1. The Golfers Mind - This was a great book for improving mental focus in golf, and understanding that golf is game, not life or death. The book that I downloaded on I-books had a ton of typos and misspellings. I hope the printed book doesn't have this many typos, the editor did a horrible job on this book.
2012-06-272. Great book, horrible editing - The content and ideas in this book are priceless to every golfer, and I believe Dr. Rotella's teachings will help everyone who reads it. The problem is, it seems this e-book was edited by either a really bad computer program, or a very sloppy editor. There are many typos, and some are laugh out loud funny! It doesn't kill it, because you will easily be able to figure out what the mistyped words were supposed to be, but when you pay for something, it shouldn't include this many errors. The star rating would have been stars without the sloppy editing.

1. This Year is Different, comments by Phil Renfrow - In my years on this earth, I have read many sports related books. Without question, 'This Year is Different' is one of my favorites. It completely captured and brought back all the highs and lows of the Mav's - championship season. Re-living the moment following game six of the Heat series gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes. I think most any sports fan would enjoy this book. For Dallas Maverick fans, it should be a must read. My only suggestion would be that 'This Year is Different' should also be printed in hard cover, or at least soft cover. I would love to have it on my shelf in my sports/game room at my house. Many thanks to Bob Sturm for writing such a fantastic book!
2012-05-102. Great read! - Awesome!!! Great read for any Mavs fan! Brought an inside look and the magical run for the championship. I will read it many times to relive the great season that will go down in the books as one of the best. I love that we were the first ones to beat the "big three" on their supposed run to multiple championships. Way to go Bob and GO MAVS!!!!
2012-02-163. A Great Sports Book, and A Must Read for the MFFL (Mavs Fan For Life) - Bob Sturm writes with insightful detail the great Dallas Mavericks - season. He does so in historical context of Dallas Mavericks regular season successes and soul-crushing playoff failures ( finals vs. the Heat) under the ownership of Mark Cuban. But mostly, as the title implies, the book is about how our hero Dirk Nowitzki overcame the doubters to lead his Justice League Mavericks to victory over the Miami Heat Legion of Doom and become World Champions. As a season ticket holder over the past years, reading this book allowed me to re-live the historical ups and considerable downs of the past, up until this last magical season, including what was going on behind the scenes with the players, the genius Donnie Nelson, and a heart-felt forward by Mark Cuban. Well researched and very well written for a first effort at a longer-than-article length piece by Mr. Sturm. I am now ready to watch my re-tooled and new-look Mavs defend their title. GO MAVS!!!

Merry Christmas Philadelphia!!! - Even though little Bob has to work through Christmas, he was able to release a book about his favorite team - the little Mamricks (with apologies to Green Bay, Liberty, Liverpool and Team Hardline). This book is chocked full of sportsy Sturminated knowledge about sports and The Wire. It's basically an episode of the Wire with a little Sons of Anarchy and Decter (before Dexter got silly). Sports. Sports.
2011-12-165. This Year is Different-I was sturminated - I am a P of This Year is Different. I truly have had my sports world turned upside down by reading this detailed depiction of Dallas Mavericks basketball. If you want to be cancer free, happy, and an all around better person, then I suggest that you read this book. If you simply want to mill around smartly or just ask the time of your friendly mercantile, then I suggest this book. Thanks Bob Sturm for making Dallas a better place.

1. Great read!!! - If you have ever tournament fished on any level and had dreams of once being on tour then this book is for you. A real look into the struggles and successes of being a tournament angler. Great behind the lights look at what goes into self promotion and truly trying to grind out a living in fishing. 1. Very difficult to use - There was a lot of very useful information in this book, but the actual training plans are just too annoyingly difficult to use. All of the workouts are written in code so you constantly have to keep going back to see what the codes mean. This is particularly difficult to do in the iBook format. Not too practical.

1. Not very informative - No Visuals - Super basic - If you know basic terminology and (really) basic sailing concepts - stay away. I was hoping for more in-depth explanations of actually determining and setting good sail shape. Also, half the book is a definition list with NO visuals. One without any prior knowledge might even find it tricky to pick up what is being discussed.

From getting started to bucket list races, the author covers all aspects of running and intersperses each chapter with tips and advice from running luminaries like Brian Sell, Katherine Switzer and more.
