3. I still want more! - I appreciated the poetry of his writing as well as his transparency. In many moments, I found myself wanting a more in depth understanding of the layers being explored in real time (which may be less appropriate/necessary for a YA book). He did a good job of trying to address those kayers with authenticity for how they occurred in the moment and then reflecting on his understanding as an adult. As a teacher, I’ll definitely be recommending this book to my students.

4. inspiring and relevant - a wonderful story for young adults who, much like the author, may be struggling with the navigation of contrasting identities. although I am neither Black nor queer, this book provided commentary on the LGBTQIAP community in a way that allowed me to be educated and impacted, whilst being immersed in one man’s inspiring story and entertaining anecdotes. this book encompassed a gorgeous story telling ability, along with larger life lessons that anyone from any walk of life can appreciate. given the current social and political climate, this is an especially relevant read. highly recommend.

5. Truth hurts, yet it heals that which lies cannot bandage. - I was drawn to this book, maybe the book was drawn to me. However which way you may want to put it I could wholeheartedly empathize with the lyrics of the Fugees classic hit “Killing Me Softly” as the author captivated my pain with his letters, writing my life with his words, killing me softly with his memoir, telling my whole life with his words, literally killing me softly chapter after chapter. 1. This is the best body book!! - I have this book and read it over and over again! Whenever I have a question about my body I can just look in the book. Even tho it is also good to ask a trusted adult questions too ( I know it’s embarrassing but they’ve been through it and know what it’s like). True boys could read it and that would be embarrassing but it is all true and there going to have to know about it sooner or later. I’m just saying that it is a really good book if you want to know more about a girls process through puberty (if you are a girl) then here’s the book! It’s ok if your embarrassed or scared, that is normal! Plus if you have more questions about your feelings then I recommend the American Girl book about your emotions. Good luck! 5. A waist of money for hairless vaginas. - So many things wrong with this book. It contridicted itself, by talking about pubic hair, even though all the girls didn't have pubic hair. Unbelievable! The picture quality was horrible! The last one was better! And this one didn't even teach you how to use a tampon! The last one had step by step instructions on how to use a tampon, with hairy vagina lip openings! This one just showed you how to put on a pad, which is common sense! This book is exactly the same as the last one! Plus, it gives you the exact same information! And this book was $. What a waste of money! If you want more information for your daughter, buy the last book, not this one.

1. - I got my period when I was ,( yes that is very young if you ask me) and this book and the first one was very helpful when I was on my period. I just turned twelve a month ago, and I am still not able to feel like I haven’t wet my pants. ( yes it sometimes feels like that for certain people, maybe all girls) and i really enjoyed the fact that they covered how to us pads, and how to “predict” when ur period is to come, and all that fancy schmancy stuff. 1. Great way to learn & review math facts - Sitting down and teaching kids math facts -- what a task! But not with the Times Alive Program! This is a great way to teach your kids their facts and even years later...have them sit down and review! It is easy on us parents too as not only have they made it fun and EXTREMELY MEMORABLE, but it is set up a way that you can have the kids do it themselves. My oldest is entering high school and my youngest is entering th grade. Without Times Alive I don't know how successful I would have been at teaching them their facts! Amazing! Recommend for everyone!

2. Times tables the fun way! Singing story books - I love this product! My son who is dyslexic could not learn the multiplication tables no matter what he tried. The catchy songs and cute pictures were the Velcro that helped stick the facts in his head. He not only memorized them but had fun doing it. I highly recommend this book.

3. AWESOME!!! - I used this awesome, fun way to help my three daughters learn and RETAIN their multiplication facts. It was especially helpful for one of my children that has trouble memorizing by rote. I am so grateful that this method is available for her way of learning. But more importantly it is so FUN! Even if your child learns well by drilling techniques this is a much more enjoyable process. Plus it is a great way to teach more than one child at a time because of the way it is set up to sing and have fun.

4. Songs help memorize - We have used City Creek products to work on addition facts and are so pleased to have this work on multiplication facts. My kids love the Ipad so it definitely feels less like work to them when they get to use their favorite device. The songs are very catchy and really do aid in memorization. Highly recommend!

5. wished I had found this sooner! (terrible sample does not show how good this book is) - After years of failure using every method I could find or was recommended I finally found times tables the fun way for my dyslexic son and he had learnt them all in only weeks. he would even beg me each night to learn just one more. It really is a fun way and I have recommended it to everyone I know and can't wait to start teaching my younger son with all the great stories and pictures! One thing I would say is do not rely on the sample to show you what the book is really like. If I had seen the sample I would not have bought the book and missed out on one of my best educational finds. The sample only shows the blindly obvious ways to teach and times tables not the brilliant method and stories for the other numbers e.g. we love maths and we want more i.e. x which in the book has a great story and visual to cement it in your mind.

6. Math can be fun - My child has been struggling with multiplication, she keeps telling me how much she hates math. Well, this is so much fun, and the stories and songs make it easy to remember. They are very catchy, and you will be singing them right along with your child. A must have in your childs school tool box!

8. A great company - I have been using these products for two years. My oldest was in third grade at the time and I wanted him to know his times tables. We had worked on it for a little while and he was learning them but it was always a fight. I decided I would invest in some of their books that focused on the times tables. What a change, he happily sat down daily to do the assignments. I could quiz him throughout the day and he knew the answers. I then decided to get the CDROM for him to work on. He has always liked computers and even thou he knew his facts by now, I wanted them engrained in him. So I ordered it. From the first day he stared doing it he has loved it. Not only him, two of his three younger siblings would sit with him and learn them. They were and . The youngest was not even at the time, so she didn't count. I was amazed that my year old and year old learned their facts. They went around singing the songs and understanding what they were talking about. Two years later I still love the products from this company and when I have interacted with them they are always prompt and helpful. I will always tell my friends about this system for multiplication.

9. Great Program! - I was introduced to this program when my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia. It was amazing how she was able to finally learn and remember her times tables. 17. Great way to learn the times tables - My daughter has an auditory processing disorder and so relies heavily on visual information and information given to her in story form. We've used Times Tables the Fun Way to help her learn her times tables quickly. Although I still have to prompt her from time to time, I usually just have to say a one or two word comment that ties to the song or story that went with the fact. She still has some left to learn, but I know we wouldn't have made the progress we have if not for the mnemonic process that Times Tables the Fun Way uses.

1. Great! - It's very informative, especially for a young girl interested in fashion, like graphs of different types of shirts and jeans. They also give advice on style, like how some patterns clash and some don't. I wish that it was catered toward different scenarios and everyday life where fashion is involved, like how to shop at a thrift store or the best way to cover up a spill. Overall, it's a recap of all clothes and more of a straight up guide than all of the other "Smart Girls' Guide" books. It's a great read though, and if you need some good style ideas, buy it.

2. Love it! - This is a fabulous resource for teaching students the multiplication tables through rhyme and song! Even my kindergarten grandson has learned several of the rhymes already and loves listening to the songs when we are riding in the car! 3. Incredibly Fun & Effective - I have used this material while tutoring a fourth grader this year, and it helped him to master the multiplication tables very quickly. Months later, he still occasionally refers to the rhymes when recalling the facts, but he has learned them to the extent that the multiplication tables are instantly recalled! I highly recommend this material as the songs are so much fun and the rhymes help students learn all of the multiplication facts. Knowing these basic facts is crucial to more complicated math so this material is truly wonderful!

1. Outstanding - This book came to me by accident. I was at a yard sale at our local Christian service center. They had hundreds of books that I tried to look through. As I was finally heading over to pay, a lady who I didn’t know, but who was volunteering at the service center, handed me this book, and said, “How about this one?” And So that is how I ended up with this book. It is likely meant for ladies younger than me, as I am in my forties. And after reading, I have passed it on to a younger gal in my family. But I still got a lot of great insight out of this book. And I loved how the author writes. She is so down to earth and it makes this book an easy read. I believe all Christian ladies will get something out of this book. I have never heard of this author before. But I have already gone and purchased some more of her books.

1. Taking advantage of kids - This book is terrible. It’s jam packed of absolutely nothing you could not find on google. Vague life advice like Life is difficult and hollow “fun” facts about her life. Like the fact that her room was redone for her th birthday. You wanna know more about that remodel? Well she ain’t gonna tell you. That’s right that’s all she says and shows. No why or how.. no before or after shots just this happened. In a book about her I learned more about myself then her due to fact that the book keep asking you to write random facts about yourself down for no reason at all. Let me read you and expert from this book: “I would love to go to college. I probably will. It depends on what I’m doing and what is going on at the time. No matter what, I can always go to college at some point if I want to.” That was an actual line in this book, and I believed perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the book. It says nothing, rambles on about nothing, explains nothing, and presents no over all value that you couldn’t find out on google. This would all be fine if the book was free but its not she charged money for this hunk of garbaging know full well the kids that follow her will buy what ever she’s selling because they are kids. She knows she doesn’t have too try so she didn’t. These kids will say they liked this book simply in a sad attempt to get her attention. Kids if you are reading this its ok to like Charli and call her out when she does something bad. That will only help her become a better person. Call her out this book is awful its cash grab if I’ve ever seen one. Don’t let her take advantage of you.

1. The Specifics - I bought the paperback book back when I was in th grade. Since th grade I've been a fantasy, sci-fi, action, adventure, etc writer. But every other "guide" I ever found stuck to the realistic plot lines and gave hardly any imagination to work with. All other handbooks I've ever purchased made me feel distanced from writing, like I was doing it all wrong. But Spilling Ink had some sort of personal connection that I could feel, and it didn't make me feel restricted to writing a certain genre. Its hard to explain but when reading the book, it's easy to understand how great it is. Its inspiring and motivating, how much tips and information it gives you.
