1. My new favorite running podcast (and I listen to weekly) - I grew up North of Duluth in Two Harbors and Kara was a local hero! I didn’t start running until college and now have been running years. Kara is so relatable as a runner, mom, friend, so much more. Des is a favorite of so many too as she beats to her own drum, is so real and gritty and I love how Kara gets her to up up a bit more /pushes her in a way that is so fun and endearing. Y’all are the best and love your honesty, humor, & education on running and all that goes along with it whether you are an elite runner or am everyday runner like myself who treats Boston like the Olympics

2. Best running podcast - I finally made time to listen to this podcast, and now I am fangirling all over the place. Two charismatic, talented women talking a about running. Could I ask for anything more? This is seriously the best of all the running podcasts out there. How do these ladies not have sponsors yet? I am officially obsessed and can’t wait for each new episode.

3. Love this podcast, but… - I truly enjoy the conversations Des and Kara have in this podcast! But I do have one gripe. Of course I want to hear their personal opinions and experiences, but some of the conversations seem to be unnecessarily geared towards putting down a certain brand. As a Seattle resident, I love my Oiselle and Brooks and % find value in supporting the smaller companies; but, I also believe in supporting the sport of running as a whole. I’m going to keep listening to them because I love them together, but I’d love it more if there was less finger pointing.

4. My favorite podcast! - I love Des and Kara! I’ve been a fan for a long time and appreciate what they’ve done for the sport so it’s such a treat to get to listen in on their conversations. I read Lauren’s book after the episode with her and it was awesome! Immediately gave it to my daughter who is a high school runner. I can’t wait to read Des and Kara’s books and listen to many more episodes!

5. Awesome Podcast - Just loved the st three episodes! What a great idea, two of the most tenacious competitors in American running history, two of my favorite athletes and just grounded, authentic and genuinely great people! Tremendous roles models for everyone, especially other females athletes. Keep up the great work I have added this to my must not miss list, can’t wait for Desi’s book launch!

6. Introverted Truth Tellers - Honest…vulnerable…hilarious!! I love how you “unintentionally planned” Kara’s Girl Talk game experience and Des’s viral post about Salazar and the backpack…Both clearly connections of emotional abuse targeting young women in games and sports. I love and relate to their resolute spirits shining in an introverted but open platform!!!
2023-02-16
7. The best!! - I’ve never rated or written a review for a podcast before, but felt very compelled to for this one. This is one of the best new running podcasts…and I’ve listened to a lot of them! I’ve been binge listening to them on my runs as I prep for my first Boston! It feels like I’m with my running gal pals. I love these ladies so much. They are very real and endearing. I appreciate how down to earth they are and very genuine they sound. It’s also nice getting a perspective from pro females. So rare. As a year old hobby competitive runner, I’ve looked up to these ladies running all my life….pretty sure I raced them in footlocker back in the day too! Haha. Keep the podcasts coming Des and Kara!! They’re so good!

8. Don’t expect just running - Much kindness and personality from two legends of running in the US. Fresh and clearly unscripted but thematic. Fascinating peek behind the races, Strava files, social media, and mics at the profession of running and sports broadcasting and being a human who has achieved on a world stage

1. My favorite podcast!! - I was never into listening to podcasts before Ali on the Run. I was looking for something different to listen to during my runs because I was getting bored listening to the same music. Ali has made my runs so much more entertaining!! I even find myself laughing while running!!! I love her energy and the people she talks with. I love stepping on the treadmill and turning on my podcasts to find she has another new episode. I even joined the Bayshore Half so that I could hopefully get to listen to Ali Live!
2023-03-18
2. Best host ever - I’ve been a listener for years and will remain one forever. She’s the best host. So cute and engaging, asks great questions, connects with guests, and makes everyday runners like me so much more connected to the sport. It’s also the only podcast where I actually listen to the ads bc I like how creatively she writes and speaks about the advertisers. That’s for all you do for women and girls Ali!
2023-03-15
3. My favorite podcast - I love this show! I’ve been listening for a few years and always feels like I’m listening to a conversation with my own friends with how funny some of the conversations are. Ali is so relatable which makes this show even more enjoyable. Thanks for all that you continue to do to put this show on for all of the running fans out there. Sorry I’m just getting to writing my first review now!
2023-03-08
4. My favorite podcast! - Ali is real, approachable, listenable, funny and endearing and she brings this out of every interview. It’s such an enjoyable podcast that I look forward to. The episodes fly by because they’re such engrossing listens and cover a wide range of topics. Love this podcast so much and would recommend it to any runner and anyone!
2023-03-01
5. Ellie’s interview - I just wanted to say this interview resonated with me. Im just an average runner whose goal is to do a marathon one day. Ive done about halfs but now have some adductor tendinitis issues that calls for running about - miles at a time and -x/week at a much slower pace that I was at. Now im mostly on my Peloton bike and doing their strength classes on the app. But I really wanted to hear about an average runners’ first marathon and their lead up, etc… I was able to relate more to her than of course the pros, even with her issues she had on race day, all of it was very informative. This just puts a fire under my butt to try to hit the pavement more and try the doctors again about my running pain. I typically always just do the k here in Atlanta for the Peachtree Road Race on July th but I think Ill try to dip my toe back in and hit a k or two.
All that to say, a very enjoyable interview about her first marathon. Great work Ali!

6. My runs are forever changed! - Ok- I’m new to the listening to podcasts while running group and I’m forever changed!! Listened to Ellie Kemper on my mile run and then Claire Holt and pushed the run to .! I’m a slow runner who takes lots of walk breaks and found the miles rushing by while listening, learning, and laughing with these amazing guests and Ali is phenomenal! One thing from each that struck me: Ellie you need to watch Gone with the Wind! It’s my favorite book / movie! Claire- loved your raising money for Boston Children’s (I’m from MA). / will be listening to more podcasts on my runs going forward!!
2023-01-14
7. The BFF Podcast You’ve Been Needing - Started listening in after I was cleared to run again and CAN’T STOP LISTENING!! I went back to episode one and my gosh - I knew it was highly recommended, but now I know why for myself!! Ali brings on a fun mix of guests who are inspiring and intriguing. I’ve learned something (running related or not) from every episode. Since I typically listen while running/working out, I truly look forward to those moments for more reasons than one. Thanks for being my sidekick on the run, Ali!
2023-01-14
8. Hilarious - I’m not one to review podcasts or much or anything for that matter, but this one warrants a shout out. Had me nodding my head, laughing out loud, looking like a crazy person while walking my dogs in the park. The chemistry between Ali and Ellie was perfect- and relatable. I’ve often compared marathons with childbirth and might even consider another one if an epidural was involved. Thanks for THE BEST pod of the bunch and please, please, please have more funny guests

1. Helpful, informative, interesting! - Chris does a tremendous job with this podcast. Let’s be honest - the weekly topic of running could get very stale, but not here. He does a great job of keeping each episode very enjoyable with relatable tips that you can really apply to your own running. I love when he mixes in current events in the running world and provides his perspective. My favorite episodes are when he previews big races and offers tips - these have been super helpful in the past. Also love Chris’ smooth, soothing voice. A great listen and recommended for all runners!

2. Very relatable - Thank you! Episode really hit home. I appreciate you listening to her running journey and digging into realistic ways to accomplish a big goal. Lots to take away from this episode. I always find your podcast very helpful and this one, definitely got an A from me! Keep up the great podcast! Patty

3. The Best Running Podcast - I've been listening to Chris since . He transformed my running because I hung onto every word and little by little put into practice everything he was saying which ultimately allowed me to qualify for Boston. This also led me to join his podcast training group in . He's a big reason I decided to become a running coach and create my YouTube channel, Running With Jane, so I could help others like he helped me. Thanks for an awesome podcast through the years...much appreciated!

4. The Best Podcast About Marathon Running - I started my marathon training journey earlier this summer en route to the Marine Corps Marathon in October (my first). I have listened to many run-related podcasts but Chris’s podcast is by far the best. Why? First of all, his content is far-reaching, in depth and always helpful. Any time I wonder “Does Rogue have a podcast on this topic”, they almost always do (sometimes more than one). I have many favorites but “The Church of the Long Run” is at the top of my long list. Second, Chris is willing to share with you what you need to know, not just what you want to hear. Training for a marathon is hard and success requires a lot of big and little steps, many of which can be challenging. Although you might want to hear about “hacks” to running success he opens your mind and soul to the long-term adventure and goal building that running offers. Third, Chris is really easy to listen to when running. He mentioned on one podcast that a running mantra he used for one race was “Run Like Butter”. Well his voice and well organized presentations (with helpful recaps only the way) are smooth on the mind and listening capacity as your brain gets a little foggy on those long runs. Finally, a lot of running podcasts are a little generic in quality. They cover important running topics to be sure but not at the level of depth and analysis that Chris does. He feels like the coach, or the little angel on your shoulder, when you listen to him. If you have time or desire to listen to just one running podcast, this is the one you should listen to. After the MCM, I going to find out how to train with Rogue Running for my future running adventures.

5. It’s great- and an acquired taste - I live this podcast- substantive, specific, always seems to touch on topics when I’m thinking about them either because time of year or time of season It takes an episode or two in order to get the rhythm of a single voice just talking- but once you get the flow you won’t be disappointed.
2022-02-15
6. Just what I needed - I’m a sporadic listener since . The main reason I am inconsistent is because my personal running journey. Every time when I get back on the wagon, this podcast revives and rebuilds my running spirit! One of the greatest coaches for my life and I will more than likely come face to face with Chris. Thank you!
2022-01-20
7. Such an awesome show - I’m an aging middle of the packer, working mom of many, with personal goals and a love for the sport. I adore Chris’ accepting attitude about all paces but still maintains such a high quality, deeply substantive show. I listen to tons of running podcasts. I adore this show. I sometimes go back and listen to old shows to reground myself. So good! Thank you for all you do!
2022-01-20
8. Awesome, deeply thoughtful, well rounded - Great podcast. Chris offers deep, thoughtful reflections about running and training. Running impacts so many aspects of our lives and psyche. I really appreciate how he brings a discussions of race into the conversations. No runner is an island. We are in a community, the bigger, broader the community the better for all of us.

1. My favorite - I’ve been listening over a year, and look forward to a new episode every week. I ran my first k last year in Susanville, CA shortly after turning . I don’t think I could have done it without them! Granted, I did come in DFL. Haha .. but I’m signed up again so maybe I’ll finish before they take down the arch this year!
2023-02-09
2. Giving up on this one - Used to like this show, but I wish the host would be a little more discerning or at least provide some push back when guest come on with outlandish ideas. A nutritionist that doesn’t recommend people eat vegetables!!! Because they have poison!! Come on. There was no challenge to this claim or at least not an honest, more scientific discussion about it.
2022-10-07
3. New to Trail Running - I’ve been flying through the Training Principles, these are perfect for a beginner. It’s motivation, it’s thought provoking, it’s introducing you to professionals, coach’s, experts. I just started getting into trail running this month and I’m excited to take bits and pieces from this podcast and apply to my training. Keep up the great work!
2022-09-30
4. Somewhat Disappointing - First, I’ll start with positives. As a new trail runner, I’ve picked up a lot of good information. They have some good guests that provide some really relevant and useful tips. Then there are the cons. First, I will state that I started back at the beginning, so maybe these have been fixed or they improved. Let’s start with the audio problems. Almost every episode the guests cut in and out, one of the hosts has a mic that’s not very loud and just overall poor quality. This is also an unedited podcast. Please please please edit your podcasts. There is absolutely no reason these episodes should go over an hour. With editing you could cut them to - minutes, giving listeners a good experience. We don’t have to waste our time listening to your nonsensical banter, ramblings, and losing guests on Skype and then having to sit and wait for you to reconnect with them. So absolutely frustrating.

5. Run, don't walk... to this podcast! - Don, Scott, and their incredibly knowledgeable guests cover everything you need to know about running, but in a fun, educational, and approachable way! You’ll get tons of actionable advice and tangible tips, but you’ll also get heaps of inspiration from truly engaging individuals that genuinely want to help others. It's a newfound favorite!
2021-12-17
6. Irresponsible - I listened to Episode with Dr Phil Maffetone where he advocates a high protein low carb diet with no caveats on what type of athlete or scenarios in which it is applicable. I find it really troubling that the hosts do not provide any diligence or critical perspective for the listener. If you listen to Matt Dixon and his podcasts, underfueling of carbs is all too common, which is to say that there’s no single approach that should be taken and one should be careful in determining what type of nutrition approach is best suited to their sport and dietary needs.
2021-10-19
7. Best podcast production out there - The team at Trail Runner Nation has crafted a show that in my mind, rivals the level of reporting seen in big budget productions like -minutes. They bring on the best runners and do a deep dive into optimizing the physical/mental aspects of running. This is my new favorite obsession.
2021-09-21
8. Great for all - I just discovered this podcast yesterday and binged it and will continue today. As someone who is just getting into running to better my health and life as a whole, I have learned a lot already. Don and Scott are genuine and truly funny. Even if I didn’t want to get into running I would still probably listen to them for the guests that they have on and life lessons given by everyone on the cast.

1. Best running podcast - I enjoy every one of these episodes. Topics are very relevant and the guests are highly experienced. Jason does a great job asking all the right questions! I keep learning and i have adopted a lot new techniques that are proving to be very helpful. And if there is a topic that needs further elaboration, a short email to Jason and a massive network of resources becomes available to tackle that topic!

2. Gold mine of great info! - I’ve been running for more than years ( miles a week) and this podcast is a treasure trove of information about cadence, strength, power, nutrition, and is hosted by a phenomenally intelligent and passionate coach. I love the variety of experts he interviews, but my favorite episodes are calls with ordinary athletes he has been coaching, who talk about their very relatable problems. I admit I hate lifting weights and prefer yoga and bodywork to help me run, but after listening I am more inclined to shake up my routine and try to be a less terrible runner.
2023-02-13
3. Gold mine for runners old and new! - As a lifelong runner and DPT, I love Jason’s podcast. So informative for both injury prevention and running performance. I love that he shares the knowledge he has, but also brings in professionals where he has a gap in knowledge. I especially enjoyed the most recent episode about running around work schedule, as I work some long hours myself (especially in this dark dark winter). Thanks Jason!
2023-01-27
4. Great-ish - Jason is very good at repeating what his guests just said, but changing the words enough to make it sound like it was his idea. The information is generally sound, though, so hearing it twice isn’t the worst thing that could happen. I suggest listening to the opening three minutes of the podcast once to hear the pitch for Jason’s coaching business, which is probably good if you have the money, but moving forward you can skip it.
2023-01-21
5. Outstanding Podcast for Runners - As a lifelong runner and PT who works with runners, I find this podcast to be a gold mine of running wisdom. The content and guests are excellent, and Jason does a great job interviewing. This is one of my favorite listens during a run as the conversations are uplifting and motivating. Anndddd to add… the strength running.com content is good stuff, too. I find myself frequently recommending the podcast and website content to my clients. Keep doing the good work!
2023-01-10
6. Fantastic podcast for anyone who enjoys running - As an avid runner, this is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to! Jason does a phenomenal job at asking questions, following up and listening to his guests, all of whom provide value to the show. Jason is also generous with his own advice and expertise, with many years of running and coaching experience. There is something for everyone and I thoroughly enjoy how the topics and his guests vary. The coaching call episodes with “normal” runners are some of my favorites but I also love listening to his episodes with Kara Goucher and other elite athletes.
2023-01-02
7. Excellent show - I have been listening to Strength Running for a little while now. As a newer runner the content has been very valuable for learning about the sport. Jason does a wonderful job at explaining concepts of training in a very clear way that people just getting started can understand. However, even as I have progressed in the sport, I don’t feel that I have “outgrown” the information presented either. There is something for all levels of runners.
2022-12-31
8. Be Careful What Advice You Take On this Podcast - As a PT, I feel that the comments made on your latest episode are disrespectful to our profession and our ability to take an athletes deficits and make sense of their injuries. Not all physical therapists take a generalized approach. I for instance take people through an INDIVIDUAL assessment, give them an INDIVIDUALIZED program, listen wholeheartedly about what the athlete is feeling, and do everything I can to get them back at their pace. Telling people they know more about their injuries than PTs is only going to cause more people to run through pain and not get better. Find the right PT. If you don't like what one has to say, find someone who does the above and nothing less.

Comments
1. Great Info, but sound production need work - Love listening to running-related podcasts during my runs. This is one of the top three I listen to regularly and find it really informative. I did give up on listening to this podcasts during runs due to the volume between interviewer and interviewee as well as the podcast audio in general fluctuating too much (got sick of having to fiddle with my headphone volume controls throughout my run.). Other than the audio production issues/quality, this is a really great, informative podcast.
2023-01-06
2. Pure Gold podcast! - Your latest podcast lessons & reflections from was pure gold. Had to add your thought on pacing to my running journal: “If you run and feel strong and proud and capable and invincible, you’re not going to care what the number is. That’s really what we should be chasing in our running for the rest of our lives.” Great way to start running in !
2023-01-04
3. Recommend to runners of all abilities - Just finished the Chicago Marathon recap.. I ran Chicago in in the heat and didn’t have my best day.. this episode spoke to me on a bunch of levels.. I too finished and didn’t have my best race, but I’m pretty sure I learned more from that race then my marathons that went perfectly. Elisabeth really captured the vibe of Chicago and it was nice to relisten and reflect on my race last year that I memory holed. Keep up the strong content!
2022-10-14
4. content great, interviewing skills could be improved - It feels like the host’s style is to disparage people who say or do the wrong things in order to share what’s “right” and there’s a way to strike a balance between correcting misinformation and being condescending and judgmental. also she really doesn’t ask her guests questions as much as she should - instead, she states her opinions and waits for her guest speakers to tell her they agree. it’s disappointing because the content is very much needed.
2022-10-10
5. Excellent information! - Thank you for relaying important information to all types of runners! You’re a great resource and have helped me tremendously in improving my running training. After a long treatment process and a successful surgery…I’m back running woo! Thanks for helping me along the way! Keep up the excellent job!
2022-06-24
6. Highly Recommend! - I love this podcast for both content and length during my workouts. The information shared here is easy to understand and relates to both running and general health. This is perfect for both new and experienced runners alike. Really, anyone looking for some of the why behind your training, regardless of fitness level!
2022-04-24
7. Essential for any new runner! - I started running at the age of - just a few months ago - and as a complete novice I have had SO MANY QUESTIONS. I cannot emphasize enough how much this podcast has taught me, inspired me, and made me feel like I’m not alone as a slightly directionless new runner. From fueling to race prep to running shoes to iron deficiency - everything I’ve been curious or unsure about - I feel like there is an episode I can listen to with an easy-to-understand, health-conscious, and informed host and expert guests! Elisabeth is wonderful and I can’t recommend this podcast enough!
2022-04-21
8. LOVE this podcast! - This has been a new favorite and makes me love running so much more! Specifically today, I listened to the hormone episode with Kirsten Screen and WOAH. I thought I was decently versed in this topic but this was truly fascinating—I kept rewinding to make sure the info really stuck. I’m training for my first half marathon in nearly a decade and was about to go out on my morning run without any food (which I usually do because I don’t like eating early), but this made me rethink everything about the way I’m fueling and more importantly the WHY behind it with simple science. Just had some delicious carbs and now I’m off for that run, fueled up, excited to have a couple more episodes queued up while I’m galavanting the neighborhood! Thank you!

1. Settle In - Love listening out on the run or in the car. Flows so well and not too many questions, Dylan let’s the pro’s/guests talk and I’ve learned so much since I started listening months ago. Free trail is one of my go to mental supplements to stay motivated and occupied while grinding it out on the trails and in life! Loved the most recent episode with Tom Evans about goal setting and running psychology. Solid podcast!
2023-02-25
2. The Voice of Trail Culture - Dylan is a champion of trail culture. With a diverse and dynamic guest list, I eagerly await each episode drop. Dylan has a unique ability as as interviewer, providing well researched insight, thoughtful POV, and the skill to provide space for the guest’s voice and story to really shine. DBo is on a mission to elevate the trail world through community, storytelling, and bringing voice to its deep culture.
2022-10-17
3. The best ultrarunning podcast on the airwaves right now. - Dylan is a great commentator on the sport. And it pairs fantastically with his experience as a top competitor as well. Nowhere else are you going to get that perspective. In addition, he brings on great guests to ensure listeners get a ton of value.
2022-08-20
4. Mediocre - I I have listened to a few episodes of this podcast and I’ve noticed a consistent pattern of Dylan frequently talking over and interrupting his guests and it doesn’t seem as though he lets conversations flow naturally takes charge and wants to stay on topic in a specific sequence of events. This seems to create somewhat of an awkward dynamic between Dylan and his guest. I was excited for him to have Zach Miller and Jon Albon on recently, but it was so frustrating because he kept just cutting them off frequently and talking over them.
2022-08-04
5. Simply wonderful - Hearing “Hey fam!” and “Love you all” brings a smile to my face each episode. Dylan brings such connection to each episode that even I, as an east coast trail newbie, feel like I’m part of something bigger and so important. I’ve also really enjoyed witnessing the evolution of Freetrail and can’t wait to see what the future (or next episode) holds!
2022-06-27
6. Amazing!! - I’ve listened to most of Dylan’s podcasts since he launched Freetrail and even many before under the old brand. They are all really informative excellent interviews about ultra running and trail running with top-notch guests and well structured conversations. Lately, he has really stepped it up to an even higher level with interviews like Jim Walmsley, Ryan Sandes, Francois D’Hanene and Kilian Jornet - amazing interviews with the top trail runners in the world being open about their successes and failures and telling fascinating stories about all of their incredible adventures. Well done To Dylan for all that you are doing to bring these conversations to a broader audience.
2022-06-01
7. Best trail running podcast!! - I look forward to listening to each episode while I’m out on the trails. Dylan consistently delivers authentic, deep, and inspiring conversations. Even as a world-class athlete himself, he remains humble, curious, and approachable with each guest. Thank you for all your hard work on this!
2022-01-21
8. Dylan is the real deal - I honestly cannot recommend this podcast enough. Dylan is an amazing interviewer that is always willing to be transparent about his experiences and the guest always seem to follow along. I feel I have learned so much about trail running and the overall trail culture since discovering this podcast!

A running podcast from Believe in the Run, The Drop is brought to you by hosts Thomas Neuberger, Robbe Reddinger, and Meaghan Murray. 1. / - I’ve been listening for a while, mostly for the shoe nerd chat and the rambling, but it doesn’t hurt that I laugh out loud multiple times an episode. One of my favorites to listen to on the run thanks to the conversational nature and inspirational check ins from Thomas throughout. I credit the Drop for my new perspective on the validity of birds as well as an impulse purchase of sale Alpha Fly Vs.
2023-03-13
2. Your Mom Will Love It - Is your Mom a runner? Doesn't matter. She'll love the banter between the Believe in the Run crew on The Drop. Who knows? Maybe she'll pick up a pair of AlphaFly 's (Sorry, Meaghan) and throw down a marathon. Or lace up some Max Road 's for an easy run and stop to do a little dumpster diving with Robbe. Perhaps, she's more she prefers something with a little less drop and reaches for a pair of the latest Kinvaras to nail that PR like Thomas. Don't get the references? You would if you listened. It's like Fuel for the Sole while putting down those training miles (snuck in another one!).
2023-03-07
3. Exactly what I’m looking for - I am LOVING the new format, guys. I’m one of the weirdos who sticks around for the entire banter session and sometimes replays them because you guys remind me so much of me and my running buddies, and now I can cherry pick the interviews (love the athlete interviews). You guys are the perfect accompaniment for my Monday strength gym sessions distracting me from the lift-and-scream bros and for my commute when I’m looking to purge from stupid work stuff. For Robbe’s review: what is your favorite Tracksmith fabric and why is it the Strata gear. Keep rocking it, guys!

4. Even Better Than True Crime - I’ve been listening to The Drop for about a month now and you’ve taken the top spot in my favorite podcast list (yes, even above my true crime podcasts!) I have a little FOMO about previous episodes, so I’m listening to the older ones in between new episodes. And athough I find the interviews interesting, my favorite part is definitely the rambling banter, so I’m loving the new format. Hoping to meet y’all someday, somewhere! Keep running!

5. You’ve Locked Me Into Your Gravitational Field - I’ve found myself consuming all you have to offer. Website, shoe reviews, Instagram and both podcasts. Maybe not all I can’t do the $ Tracksmith hoodie. Your updated format is perfect for my long runs. I especially like The Drop when Meg, Thomas & Robbe are pontificating about whatever comes to mind. I find myself laughing a out loud while on my Saturday long runs. Thanks for the entertainment, keep it up!
2023-03-06
6. Perfect long run companion podcast - These podcasts are the perfect companion to my long runs when I just need to zone out and chip away at the miles. There have definitely been moments that had me laughing out loud (like discussing how a certain Maurten product could become a volcano science project in your stomach). The new format is perfect as I prefer to listen to their ramblings during my long runs as you’ll never know what they might talk about next. Shoes, birds, becoming a citizen of Antartica, it’s all fair game. Also trying to take Robbe up on his offer to review anything in my life. Robbe, please review my proposal to my fiancé last March. After two years of dating, we went snowshoeing with a couple friends and I proposed to her at Mt. Rainier. Of course she said yes and now we are just a few months away from our wedding in the San Juan Islands.

7. Great podcast! - I love this podcast! I feel like I’m running with friends when I’m listening on a run because I don’t have anyone to run with. The guests are great. I often find myself laughing at loud. Good thing I live in a rural area and there’s nobody around to hear me. I appreciate the shoe reviews, it helps me decide on my next pair. Keep up the great work!

8. Mary Ann’s Review - Hi it’s your friend Mary Ann! I had wanted to say on my min of silence I recored during strep, that I feel like a cool middle of the pack runner thanks to you!!!! I’m like Robbie’s older sister I don’t take things too seriously ! But the tips I’ve learned like the New York Times intel was beyond!!!!! But also the Devon Yako episode was the most meaningful to me as a Lupus runner. I have sent it to friends to explain why I run! Excellent interview Robbie! Good luck to you all and excited to see what you guys are planing in the future! p. s my husband bought a tracksmith hoodie after seeing my BITR one!!!!

Comments
1. Starting to sound like the “Let’s Run” message board in podcast form - Finally had to unsubscribe. The flippant way in which Alberto Salazar was described as simply having “unscrupulous connections” in passing was the final, tone-deaf straw for me. The guy was banned from our sport for sexually assaulting an athlete. Not to mention all the doping. Get with the program.
2023-03-22
2. Hit and miss…and miss - If you want to know how to fit minutes of advertisements into a minute podcast - here you go. Also a very good chance the show is an audio recording of a YouTube presentation, or someone reading an article they wrote. The coaches clearly know what they’re talking about, but the presentation on this podcast is subpar, especially considering how long it’s been around.
2023-02-26
3. Going downhill - I LOVED the older episodes of this podcast.. like binged hours of them on the run all summer long. Ever since Claire left, it’s been going downhill. A lot of regurgitated content in December and the new ones in January feel like whole episode paid advertisements for whatever product the interviewee is selling.
2023-01-26
4. Authentic - Coach Claire not only provides most invigorating podcasts but truly does it with her heart & soul…you can feel her authenticity & genuine concern for each & every listener no matter where they are in their running journey…topics are right on trend & will inspire you…she is the best!!!!
2022-08-11
5. Great for runners from beginners to advanced! - I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. I love it’s wide range of topics and guests. I love to listen to it on a solo run—-it’s like I’m on a run with friends! I’ve been running for over years and am pretty good at it, but still am able to learn new things each week to help improve my running.
2022-04-23
6. Balanced, Supportive, Achievable - I listen to a lot of running, fitness and triathlon oriented Podcasts. Run to the Top is always on my MUST LISTEN list. They have the right topics at the right time (it seems). I love the balanced approach of host, Claire Bartholic. She’s down to business - no fluff. I always come away from this podcast informed and inspired to continue my running and fitness journey. Make this Podcast a regular listen.
2022-04-20
7. The best running podcast! - I’ve learned so much by listening to Run To The Top. Undoubtedly, the show has helped me become a better runner! I truly believe it’s one of the biggest factors as to of how I’ve managed to stay healthy, avoid injury, and run faster! I love the variety of topics, experts, and first-hand experiences. Even though some episodes are focused on topics that are not obviously applicable to my own goals or interests, I still manage to learn something valuable by listening. Thank you for the great information!
2022-03-13
8. Chatty, lacks evidence - Really great conversations around a central theme (running). Take this review as a complement that I’m still aboard: even though experts are brought on, advice is pretty wishy washy. There are statements like, “carbohydrates are so important for recovery… but so is protein and fat.” Okay, so food is important. I also just heard, “I think all stress is the same… as if a saber toothed tiger is chasing us.” That’s absolutely wrong, there are U-shaped curves involved. Point being, all running is not activating fight or flight, meaning recovery techniques should be spoken about in a more nuanced fashion. Because these details are overlooked, the episodes blend together, and after listening to more than , you get the idea: moderation. I would appreciate more studies, and even hard positions if not just to serve as a starting point to examine pros/cons of techniques and strategies.

1. Amazing running podcast! - Recently found this podcast and I’m absolutely addicted. I ran the Disney Princess Half and have decided to return in which will mark years. 2. Feels like family - I absolutely love this podcast. My ! Such great information, interviews, tips and excitement in every episode! I especially love the longer format lately, I could listen to them for days! They’ve nudged me along so many miles and minutes, helped me prepare for marathon weekend, and made me feel like I belong, and am among friends. I love everything about this podcast and applaud the gang for all the hard work they put into this. Thank you so much!!!!

3. Disney, Running and Pure Joy - What’s Not To Love? - I just did my first RunDisney event, the Walt Disney World Half Marathon, in January . It was great to have this podcast - and the community it has built with its Facebook group - as I took the plunge into all things RunDisney in the months leading up to the half. It helped me know what to expect and allowed me to focus on my training and having fun, which is one of the best parts - if not THE best part - about running at Disney World. Thanks to Bob and the gang for your relentless positivity, encouragement of runners of all experience levels, and for creating a space that lifts everyone up.
2023-01-27
4. Thank you for the inspiration! - Hi Bob and the gang! I have only just joined your Facebook group, and have been bingeing the podcast, and am finally on episode as of today, and excited to catch up in real-time because I will be running my first races ever and my first Disney races ever in my life coming up for Princess with my husband! My husband has been running for a long time and my father was an amazing runner, but I have always been known to say I’d never run unless a lion was chasing me (I work at Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, FL so that’s legit) - but I am just now starting at years old after some health issues woke me up to use it before I lose it! When I decided to run my first race I decided it could only be at Disney and to go big or go home - do the challenge! You guys have helped me so much to adopt and stick to the Galloway method. I feel like I know you guys and know if I ever see you at an event I will likely fan girl. Thank you for the inspiration, motivation, smiles, and excitement you have brought to my training so far. I haven’t even completed this goal yet but I’ve already started dreaming about future events because of your positive energy- thank you!

5. My long run companions - I found Rise and run after my first Disney race last November. Wish I’d found them sooner. I love this podcast! So encouraging and real, down to earth, and makes my runs better. I’m training for my first half now and love catching up with the gang each week! Thank you all!

6. Love this group! - So glad I found this podcast! It has helped me get through so many of my long runs, and the tips are so helpful. I had the pleasure of briefly meeting Bob at W&D and he is just as nice in person as he is on the podcast. Hoping to meet everyone else at the next race weekend! Keep it up!

7. Great Podcast - You all do a great job! You have blended running advice from training , health and mental tips to navigating an expo! And you regularly celebrate your love of Disney. I am hooked, bingeing your older shows and eagerly awaiting Thursdays to listen to your current show. I am training for my th Dopey, and I am so happy I get to listen in with every training run!

8. Love this Podcast - I enjoy listening to the gang from Rise and Run! I recently found this podcast after getting in to the Dopey. I’ve been binge listening and look forward to every single new podcast. The podcast is great motivation during my training runs. The marathon (day of Dopey) will be my th lifetime marathon and my husband and two children will be running with me! I’ll be looking for you all on the course. I consider the gang at Rise and Run to be my “running buds”! Thank you for including me in your family.

1. A fave running podcast - From the upbeat intro music to the informative and entertaining conversations I enjoy listening to Lindsey on my long and easy runs. She is entertaining and inspiring and def worth checking out. Currently her coaching series is awesome, I’ve saved them up and listen on long runs
2023-03-23
2. Entertaining and Informative! - I’ve been a long time listener/subscriber of Lindsey’s podcast and I can’t believe I’m just leaving a review now. I listen every week and I love the variety of guests she brings on the show. Lately I’ve been loving the series outside of her normal weekly episodes. The nutrition series last year literally changed my relationship with how I interact with performance fuel. I’ve also been loving the coaching series that’s currently ongoing! I also love all the book recommendations. As someone who religiously reads running affiliated books, it’s nice to hear from the authors themselves on the podcast. If you aren’t subscribing yet, please do - you will not regret it!
2023-03-13
3. Keeping it Real - I have been listening to you for a few years and always enjoy your conversations with your guests. Your conversations always feel so genuine and sincere. I was thrilled to hear Michele Gonzalez last weekend, yeah! Hopefully you will do a panel again at the Chicago Marathon Expo at this year! I missed last years. Thank you for putting good out on the world!
2023-03-10
4. Love Lindsey, great podcast for my running - I really like the variety of topics and guest Lindsey has on her show. I always look forwart to it on Friday mornings. The series she did on nutrition was really helpful. I have been asking for some older runners and she listened! Two in a row, thanks Lindsey!
2023-02-17
5. Longtime listener! - Lindsey - your shows are getting better each year! They’ve always been excellent - but you’ve raised the bar higher lately! I love your honesty, especially when it comes to mental health. Refreshing and much needed. Thank you for all you do. Amy (the hill runner in Pittsburgh) PS it took me a few years to find the ratings section in the Apple podcast app!

6. It’s running, but more than running, but with running - Lindsey does an amazing job discussing running but also the different parts of life. We get to hear from runners, trainers, coaches, regular people and professionals, about their journey but also their lives. What makes them tick. The struggles and success. She does it in a relatable way that makes you feel like you are listening to some friends chat and carry on. While there is a strong portion of the podcast focused on female runners, I feel that any runner will be able to relate to the content and discussions.
2023-01-19
7. Fantastic listen, time and time again - I’ve been a long time listener and long overdue for an honest review: I’ll have another podcast is a fantastic listen, week after week. Lindsey interviews guests in a flowing conversational style that asks great, honest and natural questions. Sometimes deep and serious, sometimes lighthearted and funny, all while keeping respect and integrity of the person interviewed. She has a comfortable voice to listen to, matched to what seems (we never met) such a genuine personality. Interesting guests, interesting topics, week after week.
2023-01-17
8. This Podcast is Your New Running Buddy - A long-time listener, this podcast has it all. Lindsey hosts wonderful guests who share their “why”, motivate and inspire runners, and range from the up-and-comers to the pros. The conversations are real and Lindsey’s smile and enthusiasm for her work can be heard through the mic in each episode.

1. My new favorite running podcast - If you’re interested in running - especially longer distances - this is such a great podcast! Floris has interviewed some of the biggest names in the sport, from athletes, coaches, nutritionists, physiologists, and more. He does so with interesting questions, but more importantly, gives his guests room to express their thoughts and ideas without being constantly interrupted or being pummeled into a certain direction by the host. Those kinds of interviews, where it becomes almost more about the interviewer and their experiences and opinions, drive me nuts. Floris has a wonderful interviewing style, brings his own unique experiences and thoughts to the table when appropriate, and really does manage to evoke so many nuggets of wisdom and insight from some truly inspirational and knowledgeable folks in the world of running. Love the show. Keep up the good work!
2023-02-13
2. Thank you! - Dr. Cucuzzella summed up this great episode perfectly towards the end of the podcast: “Running is such a powerful mood enhancer.” Every podcast episode is packed with such helpful running information and tips. This one was particular insightful - running enhancing - through the perspective of a running doctor and athlete. Thank you!
2023-02-05
3. THE podcast for low heart rate training - I watched and listen to countless episodes of the show over the years. Floris does a great job and has continue to get better as an interviewer! I’m not sure of a better podcast to listen to if you’re serious about low heart rate training, becoming a faster runner, and achieving your running goals! I feel very fortunate to have discovered this show early on in my running career. Keep it up Floris!
2022-06-02
4. Finally committing to MAF - These podcasts showing me so many wide ranging success stories of MAF training have finally gotten me to buckle down and start running slow. Super inspiring listening to all of your guests share their concerns, lessons, struggles and ultimately successes has been the light in the darkness while slowing down . Thanks for having such amazing content!
2022-02-28
5. Always learning from Extramilest - First-time reviewer as I’ve been hooked on this podcast for the past two months. Playing catch-up with earlier episodes as they remain fully relevant. Floris asks the most informed questions and gives his guests the time and space to talk in detail about their origin story, short and long term approach, triumphs and challenges, mindset and habits. He’s the perfect host who runs an efficient, friendly and information-packed session. He will ask that seemingly arcane question you were wondering about and he shares his own experiences where they relate to the conversation. Gierman’s own running story is fascinating in itself. Pleased to have discovered this podcast gem. It’s given new life to my running.
2021-07-21
6. Invaluable resource - This podcast has been the single greatest resource for my journey with low heart rate running. Not only for all the great information how to improve as a runner, but also for Floris’s thoughtful questions about athletes’ struggles and frustration with low heart rate training, after feeling many of the same frustrations despite my starting point being far behind professional athletes. I can’t recommend it enough.
2020-11-05
7. Tons of great material - Floris does a great job providing tons of great running advice...Both psychological and physiological. He has both elite athletes and amateur athletes on his podcasts which help provide any level of runner great advice. He is my social media resource for all of my running information.
2020-10-29
8. Extramilest Matt Fitzgerald - Without a doubt the best podcast for runners. His knowledge and love of running coupled with calm demeanor and friendly tone of voice make Floris the perfect interviewer. Matt Fitzgerald awesome wordsmith, self-deprecating humorist, dedicated running coach and cheerleader. Fun to listen to, knowledge to take home.
Thanks for this great work.

Comments
1. Very goofy - I really wanted to love this podcast but these two are very silly. They are like two little kids hopped up on sugar - hyper and giddy with way too much silly banter unrelated to the subject matter. I was very interested in the lactate threshold show but it took minutes of silliness before they got to it! It is too bad because I know these two are highly intelligent and accomplished, but this podcast is just down right embarrassing. Maybe if they limit themselves to one hour they can do a better job of sticking to the running topics and leave their personal stuff behind.
2023-03-15
2. Not a running podcast really… - Started out looking for something in between episodes of Strength Running. It looked promising but after listening to thirty minutes of them talking about their kid I was bored and annoyed. If you like listening to people describe every detail of their kid this is the podcast for you. If you want a running podcast, better look elsewhere
2023-02-22
3. Advice outside their scope of practice - Liked the podcast until recently when they started acting like they are “experts” in everything. Really hard to listen to them give nurtrition and mental health advice that is at best simplistic and shallow, and at worst actually harmful. Remember that just because someone is internet popular or has went to med-school, it doesn’t qualify them as an expert in fields outside their scope of practice.
2023-02-05
4. Love, Running, and Science - David and Megan have such a wonderful, positive approach to running and life. It is a joy to spend and hour with them. Add in running and science and you are inspired to have a blast on running adventures while performing your best and doing more than you believed possible. This podcast is perfect for people who love running and/or science listening to two wonderful people talk about random stuff. If you don’t like that, this is certainly not for you. If you do, you may have just found your two newest best friends.
2023-01-27
5. Excellent podcast - Revised review that I hit send on accidentally: this podcast is really good. It’s not easy to make a technical literature review fun and accessible for a broad audience and yet these two manage to do it weekly. Sure you can debate the broad relevance of any finding they get stoked about but you can’t deny that they made you think (and maybe question your training in a good way ...) and that’s the point. Well done.
2023-01-22
6. My most favorite!!! - I think I spend each week waiting for the newest SWAP podcast to come out. I am obsessed! David and Megan are funny, inclusive, and so smart and qualified. Listening to the SWAP pods, you never know exactly what you’ll get, but it’s always entertaining, reminds you to be your FULL authentic self always, and helps you learn about the newest running-related scientific research. I started listening to this podcast when I first got into running, and I swear David and Megan gave me at least half the confidence I have to put myself out there and give it all I’ve got. WOO HOO!
2023-01-17
7. Positive, helpful, and funny - David and Megan are great: kind, knowledgeable, and generous. This podcast has helped me become a better runner and it’s just fun to listen to. I will say that I wouldn’t recommend it to any sensitive listener or anyone younger than around as there’s a lot of profanity and sex talk, but if you like that kinda thing, well just consider it an added bonus to the solid digital run coaching.
2023-01-17
8. Not kid friendly! - While the topics are interesting, especially the running ones (let’s be honest that’s why we are listening to the Roche’s), they talk about explicit sexual content often! I came for running, not to be told my kids should learn all about how to have sex at a young age! Come on guys y’all are immature
2023-01-17
9. Yes, they know. - Look, the hosts are “a lot”. They talk too fast. They take forever to get to running topics. They constantly flatten nuance by declaring everything either awesome or sh/t. They get super-excited about an expensive product or service for a month (“Breakthroughs!”), then decide later it actually probably had only marginal effects. They make way too many terrible d!(k jokes. They know all of this. They are brilliant people, accomplished in multiple fields. They have decided to have the guts to put these unvarnished bits of their authentic selves into the world, haters be damned. And it’s glorious. It’s messy and human and wonderful. They are incredible coaches who are some of the best at interpreting training science and putting it into practice. As you learn to sit back and ride out the chaos, you’ll find that you are accepted, uplifted, more knowledgeable about training, and have observed a great example of what it means to lead with love.

Release date: 2023-03-19
Comments
1. Not interviews really. - Either the host is star struck to an uncomfortable level or adversarial also to an uncomfortable level. Regardless of which, it s rather tiresome after a few episodes. A one trick poney really ( or more accurately a two trick poney). Regardless of that, he self proclaimed in depth knowledge of triathlon is also tiring. If you ve never been to Kona, how do you have such a deep understanding of that race??? Asking for a friend..
2023-03-08
2. The one with Andrew Messick - Jack Kelly accuses Andrew Messick of not listening to “what the people want”, but Jack Kelly effectively does the same thing, repeating the recommendation of reduced cut-off times for all racers at the Ironman World Championship. Messick brings up older athletes taking longer and Jack Kelly wants them out! Not mentioned is consideration for athletes with disabilities, which clearly Jack Kelly -speaking for the people-would also eliminate from an IMWC to accommodate all the fast athletes who want to race in Kona and have no patience for slower athletes ruining their dreams. The host is confrontational and uncompromising. Not even interesting after a while-just arguing for the sake of arguing.
2023-02-17
3. No interrupting! - Aside from the great guests and conversations, the best part about this show is that Jack actually let’s his guest speak! No interrupting, no background “yeah”s or “hmmm” from the interviewer like other shows. He’s asks a question and then sits back and lets his guest speak and truly listens. Bravo Jack, keep up the great work!

1. My favorite podcast! - No matter what is going on in my life, the Coffeeclub never fails to make me laugh and always leaves a smile on my face. It’s the podcast that I never knew I needed in my life, but now listen to religiously when it comes out each week, in fact I’ve listened to most episodes more than once. It provides wildly entertaining content on running and life and it never fails to leave me wanting more. I’ve become a huge fan of George, Morgan, and Olli (and Gus) and hope they continue the show for many years to come!

1. SO good! - You have been listening to Patrick for about two years now and he just keeps getting better. Episode Dealing with Criticism explains exactly why I love Patrick's point of view. He is real, down to Earth, and an open book. If you want honest advice without the fluff that will inspire and guide you on your journey, you came to the right place. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the world Patrick!

2. New lease on life - I found this show as I was adding exercise back into my life. Patrick was coaching about being fat adapted and I realized that he was describing exactly what I had been experiencing over the last few months, but I was stuck. I wanted to start running again after a decade of laziness and over indulgence. Following Patrick’s advice in the podcast and in the Facebook page helped get me over the plateau. I am loosing weight again and I have run two mile runs in a few short weeks. I am now planning to run a / marathon all thanks to Patrick’s coaching found in these podcast.

His podcasts include key expert guests digging deeper in critical self-improvement mental aspects. Running Lean title might be miss-leading as “running subject” is only the stepping off point to much more research and experience presented by Patrick and his guest.
2022-02-04
4. Infomercial for Patrick’s “Brand” - I’ve been listening for a couple years and find the podcasts mostly devoid of useful information. Episodes start with Patrick luring the listener with the hope for better running, diet, body, etc only to finish with “if you’d like to get there contact me for one on one coaching!” An infomercial at best.
2022-01-31
5. Life changing, introspective podcast! - I recently discovered this podcast and the content presented and the method shared is absolutely awesome! Patrick is really great,
not only at sharing running related performance improvements but at life related lessons, as a life coach. It’s all very inspiring and I can’t stop binge listening to all the episodes!!! Thank you, Patrick.

6. Running Lean is easy to understand and it works. - This podcast does a great job explaining complex subject by using every day terms. The podcast uses updated studies in science nutrition debunking a lot of methods. The vast information is out there for all of us but Patrick takes all the information and gives the Cliff notes and it works for me. I read a nutrition food labels in an entirely different way. I eat entirely different and it works for me. My hunger pangs are gone over the past months. I feel full, losing weight without some crazy calorie counting, and I get my nutritional needs. Keep the great work up! You are my nutritionist for exercising. Best Lance Isaacs

7. Great information - I started listening as a way to get motivated to train for a half, but I’ve continued to listen because of all of the great information Patrick shares each week. I’ve learned so much about health and nutrition that I’ve started making changes to my diet and I can’t wait to see how these changes improve my running. This podcast is great for anyone looking to not just improve their running, but their whole life.
2021-09-05
8. Awesome - I have recently finished listening to ALL of your podcasts and loved them! So please make more soon!!! LOL Seriously, I thank you for sharing all of your knowledge on running and nutrition because I have learned a lot. Thank you so much and I look forward to many more! Please know that your podcasts are making a difference!
Oh and I will be going away for a week and really enjoyed your advice on making a plan when you are not in your typical routine because I will be sure to plan ahead .

9. Fatphobic - I get that the intention of this podcast is partially focused on weight loss, but I started listening with the hope of getting tips for becoming a better runner and fueling my body well for the sport. The host implies time and time again that weight loss is equatable with self-improvement, and that not losing weight is a sign of weakness and not trying “hard enough”. This kind of talk encourages disordered eating and eating disorders. It’s , read the room!

Comments
1. The bar has been raised - Finn has on an amazing mix of voices on the show and does a fantastic job really probing the developing sport of trail. The approach, both in interviewing and in coverage, is intelligent and professional. It elicits high quality conversations and provides great entertainment value.
2023-02-27
2. So many reasons to listen! - I love this podcast. I am a newer fan to Ultra running but have been a trail runner for decades. It is so cool and interesting to hear the ins and outs of the sport and get to know some of the main players. On a side note, Finn has the best “radio” voice. I wish he would record books on tape!
2023-02-15
3. One of the best running podcast - I’ve tried listening to many different running podcasts, but this one just hits different. The quality of conversation is incredible. Finn, and co-hosts, ask meaningful questions, and go deeper into the minds of runners, that really inspire the listener. I know the depth of question and the answers given by his guest inspire me to keep training and pushing to reach my goals. Oh, audio quality is on point too. Keep it up!
2023-01-29
4. Great listen - It’s nice to listen to a podcast that covers multiple viewpoints and doesn’t shy away from perspectives that don’t necessarily align with the hosts. We desperately need more content that values diversity of thought instead of polarizing viewpoints. Our sport prides itself in diversity yet, all to often, we see how if one disagrees, they are often cancelled or boycotted. Finn positions himself as a calm relatable, respectable host that encourages helpful conversation.

5. Love trail running? Listen to this pod! - This is an excellent podcast for those into trail running or those who are trail running curious. In depth convos, fun banter and useful tidbits of info. The race preview/prediction shows are good fun, I really appreciate the combo of perspectives and synergy of Leah, Brett and Finn. Thanks for putting quality content out there!
2023-01-09
6. Love love love it - Absolutely up there with the best trail running podcasts If not the best trail running podcast out there. If you’re a fan of the sport in anyway-especially if you’ve enjoyed participating in fantasy free trail or follow ultras or GTWS in any capacity this podcast is for you. From race predictions, to race recaps, to hypotheticals about what the future of trail running has in store and thoughtful athlete interviews, there’s a wide variety of thoughtful content covered. Basically everything they discuss on the podcast is what interests me as a fan of the sport and I’ve really enjoyed how quickly Finn/Brett/Leah have made this a great podcast to listen to. I feel it usually takes a while for podcasters to get comfortable interviewing/talking to guests but they seem to have a talent for it from the getgo and I’ve certainly enjoyed this podcast as much if not more than any of the other alternative Trailrunning pods out there. Keep up the great work and thank you creating such an enjoyable podcast!

7. Definitely my favorite running podcast - I listen to TONS of running podcasts ( /week) and The Singletrack pod is just so so good. I love how Finn is unapologetically focused on the elite side and the professionalism of the sport. I love the long episodes, quick pre-race interviews, and prediction episodes.
2022-12-12
8. Love this podcast!! - I am a huge fan of this podcast! Finn is an incredible host in his interviews. I really like the pre and post race coverage with Brett and Leah, it helps make following the sport and its athletes more accessible as I get into it myself. Favorite episode so far has to be Nick Coury. Going to give negative splitting a try in my next race. Anyway I love what you are putting out there and the positivity that comes with it! Thanks for what you do

9. Kelly Newlon Real Athletes Diets - If anyone out there is truly
interested in endurance athletic
endeavors and what it takes
to pull them
off, whether ultra-distance
running, bike racing, big
mountain through-traversing
projects, etc, the niche love that
Kelly Newlon of @radboulder
brings to the table from an "end
goal success perspective" is
unmistakable. And the
perceptiveness in which Finn
Melanson of
@thesingletrackpodcast renders
his questioning in the interview is
even more undeniable. Real deal
stuff
here…inspiring, fun, fruitful
listening indeed. Get after it.

1. Listen while running - I’ve been getting back into running the right way and first had to listen to Coach Bennett every run to make sure I actually breathed and ran smarter… Now I listen to podcasts while running and Convos over cold brew is so motivating. I’d recommend this podcast to any kind of runner
2023-02-22
2. Entertaining & Educational!! - I love everything about this podcast. Emma and her guests are hilarious and always fun to listen to. The ginormous amount of variety in this podcast keeps me excited for every episode. I know the pod isn’t the biggest priority for you compared to other aspects of your job/social media but I hope you know I LOVE listening to your pod when I’m running, in the car, making food, cleaning, and more. I listen to other podcasts but I always go to yours first and look for a new episode and only sadly go to the others if there’s no new episode or I don’t want to relisten to an episode (which I do a lot). Of course a main selling point is that it talks about on of my favorite things in the world - running of course! It’s also so educational and relatable for runners (and sometimes regular people) of all kinds. I also love your YouTube of course! Lastly I wanted to say my favorite episodes so far have been all the Karissa ones and both Cooper (and Reed) ones. But I also love how you branch out from just professional or college runners. I’ve been loving the coach, sports dietician, and marathoner episodes too.
2022-12-21
3. BEST PODCAST YOU CAN LISTEN TO - i used to not like podcasts before i listened to this one but when i listened to the one with cooper teare i was instantly hooked! the podcast balances normal life and normal issues with running life and running issues emma, your personality is so great! you should get charles hicks or drew bosley or someone like that on here! thanks for the podcast and if others are reading this go listen rn!
2022-12-15
4. Favorite Podcast! - I love this podcast. Emma tackles such a variety of topics, so each episode is a different treat, and she does so in such a relaxed and open way. Afterwards I feel like I’ve gotten off the phone with good friends. Emma is able to get a side of the interviewees that others don’t get. I think what ultimately sets this podcast apart from the rest is that I truly feel like Emma loves her audience. There’s just a special something that comes across. During the pandemic I tried out a ton of podcasts and this is the only one I still listen to.
2022-10-09
5. Love this podcast - I never write reviews but I had to make an exception bc I love this podcast and the host Emma is awesome. She always asks great questions and talks to interesting runners. The only thing I’d change is that sometimes she interviews people multiple times and I’d rather hear about people she’s never interviewed before- like Abby Steiner or Mathew Boling or other college runners that are doing really well right now (for example). Overall though I’d highly recommend for runners!
2022-06-29
6. Love this podcast - This is one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to! The conversations are so fun and informative and funny. This podcast makes me feel like I’m literally sitting around with friends and talking about one of my favorite topics… RUNNING! Thank you Emma, never stop podcasting, you’re a natural!
2022-06-05
7. emma is amazing - emma abrahamson is such a talented podcaster and convos over cold brew is my favorite podcast of all time! she brings on a wide variety of interesting guests (personal favs of alexi pappas and grayson murphy!) and is extremely adept at interviewing them. conversion happens naturally and never feels forced or awkward. however my favorite episodes are emma’s solo ones. she is honest about her life struggles and unafraid to talk about challenges women face in the running world, like body image and finding identity outside of being a runner. she shares her struggles with her audience, and in doing so is helping the next generation of female runners be prepared to take on the world and fight against the darker parts of running culture. listening to emma is like listening to your older sister. she personally has impacted me so much and i’m so happy i started listening to her podcast over covid. i truly believe that emma is one of the biggest role models out there for young female athletes
2022-04-09
8. EMMA IS SUCH AN AMAZING PERSON!! - This podcast is always a go to for me but it’s so much more than that! Emma does such a great job of making the listener feel like her best friend :) I always want to jump in to the conversation!! I love u you so much Emma! Keep spreading your joy and positive energy forever!
2022-03-25
9. Important Points of View - Convos Over Coldbrew is a really fun podcast to listen to! What I appreciate more recently about the podcast are the important points of view it explores by interviewing people such as Mary Cain. I hope this episode specifically receives a lot of attention because of the important, yet less embraced point of view that professional running and professional sports in general have conformed to standards tied to capitalism and thereby, racism. Emma’s interview with Mary opens up a dialogue to reflect upon the ways in which the running and field-sports world specifically has allowed the ideals of hierarchy to exploit field-athletes and runners. Interview Gwen Barry next!

1. Great Show - Great pod for runners and all those interested in running/marathoning. Great guests and interesting/whitty/funny discussion. I have enjoyed listening on my commute and during long runs at times. Shocked there are only reviews on iTunes! Great job!...update: listening to shows from the archive only serves to solidify my review!
2017-07-04
2. Highly recommended! - Tell your marathoning friends! This is a great resource for a huge range of marathoners from fast to not-so-fast. The guys are smart and supportive, and the interviews are always interesting. If you haven't already... run, don't walk to the back catalog and start listening. You'll be hooked in less than ::. (Or :: if you're female.)

3. Running for the Intermediate & Advanced - Tom & Martin offer what one might expect (!) in a show focussed on marathon racing: training tips, race reports, and interviews with running greats. They do this in a way that is fun, friendly, open, and engaging. What differentiates them is the attention they give to elite-professional performance and upper-level amateur performance. Both guys can run a -hour marathon (and better), and so can their recurring guest Tony Audenshaw (who does short pieces most weeks that are, by turns, very funny or very touching). The fact that Tom, Tony, and Martin and Brits lends the show extra entertainment value for me, as an American.
2013-09-22
4. Inspiration from across the Pond - Martin and Tom do an amazing job of introducing me to new aspects of the running community. As a recreational marathoner, I appreciate the tips and tales from two guys who've logged the miles. There's an international feel to the show as well which underscores the universal appeal of running. We love you in Austin, fellas. Keep it up.
2013-05-26
5. Not just for marathons runners.... - I love this podcast because it inspires me! These guys interview different elite athletes and talk about training, give weekly news about races and racers... Its pretty great. I'm not planning on a full Marathon in the near future, but I still love this podcast. It keeps me interested and excited! I'm training for a few half and I find this great to listen to while I'm at the gym or in the car.
2011-03-27
6. The Best Running Podcast out there! - I started listening to Marathon Talk a few weeks ago and I've almost made it through the entire catalog! This is a very insightful, informative and entertaining podcast mixed in with some good running humor (Tony’s Trials). Martin and Tom are great hosts and line up incredible guests for interviews. Lot's of great advice and training talk for runners. I've told everyone of my running friends about the show and hope they like it as much as I do...Keep up the great work guys, I’m listener for life (or as long as you decide to keep podcasting)

7. They Rant, They Rave... They Deliver the Best Running Podcast - These crazy Brits have simply the best running podcast out there. It's that simple. Each show is informative with great interviews, training talk, race results and reviews. They are funny and present the show in a warm friendly manner while delivering relevant and useful content. Much to learn from them. Keep up the good work gentlemen. Tony's Trials is even growing on me!
2010-12-04
8. Best Thing on iTunes Beside the Beatiles - This is simply the very best long distance running related podcast on iTunes. It is always informative, entertaining and motivating. Both Martin Yelling and Tom Williams love the topic and are deeply involved in the sport in many ways. Their interviews are consistently interesting as they not only learn about the subjects training methods but also get to know them as people. Anyone who has run a marathon, or aspires to, should subscribe to this podcast and listen to every episode.
2010-11-24
9. Episode - Thanks to both of you for the WONDERFUL interview with Dr. Bond. I didn't want it to end. You asked her some very thoughtful questions and I don't think I've ever learned so much about the mental aspects of racing and moving through injuries. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am recommending this episode to others. I am also enjoying your updates with Liz. I enjoyed her interview a few episodes ago and this week's update was nice, although I do feel for her and her issues as she trains for Chicago. Keep these updates coming, please! Great coverage and interviews with women runners, I love it!!
I'm also enjoying your marathon countdown, I'll be running NYC Marathon in November and every time you announce it, I get pumped and excited.
YOU ARE BOTH DOING such a great job, keep it up and thank you so much!

1. One Giant Ad - I’ve been a listener for years but something has been bothering me for quite some time now: everything feels like an ad for Run Your Best Life, Jill’s $ a month run club. It feels like in at least half the episodes that Jill tells you in order to be your best self you have to give her $ a month. Now the latest episode is an hour long ad for her run vacation? For $, you can spend a week running with Jill. Running already feels so prohibitive for far runners. This is the only podcast I know dedicated to slow and fat runners. But it’s constantly bombarding you to spend money that so many of us just don’t have! I understand that Jill has to make money somehow and I don’t have to spend any money or even listen to the podcast. But the constant pushing of Run Your Best Life and now the Alaska trip has really irked me and rubbed me the wrong way. I’d rather listen to an ad for Skratch or Nuun or something while listening about running and slow/fat runners.

2. Jill Angie changed my life - tarted listening to this podcast after reading an article about Jill Angie in a running magazine. I’ve wanted to become a runner for several years but I thought I had to lose weight first. Jill teaches women how to run in the body they are already in. This idea blew my mind!! I didn’t know I could do that! I am now a runner! Jill is an amazing running coach but she also teaches mental thought work. You are working on yourself physically and mentally. I’ve learned that you need both. I love listening to this podcast while I run. Thanks Jill for your amazing work!
2022-08-18
3. Energizing, Inspiring and Empowering! - Regardless of where you are in your journey - this is a must listen for you! Jill does an incredible job bringing you everything you need to know as a runner to improve your health, energy, mindset and vitality - with inspiring guests you can actually relate to. Highly recommend listening and subscribing!
2022-06-02
4. Good listen! - As someone who is in and out of running, it’s always a good refresher to listen to these episodes. She also reminds me I can start anytime, at any weight! Sometimes the brain talk is redundant (especially if you listen to any other self help podcasts), but the episodes with tangible tips are my favorite. Side note: I find it hilarious the only poor reviews are due to language - it’s an explicit podcast! The little “E” is right there…. I happen to enjoy it!
2022-01-25
5. Life changing - I spend years HATING Running. I was forced to run in school and the military. Somehow Jill Angie really can motivate a stubborn anti-runner into LOVING to run. She does so much more then teach how-to run, it’s all the mental, mind work that makes her coaching different from any other trainers I have worked with. I have followed Jill for months and she has changed my fitness level and my life.
2021-09-19
6. So great! - This information is so good for a newbie runner. It’s helped me get my butt moving more regularly! The language makes it even better to me, I’ll never understand why people choose to listen to a podcast that has an explicit warning then complain when the host curses. Don’t change anything this podcast is great!
2021-06-30
7. Adjustment - From the few podcast episodes that I have listen to you, the content is great. I could see where it would be helpful for a beginner runner. I came looking to it for some advice as I am about to run my first half marathon. However, I don’t believe I can continue listening to it because of all the cursewords. For one, my children are in the room and I do not want them to hear that into it is a big pet peeve of mine. I don’t feel that the content needs the F bomb dropped or other words like that to make a point.
2021-05-29
8. Always a treat - Jill is genuine, funny, knowledgeable and most importantly- real and relatable. She doesn’t pretend to have everything all figured out but she’s also very confident in who she is and what she knows. I really enjoy this podcast and always find it easier to incorporate loving self-talk into my inner monologue after listening.
2021-04-18
9. Great Podcast. - I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while, but am finally sitting down to write about how fantastic it is. Jill is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor, which makes listening fun. The topics are relatable and I learn something new every week. I’m the last person most people would see as a runner, but through this podcast, I’ve become a consistent exerciser who has grown in ways I never thought I could. I’m grateful for this content as well as going through the Rebel Runner Roadmap and being a member of Run Your Best Life. Life changing for me.
