1. Great read- once you get past the “f-bombs” - Being one of Christian faith, I was not sure I wanted to read this one. I am glad I did. It was a great book with wisdom and historical relevance to his point. I am grateful I didn’t allow all of the “f bombs” to influence my decision. A must read!

2. Eye opening at the very least - I recently fell into pretty bad anxiety attacks about how I’m not doing enough or how I don’t have friends and all that, and after reading this book it really helped me put my life and future into a more stable perspective. I don’t want to spoil just in case anyone does want to read it (fantastic btw) but it’s definitely an eye opening experience and at the very least made me question some things about the myself

3. A great book about values - This book is very great in teaching what is truly important in life and what not to give a f about. This book really go into detail on all the key values and give amazing examples too. Definitely recommend if you feel like you struggle with finding something worth giving a f about or you think you care about too many things!!

4. Interesting viewpoint - An interesting read and take on how one might deal with day to day challenges that life brings. While most of the content is obvious, sometimes we forget to remind ourselves of how silly humans, including myself, truly are. Life’s a journey and it’s not about the end game. The path along the way is what we should treasure.

5. Positive Perspective of life and death - This book has truly given me a different insight of both life and death by appreciating both and realizing that one must have a full understanding of death in order to fully live with no guilt and minimal stress. This book also highlights the importance of challenges and being able to overcome those challenges without expecting others to help you.

6. LOVED every page of this - I’m in my late twenties, feel like I’m letting the days pass me by.. I felt it was destined for me to read this as it continued to pop up on my recommended list. I’m so glad I read this, I understand myself a little more, and am willing to ask the hard questions. We are worth investing in ourselves. This book was fantastic, would highly recommend!

7. Life changing. - I have read this book for the rd time since I’ve gotten it a year and a half ago. Every time it has given me something else to learn and take in. Never disappoints. I have recommended this to every person I talk to every time I have a chance. The author is very blunt and makes you feel like he’s the friend you need in life who is giving you advice about life. I have now bought the audio and it’s that much better and funnier. I encourage you to read this if you are serious about putting in change into your life without any excuses because this will teach you to take responsibility for your actions and how to react or not react to things. Please read! Take many notes!

8. An affirmation to your own greatness - This book affirms you while confronting you raw and bare like an old friend you barely knew from that one mmorpg, or from the alcohol binge party you used to rage at without fear of honesty. Excellent for truth seekers confronting themselves, about what they care for too much and too little. Looking forward to reading this again.

2. Great Insights, lacked some intersectionality - I am not typically a fan of self help books, but I found this one refreshing and appreciated many of the insights Wiest lays out. Left the book feeling inspired and empowered. I did notice however there was a lack of depth surrounding how different backgrounds and abilities may experience life’s difficulties. I as a biracial middle class woman was able to identify with a lot of what Wiest mentions however I was left wondering how other identities may feel as they read this.

3. perfect timing - I’m going through a break up, one that I caused with my mental health. Unfortunately, I deal with trauma. I live in constant fight or flight in relationships. I’m currently doing DBT and this book reminds me of so much of it. I highly suggest this book, it was eye opening. It made me cry in the end, but it also gave me hope and drive to continue to do the inner work.

4. Life Changing - This book helped me see things I thought were so out of my control. It’s eye opening and a deep dive in your emotions. Expect to release a lot of unresolved, buried feelings. But mostly importantly, be open to being wrong and question every bad thing you ever thought. Reality is not really what our brain tells us.

5. I am forever changed - Brianna, thank you so much. This book is transformative. I am forever committed to. The work of conquer and appreciating my mountains because of the truth filled in this book. The book aligns with everything my therapist and I have been working through recently. I am so blown away. Amazing work. I would love to meet you one day

6. BUY THIS BOOK NOWWWW! - This was an incredible read for me. It provoked so many thoughts within myself and conversations with those around me about how we, as people, think and self sabotage. I HIGHLY recommend you buy this and then buy copies for friends and family. It’s my new favorite book and I’ll be reading this a few more times!
2022-01-26
7. Literally needs a better editor - The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is the editing. I literally cannot believe any editor let an author use literally so many times. Other than that, this book helped me recognize some of my self-sabotaging behaviors. I also like that Wiest provides solutions to problems. Many books provide ample reasons of why we do thing without providing the how to fix them. I look forward to reading more of her books while plowing through this phase of my life.
2021-12-15
8. Not a lot of depth - Brianna is far more evolved than I was at , and I look forward to what she does next. However, her examples in this book tend to be overly simplistic and shallow. She does not back up her findings with studies to show why they are valid, and the reader is supposed to just take her findings as fact. I’ve liked her other work, but found this offering lacking. I think if you are under you’ll find this book as useful information. If you’re over , you’ll be left thinking “You need to have more life experience because I guarantee you, you’ll feel differently about this in years.”
2021-11-01
9. I think my life just changed. - Reading this book has opened my eyes to so many of the things inside of myself that I was unaware of. Irresponsibilities, codependencies, habits and patterns that I am capable of changing and growing from. Realizing that I’ve been blaming everyone instead of myself for my lot in life and the path that I’m on has given me freedom unspeakable. I’m in charge of my life. And the difficult years I’ve gone through were simply trying to tell me something was wrong. I’m so grateful to this book and to my therapists and all the other research I’ve done in order to become more self aware. Without it I don’t think I would understand so clearly the power I have to make and create change in the world. Read this book and you won’t be able to avoid a life changing experience of your own. Guaranteed.

1. Sloppy Production. D- Work. - This product is miserably proofread, if it was proofread at all. Some paragraphs, especially the indented paragraphs, will have so many misspellings that a reader has to pause to figure out what is intended. One has to wonder how a publisher can be so sloppy & invest so little, & still expect the consumer to pay top dollar.
2023-02-04
2. Mesmerizing. Couldn’t put it down. - The quirks, twists and surprises kept me reading this book. Factual, yet cunning and insightful. If you want to manipulate manipulative people or entice people to do what you want, I’d say read this book. I thoroughly enjoy each excerpt of historical situations used to reveal different messages and a new lesson upon turning each page.

3. Jedi mind trick - A Sith Lord’s handbook on use of the dark side of the force. No, the dark side is not stronger than the light. Master Yoda once said “Quicker, easier, more seductive, but not stronger.” You’ll damage your body/soul without a doubt if you live by these laws. Remember the high ground and the inevitable fate of Vader.

4. Before you read this book... - You must know that you should not compare this book when it comes to having power in real life scenarios. this book is mostly only fitting for work places/corporate. for example, for those out there who works at a really good job where you have a CEO and you want to be on the CEOs level. or for example if you are working in anything as big as a mayor and you want to know how to be able to say the right things this is perfect.

5. ???? - ..... Like law . I don't like to talk much .... But I feel as a sensei I must share this information with you all ..... This book will transform you mentally & spiritually , while causing you to evolve into a complete different being . . Your power will increase ten fold ..... There is allot of other abilities this book grants an individual, but I'm forbidden to speak on ...

6. This book is okay, I guess... - While several of the laws can be used today I suppose, I found many of the laws to metaphorically be outdated. Then at the end of every chapter, which was probably - more pages than it should be, the author spent two paragraphs to 'debunk' the respective law itself - thus making all chapters contradictory at best. Probably won't be re-reading the entire book, but may come back to a couple of the chapters that seemed relevant.

7. Ebook full of errors, unreadable - This book itself is easily a -star read. Unfortunately, the iBooks digital version is a mess. What starts as a few confusing typost quickly gives way to bizarre formatting errors. At one point, sentences from two separate parts of a chapter are mixed up on after another, requiring decoding to read. In another place, half a chapter is simply missing and the next chapter begins as if it were over. (Perhaps the over half of that chapter is floating around somewhere else in the book; I’m not far enough along to know it yet.) Even in areas without these egregious mixups, there are frequent typos that make me think the ebook was scanned from a paper copy. Reviews indicate others have noticed these same errors; save your money and get a hard copy instead.

8. Awesome book! - This book is a little boring but really really good. It has you thinking and reflecting on your position in life at work relationships and how you have handled things in the past. Love it (crazy thing is my brother told me to read this and he's in pension and his gang makes everyone of their "soldiers" read this book" lol. Anyways read this book

1. Back To Happy :) - I am always on a search for the next best self help book and Getting Back To Happy, is exactly what I’ve been looking for!!! This book is deep, but an easy read, which is a must for me. This book just hits home and sometimes it hits home deep. As I was reading the other night I thought “oh wow, that’s what I’m doing with something in my life.” With that being said this is something very positive, but it was the result of a very difficult time of my life. I realized as I read this section of the book, it was good to recognize this and will keep me in check and in a positive place as I continue on this journey.

1. Great book - I bought this book when I was and never got to it currently and I am so glad I opened it and read it gives me so much clarity helped open my mind and see things from a very different perspective. Obligated me to sit with myself and come to realization the only person responsible for my happiness will always just be me the way others see me should never affect my judgment of myself and my persona helped me understand to not take things personal and everything around me can change when I change the way I think and the words I say

2. Worth reading, taken with a grain of salt. - This book presents a unique perspective on the human condition, and how to deal with it. Overall, I appreciate the message of a way to live in love and freedom. The author, at times, tends to exceed the bounds of reality a bit too much for me. For instance, I do not think that believing you will get cancer will actually cause cancer. In fact, believing you might get cancer may prompt you to avoid things that really do cause cancer. Other than that, good story!

3. Powerful!! - For only being my second book ever fully reading. I can’t believe how much I learned about life and myself. This book has helped me grow and expand my mind into a new way of life, a life of happiness and love. I will reread this book anytime I’m having any negativity running around in my head!

4. Perspective Changing - This book was the first self help book I had decided to pick up on my journey to self discovery. Not only is it a simple read (I finished it in under hrs), the perspective offered by Miguel Ruiz really set the tone to living a life of outside of the usual calamity and assisted me in developing an understanding to our connection to others and the universe. I’m currently in the process of reading the other books in this series. It was an amazing read overall and was very much insightful. Great job!

5. Must read - This book puts letting go of things you can’t control in a somewhat complex view. Just let go! I did however loved the way that he broke it down. This book will definitely benefit someone who has an open mind. Though I felt some of the explaining of the agreement was complex, I did understand everything the author was addressing

6. Eye Opener - This book was recommended to me from a close friend. I must say reading for pleasure has been and on and off thing for me but. This book changed my mind and honestly not trying to sound cheesy but my life as well. I am so glad I purchased this book and gave my all everyday to reading it piece by piece. The knowledge I have gained from this book will forever be with me. If you are ready to make a change in your life, or are going through a tough time, or just overall need a bit more clarity as to your purpose . This book is the greatest asset to your mind , body, soul and overall to your health.

7. Heretical, we are NOT a GOD, - This book states in a thin vail, that we are God, not true. It discuses basic Psychology principles, but wraps it in new terminology, and makes it more confusing, as if it were true. It is a shame that Peter Coyote was marketed to bring this into some kind of “acceptable story”. The wisdoms of past philosophers and recent psychology sound principles are the root of this book. There are no Toltec agreements, but a statement of accepted psychology principles. There aren’t any such documents from the Toltec era, and there are no scientific references, just the author’s story opinions. This has spurred a cottage new age industry in “self help” via Toltec values - that aren’t documented anywhere. It is heresy to say that we become a God like our God. A person is better off reading basic books on -“psychology ” and -philosophers from Greece and Rome, such as Epicurious, Socrates, -and the excellent book from Dr. David Burns “Feeling Good”, from Stanford University, -and a book titled: “You Can’t Afford the Luxury of a Negative Thought”.

1. Humbling. Eye opening. Comforting. - On a personal journey to heal - this book really helped me dive into how to start, validated a lot of feelings and thoughts within myself that are hard to even speak of in therapy. As I prepare for EMDR therapy I stumbled upon this title, and wil forever refer back to this as I complete trauma therapy to help imbed what to watch for in others, and myself.

2. Story of my life - This book is amazing! I’ve had so many issues that I’ve been fixing that don’t seem to come to an end. Once I found this book it all made sense. The author perfectly described many traits my parents have, how I’ve dealt with it and why it creates more issues for me down the line. She also provided easy and tangible ways to help you identify your parents patterns and heal from the trauma or caused. Finally I see a light at the end of the tunnel for improving my constant anxiety and worry that hinders me from living. I highly recommend this book for anyone. Even if someone doesn’t have the issues described in this book it’s also very eye opening about how other people react in different situations at work, school or anywhere else.

3. This book changed my world view - Not only did this book show me how to deal with my own emotionally immature loved ones, it also showed me how I am emotionally immature. We pick up communication from our parents. It makes sense that you’d also pick up their emotional immaturity. I started reading this book to deal with my relationship with my parents but it ended up showing me I can be a better person myself.

4. Good information, questionable structure - I loved the insights in this book and found the big-picture point-of-view to be a very helpful framing. The way she delineated personality characteristics often did not resonate for me and I found myself needing to take the ideas that worked for me and leave a lot of the structure behind.
The latter part of the book gets into practical advise and “solutions” which I liked but also wanted to add a parenthetical frequently (this paragraph’s advice could take years to work through, don’t give up!).
I still would recommend this book as a thought starter for self-reflection and reframing of our earliest and most influential relationships.

5. A breath of fresh air - This book felt like it lifted a big weight off my back I didn’t know I was carrying. I like that the book uses the term ‘Emotionally Immature’ parents rather than other labels. I felt like I could relate to every sentence in this book. I kept wanting to read on as I continually felt relief as I went. Aaaaah!

6. Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents - This book and its instruction is changing my life. I wish I had read it years ago. Mrs. Gibson is a gifted writer, and prolific teacher who captured each quality of emotionally immature people and families without resorting to cliches or platitudes. Freeing my true self from the grip of my Mother and of all my own “ideals” was the best gift I’ve ever received. Thank you!

1. For all trauma survivors - PERSONAL RATING DIRECTED AT TRAUMA SURVIVORS As a survivor who has only had issues during times of family drama brought on by either my parents or siblings, I thought I had the past taken care of years ago with therapy in my twenties. I was surprised when the darkness returned and again took control of my life in my mid-fifties, bringing all of its friends. In search for the how and the why of its return and new therapies to replace talk therapy, I purchased an almost useless mental health book, only useful in that it offhandedly mentioned The Body Keeps the Score, Dr. Van der Kolk’s medical studies, and unique therapies for trauma, PTSD, and the many comorbid disorders that accompany trauma. I was curious. I purchased the audio book and after two hours of listening, I purchased the book. After a day including two additional hours, I purchased my daughter the audiobook, and purchased the book for her husband (three deployments, two of which were in Afghanistan). I gave both of them trigger warnings, although I have had only “so that is why!” reactions. Dr. Van der Kolk has spent his life in complete curiosity surrounding PTSD, studying trauma causing PTSD and its lifelong effects on a person’s mind and body. He walks you step by step through different traumas and gives patients’ firsthand experiences of its effects. In the second section, he discusses different therapies, studies, with firsthand experiences from patients who have undergone various treatments. As he mentioned those treatment I began taking notes and looking for therapists who used some of the therapies. You don’t have to take notes if you have the book. He has every quote, study, or book he has mentioned or quoted text from broken down by chapters in Notes. The Notes section is after Resources and Further Reading and before Index at the back of the book. I have just begun the path to heal the trauma, and am hopeful it will be my last time dealing with “those” memories. I have become empowered with knowledge. I see the fifty-plus year old invisible trail of destruction that has lead, rarely trailing my life. Post-trauma years physical damage has included back, neck, and shoulder pain, migraines, abdominal issues, etc. The mental health alphabet includes Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, OCD, etc., which act as self protection, need to finally take a much needed rest. The Body Keeps the Score has taught me this. The trail is now visible, and I am making changes and asking for help to become whole and heal that inner child. She can now become a healthy part of me no longer needing her army, her only protectors early in life, but who never got the message telling them to stand down - the danger was gone.

2. Once Praised, Now Criticized (& Allegations Fly) - When I first read about C-PTSD, I read Dr. Judith Herman’s “Trauma and Recovery” (as she’d recognized and named the condition first, in , and published her book in ). I then read “The Body Keeps the Score” because of the buzz. What I found was that Dr. Herman’s work showed the history of PTSD, how she came to recognize this ‘new’ type of trauma, which parts of the brain were affected, and some ideas about how to treat it, depending on where the trauma came from. In , it was reprinted with current information, noting that not much had changed since . Another edition came out in . All three were called “the foundational text for understanding trauma survivors.” In , after two editions of “Trauma and Recovery” had come out and much research had been done on C-PTSD, Dr. Bessel van der Kolk published “The Body Keeps the Score.” His credentials were three decades of work with trauma survivors at his private office, the Trauma Center at JRI. No insurance was accepted there, so it was only available to the upper-middle-class and beyond. Though anyone can be repeatedly traumatized, it is less likely that people with more money experience it in many aspects of their lives on a regular basis throughout the majority of their lives. Note: his previous books, published in , , and focus solely on PTSD. TBKTS is the first to mention C-PTSD. I gave this book one star for the easier-to-understand descriptions of neurology and how trauma affects our brains and bodies on both an infinitesimal and a total-body scale. However, there it ended its usefulness to me and to most people living with C-PTSD. Dr. van der Kolk introduced various recovery methods, including EMDR, biofeedback, play, yoga, etc. As therapeutic devices, economic accessibility is low, though the treatments themselves may be extremely helpful. I have Medicaid that pays for every specialist and type of care I’ve ever needed. No one has ever referred me to these treatments — likely because they won’t take any insurance or they don’t want to deal with Medicaid. Either way, the lack of attention paid to the average person with C-PTSD was concerning. Several years later, I heard that much of his past was … questionable: he defended repressed memory theory; used psychomotor therapy, which is not widely practiced nor supported by clinical studies; discourages talk-therapy, which allows a trauma victim to tell and claim their story/stories and to have structured support while they do so until it’s mostly a normalized memory of an unfortunate event, rather than able to trigger and cause fear responses; was mentored by the infamous fraud, Bruno Bettleheim; was cagey when describing what records he had and had kept and to what degree of security relating to “Dissociation and the Fragmentary Nature of Traumatic Memories: Overview and Exploratory Study” which is published in the Journal of Traumatic Stress, Volume , Number , ; was ultimately kicked out of the Trauma Center by its parent org, the Justice Resource Institute, due to charges of creating a hostile work environment to women and then claimed the JRI did so to steal $. million in donations to the Trauma Center—long story short: he sued the JRI, they settled out of court, and he founded another trauma center with that money. Meanwhile, the original Trauma Center at JRI closed for good in . So while his book may have been useful, especially to those who never heard about Dr. Herman, whose shoulders Dr. van der Kolk stood on to make his mark nearly years later, some of his methods, the source of his tutelage, his inaccessibility to those who think/thought they needed him most, and being permanently barred from the JRI for creating a hostile work environment does not merit more than one star for an intelligent but simple explanation of trauma’s effects on the brain and body (not all of which are factual, but I’m done grandstanding). There are so many better books recommended below, including Herman’s. Please give them a chance. This man doesn’t need your attention or your money.

3. Actionable and insightful work on alleviating trauma - Incredibly insightful look into the human condition and the processes involved in creating, sustaining, and finally liberating one’s self from trauma. If you or anyone you know has experienced trauma (we all know someone whether we KNOW of their abuse or not) this book will help you to understand the behaviors, thought processes, and affects of abused and neglected individuals. It will give you the insight to be more compassionate not only to others but how to extend that compassion to one’s self. A critical component of healing. I cannot recommend this book more.

4. Absolutely incredible and informative - I have been through a lot of trauma and I cannot express how much clarity this book has given me. I found myself rereading a lot of pages, sharing them, and interpreting how this fits my life so well. I will be buying the actual book. I’ve talked about it nonstop. It’s incredible to see another perspective and science behind trauma. Mental health is so stigmatized. Trauma has a truly incapacitating effect on my life. I’m in awe of how educational and magnifying this book is.

5. The Body Keeps The Score - I thought this book was an excellent compilation of studies, experiences, and life stories. Different types of therapy work for different people. We’re not a “one type fits all” culture. The very nature of humanity is that we’re all different. We will all grow, learn, and change through different processes.

6. Horrifying, yet revelatory - This book makes it easier to understand how scientists created the atomic bomb. To believe a mother that lost two children in a car accident that was her fault should just put it behind her; to believe a -year old with a solution for / suicide he witnessed is insightful; to assert that a patient would mend better if they weren’t receiving disability pay they earned, all simply add up to one thing: you should spend more time with lab animals than humans.

7. Such a wealth of information! - I love this book. As a person of a very traumatic childhood. Abuse from dad, mom, grandparents on both sides, other family members and their friends. No where safe to run. Although a functioning person of society in my mid s I still live in a cage with my mind. I’ve been to a lot of counselors w/ small amounts of progress and have felt discouraged. After reading this book, it has given me lots of understanding of why I didn’t benefit much from traditional counseling. I’m very hopeful for the future! I’ve already began the process and see a lot of hopeful progress and look forward to living a life of freedom and being who I was created to be! Thank you Dr Bessel van der Kolk for caring enough to do what you do and for writing this book!

8. Truly scientific approach to mental health extremely informative - Thank you so much for your honest perspective Dr Vander Kolk! What a wonderfully informative explanation of your life’s work with Trauma. My wife and I are already benefiting she has had debilitating chronic health problems from family trauma but we see a light of hope.

9. Incredibly Informative - I can’t explain how this book tied so many things together. The neuroscience behind the theory. I can’t say that I am over the things that happened in my past. I can say that I don’t feel as isolated and I have a greater understanding of who I am and how i developed into the person I am today.

1. Great book - This book is a real eye and mind opener. It really will change the way you think in a good way. We need more books like these that allow us to develop in a way that we weren’t made aware of in childhood and school. I am a Christian so I switched a few universal things up in my head but this book will really alter you internally and subconsciously. It will help you see things for what they are rather than what we were taught they are as well as what the world/society has led us to believe. This is definitely a book I will be re-reading every single year. The world needs healing.

2. If I spent the time to write this review… - Try the sample. When life is messy, it helps me to return to really basic concepts. She just lays out information based on simple scientific truths, and it makes everything make sense. I skimmed the index at first and read two amazing essays and was hooked. Read it in ANY order you want! Some essays are so good they only need a single page to change your day. I try to read one per day! If youre reading slowly enough, its not repetitive and its not superficial. You have to really want to understand this book. Im not crazy, but Ive shared particular chapters with more than people and they have purchased the book soon after. They said they saw a change in me and asked why! Reading a chapter here and there has altered their perspectives in every social situation day to day. And mine! I used this book sort of like a daily devotional, not reading it in any order. I sometimes marked chapters that I know will come in handy one day, or mark one that would help a friend going through something. You need to read this slowly and digest each sentence, its not that convoluted- the writing is just succinct. Take your time with it, the language is actually very simple and matter of fact. You can take what you want and leave the rest, its not a bible or rulebook. Just try the sample, please try it.

4. Thought Provoking - It contains everything you already know to be true and that is its beauty. Simple truths. Whispers to your soul. Necessary words so artfully strewn together. This book took me on an amazing journey of self-reflection. I read it slowly. A chapter a day. Sometimes chapters a day. Either way you’ll get whatever you need from it.

1. Amazing read - Both of his books are motivating, inspiring. I will not see my failures as a reason to give up, but to keep trying until I make it. I’m a fat washed up nobody that has never finished anything in her life. But my goal is to be a strong fit woman and become a welder before . Thank you Goggins

1. Inspirational not motivational… what do you seek? - This book is not for everyone. Many who are looking for a motivational no nonsense self-help book would do better reading “Unf k Yourself.” It’s also very good, much shorter, and motivates you to action if you’re stuck in a rut. This book is far better however in my opinion. Those who give one or two stars find Peterson rambling and only touching on the point at the end of the chapter. This is of course true. However, that is why I find it among the best, if not the best, self-help book currently available. Rules of Life is not a motivational book. It is inspirational. Each chapter is not designed to explain the “rule” he posits in each chapter. Instead he talks around his thesis and lets you reach the conclusion on its own. It is done well, thematically, and with no shortage of insight. You will not relate to everything he says, but you will often find enough relatable to find a personal resonance to the message. Motivational self-help books are effective because you believe the author. Inspirational self-help books are effective because you believe yourself once you make the essential connection to the theme. This distinction cannot be understated. If you are one that tends to fall back into self-destructive habits, even after making massive successful changes to your life short-term - this book may be worth the read.

2. Great storyteller, speaker, and thinker! - This book was an amazing opportunity to look into the mind and work of Dr. Peterson who has been consulted by many organizations worldwide, as well as a profound clinical psychologist from what I’ve seen/been told. This book helps the reader to use ancient stories told, and shifts your perspective on those stories to point out the moral or the physiological impacts that may have been embed in the media and otherwise overlooked.

3. Wow - I'm at a loss of words to describe the awesomeness of this book. Extremely deep and complicated ideas throughout yet Jordan Peterson (the author) explains them in a graceful and simple manner. Not a book for the faint of heart or those inflexible to change. Thank you Jordan for sharing your reflections and rules through your book the world is closer to Heaven thanks to it.

4. A Familiar Face - There aren’t even enough words to express the beneficial factors this book illustrates. I will be reading this book to the day i die for it gives no excuses when i fall back on negative outlooks, their is always a way out and for better reason. It takes a lot to know this knowledge and not be better, for not being better would insight a neglect of consciousness. Reading this a second time will only solidify and expand the understanding of its material. The thrill of its revealing ability to concepts of common relatability is unmatched. I will be chewing on this for a very long time.

5. Read it - It’s worth the time and effort. So darn interesting. At times it was a little heady for this mere mortal, but push on because it all becomes clear by the time the chapter is done: The author is amazingly honest and he offers such good advice. He doesn’t try to please everyone; he speaks his truth with passion gleamed from hard experience. No matter if you agree or disagree with him, his points of view, and the instructions for a better more meaningful life, can’t/shouldn’t be ignored. Read it.

6. Good read - Jordan Peterson is a conservative intellectual- his voice and perspective must be heard. Not a conservative myself- I found the book interesting. The book is essentially advice for life to young people; something much deeper than what your High School teacher told you but with a conservative twist. Of course, as a conservative he seeks to establish rules and structures for people to follow- that makes sense from the conservative point of view. Some of his ideas seem little outdated/strange to me- chaos being feminine and order and culture masculine.

7. Incredible Book! - An incredible book that can be applied no matter who you are and where you are. Dr. Peterson is blunt and to the point; he doesn’t beat around the bush. This book broke down many toxic ideologies I had and helped me establish better ones. A must read if you’re open and willing to grow.

8. Truly enlightening. - I have not read many self help books but so far this one has truly resonated with me. It has changed my state of mind and how I move through my life. I do not agree with everything Jordan Peterson says but there is no doubting his knowledge and expertise in psychology and philosophy. Thank you for putting so much effort into this book.
2021-03-01
9. Thoughtprovoking and Truth-Revealing - This is a thoughtprovoking and truth-revealing read. Dr. Peterson is able to formulate thoughts in a manner that makes them understandable and digestable, while not letting you off easy either. Some of the things talked about are those things you already know, consciously or subcosciously, and finally are able to read them and make sense of them, as he himself acknowledges at the end: “I hope [this book] revealed things you knew that you did not know you knew.” I had multiple occations reading Rules For Life where I had to laugh to myself at the brilliance of Peterson’s ability to communicate thougthts and concepts I had previously tried to make sense of myself, and now finally read them, black on white, as clear as day. This book introduced me to new things as well. One of those is the Russian novelist and thinker Dostoevsky, as well as others, who Peterson discusses at some length, and with profound admiration. I will pick up my first Dostoevsky because of Peterson and this very book. Thank You for encouraging me to seek truth, to not lie, to stand strongly and take responsibilty for my life. Thank You also for inspiring me to read more.

1. Beautifully written, but took some willpower to get through. - This is a classic book that everyone should read at some point. If people were more interested in tangible things like money, we would have a lot less whining about “justice” and “inequality” and “police brutality.” There were passages that I shared, that I posted on my refrigerator for my staff to see, and that I am having engraved on accessories so that I may see them frequently. And then, there were entire chapters that truly tested my determination to finish everything that I start. I’m glad I made it through those, but be forewarned, this book gets really abstract at times, and definitely needs an edit so that young people, who have so much to learn from these classics, will be motivated to keep reading.

2. One of the best books out there - No matter your goal in life is this book is a must read if you want to reach your goal. Everyone should read this. 3. An African American Perspective - So, I’m a junior at Jackson State University. My friend group is BIG on self-sustainability. All my friends eventually want to run their own businesses or medical practices and other things in that nature. Books like these are in rotation often. We are trying to prosper. This book is a great book. Amazing read. Life changing. It is not to be read in one sitting. It’s not a fast read. You have to take notes as you go along through the principles. This book is full of knowledge. I love it. From the perspective of a year old African American woman hailing from the South Side of Chicago there are things in here that are delivered in a cut and dry manner that aren’t that way for us in reality. Self aware black readers will understand that parts of this book need to be tailored a tad to fit some of our circumstances. The plus side is it is easy to do such with this book. Some of the references to success are reaching; nevertheless they can be looked over or mentally replaced. I myself am not an entrepreneur per say. It’s not all about the money for me. I want to find the motivation to make it through medical school. This book can be easily applied and/or mentally altered to fit your lifestyle and goals. When I say mentally I mean when you think about applying these changes to your life. To conclude my review: I love this book. It’s full of motivational quotes to remember. It’s well written. You should take notes while you are reading. Read slow and take in all the information. Some this can be altered to better fit your life.

4. It's a ten - It's a ten if you can handle the writing style. My guess is most of the youngsters of today cant. Judging from my own kids it's not going to happen. Sorry Napoleon. My advice is read with patience and enjoy the treasures the book has to offer because no one in your day and age has one eighth of the gusto it took to write this. That my friends is a fact. Good luck. The secrets of the ages awaits you.

1. Superb, deep, incredibly insightful introspection on the act of creating, and the human experience - For any artist, or anyone who wishes to create art. I recommend this book over any other book I have read. I happen to know that it was developed over eight long years, after a lifetime of paying close attention, and it shows. To the author and his team.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to put into words these ideas and experiences which are so intangible. In doing so you’ve given people the ability to perceive regularly what can take years of vigilance to get a glimpse of. Reading this book I have sobbed many times, not because of any explicit sadness, but because this book touches on things that are found so far within the depths of our experience. You’ve managed to pierce into the depths of my soul, Rick! And remind me.. we are a vessel. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. May God bring blessings upon you and your family. 1. Pagination has been changed - The pages do not match up with the hard copy book. This makes it very hard to attend online Big Book meetings where some use this online edition and others use the hard copy. this ebook is fine if you just want to read the book, but if you want to be in discussion groups with others, you need the hard copy so everyone can be on the same page number. I bought this and am sorry. Will go find and acquire the hard copy version.

2. It Works if you Read it!!! :) - Im not too sure what I would do without my Big Book. The book here in the virtual library is the best thing since sliced bread, and well worth the $.. My only issue, and correct me if I am wrong, because if I’m not, I hope that this can be addressed. I take my iPad to my meetings and like all other AA’s, pages are always referenced. The pages in here do not correlate with the physical version (th addition). Am I just missing something?

2. Untethered Soul is a book to read twice a year. - I bless the day I heard of this book. It was prescribed by one of my mentors. I looked it up on iBook and I saw the price, I couldn’t buy it at the time, so I started by reading the sample and boom! I found myself buying the whole book. Before I read the Untethered Soul, I was a lost soul myself. I was living in depression, confusion, envy and anxiety (though I’ve sought medical help with the depression and I’m gradually getting better). It felt like there was a dark cloud over me which made me irritable at every point in time. Words can’t express my current state of mind. I no longer get overly agitated about things that are out of my control. I now fall back and allow events to happen without holding on to them. I know I’m going to be a pleasant surprise to myself by the time I’ve put to use all the insights and knowledge shared in this of book of social, emotional and mental healing. Thank you Michael Singer for this great Book! It’s all encompassing!

3. This book will change your life!! - Reading it for the second time and is still as enlightening as the first time. By far one of the best books I have read to this day. I have gained a deeper understating of myself and a level of awareness I did not know I could incorporate in my life. I can’t express just how fulfilled this book makes me feel. So much substance, a must read!

4. Transformative! - I am on my fourth read of this amazing book. The author provides an insightful and deeply thoughtful path the reader can follow to understand and achieve a self that can experience the now. The author takes the reader on an amazing path by carefully explaining how our minds and the experiences and expectations we create causes each of us to live in an ill-defined world of the past and the future. This book has been a transformative and at times painful experience to read. The book has enabled a new understanding of awareness and a discovery of new profound personal energy. This book has changed my life.

1. A Permanent Place on My Bookshelf - It’s hard to believe that after nearly a decade of being a psychotherapist this is my first time reading this book. And this is a book that I will not only personally read year-over-year however, one that I will encourage nearly all of my clients to read. For me, there was never a question about if there was value in my life, there was however, a question of how to go about finding that value. This book, its explanations and through Viktor’s experiences one can easily come to the conclusion about what needs to be done to find value in life and in the present moment. Please, pick up this book and read it. For all that you know, this book may literally help change your life.

2. Worthwhile read, but nothing you won’t find elsewhere - If you have read any self help literature you will find nothing new in this book. The book is interesting looking at it as the source of a lot of modern self help thinking. His description of his time in the concentration camps was a bit clinically detached. I appreciated this because I was not in a place to process a more emotional approach. The second half of the book was a dry discourse on his personal field of Logotherapy. I didn’t find it very approachable. I think it was a missed opportunity. I’m glad I read the book. It is a interesting snapshot of history.

3. Wonderful Surprise - I had heard that this was one of the most influential books ever written, so I bought it. But I put it aside for a long time, fearing the subject matter would simply be too dark and difficult to get through. I finally decided to commit to the experience, and I'm so glad I did! There was meaning and purpose behind every description of Dr. Frankl's experiences, which made it easier to stay in the story. And the wealth of wisdom, through hope, optimism, and determination, was life-changing. What a gift this man was, and still is, to everyone within reach of his books! I'm so glad I took this journey. I carry it with me as I step more confidently into my own search for meaning!

4. Why did I wait so long to read this book? - I had heard about this book from speakers and other authors many times but never got around to purchasing and reading the book until now. I wish I had read this book years ago. Don't skip the part where he talks about therapy. There is a lot of great advice that we can apply to our lives from that section of the book.

5. THE only book you will ever need for "life" - When I see all the psychology books for self help that how to help people deal with life's problems, I always think of this book. This is not just a story of a Man interred at a concentration camp during the Holocaust and stories of what occurred while he was there. It's much more. I read it years go in college in my freshman philosophy course and I got It. My year old son went through a terrible drug problem and I handed him this book. He read it in one night bs it turned his life around. Don't be blind. This is essential to your life's guiding principles.

1. Faith - Faith without works is dead. Ephesians :, NIV: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ John . Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God Chapter : by this the love of God was displayed in us in that God sent his only begotten son into the world so that we might live through him.

2. BEST BOOK IVE EVER READ - Not only is there an immense amount of knowledge in this book, but you are also able to learn how to use that knowledge! Dr. Joe Dispenza is an absolute genius and a life saver, I am so grateful that he wrote those book because it has not only changed my life but I’d assume countless others as well! Thank you Dr. Joe I am forever grateful!

3. LIFE CHANGING - First, I’d like to note that I am years old and this is the fifth book I’ve ever read beginning to end. I grew up with reading disabilities and very low reading comprehension. The people around me and teachers had me believing I wasn’t mentally capable of learning like my classmate counterparts. As for the book, I’ll be honest, it was a tough read for me, but so interesting and life giving that I couldn’t put it down. It took me just short of weeks to finish, which makes it the fastest I’ve ever read a book. For me, a huge self-accomplishment. Furthermore, this book gave me insight about the “unified” or “quantum” world that I had recently learned about and wanted to explore more deeply. I learned concepts that will change my life forever including topics of: heart coherence, over-stimulated thinking mind, how time is perceived and what it really is, as well as the importance of daily meditations. In a world full of stimulation, it is easy to forget about who we are and what we dream of. We give our “time” to outside sources % of the time. We aren’t taught about the effect mindfulness and meditation have on our mental and physical health. We are expected to be silenced sheep. I thank Dr. Joe Dispenza and his team for giving the learning opportunity to find peace through their collective knowledge in this book. If you are thinking about reading it, my advice is truly not to stop until you are finished even if it is a few pages a day. It is so easy to give up, but the information in this book is priceless and deserves to be heard and shared by the masses. Lastly, I look forward to attending one of Dr. Dispenza’s workshops and I hope to see you there. Stephanie Adair

4. A Real Life Transforming Book - This book is not a pseudo scheme to attract buyers with some less than advertised formula to bring about change in one’s life. This book contains cutting edge research into the field of personal change at the level of neuroscience, biology, biochemistry, psychology, and some quantum physics. There is no rigorous mathematical proof or theory on the precise physical mechanisms of which Dr. Joe’s content works at the level of mind and matter of course because that’s not the aim of this work. The work Dr. Joe Dispenza has labored shows very consistent phenomena occuring in his workshop backed by empirical scientific data. The anecdotal evidence for this work is nothing short of astounding; paradigm shattering in fact. Thousands of participants of Dr. Joe’s work have reported improvements and complete recovery from serious illnesses including various forms of cancer, diabetes, immune diseases, and much more. Simply put, apply the concepts that are discussed in the book with a strong and genuine intent and you’ll see change in your life. This is a self-help book like no other. It delves into the nature of reality itself and our role in it, and from that perspective draws a new model that is guaranteed to put to rest the old myopic paradigm that dominates society and culture; namely the newtonian clockwork dumb physical universe.

1. Learning About Masculine vs. Feminine Energy Is - The imbalance between both energies is where a lot of problems in relationships, wether internal or external, arise. This book does a great job of explaining the power of stepping into your masculine frame as a man, and the negatives by not doing so. Same for women in their feminine frame. When both sexes switch energies, i.e., a man becoming more feminine, he loses his drive, purpose, and direction in life, resulting in his woman stepping into her masculine, making her abandon her true essence for love and support. This is my second time reading this book, and it was even better this time around. I highly recommend for both men and women!

2. Great investment to my life! - This book from the beginning to the end, I riddled with insight and experience. If you a HUMAN with a natural masculine essence this book will help. I was walking through life looking for guidance on how to live a fulfilling life and I can say that this book has help me to understand my role as a man on this earth. It teaches you how to love your significant other and this world unconditionally. And to do so you need to read this book!

3. Tj - This was a great book took me just a few days to read. I liked the author and his input on everything. The only thing that I’d tell future readers and to the author is a lot /most of this book is aimed towards married couples or girlfriend /boyfriend that are already in long term committed relationships and have some kind of intimacy with each other on a regular / weekly monthly type of basis. One of my biggest problems as a male is maintaining a committed relationship with a female. If you are not in a relationship with a woman you kind of have to own up to the fact that you are a single male with no woman/ or women there to help you in that kind of way sexually loving and feeling for you on a regular or weekly basis. I felt it was more of a book aimed towards people that were already married or deeply committed to one another. From a biblical context it is not good for the man to be alone that is why God created both male and female. So the fact that husbands and wives are talked about in here throughout the book definitely makes sense from a godly perspective. For me personally being a single male it kind of makes it difficult to relate to a lot of it not having that relationship to be able to help guide you however you would like it to. I could relate to a lot as far as finding a sense of purpose in the direction but as far as what a woman is feeling or expecting and bettering that , it just seems this book is more aimed towards the long term boyfriend /girlfriend or married husband and wife than the single guy who is not in a relationship with any woman. Overall I still give this a five out five stars and with my suffering and struggles as a man /human being there was still a lot learned even though much of it is designed for people that are already together.

4. Solid Read - Great book for men looking to lead their relationship in the modern world. For example, traditional social norms pressure men to be the “bread-winner” as one of their manly duties in leading their relationship. This book challenges these types of norms and provides practical examples and tools for both men and women to use to enhance their relationships with one another.

1. Best Book I’ve Ever Read Hands Down. - The teachings in this book are phenomenal, the energy and feelings derived from this book during the constant realization of how much we’ve been suffering and living daily life completely wrong is what empowers me. I’m going to read this book again and again until it becomes apart of who I am. I’d recommend this book to anyone who’s “suffering” in life or wanting to see a change. Right now is the time to do so.

2. Beginners Guide - This book is a good introduction for someone who’s never taking the time to understand the power of meditation or an ego death. If you’ve had those experiences than I would suggest a more advanced book on the subject but either way it’s a good read. Gets a little repetitive at times but overall I think Tolle did his points well.

3. Unleashed Cages Bird - This book was a deep, interpersonal study for me that I chose to dig deeply into for a full days. Prior to obtaining this book into my realm of presence, I had already seemingly become enlightened and had accepted my life path of communication & chose to pursue my purpose of life coaching and motivational speaking after getting a enormous spiritual awakening and crossing a battle exactly one year ago. But before getting this book, I had some pain bodies that I didn’t quite know how to move past such as child, mother, father , and regret wound of what I felt was losing out on love because of my choice to be conscious in choosing to walk away from a painful marriage and get divorced and choice. to raise my children alone, and seemingly being unable to find “love & friendship ” I needed, but I knew this was keeping me from fully pursuing my passion to its limitless ability because they were all pain bodies for me and when running into clients of this sort, it made it hard to help them overcome because I too had to relinquish & surrender. After taking the necessary time, I realized that I understood I held the power but that my pain bodies still ruled me because of my power of my need for rescuing in another sort, form or fashion when I just needed to rescue myself. During the course of this book, I faced my own internal and outward battles, but obtained the strength to live in the Now, surrender and fix my pain and much as Maya Angelou describes in the caged bird, “
The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.” Thanks Eckhert Tolle— a much needed read to obtain my true surrender to the presence of just Being and fulfilling my passionate calling for the rest of the eternal Universe

4. This Book Changed My Life - Every word of this book feels and rings true. The moment something starts feeling difficult to understand I know there was resistance from my ego to a deeper truth. I worked with this book and I overcame a very painful break up and some difficult situations at work. This book is amazing, I has helped me relate in a healthier way with everyone around me, helped me overcome a lot of past and accumulated pain. just reading a sentence brings me back to the present moment and I start disolving my anxiety. Defenitly have to read it again.

5. A perfect fit when in pivoting life moments - There are times in your life that requires you to slow down for a reason. This book came to me in one of those moments. It provides guidance and clarity into the next stage. The “Power of Now” is a powerful guide to navigate various pivotal moments of life towards a healthy and sustainable personal growth

6. A life-transforming must read! - The power of Now truly is full of “timeless” wisdom. It has completely changed the way I perceive myself and others. Not only that, I have also found a new daily practice— staying in the present moment. Though it is easier said than done, the instances I get to separate myself from “clock time” and savor the present moment, I commune with “I AM.” Thank you Eckhart!

7. Life changing book - This book has dramatically changed my life. I could literally write a book about this book. It has calmed my mind in a level I’m still trying to understand. I have found peace and quiet. I plan on rereading this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone, specially to those struggling to figure out life. Both my wife and I are reading it and we are in shock of how much we connect with the author. Anyway best book ever read.

8. This booked Helped So much - This book helped me analyze my thought patterns and showed me how to watch them. This helped me get out of my own head and back to being in the present moment. For the first time in a long time I was able to find peace and joy in being in the moment. This book is highly reccomended especially in times like this.

9. Enlightening - Eckhard Tolle brings together streams of knowledge that will equip you to face the now. His interplay between question and answer, resonates with the beginner and the advanced seeker of truth. Interestingly, the book does not equate love to the power as love is already ingrained in the presence. A new perspective shifting focus to the mind as the most intriguing manifestation of ego that the avid reader now has a chance to gain more control of in the future. Thank you, Eckhard.

1. For Psychologists - The book has a variety of stories told by the author can be relatable to some degree for some. There is biological explanations of dopamine with great analogy for the reader to follow along. I wish there other forms of addiction discussed in this book that is more abstract such as thoughts or a person.

2. Great life lessons told with touching personal stories - Having read a few “self-help” books, I can confidently say this book is of a different class. Although it does give you advice and techniques to use in day-to-day lives, it never does it in a “just do it!” kinda way. More than that, I believe the book taught me to empathize better with people who suffer from compulsive overconsumption and generally with all of us flawed human beings.
An informative and concise book I can recommend everyone.

1. Love - This book is absolutely amazing. Not only is it extremely profound and direct, but it really opens your mind to the importance of following your heart and not allowing the reasoning mind to control your dream. My entire perspective has shifted in the most beautiful way. Thank you Don Miguel Ruiz for sharing your awareness with the world.

2. The Love Bible - This book could be called, “The Love Bible”. It’s essential for anyone with the gift of life to read and heed! Don Miguel Ruiz crafted magnificent stories that show how we can love ourselves the way the Creator made us, how we can forgive those that have harmed or done us wrong, how you don’t have to accept “the dream” that was taught to you, how to treat relationships, and so much more. It’s all centered around love and it starts with us. I will continue to re-read and implement in my life and help influence those around me. Thank you Mr. Ruiz!

4. Reminders - I really enjoyed reading this book, it was full of positive affirmations for me, some things did stretch my brain a bit but I internalized those thoughts in my own way.. over all this book has helped me in my personal growth and has honestly strengthened the love that I have for myself and others.. excellent read!!!

5. Simple yet mind blowing - This book made me start saying the words “I LOVE YOU” to myself. I was blown away once I realize how much I neglected my very self. I’d always express how much i loved myself in conversation with others & the importance of self love, BUT this book showed me the practical ways to love myself then everyone/thing else.

1. Needs index and page numbers - I downloaded this for a step meeting. We are doing reading based on a topic in the index. While it would be great to have the index, what really makes this e-book useless is that when they say, “turn to page ,” I find that the page numbers are not in sync with the paper book that many of the participants are reading from.

2. BEWARE- does not contain index in the back! - Courage to Change is one of my favorite books on the planet, and I wanted to buy an e-version in addition to the paper copy I have. To my great disappointment, this doesn’t have the index in the back! (Detachment: p. , , , etc). This severely limits the usefulness of this e-book. I am trying to figure out how to get my money returned.

3. Missing topic index - I love this book and never travel without it. I am so happy that it is now available as an iBook (one less printed book to carry around). I miss the topic index that appears in the back of the printed copies of this book. Perhaps it will be added if enough people realize that it is not included in the eBook?

1. Misleading Title - The Okinawan’s are not native Japanese! They are a mix of several different races due to the location of Okinawa in the Ryukyu Island chain south of the mainland islands of Japan. In the United States gave Okinawa back to Japan much to the dismay of the Okinawa people. Many had hoped that they would be granted sovereignty and become their own country. I have personally witnessed many mainland Japanese treat the Okinawa people with irreverence, distain and an air of racial inferiority. In fact, the Japanese are thought by many to be responsible for the death of a quarter of a million Okinawa civilians during WWII. There is no love lost between these two people. The Okinawa people are a wonderful, kind and gentle people quite different in attitude and lifestyle of mainland Japanese. For the authors to imply that ikigai is a Japanese concept is a falsehood to any of us that have the privilege of living on Okinawa and knowing these peaceful people.

5. I hate that I bought this book for Karen - I bought this because it was in the discount section. I had read Mark Manson and thought it might be similar fun. IT isn’t. It starts with how you have to belief in a higher power and goes downhill from there. My best analogy iis that it is like watching Bo Burnham sing “White Woman’s Instagram” over and over until your brain melts.

7. Very harsh tone, low literally level, amateur psychology - I realize this book has high review, that is why I wanted to listen. I could not disagree more, I do not like it and may not finish it. Very angry, rough, crude tone. Too generalized to appeal to everyone to the point of being offensive. The F work frequently used, disrespectful as in referring to God in many ways that are blasphemous by calling Him the ‘mother-load’. The voice of the author has an anxious, angry tone that is very irritating and makes it uncomfortable to listen to during my commute. Written at very low education level, instead of staying at a high moral respectful level and lifting readers/listeners to that level, the author was coming down to the depth of the barrel. Really no information in it that is earth shattering or would warrant even publishing. Wow, I am amazed that it has very high reviews. Well, that is my opinion for what it is worth and I am not sure I’ll finish listening.

8. Easy and Introductory Inspiring Read - I am not a self help/ instruction book fan but this one is filled with very simple concepts and statements that can change your way of thinking and just make things feel like they “click”. It was a great introduction to my now long list of books and authors to encourage me to strive for a higher quality life and mindset.

9. I liked the author’s side stories - Book left me skimming through the lines without actually reading content. I was trying to finish but I couldn’t get into what she was saying. I loved her mini stories. Her trip to India, her hike through canyons, and her grandma. I’d like to see a book with her stories! I know this was a self improvement book for others. She probably is a great coach. But some of her ideologies were somewhat redundant. You can tell she had a deadline for the book and was cramming. She took one concept and switched it around for different chapters. It was an okay book but I wouldn’t recommend for others to read. It wasn’t riveting or life altering. To each their own.

2. I love this book - This book was very insightful and eye opening on a lot of things. Although at times it got boring and repetitive, the author quickly grabbed my attention again by revealing factual details about subjects like love, healing, friendships, relationships, and many others.
