2. Can’t wait for this - Before Christmas I started binging VPR, when I got to season and you guys were no longer a part of the show, I was so lost… Like when you’re reading a good book and the main characters just stop being in it with no explanation. So I needed this, and y’all are delivering!

1. Dynamic! - One of the reasons I love the podcasting format is it allows for dynamic response to impactful events. Stewart and crew do it the best! They pull in experts, who do push back, and give us, the listener, a more thorough understanding of the topic. All done with some humor and properly dropped profanity thrown in for good measure, at least in my opinion. His staff are top notch “smarties” as well! I look forward to this dropping in my downloads consistently!

2. SVB Story - Respectfully, you got some of the points but missed the most crucial, making this kind of a sell out or the lead was buried deeply. SVB catered to venture capitalists. VC companies inherently are designed to take high risks. The investors know these are high risks. High risk means you are essentially on your own if it fails. The very rich VC investors have the accounting, financial, and legal support that % do not have. We should not be bailing out a VC bank unless failing to do so tanks innocent non-SVB banks and their investors. Please, no more Mark Cuban. We don’t need two side faux-moral equivalent representation to tell this story. Mark

3. Rice and Clinton?! Mind Blown - Lawd have mercy - there are no words that can do justice to the historical, intellectual, cultural, spiritual, and diplomatic genius you were able to convene for this episode. You need not look for any further evidence of the travesty of American misogyny than knowing these two icons of American history were never given the chance to lead our nation as presidents.

4. John Stewart for President - Every time I listen to John, no matter if it’s the podcast or Apple show, I am left feeling like I’ve just listened to the most educated, best debater, genuine person with influence of this day. I learn so much from John every time he tackles a topic. I wish for John and his team to run for President with all my heart! He would win hands down.

5. Great discussions. - We have to admit there are problems before we can fix the problems. Judging from the few star ratings I read, people aren’t even ready to do that, only sling names like commie, and libs at Mr. Stewart. This is an excellent podcast w/o all the corporate influence of MSM. Highly recommend.

6. Ohio Train Wreck Disaster and Biden Response - Jon - I think you need to do more research, same with your guests. Biden contacted DeWine right after the accident and offered his full support. As reported: “DeWine, a second-term Republican, said he had been contacted after the disaster by President Joe Biden, who, he said, offered any necessary federal assistance. Said DeWine at the Tuesday news briefing: “Look, the president called me and said, ‘Anything you need.’ I have not called him back after that conversation. We will not hesitate to do that if we’re seeing a problem or anything, but I’m not seeing it.”” DeWine didn’t think it was an issue that required Federal assistance or the Federal EPA involvement. He thought they had it handled. I really wish the media organizations would point this out.

7. We love the Show - We love and respect Jon Stewart son much, that is why we implore that your staff looks at the “hostile takeovers “ by DeSantis and his cronies of New College of Florida, a very small liberal arts college in Florida, a very special place for those who don’t fit the norms. Please help us!!!!

8. Stale and sad - John is a shadow of his former self. Politics is harder now, admittedly. He can’t apply the same anti-Bush schtick that won him my adoration so many years ago. Instead, he’s beholden to the politics of the new left, which are so much more complicated. He is beholden to a wide variety of interests, identities, and commitments, many of which contradict each other. This show is simply audio of him contorting himself, with the help of an irony-laden panel, in self-effacing ways and trying, but failing to fit the pieces of the puzzle together.

1. Authentic % - Absolutely love this podcast and everything that comes with it. I love listening to the variety of topics and it really helps amp up my Wednesday’s on my way to work!
Lala, I think you are a great human and love that you channel your true authentic self % of the time. You’re blunt and honest, and everyone who has given negative reviews clearly cannot take/handle blunt and honest opinions (that’s right, we’re all allowed to have our own opinions!) Keep it up

2. LaLa used to be my favorite - The hypocrisy and the bullying, and the judging that is happening on this show from LaLa is disgusting. This girl was my favorite on Vanderpump until last week and I cannot deal with the fact that she will not take accountability or acknowledge that she has done worse than Racquel. I’m sad to stop listening to her.
2023-03-22
3. Hypocrite - This podcast is exactly like her character on the show, dumb & hypocritical. You can’t make yourself look good, or better yet, you get what you deserve. From “bjs on the pj” that Fofty was paying for because your husband had no money. As a matter of fact cents money created her whole lifestyle. Can’t call her a mistress, even though that’s what she was. Can’t question her about sleeping with your man because she was drunk. And please don’t ever be in competition with her over a guy because if she loses, boy o boy she gets extremely messy & demeaning. And please don’t mention what cent thought she looked like. This broad needs a shrink she’s a complete mess.
2023-03-22
4. Attraction not promotion - Lala! I am so glad Jess asked you why you told Rachel about the James situation… I’ve been sober in aa since I was , almost years and I wondered why you did this because the wording is “to injure them or others”… so I wondered why you said this BUT it makes perfect sense. Remember… how do we treat people that are sick? Much love!
2023-03-22
5. Sit Down Lauren - I’m so tired of hearing her run her mouth. She’s such a bully and spins the narrative constantly. She literally slept with Raquel’s fiancé and then has the nerve to say she wouldn’t trust Raquel around her man?? Randall was married when Lauren slept with him and even if she believed he was separated she’s still giving Raquel a hard time over Schwartz who actually was separated. This girl needs a long hard look in an unfiltered mirror for once. She’s vial and I hope her daughter doesn’t turn into the same toxic dumpster fire. I can’t imagine she’s a good mother with the way she bullies peoples.
2023-03-19
6. The black kettle - Don’t understand the righteous authority police position Lala takes on S/E towards Raquel.
Lala is calling Raquel out for exactly what the girls were encouraging her to do over the weekend… have fun and let loose.
Then Lala feels threatened by Raquel after Lala belittles her.
Saying she wouldn’t trust Raquel when she is drinking to be around her boyfriend.
Raquel fires back saying good thing you don’t have a boyfriend (Boom ouch)
The girls are all shocked.
Seriously, Lala is a huge bully and gaslights people as her actions are beyond the most inappropriate of anyone!
2023-03-16
7. Keep it real - Had to laugh at Lala’s reaction to Oliver choosing Raquel over her at the club. Never underestimate a gal who’s confident enough to rock her original hair color, lip size and chest size. She will beat the fake look of the insecure chick every single time. That look just screams desperation. Ewww
2023-03-12
8. Love listening to Lala, just gotta tolerate everyone else - The last episode “about Scandoval” was so cringe. Too many people trying to talk and be witty at the same time. Also a whole group bashing a Raquel for a full hour was giving bully vibes and I am SO not team Raquel but it was just overkill. I had a hard time getting through it except wanted to hear Lala’s thoughts on the scandal. In general, idk how much more I can take of Jess on the show. I’m sure she’s a great girl and an awesome assistant & friend, but she’s not cut out for podcasting! Her voice, her questions, her constantly affirming everything, it’s beyond annoying. And I know a lot of people have been saying this for a while but I just kept thinking “it’s not that bad, I can tolerate it to listen to Lala.” But I think it’s gotten worse! :/ I get excited when a guest is on so we can get a break from Jess and then NOPE there she is again chiming in on guest episodes too, why!? It’s too much. I guess I’ll stop listening and just check back every few months to see if Lala has gotten a new cohost.

1. So compelling! Love this Podcast! - I’ve bought most of the seasons on DVD (just not a few of the latest ones yet because they’re fresh in my head ) and watched all the extras, all the Ponderosa’s and I gotta tell ya this podcast has some teeth! You finally get to hear a lot about what happens from the other side of the camera and what goes into making this show so great! Thank you so much for this! Love hearing the stories and getting an inside perspective!

2. AMAZING - On Fire is truly lit. I have watched every episode from every season…yes I am old lol. It is so awesome to get all of the behind the scenes with Jeff and crew. What is so cool is to see how excited and enthusiastic Jeff is after all of this time and how he remembers every detail about the players and what has happened all of these years. He is the absolute best host and the show would never be the same without him. This podcast is great!!!!!

3. Worth The Wait - So since my year old son started to love Survivor as much as I do, I now plan my visits to see him around the two seasons of Survivor. And, we don’t watch an episode until we are together. This season I arrived in Virginia the day of the airing of episode . Now that we are all caught up, I started the podcast and it is awesome!!!! It was worth the wait!
2023-03-23
4. Great informative podcast - I love Survivor. If I didn’t why would I listen to this podcast? But even more than the game, I love learning how it is made. That’s what makes this podcast so awesome! From what they look for in casting to how the challenges are made ( tons of concrete blocks in the ocean!) this podcast is informative and very interesting. I’m looking forward to hearing more behind the scenes stuff. Keep up the good work!!
2023-03-23
5. LOVE!! - This is so fun and I wish you would have started this podcast sooner!! Will you be doing an episode all about set design/props design? I personally LOVE the different tribal council sets each year. My all-time favorite was Game Changers and the shipwreck theme, I’m also REALLY loving the knights at the round table theme this season!
2023-03-23
6. Take it from a Survivor fan - I am loving this podcast. Hearing from Jeff about the behind the scenes activities has been fun and enlightening. I have wondered about how the changes in the show each year come to be and all the effort it takes to get each season off the ground. Looking forward to hearing and learning more. Will we ever hear from some of the players? And really - Jeff’s hair ? I love it - leave it Jeff. I’m with you - I will never act my age!

7. Jeff Probst's Podcast Adds a New Dimension to the Survivor Experience - Jeff Probst, the legendary host of the iconic reality TV show Survivor, has added a new dimension to his storytelling prowess with his new podcast about Survivor. As a long-time fan of the show, I was thrilled to hear that Probst was taking his storytelling talents to a new medium, and I was not disappointed. His podcast is a must-listen for any fan of the show, offering behind-the-scenes insights and personal reflections that add a new level of depth to the Survivor experience. The podcast is masterfully produced, with Probst's smooth voice leading the way as he interviews crew members and shares his own thoughts and memories from behind the seen. The sound quality is top-notch, making it easy to get lost in the stories and forget that you're not actually on the island with the players. It's clear that Probst has a deep love for the show and its fans, and that passion comes through in every episode. One of the things that sets Probst's podcast apart from other Survivor-related content is the level of access he has to the players. 8. One of the best pods around - Of course any survivor fan would love this podcast, but besides that I must say that this is one of the best produced podcasts out there period. As someone who listens to podcasts across every genre I’m very impressed. It’s so well done that it has quickly become my favorite podcast. Jeff’s voice is so easy to listen to and the information is great, you really feel like you’re getting to know the behind the scenes of survivor well. % fresh!

1. They never fail to make me laugh! - Absolutely LOVE these two quick-witted and silly humans! I have actually started watching other Bravo shows because of them. (Hope Bravo knows that they owe some of their viewership to them). I find myself saying things like “honAY!” and “I love that!” and the convos between Sandy and that dummy Norma… and of course “goddammit!!” Don’t get me started on the Padma/Gail thing. I love the s/s culture references… especially Ronnie’s (love you too, Ben, you’re just a little younger). Also love how they play off each other and make each other laugh. Lastly, these guys are so good/appreciative of their fans! They interact on Twitter and I really dig their live shows. Sorry for the long review, but it’s almost weird how much I enjoy these two. lol
2023-03-23
2. Best Depression Cure - I started listening to Ben and Ronnie during RHOBH - at my rock bottom of depression. And I am forever changed. I didn’t just laugh- I had to pull my car over to really belly laugh at these two. The voices and THE THINGS THEY SAY. I seriously started to find the sunshine again by laughing and enjoying this podcast. Especially on my walks. Hysterical. Love you guys!!
2023-03-21
3. Besties - Ronnie and Ben are my podcast besties - no one else delivers days a week of hilarious content about my trashy shows, and no one else can compete with their dedication to that cause. Thanks for all you do guys, I fall asleep to your voices most nights (believe it or not). The best of the best!
2023-03-21
4. Every Show is So Fun!! - Ben and Ronnie are fantastic! Their impressions are hilarious and their insight into the characters are spot on. They are completely in tune to what we viewers/ listeners are craving. Guaranteed to boost your mood, even on the gloomiest day. Shout out to Stassi for mentioning Watch What Crappens on her podcast back in . That’s how I first learned of this podcast and now I’m addicted and tell all my Bravo watching friends. Love you guys!!
2023-03-20
5. Hey Baybah! - I love Ronnie and Ben! I’m so glad I found them because I have nobody to talk to about my shows!! I love all the voices they do! I definitely watch more bravo/peacock shows just to binge their old episodes. I love the ongoing Captain sandy and Norma text conversations…(bloop) and Jennifer’s “baybah!” I say it around the house so much that my year old son even says it now This podcast makes me laugh so hard, you can tell they enjoy what they do.
2023-03-19
6. YESS—Your Latest Episode - Y’all had the exact take I did lol. I thought I was going crazy. Of course I’d love to hate Raquel, but man, these girls make it hard. They are back to middle school bullying status. It was hard not to feel bad for Raquel, even knowing what we know. Love how y’all are able to flip flop (IN THE BEST WAY) and make it make sense. I sent quotes of Ronnie’s to friends to explain what I was feeling. Also I love y’all, been listening for years. Still mad at you for not responding to my instagram message lol. I’m a fellow Austinite and feeling sad over no reply. Lolol. No hate, I know y’all are slammed. Love you all the same! Keep on keeping on because your takes are on point.
2023-03-16
7. Do not break up with Top Chef! - You guys are my favorite!!!!! I adore your ridiculous accents! When you did The Countess (she’s not coming back, right?)
I always started laughing as soon as you spoke in her voice !! Padma’s voice and her passive aggression make my week!!
Pleeeeeeeease keep doing it!!! Love you!
2023-03-15
8. If I don’t hear Crappens recap it, did I even watch the episode? - Ronnie and Ben are national treasures. They are a vital part of my Bravo viewing experience. It is laugh out loud hysterical, and if you are just tuning in- start with the Top Chef recaps! Comedic gold! Every time Padma walks into a scene I hear “did you MEAN…”

1. It’s honestly mid - I really enjoy their dynamic but Page rarely has a real take on any subject unless it’s hating on Rhianna. She kind of gives Hailey vibes and that’s an ick for me. Page and Hannah’s relationship is the best part but they should probably leave the gossip to those not scared of white celebrity backlash.
2023-03-16
2. Making light of depression - not ok!!! - funny and entertaining! Edit: on today’s pod // Paige mentions being in a deep depression for awhile.I think she said for monThs. I do understand some w depression can push to function while deeply depressed but Paige has been giggling on this pod for months No mention of depression. Traveling. Living life. Etc. this is very dangerous to make light of depression. Perhaps she’s been sad at times but to say she’s in a deep depression is very exaggeratory and can give people truly depressed the wrong msg. So immature and dangerous of Paige to make light of something this serious. I would like to see this addressed on the pod!!
2023-03-16
3. Love love love - Absolutely the best podcast I’ve listened to. Always giggling, always making me giggle, always spot on relatable, always discussing topics people want to know about but are to embarrassed to ask. Pretty girls with ugly girl personality and we are here for it. even though we are decentering men from our life’s I love the Craig’s and des convos
2023-02-28
4. Obsessed - But can I just say I feel like Paige is the funny one and kind of gives Hannah most of her material. Hannah posted a tik tok on “her” theory of the longer the caption the shorter the relationship and I’m like that’s not your theory, that was literally born on giggly bc of Paige. I just feel like Hannah’s constantly regurgitating the same stuff! So.. mostly just here for Paige but loveeee this show so much.

5. Thank you for todays episode. - Thank you for discussing husbands & gaslighting!!!! OMG. They always think they're always right... I can't take it. This episode made me feel not so alone in my agony & actually made me laugh about my miserable feelings today. Thank you ladies. By the way I've been married for years, together for years.
2023-01-21
6. Just like hanging out with your friends - I spent the last few months renovating the laundry room in my house...and I listened to every single episode. This podcast was a great listen for a year old (attempting to) navigate all of life’s changes. Listening is just like hanging out with your friends. Thank you Hannah and Paige!!

Comments
1. Allow Guests to Speak - Please stop interrupting your guests so blatantly and obnoxiously (Tamra!). The constant interrupting and talking over everyone is too much, especially since the Scandoval. I love the chats too, but I’d love to hear both sides clearly more without all the yelling to be heard.
2023-03-23
2. Monotone reading - I just like to listen to viewpoints but cannot stand when someone reads and reads and reads articles on a podcast. I already am familiar with said articles and tweets etc and the monotone voice is horrible. I FF when this happens. Or sometimes just turn it off when it goes on and on. I cannot give more than stars because of that aspect.
2023-03-18
3. Teddi is annoying she makes Tamra more likeable - I think Tamra knows exactly why Teddi is so disliked and can probably relate with the sentiment of fans. I wasn’t fan of Tamra before but this podcast gives her personality more dimension. Teddi is know it all and hypocritical even in smallest scenarios.
2023-03-18
4. Not sure if I will keep listening - I can’t believe the reviews thinking Tamra is so great! She never knows what’s going on. They were talking about how they make so much money but Tam is never prepared! I feel bad that Teddy has to catch her up n everything before they can talk about it. So frustrating!!
2023-03-17
5. Not surprised! Pump has not paid for the alcohol license - I worked at a produce company in LA and Casa Blanca and Pump were always past due on the payment. We would often put those account on hold because they would run the bill very high and not pay. Also the girl in their account receivable told one my coworkers that ken was mean.
2023-03-16
6. Horse teeth… - This is the worst podcast out there horse teeth’s Voice is so loud and abrasive who could listen to it for more than two minutes. She has done so many things to try to be relevant. I wish Tamra would get away from her. She is choosing Tamra so that she can get people to listen to her podcast. Tamra needs her own podcast. I really want to give it - stars but there’s not a category for that.
2023-03-15
7. Refusing to lower the star any more because Tam is LIFE - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Teddi, STOP reading the articles/quotes. It is the same note myself and every person I know that listens to you guys have a problem with. You do not have a voice for that and we are constantly fast forwarding. We all read the quotes. Either let Tam read it or give a gist. It makes me want to stop listening. As a long time Tamara stan, I was so excited to hear her takes on a show like this. As usual, she did not disappoint. No notes, Tam. So, I have genuinely tried to like and appreciate Teddi. Admittedly, I was never a fan of her on RHOBH. I am doing my best to listen with fresh unbiased ears. Just please, whoever is managing this show, please let Tam moderate the show and read the quotes.
2023-03-14
8. Too Biased - Teddi is too biased when it comes to Beverly Hills. She never holds the other ladies accountable for anything and her hate for LVP she constantly brings up her name. Both Tamra and Teddi constantly talk over each other and their guests
You really owe Jacqueline an apology. You need to fact check Melissa also.
Teddi comparing taking diabetic medication to lose weight and having plastic surgery definitely not the same.

1. Danny helps with crying baby! - Okay hear me out… I listened to Danny in my car the whole time I was pregnant. Now if I’m in the car with my newborn and she won’t stop crying I turn on Danny and she immediately stops crying! I’ve tested this theory times now and every time in works lol Thank you Danny!! babywhisperer

2. Love Danny, but not interested in interviews - I LOVE Danny and he is usually a must listen for me. The last year or so it feels like his interest is more in interviews, which he is amazing at! I just miss his regular recaps and reflections without half the episode being commercials and then rushing to get to the other half which is an interview. I absolutely love Danny, I just haven’t been able to enjoy the show as much this year.

1. Love this so much - First I want to say how much I appreciate you ordering your episodes from top to bottom instead of bottom to top like most! Makes it so much easier to listen to them in order. Second I absolutely loved listening to this, love everyone’s insight into the characters and story. Cannot wait for season

2. All the Emotions at Once - I’m not going to say this in any way that does it justice, but listening to this podcast while watching the show is a treasured experience for me. Neil and Craig, thank you so much for making all of our dreams come true with this project. To Troy and Ashley, y’all are the best. Thank you for allowing us to feel like we were with y’all geeking out on the details and insights of creating this masterpiece. It’s never been harder to wait for a sequel. 3. My imaginary friends ! - I had never heard of the game. I am not a gamer but I love watching series and movies! Every time I watched an episode I would look forward to listen to the podcast on my way to work on Monday mornings. I was having conversations with all of you as I found a lot of my feelings and reactions to the episodes to be « in tune » with your talks! Amazing production, amazing podcast and amazing people!

4. Just simply wonderful - I could go on and on about how wonderful The Last of Us is. Truly a masterpiece and this podcast is such a fun edition for fans! I love hearing Neil and Craig’s explanations of story lines, intentional similarities and differences to the game plus the fun behind the scenes content. Craig, Neil and Troy are so thoughtful and concise in their speaking. Five stars!

5. Great companion to the show - I love the show. I’ve watched each episode a few times, because they are just so good. I love this podcast for the insights and backstories and for the enthusiasm. After listening, I want to watch the episode again to see the things they talk about or to see it in the way they meant it. Definitely recommend.

6. Thank you SO MUCH for making this - I’ve been playing and replaying this game since about a year before the second one came out I think. When me and my dad heard that there was going to be a show for the game we were so excited. We were talking about it before the idea was even out there saying how this would be an amazing show and now that someone made it were so happy. The amazing choice of actors especially Joel makes everything way better. We listen to the podcast on the way to my moms house so I don’t normally get to hear all of it but here I am listening to it in my own. The acting is amazing along with their voices. This is just a / never seen a better show before.

7. Entertainment, philosophy and therapy all-in-one - I started watching this show after my kids told me about the premise of the video game. I was obviously immediately hooked at the first episode. But the podcast! Such amazing commentary and background stories of love and the human condition. The closing comments on Episode were like a punch to the gut. “The fear a parent has is the most intense fear a person can have”. A mass shooting recently happened at one of my kid’s school. I’ve been struggling with the post-incident parental feelings. That comment gave words to what I was feeling and unable to describe; and weirdly made feel feel like I wasn’t losing my mind. I don’t suspect the host and show runners thought of that particular situation, but it speaks to the poignant and universal themes discussed on this podcast.

8. Respect Pronouns, guys! - In the early episodes, you guys were on it and got Bella’s pronouns right, mixing in “they” pronouns, which is the right thing to do when a non-binary person uses more than one pronoun. Listening to episode , you guys EXCLUSIVE use she pronouns for Bella. Non-binary people are listening - do right by them.

1. Too spoilery - I generally don’t agree with the reviewer’s opinions on the movies for the most part, but I still enjoy listening to their opinions on them overall. The reason for the lower review is that they really don’t give spoiler warnings like they used to. I get some of the movies and TV shows are based on books, but some of us haven’t read the books or it’s been a long time since we had read them and don’t want spoilers. I don’t think it would be that difficult to give a spoiler warning and then talk about those things at the end of the episode. I also wish they had hosts with more differing opinions. Many times all the hosts all have the same opinion, and it would be nice to see more balance.

2. Pay wall for Oscars recap!? REALLY?!?! - I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and now, suddenly, the morning-after Oscars coverage is behind a paywall?! What shameless shilling trickery, NPR! You want to set up a pay structure for people who can afford and/or would rather listen “ad free” than have a couple of interruptions, fine. But to make access to a culmination recap show conditioned on a “free trial” of a fee system is bait-y and cruel and, really, the exact opposite of PUBLIC radio.

3. Show has completely unraveled - The show USED to be a celebration of all forms of art, artists and the artistic process - from the silly to the superb. Now it’s just dissecting a movie’s representation (and how it fails to meet the panel’s standards), condescending laughter, and no heart. Ever since they moved to a day format and introduced Statler and Waldorf - Aisha - the show took on an increasingly negative and dismissive tone. Looking at the most recent reviews, it seems quite clear that many feel similarly so I don’t understand why they keep pushing further in this direction. Linda is still the absolute greatest and if they included who was hosting each episode in the description, I could at least know which ones to listen to. Since they don’t, it’s going to have to be a full unsubscribe. After a decade of listening.

4. Awful Podcast. Definitely not the level of professionalism that I expect from NPR. - Listened to a few episodes and could not finish. Each host and guest are pretentious, awful, and are no way even remotely interested in the topic. I’m all for different opinions, but if they have to resort to making fun of something to get their point across, that’s just juvenile. I expected better, NPR!

5. The Best Man Final Chapters - Hated their description of The Best Man Final Chapters. The series gave the fans closure and a deeper dive into the each character and what they were battling with regarding friendship, family, marriage, aging parents, health. Murch’s character was the prime example of him trying to find his own way, sharing his true feelings about his friendships and finding time for self-care.

6. Enjoyable listen - For the most part I enjoy this podcast and really like the hosts. Their have been a few instances where I have deeply rolled my eyes. The Yellowstone episode, for example, was ridiculous. Rather than be a review of the show, it decided to make a it political critique, insulting and making assumptions about the type of people who watch it. These types of mishaps don’t happen often, but when they do, it turns me off.

7. Smart pop culture recommendations - Love the PCHH team’s reviews of different varieties of pop culture specially on some of less known programs.
There is a small film called “The half of it” on Netflix almost checks every box Linda’s wish list while reviewing “smiley” excepts it’s coming of age movie. Check it out and hope you’ll like it.
2023-01-13
8. Daily Degrade - I used to really enjoy this podcast, but the change to daily episodes has really degraded the overall show. There are MANY episodes now that I skip as they try to fill every day of the week. In addition to that, they rarely have a full panel anymore. Often episodes are just two people talking about the movie. I personally like it a lot more when there are more opinions presented. I really wish they would go back to once a week and only focus on movies/shows that are worth discussing. Do a bonus episode every so often - sure! But the forced daily episodes are just not working.

1. decent pod, but have major issues - While I check-in regularly to hear Sean and Amanda’s thoughts on topics I find interesting, I’m not an active subscriber for two reasons: . Sean can be extremely doom and gloom about the industry—to a nauseating degree. At times it seems like the passion well has run dry for him, and even if he likes a film, there’s a degree of defeatism and negativity that he just puts a damper on most discussions. . Amanda comes across as extremely narrow-minded. There are a lot of really nasty and sexist reviews here, so I’m going to try and be as kind and respectful as possible here: I really dislike the way she seems to write-off entire genres and styles of filmmaking. She comes at anything animated or that uses genre elements with extreme prejudice and derision. I get that she’s sick of soulless superhero movies and Illumination productions, and we all have our preferences, but it’s rude and unprofessional not to give something like GDT’s Pinocchio the time of day and treat it like disposable trash without even watching it.

2. … - I have listened for a long while. I like the rapport Sean and Amanda have. They are good friends and you can feel it, which is lovely. With that in mind, in a dream world, adam nayman and Joanna Robinson would be the hosts of this show instead. They run laps around Sean and Amanda when they are guests. Adam is one of the best critics out there and joanna doesn’t dismiss/talk down on movies and genres that are outside of her wheelhouse. Food for thought. Bye bye

3. Love - I super Duper love these guys, I just have one issue with their Oscars recap… Every time I hear a “lack of star power” the sub text is (unintentionally) “lack of white people“. Are there young super A-list Hollywood celebrities? Yes. Are there super A-list Hollywood celebrities of color? Yes. But when we are talking about the “star power“ we’re talking at least % white people… especially considering how the cohort of A-list actors of color is only recently really starting to grow. When I hear “the death of the Movistar” I actually don’t mind. To me, it means we are no longer entrusting only a rarefied group of actors to tell our stories. It’s a good thing.

4. Generally fun but TOO LONG - Sean and Amanda are fun co-hosts who enjoy their witty banter. They are great at discussing films in a highly intellectual way without being too academic about the subject, though they could occasionally be better served by being more like their occasional guest, Adam Nayman. The problem with these podcast episodes are that they are WAY TOO LONG. I’ve never listened to an episode that couldn’t have been just as informative in about - minutes in length.

5. Fabelmans - Love the podcast. I bought the fabelmans on Apple after listening to your podcast and was not disappointed . This movie was best movie of the year. I listen to this podcast and the Rewatchables exclusively to find out what my next purchases will be . You have not let me down yet! On a side note I did not even know the film whiplash existed until I heard about it on the Rewatchables. Holy crap what a good movie that was. Purchased that one also

6. Read your reviews! We are all echoing the same sentiments - Y’all have officially shown how out of touch you both are by saying the th academy awards show was terrible. Are you both completely nuts? Neither of you seem to like anything, AD is the worst. You have a dream job Amanda and you show up unprepared and never bother to watch the films discussed. That was easily the best show the Oscars have produced in YEARS. That is worth celebrating, not whining about especially as a movie podcast that claims to love cinema!!!! So sensitive! Shots taken that you’re offended about over Ireland and babylon? Newsflash Sean and Amanda, they’re jokes. This show was so well produced, with gorgeous production design and you two just find anything you can to whine about. I’ve been listening to TBP since and at this point I’m over it the more and more rude and bitter the two of you get. Lighten up. The Oscar’s ’this year were a huge win in terms of steps forward and the changes they made to improve upon the show should be discussed by a popular movie podcast and hilighted … but no, A and S don’t seem to like anything anymore and are just so whiny.

7. Replace Amanda Dobbins w/ Joanna! - Most of Amanda's takes are incomprehensible and lack any sort of due diligence or nuance. How she got on this pod truly baffles me. Joanna Robinson over at the Ringer-verse is thoughtful and certainly does her homework in trying to understand any body of work. Dear Ringer, please replace Amanda with Joanna.

8. Sean is great, Amanda should watch movies - Sean Fennessy is very well informed on movies, has excellent taste but for the life of meI don't understand how that Ringer has Amanda Dobbins as a co host, she often doesn't even watch films they are talking about and just tells us what is on Wikipedia- she is supposedly an editor at Ringer, would she like people writing articles and things they don't know? Please give Sean a real co host

1. Thank you for the laughter, nostalgia and all the emotional feels - An amazing podcast! All three together bring an incredible chemistry feel to this podcast. There is not one episode that I don’t burst out laughing with the commentary you bring. Love the episode with Blake Clark! Thank you for bringing us all through this journey with you.

2. One of my favorite rewatch podcasts! - This show is fantastic! I get to feel nostalgic as Danielle, Will and Rider reminisce and reveal behind the scenes stories from Boy Meets World and their other past projects. Plus, they always share things going on in their present lives, which makes it feel like you're a friend listening in on the conversation. I also appreciate the honesty with both the hosts and the guests in sharing the good and the bad that happened during the run of BMW. Thanks for this wonderful podcast that is truly entertaining!

3. The best Pod in the world! - I’ve listened to my fair share of podcasts and this one by far is the best out there! Not only does it give me the nostalgic feels I didn’t know I needed, the trio combination of Danielle, Rider and Will make for such a smooth listen and pair soooo well together! Even though the year will be before we reach the finale , I will be here every pod of the way!!! I’m obsessed!

4. I Love Itt! - Honestly, I’ve never tried to listen to a podcast before, really! However when I heated you guys had a podcast I felt I had to listen! I absolutely enjoy it! You guys are such a big inspiration to me and thank you! I love Boy Meets world, it’s my favorite show. It couldn’t have been as great as it was to me without you guys. Hearing you how you guys honestly feel then and now helps me look at things from different perspectives which is great and increases my love for the show and you guys even more. So, Thank you, for everything.

5. Whoops! Forgot to review! - Well I have listened to all episodes thus far. The podcast is nostalgic and super fun. The throwback references are hilarious. Listening to Danielle, Will, and Rider make you feel like you are hanging out with your own friends from school days. Looking forward to seeing how far this podcast goes. Loved both BMW and GMW. This has my wife and I rewatching the series. I especially enjoy learning about the personal daily quirks of all three hosts. Thanks! -Steve class of :)

7. Love Will & Danielle! - If Rider could let anyone else talk… We get it, you’re very intellectual and have been a scholar from a young age. With your literature and poetry reading, you’re better than all of us. He talks so fast to fit all of his amazing thoughts into one sentence. He has to make sure everyone knows what an enlightened & self aware human he is. It’s his entire personality. No one can get a word in edge wise when he takes off. All gas and no brakes. Dude. Just chill. It’s not that deep. Also the Duracell commercials need to go.

8. Fantastic time with friends. - I’ve never listened or continued to listen to a podcast from the beginning, but I loved BMW when it was on TV, and I’d watch it pretty much all the time. This show is great. I love the recaps that Ryder, Will, and Danielle do, sharing their memories from when they filmed, but my favorite episodes are those where they chat with other members of the show and what there memories are. You definitely feel the love that the three have for their guests. The show just feels like hanging out with friends. I’ll definitely continue listening. Also, this is my first ever review of a podcast.

Comments
1. Juliet’s Abortion Comments - Juliet’s abortion comments during the Knocked Up pod were despicable. I have enjoyed the podcast since the beginning and I don’t mind hearing political ideas I disagree with occasionally mixed in with entertaining discussions about my favorite films. This was different. Abortion is the biggest, most profound issue of our time. Please understand that many people, including most Christians, feel very strongly about the defense and preservation of new human life at its most vulnerable stage. Juliet’s remarks were callous and cold-hearted. I will not listen to any future pods featuring Juliet.

2. Being a Podcaster and listening to a few of these episodes is cringe worthy - Listen, first off Bill or Brian or whatever your name is
Don’t cut off your cohosts
If they have a valid point, let them bring it up, let them breathe it out into the podcast and let us hear what they have to say Don’t just a hog the mic Second of all podcasts are all about opinions so I will give you that. But your opinions, I am legend is not every watchable movie until the world has gone through Covid? Are you kidding me?
I don’t even know where to begin. I’m gonna to challenge you and say that my podcast in your podcast should have a get together
2023-03-15
3. The concept has run its course - we need some new hosts on this podcast or, at the very least, some guests who bring different takes on which movies are rewatchable. if it’s subjective, bill might as well lean in and give someone else a chance at running or picking the movies. and as much as I like CR, the Wayne Jenkins bit is tired.
2023-03-14
4. Love almost everything about this….BUT - I’m just going to say it, Bill Simmons voice is annoying. How does a guy from Massachusetts sound like a year old California kid? I’d rather hear a natural New England accent over a nasal plugged, cali-style voice that sounds like he’s breathing through his mouth while eating Mac and cheese. But I would take him over Mallory Rubin’s sportscaster voice (I’m absolutely Schhhhhhahked at that) and ridiculous laugh. Actually the exhale part of her laugh is cute, it’s the oxygen sucking inhale afterward that annoys me most. Anyway….CR, Fennessey and Van are the best part of this.
2023-03-09
5. Thank You for Whiplash Discussion - I don’t know if you read these, but I want to thank you for the Whiplash pod. The first time I saw it I was so tied up in the jazz flaws (from my point of view as a life long musician) that I couldn’t appreciate the movie for what it was. Sean, you are a gem and a light. I watched it tonight with a new perspective and it moved me. You guys provide a true gift and I know that sounds corny, but in these cynical times it’s rare for me to feel outside myself and be totally immersed in something beautiful. Your insight and depth are so appreciated.
2023-02-24
6. Lost its charm quickly - The earliest episodes with Simmons, Ryan and Fennessey had a joy and a charm to them and the movies were actually rewatchable. As time went on and hosts were added it became banal content generation. By the time Van Lathan was added as a host the paucity of ideas was clear; let’s add a host who replaces nouns, verbs and adverbs with swear words. The occasional swear can add excitement or emphasis. I thought the Ringer was a group of writers also recording podcasts. Why all the cursing? Oh well… still a few early gems worth listening to.
2023-02-12
7. A Movie Lover’s Go To Podcast - Great discussions, entertaining and informative. I often rewatch movies after listening to the podcast episode, or watch movies I haven’t seen but should have. My only criticism is that shows with more than three hosts tend to get disjointed with people talking over each other. Best shows are with Bill and Chris alone. Do Apollo next!
2023-02-06
8. Mallory Rubin - Woah. That lady is insufferable. She can’t possibly talk like that (and have friends) in real life. Abject crap, no thank you. Oh yeah, that Chris Ryan guy stinks too. Rubin and Ryan should link up to launch the most unlistenable pod ever. Wake up Bill. You’re blowing it on what could and should be a weekly go to. Currently skippable.

1. This is a special show, so grateful for it. - First of all, I discovered Wizards of Waverley Place fairly recently, so new content is super exciting!! Thank you both so much for doing this! I know it must take a ton of time and energy. I see a lot of people saying that you talk over each other and that Miss Stone is “rude.” I would totally disagree. The atmosphere is playful, friendly and relaxed. Because it is chill, it is not a perfect podcast. However, it is super fun to watch on YouTube. I don’t either of you need to change what your doing. It is so special to get to sit in on your fun conversations. Thank you both for doing this! I seriously love it. As a last note, there is a fair amount of swearing. I don’t mind, it just shows that your having fun, but it might be a good idea to mark it for that so that people know before they turn it on. Over all, it’s not a big deal and I am just so happy to have this podcast!

2. Love the pod but - I need DeLuise to drop the “Disneeeeey” announcer voice. It creeps me out every time lol. Seriously though, this podcast is bringing up all the childhood memories of watching this show with my family and it’s so nice. I love the insight to what the set was like and how the episodes were shot/created. Harper deserved a spin-off for SURE!!
2023-03-13
3. Wizards pod - I love the concept of the pod. I missed out on the first Q&A but will try to catch the next one. However, there is entirely too much overtalking going on. You both over talk each other and its to the point where you would start speaking super fast to avoid being cut off by one another. I will listen to a few more pods to see if anything changes but I would really hate to go. I hope you take constructive criticism in the right way and listen to your listeners .
2023-03-10
4. Nostalgic but grown up - I do enjoy hearing these two talk. And I LOVE when Selena came on the show. I will say the title of the podcast is misleading, because % of the podcast is just about fun chat and down to earth convos. I like that because i have a childhood investment into the actors. I was pleasantly surprised because this had the potential to be cringey reliving our childhood show, but it's not! :)
2023-03-07
5. Thank you for my childhood - I love this and the adhd/dyslexia/autoimmune talk is so helpful for me plus hearing the behind scenes secrets etc… Alex and Harper were great for me cause they both just owned themselves weren’t the “typical” stereotype/ very peppy : which I needed growing up… PS I loved how you incorporated the spanish/Latin american well in this show cause I could use in it spanish class
2023-03-06
6. Idk!!! Lots of over talking - I’ve seen it around a bit on social media so decided to listen. Couldn’t really sit past a couple of minutes….. David just goes on and on and on and doesn’t let Jen speak! Once someone gets the chance to speak, they talk so fast before they get cut off again. Lots of room for potential but they should develop stronger conversational chemistry.
2023-03-06
7. Jennifer’s gotta chill - I love the whole idea of this podcast and that fact that they’re all reuniting in such a beautiful and meaningful way, however I think Jennifer needs to tone it down a bit. I don’t know if she intended to sound this way, but she sounds quite rude with how she is constantly cutting off David. Honestly, I want to hear more from him and listen to his thoughts.

8. Love you guys, huge fan! - I remember watching Wizards of Waverly place when it was on tv, and having to run to do things at commercial and hurry back to not miss anything! I have rewatched the series many many times (I’m currently rewatching it now). I love this podcast, it’s so fun hearing y’all’s thoughts and feelings about the show. It would be so cool to have a reunion! Thanks for the laughs, love all the cast!

1. I do enjoy, here’s some thoughts - Absolutely enjoy the recaps, appreciate the details they all share. I have to agree though with a couple of other Reviews here. It feels like Joy is really the only one maintaining neutrality, asking questions and sustaining a genuine interest in seeking to understand. I’m also not the biggest fan of how long the rants or tangents get, how many ads there are and so on! I do still love this podcast and will continue to listen!
2023-03-23
2. Hmmm - I love this Podcast! I don’t understand the comments about not liking when they go off on tangents- to me that is the most interesting part. I also don’t agree that Joy is the best part, she has something interesting things to say but I feel like she is too intentional in her comments. Like she is trying to say the right thing instead of being sincere. She comes off as pretentious, especially when she talk in her quiet breathy voice. I love Sophia and Hillary, they have great chemistry.

3. Love! - This podcast is a real light in my life. I feel really grateful to be able to listen to these successful women share their wisdom and experiences in the world. I think it’s really honorable of them to share their honest opinions on important issues we’re facing in this country. I’m also glad they’re calling out parts of the show that didn’t age well, and I love that this podcast seems to be helping them process and recover from what they went through behind the scenes. I commend them for sharing their stories. I love the show, but it’s important to talk about these things so we can learn and grow. Highly recommend this podcast, it’s refreshing and hilarious, and I always have a better day when I listen to an episode!

4. Thank you from the depths of my soul - I’ve been watching since the pilot premiered. I’m only a couple of years older than you guys so it always kind of felt like we were growing up together. I would see situations I had just been through or was going through at the time and the show, your characters, always showed me a perspective I hadn’t thought of or a classy, graceful, way to handle certain relationships, moments, and coming of age. A year and a half ago I lost my mother. Desperately trying to distract myself and self soothe I started another rewatch (the first in a couple of years and only the second time ever watching seasons -) because my usual comfort show was something that my mom and I shared and I just have not been ready to go there. I happily ensconced myself in a tree hill bubble relishing the drama and the character arcs I knew I had to look forward to. Bringing me back to my very early ’s, reminding me of what we had all “gone through” to grow up. And then suddenly, we’re adults. We’re worried about jobs and pregnancies and real things amongst all the melodrama and hyperbole. And there you all are: P Sawyer, B Davis, and Mrs James Scott my three best friends at a time when I needed you most. Joy - your delivery of Lydia’s death storyline was spectacular. Even though I was in the fetal position with my heart just shattered it was so real and ugly and nonsensical as grief truly is. It showed me that so much of what I was feeling was valid. My girls, showing me again how to cope, that it’s okay to feel, that even when we think we’ve grown up there’s so much more to learn, to share, to go through and that friendship can sustain you even at your lowest lows. This podcast is a gift that I want all three of you to know I am so truly grateful for. Spending an hour with you a week sometimes gets me through the mental quagmire and on to one more day. Given the experiences you had I am so incredibly appreciative that you are willing to discuss and revisit that time in your lives for us. In giving us your thoughts, your memories, your opinions, you make the sum so much greater than the parts. Thank you for being willing to separate the ugly memories from the beautiful ones. I’m grateful that you are able to own your art. Because it matters.

5. It’s getting awkward - I love this podcast but it’s starting to get awkward that Chad has not been on as a guest. Was he not invited or did he turn it down? I understand the past and all but it is a glaringly obvious omission. I was thinking the same thing about James but saw that the new episode was just posted with him. I also wanted to say that at the beginning I thought Joy was kind of boring and didn’t fit in, but she is the only one really breaking down the episodes now and doesn’t go on tangents. I appreciate her!

6. Proud of your openness - Thank you all for being willing to share your experiences on and off the screen. We often feel as though we are owed this but we are not. I appreciate everything you share and touch on and despite it all have stayed true. Your friendship is a beautiful bi-product and I love listening to you all together.
Just heard this quote for the first time and had to share after listening to the Episode from Honey Grove, TX

7. drama queens mean business - thanks for giving us something to look forward to again. i don’t know if i speak for all one tree hill fans out there, but there was a harsh line drawn a couple years ago, glad to know it’s still okay to love the show and all of our drama queens! we love you, we hear you, we support you. keep going.

8. Love, love love this podcast - This podcast is a highlight of my week. I love that you are all so open and honest about your experiences. I truly enjoy hearing about behind the scenes information and stories from each episode. I can’t wait to continue to follow along as you knock out more episodes and seasons! I also can’t wait to see what other costars will join in on future episodes. Keep up the great work!!

1. To see Joanna is to understand Joanna - I’ve been listening to this show off and on because I enjoy the subject matter in general, but I frequently find myself having to turn it off about minutes in because Joanna can’t seem to prevent herself from interjecting her inane non-sequitur social commentary “hot takes”, with the nuance of a year old girl regurgitating other people’s words. She can’t seem to avoid inserting her pandering banal woke speak in relation to any and every aspect of whatever program is being discussed, with seemingly zero awareness that her personal contribution to the world, which is essentially just offering opinions about other people’s fantasy tales, makes her a pretty ironic narrator when discussing her perceived take on other people’s marginalization. She doesn’t actually DO anything, she doesn’t BUILD anything, she doesn’t CONTRIBUTE anything. She’s the epitome of marginalized, albeit self-induced. She’s a completely irrelevant person who brings nothing to the world beyond criticism (or appreciation) of other people’s contributions. In that context, it’s fairly easy to understand her penchant for championing imaginary victims, since it’s the only way an irrelevant person like her can feign relevance. To truly have your “ah ha” moment in relation to how a woman like Joanna becomes such a font of sniveling weakness, however, one must seek out an image of her. OF COURSE Joanna lives in a world where imaginary injustices lurk around every corner….if a mess like that has no agency in her own life, how could anyone else? The plight of the imaginary victim would probably feel less compelling to Joanna if she put down her fork every once in a while, got control over her own life, and did something with it that actually matters. Save yourself, Joanna….stop using every opportunity to play faux champion on behalf of people who don’t need your help. Nobody asks a homeless person to feel sorry for them because they happen to live in a house in a state of ill-repair. No need to waste time looking for ways to feeling sorry for others, Joanna….they’re probably way too busy having legitimate reasons to feel sorry for you.

2. Decent insights but the hosts can be annoying - I appreciate the insights that the different hosts bring to the various shows and movies they cover, but all of them laugh and giggle and generally find everything they say far more amusing than it is. I get that they want this podcast to be fun, but listening to them crack up at the most inane thing is too much.

3. Steve—House of R Parrot—Ahlman - The Ringer Verse in general and House or R in particular exists on a weird spectrum of delivering good, thoughtful content and utterly just being a notch above phoning it in and seemingly too scared to tell the powers that be “hey, couldn’t produce something positive, going to focus my energies elsewhere”. Go listen to Derek Thompson—y’all aren’t doing yourselves favors dedicating time to this.

4. MAL & CHARLES ARE ANNOYING - i want to listen to a pod about the nerd things i enjoy, but its hard when of the hosts are unbearable. cant stand Mal’s over exaggerated enunciation, annoying giggling, & talking mph without saying anything of value. Charles on the other hand is a super hater who’s opinions always seem so holier than thou. like how can you always be on the opposite end of everything good? anytime dude says anything, he proves how much of a miserable hater he is. they need to pair those in one pod so i can skip that episode weekly.

5. Wanted to like it, but I guess not for me - As a self-confessed geek and MCU fan, I tried to listen to your Villains draft. At ::, you FINALLY stopped talking about the rules and started the draft. There was nothing worthwhile before that. Maybe some fans turn out for the time-sucking silly repartee, but as a new listener it’s an awfully high bar to jump: minutes of talking about what you’re going to talk about.

6. Tune in for Joana, turn off for the midnight boys - Joana will watch a show and make an intelligent reference to ’s neo-realism, two seconds later one of these two dudes will come in yelling a reference to a marvel film they saw last year. It’s like listening to a grown-up discussed a film with a child.

7. Great pod. Terrible editing. - For the past year especially, this podcast and others from The Ringer have had SO many editing issues, I’ve started to tune out. I love everyone on The Ringerverse and Prestige TV podcast in particular, but for god’s sake, every episode I listen to now has the following issues: cutting out midway through someone talking only to have it reverse seconds to the same segment, and cutting off the end of the pod altogether. …Why does this keep happening, and why has no one made any attempts to fix it after this long? I’m sooo sad because I love the deep dives and frank first impressions, but these edits ain’t it. Time to start finding somewhere else to get my dose of pop culture.

8. All Love for My Boys - For the most part, I listen to the Midnight Boys solely, but I always appreciate the primers and perspectives from Mal and Jo. All that to say, there is not a better four-man group than Chuckwagon, Minivan, Jome Dome, and Ahlman Joy. You can tell that these guys hang out all the time, and the genuine fun and banter is second to none. Highly recommend!!!

1. Love it! - I love your guys podcast I honestly just started watching the show when it came out on Netflix I remember being a kid and putting the same movie in and always seeing the trailers for the show and always wanting to watch it but I could never find it so now I’m being able to watch it and then having you guys reflect on it is really awesome and getting all the truth behind everything is very very cool! It’s a very comfortable laid-back podcast keep up the good work love to come and tune in every Tuesday.

2. I’m obsessed - This is the nostalgia I’ve been looking for. Such a great show. You are both so articulate and expressive in tone. And you both have a great sense of humor. Perfect for a podcast. Please consider doing a podcast again after this is over. Just talk to each other about current events or what’s going on in pop culture. I enjoy hearing your perspectives. Thanks!

3. Love it! - I grew up watching Laguna and the hills. this podcast is not just a amazing recap of the iconic Laguna episodes, it is a insightful discussion of Kristin and Stephen’s perspectives and reflections on the events that happened many years ago. Their reflections are very cool to hear and so relatable. I’m very impressed with them and how down to earth and funny they are. I was always a huge fan of Kristin— I love her outspoken personality.
This is actually the first podcast I ever listened to regularly. Great work and it’s so cool to hear from you guys!

4. So fun, Stephen needs more guidance :) - Love this podcast. Kristin is so fun, she asks all the right questions, brings up everything people want to hear, and is brutally honest and open. I feel like questions are actually answered. Stephen is nice and cute and all. I absolutely agree with other reviews.. He can ramble on about boring things, it seems clear he isn't really owning up to the things he should be, he is still good at distracting from the actual evidence. He definitely seems to always have a thing for Kristin and wants to say whatever pleases her, even if it isn't all the way true. I'd like to see more transparancy from him, since Kristin has been totally transparent.

5. Mind boggling - Every week my then - teenage-self is blown away by all of these juicy details. I still remember talking to my friends during our freshman (hs) Spanish class about the episode that debuted the night before…. Not ashamed to admit this show was has been my not-so-guilty pleasure show to watch over the years. And of course, everything I thought I knew, CLEARLY wasn’t the case lol. Truly loving every minute reliving these memories!
2023-03-07
6. Love it …BUT THE ADS ARE RIDICULOUS - The ads are ridiculous. You need to make the podcast longer if you’re going to have these insanely long ads every episode. Episode was LITERALLY - minutes of talking and mini of ads! INSANE. I know you want to make money but it’s ridiculous and greedy at this point. You need to lessen the number of ads or the length of each ad. Or increase the length of the podcast. DO BETTER.

7. Love Stephen and Kristin: more recapping - Okay love the nostalgic element of this pod and having Kirstin and Steven back together also love the guests and hearing where they are all now. However Kristin is so much more real and I am soooo tired of Steven trying to defend and justify everything. Like yes I get it but if we took this from Stevens perspective, not a word uttered was real. Anyone also annoyed by him trying to be the good guy by constantly giving himself no bigger than a D rating? It’s not making you more likable!!

8. Hollister! - Hey guys! Loving the podcast and remembering these great episodes. Hollister California is actually about minutes away from Santa Cruz California and there’s a huge surf community there so while the brand was a mall brand, it is an actual place that does have an actual surf background. Keep up the fun!

1. Wendy - I watch WWHL religiously and realize that the housewives do what they do. HOWEVER, Wendy got to go. The entire time she was on, she kept looking at herself in the monitor. She and her conceited fake ss needs to be checked and checked out of Potomac. Btw Wendy…you ARE NOT a Nigerian queen by ANY stretch of the imagination except your own.

2. TrashTV - Andy Cohen and Bravo TV like to bank of women’s quarrel’s, connections, and lifestyles — only to tear it all apart. Men like to use women like the Bravo Network only to destroy their lives, self image — and now marriages. And don’t forget … FREEDOM. Get the handcuffs ready. Andy make sure you film that too. Gotta sleep well tonight.

3. Recovering listener /viewer - If one wants to become dumber than a rock (an insult to rocks) keep listening and watching WWHL. I once enjoyed Bravo shows as an escape, but not at the expense of further intellectual decline. Bravo, is no longer an escape for me, but a reminder of our gross celebration of consumer culture.

4. Let’s be real… - What do you expect? Rules for thee not for thee, virtual signaling, apologetics, cherry picking, crawfishing…. Ironically enough served from literally what is dubbed “the most privileged of classes” but I mean hopefully the irony is not only lost on me. As Neitzche stated loosely “ stare long enough into the abyss and eventually it will begin to look back at you”… but I mean have any of use really come here to be enlightened Now that’s scary.

5. Tired of getting lectured - I loved the bravo shows as an escape from reality. Completely vapid and my guilty pleasure. Housewives, Southern Charm, etc etc. But now each show is slowly turning into one giant lecture. Served with a side of “listen to us, we’re better than you…” well, no you’re not. No longer interested.

6. Cornball - Andy is a real cornball for the way that he treated Monique and Chris Samuels. She knew what she saw but cornball Andy, Wrinkled neck no man havingJezebel, and her trusted boring behind sidekick Robyn lied about what went down at the winery. Jezebel knows that was her hand nudging Monique and we all saw the wine glass fly. Wendy is a bore and Candiace the crying chihuahua are is an absolute turn off. Im done with RHOP and anything else Andy has a hand in. The Grande Dame is the only thing left to see but I will support her by buying her merchandise.

7. The “Watch What Crappens” Talented Podcasters - So glad to see you finally invited the hysterically funny duo of Ben & Ronnie from Watch What Crappens podcast to your Watch What Happens show. Their creative & engaging recapping of Bravo reality shows are responsible for bringing new viewers like me to some Bravo shows I’d never thought about watching. So glad to see them finally recognized by Bravo.

8. Problematic - Andy Cohen never holds any cast member on any of the shows on Bravo accountable for any of their problematic behavior like Jax’s verbal abuse to his wife as well as their attitudes towards the lgbtq community, Stassi and Kristens covert racism towards Faith, and lastly the blatant sweeping under the rug by Lisa Vanderpump about these issues.

1. Not Quite There - I think going back to one time a week would allow for a bit more time for this show to land it’s cadence which isn’t quite yet there for me. Feels rushed and missing something. Please don’t do episodes about topics that you really didn’t seem to care about (e.g. Scandavol). Feels like just checking a box rather than bringing forward a fresh take or topic
2023-03-14
2. Listen to Into It - Into It is the best pop culture podcast since “Keep It”. Culturegeist is one of the best segments on a podcast, period. Sam Sanders saying that the airplanes were the best actors in Top Gun: Maverick is a take that I will truly never forget. Do yourself a favor and listen to this podcast.
2023-03-11
3. It’s fun but why does it always have to be negative? - I actually enjoy a lot of the topics on this podcast! Listening to Sam Sanders on NPR led me to this next journey of his. Another reviewer said it best that I think Sam Sander always has to be a contrarian/devils advocate/or straight up negative unless it’s about Beyoncé of course. I’m not sure if he’s doing this to have conflicting opinions often (which I don’t mind - all in agreement gets boring) but Sam Sanders just tends to be sooooo negative that I’m just not into it anymore. Pun intended.

4. Not a very nuanced discussion about the last of us - disappointing to see a great show get nit picked to death for being genre and prestige… I’m sorry but this show would be better as a low budget less serious network show??? I’m not against bad hot takes but we need better arguments to back them up
2023-02-17
5. Worn Sheen - I’ll keep this short, but I used to think I was into this podcast, but for a pop culture podcast Sam continually shows, not that he has bad opinions (although he does quite often), but that most of his opinions are guided by either a longing to be a contrarian or a weird need to play devils advocate. I also assumed he was younger, but I’m starting to think by his lack of pop culture knowledge that he is approaching relevancy death.

6. Listen - It’s so accurate. Into Not Onto It talks about what’s been in your mind all week. Either you’ve been living for it or living for hating it, Into It Not Into It will set it all straight to clear out your next week. And at the end of each episode there’s a dip into what some have been thinking about for days, weeks, months, or years.
2023-02-16
7. Favorite Part of the Week - I genuinely look forward to Thursdays each week in anticipation of listening to Sam and what’s going on in the culture past & present!! Thank you Sam for hosting such a fun, insightful, and well researched show that’s both light and serious! When I’m not waiting for Thursday’s, I’m glad there’s Vibe Check to hold me over! Cheers to you and your production team

8. Very fun entertaining pop culture podcast - Totally worth a listen - easily digestible, host is smart and funny with great chemistry with his guests. Minor request - please stop explaining the rules of Into It/Not Into It every time. Just talk. Also, I hate the explanation/repetition of the Culture-geist intro - it’s like nails on a chalkboard. (Sorry - otherwise it’s a perfect listen, really!)

1. The worst case of vocal fry I’ve ever heard - Mallory is great at almost everything you’d want from a podcaster, except her voice. Almost every sentence ends with the last two or three words being croaked out. Almost like she suddenly becomes a monster from a “The Grudge” style horror movie. Maybe I’m the only one who hears it, but it’s so grating.
2023-03-08
2. Peerless erudite and a joy - These two know how to contextualize and celebrate their subject. There is such a richness and cross pollination going on in pop culture today and it can be difficult to navigate it all. Problem solved just listen here...frequently. This podcast is a gem since they do their homework and find a relatable way to share insights in areas I share interest in. Keep it going, I am listening and reveling in the quality
2023-03-07
3. Love it — the quantity and quality I need! - I’m just one of those people that wants to talk about a thing forever after I watch it, so obviously I’m obsessed with this feed. Love the instant takes (Van and Charles are hilarious and always have keen insights) and the deep dives are so detailed and long. Would listen to Mal and Joanna all day every day!
2023-03-06
4. Jo finally has her equal in Rob - loving the Poker Face recaps w/ Jo & Rob! Jo sounds so relieved to finally have a podcast partner who brings as many insights as she does - as a result, their eps are full of fresh takes & joyful banter about a terrific show. they also did a great job on the Fleischman finale.
2023-02-26
5. ATLANTA recaps with Charles and Van! - Thank you, Charles Holmes and Van Lathan for your recaps. I was late watching season of Atlanta, trying to find a time when I could binge them all. Immediately after I felt the need to discuss the whole show with somebody that loved it as much as I. You guys provided that for me with your concise breakdowns and analysis of each episode. An insightful and fun listen. I’m going to miss Atlanta, and miss you guys talking about it even more!

6. If you’re going to listen to TLOU Pod - Jo and Mal are definitively THE best at dissecting the show. Their chemistry is amazing (and has been from HOTD on) but their integration of the game and this amazing show is truly something to behold. Ideally I’d recommend the official podcast as a companion piece but if you only have time for one this is certainly it. The instant reaction pod is unfortunately less effective but this review is for the Deep Dives. Loved Sommerville’s input in episode especially that he was willing to relate it to our modern day world. Thank you ladies for the insightful, thoughtful analysis. PLEASE keep it coming!
2023-02-22
7. KEEP REAL WORLD POLITICS OUT OF FANTASY STORIES - Usually Mallory and (sometimes) Joanna do a good job to remain neutral and keep real world politics out of the episodes. Was not a fan of one of their guests, Patrick Somerville, and his comments/takes that were frankly extremely stereotypical, judgmental, and offensive. I understand sometimes fantasy stories revolve around political ideas but if I wanted to listen to real world political talk, I would not be listening to a podcast about zombies…
2023-02-09
8. Loving LOU recap - As a huge fan of the games, I find it refreshing to hear deep dive recaps from people who aren’t necessarily big stans of the games comparing every single detail with the show. Same level of top-tier content that the Ringer consistently puts out, IMO. Though not sure what’s happening at least with Episode deep dive - lots of audio cuts and jumps!

1. Stars - Always Good Listening - I listen to all the bravo / pop culture pod’s and it used to be a joke I’d hear that “Ryan Bailey is the hardest working person in podcasting” - it’s true. There’s so many pod’s out now & I get really annoyed when people claim it’s their job but they don’t remember which cast members said what lines or they’ll reference incorrect episode details etc. - Ryan & his team REALLY do put effort into their notes, recapping & providing timestamps so you can control your listening … I’d highly recommend The episodes are HILARIOUS. You can tell he enjoys the shows as much as any of us viewers do … the energy, passion & content/episode consistency is truly unmatched. (If Danny Pellegrino is the Beyoncé of pod’s … Ryan is Rihanna!)

2. Ugh- make him stop. - Ryan has talent, but is under the delusion that he is friends with the reality stars he covers. He goes on and on about who he knows ….. blah, blah blah. I used to listen religiously, and now I can’t stand the sound of his voice. Eat some humble pie and return to your once lovable, self deprecating self.

3. All around fav - I listen on Spotify but had to come & leave a review after todays intro/mashup with some pop(-rock) girlies!!! I used to always skip them but then forgot one day & actually loved it Sheryl Crow recently was also a lovely nod… would love a little Taylor with tour starting tomorrow, should you feel inspired ;) but appreciate your content here all around per usual!! Thx Ryan

4. Huh - Where have you all been? Stalker Selena has been obsessed with Justin/Hailey since early s way before their marriage. I heard Selena went on a trip to Dubai and got a "facial" by dozens of men for a lot of money after her Disney days. Ew no amount of money is worth that! But that's no excuse for liking hate videos of Hailey her fans make. She's , time to move on from the underage boy now married man for plus years she dated a decade ago. Not stalk, visit, like and comment on false propaganda her fans edit of a woman you and your fans love to abuse.

5. Musical Mashups - The mashups are worth price of admission. Thanks for having them. Your dedication to this podcast is appreciated. Take care of yourself. Mondays mashup my favorite. Could you identify the artists in your show notes or at the beginning of the pod? Someday could you make a collection of your favorites to us for purchase? Your continued dedication to this podcast is appreciated as you go through your personal health journey and Becky Baileys challenge. Prayers for her as she continues to demonstrate such grace. Glad you recognize that and acknowledge it. Be well

6. NEEDS a Producer - Ryan is awesome and seems like a genuinely good person, but he goes on and on for far too long. He could cut his podcast time in half if he just got into the topics instead of explaining what he's going to be talking about for the first - minutes. Think he just needs to bring in an editor to cut the waste, every show should not be over hours long!! Also - the personal stuff is ok every once in awhile but people are not coming to a pop culture podcast to hear about personal/family stuff. Overall a good listen but just wayyy too long winded and unprofessional. Also, thinking you are all of a sudden "in" with bravo celebs because you have a podcast... just because they're nice to you or respond to a DM does not mean you're besties.
2023-03-13
7. Amateur Hour!!!!!!!!!!! - So low rent, unprofessional, all over the place, episodes way too long and often he apologizes for why they are late. You would think after this long of trying to make this a career he would be growing towards something. It’s so cringe to listen to this train wreck and sinking ship. He jokes about living with his parents but as a grown man, bro, that’s just sad.
2023-03-09
8. The latest scandoval episode - Lala was a mistress. To a man who was married with two kids. And everyone knew, except her? And she posted pictures of the kids when the wife ask not to. And she taunted her. And pretended that she was innocent and totally fooled. Raquel and Tom are horrible. But lala using Ariana’s trauma to rectify why she treated people badly when she was also a mistress is WOW and everyone is excusing it - she didn’t “know something about Raquel and Tom” she was the easiest to bully at the time and the Tom’s used to be the ones who treated people nicer than Katie Stassi Kristen / were more logical, that’s why she didn’t like them. She prefers volatile emotional chaos. She also turned her back on Ariana after she was there for her.
