3. Julio is one of the best! - His music is just so wonderful to listen to. His voice is so wonderful to hear after all of these years! Once i found this album I remembered how much I love his music. I am going to buy EVERY SINGLE SONG because they are all so amazing. For a first time listener I would recommend: Morrinas Viejas Tradiciones Ron y Coca Cola Hey! Paloma Blanca These are my top five of this album and I think that anyone can enjoy them :)

1. Agustin Lara - I see Agustin Lara as a premier poet. If you listen to “ Arrollito”, Silverio” and “Janitzio” only three of the many songs they will positively move your soul. Unfortunately, you have to understand Spanish. I was listening janitzio after looking up the word and finding out that it is an island where Agustin Lara spent his spare time. I looked up pictures of the island and then the song came alive! Wow! I was mesmerized by his eloquence. I highly recommend his music for your listening pleasure.

2. JJ el Mejor! - Creci escuchando la musica de este idolo, mis papas, especialmente mi padre siempre ponia sus discos... Ahora, llevo su musica en mi sangre y en mi alma... 5. JJ el poeta - LIstening to him as a child...I never understood the expression on my parents face while singing along to it. Now as an adult I hear it and I truely love it!!! his words and melodie are true love. We should take note of how beautiful emotions can be expressed. 1. while in spain - in i visited spain on a week trip. in my travels i kept seeing this album cover as a billboard. just to satisfy my curiosity i purchased the record and brought it home to pennsylvania. within half a year the stack of julio records in my collection was almost too heavy to lift. and i made tapes of music for all my friends, most of whom became big julio fans. this particular cd sounds so great, especially with the huge 'echo-y' production. and the song 'esa mujer' appears on all cd's that i make for friends. absolutely first rate music from a classy artist. saw him live also. ole.

2. Pretty Sweet - I love the occasional Mariachi tune, but often times the recordings are all modern with synths in the back... I feel sick talking about it. This album is awesome. real music for real people. Don't be thrown by the crazy album art. It's a solid recording... but you may need to boost a bass a bit.

1. Frustrated - Why is it that iTunes doesn't put more attention to 'oldies' Latin music artists? When you finally put an artist one is looking for, you put an album of that artist with half the songs that made that or those artists FAMOUS and fill the rest of the album with songs that never made it to the radio!!!! Don't you guys (iTunes) have a rep. or an advisor from Spain, Mexico, Argntina, Brasil, Venezuela, etc.. that tells you "...yeah, this song was very famous in the late 's in Spain, or this song was very popular in Mexico in the late 's, this other one was very famous in South America in the mid 's..." come on guys. You are doing good, but you are also somehow dropping the ball by not "keeping in touch" with the Latin market. Artists like Raphael, Camilo Sesto, Amanda Miguel & Diego Verdaguer, Lila Deneken and many others are missing quite a lot good songs, if not, all of them. Put the album that has the song "Perdóname" sung by Camilo Sesto himself in the Latin iTunes list!!!

3. El mejor disco de Camilo Sesto - Gracias a la Srita. Morquechhh conoci a Camilo Sesto alla por cuando en la Secundaria me presto un disco de Camilo.De ahi en adelante me converti en fan de este excelente cantante y compositor que con este disco titulado "Mas y Mas" que salio a principios de la decada de los ochentas dio cuenta del mejor disco de su vida y uno de los mejores y mas comerciales de esa epoca cuando en ese entonces todas las canciones se escucharon en la radio (antes solo habia pasado con "Intimamente" de Emmnuel, ambos programados en la radio por el "espiritu del radio').Excelente disco para los fans y para los nuevos de esta generacion que no lo conocen, aqui tienen a Camilo Sesto en el pinaculo de inspiracion y voz.Cd super recomendable.

1. La Voz - Felipe Rodriguez (La Voz) fue simbolo de una epoca. La epoca de la vellonera en el bar de la esquina. Alli luego de unas copas, se depositaba una moneda de cinco centavos para escuchar las canciones que, por amor o desamor, retrataban nuestros mas profundos sentimientos. Eran lugares donde el licor se confundia con nuestras lagrimas para dar rienda suelta al dolor provocado, tal vez, por una desilucion. Fue una epoca que recuerdo con mucha nostalgia.

Miedo - Los de itunes con la esperanza de que algun despistado no supiera quien era Chavela Vargas y comprara el cd, pues pusieron en la portada a una chica que NO ES Chavela y para que no se espantaran con su voz, solamente ponen el empiezo de la cancion y con muy poca voz de Chavela.Lo anterior es para advertir a despistados. Y para los que saben quien es Chavela y les gusta esa voz arguandientosa, de dolor de trueno como es el desamor, les recomiendo este cd que tiene joyitas como Rival, Las Ciudades, Se me olvido otra vez y por supuesto Pensa En Mi.Muy recomendable, sobre todo para despues de la fiesta que con unos alcoholes encima queremos cantarles a los amores que se fueron.

No son Tangos, Tangos-Not - Fernandez no es un estilista, y defenitivamente no sabe nada del estilo de cantar tangos,es peor que el album de Julio Iglesisas de Tangos, las melodias ,la musica es destruida,irreconocibles, con un estilo mexicano-balladistico que no va con el tango,y las trompetas,por favor! Solo para fanaticos de Fernandez,pero ojo,que nadie crea esto es tango. Los americanos son los peores recreando tangos,pero esto lo supera. Si te encanta tanto el tango tradicional,o moderno,evita este album.
