1. Finding Love in Paradise - I loved reading Escape to the Sun by Elena Aitken, the second book in her Destination Paradise series. Ms. Aitken truly knows how to create a wonderful story between two people with one needing to figure out who she really is and the other learning to trust that he can is capable of loving another. Heather Holt travels to the remote archipelago Bocas del Toro, Panama to manage a secluded bed and breakfast. Casa del Sol is in the middle of paradise which is exactly what she needs after divorcing her cheating husband and getting a fresh start on life. Ash Anderson has spent the last few years escaping his past and living where no one know him. He is a player, not ready for a relationship. When these two meet, work together, and flirt, the sparks fly and it is fortunate the jungle surrounding Casa del Sol weren’t set afire. I love the way Ms. Aitken taught both of them that love can actually heal a person in addition to setting them free from their past. This was a fun and entertaining story with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, authentic and complex. I highly recommend this book to all readers. I truly enjoyed this book and had trouble putting it down. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. Although this book is part of a series it is a standalone story. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

2. Excellent! - Where to begin to express the feelings I felt in Elena’s second book in Destination Paradise. Elena wrote a beautiful story that is set in a beautiful place. The description of Casa del Sol was amazing! I felt like I was right there with Heather and Ash in paradise. They both had their heart broken and were hiding out at Casa del Sol to overcome the heartache they endured. It was a small Bed & Breakfast owned by a very wise woman named Sherri. Ash had been there several years helping out when Sherri hires Heather to run the place for her. They were thrown together so much it became hard to hide their feelings for each other. It's so hard for me to write more without giving away too much. This book is full of love, excitement and beauty. Makes me want to book a trip to Panama right now! Excellent series Elena!

3. Paradise!! - The second book in this series seriously has me ready to book a trip to Panama ASAP. Heather was introduced in Shelter by the Sea. I have to admit, I didn't think I would like her very much based on the little bit that was described about her in book one but I was mostly proven wrong about her. My only wish for Heather's book is that it would have touched on some of the things that she did in book one, instead of only focusing on her ex's actions. What I absolutely loved about this book is the optimism that is found at this out of the way B&B, a place that you find exactly when you need it. Heather and Ash both have a ton of baggage but with the help of Sherri, the B&B owner, they begin to live and leave their baggage in the past where it belongs. I'm definitely looking forward to the third book in this series. I can't wait to return to this paradise!! This is my voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy

4. Love in Paradise - This is the second book in this series. The love story of Ash & Heather was a very beautiful story of two very broken people that meet & form an instant chemistry. The story evolves around both individuals who question their attraction to each other, while managing the Paradise resort. This is a very intriguing story of heartbreak & love. The addition of Sherri, that owns the resort, plays into their lives, plus focuses their hunt for true love once again. I loved this book & it makes you want to visit it & see what can happen there. I volunteered to review the ARC copy for an honest review. I had already preordered the book, so I can read it many more times. Can't wait for the next adventure in Paradise!

1. Too much drama - I enjoyed book one but when I got to book two, I skipped through most of it…too much of the same argument over and over again. Krystina’s character was very immature and irritating. I like some drama but this was way too much of it for me…I wouldn’t waste money on the rest of series because I feel like it will be the same irritating conversations all over again. Otherwise I like the authors writing and enjoyed book one.

2. “Everyday needs to begin and end with you” - This series keeps getting better! I am in love with Alexander’s character. For a man with such a dark past and dark tendencies, deep down he is loving and tender. The heartbreak he experiences at the beginning of this book from his break up with Krystina and how hard he works to win her back are incredible pieces to his character! In book two, Alexander’s and Krystina’s difficult pasts both make a reappearance in a way that you won’t expect. There will also be a fallout that you won’t see coming! This book will make you happy, sad, and every thing in between. There is also plenty of steam between Alexander and Krystina. These two are hot together! The ending of this book was perfection! It makes me wonder what will come in book ! There are still plenty of unanswered questions to explore! I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

1. Sweet story but a bit of a nail-biter - A Convenient Christmas Proposal by author C.J. Carmichael is book two of The Shannon Sisters series. While this book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend you read book , A Cowboy's Proposal prior, for a more thorough reading experience. I have read many of this author's works and have enjoyed them all. In particular, I love the Christmas ambiance of the small Montana town of Whitefish. Mick and Kelly..... Kelly is a police officer for their hometown. She takes her job seriously and she is standardly a by-the-book officer. One night. while on duty, Kelly is following up on a call about a possible DUI. Before she even has the chance to make her presence known by flashing her lights and turning on her siren, the driver speeds up and looses control of his car and crashes. Danny, who I met in book one was killed instantly. While Danny hasn't been an upstanding citizen, Kelly is heartbroken. You see, Danny leaves behind an older brother, wife and two adorable small children. I'm going to say that for me, Billy and Mandy, were the story. It was their well-being that kept me fully engaged and nail biting at times. Mick is heartbroken about losing his brother the way he did. However, because of Danny's lifestyle and choices, Mick wasn't surprised. Though he is grieving, his first priority is taking care of Danny's family; especially his adorable niece and nephew. Unfortunately, Mick's sister-in-law has her own issues of drug abuse and her first priority is not her children. I won't go into details as there is a bit of suspense to the story and I wouldn't want to ruin that aspect for you. To sum this book up, A Convenient Christmas Proposal is emotional and sad at times. But there is hope and healing. Mick and Kelly get off to a slow start and that is just how it should have been given the circumstances. I enjoyed catching up with characters from book one and there is even a pleasant surprise for the Shannon sisters that I didn't see coming. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I think that one will be the most emotional of the three. This is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it.

2. Christmas through the eyes of a child - Do not let the title fool you, I will say I thought I had it all figured out and this book was going to be so predictable, I was quite wrong. This book was a really cute story yes a tough subject to discuss when it involves children but so worth the read. I loved that Mick was willing to take up for his younger brother and loves his niece and nephew like his own children. I loved Kelly and her big heart and even though she skeptical she's is willing to give people a chance to prove her wrong or right why still doing the right thing. Over all this was a really good story I love reading or seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child it really does give you a different perspective. I received a complimentary copy of this book. 3. Definitely recommend - I adored this book so much I sat and read it all the way through. The characters were perfect, Mick a loving and devoted uncle, two kids who have suffered great tragedy and lived a difficult life and Kelly a cop who wears her heart on her sleeve and has so much love to offer. The story has a bit of intense drama and suspense leaving you rapidly going through the pages to see if everything turns out okay yet also is loaded with the feel good of the Christmas season. Would definitely recommend this book.

1. Great fake relationship romance - This is the sixth book in the Rocky Mountain Riders series, but can be read as a stand-alone book. Darla Michaels is a widow who is approach the ten year anniversary of her husband’s death. When her friends cafe is burned down, she decides that the community needs to work together to help them out. She enlists her friends with benefits, Ty Forrester, to raise money for them. Darla wants to have a bachelor auction with Ty and his fellow Rodeo stars, and Ty’s brother Rhett, who is in the NFL. Problem is Ty is tired of living in his brother’s shadow and he lied to his parents about why he couldn’t go home for Christmas. He told them he was engaged to Darla. Of course, this sets up the fake engagement so Rhett and the rest of the family will get behind the auction. Ty and Darla are an engaging couple. Ty is a great guy who has some Cain and Abel issues with his brother. Darla has put up some serious walls to protect her heart from the hurt she suffered from her husband’s death. Watching them work through their issues towards their happily ever after was well worth it. I have never read any book by this author, but this book makes me want to read the rest of this series. 3. The Doctor’s Christmas Proposal - This was a great book. The characters were fascinating to read. Friends for years until one night of devastation to Wyatt. He goes to her as needing a friend. One thing leads to another and they end up sleeping together. After that night, she becomes pregnant and he moved back to Montana. She unfortunately has a miscarriage. Since there is no longer a baby and he hasn't contacted her but twice in months, she figures he regrets that night and doesn't tell him. Wyatt does invite her to Montana after many months have passed. The rest of the story you will need to read. It was a complex plot. Some people believe that not telling someone something is a lie by omission, others do not. It is a question up for debate. The Gallagher family appear in the story and two of the brothers had prior stories and their continued stories are highlighted here. Do you need to read them to understand this story, no. I haven't but I will now. This story was written in my favorite dual POV. Getting in the mind and seeing the character's thoughts and feeling, is important especially in this story. You can really understand both sides here and see where the angst is coming from. Yes, there are both swearing and sex scenes. Are they necessarily, well as far I can tell a lot of people swear. As for the sex scenes, there were a few but this book isn't erotica by any means. It is just the continual and growing relationship between these two people.

It also has a friends to lovers theme. Dr. Wyatt Gallagher returns to Marietta after being duped by a woman he was dating. It isn’t until he has moved away that he realizes how important Mia Watson is to him. He wants more than just a friendship with her. Wyatt convinces Mia to come to Marietta for the Christmas holidays. Mia has loved Wyatt for a long time but knew she was nothing more than a friend to him. That is until one unforgettable night when comfort turns into passion. Then Wyatt moved back home, leaving Mia to deal with an unexpected consequence of that night as well as the heartbreak that follows. When Wyatt finds out about Mia’s omission, he wonders if he can trust her. Will Mia be able to forgive herself and prove to Wyatt that she is worthy of his trust? 7. Wonderful - This was a wonderful holiday read. I love going back to Marietta for the holidays and this book was a great way to go there. Wyatt Gallagher and Mia Watson have been friends for a very long time. When Wyatt's relationship with his ex fiance comes crashing down he finds consolation with Mia and an incredible night of passion. After that night he returns home leaving Mia alone and confused. Now months later Wyatt is asking for Mia's help to get him through his brothers wedding and the impending birth of his other brother's child. Is that his only motivation for wanting Mia around?? 8. The Doctor's Christmas Proposal - Eve has given us a good quick story line. I read this in a day. It may read as a short book but there are a lot of spoilers in it. Mia is in Denver where she paints her art and she's still trying to forget her past. Wyatt is a doctor. He is Mia's best friend and he calls her to help him to forget his past. Sound Familiar? Wyatt moved from Denver back to Marietta. She comes as she has something to tell him. Spoiler. She blames herself and he blames her. It is Christmas time and she drives back to Denver in a bad blizzard. Yep, he follows her. He can't find her but he takes in a family, father, mother, kids and a half grown slobby dog. They stop at a motel and Wyatt has to sleep on a couch. Spoiler. They catch up and talk it all out. There is a lot of action. They have quite a few spoilers. I really enjoyed this book. I have liked every book I have of Eve's. I would tell you to read this story. Check this one out and enjoy your reading. You won't regret it! I have volunteered to read and review this book.

1. Under the Mistletoe - I received a complimentary copy of this book and I also purchased a copy. This was a delightful story. The characters were wonderful and the story was well written. I adored seeing prior characters making appearances. Georgie Durant moves to Last Stand, Texas after her last boyfriend and fellow paramedic didn't want to move the relationship forward. He didn't want to commit. After being together years, Georgie figured it was time to at least move in together. The boyfriend didn't want to move forward so she broke up with him. Not being able to work with him, she gets a job at the fire department in Last Stand. After being in town for a week, she goes to a Christmas party with some co-workers. It is there that she runs into Spencer McBride, a fellow firefighter/paramedic under the mistletoe. The rest of the road to Spencer and Georgie's HEA was one that was beautifully done. I so loved reading the story from the dual POV format. Seeing into Georgie's thoughts and how she felt about her last relationship (especially since it was guiding her present relationship with Spencer) was a wonderful thing. There was a sexy read so I would only highly recommend this story to someone over the age of . If you love a firefighter/paramedic romance, then you need to read this one. While this is a part of a series, this book can be read as a stand-alone.

2. Fun in the sun - This third book in this series reads as a complete standalone. There’s not much overlap with the first two books other than location. I loved this behind the scenes look at the movie industry and watching these two fall in love. Because it’s Hollywood so of course there’s drama and I couldn’t wait to see how everything was going to turn out. This was such a fun read.

4. Fantastic read - For the third book in the Destination Paradise series, we get the story of hot, action star, Dean Harrison and newcomer, Phoebe Flynn. If you’re looking for secrets, steam, backstabbing coworkers and supposedly friends, and fun in the sun, you will not be disappointed with this beautifully written story. Dean has always dated his costar and he’s looking to change that. That is, until he meets Phoebe. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say if you want to get away for a few hours, then you need to read this book that will make laugh, smile, cheer, and maybe even shed a tear or two. 1. allthefeels - I cried and laughed and cried some more. This story is everything! I loved checking in with our favorite Braden family and learning about all the updates in everyone’s lives and of course getting caught up in their excitement. From Little Hal and the pajamas, to the movie, and Hope at the end, this couldn’t have been better. What a perfect Christmas present Melissa Foster has given us in this book. I listened to this book as an audiobook narrated by Lance Greenfield. He is a newer narrator to me. 3. Heartwarming Braden Holiday - I absolutely adored this short story and spending Christmas Eve with the Braden family who started it all. I loved catching up with some of my favorite couples! I love that they keep the big Christmas Eve sleepover alive no matter how many of them their are. It’s so special for Hal, his children all the grandchildren to continue something their mom held so dear! It was great to see how parenting has changed, or not changed in this case, the incredible love and devotion all of these wonderful couples have for each other, their children and their whole crazy, wonderful family. I laughed, I swooned and I cried. It was perfect!

1. A sweet holiday story - This is such a sweet story for the holidays. I have not read any of the previous Blizzard books, but I enjoyed this story. It's about family, both biological and chosen. I thought, with the title, the blizzard would play a bigger role in the story, but it was just a blip on the radar. Watching Dani deal with new motherhood, missing her usual routine and a surly six year old was truly amazing. She has way more patience than anyone I know. I would love to see another story with this family in a couple of years to see where they are and what they are up to (hint, hint Kat Mizera).

1. Good - I liked the story. The emotional swings that Julia goes through is heartbreaking. After losing her husband and toddler in a car crash, Julia believes that she is strong enough to spend the holidays with her in-laws and friends in Shadow Creek. New feelings emerge, what ifs bubble to the surface and the longing to be back in the small town make the holidays very difficult for her. The characters of this Montana town are protective, supportive and understanding. They are real people who take care of their own. It is a warm and charming Christmas story that brings peace to the past and new beginnings for the main characters.

2. An amazing story! - What a fantastic story. I was enthralled right from the very emotional beginning. The plot of the book was very well written. The story just flowed through my mind just like a movie. Maggie (Chase's daughter) was an enchanting little one. I just wanted to hug her. Chase was a perfect male hero. His is strong and understanding and just so yummy!!! He has been in love with Julia since the first time he saw her in high school. Julia was a beautiful but wounded soul who marries another man (Chase's friend). After tragedy strikes, Julia moves away for five years. She comes back at Christmas time to spend a month before going back to Chicago. Chase only has a few weeks to help Julia see that she needs to stay in Shadow Creek with him and Maggie. With Chase's patience and love, it was wonderful to see Julia overcome her tragic past and move on. Make sure you have some tissues handy. There are a couple of scenes that may make you tear up. This book has my favorite dual POV. That look into what the character is thinking and feeling at the moment really helps me to understand their actions. I highly recommend this book. It will draw you into the wonderful town of Shadow Creek. You will want to move there (at least I do!!)

3. A beautiful Christmas story - Julia has been gone from Shadow Creek, Montana for five years. She returns for the first time, since she buried her husband and son, to visit her in-laws for the holidays. This is an emotional read that will have you flipping the pages to see what she learned after Michael’s death and to see if she is able to have a relationship with Chase, the hot sheriff. It's been five years and Julia is back in Shadow Creek for the holidays. Julia still has unresolved issues from the past plus a secret about her late husband. Chase has always loved Julia but since she ended up with his best friend had kept quiet about his feelings. It's been fives since her husband's death and since Chase has seen her. Chase was determined to not let her get away this time. I could feel the chemistry and attraction between Chase and Julia. They seem so right for each other. The problem is Julia doesn't know if she can put herself in the position to be hurt again. Chase even though he loves Julia his daughter is his top priority. Will Chase and Julia take a chance on love? Chase and Julia have a lot of emotional baggage to work through in order to find their happily ever after. This was an emotional love story. At times you may cry, laugh, or want to knock some sense into Julia and Chase. I enjoyed this sweet and heartwarming romance. I also loved Chase's daughter, Maggie. 6. Loved it - Loved this book!! It's a wonderful small town romance with characters that will grip you by the heart. Julia Bradley has suffered heartache that most people can never imagine. She not only lost her husband in an accident but her young son as well. Unable to stay in the small town they had lived in she fled far and fast.She returns to her hometown after years to spend the holidays with her family. While there she sees Chase Donovan again. Chase has loved Julia for as long as he can remember. When she married his best friend he tried to move even marrying himself but one look at her again and he knows he's only been fooling himself. While in Shadow Creek Julia and Chase spend some time together along with Chase's adorable daughter Maggie. The relationship between father and daughter is wonderful and being with these two may be exactly what Julia's heart needs to heal and move forward. You don't want to miss this incredible heart touching and uplifting story. I highly recommend it.

7. Christmas with the Sheriff - I chose this book to read because Victoria is a new author for me. I wanted to check her out and I am glad I did. This is a confusing start but it turns out at the end. Five years ago Julia had to bury her husband and son from a car accident. Major Spoiler. Julia had run away and decided to come home for a visit for Christmas. Chase meets her again. She meets his daughter Maggie who would be Matthew's age. Chase is the Sheriff and that scares Julia. Chase has loved her forever and now Julia buries her life away. This shows how things come together. Shh and how the next book will come! I will tell you that you will need a lot of tissues. I fell right into this story. It went right into my heart. I would recommend this book to everyone. It is a good clean story. Please check this book out to read it. Enjoy your reading! 1. Amazing read - Love the story line. I just started reading it today and couldn’t put it down. I’ve read a lot of stories that have to do with MC and they shuffle between a lot of the character’s point of view and is hard to fallow the story at times. But this was well written and easy to fallow and every chapter ending the way they did made me want to see what happened next. Perfectly written in my opinion.

1. The Christmas Window - Nice Christmas Story - Unless you’ve “walked in someone else’s shoes” words meant to be helpful can be misinterpreted as condescending. Brandt and Callie misjudged each other in a similar situation and as they started to open themselves to one another they found a connection worth cultivating. This book is filled with love, family, friendship and the feelings of Christmas leading to a HEA ending. It’s worth a read in my opinion.

2. Christmas Romance - The Christmas Window by Melissa McClone. This is Callie Andrews and Brandt Winslow’s story. I love the cover which is what drew me to this book. This is for anyone that loves sweet Christmas romances especially ones with a meddling aunt. Silver Falls is a great small town. It was fun watching Brandt and Callie’s relationship develop.

1. A sweet Christmas treat from the Greene family - What a beautiful way to say "goodbye" to the Greene family...or at least their series of books. If you're familiar with the writing team of Piper Rayne, you know that readers are gifted glimpses of beloved characters in other books, even crossing series lines. In fact, there will soon be a Greene getting his own book with a certain longtime "friend only" that we see in this book. I for one cannot wait! But seeing all the Greene siblings grown up...and with lots and lots of kids of their own, it's hard not to be nostalgic. They each get a turn to narrate the story, but it's Grandma Ethel, who's still kicking, and matriarch Marla who had me tearing up. Perfect for anytime of the year, but especially Christmas, this book was the perfect way to say see ya later to the original Greene kids!

2. Nice end to the Greene series - This is a great novella that finishes up the Greene family series. It was fun catching up with all of the characters and to see where all of them are twelve years after the last book. We also get a sneak peak at the next series that will start with a Greene/Bailey crossover. I’m sad that the series is over, but cannot wait to read Calista Bailey and Rylan Greene’s book! I was given an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.

1. Have they found something that lasts? - Wild and Wicked is the fourth book in the Italian Stallions series, but could be read as a stand alone. Gianna has been broken up with her long time boyfriend for a few months when she goes to her best friend’s cabin to clear her brain. Elio has only know hockey his whole life, but now he’s thinking of what might come next, so he goes to his family’s cabin, surprised to find Gianna. They can’t deny the chemistry between them, but when the snow melts and they return to real life, will they have found something that lasts, or was this just a fling? Oh man, I adored this book! I honestly thought this book was going to go in one direction where their time in the cabin is a fast blur, but that wasn’t this book at all. I loved that we got to spend so much time with Gianna and Elio, to explore their dreams and desires and what they want out of their future. Gianna is so sweet and I loved her desire to explore new experiences with someone experienced. It was exciting that she always had a plan, because I do too, but I also loved Elio’s influence on her. He is one that tends to go with the flow, to give his love (hockey) his whole focus, but I had to giggle when she influenced him with her weekly dinner lists, too! So cute! I loved their connection that formed so quickly at the perfect time. I loved their vulnerabilities that they were willing to share with each other. And I really loved that the drama and angst level in this book was pretty minimal. Elio was pretty swoon worthy, and Gianna was his perfect match. I loved them! I am loving this series! I am so excited for more!

Mari Carr writes these two people at a crossroads in a warm and compelling way, and the way they come to connect is fiery and fascinating. It’s pure pleasure to see them tangle with their own needs and desires, and of course, with each other. Wild and Wicked is a stellar surprise pregnancy, snowed in, big family story that is delicious from start to finish. Can’t wait for more in this series!

3. Elio and Gianna were perfect together - This Italian Stallions series keeps getting better and better! Elio and Gianna are absolutely my favorite couple of the series, as well as one of my favorite pairings from Mari Carr in general...and I think I've read almost all her books. Stranded with one bed isn't my favorite trope, to be honest. Maybe because it's often those enemies/frenemies that are stuck together; again, not always a fav. But Elio and Gianna not only have a friends and family connection, but they are already friendly. Especially after that mistletoe kiss! that was HAWT! And while the smexy parts were, you know...super smexy, I adored the fun and laughter they had together. The connection this list making, slightly tightly-wound heroine has with the recovering-from-an-injury pro hockey player. They were both such likable characters with seemingly nothing in common, but them mesh in the best way possible. To me, that's what makes a great story, and Ms. Carr gave us readers that in spades! While I recommend the series as a whole, Wild and Wicked will remain my favorite for all the reasons I listed above, plus it kept a smile on my face from beginning to end.

I’m reading the digital version and I read in another review the hardback book is just as bad! Ms.Thayne should be looking for new editors-the editors on this have failed miserably.
