1. Hogan makes it simple! - I have been playing golf for years, taken many lessons, and have practiced hours on the range. This book breaks down the fundamental like no other. If you start with a proper grip, the correct posture, the proper backswing, begin the downswing with you hips, and trust this chain reaction… you will improve.

2. Foundational book - I’m just beginning to pick up the game in my late s and this book has answered so many questions I’ve asked my friends while hacking my way through a course… everyone has a different answer of course. This book clearly (and I assume) accurately lays the foundation for the entire game.

3. Must read book for golfers - Ben Hogan was so ahead of his time. The format of this book is so enjoyable to read and so easy to understand. He provides excellent illustrations and explanations of the fundamentals of golf swing. I’ve been playing golf for years and I’ve never read this book until now. It was a good reminder to me to get back to the basics.

1. Surprised - Maybe it's all in my head, but this book/audiobook has worked for me in under a week. I'm about a handicap and noticed huge differences in focus with a few different techniques that are talked about throughout the book. I've played rounds since I've listened, and I just implemented little things each time and practiced them over and over. And a good compliment to this audio is 'Golf: The Art of The Mental Game'. It's pretty much the same book, but broken down into much smaller, easier to digest segments. But, I wouldn't buy that one without listening to this book fully, then use the other as a guide. I will come back to this full length a lot, though.

2. Best book on golf... - This is by far the best book on golf I have ever read. So much can be said about technique, the grip, the swing etc... All of that is certainly important but the mental side is just as important if not more so. We often forget that golf is but a game but sometimes it seems like its a matter of life or death. This book goes a long way to help bring the GAME into proper perspective. It is written well which helped me to understand that a lot of what was going wrong was in the way I approached the game. Many, many great ideas to help over come the problems I created for myself. I have to say that it has transcended the game and bubbled over into my day to day life as well; a twofer if you will. If you want to improve your game, this is a must read.

3. Great book! - This book did not turn me into a PGA professional, but I was able to use the principals in the book to learn to relax and enjoy the rounds I play. My scores have improved, but more importantly, I enjoy the game much more. I have really come close to eliminating the fear of "embarrassing" myself before taking a shot. I am able to look at each shot as it will be whatever it will be and accept the fact that I may need to scramble on the next shot. The funny part of that is because I am more relaxed, I really do not experience the catastrophic shots I used to. I still hit bad shots but I am able to learn from them. The book also helped me become more aware of when I tensing up and how to back away and relax before a shot. I am much better about thinking about where I want the shot to go, rather than where I don't want it to go. Lastly, I have applied some of the basic principals to my everyday life as well. This has made it easier to "scramble" when making decisions in my life. It is a good book and I recommend it as a good read.

1. Masterpiece of golf history and understanding!! - The easiest, most enjoyable reading about golf technique and history I've ever experienced. Harvey has a wealth of knowledge and an incredible way of explaining in simple easy to understand dialogue. I suggest this for anyone that likes golf, even if it's just a little.

1. All about the money - I had respect for him. Midway through reading this I heard about his latest exploits and greed with the saudis while driving home from work (the book next to me on the seat) million dollars.? And Phil has no idea what abuses they’ve committed.? Driving miles an hour I opened the window and chucked the book out as hard as I could ( good day)

2. Didn’t match the hype - I found the book had great insight into Phil. It was very interesting to see alternatives views on Phil. I didn’t see massive controversy and the areas Of Phil’s poor judgement didn’t seem extraordinary. I didn’t realize how bad the gambling was and I hope he has found help.
While I disagree with his decision to play in the Liv golf series, I understand his issues with PGA. I always had issues with professionals not being paid at a tournament if they didn’t make the cut. If they qualified to play, pay them. In addition, if they are contractor, why can the PGA treat them as chattels?

3. Phil - I’m a “weekend golfer” with a handicap on a good day. I was I intrigued by the comments made by players about golf ball composition and the impact it has on their game. I was also in awe about the commitment these guys have to elevating their game from both a mental and physical standpoint. After finishing the book I text a number of my golfing friends and advised this is a must read. I know they’ll enjoy it enjoy it as much as I did and we’ll discuss it’s content over a beer after many rounds of golf to come!

1. It's all in the title - I agree with prior reviews that this book will aide the better golfer rather than a beginner or high handicapped. Basic fundamentals are discussed briefly and if you don't have a good concept of swing basics you are likely to miss what he is emphasizing. Great discussion on plane theory, but I think he leaves out some much needed discussion on arm rotation and swing length. There are some points he touches on in The Big Miss that he worked on with Tiger that I would have liked to seen discussed in the book. Overall, very helpful and I think a good companion to more in depth studies on the swing. See Ben Hogan.

1. A get better golf guide that makes sense - Jon Sherman hits it in the hole with this book. It will make you rethink the game. It is scary how many mistakes we make as golfers because of bad data. 1. Perfect for any game. - Tiger has amazing golf skills, and now I do too. This book taught me everything I ever need to know to be a great golfer, and has me thinking of my game on the course in different ways. I’ve been golfing for a few years and was just okay before this book. I highly recommend it for all skill levels.

1. Cured my putting yips - Putting used to be the worst part of my game. I had the best putting day of my life the day after reading the principles in this book. I went from three putting - times per round to once every rounds. If you have problems with speed/lag putting, this is the book for you. Love the way this book simplified putting and did away with all of these stroke and mechanic thoughts.

2. Unconscious Feel - I have been playing golf for years and this is the second time I've read Dave Stockton's book Unconscious Putting. When I was young I was a very good putter using an old blade with a wooden shaft. I had no fear of any putt. I stood over most all putts thinking I could make it. As I have grown older I have resorted to different putters to bring back that feel that I had as a kid, even using long and belly putters. As with Dave my father taught me to take a deep breath and relax over the putt in order to relieve all the tension. What Dave does with this book is absolutely spot on. The best book on putting techniques on the market today. It is a must read for all golfers at any age or level of the game. It's also a great instructional book for golf coaches and instructors. Dave's techniques work not only in golf but daily life also. Relax, go with your first instinct, trust yourself and enjoy each moment! Tension, pressure, mixed emotions and stress lead to poor decision making. Listen to Dave and eliminate those bad habits from your golf game and life.

3. Putting - This book really makes a lot of sense. I've read it cover to cover and practiced the drills described and have greatly improved my putting accuracy. . You must ingrain these recommendations into your putting routine and practice, practice, practice. Rereading some chapters may be beneficial. A great addition to my golf library.

4. Not much there, there - I suppose I enjoyed the read and appreciated the emphasis on the mental side of the game. But after hearing it over and over and little else I sort of felt I had been taken. Even Mickelson's prologue suggested that there would be more "meat" to this. Bottom line, I expected much more. Don't waste your time, money.

5. definitely worth picking up! - thank you Mr. Stockton!
caught your / hour episode on The Golf Channel, and was stoked to see you teaching my natural putting stroke.. immediately downloaded your iPhone app, and counted the days for Unconcious Putting to be released. glad to say I have been putting LIGHTS OUT since then! please visit us in San Francisco for a clinic/book signing...

6. Must read - Everything I expected and more! There is a reason that he is the hottest teacher right now, he makes it simple! Dave Stockton's approach is almost common sense, but most of us try to make it harder. I have been experimenting with belly and long putters, but will go back to the traditional after reading this book.

7. This is my new bible - I read this book in a day and can't wait to play a round and get to a good practice green. I am a handicap who feels like I could be a or with a better putting game. This book totally showed me how wrong my entire approach was to putting. This guy is awesome and has worked with the best players on tour. Putting is so important why not learn from the best.

1. Golf Is Not a Game of Perfect - I wish I would have read this book earlier! I feel like portions of the book were written specifically with me in mind haha! I didn’t give it stars only because I did not enjoy reading so many descriptive details about golf courses; I did, however, thoroughly enjoy reading about his mental approach to playing them.

2. Terrific - Bob gives you permission to trust your swing. To never let swing analysis ruin your positive approach on the course. He defines the time and place to work on technique. He removes the constant clutter that fills your brain with negative thoughts about the mechanics of your golf swing. Really it's the analysts, magazines, manufacturers that keep telling you to "buy" in to what they are selling and they can make you better. Bob gets past that and teaches you how to have fun approaching the game in a common sense, focused way............. Oh, and if you do what he says, you'll have a lot more fun and score better.

1. Loved this book - As a fellow person who's passionate about golf I can say this book has given me a fun new insight onto how hard it really is to make it. I laughed hysterically a few times, and wish I had the balls (no pun intended) to take a leap of faith at just about anything and put as much passion as Tom Coyne has into his golf experience. What a great read.

1. Tattletale - Some really interesting stuff here...but this book is like your housekeeper writing a tell-all about your sex life. I do not understand how Haney rationalizes this book to himself. Despite enjoying some of the inside stories and wisdom, I think Haney is a reprehensible opportunist here, willing to sell out his former client for $$$$$$
2015-08-25
2. Not Your Place to speak, Hank. - Hank Haney was not right to write a book about personal and private moments coaching Tiger Woods. I have no respect for him in writing this book and feel sorry for Tiger having his personal life looked at under a microscope in the book and in other forms of media. I wish there was a way for this book to be taken off the market because Hank Haney should be thanking Tiger for all of the years of coaching him, not selling his private moments with Tiger and looking to make more money. Hank Haney owes all of his fame to Tiger Woods for making his teaching popular. Hank Haney was nothing before Tiger came to him for coaching.
2014-03-24
3. Outstanding - If you are a golf fan, or a tiger fan (or like myself-both), this is the book you absolutely need to read. Hank haney did a great job writing a detailed account of his experiences with tiger. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and finished it in less than hours. I thought he was fair to tiger as well-this was not a "bash tiger" book no matter what you've heard or read about it
2013-08-08
4. The Book Miss - Haney was in an extraordinary position working with one of the greatest Golfers ever. His books goes a long way to show that Tiger is not an exemplary person or friend and seems to be selfish and awkward socially. Haney made this point early in the book, but continued to hammer away at it until the end. I was waiting for the Chapter where Haney stood up to Tiger and told him face to face and direct what he thought about Tiger's swing issues and practice habits (or lack of practice, such as on his short game). Not in emails. Why would you work with Tiger for years and not require him to engage in an open and honest conversation with you about what you are both thinking and feeling about your coaching and his learning. Haney feels that it was within his rights to write a book about Tiger because it was His Experiences with Tiger. I believe the book was a total violation of Tiger's personal life and a violation of a Coach-Athlete relationship. Haney spoke about Tiger never really letting him in or never really opening up to him. If Tiger had opened up to Haney, what, Haney would have had a few more chapters in his book and could have further violated Tiger's privacy to the world. I was a big Tiger fan and a Hank Haney fan. I am still a fan of both. But I think less of each of them. Go Tiger!

5. Phenomenal Book - I'm left with my heart pounding, wanting more.. Why did this book have to end??? I read the last page with Arnold Palmers opinion over and over somehow hoping the book could continue. One could only imagine what served as his ultimate intrinsic motivator and the thoughts pondered upon him as he rests his head on the pillow at night. Witnessing greatness had to have been dream like and Tiger's father Earl was correct in his prediction of his son being more influential than Ghandi because he is. I want to know what makes Tiger tick and like you said Hank, that mystery is what makes him great. We will never see another Eldrick Tont Woods, and this book was fabulous from start to finish. So amazed with the precision of dates in combination with detailed conversations that occurred everyday.. It means you viewed what was occurring as being so special that you kept a journal each day of your every encounter with Tiger Woods. I could hope to one day read a book as great as this one. My fascination with Tiger Woods will never subside.

6. BiG Miss - I enjoyed reading this book. It gave the full story of the relationship btw Hank Haney and Tiger Woods. It reveals the reasons behind many of the professional issues affecting Tiger through the years he was with Hank. It also clarifies just how little Hank knew about Tigers fettish and shows insight on how that time affected Tiger both professionally and personally.
2012-11-03
7. My Review - I found Hanks book to be very insightful and detailed about his
time with Tiger Woods. Mr. Haney's book to be a very honest
assessment of both his relationship and work with Tiger. This book also helped me take a look at my own golf game differently and strive for further improvement based on the
details of Hank's comments in the book. I will keep this book as a treasured golf book in my personal
library for future reference. Thanks for a great book. Ken Merbler

8. Enjoyed this a lot - This book gave me a fly-on-the-wall perspective of the greatest golfer and one of the greatest athletes of all time. There are a lot of references to past professional events and language that is geared towards golfers. If you have a limited amount of golf knowledge, you may get lost with some of the terminology (though there is a glossary of terms included). Hank did a great job of telling the story how it unfolded with tact.
2012-07-12
9. The Big Miss - Interesting, but highly predictable essay on Haney's six years with Woods. At the halfway point through the book I couldn't decide whether Tiger or Hank was the biggest ego maniac. By the end, the winner was clearly Tiger Woods. He is without a doubt a magnificent golfer. He is also one of the biggest head cases I have ever encountered. Unlike Hank, who is probably just being charitable, I routinely root against this sleaze bag and hope against hope that Jack's holds up.
2012-06-24
10. Disappointed - I was very disappointed in this book. It seemed to be more of Hank Haney trying to justify what a great coach he was than any inside look at Tiger Woods. The one interesting thought I have is that Hank Haney might have been the biggest detriment to the career of Tiger Woods. Tiger always went for it and would either do miraculous things or not. By training him to play safe and avoid "the big miss" he may have ruined his ability to do what he had always done. My take away from this book is that Hank Haney is very insecure in himself and his time with Tiger. Take that from this review and don't waste your time or money on the book.
2012-05-11
11. It's about Revenge - No doubt The Big Miss is an addicting read, it's quite fascinating to get inside the ropes and peer into the life of probably the greatest player who has ever played the game. My biggest gripe is not whether it is a good book, but rather why Hank even decided to write it in the first place. I believe it's Hank's way of getting back at Tiger. Revenge, similar to what happens after a dysfunctional relationship has expired. Hank had felt Tiger betrayed him and Hank abandoned Tiger when he needed him the most. This book largely sheds Tiger in a bad light, giving away a lot of private and personal details. I have no doubt many of the things Hank talk about is true, but this book is self-serving wether it be for money or other personal reasons. They talk about reconciling their friendship, but Hank, a true friend would not have done this.
2012-05-10
12. Golf historian - Very interesting. Very self serving. Did Hank's wife die or did he dump her when she got sick? He talked about not being able to be with Tiger because his wife was sick in one chapter and then a divorce and later with his new wife. He should have explained. Not clarifying that made him look like he was running around as well.
2012-05-10
13. Really good book - Really good book but I am surprised that Haney would deem it necessary to air out all of Tiger's dirty laundry. Haney wrote the book as if he were a victim, but instead he made himself out to be an disloyal member of Tiger's team. The insight about Tiger's golf swing is incredible. Read this book!
2012-05-09
14. This book is no miss. - There was a lot of negative feedback from many members of the press when this book came out. They hadn't read the book, but they were sure it was nothing more than a hatchet job by a jilted golf coach. That couldn't be further from the truth. Hank has done a great job telling the story of HIS relationship with Tiger Woods. Hank's thoughtful and respectful recap of his time with Tiger shines a whole new light on the sad soul that is Tiger Woods.
2012-05-09
15. The big miss - The book was good, a bit of hesitancy on hanks part to upset tiger, or at lease it seems to me.
The e book part was the most frustrating three times halfway through the chapter it would hang up and just display the same page over and over again.
I would have to go to the next chapter and start from there. Very frustrating and missed some of the book. Boo.
2012-05-08
16. Great read - Right or wrong, hank Haney writes an honest and captivating book about his time with Tiger. If you followed tiger since his amateur days like I have, you won't be able to put this down. I've questioned whether tiger will ever make it back to his previous level and break jacks record, and now i have my answer...
2012-04-27
17. The big mystery - It's all about Hank. If he really had any integrity he would have consulted Tiger beforehand. He has no business writing what he did. The book says more about Hank and his insecurities than anything else. Why else would someone write a book to bring so much attention to himself Too bad!
2012-04-22
18. Really Enjoyed it - As an avid golfer who follows the PGA, I really enjoyed the book. In the end it really was mostly a golf book as Hank said it was. Maybe a little self serving toward the end. But I enjoyed reading about how Hank tried to figure out an extremely complex, driven, great golfer. Not a Tiger fan, but completely respect what he has accomplished and do believe now more than ever that Tiger is and will be known as the greatest golfer ever. Not so much as a friend, husband, or employer. But no doubt the best ever. Very good read.
2012-04-21
19. Harder than it looks. Trust betrayed - It is a decent one-sided read. I think Hank truly believes everything he and Jaime have written. Hank got to peek behind the curtain of the greatest golf champion ever. A reader can tell that Hank was shocked by what learned and at how imperfect Tiger was. I have worked as an employee most of my life and have seen the lack of caring and coldness that the leaders of companies display, so what! They have bigger fish to fry than to take the time to be touchy/feely and make sure everyone feels warm and fuzzy. I think Hank was truly hurt by Tiger's style, but he could have quit anytime. No matter how you spin it, he quit when times were toughest for Tiger. The comparison of the records for the two coaches is a little odd. I think Tiger would have accomplished those feats without either one of these supposed gurus. The line that stuck out to me in Hank's brutally honest exposition was the agent's line about Tiger being a decent guy caught in a tough situation (per-scandal). We will probably never know what led Tiger to do what he did. I did enjoy the book and still have respect for Hank and Tiger, but Hank in the end did betray Tiger's trust.

1. Best golf book I’ve read - I’ve read all of the classics, Five Lessons, On Learning Golf, etc. And they are all great books that I found helpful in one way or another. But none have been as impactful on my swing and my enjoyment of the game as The Keys. There is nothing new here. If you’ve read the others the information is basically the same. But the way the author presents it, the order in which it’s presented and the emphasis he places on just a few keys boils all of the noise down and will have you hitting crisp iron shots in short order. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I have purchased hard copies for my wife and son.

1. Great read - I have to admit I was drawn to read the book after seeing the movie of the same name. It was intriguing to me to realize that sports, and indeed many other vocations, were not always dominated by a few individuals who received lavish support from an early age. There was indeed a time when an amateur could win the US Open. I enjoyed the movie but I enjoyed the book more. Francis Ouimet was led an interesting life and the book makes me appreciate this unassuming man.

2. The best - After seeing and loving the movie, I picked this book up on vacation and began to read. I tremendous insight into not only the history of golf but also the emergence and maturation of the united states. Actually draws, albeit not intentionally, some great parallels with today's politics. Yes I am a golfer, however this book deals more with life's lessons than than golf lessons. 1. Great Book, some flaws - I needed help. I was tired of blading it or hitting the ball and hoping it will go where I wanted it to go. Read the book and spent two days, a little over two hours each day, chipping from off the green out to about yards to a hole that had target lines at and feet. It took some work for it to make sense, but now I have control over my chips, pitches are much easier, and I love sand shots. I use my sand wedge for everything off the green within about yards. Love my sand wedge now. The book looses a star because there are photos out of sequence in the book I downloaded. Some of the photos have circles for numbers and no numbers (looks like a cold Sun bouncing around the sky). That should be fixed and I would love to see some links to video for some visual support. That aside, the information is priceless.

2. art of the short game is excellent - Stan's approach does a on conventional teaching. I was skeptical until I brought it to the practice green and ultimately the golf course where it actually worked exactly as described. i have already had more chip ins in the last month than in the last years and more shots have had a chance to go in than ever before. A great confidence booster for my long game! jim b.

1. Great read - The author did a great job in keeping someone who has watched the Master’s since the early ’s intrigued. It went into entertaining depth about the history of the tournament, the players that were the bedrock of the event, and the past champions through Tiger in . I read it in only a few days because each chapter’s heading made me want to read more. Great approach to something that has been written about many times before!

1. An Absolute Game Changer - I love golf. I really love it. There is so much folklore surrounding our game. Everyone has an opinion about the game. Everyone has their theories and opinions about what they need to work on, or what the most important part of the game is. Dr. Broadie doesn’t have opinions. Dr. Broadie doesn’t have vague notions based on anecdotal moments. Dr. Broadie has data, facts, and objective math. This book has changed the way I see the game of golf. There are no subjective statements made in this book. Well, I don’t know…maybe there a few. But, understand that Dr. Broadie has created a method of analyzing the game which is immune to subjective manipulation of the facts. I would highly recommend this book to any golfer who wishes to learn how to improve their game. Remember that scene in The Matrix when Neo can see the code? Well, when I play golf now, I can see the numbers before me, expressed in strokes being gained or lost.

2. Gets it right - The revolution in sports analysis began with Bill James in baseball and is solidly and expertly accomplished here for the sport of golf. While refinements will/did come along, this approach to understanding golf is timeless. For the first time we are able to really understand what is actually going on in the game and we have a framework for analyzing what a golfer can actually do to improve.

3. Total debunking of old school thinking - Statistics are hardly an exciting topic to read. However this is applied statistics and unveil some astonishing new concepts regarding shooting lower scores. Unfortunately dim witted and or stubborn people like Gary Player will continue to push the ‘Drive for show putt for dough’ philosophy which you will discover is % rubbish.

4. Worth the read. - Sorry, I've got to counter the critical review below. I read a ton of golf books, so far this year. I thought this was a great read. This book uses science to contradict many long held theories of golf. Will it make you a better golfer? I dunno, but it has changed my practice habits, and strategy on the course. My scores are lower for starting the season than they've ever been. I give this book some of the credit.

1. Good for your brain good for your game - I'm halfway through and if you want a book about swing planes and spine angels this is not the book for you. This book helps you with your attitude and mental interworkings from the practice range to the course which is at least % of the game in my opinion. This book will not only lower your scores but more importantly make you a better golfer.

1. Pay the Man! - Took up the exercises in the off season and made a difference! The circuit exercise routine didn’t require a much of an investment in home gym equipment and the exercises had a sneaky improvement on core strength without requiring crunches, etc. while working out other muscles. Multi level variations on the exercises so you can find your level and advance from there. Much better and more stable posture over the ball which improved ball striking. Highly recommend

2. Essential exercises, simple, logical - Having done similar programs with personal trainers I can confirm this plan contains essential exercises in a simple logical presentation. It is the script, now you need to become your own director to guide yourself through the program. Its worth it!
When I ( ) did such a program with a trainer I gained yards on my drives, they were more consistent and at the same time seemed more effortless .....

1. Good Investment - This book is a very good investment if you are serious about the S and T swing. I wasn't going to buy it because I own the videos, but the book gives some different ideas you really should see. Especially helpful are the "how it feels" pieces from the pros. A definite read and will help you get to the next level

2. Having fun again with less pain on the day after - Thank you to Chris Gustin at Marbella Golf and Country Club in San Juan Capistrano for introducing me to Stack and Tilt. At first, it was easy to see the picture examples of why it works. That is what sold me into giving it a try plus I was getting tired of being sore with my back and hips with the conventional swing I was using. But after a few minutes on the range it just comes natural as you reprogram your brain from the conventional nonsense that teaching pros are selling out there. I want to swing like Jack N, Sam S and most importantly Ben Hogan! If you do too.... Stack and Tilt is here for you. I went from to . handicap in two months.

3. Great reference - I am a stewart of the golf swing. I found this book to be full of pearls. Some which were reinforce by the book others which were completely new to me. I tried the framework of the swing. Can say I was not perfect but my ball contact improved immediately. I am a single digit player who is always looking for the next lesson to take me over the edge. I believe I have found it in this book. I would highly recommend to all who are looking to improve there golf game.

1. An American Caddy at St. Andrews - Wonderful book! As one who has made three trips around the Od Course plus two of the other courses...with caddies, I found the book very interesting. It's a must-read for golfers planning a trip there. My only regret was that I must not have tipped to the level expected!
Tee hee!

2. So good you won't want to put it down - I'm amazed at how much I loved this book regardless that I don't play golf! If you have just a passing interest in St. Andrews and a passing interest in just golf you'll love this book. Beautifully written with just the right tempo. Young and old alike, try the sample and then just download the whole book. You won't be sorry.

3. A must-read for all golfers - Could not put this book down. Heard about it through an acquaintance of mine and decided to flip a couple pages. Great stories, great writing and great (real life) characters. I've always wanted to visit St. Andrews and now my interest has skyrocketed. A great book about golf, caddying and growing up. A great read for golfers and non golfers alike (although the references wi make more sense to the knowledgable golfer)

4. An American Caddy in St. Andrews - Ollie Horowitz leads the reader through a fascinating journey of caddy life and what it takes to be accepted in St. Andrews, the home of golf. Accepted to Harvard for the following year, the author decides to spend his year at St. Andrews as a non matriculated student and learning to be a St. Andrews caddy. From being a trainee required to go though strenuous learning situations and constantly being tested by the ever present caddy master and senior caddies Horowitz describes in funny detail the people, their personal stories, and the growth of his life experiences in St. Andrews. His writing style is such that you are living besides him as he experiences both the good and not so good times in Scotland. This is an excellent read and not easily put down. You don't have to be a golfer to enjoy this book.

1. Awesome book! - I have been struggling with my natural process of learning music, and sometimes I feel like skills that I learned during practice session doesn't stick with me for long before I lose it. This book has helped me with my inner mind and let my own body learn to be aware and learn it naturally.
I highly recommended to anyone to any field who wants to be accurate on what they are doing!

2. Do you still use a wooden Driver? - I read this book in the late 's and it did nothing for me. It was probably one of the first attempts at publishing golf related sports psychology but the author was a hack who wasn't breaking if I remember correctly and he wasn't working with any pros or anything like that. I think he might have worked with some good tennis players but even then, different sport. If you have the money to waste buy the book and read all about the "bouce, hit". You think "bounce" on the backswing and "hit" on the downswing. Woo woo, innovating! Keep in mind that some tour pros were still playing with wooded drivers when this came out. I would suggest Golf is Not a Game of Perfect by Dr. Bob Rotella, that was and remains the best book I've ever read on golf - period! I had the tools to become a single digit handicap player when I read that book and it's teachings went well beyond "bounce, hit". Rotella works with tour pros and his insight is exceptional. Learning how to practice properly, stay in the present, focus on a target and execute a pre-shot routine made a huge differnce in my game. I'm a hadicap today and the Rotella book allowed me to get the most out of my limited talents. "The Inner Game of Golf" is like first grade compared to the college level course of "Golf is Not a Game of Perfect". There are other great books on golf psychology as well that are also far more golf specific than this "bouce, hit" effort.

1. The great American course story - Quite simply the culmination of a journey equal to the search of greatness in terms of what the golfing soul seeks. This is the brilliance in depiction of a golfing walkabout across a vast nation and telling that story in a manner befitting of this generation’s equivalent of Darwin. It is brilliant and makes you want to take every swing for yourself.

2. An adventure in golf nostalgia - Having read Tom’s books on Ireland and Scotland, I couldn’t wait to read his newest book. It was just wonderful. Twenty-eight years ago, I was asked to join three high school friends to play in what they called The Bethpage Open, Bethpage being the courses where these Long Islanders first played golf. Four trips to Ireland and playing many of the courses that Tom played in writing his new book brought back many memories of our “Open” experiences every year of the past twenty-eight. I have recommended the book (books) to all my golfing friends. I felt like a caddy on his wonderful journey!!!

1. Collecting them all! - After I read the pink and yellow books, I still wanted more. I thought they were a bit expensive at first, but then I realized they are much better than private lessons for me. So I have so far and will collect them all. It’s a great deal and worth every penny. I am a visual learner and these books are incredible. I guess you can tell I am a Christina Ricci fan. I hope she comes to Cincinnati.
