1. Excellent Study Resource! - I also highly recommend this book! I received my initial college EMT training in , and had only a State License. Recently, I needed to take the NREMT exam, so I bought this book to help. It was awesome, this books narrows your study material down to what is needed for the NREMT exam, and is full of “Test Tips” that if followed, will guide the student through. I was fearing that I may have to enroll in another EMT course, but instead, I used this book, took a weekend refresher training, and backed it up with the PocketPrep EMT app to get back into the testing mode. I just passed the NREMT exam on the first try two days ago! Use this book, follow its instructions (that’s on you, you need to study) and you WILL be successful!

1. Needs to define terms - This book does a decent job of explaining the structure of the SIFT and how to do well on it, but Clark jumps right into the weeds and does not bother to define any of the terminology that he uses to explain the inner-workings of a helicopter. Do not get this book unless you are ready to constantly google the terms that he consistently fails to explain. This book provides very few visual aids as well. I have no doubt that this would be good for someone with some experience in a helicopter, but it is nearly useless if you are completely new to it.

1. Issue with kanji depictions has returned - The order for how to wrote kanji is butchered again from the previous reviewer. Not totally the end of the world - if you use this book to learn mnemonics and then use an Anki deck for RTK that includes stroke order (and write your mnemonics into the cards too of course), you can have the best of both worlds. Just a tad jank lol, but better than carrying the book everywhere with me while I speed run this book. Happy studying :)

2. Bugs - I began reading this just the other day and the step by step writing of the kanji was recognizable after each snippet but today when i started reading they had been replaced by something completely different. Im not sure how much that may limit the usefulness of this book but it seems entirely odd that such a bug should be possible in the first place.

1. A big help, recommended - I just finished writing out flash cards as recommended by the author. I also wrote out a card for each example sentence. So now I have a HUGE bundle of flash cards & the challenge will be to STUDY them. I really liked this book & it helped me. You should memorize Hiragana & Katakana first. (I made myself an awesome chart). That way, you can focus on the vocabulary & sentences in this book. I think the process of converting Romaji to Hiragana gets your brain working in that mode. Is there a Vol ? I couldn't find it.

1. It doesnt work! - I download the book, tried to open on ibooks and it opened once, after that whenever I try to open the book it shows a message "paused". I think the only way to make it work again would be connect to iTunes, delete the book and them transfer the book again. I wish I could have my money back! Please fix this!

1. Did the publishers bother to proofread this book … ?!?!?!? - I am amazed at how many gramatical and numerical mistakes there are in this book!!! Sometimes they put the wrong graph twice in the place where a different graph should be. Or they mistakenly put the same symbol for both parallel and perpendicular lines. Also, there are several times that one line has a certain number, and the very next line or a few lines down shows a different number and it’s clear that it is simply a typo. I can’t really explain it other than that without listing exactly which pages have these errors. Additionally, the order of some of the chapters seems weird. The book repeatedly gets ahead of itself and expects you to understand and apply concepts from material that isn’t even covered until later chapters. Overall, in my opinion, I am very disappointed that I bought this book rather than a different CLEP test book. I think it has helped me to study and prepare, but I still can’t get over the fact that there are NUMEROUS gramatical / numerical errors or misprints in this book. How is someone supposed to use this book to study!?!?!?
