1. Great romance and adventure - This is one of those rare occasions where I loved the second book in a series more than the first! What stood out to me the most was how much action was depicted with the scenes of Elijah and his crew rescuing sailors and passengers from boats that hit rocks or sandbars during frigid storms on Lake Superior. I loved Elijah's passion for saving lives that otherwise would have been needlessly lost. His love for Victoria seems hopeless, but they continue to encounter each other and their restrained affection creates a palpable romantic tension. Every character in the story is flawed (some more than others) but all came to life because of their determination through the struggles each faced. I was sad for the emotional abuse Victoria endures from her family and Gilbert and how each attempt at expressing herself was met with contempt and manipulation. Thankfully she forms an unlikely bond with Elijah's defiant sister Rebekah and through her example learns of the true source of strength and confidence- relying on the Lord. Elijah and Victoria each focus on certain scripture verses for help as they struggle to follow their hearts amid pressure and conflict from family and the community. 1. Clean romance - Both Gilbert and Rebekah have a facade up- hiding the longings for worth and love. They've known each for a long time, been friends but now they are grown up. I love the complicated and yet simple story of flawed people realizing their need for a savior and finally finding God's peace. Each book has a scripture that the characters learn to apply to their lives. The repeat of the scripture as the character seeks to understand is helpful in my own walk and application of scripture.

2. Great addition to the series! - We get to know Rebekah and Gilbert in the previous books in the Eagle Harbor series, and they are both difficult characters. I couldn't wait to see how their story would be told. After some humbling experiences in the previous book, Gilbert is forced to reevaluate his strategy on accomplishing his goal of building the crane he engineered. From an outside perspective, he seems selfishly bent on making this business venture successful at all costs, but as we learn about his real motivations his true character is revealed. Rebekah is a strong young woman, stubborn and desperate to prove to her family that she can contribute beyond what the norm is for women of the time. Even though she acts hardened and tough, she is still naive about many things. Her eyes are opened to more harshness and cruelty on her journey, yet her compassion makes a difference in the lives of those she reaches out to. The overall mood of the book is anxious since there is so much injustice in the lives of the characters, but the fighting spirits of Gilbert and Rebekah propel the story forward. The attraction between them is something they also fight against, but as they learn to turn to the Lord to direct their paths, they find that they are being led toward each other instead of apart. I was happy to see how things came together in the end, and already can't wait to read the next book! This is the third book in the Eagle Harbor Series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. However, we get to know the main characters and families in the previous books so I think they are best enjoyed being read in order. A wonderful marriage of convenience story full of heart and emotion! - Love's Eternal Breath is a wonderful marriage of convenience story full of heart and themes of compassion, mortality, and faith. Lindy had been a minor character in the previous books, so I loved learning her full story, even though it's heartbreaking. She seems to have lost all hope in her dreams, yet is using whatever energy she has to earn money to help feed an impoverished family hiding deep in the woods. Seth shares her characteristic of being selfless in the service of others with his passion for doctoring. I loved his earnestness even though he has had some experiences in his past that jaded him. When the reasons for Lindy's phobia of doctors comes to light, Seth does all in his power to earn her trust and eventually her love. There are some difficult obstacles, including internal ones, but the strength of Lindy and Seth shines as they turn to God and each other for support. I loved the setting and could really get a feeling for the era and the harsh conditions, as well as the beauty of the wilderness. Highly recommend this book and the entire Eagle Harbor series! 1. Amazing series - I just finished the last book of the Eagle Harbor Series. I am sad to see it finished. It was such a awesome story. Couldn't put the books down until they were finished. I am so looking forward to the new Texas series. For now I will click over to the book store to see what else Naomi had written. I really enjoy the way she tells a story makes you almost able to see it.

2. Wonderful book! - Love’s Bright Tomorrow is a well written book. A wonderful story of faith, family, hope, courage and love. The characters are very well developed. You truly feel like you know them. I got drawn into this book and did not want it to end although I rarely read historical romance. It keeps you on the edge of your seat; definitely a page turner. Throughout this story the author weaves God's wondrous words and love along with lessons about trusting God while navigating through trials and tribulations. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This is my honest opinion.

1. Borrowing Love - This was my first book in the series and I loved it. After haviing had family members who were killed in a plane crash and having been in a scary car accident I can totally relate to what Ruby was going through. It was so inspiring to see her work to overcome her fears and the see the power of love. I really liked the setting in NM and the hot air balloons.

2. Couldn’t Put it Down! - This is another winner for Kat Bellemore. I love how her characters are so human with their own hurdles to deal with, yet so lovable. Be prepared to hunker down and keep turning the pages as it’s hard to put down! There are surprises and humor to keep it fresh and original.

3. Overcoming Fears - Ruby is afraid to fly and ride in a car after her parents died in a car accident and her husband in a plane crash. Parker has a crush on Ruby, but he’s upset over her standing him up for a date. Her feels bad when he realizes it is her fears and his cologne that made her do it. Parker was a jerk at first and I was surprised Ruby would agree to go on an overnight trip with him with her fears and not knowing him well and that he would book only one hotel room. Funny moments in this book overcame some of the awkwardness.

4. Thrilling story! - I am so much thrilled with this story. After starting it, sleeping the night, I had to finish it before doing anything else. I think the struggles Ruby is facing after three deaths is so true to life. Some people just are so bound up with fears that they isolate themselves. But Parker comes back into her life and it’s “game on”. He is just the right person for her. He has his issues that create a little “hick-up” & that is needed for him to get over his “marriage has to be perfect“. You have to read this story. Kate Bellemore is one of my favorite authors.

1. Happily Ever After in a great town - This is another sweet read in the Starlight series. Adeline Baker's chocolate shop is to feature predominantly in a Hollywood movie. She has tried to steer clear of Hollywood types since her father left her mother and herself years before. Adeline makes fine chocolates and her shop does a nice business, but the payment for allowing her shop to be in the movie will help to tide her over during the non-tourist season. She didn't expect to fall for the star of the movie. And since he assumes the personality of the characters he plays, she's not sure who she's falling for. Adeline's discomfort with the relationship causes the famous Eli Hunt to reevaluate everything he's thought about himself. I love the town of Starlight and the people who live there. I'm sure the people who have already discovered Starlight will love this story too and those who haven' read the previous books in the series won't have any trouble falling in love with the town. The book is well written and the characters are sure to remain in your thoughts after the book is done. This book is a fun read and has an unusual Christmas story wrapped in as an extra bonus. 2. Beautifully sweet start to a new series - I loved Kat’s “Borrowing Amor” series so I was excited to see that she is releasing a new one! This series starts with Eli and Adeline. Eli is an actor and his latest film is being filmed in Adeline’s chocolate shop. Eli is a method actor but he wants to break character so that he can get to know Adeline on a personal level. 3. Playing a role - Adeline really did not believe they would shoot a movie in Starlight Ridge. They do and when Adeline meets Eli the sparks fly. Eli when he takes a role never breaks character, or almost never. Can they both learn to let go and have a relationship? I thought this book was well written and the plot flowed. 4. Adeline and Eli - I didn’t like how Adeline kept placing bets with the people in Starlight Ridge that she knew she would most likely win. But they get her back in this book in a hilarious way. If I worked in chocolate shop like she does I would either put on weight or go into a sugar coma from my chocolate addiction. Eli’s extreme method acting meant he pushed everyone away while he focused on the character he was playing and that hurt him in his personal life. Adeline makes him break character and notice her and wonder how he could live that way. The Starlight Ridge townspeople are a riot and they make me wish I could visit there. There were so many moments were I laughed, smiled, and felt the emotions of the characters. It was great to catch up with Caleb, Bree, Leanne, and Isaac from the previous books in the series. This was another Hallmark Movie worthy clean sweet and funny romance.

1. So much fun! - This was a set of three love stories, and they really entertained me. They weren’t soft porn, either, so there was no ickiness I had to scroll past. Just heartfelt stories of love and healing. Some humor and suspense thrown in...and each story included elements of life I knew little about - homelessness, ballooning, etc. It was fun to vicariously explore new worlds through the characters’ eyes. Love the NM setting, too.

2. Wonderful box set - I like all of these stories. This is a cheaper way to get all of them. You need to read them in order because Kate focuses on people in each book with other people from previous books weaved into the story. I love Kate Bellemore as an author. All the stories are clean, wholesome romance stories.
