1. Loving this series- engaging mystery! - Kristen Ashley proves how versatile her writing can be with this captivating romantic thriller. Rus, Special Agent Zachariah Lazarus, has been the lead investigator filling the serially killer they call the Crystal Killer. He lands in Mystic Pines when they think they have his next victim. While investigating, he crosses paths with Lucinda Bonner, employer of the victim and catches Rus’s attention and proves herself useful in helping with aspects of the investigation. I loved all the layers and depths you get with this installment in the Mystic Pines series. We get to see some of the more layers form the previous installment as well as meet some new ones. What sets this apart for me was that it’s told entirely in third person from Rus’s point of view. In addition, you get a lot of details as you follow along with his investigation and really get to know these characters in depth. The romance aspect was very slow burn, but still enjoyable, but the emphasis in this one is definitely on the mystery and investigation. I can’t wait for more of these and have a whole cast of characters I’m hoping we get books for- Jase, Jesse, Yeager, and Moran.

1. Innocent Target - I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. I could not put this book down. The plot was fast moving and thoroughly entrancing. The scenes were vividly playing in my mind just like a movie. The characters were very believable. Hadley is a strong but gentle loving woman who had to grow up early due to a competitive mom. Hadley is now in contact with her wealthy father and brother. It is because of her wealthy father that a contract to kidnap her is put out on her. Axel is a man that is paid to kill for living. A copy of the contract is given to him as someone thinks it is a mistake and wants Axel to look into it. I adored Axel and his strong alpha tendencies to protect Hadley. The journey to their HEA is full of conflict and mystery. Who put out the contract? Were there more hit men out there? Would Hadley accept Axel into her life knowing what he did for a living? This book was written in multiple POV format. Getting into the mind set of the characters is really necessary to fully understand the characters. I really think that Ms. Reus did a wonderful job in crafting a really intriguing suspenseful romance. Some items in this story my cause certain triggers for some readers. There is no graphic descriptions of violence but the kidnapper's intention for Hadley was mentioned. If you love suspenseful romance, then this one is for you.

2. A must read!!! - It’s been a while since I’ve read a Katie Reus Book, and Innocent Target has drawn me right back in to her writing!!! We’ve got the mystery and suspense we’ve always loved from her, along with a sexy alpha hero, and sweet heroine. Axel and Hadley were perfect together. They definitely leveled each other out, and it was great to see him go from someone who was a bit scary, to a guy who would do anything for his love. I enjoyed the fact that even though her dad and brother are new in her life, they are completely protective of her, and would give their life for her. A phenomenal must read I would definitely recommend!!!

3. This rocks! - Awesome addition to the Redemption Harbor series. This is the story we’ve waited for..Hadley’s HEA. We met Hadley in Dangerous Witness. She is the half-sister Brooks never knew he had. She has moved close to her father and brother in order to get to know them and continue with her attempt to become a vet. Little did she know that this would make her a target for revenge. There are people who don’t like her brother or her father and she is just an innocent pawn, waiting to be used by them. Axel is not a nice guy. Well, he is but he doesn’t see himself as anyones hero. He definitely doesn’t think he can be that for Hadley but something about her just grabs him. He becomes her protector, then her friend and eventually her hero. Love the gang from Redemption Harbor. If you haven’t read the earlier stories, you can read this as a stand alone but why would you? Katie Reus has another winning series.

4. INNOCENT TARGET - Axel is a contract killer, yet overall a good guy, he falls for Hadley. Mistaken contract, now he wants to warn her, and get out, was easier said then done. She was naive, a new father and family with money. Someone wants her dead. Well done plot of a love they both felt they shouldn’t have, the heart knows best. Protection and love is what Hadley needed, and he was the best there was, a good series, and good plot. Readers will love Axel and Hadley. Can be read as a stand alone, but all in series is good. 5. A new favorite! - When I read the blurb on this book I knew this one was going to be my favorite of the series. I love the idea of a contract killer falling for a target. Already being a fan of Katie Reus and her Alpha's, I knew she would do this particular story line justice. If you have never read this author before, she doesn't go very dark in her series. While the hero is a contract killer, he is still very much a good guy. He's just lost faith in the system and has taken it into his own hands to bring down the bad guys. Hadley is a fairly new character to the series. We got introduced to her in the previous book when she approached Brooks letting him know she was his half sister. Her mom kept her from her father and Brookes growing up and is just now getting to know them. Hadley isn't from the world that Axel, her brother and all the other characters in this series are from. She's still young and somewhat naive but she gets a fast introduction into their dangerous world when she becomes the target. This is an awesome series and I'm looking forward to the next book. 1. So bad - I seriously wish I did not waste my money on this. There are so many random plot points that don’t even make sense or are addressed. The end is cheap and also doesn’t make sense. The characters are boring. Even with an interesting idea it’s somehow still boring and I struggled to finish it. When I did finish it I was so underwhelmed. Just all around horrible. Seriously I don’t understand how anyone enjoyed it.

2. Loved it. - Personally I really found this book interesting and unique. It wasn’t just a basic storyline that everyone used. And it included my favorite genres. I was lost in the book, I just wanted to read it more and more and personally, I don’t think I’m that much of a book person. Id definitely recommend this book more so to teens or young adults for sure. Also I just wanted to add, the character, Silas, how he expressed his love for Charlie, it was just so beautiful, I genuinely cried at times.

3. Not her best - Ive read all of Colleen’s books now and i have to say this is her worst one. If this is your first read by her please go check out too late, heart bones, etc anything else. I get that is was her and another author but wow it was very poorly written. I hate leaving a bad review but she is a great author and shouldn’t be known for this book.

1. Saber and Caro EPIC conclusion! - Brenda does it once again! What an amazing series this was and ending it with Saber and Caro was epic! I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book. I gasped, screamed and cried at different times throughout this entire series! There has been lives lost through this series, but this book had me turning the pages faster and faster to see what happens or what happened to loved ones. The undying love in this book, heck the entire series for that matter is amazing. The way they all come together to help each other with the savages and demons throughout the series was nerve wracking! I don’t want to say much about this one, because I don’t want to give anything away. BUT, I will say just read it and you will NOT be disappointed!!! Brenda keep up the good writing! Fan for life!!!

2. LOVE - I have read this series as well as the Awakening. I’ve been hooked from the start and enjoyed every story. I fell in love with every character and cried with those lost. 4. All grown up! - It’s wild to think that this all started with Sera and Liam! I fell in love with Saber in the last book and he continues to hold onto my heart. Reading through Vampire Awakenings and The Alliance has been such a gift. I adore the world that is set up and the intricate details of each character. No two characters are alike! Everything has been building to this final battle. It brought me to tears and making me hold my breath, and I just adore it. It’s so worth it to finish out this series! Anything done by this author continues to be a gem! Getting to “check in” with so many of the other characters made my heart so full!

The finale is here - This is the final book in the alliance series and it does not disappoint The battle is finally here with the demons savages hunters vampires it’s gonna take a lot to defeat the hideous demons that are wrecking the world when Brie and Sabor share the same vision showing what’s gonna happen to the world if the demons succeed in destroying everything and continuing wrecking havoc on humans and vampires so they know it’s time to face them but when a mission goes wrong and people are captured from the alliance they know ready or not they have to face the demons or risk loosing of their fighters but it’s not gonna be easy defeating the savages and demons so when they go down in the sewer drains to rescue Sabor and his mate the demons try to run but once they get them where they want them the alliance members realize what they have to do and don’t know if they’ll make it out alive. This book had me reading late into the night to see what happens I could not put it down even knowing I had to get up early for work. Will all the alliance members and their mates survive the battle or will some be lost read this book to fine out. This is a series so make sure to read book Eternally bound if you haven’t yet you will not be disappointed. Brenda K Davies is an amazing author and really knows how to tell a story!

6. The emotions that you feel are so real. Super intense. - The roller coaster of trials that Caro & Saber go through are rough. I can feel the emotions while reading this book. Super intense. Brenda never disappoints. I love how while reading this book I can in vision myself there part of the action and the love and the heartache. 7. What a way to end this series! - Wow! What a way to end a series. While I am truly sad this is the last book in the Awakening and Alliance world, this story was a great way to end. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the fight Caro had in her and how she stood up to Saber when she felt like she needed to. I wanted to strangle Saber at times but he definitely redeemed himself once he realized he truly cared for Caro. It was also great getting another glimpse into the other characters from both series. Thank you Brenda for bringing this world to us!

It’s was also hard to follow because it was a spider web of stories. First time reading this authors, two books in and sadly I won’t finish the series. This was terrible.

2. Great read - This is a great read. It picks up where the first book left off and I can’t wait to read the third in the series. His book is about piecing together what happened in the past years to fix what is happening now so Rick and Candace can be together. It pulls characters from other series in without making you read the other series first.

3. SavageBurn is hot hot hot! - OMGEEEE!!! That ending! LRJ kills it with Savage Burn and knows how to get you to beg for more! She is the queen of cliff hangers. The more I get deep into these books, the more I fall for Rick. Yeah I called him Rick, we are on that level now lol. Candace has become a kick woman. I love her determination and beauty from the inside out. Savage Burn pick up from where we left off with Savage Hunger. There is action and a whole lot of problems happening all at once. There is a lot of betrayal and many layers that we will peel away. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, another character drops in and Rick's past comes crashing in. I never expected more to happen! So what is next??? Like I said the ending was EVERYTHING and more! Some hate cliff hangers, but I don't! I need the adrenaline that it brings. I immediately want to talk about it with fellow readers and come up with ways that the trilogy will play out! Savage Burn will light you on fire!!!!

4. Savagely good! - So much going on. Rick is balancing on a very thin thread trying to keep Candace and her father alive against some very skilled men, as well as keeping her away from her slime ball fiancé. And what a slime ball he is! Ugh. That man needs to go down. He's also trying to prove to Candace that he won't be leaving her again, so we get a really good look into them being very honest about things. Their relationship is building that trust that they need to make it through to the end. I love the Walker men. I love that so many are showing up to help Rick when he's always been the one helping others. And the best part, the mention of one of my favorite anti-heroes. I really hope that means he is making an appearance in book .

5. Savage kills hard and loves harder - This picks up right where Savage Hunger leaves off. There are still plenty of edge of your seat moments and love. So much love. As Savage and Candace and the Walker guy try to find Candace’s dad and save him, they don’t have long till some blood will be spilled to keep people safe. I can’t wait for the third book. Lisa is definitely leaving you wanting more. You should not miss out on this great read.

10. This trilogy just gets better! - This trilogy is just getting better and better! I absolutely love Rick Savage! He is a true alpha with a fabulous sense of humor! I am so enjoying this character. I love the humor that Ms. Jones is bringing to the table with this! This is the continuing story of Candace and Savage. The heart and the heat between the two continues to burn brightly. The intrigue and action is front and center in this heart-racing story! You get some answers to questions, and then more questions are asked!! 11. The cliffhanger of all cliffhangers! - Whoa! The cliffhanger of all cliffhangers! I struggled with the first few chapters, getting back into the story after the time between book one and two. But it’s Savage so I got the bug again. Reading back to back is the best way so then the cliffhangers are less painful and I can read their story from start to finish. Complex doesn’t begin to describe Rick Savage. The situation he finds himself in, Candace and her father? It’s a losing battle and so many people are pulling the strings you can’t anticipate who coming at them next. I did enjoy the cameo by Pocher (grits teeth and flips the bird) and the phone call to a certain “non-mafia” hottie. Yes! That’s the one! I love how the story is coming together and building in intensity. I cannot wait for Savage Love!!

2. AWESOME - The moment I picked this book up, I couldn’t stop reading, literally! It consumed me and kept me wanting more. 3. The Witness by Nora Roberts - It was one of the best books I have read in a long time (and I read a lot!). I was not a fan of Nora Roberts as I'm not a fan of romance novels of which I knew she mostly wrote.. But I could not put this book down... I pretty well knew how it was going to end, well at least I thought I knew, and still couldn't put it down. There was substance, good characters, and wonderful lines that made me laugh out loud... You cannot go wrong in reading this book. Enjoy!!!

4. NR One of my favorite authors - NR seems to come out with new style in her writings. This is a ‘ parter’ all in one book, clearly defining the story. It seemed a little weird the first time I read, but now it seems right. Great story build, smart h/H, no stupid characters. I read…a lot… or more books a week easy. I don’t forget what I read either, a bit of a bummer as re reading is not as enjoyable, but I’ve re read this book at least times already. It’s a great story, it has challenge, strength, humor, guts, all the things you want to read with a satisfying ending that leaves you happy/content. NR is a truly talented writer.

I hope you pick up "The Witness" by Nora Roberts and see for yourself what makes this coming of age story a suspenseful drama full of mystery and hope. I also enjoyed the audiobook performance by Julia Whelan. She brings out all the emotions of the characters in her voice tone and reading style. Lovely job, Julia, thank you.

7. So-So - I've been a loyal fan of Nora Roberts for years. I had mixed feelings on this book, though. It started off really well and was very faced paced. With such a fantastic beginning and middle, I was hoping that the ending would Ve equally as great! While it was good, it was far from spectacular. The ending seemed rushed and the characters/situations felt false and left a lit to be desired. This book really surprised me. I guess I just expect more from Nora, not less.

Fantastic end to an amazing story! - There is nothing more precious than a man who is so completely out of his league, but still struggles through to do the things that he needs to do for his family. If Santiago hadn’t already stolen my heart before this book he certainly did here. This book is an epic conclusion to an amazing story that I could not put down. I loved every minute of this ride, and fell even harder for Santiago as the story progressed. I loved Ivy’s strength. I loved Santiago’s softness. And Eva was the icing on the cake - I just ate up every scene she and Santiago were in together. This trilogy was amazing, and this book was exactly what this story needed.

1. Talk about getting revenge - This book goes right after Brenna’s rescue. It’s actually about the woman (Who at first thought was a boy) that tried helping Brenna. I didn’t really know how at first it was going to turn into the way it did with Pierce. I knew it was going to just confused. Pierce takes Mila into the torture chamber to find out what she knows that the Russian are up too. Little did he know that Mila was not with this group. She was there for revenge that went wrong. Due to what happened to Pierce’s sister with the Russians and everything she went threw, and the fact that the Irish Mafia and the Italians Mafia are working together to fight the Russian Mafia. He obviously don’t believe her. Until he sees her scars. Just a heads up those who can’t read about Rape or Abuse this is NOT for you. I liked this book. It was nice to see that they both had things in common. Was not happy how it started knowing how he felt about about what happened to his own sister, but being in there mind’s and seeing what they were thinking, I don’t know. I guess it helped to be able to read it. I am not going to judge the book on that though because believe it or not that is really happening in this world. The book was a good story. 2. Loved this book! - Read it straight through! I loved the conflict between the main characters. Both have been hardened by what they have faced in life and have walls up. 5. Ms. Roberts is awesome - Nora Roberts can write no wrong. I have being reading her novels foe almost years starting with Sanctuary and moving forward and back to read anything and everything she has written. Not once has she disappointed me. Whiskey Beach is no exception. Once again, a love story that touches the heart, makes you yearn for justice, and fall in love not only for Eli and Abra, but also Hester, Maureen, Mike, And Barbie. 6. very disappointing - I'm historically a Nora Roberts fan, but man, this was boring. Started off good but the entire middle of the book is so boring I could barely make myself keep reading. Same basic dialogue between basically the only two characters the entire time. Painfully slow. Everyone in the book is also rich so there is a lot of wealthy people dialogue/problems - what art work do we buy, whose going to buy my groceries this week.... ugh. Not recommended.

I’m not one to tell the story in my reviews, although I praise the writing talent of Lisa Renee Jones. This book is the end of Savage’s trilogy but it had characters of other series. 8. Another fantastic series! - Another fantastic series! I read this third book in the Savage trilogy in less than hours. This series needs to be read in order. It picked right up from where book two ended. And then from there it continued to hold my interest. I was so anxious to know what was going to happen with all the parties involved. Rick and Candace are so good together. Rick never thought he would be with the only woman be ever loved again. And Candace never thought she would see the love of her life again. So, good things do happen. These two are inseparable, once they reconnect. Savage is always concerned Candace is not going to love the “killer” that he is. And Candace is always afraid that Rick is going to run again. But talking things out every time there is doubt helped these two that see that they had nothing to worry about. Of course, there relationship isn’t all unicorns and rainbows. It’s ugly. Only because there are others who don’t want them to be alive. So with the help of the Walker team (I love them) they work together to get rid of all the obstacles that are in the way. They also get the help of Kane Mendez and Liliah Love. 9. Fantastic conclusion! - I got such a kick out of this final book. The surprise appearance of a much loved couple was a big part to why I loved this ending. However, seeing Rick Savage finally get his girl really made me happy. I've loved his big, silly presence in so many books, but you could see he held in a pain from his past. As lovable as he always came across, I just wanted to see him happy. Candace was a bit of a surprise for me. I'm not sure what I imagined for Rick, but she ended up being perfect for him. I really like how she just got his silly sense of humor, and how she grounded him. As a bonus, you get to see all the Walker Security guys in this last book. I love how they came together for Rick and Candace. You could see how he finally felt like he was home and a lot of that had to do with these guys. I'm feeling a bit greedy. Since we got Rick's story, now I want more. There is another Walker guy who hasn't found his forever yet. I hope that's coming soon.

Bring On The Villains! - I find myself running out of superlative adjectives to describe Katee Robert’s books. “Learn My Lesson” is yet another star read from an author whom I expect to bring all kinds of sexiness and feels to her writing. The WICKED VILLAINS series started with a bang, and I can not recommend “Desperate Measures” more. Jasmine and Jafar were incredible. Ms. Robert brings that same magic to the next book, this time featuring Hades, Meg and Hercules. The series itself is a fantastic premise — reimagining the villains of lore and legend and spinning their stories on their axis. In this book we get to know Hades, a man who seemingly controls everything, his significant other, Meg, who finds herself longing for more, and Hercules, the man who might be able to give the two lovers what they need. Three is definitely NOT a crowd in this story. It has everything you want — romance, passion, intense emotions. (Plus there are some wickedly sexy times.) I highly recommend this latest from Katee Roberts, and look forward to more from her incredible imagination!

4. In Death - I read this about five years ago after I found a tattered copy in a box of books my mother had. I'm not a big sucker for romance type detective stories but when I started reading I couldn't put it down. Even though I've read this a dozen times or more it still keeps me hooked. Naked in Death and Survivor in Death are my two favorites out if the In Death series.

5. Great start to a compeling series - I've read a few JD Robb books and been pleased with every one. I started out listening to audio books, and got hooked after "Born in Death". There were these fascinating characters, but the main hook was Eve and Roarke. Their relationship carried the book when the mystery lagged a little bit. I read this book becasue I wanted to read how everything started. After the familiarity with Peabody and Mcnabb, it was interesting going back when everyone was introduced. By the way, Peabody and McNabb don't make an appearance in this book. "Naked in Death" does really well with the human element. I care about these characters, especially Eve Dallas, the hardened female cop. I'm a guy and straight, but I love strong female characters. They start redefining the female stereotype, and Eve is the perfect example. She's down to earth, makes great comments, but the best part, is that she cares for the dead and her job. After the initial walkthrough of the first crime scene, the reader feels the unnecessary loss just as Eve does. JD Robb doesn't mush up the scene either, but gives a perfect mixture of seriousness and sympathy. "Naked in Death" is at its core a mystery novel. Yes there's romance, and yes the scenes can get quite graphic, but the story is the mystery. Having read over ten of her novels so far, the mysteries have been up and down between good to great. This one was a great one. It's nothing like throwing in a mystery around the setting of the novel. We're in the late st century, and how better to show it than killing a legalized prostitute. JD Robb does a great job integrating current law and current customs in the new United States. Prostitution is legal now, as long as one has a license, and guns are now prohibited. The mystery showcases this new New York quite well, and the story doesn't just use the "future" tag to lure in more readers. Robb explains it, and brings the time to life. Back to the mystery. Without giving anything away, the plot does give some twists and the conclusion is quite satisfactory. People read JD Robb books for different reasons. Some for the mystery, and some for the romance. This is when JD Robb shows her Nora Roberts colors. Love is in the air, but it isn't awkward at all. Roarke is a cool guy, and quite complex. Outside of Eve, he's my other favorite character. The man is richer than God, but still has heart and a comedic personality. Roarke provides the readers with a smirk, and we soon see him as the really cool rich guy. The chemistry between the two is great, and as I said, helps move the story along. All in all, "Naked in Death" is a great start for this series. The mystery is compelling and the origin story between Roarke and Eve couldn't get any better.

6. Great Start to a Series - After reading good reviews I decided to read the Eve Dallas series in order. Naked in Death is a simple crime story that wasn't too hard to figure out whodunit halfway through the novel. But the characters were great and kept me interested throughout. I'm a big fan of Michael Connelly's Harry Bosh novels and I'm happy to find another cop character to follow. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

7. Naked in Death - I'm not usually one for detective stories, but a trusted friend, who's screen name reads Roarkisdreamy, testified to the worthiness of this series, and being without anything to read, I chanced this first of the series. I'm also not one for futuristic Sci Fi anymore, though I partook plenty in my youth, so the first few pages scared me when I realized the story was set in a time after I'm off planet the old fashioned way. Anyway, long story short, I was seduced, almost immediately by the depth of Eve's character. The writing was not disappointing, the story and mystery unfolding were compelling, and the sex scenes were warm and satisfying. My friend Ro, as we call her, happy to hear I was satisfied, assured me that this book wasn't even her favorite of the series. Hence, I'm off to purchase more. Happy reading!

8. Wow - I read this book in less than twenty four hours, and that included work and sleeping! This was a fast read, but in a good way, it zipped along at a great clip, the author wasted no words and I respect that. I loathe extensive scene set ups, I don't need the pattern of the carpet thanks though. The two main characters are so well written, they pull you in, you root for them. I literally cannot wait to see what these two get up to next! Btw the sex was hot, hot, hot, and the heat between them practically came off the page!

2. That Devil Donnelly - How could a slow burn story be so hot? The story of Aurora and Jack was both heartbreaking and up lifting. I know it may seem hard to believe when you first start this story, but Aurora evolves into Rory, a strong, amazingly funny woman who isn't afraid to make her choices and state her mind. And Jack loves her for it. And he doesn't beat his chest and insist things have to be his way. But he's there to support her and encourage her and never allow her to think he doesn't care for her. This is a bit of a departure from the usual marriage as a business decision story and I LOVE IT. The author is able to evoke such emotions from her characters I feel as if I know them and I'm crying and laughing along with them. Looking forward to the rest of the Donnelly stories.

1. Good plot but… - I liked the plot, but was left largely dissatisfied. The writing and dialogue felt so cliche and immature that I couldn’t really connect to the story. Both characters were spilling out all their issues in the first chapter! I understand that the author was setting the scene but it was too much too fast. Also, the switches in perspectives from one paragraph to the next was weird.

2. All that and a Navy SEAL!!! - I guess when it's right, it's right and this is how the relationship went for Faulkner "Dude" Cooper and Cheyenne Cotton. He's the ultimate alpha. He's possessive, loving and likes to be in charge in the bedroom. What more could she want in a man? How about all that and a Navy SEAL! As fast as the romance happens in the other books in this series, this one happens even faster. The story line is great but I almost felt rushed while reading. I can't imagine all that Cheyenne went through. All that tape! What a nightmare! Thank you Susan Stoker for another great read. I can't wait to read about which SEAL falls next. 1. Favorite of the series - Everleigh and Archer are my favorite couple...and probably overall characters...of the series! I knew going in, after reading the previous books, that Everleigh was loud, naughty, funny and giving. She's a firecracker and Archer has better watch his back. Fresh out of prison after taking the fall for a loved one, Archer needs a fresh start and a place to stay. Coming to work for friend Tyler, and living with his off-limits sister, Everleigh, might not be his wisest move at first, but it quickly becomes the best idea ever. While agreeing to be only friends and roommates, their chemistry lights up every page. Their slow burn relationship...because you know it will ignite at some point...was filled with understanding, laughter and fun. And the mystery and danger surrounding them was wonderfully written. At times, even I was unsure of what was going on (but I picked up on it along the way). The pacing of Only Mine was great, and at times I forgot it was previously released as a duet. It was more cohesive than the earlier books, imho, which made the story flow smoother for this reader. I enjoyed the cast of secondary characters coming back and being intertwined again, but the addition of Everleigh's friend and co-worker, Lexi, brought a new and hilarious vibe to the store. I cannot say enough about this pairing and this book. Only Mine gets big stars from me.

2. No Character Development This Time - I love Lani Lynn Vale’s books but this one just didn’t click. I felt like we never really got to know the characters or their stories. It was all bam,bam, bam no trust no back story. Also the female leads lack of applying the same thinking of cutting off her own negative family member compared to how she told/did to the male leads made me feel like she was being a hypocrite. Hopefully the next book is better.

3. Furious - I don’t know how this lady does it but my hats off to her. Too have so many characters in your head waiting for their turn an knowing who to turn to must be hard. She never disappoints and with George and Wrigley (perfect name in this series can you tell I’m from Chicago). This angst filled romance might have had the best starting point but in between the beginning and ending is nothing short of fantastic. These stubborn and willful people are so close yet so apart that I ache for them. This book was so doggone good that I wish it didn’t end and neither will you. Thanks Lani for another homer so well with the wait!!!!

4. Hollywood Hero - Susan Stoker is back! imagine fireworks going off! One of my very favorite authors has come out with a new book, and it was a pure pleasure to read from start to finish. The only part I didn’t like...The End. Thank goodness I can always just go back to the beginning, because this book is about one of my absolute favorite Delta Force boys, Hollywood. We also learn his real name! Hellooo Graham Caverly! Our heroine requiring saving this time around is Kassie Anderson, and she meets Graham on a dating site. She really doesn’t know what he looks like because his picture hides his face. They get to know each other after Kassie messages him three times until her unique subject line hooks him. But Kassie doesn’t want to message him in the first place. She’s being forced by her ex-boyfriend and his friend has gone from verbal and physical threats against her to threatening to hurt her year-old sister. It leaves her no choice but to do his bidding. Hollywood takes her to an Army ball, and despite a rocky start due to some of Kassie’s demons, they have a great time. But Kassie can’t go through with the plan, so she tells Hollywood everything. Needless to say, he doesn’t take it well. But Kassie is in danger, and Hollywood and the guys come to her rescue, but can they keep her safe? I love Susan Stoker’s books anyway, but this one was just over-the-top wonderful! Hollywood was a bit of a jerk to Kassie at first, but he more than made up for it in true Delta style!

5. Great th book - I received an ARC of this book but would have purchased it even if I didn’t because I have read all the others in the series. :) I enjoyed this book. It was a good tie up of the Jacks storyline. I liked Kassie and even though she was in a tough situation she still came clean very quickly upon meeting Hollywood. She was tough even though she was scared for her family. It is helpful to read the other books in there series but not a must.

6. Everything is NOT as it seems... - This is the th book in Susan Stokers Delta Force Series. In this book, Kassie is coerced into "meeting" Hollywood, by the baddie Jacks and his lacky Dean. This is a typical Susan Stoker book, and you know where things are headed...until she zigs when you were forseeing a zag and BAM! Now anything is possible again. This is one of my more favorite stories in this series. You CANNOT go wrong with this book. And the ending...OMG!!! That's all I can say is...OMG!!! She also brings Dane "Fish" Monroe back for this story and you find out that his character is so much deeper than we originally thought. A GREAT STORY!!!!!

2. This one stands out from the rest! - All the books in this series are amazing but this one truly stands out because they were actually friends first. Even after she first started having problems, they still remained friends. This is Kason "Benny" Sawyer's and Jessyka Allen's story. It's a fantastic friends to lovers story. Benny is one-of-a-kind. He took care of her through all of her trauma and not once hinted or asked for more. He wanted it...badly, but was enough of a gentleman to know she needed a friend even more. Great sexy, steamy SEAL romance where he even made her physical handicap of uneven legs look sexy. I love these SEALs and I can't wait for the next one. 1. It’s no lie... This is a great book! - The Liar is a wonderful book from this mega popular author! In my opinion, it’s one Nora Roberts’ best! Yes, as one of the negative reviews said, I DID predict whether or not her husband was really dead, right from the beginning. Doesn’t mean I will reveal that in this review. Still, this is an exciting, suspenseful scary, unpredictable suspense tale that not only delivers a chilling conclusion, but also features a wonderful, realistic love story! If you’re a fan of Nora Roberts’ golden, perfect brand of romantic suspense, this book is to be treasured!

2. Good story, but.... - As a die hard Nora Roberts and J D Robb fan, I've read almost every one of her books (many more than once). While this story is a really good one in theory, it falls short of Roberts captivating storytelling style--so much so that I wondered, at times, if it was penned by a ghost writer. Being from the south myself, I appreciate that Roberts tried to evoke part of the culture of East Tennessee by including the colloquialisms and rhythms that are distinct to the region. Unfortunately Shelby's character too often came across as less than she was, due to her dialog. The characters of Griff and Violet were much more believable. The character development fell short in comparison to other NR books of this genre, as well. Even though I can easily say the was my least favorite Nora Roberts book, I still admire her as a storyteller. Everyone--even our favorite authors--gets off their game now and then. She bounced back and still has my loyalty as a fan!

3. Started good....... - A big fan of Nora Roberts and loved the sample which led me to buy the book but the book went on and on and the plot didn't seem to move. Found myself skipping paragraphs to see if the book would start moving. My favorite part was the funny texts. Makes me wonder if this is one of her first books that she rewrote. Doesn't seem like her normal caliber of books.

4. The Liar - I thought the book was ok .. I haven't read Nora Roberts in a long time and unfortunately I found this story to be predictable, I was hoping that she would add a better twist but it was not tobe. I loved the characters and the small town setting, especially the ladies in the salon. It was a good read nevertheless.

1. Not her best - I have read all of her books and loved them! This one fell flat and is lacking in her usual action, suspense, and even romance. It was rather boring and dull. I kept waiting for it to pick up and it never did. Some of the characters were hard to like. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend paying the $. to purchase. Hopefully her future books are up to par with her older ones & will end up being thrilling, action packed, & edge of your seat.
