1. “Common sense for your dollars and cents” - The entire Ramsey enterprise is created to help you become a better, productive human. The Ramsey show, the OG, is my favorite by far. The Ramsey Baby Steps are designed to help you take control of your finances using common sense steps that we weren’t really taught. 2. Grandma would be proud of you - There’s lots of money advice on YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook that gives you a greasy or scummy feeling just watching it. That’s not the feeling with DRS. You listen live to real stories from people Dave Ramsey Solutions have helped past, present, and future, with teachings from the Bible and your grandmother. Common sense, no gimmicks. Personally, these teachings have saved me from slavery money for cars, education, Mastercard, etc. Thank you DRS. Proverbs :: “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender”

3. Too many weak guest hosts - It doesn’t matter how much you try to feature Jade and promote her, she’s just not very good… I get that she “knows the methodology”, but that doesn’t make her entertaining as a host. (I know the baby steps too, that doesn’t mean you should hire me as talent…) Unfortunately when I see the newest podcast episode features her, I skip it… and as much as y’all have pushed her of late, this means I’m listening less and less… I understand this is building bench strength and part of the succession plan, but talent matters… have her practice off the air - it’s not an optimal audience experience trying to develop her chops on air…

4. Delony is incredible! - Delony Is the most valuable asset at Ramsey. His mental health advice, redefining anxiety, and own your past change your future has changed my life for the better. He is the best!!! Love all the Ramsey team but Dr. Delony shines bright in his own world of mental health. He also is incredibly funny and you have to love all of the Delonyisms he comes up with. His books both Redefining Anxiety, and own your past change your future are in my top favorite books (own your past change your future being my book I have ever read) Also, his question for humans cards are just GOLD have several decks and love them!!! Want to add that I’m so proud of George he’s doing so amazing and I will continue to support his journey at he grows.

7. Changed my life - For the first some of years of my life I had no idea what I was doing with my money; no budget, no savings, no investments NOTHING! After going through my second divorce and starting a new career asa truck driver that is very rewarding I found myself desperately needing direction with my finances. I had heard of Dave Ramsey program before but never followed through. I finally said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I was sick and tired of it. I hired a financial coach that is certified by Ramsey and applied the principles. I have been debt free since February ‘ and have a fully funded emergency fund. I am investing heavily for my future. I sleep like a baby every night. I do not worry about a thing. This peace, the peace of being in control of my money, of being debt free, is indescribable. Surrender to the program. You will be glad you did. Trust me on this.

8. Excellent financial freedom advice!! - One hundred percent agree financial freedom is top priority! It is excellent advice to have a year fixed home loan and plan on paying it off early, also highly recommend being a landlord as young as possible. As far as credit cards, people who cannot afford to pay cash for a $. sweater should not be buying the $. sweater which is only worth at best five dollars once you leave the store! I have known people that pay on a $. sweater for years, it is an insane way to live!

1. Love being a BFF - I’ve been following Vivian on IG for a while, so I had to check out her podcast! I enjoy the content and think it’s important information. Financial literacy has been out of reach for many for a long time, so what Vivian is doing is wonderful! Looking forward to the next episode.

2. Finally a FUN finance pod for the girlies!! - Already obsessed with this and recommended to my friends. My husband and I do a lot of real estate investment and he handles all of the finances- he’s tried to explain stuff to me but I often get overwhelmed and just zone out. Lol The podcasts he listens to put me to sleep and my brain becomes mush when I try to read any finance articles. Between her Instagram and now this podcast, Vivian has done a great job at describing financial topics and keeping it fun but still educational/up to date. I’m so excited to keep listening and maybe know more about finance than my husband?? Lol

3. Finally a podcast that makes my family financially savvy - Thanks to Vivian I have made few strategic changes to how I invest, save and diversify my assets. My three year daughter got her own credit card ( I keep it ) - thanks to her videos. I was able to set up a plan and even create trust funds all courtesy Vivian’s advice. My daughter Bodhi will benefit greatly due to her financial savvy tips. I even got benefited with southwest holiday debacle. She is only influencer who wants all of us to do well not just her. Thank you Vivian we love you and owe a lot to your work. Your fans from Austin Texas - nehal & BodhI

4. Interesting - Kind of was turned off on the whole be mad at the billionaires not the millionaire part the episode. Kind of weird. Felt like it was a “be mad at those rich people not my level of rich”. The fair share of taxes thing was a little off putting as well. Lots of energy. Not boring
Upbeat She has a great voice. Seems incredibly intelligent and sharp. I have hopes for the podcast. I have subscribed and will tune in on future episodes. Hopefully it stays towards money and wealth building techniques for individuals, and stays out of the politics and current events
left wing vs right wing
racial/gender/ideological based topics.

8. Excited to learn more! - Love how educated and well spoken Vivian is! So excited to learn more about finance (especially in a non-boring way)!
That said, I certainly hope that the conversation maintains the philosophy that wealth should be a means to an end (bettering society, providing for your family, taking care of those less fortunate) rather than THE end.
I think Vivian makes this clear but I hope she continues to clarify that money shouldn't be THE end. Rather, it's a way to connect with others, ourselves, and better take care of one another

1. HBO Max is not the same thing as HBO - Great podcast! Regarding the March episode on why TV streaming services are pulling shows from their platforms: To clarify, “Made for Love” is an HBO Max show, not an HBO show - it’s not in the company of the HBO pantheon of shows like “The Sopranos”, “The Wire”, “True Detective”, “True Blood”, “Succession, etc. Yes, there is a (big) difference. HBO Max has an entirely different creative team from HBO. HBO (the linear pay TV channel we all know and love) is available via HBO Max (the way it was via HBO Go and HBO Now before) - but it is a distinct brand from HBO Max and has a distinct slate from “HBO Max Originals”. Hope this helps!

2. Meh - The show has lost its luster since the original crew moved on to other projects. It’s just not as interesting anymore. Many of the shows are reruns, reused episodes of The Indicator, or only loosely related to economics. Some are even as incompetent as the comment left by lovely little kitten.
2023-02-17
3. Losing interest quick - A month of no uploads. Except of course if you are willing to pay $. a month! Listened everyday for at least a year but the stories are becoming more summarized news segments with musical interludes. Rather than informative and educational journalism. Not to mention what I already mentioned about forcing people to pay if you want to listen. (I say force because at this point there is no other option or hasn’t been for a month ).

4. A good show, but…. - I love the topics and the storytelling aspects of Planet Money. If I had my way, I’d listen to it every day. However, one thing that just grates on my nerves is the… halting… narrative... style… of… the.. . presenters. Especially the female ones. It’s really irritating. And I’m not sure why they do it, because if you listen to them in the interviews, they don’t speak like that. Hopefully, it’s just a fad and will pass soon.
2023-01-23
5. Edutainment at its Finest - I’m a neophyte to the field but who’d of known economics could be so appealing? I guess the millions who study it! This podcast has illuminated so many things for me and covered so many fascinating stories all under the umbrella of economics. I’m Sarah Gonzalez and this has been, planet money (tehe).
2022-12-06
6. Love the story, don’t love the new logo - It’s hard to name a favorite podcast, but this is certainly in my top . Deep economic insights, getting into the weeds just enough to tell the story right. Also, where else will you learn about the economics of the comic industry, complete with a musical?!?
2022-12-04
7. Still good, but taken a dip - Years ago, I gave this stars; was one of my top . Sadly, NPR management must have listened to an episode and found there were not enough democratic advertisements. So, they went political. Recently, it’s gotten better, but still too biased for me to trust them. Too bad. I miss the old one. The Robocall invasion, the value of an index traded fund, even the Starbury just surprised me in a good way. But the FTX episode was outstanding, so I’ll keep them for now.
2022-12-02
8. Foolish - Within the first ten minutes of their most recent episode their guest suggested that college students and people with low income shouldn’t feel bad about taking on credit card debt because they are effectively borrowing from their future self who will be much richer. This is ludicrous you are realistically borrowing from the credit card company at likely a high s percentage point. I’m disappointed that someone would advise young, impressionable college students to go crazy with credit card debt after they are likely already finding themselves embroiled in the student loan crisis.

1. Breeding Our Way to Success - Breeding our way to economic prosperity has quickly become Prof G’s hobby horse – I don’t get it, he’s an exceptional critical thinker. While I remain his biggest fan, the instinct that more breeding is necessary to avert some perceived future disaster is simply not supported by evidence and, I’d argue, is unusually half-baked for his podcast. Economists have been crying wolf for decades about this and pointing to China, with its draconian birth policy, as the example of what will happen without net population growth. Even as China gets older and its economy continues to boom along with its living standard – all as a result of a thoughtful and comprehensive policy. In fact, in the past decade or so China has been exporting labor. Are carbon emissions driven by lifestyle? Maybe a question for the % who own jets or yachts. For the rest of us this is a strawman. The population level of a country remains a much stronger predictor of carbon emissions than living standard. For most of us as individuals, emissions reduction from having one less child dwarfs all other lifestyle choices (no disrespect intended here). Even in the US with its high living standard, most emissions involve burning fossil fuels for electricity, heat, and transportation. So is innovation tied to birth rate and the number of young people? Ask India and African countries how well this has worked. Among developed and developing countries there isn’t even a weak relationship between median age and technological performance. China, with its declining birth rates (not to mention the dictatorship and freedoms thing) is in the top ten technologically advanced countries. Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, all have aging populations and all are in the top five for technology and top for living standard. We really need to take a fresh look at the more-is-better paradigm of economic growth, but let’s assume that a continually expanding workforce is needed for economic well being. Switzerland, a country of high median age, low birth rate, and in the top ten countries for tech innovation, living standard, and retirement benefits, has been importing labor for decades in response to demand, while giving improved living conditions to immigrants and while still being frugal about how it doles out citizenship. Switzerland is far from the only country that does not feel constrained by boundaries in its view of the value and dynamics of workforce. Can we feed a forever-increasing population? No. Though it is amazing how we’ve fed an exploding world population through industrial agriculture and technology (the invention of a process to pull nitrogen out of the air by two German scientists in their late s made all the difference). At the moment, the bigger problem of population increases involves production of commodities other than food including water, precious metals, and other resources, all of which are in finite supply and many of which involve environmental impacts. Again, all problems of increasing population. Is means testing the silver bullet for sustainable funding for senior benefits? No, but it’s likely to be a part of the solution for countries with aging populations and is already doing its work in many places. Means testing will likely be instituted in the US to an even greater degree to push back asset reserve depletion for social security. Technology development also plays an increasing role in building sustainability in response to shifting demographics. In sum there's no evidence that Americans need to increase birth rates even for purely economic reasons; in fact, the balance of evidence points in the other direction and that governments should not be incentivizing reproduction. I always cringe when someone proposes more government benefits (eg, free daycare) at the expense of taxpayers and especially those without children already paying disproportionately higher taxes and to whom we should all be grateful. Thankfully there are many, of all ages, thinking about solutions for achieving sustainability in all its forms that are far more sophisticated than just making more babies. I really hope Prof G takes another look at this.

2. Vapid Edginess - Sound smart by obliquely referencing philosophy (e.g. “tech is a religion”), but most points they make are ultimately just the consensus opinion refracted through a snarky lens. The hosts have fragile egos, and give off the vibe of a year-old who’s just read two pages of Nietzsche and wants everyone to know it. Vulgar. South Park for trust-fund finance bros. They do know their subject matter well though, if you can bear the rest of it. The older I get, the less patience I have…
2023-03-09
3. Not sure what’s been going on - Scott may be going through some sort of a crisis, but his propaganda around birthrates is making me question a lot of his other ideas. He’s dragging a theory that the birthdate will flatten in the s as if it’s the end of the world, and is exaggerating it to make it seem like it’s happening tomorrow.
2023-02-27
4. Please crash Bill Maher’s “Real Time” - Scott, really appreciate your intellect, opinions and humor. Was watching Bill Maher and thought YOU should be answering the questions . They were in your wheelhouse; capitalism vs another economic model and what we Americans should do to fix our system. Anyways… you’ve taught a lot and I hope you continue on this path. Your views benefit us.
2023-02-20
5. Decent Guests - The market and tech rants are a bit obvious and redundant. The liberal yet capitalist conservative chasing the myth of necessary economic growth dissonance gets old too. It feels like naming obvious problems without proposing tangible solutions. However, the questions and guests are often interesting and insightful. Scott asks good questions, translates responses into understandable bites, and adds humor around serious topics.

6. Great show please do not give hopes that options on average make you money - I know you were trying to be balanced but i’m not entirely sure the message got accross, please dont say that you can time the market with options and on average make money.. i know you did not mean this but if that’s how i understood it, chances are others did too
2023-02-13
7. Population decline perspective - I wish I was smart enough to develop a macro economic model of population decline combined with automation and job displacement and a better distribution of wealth. Population decline solves many problems with housing shortages and fossil fuel pollution to name but a few. Just imagine, if the fractional trillionaire’s in our society were merely billionaires, and that money was used to drastically increase wages for a smaller population. That smaller but wealthier population will consume more per capita; perhaps the economy could still continue to grow. The money generated from increased automation and productivity could be used for better schools, daycare, etc. so the remaining population could become more productive. Surely somebody out there must’ve modeled this idea and I wonder if it’s just trash or a workable model?
2023-02-02
8. Upfit the outlook on pop. growth - Thanks for your show this week on population decline. As an entrepreneur with two children in their late teens, who vocally have no motivation to have children of their own, I think you missed one argument. For all the momentum behind growth and immigration we also need to emphasize dialing back our greed and convenient consumption and sync some serious benefits into our markets that incentivize saving the planet.

Comments
1. Hard to listen to - The interviewer can’t seem to let the other person finish a sentence before feeling the need to cut in. He does this particularly when he wants the listener to feel like the idea was his all along and not that if the interviewee. The interviewees handle it with a grace that I would not have.
2022-09-04
2. Good meat but cocky delivery - There’s certainly a ton of valuable information that he shares. No doubting that. However, the way he shoves his own brilliance and success down the throats of the listeners is irritating. I will ALWAYS respect someone more when they have humility. Humility doesn’t take away from your smarts. Also they way he talks over those he interviews drives me up the wall. But if you are in need of bite size tidbits that have a lot of meat and information, here you go!

3. In tune with the way branding should be done - We can’t say enough poignant things about our interview with Sean. He’s BOLD, certain, and at the same time, absolutely in tune with the way branding SHOULD be done. It all starts with the story, and culminates with COMMITMENT. We were so impressed with his outlook and actions, we asked him to be on our podcast as well. We look forward to unveiling the story...and the star.

4. Serious value for serious entrepreneurs - I’ve been in the process of starting my consulting business and a friend of mine recommended this podcast. I must say, everything Sean talks about is inspiring and he gives actionable steps on mentor Mondays! The good and ugly side of business is explained on this show and I love it!!!

5. Charlottesville & Ferguson - I was with you and really liked your podcast. The way you talked to Zachary Babcock on one of your episodes offended me and probably any other person that was bothered by the Michael Brown killing as well as the the white supremacists in Charlottesville. Both of those events were not one off’s, it was just the events that got televised and a bunch of attention. You have the luxury of not having to worry about matters like that. Zachary wasn’t even trying to go there with you; he seems to be a good guy. You sort of showed who you are. I even heard you say “cotton picking” in the same conversation as you described a story in that episode. I wasn’t going to leave a review at first but I figured you probably don’t even know how offensive you were on this episode with your privilege. But, I figure you don’t care to have people like me listen to your podcast anyway. You’re the majority. I’m not. Peace. unsubscribed
2020-05-17
6. Three Stars - Sean rants and pontificates, but he excels at entertaining listeners, choosing length, and instructing newbies. I liked the length, but Sean's tone ailenated, so I downgraded this from Four Stars to Three Stars and I unsubscribed. I suppose if you want an entrepreneurship podcast that last minutes and you can't find anything else, this might get you through a day of work. I get the feeling Sean is scolding and lecturing the listener during the podcast, and I prefer a different vibe.

1. Long-time listener says bye-bye - While the show has always had a cancerous underbelly of politics to it, during the past few years it has metastasized into stage-four. This is a business / finance show, not a politics’ show. The person to blame is Kai as he has embraced the change to a politics-centric show. Notwithstanding, it might be palatable if it was politically balanced but it never is. Even the regular contributors to the show are leftist Kai-sycophants. And while I’m on the subject of Kai and Marketplace, I want to add a postscript about the show “Make Me Smart” that Kai does with Molly Wood. It’s a mini-version of Marketplace with the two hosts acting like lovey-dovey adolescents. I could only listen to it for a few episodes until it “Made Me Dumb.” I’m gone Kai and while I nostalgically miss the “ancient” (much less political format) Marketplace, I am happy to report that the Wondery podcasts are fabulous - I’m never looking back!
2023-03-09
2. Overly produced and unfocused - I did not know that it would be possible to wokify a financial podcast. But this one has accomplished it. It seems that in every episode, they find a way to weasel in some sort of agenda-based puff piece, rather than just focusing on the financial news topics that are relevant and what I had intended to listen for.
2023-03-08
3. Fantastic - Kai does an amazing job. The podcasts are always interesting and varied; they’re insightful and also go into a lot of detail, but always very up-to-date with a good and strong economic focus. I have been listening to this podcast for many many years and it never bores me. I always learn something new.
2023-03-01
4. Dated format, overly dramatic - The show needs an overhaul to make it a more manageable length and cut the unnecessary fat. Listeners are looking for - minute shows, in my opinion, rather than this - minute format that includes too many musical interludes and unnecessary fill time. I find myself skipping the show altogether because some stories drag and the unnecessary music and chatting is a waste of my time. Pick it up, Marketplace!

5. Can’t live without this show - . pm EST, when this show airs every day, is when i’m usually in the middle of my everyday run / walk after work. Work is insane and stressful, and this show is the perfect thing to listen to when you’re out clearing your head, calming down, trying to decompress after another crazy stressful day in the NY banking world. Kai and the reporters on the show are a treasure, I can’t live without this show, keep going forever!

6. I have loved this show for years - It’s a great program, my favorite on our local NPR station. As a Muslim woman, I love how they do stories on Muslims in what I think is a fair, thoughtful and accurate way. This program has helped us through major purchases, including buying our home. The information is so good, and understandable even for people like me who don’t have a background in finance or economics. Ky and all their reporters break it down in such easy-to-understand language, but without making me feel like they’re talking down. Thank you!

7. On the ground in Buffalo, NY - I listen regularly and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Kai and Nela talking with people in Buffalo, NY, and the analysis at the end which they provided. It made it real for me to hear how the business people and the average person are struggling in this economy. I really appreciated seeing how, as Nela Richardson put it, “the data matched the human experience.” Thank you for all you do. - Carol from Houston

8. Schadenfreude - bad karma - Shocked the host enjoys bad economic news, when it was a republican, actually cheered unemployment claims. Not sensitive to people only his politics. This program left business and economy focus and is more political - it’s just lost its way. Maybe Kia would be more sensitive if it was his job. Job losses are not good news for anyone. Shame on you. Now all news is happier than the energy, war, and looming recession justifies. News please not masked lies.

3. Real and Raw - I love listening to Andy’s podcast because he always tells it exactly how it is. It really has helped me on my own journey because the topics help me to “check” myself. Am I really doing all I can? I ALWAYS am able to take AT LEAST piece of advice away from every podcast I’ve listened to thus far! Listening to this podcast has MOST definitely helped me strengthen my mind. Thank you for all you do!

4. Changed my game - Best podcast out there. Started listening to this and the MFCEO podcast recently. Kicked me into gear to work on getting my own business going and getting my mindset where it needs to be. I work in mental health and in fitness. In mental health— I get tired of the canned phrases and frosting put on everything. It’s nice to have a space to hear people just keeping it real. I was lacking motivation for a while, and something about this podcast and the other one helped me say “do it anyway.” And I’ve just been powering through, still not always motivated, but I’ve chosen to be disciplined.

5. 6. Top all around show - I’ve been listening ever since Andy and Vaughn the pastor of disaster started MFCEO Project. I haven’t missed an episode since. 7. My favorites together - First of all Andy and Vaughn changed my life for the better. And now I’m serving others as I told Andy on IG. I’ve been listening to all of Andy’s and Hormozi’s content and to see both together makes me beyond excited. Thank you for all the free content you share. I’m beyond grateful. (And now I’m trying to serve my nutrition community in the same way.) DJ- thank you for being you and protecting Andy! Looking forward to see how much you grow and lead too!

8. Your Success Requires Time and Tenacity - I had a friend of mine share this podcast because I was feeling discouraged about pursing my engineering career and how ready was to switch careers because of one little test. I’ve always said to myself that “good things come to those who wait” and listening to the episode made me go back to that quote because no matter how tough things get it and you get knocked down it’s better to get up and fight even stronger and strive for what you’re aiming for. This really boasted my confidence up and gave me the will to keep fighting for that engineering career that I want!

1. Mark was great ! But host a little hypocritical? - I’ve heard Mr. Manson before and enjoyed his new insights and perspective, especially on personal development and his life’s journey. Not to sound critical but to start the show with Tony Robbins promoting it feels hypocritical since you then go on to criticize his methods, which is super helpful and insightful. Other than that nice episode!

2. Great guests, not great interviews - Wanted to love this since there are some amazing guests, but the host interrupts so much and interjects her own opinion, and I just couldn’t listen anymore. She also makes comments sometimes that seem to make guests uncomfortable, either trying to flatter them or get connections.

3. The kick that I need to get going - Jennifer Cohen’s podcast is the right kind of dialogue I need to amp me up for a week of slaying my goals. There’s a lot of shows that attempt break down hustle and habits, but Jennifer’s show is the only one you’ll need. This podcast is the life sensei I can’t afford to hire but can make time to listen to.

5. Feed your brain - I am very mindful about everything in my life. I read all ingredients about what I am eating. I make sure my soaps and lotions are vegan (your skin is an organ). I even ensure that watch I watch and listen to is something that is enriching and gains me a wealth of knowledge. Habits and Hustle podcast is brain food! Each episode is like a masterclass from top professionals in their fields. I am always taking notes. Jennifer doesn’t give you a boring interview. She digs beyond the surface to really bring out each guests personalities. I have learned so much from the show. I listen to it on my morning walks to keep me motivated. It’s like I’m exercising my entire being that way! She picks the best people, too. My favorite episode thus far was when she interviewed Wallo. What a transformation! Can’t wait to see who’s next each week.

7. Episode - I really like this podcast and Jenn is awesome but I was disappointed with episode . I go to fit body boot camp and LOVE it and was really excited to hear the creator of it talk. As I listened all he talked about was making money and I was under the impression he really cared for people but the impression I got from this episode was work harder to make money bottom line. It was a bit disheartening, I’m glad my coaches at Fit Body make me feel completely opposite.

8. Potential but falls short - Searching for new inspiration along the habits and healthy practices line, came across this one. I listened to the podcast where she talks with Gabby Reece (“interview” might be too generous a description). Ms Reece was more than gracious in her responses to a really unorganized and pretty pedantic set of questions. A number of times she helped the interviewer back to some ‘lessons’ or insights. Ms Cohen seemed either star struck or just ill prepared. Lucky for her that her guest has done this before and saved the show.

Tim Ferriss is a self-experimenter and bestselling author, best known for The 4-Hour Workweek, which has been translated into 40+ languages. Newsweek calls him "the world's best human guinea pig," and The New York Times calls him "a cross between Jack Welch and a Buddhist monk." In this show, he deconstructs world-class performers from eclectic areas (investing, chess, pro sports, etc.), digging deep to find the tools, tactics, and tricks that listeners can use.

1. Seriously where has this been all my life?! - I’ve read (and re-read) the Hour Workweek a few times, and LOVED it. I knew Tim had a podcast, but I never listened because the episodes are so long. And because I felt that I’d rather him from him directly than lots of random guests. Boy was I wrong! Tim is an excellent interviewer, and I’ve found myself wanting a hour podcast episode to last even longer. never thought that would happen! Plus, there are plenty of solo episodes or times Tim is being interviewed by someone else. Anyway, excellent show. Appreciate you, Tim!
2023-02-17
2. Wisdom. Outstanding Show. - Wisdom. Plain and simple. Tim’s adept at asking questions, questions—most importantly—I want answers to. Tim’s not only a great interviewer but also an erudite, which makes you a more incisive person as a result. Furthermore, I know what I’m about to say may cause some incredulity—I myself don’t always believe it when I read it—but I can unequivocally say listening to this podcast is like listening to a very close, hilarious friend! If you invariably crave knowledge as much as I do, check out his show!! You will not regret it!! Tim, keep up the outstanding work, man!! We truly appreciate it!!

3. Loved - This episode with Wade Davis was exceptionally fascinating to listen to from start to finish. I loved it! What a remarkable human being. I admired his life story. What an amazing mentor to have in the life of young man today. Speaking as the mother of a yo. Thank you
Gracias. Obrigada, Merci, Arigato!

4. Overindulging - I like Tim Ferris, I think his guest are interesting and great choices for the podcast. Now, I cannot stand anyone wasting my time, and ironically Tim should be one of few people to understand that. Example, I forward the podcast to the min mark, because anything before is a waste of my time, ads and Tim’s questions for the guest, that he should’ve asked him privately. This podcast is h, with ads alone getting -min of it. Shameless. Then you have Tim answering his own questions for the quest. An episode should be about min of the guest talking, share ideas and interests etc. Optimize it for f sake, please, no more fluff.
2023-01-27
5. bit bro-ey indeed - I’ll listen to the show when I’m in a certain mood and some conversations are thoughtful and done well. But seriously, it’s January. Tim hasn’t talked to a woman since July… and then again for I don’t know how long. It’s not just the obvious focus on successful (often white) male guests. The show generally revolves around optimization, hacking life for success, and a noticeable lack of anything feminine — not to mention his long term partner has remained an unnamed Girlfriend that he has brought up only when talking about his eventual plan to have kids, until recently, where it appears she broke up with him. If you told me Tim had read, if not contributed to, a lot of the How to be a Player and How to be Alpha books, I would believe you. He has good episodes, even touching at times, but other episodes I can hardly muster the first minutes (that is, after the first of ad-blasting us)
2023-01-21
6. Yes and no - I genuinely like Tim, understand and respect his work. However I feel it is increasingly becoming a show that supports his friends and business connections. Why would he have Rick Rubin on after Rubin’s unethical work practices that made him rich off Beastie Boys is well known? Why no in depth podcasts on the Ponzi scheme that is cryptocurrency? We all are inconsistent and allowed to change however as a famous podcaster there comes some responsibility to address these inconsistencies as it conflicts with the “truth” he claims to represent.
2023-01-19
7. Ask men who takes care of their kids - Tim is an excellent interviewer and I appreciate the guests he has on the snow. However there is a glaring omission in several of his interviews of men who talk about how they became successful — he never asks how the men deal with family life, or acknowledge the women who take care of their kids in order to enable the man to take a month to travel every year (Rich Roll, kids), spend hours every morning lost in thought (Cal Newport, also with kids), etc. Managing a family is such a huge part of life, and to not even address it suggests that childcare isn’t and should be be the concern of these men. It also suggests that these men do it all alone, when in fact in both the examples I mention I guarantee they have women behind the scene making it all possible (whether unpaid wives or paid domestic workers). Not an ideal message for the young men who idolize Tim and his interview subjects. Just please add this question, Tim!

8. Couldn’t get past the two but used car salesman peddling of products - First minutes, Peddling products and always mentioning “My girlfriend” ok... big commitment there... she must proud with that title. No name. No paper signed. Just “my girlfriend” an antiquated title of ownership. How embarrassing. I’m also concerned this guy is either a drug addict or has mental illness.

2. I’ve Listened To Episodes Of The $ MBA Show - I first started listening to the $ MBA Show around when the th episode was released. I’m probably not your typical listener of this podcast. I don’t own a business. I just needed something to listen to for my daily commute that was different in subject and tone from the other podcasts I was listening to at the time. Eight years and two thousand plus episodes later, I’m still listening to the $ MBA. I enjoy Omar’s positive, upbeat, and encouraging lessons and attitude. He gives real, interesting, informative, and useful advice. Many of these lessons have specific examples that come from Omar’s own experience as an entrepreneur. I’ve learned a lot about entrepreneurship without actually being one. Even without owning a business, I find it worthwhile to listen to this podcast. And If I do start a business someday, I’m much more ready after being a regular listener. After all these episodes, I’m still not tired of the $ MBA Show. There’s almost always something I find interesting in each one. Some podcasts that I used to listen to are no longer being made, but the $ MBA Show is still going strong and still feels as fresh as ever. Thanks to Omar and his team for making such a great podcast. One more thing — I also really enjoy the show’s theme music, even after hearing it thousands of times.

3. Actionable and Educational Info and Easily Digestible - Entrepreneur or not, we are all busy and always looking for the “best” or “easiest” way to achieve something. Omar showcases some of the brightest minds in entrepreneurship, who genuinely sound like they live for offering golden nuggets of wisdom. Think of it as your continued education in not just entrepreneurship, but learning about people and the simple fact that we all want to belong and find common ground. It's those very foundations that keep us moving towards our dreams and visions of what success means to us. It's evident that Omar sincerely wants his listeners to thrive and leave a mark in this world.

4. Great Listen - I was moved by Omar's solo episode Must Read: Expert Secrets by Russell Brunson. Omar mentioned that two people can be right in their truths and there are multiple ways to reach the same destination, in sales and in business. Your beliefs around business and success will ultimately determine the outcome of it! This such an amazing podcast and I highly suggest it to anyone!

5. Practical Usable Huge Value - I just recently became aware of the $ MBA show, and if there’s a single approach I absolutely love it is the practical step-by-step approach providing value to the listener. I do a lot of leadership training, and what I do know is that when I provide a step-by-step approach that is the deal maker for providing value to my clients. I’ll be tuning in a lot more. Thanks so much.

7. Episode . TRUST Yourself and Success Will Follow - EPIC episode Heather. I didn’t know you were a believer in the Lord. That amazing course. This episode really hit home for me because I’ve struggled with not having confidence in myself consistently. As a speaker, author, and coach, I teach and coach people on how to build confidence in themselves. Most of my students and clients are living their best lives. They did the work. I was their coach and teacher so I take zero credit for my client’s successes. With that being said, I found myself self doubting my gifts as I pivot into the podcast world. I know I have what it takes to be a great podcast host. The talent is there. I’m learning the world of podcasting like following Gary Vee and other podcast coaches, I’m associated with. Taking that next step is where the fear sets in. But I know success is about growing towards your life’s purpose. Like you, I was always a great speaker / storyteller. It took me a very long time before I got onto live stages. God has blessed me with great talents and gifts but my work-ethic needs to increase and trust in God that he has my back. This episode gave me perspective and success gems to put into action. Thank you so much for your wisdom and the passion to help others create confidence to live their best lives.

1. Alcoholism - As a man in recovery for . years or days . The only cure is abstinence . Lots of people shun the step program because most don’t want to face their own faults or their past . Some alcoholics drink everyday other simply have what we call an allergy to alcohol meaning , “it breaks me out in spots, Vegas , Atlantic City , mustang ranch , Dallas etc “ you get the point , we don’t drink everyday but when we do we pass the buzz stage and go straight to blackout . Now after years of work a program could I drink again, probably for a short time . The ironic thing with the last statement is alcoholism is the only disease that tells you , that you’re not sick , hence me thinking I could drink for a short time and be ok. That is a lie , no way I could drink and be ok. Through only finding the God of the Bible who I see as a power greater than myself was powerful enough to get me through the steps and start to live a contributing productive life . ( this is my experience and doesn’t reflect on everyone else )

2. Perspective Shift - The most valuable thing I receive from this podcast is perspective. Listening to all of the live guests share their experiences is eye opening. Some of the accounts, such as Captain Charlie Plum’s, are borderline unbelievable. If I am ever under the impression that I’m having a “bad day”, I remember what Captain Plum endured. It’s also good to know that actual superheroes exist. When I listened to John Stryker Meyer’s account of jumping out of a helicopter into a jungle canopy in Vietnam, I had to rewind the program to make sure that I heard it correctly. This madman bailed out of a chopper with no rope, to save others. No gun. No rope. He just landed on a tree and made his way down it. He definitely expanded the scope of Airborne. Most families in this country have veterans among them. My great-uncle, Sgt. John “Junior” Jones, was one of the special operations advisors that went down on Tiger Flight on March th . He was on the All Army rifle and pistol team. Junior was one of the most accurate marksman who ever lived. His deer hunting feats of marksmanship, in the mountains of Cache Valley, Utah, were the stuff of legends. Jocko, Echo Charles and their guests provide an invaluable service by sharing the selfless and extraordinary events of real human beings who have proudly served this country. These real-life accounts are now secured for future generations. Outstanding work gentleman. Sam Nelson

3. My go to podcast - I often find with so many options at my finger tips for entertainment I am often frozen with what to watch or listen to. I always come back to Jocko though. 4. Wish I Knew About This Podcast in ! - Discovered Jocko & Echo’s podcast only weeks ago. Now on episode . It will take me a year to get current(listening at . speed), but it is incredible. Start listening and “Get After It!”

5. Afghanistan —Episode - Thanks for your podcast and outstanding interviews. A note about your discussion in episode re; our disastrous exit from Afghanistan. Your guest rightly pointed out that the USG negotiated the end to the US presence (known as the Doha agreement) with the Taliban, without involvement of the Afghan government. Listeners not versed in this history should be aware that the Doha agreement was negotiated and signed off on in February by the Trump administration, before the election. Trump went on to announce a September departure date while he remained president, and the withdrawal was advanced by a month to August and executed by the Biden administration. It’s important that we, as a country, confront facts and acknowledge that the blame for this shameful policy disaster rests on both parties, both administrations, each inappropriately trying to win approval of a US public disinclined to continue a presence in Afghanistan. Sadly, many Americans no longer understand the importance of the United States remaining engaged, even in small numbers, in strategic areas of conflict like Afghanistan. In fact, the trend, sadly, is towards isolationism. Eventually we will all pay the price for this naïveté. Keep up the excellent podcast!

6. Reflection and opening new doors - Jocko's pod has fantastic subjects and content that have me reflecting on my past experiences while relating them to present day life. 8. Episode - I’m often asked why I listen to so many podcast? I’ve often asked that myself. Do I like the noise in the background of my day? Do I like the entrainment value from each podcast? Am I edified by random pieces of information dropped, or from the POVs of the host(s)? Well, those questions were answered in full today with episode (Booker T. Washington). I listen for the episode like this episode. An episode that is not only entertaining, with great back and forth from the host but absolutely epically mind blowing. Which happens more often then not with the Jocko podcast line, there are several to choose from.

1. Hala Scott Galloway - As a longtime fan of Scott Galloway, I was excited by Hala’s interview with him and found their discussion expansive and insightful. As the father of two young boys, I was especially interested in how they talked about the changing landscape for young men in America, but not only that. The topics ranged from from understanding the difference between what we like vs. what we can monetize to the importance of exercise. I’m glad to have spent the time with the show and will certainly listen to more of Hala’s podcasts. She asks sharp questions and moves along a conversation quite seamlessly.

And though she could place herself in front of many, she moves through interviews with depth and magically shines her power, intellect, and spotlight on her guests like a true pro. It’s humble. It’s smart. It’s the real deal! And I appreciate her influence and encouragement more than she will ever know. Keep building the empire, Tala!

1. Declining in quality, still worth a listen - The show has certainly struggled to find its footing in the post-Stacey and Cardiff era. It's difficult to lose the hosts who made the show what it is, but the Indicator has retained the spirit of short, topical, informational episodes. Whereas the show used to be a must listen, now I find myself skipping episodes after a minute or so. This is primarily due to the new hosts, whose giggling, bad attempts at humor, choppy dialogue, and bad line reading pull me out of the show. Adrian Ma? You're a total pro. But the other contributors to the show have made the Indicator go from "must-listen" to a "we'll see."

2. The Long Slide - I used to really love this show, Cardiff and Stacey were awesome and really seemed to bring a balanced perspective to the content. With the host change ups the last year or so, it seems the show is slowly being drawn into the NPR black hole ethos. More and more left wing pontificating and less fact telling. I literally never skipped an episode with Stacey and Cardiff, now I find myself skipping more and more often. I can read the title and get the agenda; sad but I suppose things always change. Still subscribed, but on my way out the door.

3. Great show that is slowly declining in quality. - I used to love the show when it first premiered and would likely give it stars. Over the past year or two as they have switched hosts the quality has slowly declined. Too much attempted comedy from people that are not very funny. Stick to the classic story telling format instead of the weird voices and theatrics that do little to further the concept or point.

4. Fun, informative, and to-the-point - Want to stay up with the latest economic news and trends, but not in a dry or dusty format? This is the podcast for you. The short length and breezy tone are just right to keep the listenership engaged on all kinds of topics, ones that would put you to sleep in other contexts — highly technical ones such as yield curve inversions, quantitative easing, and job reports. The most fun you will have listening to an economics podcast.

5. The Best Finance Podcast! - I just finished listening to the latest episode of The Indicator and I have to say, it's one of the best finance podcasts out there. The show does an excellent job of breaking down complex financial concepts and making them easy to understand. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking to learn more about the latest trends in the world of finance!

6. The most fun you can have in economics - A wonderful short form Econ podcast. Always easy to grasp and generally clever, quite likable hosts, and relevant to what is happening now. The regular episodes like jobs Friday sort of anchor the show. But you can also get an irreverent “macroeconomic sea shanty”. I never miss it.

7. Downhill. Woken. Unsubscribe - The program was light and fun. That’s gone. The new cast are all libs. They push the woke agenda. Social justice warriors with the bubble perspective that comes from living in cramped in NYC housing and working in a decidedly leftist beehive that is NPR. Classic wrangler

8. Do you hate Elon more than you hate yourself - Listening to you all talk about Elon using other peoples money when you could’ve done this episode about every corporate purchase over the last years because you’re so jealous is awesome. Your show is pure propaganda and I throw up in my mouth every time I listen.

1. Used to be my favorite podcast - Used to listen to this show religiously but it feels like it gets more negative each new episode I listen to and makes REI seem unattainable. Have switched to just listening to real estate rookie and on the market. Bring back Brandon- David Greene has too much of an ego it’s really hard to listen to.

4. Bigger pockets podcast is THE best! - I have been listening, and sometimes watching this podcast on YouTube for years. I remember when it was just Josh and Brandon. If it wasn’t for this podcast, I probably wouldn’t have had the confidence to buy my first rental. I just want to thank everyone in the BiggerPockets community for all of the help you guys have provided me. And even though Josh and Brandon aren’t on the podcast anymore, they still have excellent hosts in David and Rob! Keep up the good work, everyone!

1. was a good show - Adding to my review. I am going to drop listening to the Lab shows because they are now close to an hour long. The main show is . hours and if the quality continues to decline I will drop podcast all together. . hours is too much to ask of listeners. Anyway it is a shame since this was my favorite podcast. The quality of quests is lower and length is increasing. The quality is going down hill. Double whammy. The stories are not as interesting and the length is way to long. Too much background. We don’t need to know the guests entire life history. I can’t listen any longer. I can’t believe that Guy has the nerve to believe that he can waste over . hours of our time. His shows keep getting longer. Too much detail that is not important. Need better editor. This is what I wrote a months back. Guy is making these shows TOO LONG. mins tops should be the target. Shows are know about . hours. I can’t deal with that. Too many shows with per week. Over load. Shows continue to get longer. Well he know is putting out shows a week. The main show released on Monday are close to . hours. Way too much background of the individual in them. nd show is the right length but so far they haven’t been very interesting. I am seriously thinking about unsubscribing because I can’t justify the use of my time. It is a shame because this was one of my favorite pod casts. I think it is now about how we can capture more of the listeners time.

2. Guy is insufferable. - The guests and companies profiled are awesome. I only wish Guy understood the role of an interviewer. Ask a question, then get out the way and let the guest tell his/her story. STOP interrupting the guest by trying to finish his/her sentence! This habit is annoying enough with a dinner party companion. It’s only worse with a podcast host.
2023-03-19
3. Please do a show - I’ve always really enjoyed listening to your show on the radio (guess that reveals my demographic) and just discovered the podcasts. Listing a new way as I move towards retirement. I’ve a suggestion about a company Flowfold that started making wallets out of recycled high end sail cloth.

4. Love the show, host is distracting - I love the companies and content of this show. I wish Guy Raz was a better interviewer - he was "like" ALOT, and he does not get to the point. It's actually really distracting and limits my enthusiasm for the podcast. The Chobani episode was probably the best one I’ve ever listened to. What an amazing story
2023-01-28
5. This could be so much better - I believe Guy Raz is intentional but he operates in both a vocal and intellectual vacuum. Hire a VO coach as your inflection is flat but then the occasional vocal fry. Millenenial. It’s like listening to Jacinda Ardern. Also there is a fundamental problem of you posing low IQ questions to self-described high IQ cats. This show is akin to a % puff piece for Holmes at Theranos. You had every chance to ask WHEN the “low carbon footprint” of Rivian trucks would cross the threshold given all “high carbon footprint” it took to fabricate one. It is a deep “carbon ROI” issue.

6. Anthony Wood revised to include Chelsea Fagsn - I would like to add my previous criticism of the Anthony Wood interview with my deepest appreciation for the Chelsea Fagan interview. It is in stark contrast to the former that I was compelled to amend my review. Chelsea Fagan should be commended for her approach to entrepreneurship. Her point of view is so refreshing. It is an approach that I have strived for in my own entrepreneurial journey. The growth at all cost narrative is arguably the single largest factor when it comes to contributing to wealth inequality. Creating a business on sustainable and inclusive principles is entirely what is needed to solve wealth inequality and Chelsea has an insightful grasp on this approach to growing a business. The growth at all cost narrative divides and distracts and not amplifying that fact perpetuates it. Chelsea is amplifying this in a way that isn’t too preachy. But I digress. Thanks again Guy for amplifying her voice. Previous review. The Anthony Wood episode was insightful - I appreciated question about his wealth, I did not appreciate the answer. When founders sign term sheets they more often than not wire inequity into their business models as well. When there is someone as brilliant as Anthony is, he has more power than most to set the operating terms for investors. But because we do not hold founders accountable for this aspect of contributing to the wealth divide, they do not take this great power with the great responsibility that it deserves. (Sorry for quoting Spider-man), hence they end up with more money than they can spend in several lifetimes. in addition they leave the decisions for how that wealth gets distributed to a wealthy few and the industry of philanthropy which perpetuates harm. If we hold these billionaires more accountable for the decisions they make before they become billionaires (at the startup stage) then we will start to see a society with more balanced equity. Listen to my Podcast Spread Love FM for more on this. Episodes & with more on this coming. Thanks for reading.

7. My Favorite Podcast - How I Built This is easily my favorite podcast. Hands down the best podcast for entrepreneurs, creatives or anyone who just enjoys a great story. The production is perfect, and Guy Raz is an exceptional, respectful host who lets the guests shine each and every episode. So much wisdom and story packed into each episode that relistening is just as good as the first play through.

8. Update Hacking - I really enjoy both this podcast and business wars, but the two podcasts are ALWAYS at the top of my long library list as being recently updated. For some time that deceived me into thinking there was a new episode. There was not. I understand the motivation behind whatever daily updates you put out in order to keep these podcasts at the top of everyones list and therefore get more listens (or perhaps the updates are completely innocuous), but youre ruining the whole point of the update list. Its quite frustrating. Also, in my case, i actually listen less because i rarely actually click on these podcasts anymore assuming there is not really a new episode.

Learn from history's greatest entrepreneurs. Every week I read a biography of an entrepreneur and find ideas you can use in your work. This quote explains why: "There are thousands of years of history in which lots and lots of very smart people worked very hard and ran all types of experiments on how to create new businesses, invent new technology, new ways to manage etc. They ran these experiments throughout their entire lives. At some point, somebody put these lessons down in a book. For very ...

3. Luckiest moment of my life - Hands down, unequivocally, one of the luckiest moments of my life, was the day I started listening to this podcast. My only regret in regards to it, is that there was a months long period between the first time I heard this show get mentioned, and the first time I actually clicked play. But thankfully, eventually, I did. Founders is incredible. I have hundreds of conversations ahead of me, and I hope by the time I get through them, there are hundreds more.

4. Great podcast, bad pronunciation. - Fantastic podcast. Amazing summaries of entire books. The Value of this to me is insanely high. Updated comment: please try to improve some pronunciations. In the Patagonia episode you recognize piton is probably wrong but keep saying it. Please just look up how to pronounce it. Similar issue with lathe in Henry Ford. Maybe it’s just because those industries relate more to me, but it hurts my ears. Love your work and gift of knowledge. Thank you very much for all that you do.

5. to go - Seriously, David works harder and is more passionate about his work and his show than any other podcaster out there (ok, I haven’t listened to every podcaster but he’s got to be in the top % in terms of passion). While I enjoy the stories he shares, it’s how he shares them that has the most impact on me. He’s excited - he always says “you and I talked about this ….” as if we’re in a constant conversation together - even though we’re not. And the way he ends every episode, x number down, to go, excites me!

6. And here we are … the future - I have been a cautious consumer … I have been pulling my attention back from social, new world entities, that have gotten cellular in the extraction of my time and energy. But I am expanding again … and this podcast is absolute solid gold and provides a strong ROI for my time and attention. I love the host’s analysis. I am sparked by the format of notes, highlights, takeaways, cross-pollination with other biographies and the “founders” foundation. So glad that MFM pointed me this direction and I can’t wait to binge the hundreds of episodes in the coming months. Great great new world work David Senora!!

7. Awesome podcast David - This pod is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I appreciate the overall concept and some of the more subtle parts of David’s naturally positive and earnest personality. I wrote this review and also rated starts on Spotify because you deserve whatever compensation and attention I can help bring to the channel

8. David is a fantastic podcast host and brings to life interesting founders - Founders podcast is great. Love the move to an ad supported model (everyone’s doing it :)) as more people will have access to it. It’s helpful to hear all the connections David is able to make. I heard about David on LibertyPRF’s podcast and you can just hear the passion he has for the podcast. Clearly a labor of love.

3. One of the Greatest - Not only is Clinton a virtuoso and business genius, but he’s one of the nicest guys in the industry too. There’s no wonder why he’s beloved amongst his peers. It’s this admiration in the business that allows him to secure some of the biggest and most interesting guests for his shows. Clinton has a crazy ability to know what’s going to be the next big thing. He was way ahead of his time in regards to music x video games. Impeccable timing just before that industry blew up. He also has a great sense of humor. If you haven’t seen him live I highly suggest you do so. I always crack up at his live shows he has hilarious interactions with his audience. I’m happy to see he brought that same comedy into his podcast. He really is a natural entertainer. Always a good time whether it’s in person or over his podcast.
