1. Love the podcast, small suggestion. - This is one of my favorite cricket podcasts. Very insightful and super funny. One small suggestion is that you could devote a couple of minutes each podcast or perhaps every other podcast providing some explanations for us that are new-ish to the game. Cricket is a game that has such a steep learning curve, and beautifully odd terminology, that I think this would help to grow the fan base for the game, particularly here in the US. Specially useful would be information on the state of the pitch, and why it matters, as well as bowling lengths and lines. For instance, a mini-lesson on the state of the pitch could have been sneaked in during the discussion of whether Australia should have batted first on the first day of the fifth test at the Oval. Obviously you don’t want to spend too much time and bore the knowledgeable listeners, but just a couple of minutes would do.

2. Very good stuff! - I love their cricket podcasts. Two very good, knowledgeable, and astute minds of the game. They bring the game in a different way, Adam has done work in politics while Geoff was prolific in poetry. This new perspective is fantastic to listen to. They never say anything without good reason, and they are unbiased. I love the longer version, and I love the daily pods. I enjoy the interviews a lot because I can go back when I’m bored and listen to Harsha Bhogle, or Davey Warner, or Ian Chappell. They seem to put a lot of thought into their words and that’s what I enjoy!

3. A fun, quirky, and balanced cricket podcast - A solid cricket podcast. They are quirky without getting too much amongst the weeds. They are very balanced in their analysis except when it comes to Glenn Maxwell, which to be honest I find quite endearing. Their weekly shows include great interviews and analysis. But, their dailies during the CWC has been fantastic and have really gotten me addicted to them. The hall of fame segments are great and I look forward to them every episode. Their nerd pledge segment, where you make a monthly contribution with an amount that has relevance in cricket which the hosts have to guess, for instance $. as a reference to VVS Laxman, is a unique feature in the world of cricket podcasts and always enjoyable to listen to. Do give them a listen when you get a chance. But, be forewarned, the show is extremely addictive

The Following On Podcast is the very best of talkSPORT's cricket output with original programming, features, big name guests and immediate reaction whenever the England cricket team plays. 1. One of the best - One of the best cricket podcasts available. Jon Norman and crew do a fantastic job bringing information about the day’s play. What sets this apart is when they take the time to discuss the culture of wherever they are. For example, I learned a lot about Sri Lanka when Following On were there covering the England matches. It adds a nice context to learn a little about a host country. The podcast is very professional in quality and the hosts and guests bring a wealth of knowledge.

Im going to be talking about sad thoughts and what people are going through

1. Why is this so relatable- - I am almost years old and I have been through all of this at such a young age I am still depressed but In my opinion I believe people are selfish for committing suicide because they are leaving the easy way and they are creating a ripple effect on others so you hurt others in the process. I love listening to sad music like she talked about how she liked sad thoughts and I haven’t been able to see my best friend in over weeks and I feel really depressed and you realize how much you really care about your best friend and you realize how good they are to you and you can find ways to live because of that. And like she said there is always that good person that makes you happy when your sad and you never notice how much you need to stay until you don’t see that person. ANYWAYS I love the podcast and all the information I talked about was in episode I loved the fantastic compliments at the end

2. It’s fine - So it’s a good podcast and kinda depressing and I get it I go trough it to and I’m the same age. So I would not let little kids listen to this and ya she is going trough depression so I feel bad for her and I am praying she has not killed her self so if you see this PLS MAKE S NOTHER ONE I am praying

1. Mark Butcher on the Debate? No thanks! - Where is Charles? The Debate used to be like a debate with dry humor sometimes, thanks to the wonderful Bob. But seems like it’s all humor now with no specific analysis on the game. This used to be my go to podcast, I’m sad that I have to choose alternatives now. Even the guests on the show like Bazid Khan seem to take the debate like fun. Bring some better guests for god sake!

1. Great for Expats - I found this podcast a few months ago and have been enjoying it ever since. As an expat cricket fan living in the USA, this podcast is a fantastic way to catch up as I drive around on all the goings on in Australian and international cricket. Thanks for the great work, keep it going.

2. Great Show and Host - I'm an Aussie who came to the USA years ago. I love cricket -- always have -- so can't get enough of it. Anything I can get my hands on, I listen to it. Most podcasts are just news and press conferences. This one I like because it gets me into the cricket culture of Australia -- lots of good discussions and guests. And, I like Menners' Aussie sarcasm and straight forwardness.
2017-03-09
3. Five star cricket - If you are going to listen to one cricket podcast this is the one. If you are going to listen to numerous podcasts make sure you start here. Real cricket talk without being gimmicky. Menners' steers the show to be most relevant cricket podcast. While main focus is on Australian cricket the show talks about Australia in the context of world cricket. Some sub themes include crowd and player safety and the women's game. They present the women's game as real fans of the game/ development without being patronizing. Well done.
2017-01-31
4. Great coverage of Aussie Cricket - You may remember me from such reviews as calling out Mad Menners for being loud. I have come to love Mad Menners (who doesn't blow out my speakers any more). It's great for someone interested in the whole of Aussie cricket. The guys don't just deal with the national team but cover all elements of Aussie cricket, which you don't often see much of when you're outside of Australia. Great hosts, great guests & a great look at the topics.

1. AWVGCP! Another Winner - Very Good Cricket Podcast - Jarrod blows me away with how he keeps me interested in listening to this podcast, I can't wait for the next episode to drop, I have gone back to the start and listened to each and every one of them. Always interesting, It's amazing how may different cricket stories there are and the bredth and width of Jarrods cricket knowledge seems to limitless. I find this podcast to be highly entertaining and recomend it to every person in anyway interested in cricket. If like me you're a cricket lover, then this is an absolute must listen. Keep up the good work Jarrod. (and his team of course)

2. Outstanding analysis and discussion if you live and love cricket - This is the greatest cricketing community on the internet. Jarrod is a storyteller and data analyst of such skill and wit , paralleled only by his absolute passion, love and vision for game . I mean, anyone who has heard him talk about Associate Cricket or the future of cricket broadcasting will know this. Also, special mention to the Axar Patel video /podcast. Professional analysis of highest degree. Goosebumps all the way through for mins.

3. Fascinating, far-ranging podcast - I really enjoy cricket and grew up watching it in the s. What Kimber does here is connect cricket to wider political, cultural and economic trends, while still keeping it tied to the sport itself. I’ve learned more about English cricket, how cricket broadcasts are and should be created, and about the story of specific Australian cricketers here than I would have anywhere else. The depth, humor and fun far exceeds most anything else I’ve heard. Five stars for this gem that entertains and edifies.
2021-12-15
4. Thoughtful and hilarious cricket podcast. - In my opinion, this is the best cricket podcast out there. Jarrod tackles a fascinating cricket related subject in each episode. I’ve loved every one, except the stuff on Indian cricket, because there’s too much content on Indian cricket anyway. The episodes on SA’s cricket board issues with Firdose Moonda, the episode on Faf Du Plessis and the episode on the West Indian rebel cricketers were three that stood out to me. All the best.
2021-06-03
5. Trust Jarrod to deliver a top quality podcast - Jarrod is one of those insanely talented people whose talent is not understood well enough. Creating top quality content is Jarrod’s thing, be it his written pieces on ESPN Cricinfo or his analysis videos on YouTube. You can see the amount of work he has put into his content, it is evident. This podcast is no different. Thanks Jarrod.
2021-01-31
6. Lovely Podcast - Been a fan of Jarrod from his stints on Polite Enquiries and also for his articles on cricinfo. Really love both this podcast as well as Double Century. Loved pretty much all the episodes especially the ones with Ian Wright, Siddartha and the one on Sreesanth. The only I did not like a great deal was the one on Michael Clarke. Overall a great podcast and look forward to more great content.

7. Cricket’s Hunter Thompson/Guerrilla Analyst - Jarrod Kimber’s [Host] work is consistently entertaining and while the bar for quality analysis in Cricket is fairly low, Kimber would still scale it if it were higher. This and his other podcasts are a must for the well-rounded cricket fan. And he’s the only cricket affiliated professional from Australia [except Gideon Haigh] who is not only easy to like, but to respect. [Jokes aside, there’s certainly less sycophancy surrounding the national side than there was]. If you’re tired of the hyper-partisan and trite chatter that animates much of cricket media, then Kimber’s podcasts and books are what you’re looking for. Recommended without reservation.
2020-08-03
8. Listen for Jarrod Kimber’s Insights & Observations - Jarrod is arguably the best cricket analyst out there and he’s finally come out with his own podcast. Strongly recommended for smart insights into the way game is played by cricketers, covered by media, discussed by fans and managed by administrators. Also, he’s quite smart with numbers so expect evidence-based observations and conversations with guests.

1. Love you guys - I am English American, living in Texas for my sins. I get limited test match cricket here either television or radio. I love Test Match Special (T.M.S.) it’s awesome and I love this program too, infact usually for reports I will turn you on before T.M.S. Obviously Simon Hughes I know did not play test cricket but your self deprecating approach puts that very much into perspective and as such I very much appreciate the absence of ego and bravado. Simon Mann you are lover of the game as I am and that clearly shows, you to are great. Keep your partnership and keep doing what you are doing. For my opinion cricket will never take off in the States, there is little history and modern Americans know nothing of it. We just do not need another sport there is no gap in the sporting market which means it would have to be carved out, that will take an enormous amount of money. The only form of the game that spending money on would be over salami cricket (extending Vic Richards analogy that limited overs cricket is hamburger compared to test match stake) and that is a spectacle that would appeal to the American mind but capturing a slice of that mind is I would suggest almost impossible and enormously expensive. I love your podcast please keep it up you too are great and my cricket withdrawals would be even worse without you.

2. Excellent cricketing insight - This podcast has become one my favorites. Intelligent insight based on many years of playing and reporting on the game. Many of the interviews are with people from the cricketing world that we wouldn’t normally hear from. As an Expat it helps keep me connected and in touch with the game that I really love. However, sadly I’m unable to give the podcast stars currently due to the sound quality and the insistence of playing the voices in mono through just one ear. Nowadays many people listen to podcasts through in ear headphones whilst doing physical activity. Only hearing voices in one ear makes it hard to hear and concentrate on. Could we please move on from this experiment now and just provide clear stereo playback so that we can all enjoy the podcast to the full like all other podcasts. Thank you so much.

3. Awesome podcast, small suggestion - This is one of my favorite cricket podcasts. Very insightful and good humored.

4. Mr - The detail and analysis is really in depth and complete. You strike an excellent balance between presenting the facts and not taking yourselves too seriously. You both have excellent contacts in the game so I think it would be good if you told us how you really feel once in a while. For example: Willis gave Paine a jolly good thrashing. Flintoff told Vaughn it was time to move past . He also praised Smith for being the fall guy for the sandpaper affair when clearly the bowlers would have known what was going on. Simon there is a nearly year old story originating from Pretoria: Pollock was in imperious form as Northern Transvaal played Transvaal. The captain told you to prepare for another spell at the great man. You absolutely refused to bowl to him. True story?
2019-09-13
5. Essential podcast for fans of English cricket - In this podcast, two men named Simon - usually in polite disagreement - offer timely insights on the game, discuss cricket news, events and matches. While primarily focused on English cricket, they often remark on other non-English cricket events. Often there’s interviews with technical specialists and current and past players. Their knowledge and insights are singular and their anecdotes are rich and entertaining. Understandably due to length limits, I do think their stellar analytic insights do sometimes seem abbreviated. Suggestions: It’s my favourite cricket podcast, so I have a few requests/suggestions. Personally, I would like the length to be longer. It would also be terrific to hear more anecdotes. The ones about Viv in earlier episodes were rewarding listening. To hear more about Lara, KP etc would be great. Or maybe episodes that allowed both Simons to focus on the technical side of specific players and anecdotes.

1. The only cricket podcast with analytical flair - Have checked out the vast majority of cricket podcasts. There’s a lot of decent ones but only a couple of outstanding ones. This is one of them. (Usually) Three Indians who have a global and historical awareness of the game beautifully bring it together in a sharp analytical arguments. There is one issue though. It's not frequent enough. Well done gents.

2. Cricket covered with depth and humor - Thank you for having Osman Samiuddin on to talk about his life and his book. For a Pak-American who came to cricket fandom later in adulthood, it was a beautiful and enlightening conversation. There’s something a little otherworldly about cricket from an American immigrant point of view in that it’s a window into a shared colonial past (given the game’s roots) and a glimpse into cultures across the world (including the culture of one’s roots). There’s something real about haal I think. Not everything can be quantified. Many things, but not everything. I think one of those things that demand qualitative evaluation are cultural passions, including the peculiar madness that is Pakistan cricket fandom. Thanks again to you and Osman. I’ll be sending in some support and will be looking for any Pakistan related episodes in your back catalogue. All the best.

2. Cricket info from CricInfo - {I originally wrote this review a year ago. I am now updating it, and removing one star of its rating, because in recent months the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated. It sounds like the panel has exchanged its sound studio for a loo. Still listenable, but annoying.] A rotating cast of English cricket journalists provides good analysis of current events in England cricket, both international and domestic. This podcast is the view from the press box. When listened to in conjunction with The World Cricket Show, which has more of a fan-in-the-stands veiwpoint, an England cricket supporter living in a non-cricket nation will be kept quite well informed of all important developments on the English cricket scene. Good work, gentlemen!

1. Sudha Srinivasan - This is the most passionate fans point of view podcast, I have ever heard. Being in the USA I miss the water cooler talk at work about cricket. This fills up that vacuum perfectly. I started listening to edges and sledges podcast during the famous Australia’s test series in . I could relive every moment with a smile or a goosebump while listening to it. I haven’t missed even a single episode ever since. Good job trio!

2. Most relatable cricket podcast for fans - I got introduced to the podcast last year during the Australia test series. Ever since then I make sure that I listen to the podcast during my walk every Tuesday evening. The podcast is not too technical enough to bore me, but keeps me engaged throughout with all your content and feels I am discussing cricket with my close friends. You guys made me your fans when I got to know your love for Dhoni and Pant (The Rishabh Pant Show :p) given my mad adoration of Dhoni and hence CSK. My weekly dose of cricket updates comes from your podcast. You guys give cricket updates of stuff not only on field but off field discussions too and try to give a holistic view of the updates which I like a lot. Thank you for the podcast and keep up the amazing work you guys are already doing :)

3. You guys are the best podcast for Indian cricket fans! - Hey guys! This is Anuj from California. I had been looking for a cricket podcast with a friendly, conversational vibe to it and I found you guys. Your analysis reminds me of banter that I would have with friends back in school when every Sachin innings mattered more than anything else. I especially look forward to listening to you guys after anything major, like the Gabba test, Kohli’s resignation or pretty much anything Rishabh Pant because I also happen to love the guy. My loyalties to Delhi Capitals will be tested this season because I am originally from Lucknow, but I look forward to continuing to listen to you guys for the days, months, years to come. Thanks for doing what you do, it means a lot!

They are making their podcast very professionally and conduct thoughtful discussion/analysis.

1. Perfect - Sam Ferris is the perfect interviewer. So, when he is interviewing a player he is respectful and interested but he doesn’t grovel. He also doesn’t try & be too friendly with the players which other commentators are guilty of. One thing he is an absolute master of: he asks a question & then listens. He does not insert his opinions into the conversation. Really good place to get up to date on Australian cricket.
