1. stars and more - Just like the saprano’s this is a show you should go back to beginning and relive. All of life’s greatest moments captured and viewed through a lens unlike any other. The world would be a better place if you took two hours out of your day and just sat back and listened. The stories of Waffle House guy, the takes that are still squatted on to this very day. Do you know Daks favorite color? These guys find out. Will Hank ever get the lottery ball? Who knows but god dammit I’m gonna listen and find out. He won’t. But I’m still gonna listen. No better way to waste away a couple hours at work or to pass the time on that drive home. Sick of listening to your wife. Have her subscribe so she can learn a think or two from guys on chicks. It’s a master class in how to become successful at life, family and gambling. All the things that are important in life. Keep it up boys and best in the Windy City. Don’t go selling out. - don’t tell Hank!!!!!

2. Ads are annoying as of late but show is good - It’s like they googled ‘how to make a radio ad’ and went with whatever they saw. BigCat will say the name of the brand like times throughout the ad as if that makes it effective, meanwhile the rest of it is just him barely even audible speed reading through it. Just bafflingly annoying

3. Pardon My Review - It literally took you minutes to finish reading ads before Electric Ave today. Why do podcasters think we need a sponsored summary of what we're about to hear? There is a description box you dopes. This isn't AM radio in the s. Words! Brought to you by language! In association with common sense.

4. Love the pod, but oh billy billy billy - Pod’s great, I’ve been listening for about years now and I look forward to it each day it drops. But oh my goodness billy has got to do something about his lying problems. It makes me wanna run through a stained glass window sometimes. The sad part is sometimes he gets so involved in the lie he convinces me that he truly believes the misinformation he is spreading. I wish the best for him and would never speak on another mans job… but cmon billy have some respect for yourself and tell the truth (Concussion )

5. Getting Stale. Needs a refresh. - I’ve listened to every single episode since June of . In the past year or so, some of the magic has seemed to disappear. Jake and Billy are way too involved, and when they do speak, their jokes fall flat. PFT’s too obsessed with his bits and hasn’t grown or evolved in years. We shouldn’t be hearing Delly jokes in . Hoping when the crew moves to Chicago, Big Cat will help recalibrate the show. Getting close to moving it out of my rotation which makes me very sad.
2023-01-25
6. Not what it used to be - Once Jake and Billy came onto the scene and Big Cat and PFT elevated them to be a main part of the show, I started tuning out. They aren’t funny and they kill the jokes and disrupt the chemistry between Big Cat and PFT. Plus, you can click on any episode and go to any random time stamp and you’ll probably hear at least two people speaking at the same time.

7. Huge fan…. One thing missing.. - Look, it’s the perfect podcast. Laugh out loud funny, great content setup, decent guests, well rounded all together…. Except for one thing. Everyone has won the lottery ball machine, but not Hank. It just can’t be true, and if so I call for collusion. There’s just not a chance he hasn’t gotten it yet.

1. An absolute must listen - Love the podcast. All the episodes that I have listened to/watched, so far (all but ) are very entertaining and very insightful. Speaking of being insightful, the March , episode with Daniel Jeremiah should be mandatory listening for all fans of the NFL. I thought I knew alot about football, the draft and how players are evaluated, but the discussion between Jason & DJ took that knowledge to a whole new level. Keep up the good work fellas!
2023-03-22
2. Much like my Bros - Love these two. They remind me so much of my own brothers…I have three. The way they snipe at each other…lovingly. They are hilarious! I’m a long time Eagles fan…back to Concrete Charlie, Pete Retzlaff and Tommy Mc Donald…I was then .
Despite my Eagles love, I’ve adopted the Chiefs as my since Andy went there.
These two guys rep their teams perfectly and provide a lot of good info and insights as well as entertainment!
2023-03-17
3. Best of all the podcasts - I’ve only seen a few episodes and this is so good and I love football but I like never hear about it except the damar Hamlin and find this podcast amazing and kind of funny and some of the episodes. The first episode I have ever watched on this podcast was the which animal would be the best at football and that gave me the knowledge I’m gonna love this podcast. So far this is the best podcast ever. Five stars for a reason. And you guys should call the fans the new heights hustlers because we always listen about football.
2023-03-08
4. So much fun - I found this show after the Super Bowl, and I am really enjoying listening to each podcast, knowing how the season winds up for both brothers. I’m a long-time KC Chiefs fan ( years), and Travis is one of my all-time faves. Listening to this podcast, I’m really enjoying learning more about Jason. He is so excitable and hilarious to TK’s chill (unless he’s defending Arrowhead or screaming “you gotta fight…”). I don’t normally listen to sports talk shows, but I love listening to their recaps of each week. Most entertaining podcast on my list!
2023-03-03
5. Class act Kelce’s - From the moment Travis was a rookie I joked to everyone he was my fantasy husband. (He’s like my sons age I think. Hahah) my husband knew this and it was all in fun. Not only so handsome but you just knew he was going to be something great. And each year he got better, he got more humble. My boys are big football players and Travis and Patrick are their role models. They don’t miss anything they are associated with. Now comes in Jason! Holy moly. Can I have two fantasy husbands? Haha. For real though, their podcast is the coolest thing since football was invented. I love this duo and you just know their parents have got to be so proud of them. I love listening to their podcasts as they are very entertaining. We get their opinions on the weekly games and also some things in their personal life. I love hearing about their mom. I hope someday if my boys make it big they talk about me like these two talk about their mom. This is one family that genuinely loves each other. If you haven’t listened to their podcast yet you are missing out. Listen to it now! Thank you Jason and Travis for giving us this entertainment. It’s not always easy putting yourself out there so we do appreciate it. PS: my dream is to meet Travis in person and my boys so they can meet their role model. Jason would be a bonus! So Travis , if you ever feel like making this Kansas Mom happy well I’m sure you can respond to this .

6. Best podcast in a long time - Kansas City Native but honestly never followed football. This is change my perspective on football, and actually made me a pretty big fan, following games through the season. It’s been really special getting to listen to the podcast and talk about it with my younger brother who’s a Kansas City fire fighter. Really feels like a family show and it’s really brought my family closer together.

7. Jerry Kramers “Instant Replay” of ! - I got to meet and assist with some autograph session Jerry Kramer was doing a few years ago and then stumbled upon his book “Instant Replay” To be honest, I’m not even sure how I found this podcast but am definitely glad I did! Just like Jerry Kramer, one of the most interesting people I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting the Kelce brothers recap of their year resulted in a journal of an incredible year and journey! Can’t wait for Wednesday to see what they have in store for us!

8. Amazing podcast - I listen to all football podcast, this one AMAZING! I’m a huge football fan always have been but listening to these guys all year and then watching them get where they were.that changed the game. I was almost as excited for this game as if it was my own team (ravens fan). Thanks for making this football season a special one and a SB I won’t forget. The love the respect. Everything you guys stand for I support. Continue the amazing work/careers. Can’t wait for next season now.

1. THE BEST LISTEN - I’ve been an avid listener since . I listen to his podcasts when I’m running or doing yard work or driving. He is just on. He is plugged in. He’s interesting. He goes beyond sports and uses excellent metaphors of life events to get his points across. He is just a great listen. I’m y/o. I haven’t found anyone as insightful and interesting as Colin. He clearly prepares well. He has great guests. Love his sense of humor. Like Herbstreet comes on and Stars Wars music comes on. He has a funny playful side that I love. Thanks Colin. Hope you get to read this.

2. Colin is the best in radio adding Jason made his show great - Colin can talk for hours and never become boring. He is gold standard in sports talk radio. Christine was a tough listen with all due respect. Joy was a fine co-host, but JMac has brought The Herd to a whole new level. Feels like Colin and him have unbelievable chemistry on the air and Colin does what the best radio stations do, he plays the hits. Talks mostly NFL until he is forced to talk about another topic. Congrats on changing your show for the best. Love tuning in.
2023-03-14
3. Fantastic! And Disastrous - Absolutely love the show, absolutely love the thoughtful, in-depth opinion pieces. The show always makes me think about sports and more. But for the love of Pete, Jay Mac is a disaster. Sophomoric, often trying to make something out of nothing and it’s very transparent. this is not a good fit
2023-02-14
4. Nick Wrong - Another segment with the same blow hard trying to convince people Lebron is the goat. Enough is enough. Lebron is like Chamberlain. The most physically gifted basketball players of all time. But just could not win enough big games ie championships. Congrats to him though he has scored the most pts. & Mr. Wrong has the most wrong takes.

5. Reaching out about antisemitic advertising - Herd team - I’m a daily listener to much of the volume. And I’m an antisemitism educator. I want to raise a flag about an ad that frequently runs at the start of the Herd podcast that is, likely unintentionally, pushing forward an antisemitic lie. Specifically, the ad, which is calling people to Jesus, blames the crucifixion of Jesus on his followers. While the ad doesn’t explicitly use the word Jews, it’s well known that most of his followers were Jews. Moreover, it’s we’ll known that the murder of Jesus has been blamed on Jews for millennia. This lie has lead to an incredible amount of antisemitic violence over the centuries, and remains central to many antisemitic attitudes in the western world today. It’s quite common to see Jews called “Christ Killers” online or in person, or to see it on billboards and highway overpasses in America, as a rallying cry for white supremacists in America and the west more broadly, who also blame Jews for the browning of America (and the west). Christianity is a beautiful faith and has much to offer people and the world, but at a time of heightened antisemitism, certainly we can find better ways to call people to Christ then to focus purely on the crucifixion in a way that reinforces an idea that has led to the death of millions of Jews over the centuries. Please reconsider the content of this ad and ask the organization to produce content to replace it that accomplishes the goal of calling people to their work without pushing forward stories that we know have caused great harm to a small minority group.

6. Class - Been listening a long time, always been a fan. Specifically today though, with the tragedy that was Damar Hamlin’s collapse last night, the way Colin and the team handled the show today showed absolute class and a well-thought out delivery. Well worth a listen today and moving forward, love his ability to measure out reason with a love for sports.
2023-01-04
7. Worth checking in once a week - I can’t listen to this day in and day out. It’s hours of listing the NFL quarterbacks by measurables. The first hour is game results and a weekly check in on how the quarterbacks look. The second hour is how Colin was right or wrong about those same results he just talked about. The third hour is a magic ball spin on what Colin thinks about— you guessed it— NFL quarterbacks. Somewhere in the middle is an interview where Colin regurgitates his takes on NFL quarterbacks that he just gave us for positive affirmation- which the host is more than willing to give—to have an ally in the profession. And this reaffirms Colin as an expert on the topic of quarterbacks. He’s a great opinionated personality but check in weekly. There isn’t enough variety of topics anymore. He is established and dug in with Fox and the hunger seems to be gone. He’s coasting. UPDATE: Yeah, I switched it to star I just can’t listen anymore. I used to love Colin, but it’s hours EVERY DAY of ranking quarterbacks in different ways. He is phoning it in but I guess people are listening. They shouldn’t.
2022-12-22
8. Stop screwing up the downloads - Look, I really enjoy Colin (the show is star) but I can't believe the nonsense in how the show is posted and managed on iTunes. Forget the gush of extra shows, the settings on the primary show cause the entire backlog to mark as completed and removes it from my phone. Its work to keep them saved so I can listen. Increasingly its work I don't want to do. I'd hate to give it up but will have to if this isn't resolved. Its the only show on all of iTunes that does this. Come on.

1. Audio - This is one of my favorite podcasts but the audio issues that come up when y’all aren’t on the bus is terrible. Sounds like you’re listening to a conversation on speaker phone. Also when someone without a mic speaks and the podcast goes silent and then Will or Taylor responds to an unknown comment is a tough listen as well.

2. Lunchpail Boys - Payoff Willy The Ghost of Lewan A Spooktober Spectacular. The Boys in the back? Dogs. The high-caliber guests? Dogs. The banter and chirps? Pro. The vibes? High. Seriously, this show makes me smile, and I love the balance of silly and real talk. The Boys are always working on the mentals, leaving it all on the field, and always bringing…the biggest of hugs and tiniest of kisses.

1. -- Question - Hi guys, great podcast. Chris Wesseling continues to smile down on you to this day. My question isn’t NFL related but podcast related in regards to your Thursday preview show. Wouldn’t it make more sense to NOT reveal your locks during the podcast and reveal them during the Friday Fun Show on the spot so that no hero can get a definite advantage into changing their lock on the fly during the preview pod? Matt N. From Scranton, PA
2023-03-22
2. Was better with Chris - I’ve listened for years, and it feels more and more like more regurgitation about big markets and big news. They aren’t saying anything new at this point and they cater more toward their personal fandoms. There’s a more direct “screw you” attitude I just can’t get down with anymore. At least when Chris was around, there was valid reasoning behind his attitude. This just feels like being jerks for the sake of it.
2023-03-19
3. A genuine critique - I love listening to these guys. I’ve listened to this show consistently for about - years now so this is my honest opinion from watching the show evolve over the years. I think since Wess passed the show has lost the one person that is willing to push back against Dan on a consistent basis and I think the quality of the show has suffered a bit as a result of that. And btw the show is still pretty great I listen every week, but Dan is a just such a massive cynic when it comes to literally anything outside of the Jets and the guy is constantly crying when ppl criticize his team. He’s very very sensitive. It can be a bit unbearable to listen to at times. Especially considering the fact that he’s always the first person to throw jabs at/patronize other ppl but when those jabs come back his way he’s never a good sport about it. The show could really benefit from more push back against the host. Not confrontational of course, just less of the one sided discourses where Dan can just say whatever he wants and no one calls him on his missteps. Because like I said, Dan is ALWAYS the first person to call others on the podcast out on missteps no matter how small or big. I’d just like to see that energy reciprocated.
2023-03-16
4. Cow boys - I love this sport I love cow boys they can make the play off they are my favorite team they can beat the Super Bowl. Some times this sport can be hard but you never give up people love it some many want to go to the Super Bowl let me tell you this get to this place and be or over to get it
2023-01-24
5. Great host chemistry - I must admit, I didn’t like this podcast at first listen. But it has since become my favorite football podcast. They aren’t into Xs and Os — head over to Robert Mays and Nate Tice at the Athletic for that — but their pure love of the game, from its absurd aspects to its beauty, shines through. And their personalities complement each other perfectly. I’d love to hang out with these guys over beers. Dan might be the perfect podcast host, from his voice to his ability to helm the ship. Marc’s sour demeanor and contrarianism are a welcome counterpoint. And Gregg is kind of in the middle, like the straight man. Don’t sleep on Gravedigger either — he times his interjections well (and has a great drop).
2023-01-21
6. Decent - The content is good for a novice football fan. You get a general idea of what’s going on in the nfl. They don’t really go in depth to teach you about the game. There’s a lot of commercials. Like, every ten minutes there’s a break and there’s only two advertisers per episode, so you hear the same add like , times, which is annoying. I’m curious if there’s an ad free option with nfl .
2023-01-18
7. Best overall football pod - I listen to all the major football pods. So many pods. If a stranger asked me to recommend one show, this would be it. Just the right amount of big picture, mixed with just the right amount of granular details. You come for the football, but you stay for the friends. I wish they released the YouTube episodes faster. There are reasons to watch on YouTube, so I’ll listen to other pods first, and then pray the video is out. Often it isn’t. I love the content though absolutely love it.
2023-01-16
8. Great Show! Except… - Awesome show, informative and entertaining. The one drawback to the show is that the host (Hanzus, who is otherwise excellent) has two annoying habits: ) Constantly talking over other hosts, audio clips, etc ) Making a snake sound on the weekly draft show (which is horrendous when listening to show with earbuds) Small potatoes in the grand scheme, thanks for the weekly goodness

1. Great Dynamic - These guys are such a good team. Ryan is like the quarterback keeping the group flowing, Fred is the secret weapon coming in with great questions and Channing is the locker room guy making sure things don’t get to serious. Loved the PK interview because hockey needs more fans from diverse backgrounds. Keep it going boys!
2023-01-05
2. Inspiring - I’ve always been inspired to work hard to get to where I need to be and I put a lot of pressure on myself to be great at my profession but listening to these different successful people it shows me I’m already great because I put everything into it. When I get to where I’m going they will be interviewing me
2023-01-01
3. Ryan Leaf interview - Really enjoyed the interview with Ryan Leaf. He spoke candidly of his short time in the NFL and spoke of the self inflicted struggles and how he has a purpose in life. He discovered he was depressed and needed help and didn’t ask feeling he would be considered as “weak”. It took going to prison and having a brain tumor to realize he has worth. Good job guys!!
2022-11-30
4. Great podcast - Very interesting dynamic between all three of the host. Ryan is the more serious one and ask journalistic questions. Chan is the nine serious one. Fred is usually quiet but sometimes comes through with hitter questions. Overall I love the content, I love that they try to focus more on the real life side of things.
2022-11-01
5. Appreciation! - I don’t write reviews or call in to shows. But, I’ve become a consistent follower. I appreciate what I believe to be the authenticity and sincerity of the podcast. You guys do a great job of representing the culture and allowing your guests to represent themselves. In these times it’s refreshing to listen and get a fair representation.

6. This has quickly became my favorite podcast - So it took me awhile to listen but when y’all interviewed Jamarcus Russell I have to admit as a raiders fan I had to listen.. every interview is so different and u guys drop real knowledge and care for one another.. but my favorite ABSOLUTE FAVORITE THING BOUT THE SHOW IS CHANNING CROWDER that man is absolutely hilarious it’s just great to have a podcast with former nfl players and great players at that…Channing u was good but not on Freddy’s and RCS level still love u though keep it going guys great amazing stuff

7. Channing Crowder got y’all a new subscriber :) - Met Channing Crowder at Kevin Hart in Brooklyn, had no idea about this podcast but my husband is a huge fan of it. Such a nice guy who actually took his time to have a conversation and didn’t feel rushed. Thank you for being so kind and down to earth. Because of that, I came home and started listening to the Pivot and you guys have another fan :)

Comments
1. Excellent show - It’s like finally finding a friend that has reasonable football takes. Conversational, not full of endless hot takes, I feel like this podcast is a bit of a throwback to two guys who grew up listening to some of the older radio greats. Pretty cool guests, too. I miss sheil kapadia!
2023-03-22
2. Must listen - This podcast is truly something I look forward to. Mays is a phenomenal analyst with a great hold on all that goes into the NFL landscape — everything from game tape, to defensive schemes, to roster construction. Nate Tice is also great, and the two have really fluid chemistry. I also really enjoy the local team reporters Maya brings in. The podcast is also extremely informative, without being inaccessible to the interested fan. I feel like I come away a smarter football fan after every episode.
2023-03-22
3. Great football podcast - Update: every episode has multiple commercials for gambling sites that run longer than Super Bowl . When you’re advertising a product that requires a warning that runs at double speed and still takes over a minute to read, there’s no way I’m going to listen to it. I still like Mays and Nate has grown into being a good podcaster after starting off raw. I’m all for these guys getting paid but the gambling commercials feel like they’re longer than the show. I’ve been listening to Robert Mays’ podcast since he was with Grantland and as consistent he is with his opening line he is with his hosting. He’s knowledgeable and curious and a good interviewer.
2023-03-09
4. Best football podcast out there - Mays and Tice are the best at analyzing football while also having fun and interesting conversations about the sport. There’s not a better duo in the podcast game that provide the in-depth detail while also showing a genuine love for the sport. They’re informed and passionate - can’t ask for anything more. Plus Mays is a Bears fan and so he knows exactly how to turn self-deprecation into humor.
2023-03-03
5. Great insights while still being comprehendible - They walk the line really well between giving deeper analysis compared to what you would hear on football TV programs while avoiding going so deep that you can’t understand it. You can clearly tell the level of thought and predation they bring to each episode.
2023-02-24
6. Best NFL Podcast - Hands down the most consistent and best NFL podcast. Mays is genuine, intelligent, insightful and brings a wonderful humility. Tice should join him for every episode and despite being a badger, provides cogent and poignant additions. No self-aggrandizing between them or the smirking, condescending tone taken by the current Ringer crew.
2023-02-23
7. Football the fun way - The Athletic has assembled an amazing stable of sports journalists, each with their own unique expertise. The Athletic Football Show provides multi-faceted insight into our favorite NFL teams from those who have been on the sidelines, in the draft room, in at the press conference. Robert Mays is like you and I, but he has smarter friends. And he makes every conversation interesting and fun. I could listen to Robert and Nate Tice talk about football (and everything else) all day. It’s not easy to listen to a talk show, learn something, and have fun all at the same time, but dammit this crew makes it happen! Great listen every time.
2023-02-19
8. Come for the analysis, stay for the food recs - If all I ever got out of this podcast was the recommendation from Robert to go to Rose Mary, that would be enough to rate it stars Instead, this is consistently one of the most interesting, informative, and fun football podcasts out there. Robert and Nate are clearly great friends who are having so much fun doing this podcast together and it’s a joy to listen to them break down the MFL each and every week

1. The Best Podcast. - This is by far my favorite podcast. I need to get a notepad like Bucky when listening because of how much I am learning. Rhett and Lance need more love for the great work they do. DJ has quickly become one of the most respected names in the business. These guys could absolutely run a team. Thank you all for your content, look forward to your shows all week!
2023-03-24
2. Lions Draft - Your choice for Lions at six is not too bad but the better choices Joey Porter Jr. He fits with what the lions are looking for. He’s got Grit, he’s got size, he’s got the skill set, he’ll make a bigger impact at . Then at . You get it wrong, the lions will not take A.R. at instead, they will take Bijon Robinson Bijan, he has a bigger impact on the offense immediately, A.R. is a third round Malik Willis type quarterback, and unless he falls to the second or even third round Detroit’s not picking him, they are definitely not gonna waste a pick in the first on a guy who will take two years just to learn how to play quarterback.
2023-02-25
3. Love all the content - // At : Caleb Murphy . sacks. Is that a mistake saying he set the all Division record ? I thought Derrick Thomas had sacks his senior year at Alabama! // - On top WRs. The discussion went into Brian Hartline’s run of impressive WRs even naming J.Williams along with Olave, G.Wilson, JSN, and next years Marvin Harrison Jr. All respect to Hartline for his fantastic recruiting but Ohio State have been signing top WRs for the per cycle for the last years per Sports so they’d better hit on some of those guys. Not all of those guys are developing, but when you put numbers into a position along with tons of talent several have to pan out.
2023-02-18
4. College Question - Hey guys love the show, I’d love to hear your guys thoughts on how the College Program GM role is going to effect job openings at the NFL level. Seems like most years top level College coaches are looked at as prime candidates for Head Coaching jobs in the NFL. Do you think College Program GMs will be looked at for potential GM openings in the league? Seems like someone with hands on roster construction experience and obviously a ton of tape study given how fast rosters shift at the college level might have a leg up on candidates from other NFL teams personal staff who have played supporting roles but never had their full blueprint on a roster. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the differences and pros and cons! Thanks Guys!

5. All Football. No baloney. Except Rhett Lewis - I really like that DJ and Bucky are all football. They don't get into other nonsense like a lot of sports "radio." The tell it straight, they break it down and they keep moving. I could listen to Bucky and DJ talk footballl all day long. But every Monday, Rhett Lewis wrecks the chemistry and ruins the show. He talks too much, he talks too loud, and he goes on endlessly. When he is supposed to make one point, he jams in and meanders all over the place. He tramples on Bucky and DJ and sometimes I wonder if he’s ever going to let them speak again. A great example of this is how he goes on and on in November th wrap up show. He seems to be trying to prove that he knows a lot rather than work with DJ and Bucky. Please give him some feedback on how to get better. Lance Zuerlein would be a much, much better fit as a third member on Mondays.

6. Pre Snap Motion - I love the podcast. It is a must listen right when it’s downloaded. I do have a question, does it seem like the Packers are using a lot less pre snap motion this year? Are there any stats to back that up and do you think that’s why their offense hasn’t been as good this year as it has been other years under LaFleur?

7. Can’t with Rhett anymore - I’ve been listening to this pod since either the first or second year of release. It used to be my favorite NFL pod. Three years ago or so when Rhett started participating in the show, it started going downhill for me. I’ve hardly listened this season. It might be time to reevaluate in the offseason and go back to the original duo. Might start listening again come playoff time.

8. Updated review - Still the best podcast on NFL Smart informative relatable and funny Which begs the question Why on gods green earth do I have to hear Dan Hanzus commercials per episode He is none of those and the constant interruption of that annoying unintelligent and unfunny voice is off putting Have to ask Does he have pictures of Goodell or something? Steve Palazzolo and Sam Monson bring you an NFL podcast unlike any other, because it comes backed by Pro Football Focus and their unique data insights. PFF watches and grades every player on every play of the NFL season to give you a look inside the game nobody else can rival. From uncovering secret superstars around the league to discussing which teams are best positioned for a Super Bowl run, Steve and Sam use football's most in-depth database to create an informative listen for every level of...

Comments
1. Bussin with the Boys - The segment with Bussin with the Boys was textbook example of how more information doesn’t not change biases; they came on thinking PFF was rigged, asked questions about the process, received answers, and yet found loopholes to leaving thinking they’re still right. ‘Yeah but… you can’t account for every single person that works for the company…’
Ah well. Steven did a very good job managing that segment. Sam, as usual, repeats himself.
2023-02-09
2. Great general NFL chat - This show is exactly what I was looking for. They cover the entire league, with short previews and recaps for each game. It’s a good mix: they bring up Vegas lines but it’s not a gambling show, and they talk analytics without getting too granular. Hosts have good chemistry and conversation flows nicely.
2022-10-18
3. Here for it all. - Before we begin I want to make one thing clear. I love the rugby talk, I love the long episodes, and most importantly I love the actual football analysis. This podcast is great it’s an appropriate amount of depth and analysis. If I wanted to listen to headlines in minutes per game I would go do that. My only complete about this absolutely perfect podcast is that I could use a little bit less honesty about my Vikings.
2022-10-05
4. Content is Great But They Take Their Audience Granted. - At some point podcast hosts will show enough respect for their audience to not record a podcast where one of the hosts internet connection is spotty at best. If this were radio or television, the offending party would be dropped until the connection would be re-established. Here we had to continue listening to every third word while the host tried to find a better location. Extremely annoying to listen to particularly on the first show after the NFL season’s opening week.
2022-09-12
5. Perfect isn’t the enemy of good - Sam and Steve succeed in making a compelling show about the NFL that is mostly intelligent despite airing for many minutes several times a week. I mean that in the best way possible, although it sounds like damning with faint praise - it’s hard to make quality NFL content several times a week, especially during the offseason! Coming from PFF, you expect a higher level of discourse for stats, player evaluation, and narratives compared to the average NFL pod, and they mostly deliver there. They get stretched thin at times and end up defaulting to silly narratives or pointless comparisons, but overall they stack up well against the other options. Even though they are more “analytics” focused, they have great chemistry and are one of the best NFL pods in that category, far better than all the other PFF pods that swing wildly between frat-boy idiocy and bespectacled nerd vibes. Their great chemistry (not quite camaraderie) gets you through the rougher points, like when Sam tries to explain his understanding of some new social media phenomenon or when Steve tells a baseball anecdote. In the right mood, those interludes are almost charming. Truly the flagship show of PFF, they are the only reason I’ve given a try to their other podcasts or authors beyond their draft coverage. Give them more respect, management!
2022-09-10
6. Overall decent podcast but – - Does anyone else notice that Steve cannot help but get defensive about Tom Brady whenever another good QB is brought up? At first I thought it was just part of the analysis, but recently when Sam says anything positive about Aaron Rodgers, Steve has to interject with ‘Yeah, but Brady was better because…’ I understand having a rooting interest, but isn’t PFF supposed to provide unbiased analysis? It feels like Steve is more concerned that Brady’s legacy will be hurt by acknowledging that other QBs are good. Makes me doubt the objectivity of the his takes. With that said, Sam has decent analysis and the show is pretty entertaining (even if not always objective).

7. Good pod but is definitely an anti-mahomes circle jerk - If mahomes throws a shovel pass TD, they will not miss it. shovel pass TD and downfield TDs? "There goes mahomes getting schemed up again..." Mahomes escapes Ravens pass rush and throws cross body to kelce who makes an incredible play? "Mahomes with another dump off TD" as if it was a screen pass. Then, they will go on to say chiefs are the best team in the league and will win etc. Still a good pod tho. stars. Just don't know why they're sick of mahomes doing cool stuff

8. Greatest Football Podcast Ever - It took me forever to find a quality NFL podcast. I feel like I have listened to every single one and can honestly say none of them compare to the PFF pod. Also, as a psychology undergraduate student, it is so awesome to hear Steve and Sam break down biases in the NFL and disproving narratives with science. Well done! IG: @jacobrobertmorrill

1. Don’t Monologue Us, Chris! - Totally pumped to hear the post-Super Bowl pod. But OMG , Chris did a one-man show w/Kyle & Macon unsuccessfully trying to make it a conversation. After minutes it became a convo & was much, much better. Take a breath brother. Good cast of characters. Use ‘em. Let the interaction breathe.

2. Day listener - Yo green light pod crew, been listening since the beginning. Really enjoying the show and how it has progressed. Personally I found the longer shows (and more shows/content) to be great and fulfilling. I keep learning more and more about a sport I was seemingly walking away from but now I enjoy more then ever. I appreciate all you guys do and look forward to ever episode/interview, keep up the great work.
2022-11-27
3. Thank you to Chris and all of the Greenlight pod - I just wanted to say thank you to all of the Green light pod and that I hope you are able to find peace in the coming day. Chris, your touching word for the UVA players, staff and community moved me to tear. I could feel the pain and emotions in your word. Thank you for your vulnerable in sharing these word, emotions and pain that you are experiencing. As someone who lost a friend to gun violence, it means to hear you express this pain. Prayer for Greenlight, Charlottesville, and all the UVA family.

4. Where is Dr. Fax - Shout out from the great grass growing state of Tennessee, except for my lawn! I’ve enjoyed Green Light since the beginning! An easy listen with a lot of great sports and pop culture discussion. Chis and the variety of Co-Hosts make me laugh and it feels like a family/friend hangout at the bar, especially Macon’s corniness! Where’s Dr Fax? Tyler

5. Love it - real deal - I love listening to people who can share their thoughts, listen to others, and have some common sense all while talking about sports and life. Long, Russillo, PFT and Big Cat, seem like good people and I like listening to them. Big fan of long, the draft of music festival needs to be revisited.
2022-07-07
6. On a roll… - Been listening off and on since inception and have to say the show is on an ascending improvement curve - now I’m a frequent flyer!
Dr Fax is a good add - definitely need to send him to remote events! Like the pillow fights! Bring back Nicki Glaser! Funny she’s from St Louis and Chris played in St Louis…
2022-07-06
7. Chris LONGGGGGG - Randomly got recommended Chris LONGGGG on ig. (After seeing some of the selfies or um bulges I see how he got the nickname) but I’m confused why you guys talk about sports so much is he not in the adult film industry? Would love to here your guys dabble more into that where Chris LONNNNGGGS real expertise is. Until then only four stars sweetie

Comments
1. Sloppy, repetitive, highly speculative, bias - Every once in a blue moon it’s ok but they really need to get some new material. Mackey is arrogant and if anyone disagrees with him he gets very annoyed. They bend everything to fit their narrative. Judd offers decent perspective and has some original takes and Declan is smart when he’s allowed to be but I can’t get over the host. Oof
2023-03-11
2. Really good podcast, just a couple thoughts - I listen every day, and I love Judd and the boys. But the comments about Mackey are somewhat accurate lol “when will you admit that you were wrongggg” is sarcasm, so you should actually admit that you were wrong from time to time outside of Write This Down. You’re just a fan like the rest of us and a good podcast host but sometimes you denigrate your fanbase who doesn’t agree and act all annoyed with them. Btw this isn’t about Kirk, I’ve agreed with all of you on everything regarding him haha. Just my thoughts, keep up the good work.
2022-12-28
3. My new daily addiction - Phil, Judd, and Dec find a way to talk about the Vikes EVERY day. Forthright, fun, and incredibly insightful. My football IQ grows every day and my purple passion continues to climb. Best place to go after a game (you tube) for celebrating a victory or for therapy after a loss. One message and one mission. One Super Bowl before we die! Skol!
2022-10-22
4. Vikings Fans Who Are Tired of Mediocrity - Phil, Judd and Declan are die hard Vikings fans who are just tired of the most Minnesotan saying of “There is always next year”. They are tired of mediocrity and just want the Vikings to win a Super Bowl. They are fun to listen to each day of the week as each show has a different title and different information brought. They also live the “reckless speculation lifestyle” which basically is spewing hot takes, similar to websites that offer trade/free agent speculation. All in all, a great show for Vikings fans who are tired of watching a team sell hope each year by narrowly missing the playoffs and want the Lombardi Trophy at TCO Performance Center.
2022-10-14
5. Best MN Vikings Podcast…hands down - Phil, Judd & Declan are true Viking FANS. Phil and Judd are past beat writers, they’ve been in the locker room, they have reported on this team. Now they take this knowledge and experience to give great insights into what may be happening with their team. What I really appreciate is they do not drink the purple kool-aid but will talk about problems they perceive and ways they could be corrected. When they have been wrong they are not afraid to say they were wrong and why. I love listening to these podcasts everyday. A bonus to great information is they can be hilarious. You Berber quite know what you’re going to get but whatever comes it will be great
2022-10-13
6. Purple Daily ROCKS!!!!! SKOR KFAN - Phil, Judd and Declan bring their purple “A” game literally every single day. If you’re a diehard Vikings fan like myself, you’d be absolutely foolish to pass this show up! They bleed purple and the takes/talkers are endless, UNBIASED (unlike KFAN) and top notch! Keep it up, boys! SKOL!
2022-09-12
7. Annoying - I used to enjoy listening to y'all but now you panic over the most stupid things imaginable. Who cares if practice is sloppy on the first day of practice? Not me nor any sane Vikings fans. Who cares if Chris Reed starts at Center? he had a good PFF grade. Also you bash cousins way too much. Purple FTW is much more enjoyable imo /
2022-08-09
8. Great show. - As someone who lives out of state, the Skor North daily content is massive for me. I rarely miss an episode of either show. I appreciate people willing to tell it like it is and reject mediocrity despite the fact that “Minnesota Nice” has programmed most of your audience to accept it.

1. Great Listening with Coach Tomlin - Love this Podcast! I laughed so hard at the Coach Tomlin one! Enjoy hearing all the stories, especially the ones about Ben’s broken nose, so funny! Coach Tomlin was at home and seemed to have a good time. Would love to sit down with you guys and have a beer myself! Lol

2. Came for football, stayed for beer talk. - Sadly, I did not know this podcast existed even though I am a lifelong Steelers fan. I read about it in a website link about Ben’s comments about Pickett. I clearly glossed over the total summary when I came to the show. I expected a fantastic football discussion, but I missed anything about beer. What a bonus! Definitely part of my rotation now.
2023-01-18
3. Fun podcast! Jersey recommendations - Love the beer reviews and football talk! I will say I love the bumblebee jerseys but they should have been paired with all black and ditched the tan and striped socks. Basically the color rush setup with the bumblebee jersey. My love for the bumblebee jersey is that EVERYONE knows what it is and living in patriots country means that you want to make sure people know you are not a pats fan Love the all black color rush and throwback block lettering the best. I wish they would make a setup to honor the steel theme and bring in a metallic look on the helmet instead of the glossy black. Otherwise the classic steeler look never gets old!
2023-01-13
4. So awesome! - I love hearing all the Steelers stories and just Ben’s take on what it was like playing! My husband and I were born and raised Steelers fans and bled black and gold everywhere we went when he was in the Navy. We also have a love for different craft beers and will most likely be making some suggestions from some of our favorite breweries! Keep up the great work on this pod!

Comments
1. Snyder to the Nats??? - What if! Snyder sells the Commanders and purchases the Nationals!!! Skipper Dan would be a more accurate title If he owns the Nats!!! By the way if Loverro can watch Stranger Things. He needs to get Game of Thrones! Just swallow your pride and watch one episodes and not about the fantasy dragons but more so the character development! Love the show. Love the back and forth with the random conversations about beers, babes, and pinball machines!
2023-03-24
2. Lou from Landover - A very interesting and informative show. Apparently the g in length and strength is silent? Who knew? Great listen for Commanders fans, if anyone willingly wears that label. Also there is apparently a basketball team in the area called the Wizards that Kevin occasionally updates us on.
2023-03-24
3. Great addition to my library - Found Kevin’s podcast about a year ago and been a loyal, weekly listener every since. Especially love listening while playing Madden. As i went to write this review i happened to the show is rated “Clean” and that just makes it even funnier everytime Kevin drops an f-bomb and doesnt bat an eye. LOL great stuff week after week
2023-03-24
4. This show often makes me hungry - The only podcast I never skip. Kevin is stubborn, Tommy insufferable - but it works. As much as I enjoy the sports, the non-sports banter might be my favorite part, especially the food talk(see below). Keep up the great work, gentlemen. P.S. I’m a few weeks late on this, but tell Tommy he can get a delicious Monte Cristo at Clarksburg Tavern on . It’s no Shelly’s Back Room but it’s close to Frederick!
2023-03-23
5. Review - I love listening to Kevin and Tom. They insult the intelligence of “some” of the Redskins fan base(also known as their listeners) every chance they get and yet we keep tuning in. As a matter of fact the more they make fun of us the more we tune in. For years Dan Snyder has insulted our intelligence so I guess we are conditioned to this kind of treatment. Keep up the good work guys we are always here for more of it just ask the Sailing Man Dan

6. Hail - Long time listener and huge fan of the pod. As a Skins fan from NJ I even stick around and listen to the Terps talk for some info on a Big Ten rival. (RU!). Cooley was one of my favorites on the field and it’s super cool to get a glimpse into what his life looks like post football. Cant wait to hear what he thinks heading into the draft! Keep up the great work Kev!
2023-03-20
7. Don’t tease us - Kevin, love the show but your latest title was a let down. I know you’re a huge college basketball fan but I don’t follow it at all. Football is all I follow and Washington has been my team my whole life ( years old). I loved Cooley as a player and have loved him as a commentator as well as on the radio with you, and separately with Czabe and Galdi. I wish he was on your podcast more but most importantly I was really hoping he’d get a shot at coaching. Your latest title “Cooley to DC!” got me very excited when the notification came across my phone screen. Then I read the episode description and saw it was about college basketball. I should have known because I heard you talking about it on your radio show this morning but when it comes to you I always think of Chris when you put “Cooley” in your show title.
2023-03-20
8. Kevin’s QB/a Cognitive Fumble - Long time listener and the show just keeps getting better! One of the shows strenths is its lenth. A little disappointed, though, that the guy who can squeeze five seconds at the end of the half so hard it becomes three plays would whiff so badly on behavioral economics. Whether a QB was selected in the first or fifth round should have absolutely zero bearing on how long to stick with them. It’s a sunk cost and that draft pick is gone. Whether you paid a dollar to listen to a local dive band, or a thousand dollars to witness the musical genius that is Tommy, you should leave the venue the moment you stop having fun. Staying with something longer just because you paid more is Snyderesque thinking. Thanks and keep up the great show!

Comments
1. If the Pats didn’t do it, it doesn’t matter. - If it’s not something the Pats have done or something Al Davis told Lombardi it doesn’t matter. Clearly he’s got a ax to grind with the Giants. Not sure if it’s the Super Bowl wins against the Pats or if he didn’t get considered for a GM job but there’s certainly some hurt feelings there.
2023-03-20
2. Mike is smart with his insight - But sounds so dumb at times when he says, “pitcher” instead of “picture.” And yes, the Sopranos are great. But we don’t need quotes or references to each episode. Otherwise, great show. And how is Femi a Cowgirls fan from Seattle? Another bandwagon Dallas fan, shocker.
2023-03-17
3. Still no host who can hang with Lombardi - Michael Lombardi knows a tremendous amount about football - on running a team especially (and obviously, as the show name states). Femi can’t keep up, has nothing to add to the conversation and frequently - in his brief summations of a segment before moving on to the next one - gets the summary wrong. Lombardi needs someone who . understands the league enough to ask relevant follow up questions, and . is old enough (or cultured enough) to get all the references and can counter with their own.
2023-03-09
4. Great Pod - One of favorite pods each week! Wish it was longer. ML is hilarious and tells it like it is, which is rare in the media now days. Ties it to leadership and a coaching personnel background. Could listen to his stories all day. And unlike ppl that act like their tied in, he actually is! Can’t get enough sopranos, u two should start a pod on that! Bottom line this is a top NFL podcast out! Bring the sopranos talk back!!!! Tell Femi to get to work watching it! Please bring it back
2023-02-24
5. It’s called GM shuffle, not point/counter point with Feme and Mike - Not loving the chemistry between Mike and the new host. I think Adnan and Tate worked better in terms of setting up Mike tell us how the game is played and managed. The goal is to inform us and “make us smarter” as viewers and fans. The new guy likes to talk about the Cowboys, his bets and whom he thinks is a good player/team. He may be right, but I’m tuning in to listen to the GM, not necessarily to listen to two people go back and forth-I can tune into PTI or First Take instead. Also, the side chatter isn’t as good. Mike is Mike, so if he wants to go off on the Sixers, the Sopranos, Goodfellas,Frank and Dino, he needs someone to riff with. I don’t know if Feme is on the same wavelength; he usually just gives a chuckle after one of Mike’s rants and the conversation generally dies off after a brief pause. They either need to work on the chemistry or find a new co-host.
2023-02-21
6. Like it … but - The football material is fine. Lombardi has worked with various teams and has some good insights. But there are some tired themes that he won’t let go. He likes to rail against the many who claim Tua is better than Herbert. Those people are never identified (I have never heard anyone say Tua is better). We can’t make it through an episode without bringing up the Sopranos. That show has been off the air for years — please let it go. It’s like that annoying friend who wants to keep re-hashing Seinfeld. And a question on point spreads, on which Lombardi does not only to tenths but hundredths. That is, in his opinion Buffalo is . points better than Cincinnati this week, while Philadelphia should be a .-point favorite against the Giants. There’s no explanation of how he’s getting to those micro-numbers. He’s going behind half points, quarter points and even eighth points. It’s weird and deserves an explanation.
2023-01-21
7. Outstanding - Love the show, and I listen to every episode. I love the insight from Lombardi, who certainly makes me look at the game differently. As the GM shuffle transitioned to a new host, I was a little hesitant, but Femi is amazing. Very fun, enjoyable, and educational. Extremely underrated show!
2022-12-17
8. Mista Joe - Michael Lombardi‘s insight, knowledge and experience is truly exceptional. Listener’s can learn so much from him on the nuts & bolts of the NFL and player assessment and development. His Al Davis impressions are hilarious. More stories on Al, please. His ability to weave in cogent thoughts on leadership (that can apply to any industry or company) really makes this podcast unique. Finally, one of his greatest strengths is that he tells it like he sees it, regardless of how painful it may be for people to hear the unvarnished truth. That type of candor is quite rare in analysts and people in the sports industry. Give us more, Michael!! You are the best!

1. BYoung Eva - I see Bryce Young listed at - / to - / in a lot of places that actually post half sizes. - is the generic rounding up listing. He’s also always been a top flight prospect. So he has been measured A LOT. I dont think he’ll come in under -. And I think there is zero chance he weighs in below let alone .. he’s working too hard. I think he’s going to show up ripped tbh and put all the doubt to rest. He’s really not a small guy. He just has a unique frame. Carries his weight a little narrow in some areas which cheats the scale. He’s a strong dude in general. Much more durable than a guy like Tua. Check the elbow girth. That’s where you really want your QBs to size up. He’s got solid EG. Besides all that he’s an awesome player and has stellar character. All systems go.
2023-02-13
2. Most unique view of the NFL around - Dolphins fan here, and Braves fan (sorry Connor). Love the pod and the unique view you give draft fans and football fans year around. One request… can you discuss the Dolphins a little more and what their needs might be instead of just skipping over it as forfeited? Assuming that will come down the road, but it’s not our fault Stephen Ross is an idiot. Enjoy listening as always, guys!
2023-01-24
3. Draft Idea - You guys should snake draft teams where every player has to play both sides of the ball. on . Or like on with lineman if you wanted to cut it shorter. Me and my buddies did it once for fun. Hot take, George Kittle is an elite TE/DE. Just a Wolverine rushing the passer Thanks guys, you’re the goats
2022-10-26
4. Well-rounded Exellence - I was a listener of Trevor and Ben on the Locked-on draft podcast and was sad to see it end. Then a shining light emerged from the darkness about a year ago as this new podcast emerged. Trevor and Connor do a fantastic job and have great chemistry together. They have great insight, thoughtful reasoning, and just enough fun & humor without trying to hard for it. They also do not carry the snarky, intellectual elitism that usually comes with a PFF podcast. I don’t give out reviews very easily, but this one deserves it. You guys have made a great podcast and keep it up, and don’t forget the simplicity that makes it great. Thanks!
2022-10-26
5. Mail bag question - Long time fan of Conner since STF days now a fan of both you guys. As a Oregon fan Mario Cristbol is great recruiter and motivator as a coach, but looking back how bad did he hold Herbert back in college. Especially seeing how much of a star he was from the jump ? Also should we be worried about the same thing for TVD now ? Thank you
2022-09-14
6. Staple - Sup sweeties. Thanks for being here for me whenever my newborn baby’s crying gets to be too much to handle and I need to be entertained. My being a sex addict is what led me to this draft dad life. You lot better help see me out of it. Love the content. Keep it coming. MAILBAG: How has your top RB ranking changed now that football is finally back? Take that answer and now consider the following: Braelon Allen and TreVeon Henderson are able to declare as a part of the class. How do your rankings look now and why isn’t Braelon your unanimous spot?
2022-09-06
7. Eric Gray - Trevor you COWARD! How could you disrespect YOUR SON Eric Gray, RB, Oklahoma? Last year’s summer scouting you had him RB (Solak had him ) and this year you left him out of your top . He’s the most untouchable RB in the country and is literally the second coming of Barry Sander. Other than the Eric Gray SLANDER, this podcast is /. These guys are elite at what they do.

8. One of my must listens - Hey Guys,
Love the pod. Before my question, Trevor the Packers jersey is a throwback from the s not a color rush just to clear that up. However, my question is should the NFL revise the three years post high school to be draft eligible? For example, maybe elite players, like nick or Joey bosa or Leonard fournette, could apply to a review board to enter the draft early? Instead of waiting the full three years elite players who can play in the NFL should sooner should be able to. Keep up the great work!!

1. Too many downloads - I like a few shows on VSIN but following them means you get EVERY hour of EVERY show which is annoying to go through my latest episodes since half of them are VSIN shows I’m not interested in that take up storage. Would be better if they were able to break each show into its own podcast like what ESPN does with their shows.

2. NFL Overload - Would’ve been stars if you guys didn’t talk about the NFL days a year. Even during the fall you guys give way more time to the League than College Football. But especially during the football offseason you guys could do so much better covering baseball golf UFC and basketball in the spring and summer months. Otherwise I’m a huge fan of VSiN just wish you’d go into deeper dives in the other sports when football is dormant.

3. Lombardi is CARRYING this podcast. - Michael Lombardi is the only person I can listen to on these podcasts. Everyone else either makes frequent statistical errors or just doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Too many ads as well. It’s just not structured well, it needs a complete revamp. Whoever hosts Lombardi Line (the guy who’s not Michael) can barely speak English. I’ve counted at least speaking errors so far. These “action updates” are just terrible and useless. There are much better sports betting podcasts at there. I’d like to see Lombardi separate from VSIN and go make a similar betting podcast with actual decent podcasters that can do their job.

4. Please fox the audio issues - I love all the shows but please fix the audio issues. Sound is only coming out of my left earphone for the shows. The sound for the commercials is fine and coming out of both earphones and please normalize the volume of the commercials and the production. Come on audio producers! As Belicheck says, do your job!

5. The Lombardi Line - The Lombardi line better known as “The Repeater” he is overrated he is overrated, who’s he going to throw to who is he going to throw to. I don’t think they will score I don’t think they will score. He won’t throw down field he absolutely won’t throw down field , thanks repeater

6. Gill Alexander please stop talking and kissing hosts rears - Try to find the guests and hosts in the details, however, many times they don’t display that information. Anytime I see gill Alexander need to turn it off. Gab fest with no pertinent information or insight..otherwise, shows are fairly good. Get rid of CRAPonberger and the sportbook lead filler times
2020-09-07
7. Great betting information! - Matt Youman s is my favorite & refuses to agree with the “pc” media. One of the guys (won’t mention any names) loves to say “Well this team has gone over their last / games..I’m betting the over in this one” their bet seems to go under every time. I wish they understood the bookmakers adjust and that’s no way to bet buttt still very entertaining shows & I’m gonna miss them this next month or so with no sports :(
2020-03-14
8. No good don’t buy it ! - Started out good but musburger is MIA and these other people are duds! Half the “plays” if not all are bum steers and don’t have any other purpose but to shill for the books that are not getting any action, drumming up bettors to lay money on sides the books need to pad. Too many random “experts” pop in and out, who are they ? What is there stake? And the books send in their bosses? Conflict of interest!

1. Used to be good - To be fair, I should’ve rated this a couple years back when they were very good. This used to be a star show. Joe and Kyle really do know football and had a great podcast that was very informative. Now, it’s like a bad version of a stupid morning radio show with dumb humor, off football topics, and lame sound effects. Very disappointing guys. You are better than this.
2023-02-19
2. Terrible - Thought I’d give a new show a try and what a disappointment. The episode is ‘breaking down the latest top ’. So what do they do? Spend more than minutes talking about friggin SpongeBob. Then - more minutes of exposition into their process mixed with dead air. Then they mention a couple of risers and fallers before diving back into SpongeBob. It honestly sounded like stoners in their garage… “ of my top weren’t there before senior bowl, so that’s one out of… uh… deep… (dead air)… ??? Get a host who isn’t on drugs and can guide this show. Literally the least entertaining or helpful thing I’ve listened to in years.

3. Love you guys, improve audio match - Hey everyone. Love this podcast, I’d recommend it to any NFL fans. Great combination of knowledge/in the weeds with fun, hot takes. Note for TDN team, sometimes Kyle is louder than the rest from a mic perspective and lessens the listening experience. I still finish the episode because it’s great content but figured I’d provide the feedback.

4. Stadium food tier list item - The bag of Fritos item sounds like a walking taco, very underrated concessions item. Bag of Fritos, load it up with taco meat, cheese, jalapeños, any taco toppings you’d like really. Additionally, it diminishes the threat of mess making that comes along with standard tacos. Would highly recommend should you come across an opportunity to try a walking taco

5. Plea from an Eagles fan - Hey guys. I want to start out by saying I love the pod, have been listening for years, and am a TDN premium member. I greatly appreciate the year round content. As an Eagles fan I have one small request. I am very happy that you guys recognize how good Dallas Goedert is, but I humbly ask Kyle to correct his pronunciation. It is pronounced God-ert, not Go-dirt. Aside from that, job well done and keep up the good work!

6. Takes on Takes - Hey Gents! You guys rock, I’m looking for a take from all of you on the following: The AFC playoff race will be tight once again this year, each game will be vital. For the upcoming season (not beyond), which of these shortcomings is the biggest oversight heading into training camp: ) Baltimore’s WR room
) Cleveland’s QB situation
) Miami’s RT debacle
Other? As a dolphins fan I can’t help but stare in disbelief that the very position that can easily be blamed for missing the playoffs last year is still the biggest question mark. (The matador is gone, but replaced by a camp competition between underperforming players) Thanks for your work! Mario

7. Be better - Again, they show a huge lack of knowledge in the nfl. They just talked about trey lance and said their main outside zone back is Jeff Wilson. Just say you don’t watch nfl. It’s pretty bad you don’t even know the starting running back on one the teams that went to the nfc championship.
2022-06-14
8. Good info, but - Joe and Kyle are extremely knowledgeable and have excellent insight on the NFL Draft. However, the production quality and oftentimes background interference is distracting. A little more seriousness surrounding the final product would make this THE draft podcast to listen to. But the constant coughs not taken out, terrible mic quality, and recording shows next to active highways make this a difficult listen.

1. Mailbag question! All Kirby all-star defense - Hey guys! I love the show and I have been listening since the Barton days. I even appreciate Danny’s insight now whereas before I just ignored him because I thought he was an SEC hater. My question is:
If you could assemble an all star defense from Kirbys time at Alabama or Kirbys time at Georgia, which defense would you pick? All players would be in their prime and as long as he was at either school while they were there, you can choose them.
Kirby had some amazing players at Alabama, I think of Minka Fitzpatrick, Jonathan Allen and Ruben Foster. However I would pick the Georgia defense because of guys like Travon walker, Jaylen Carter and Roquan Smith. (Full disclosure I am a Georgia fan!)
Who would y’all pick?

2. Every day listener - I’m a truck driver and I listen to this podcast daily, really helps the time go by faster! Born and raised in Michigan so naturally I’m a die hard Michigan fan, but my other team is Virginia tech. After watching all the success Virginia tech had from - under frank Beamer, and then watching fuente ruin them and the program fall off a cliff, I’m wondering what it’ll take to return them to a annual win program again. Watching Michigan dominate makes my heart hurt when I have to go watch my hokies get destroyed in the next time slot. Love the show, go blue, Ryan day was born on rd base, tuck is coming for -

3. Best college football pod - I listen to just about every college football podcast on my minute commute and this is by far the best. Been listening since . RIP Barton. PS Barton and Bud had the greatest podcast season of all time. Mailbag: If Paramount made a college football show like Netflix does for F, which teams (one from each power conference and G) would you want cameras on in ? I would pick Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Penn State, Florida State, and UTSA for the boom or bust potential for drama. Go Johnnies!

4. Sad/Hopeful Cal Freshman - Hey all, Love the show! first time long time. My question: what is the ceiling for cal football and how can they reach it? It seems to be they are doing an okay job with NIL, but is Wilcox the right guy for this job right now? As a follow up, I’m a current freshman in Berkeley. How many wins will Cal get total over my next years here (please don’t make me sad)? Thanks y’all! Go Bears!

5. Mailbag Question - Have been listening to the Cover Pod for almost a year now and you guys have become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to every week. My mailbag question for you is besides Caleb Williams and Drake Maye, who are the top quarterbacks heading into the new season? As well as some quarterbacks you guys think people should watch out for that can make a statement and have a great year? And as a New Jersey native, will one of those qbs be playing for Rutgers hahaha. Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks guys, love the show. -Scott

6. Mailbag Question - Love the show! Been listening for a long time! Perfect balance of football and entertainment! My questions are that Auburn over the past decade seems to either to have an average season, just to lose a bowl game or by some miracle of Jesus competing to win the SEC or National title. Do you think under Hugh Freeze Auburn will have more consistency in recruiting (like top classes) and competing for titles then Gus and Bryan? Would you go over or under that Hugh Freeze has at least three win seasons in years?

7. Great pod for both in season and the offseason - Great pod as always and curious I know is been a bit, but with it the off-season and cover book ideas? Either college football related or just in general. Question: Oftentimes we look back at coaches leaving jobs for “better one” and reflect that maybe the grass wasn’t greener. Which current head coaches do you think fit perfectly where they are and would not necessarily work at a “better job”? Meaning that the location, expectations, possible play style and recruiting base fits them perfectly.

8. Fight Club Seeding - Long time listener from when it was just Chip & Barton. Appreciate the camaraderie of the Team, and the evident passion they have for CFB. Question - in the spirit of March Madness, who would be the top seeds in a FBS Coaches’ Fight Club Tournament, and who would be the bottom four seeds they would square off against? What would the Money Line odds be in each of those battles? Thanks and keep up the great work.

Comments
1. Need more - Too much wasted time just talking circles about something irrelevant, and not doing enough actual analysis. Carm talks the most and says the least, only finding a way to get off topic. Adam and Nicholas, sometimes Will, are the only ones who provide any substance to the conversation and insight from a football perspective. This isn’t barstool rundown, unless that’s what you guys are going for. Podcasting daily gives us our “itch” for bears talk, but there’s so much more potential from a content standpoint.
2023-03-14
2. Last option for Bears news - CHGO is a great concept. I get the start-up of buying out fanalyst pod audiences and letting those hosts stick around. But they are difficult to listen too (especially Carm). If Adam Hoge is not driving the pod, it isn’t worth my time. I do think adding Corey Wooten was a great move. I do enjoy his contributions. The rest of the guys are just sloppy and talk over each other and don’t stay focused. Case in point, show on // was minutes with maybe - minutes of actual Bears/combine stories. Worthless ramblings and Carms obnoxious verbal juggling. They are figuring it out and perhaps will mature as they add actual talent and lose the fanalyst hosts. Until then…they are my last stop for news.
2023-03-03
3. My favorite team ever - Been a Bears fan since I was or ( -). Saw them play in Wrigley Field in ‘ and ‘. Will always be a Bears fan no matter what. When I discovered podcasts a while ago I found CHGO the same week you started. I listen to a lot of Bears podcasts, but I like yours the best! It’s going to be an exciting off season! Can’t wait for us to legitimately in the playoffs ASAP.
2023-01-09
4. Shorten it up - This show would be a % better if they cut it down to about minutes and only talked about the Bears. It is mostly just rambling about stuff no one cares about with some Bears talk thrown in there once in a while. The guys seem pretty cool and knowledgeable about the Bears but I am minutes into the latest and almost zero Bears talk. It’s kind of weird. I hope they change some things soon because my willingness to listen is becoming less than my willingness to keep hitting the second forward button
2022-09-27
5. I can’t take it anymore - I’m sorry but this is like Lebron trying to carry mo williams and boobie gibson to a championship in ’. Nicholas Moreano is not ready to hang with Hoge. I have tried, and tried, and tried to give him a chance. But he never says anything interesting! He just doesn’t! And it’s written all over Hoge’s face. Everyone who has come over from Hoge and Jahns cannot help but notice the abundant lack of chemistry, and Moreano’s genuine lack of insight. And please Nick for the love of god get a new microphone. The tin can echo further degrades the quality of your content. If you are trying to use this to fill the Hoge and Jahns void, you are going to be in pain for the duration of Hoge’s silence each episode. Jahns for Alderman. The co-host we deserve.

6. wednesday revoiew of OTA - Adams praise for Steve Kerr and Beto o’Rourke was an invalid solution. Look at the shootings and crime rate in the cities that have stringent gun control laws and see how effective those have been. Chicago is a prime example of ineffectiveness of gun laws. A vulnerability assessment of schools needs to be done so that individuals who are not supposed to be there don’t have ready access to the school zone. Where I live there is a single point entry available With high fencing around the school. Gun laws have not worked – – but common sense solutions would if they were implemented.

7. Great podcast with in depth coverage - I love this podcast. I have been a long time listener of nick and will (back to the “brothers”) and really think that the team at CHGO are informative help me stay connected to the bears since I live in California. I listen daily on my commute to work. Keep up the great work P.S. My wife and I will be attending our first home Bears game this year vs Miami. Would love a chance to say Hi…
2022-05-27
8. Danny Trevathan in a wheelchair - I gave up on this podcast when one it’s hosts joked about Danny Trevathan showing up to training camp in a wheelchair. Essentially making fun of the player because of his injury history; this a former Bears player that gave everything he had for the team. Also the hosts spend way too much time chitchatting about the weather, their jersey collections and that one time they dunked in high school. They want to add personality to the show but they are not interesting. While Olin Kreutz’s physical attack on one the hosts was awful and I agree he should have been fired - he was the best thing about the show. Don’t waste your time - this podcast is weak on real football experts and doesn’t offer much in the way of Bears insider information.

1. Absolutely Love It!! - Domonique offers such an honest and thoughtful insight, that this podcast has quickly become one of my absolute favorites! I also really enjoy the ‘Roses and Thorns,’ portion of the episodes! It’s a celebration of not just Black Love, but Marital Love, regardless of race!! I love their energy, their banter and how it is expressed! Ashley and Domonique, y’all may need to consider a spin-off together!

2. Who is Old Money Charlie? - On a number of episodes - namely Kyrie and the recent one on Lamar’s contact I find myself cringing at Charlie’s perspective.. is he more so playing devils advocate so you can get out your thoughts or is that how Charlie really kicks it? The dynamic is good and I love OMC from the LeBatard days I just often find myself saying “really Charlie?” On matters of race and class
2023-03-09
3. Love the show, but roses and thorns…? - Dominic and crew love your show. I like the way you go through topics in a different way to go deeper. For example when you spoke about Kyrie in this week are you spoke about Luca. I’m glad that you include your wife and angels in Torrance, but after a while, with the fast talking and going into her favorite TV shows into my new detail, it gets to be a little much. I’m so glad however, that you do share this with your loved one and more power to you. God bless brother.

4. Pablo Torre - Jerzyxplorer Ok. This how great Fox is. He had Pablo Torre on and everyone knows Pablo kind of pontificates all his views Foxworth made it cool to have him on because he’s a smart dude that can speak to his audience and make them feel connected on all these points of views like you’re talking to your buddies around a beer!!!
2023-01-22
5. stars, Because I am Not a Hater - Have loved listening to Dominique back to the Foxworth Fridays on The Right Time. Was so excited when this podcast started out, and it’s only become progressively great. The content and wide range of topics covered are always interesting and entertaining. ALSO, love roses and thorns segments with his amazing wife.

6. Dominique Charlies Ashley - Excellent podcasts! Foxworth You and Charles and Ashely You and Charlies debate which teams have the potential to make a run in the playoffs after a slow start, Then we have our first mailbag where you guys only the most important questions like which NFL Quarterback would make reality tv star After that, you two wrap up with more winning bets!

7. AITA???No. - Let me preface any of my comments by saying I am a huge fan of Foxworth, always excited to see him pop up anywhere whether it be ESPN or other podcasts. But can I say I'm pretty disgusted right now. He and Bomani Jones go after Russell Wilson relentlessly and maybe there are points to be made about him being insincere and phoney. Sure. But maybe I missed the part where he threatened and abused his children and their mother? Tyreek Hill for MVP though, sure. The things we'll look over for "Football Talk". To reiterate, I'm disgusted and this show isn't really for me. I tried.
2022-11-08
8. I want to listen to you not the other guy - I know dom does a lot of stuff during the week. Get up, Mina’s pod. Bo’s pod. Debatable. I enjoy all of those better than his own show cuz the other dude talks too much. Seriously cut to once a week. I love listening to you and Dennis. I skip the pod when it’s just you and the guy.!

1. Combined my Favorites podcast’s - Big fan of Robert Mayes since his Ringer days. Have listened to every Hoge and Jahns podcast they have ever done. Nate Tice is excellent addition to the Athletic. Listening to all talk Bears was best podcast ever. Insightful explanation of why Poles May be in a hurry to trade first pick. In fact, I hope he was listening.
2023-03-03
2. The Adams! Bear down! - These guys really know their stuff. They follow the Bears closely and provide great insight about how the Bears operate and the current state of the club. They are knowledgeable but aren’t know-it-all’s. The type of guys I’d like to have a beer with. Hoge and Jahns is the best Chicago Bears podcast available. Keep up the great work gents!
2022-10-26
3. Love these guys! - Have been following this pod for the last few years on YouTube. They’re my favorites when it comes to Bears coverage. They’re real people & I like that. They joke, occasionally swear, talk about their lives, it’s like being part of a Bears friend group w/ guys that have been around & know their stuff. When they have guests, it’s always great conversation too. They’re fun, entertaining & insightful. If I could give them more stars, I would!
2022-08-19
4. Content been lacking lately - I always have enjoyed the podcast as a subscriber of the athletic last few years but recently the content has been lacking and more generalities content. Would like more in depth of Bears players acquired in free agency. Been going to other Bears podcasts for in-depth coverage.
2022-04-06
5. Entertaining and informative without trying too hard - My only complaint is the occasional swearing for no good reason. I want to listen in the car while toting the kids around but I can’t trust Nate Tice’s mouth or the occasional cuss from the hosts. I get that the Bears make you want to use bad words but I want to be able to listen with my kids in the room.
2022-03-13
6. Eh - Generally these guys were the top reporters. Pods were entertaining, insightful, and had legitimate critical thought. They used to look at both sides of the story, develop their own thoughts and analysis, and took us behind the scenes at Halas. Lately, Hougee ;) seems to be pandering to the masses, drawing surface level conclusions and focusing on the “low hanging fruit” of feeding the crowd’s frustration with the bears. He’s lost his objective analysis and turned into another Bears podcast any of us who follow the team could do - losing his previously insightful perspective that came from covering the team close up. These guys have real potential and haven’t completely lost it - but the show has been on a steady decline lending to little insight gained and lots of “friend at the bar” analysis.
2022-01-12
7. The best Bears info going - These guys work their tails off to deliver content. They released a regularly scheduled podcast on a Tuesday, throughly covering and trashing a potential Andy Dalton signing, and saying it holds whether they sign him or not. Bears sign Andy Dalton and they’re back hours later with another podcast to cover it. Their opinions are a bit homer-ish for me but stick with Hoge and Jahns and they will take care of you.
2021-03-18
8. Like listening to well informed friends - I feel like I get to know these guys personally, and they have a lot of inside info that others do not. It’s clear the Bears organization trust these guys and there’s a lot of good insight from them and their guests. I’m a smarter Bears fan for listening to them.

Comments
1. Too much agenda pushing - Not to be sexist, but I like my football to be talked about by people who played the game! I really don’t want to hear women push their women in football agenda. I want to hear people who know the game inside and out. From he trenches to the edges, football me please, save the agendas for the Ellen Degenderes show.
2023-03-20
2. Used to love, now it’s just a yelling fest. - I used to Live this show and listens to it religiously. But recently it’s become a yelling fest, with each host trying to out-yell the other. I can get about min into each show before Kyle’s voice becomes so high and loud I start getting a headache. And can’t even understand what each person is sayin when or all yelling at same time. I miss the old show. Time to find a new NFL daily show.
2022-11-09
3. Cheeps - I absolutely love this show. My only problems are that the show does not always translate to the podcast, and that sometimes the episode does not get released until like a day after it originally aired. Other than that I love it. Jamie and Jason aren't as good as Nate and Kay but they are still awesome. Also can we stop with the Tracy Morgan ads!!!!!!!!! “Uber one member Tracy Morgan here, yesterday I was on the streets and a guy said hi Tracy Morgan why’d you join Uber one so I said hello stranger because Uber one gives me five percent off rice percent off my snacks and zero dollar delivery fee he said that’s a lot of good stuff so I said I concur let’s be best friends be my best friend too join Uber one.” That was all based off of memory… GET RID OF TRACY MORGANNNNNN lol
2022-09-27
4. Extremely Biased - “Cardinals, Bucs, Packers” but the DALLAS COWBOYS are as good as the rest. -, -, -, - they are all leading and are all for real. Dallas has been playing lights out, we hate when they are down but to turn their team around the way they have we need to give them their praise that they have clearly earned.
2021-10-12
5. Meh. Not the same - This pod used to be good. Well, i really enjoyed the older episodes with them ranting about real life as well as football. The old podcasts were amazing. How can the good morning football podcast not include the amazing tv personalities from the show. This is the Will Selva show. either being the crew back or rename it.
2021-08-07
6. Podcast or dance track - Why on earth are we playing music over the host the entire time they are speaking? That coupled with the awful audio quality of the hosts setup makes this podcast unlistenable. Fix the audio and ditch the music cause the content is actually really good, concentrated, quick, relevant.
2021-06-26
7. Great listen - Will Selva’s knowledge runs deep. He’s the true Larry Marmie of broadcasting. Insightful and entertaining. Most other NFL podcasts sound like the host was out getting bartenders calls it shots the night before. Not this one. Montree called me up and was half way into a story about the Niners but I had to cut him off. Keep making great podcasts that don’t bring me dowwwwwn.
2021-05-17
8. Good news podcast - I listen to this every day. I listen to it because it’s very informative and I learn my daily NFL news from this podcast. The only bad things are that it’s only - minutes and that it doesn’t have the main cast. No disrespect to Will Selva, but the main cast has a lot of chemistry and work very well together so I’d prefer to have them.
