1. Bittersweet Story - I’m grateful for this book. My father was an abusive alcoholic from the time I was eight years old until I was fifteen. My mother never divorced him and never had the slightest interest in other men. The only man in her life was my dad and she loved him through the horrible years. Thankfully my dad gave up alcohol cold turkey, about six months before my mother decided to let him move back in with us. Then my dad was truly never took a sip of alcohol again. My parents remained married for over years total, until my mother passed away twelve days after being diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. My dad was heartbroken. He came to live with my husband and me until he died in his sleep three years later. I know their relationship had a lasting impression on me. I never forgot the bad times. Yet in the end, he was a good father to me. This book spoke to me in a personal way. My life with them was bittersweet and it had a major impact on my life, as an only child. Life is full of mixed blessings. It’s how we handle all of them that ultimately matters. I’m much stronger than I once was. My life is finally as close to perfect as it can be. Thank you for reading my review of “It Ends With Us” and I wish you all the best!

2. Interesting… - I flew through this book, it had me hooked and I lobbed most of the characters… however I’m simply not a Hoover fan, I always hear about how good her books are, and although I like the Storys her writing style just isn’t my favorite. In the end I would still recommend this book to others, but it’s not in my top

3. I loved this. - When I say I don’t read books, I mean it. I’ve spent the last years of my life hating reading and hating books. This is the second book in two days of Colleen’s that I have finished. I’ve always felt so dumb and felt l wasn’t smart enough to read. That I was stupid because I couldn’t comprehend anything that I read. But this time it’s different. I feel relief. This book made me feel something I’ve never felt before and I started to cry in the middle of it. I was in the story and that has never happened to before. So I want to thank Colleen because this is a pivotal moment in my life. I finally can say I like reading and it’s because of her.

4. Had to buy a physical copy of this one! - Absolutely loved this book. I didn’t really know what I was getting into with this one. Figured it would be another run of the mill romance novel. This was my first Colleen Hoover book. I decided to start book buddy reading with my cousin for fun. We’re on our th Colleen Hoover book in a month! Colleen Hoover has something special. She can capture you and keep you under a spell that you never want to end. Shes realistic and deep. This is the one that made me fall in love with her writing. I laughed and cried. My heart was ripped out of my chest a time or two. It was a rollercoaster ride. I can’t believe there are negative reviews but to each their own and all that. For me, this was a wonderful read. One that will stay with me forever. One that I’ll probably read over and over. As soon as I finished it I ran not walked to buy a physical copy to live on my shelf forever and ever.

5. Lovely. - In the best ways possible this book took me through it. I felt all of the feelings and emotions reading this great book and to be honest I’ve only read books with about - pages so was a jump for me but not really cause I couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted to read more, I wanted a bigger glimpse of what was to come for atlas and Lilly. Great book, I bought it quite a while ago like back in September of and just finished reading it today feb, , . I read it on and off because some parts I just needed a break and didn’t want to see what happened next but I did it. I just bought it starts with us and couple days ago since I was nearing the end and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!! I’ve related to Lily in more ways then one, I’ve shared similar experiences between both lily and Atlas and shared these experiences with other also. Very relatable, brought up some old memories I got to think of. / would recommend!

6. First…AMAZING!! - I could not put the book down the moment I first started reading it. I learned so much from this book and there were so many times I could just relate to certain emotions and situations. Just everything about this story, was impeccable. I will highly recommend this book to everyone I know!

8. Meaningful Story - Reading this book from beginning to end definitely had meaning! Maybe some parts of the book were cheesy or some might say corny, but this is a book I would recommend to anyone who loves romance and real life events. I loved Lily’s character and all the other characters. There were some humorous parts, kinky parts, sad parts, and everything is pretty detailed. the story line was a bit basic, but good. Please read the epilogue of this book.

1. Too Sappy - I read the first book in this series and loved it so I bought the second one to see how the story ends. It was a little too sappy for me and nothing really exciting happens. Atlas seems just a little too perfect. I kept waiting for some intense, dramatic scene between Ryle and Atlas which starts to happen but then fizzles out.
2023-03-14
2. A good continuation - I liked being able to read about Lily and Atlas’ story, however I do feel like there’s zero plot and it’s definitely a lot slower than the first book, but honestly, I’m not sure if anything could top It Ends With Us. Easy read, and I still do recommend this book for anyone who read the first!
2023-02-17
3. What’s with the ending?? - I stuck with the book in anticipation of more roller coaster ups and downs from the first book. This book was so predictable and ended predictably. I also feel like there could’ve been so much information provided to tie loose ends. It leaves a lot of characters’ stories too open-ended.
2023-02-09
4. Teaches and entertains. - I could not put it down. This is an easy read, but only because of the way Ms Colleen Hoover captures your mind. She draws the readers in to feel all characters’ feelings and thoughts. You feel connected to them all and understand things you may not have before. Her ability to make you understand both of the main characters points of views is amazing. It’s hard to understand the evil character or why the main character would stay with a villain. I believe this is a real inside to victims of abuse. It helps readers understand the common hardships victims may deal with and that tug and pull that is hard to overcome when stuck in this situation. While creating sorrow for the victim is an easy thing an author can portray, she was also as to show us to feel for the villain as well, something I never thought to be possible regarding the situation the book surrounds. I was in aw over that piece alone. Read this book for the knowledge to understand and for the entertainment. This book skillfully crafted teaching the reader while also entertaining the reader. I was not able to put this down.

5. Real, relatable, inspiring. - SOOOO GOOD
As a victim of domestic abuse, Colleen Hoover really got it right. The uncertainty, the pain, the love, the fear. This book was an absolute emotional roller coaster that helps people to understand the trauma of not being able to leave the situation, and what happens after you do.
2023-01-28
6. So sweet! - I loved the sweet twist on this one! The happy ending is everything I didn’t know I needed. I was hesitant because it ends with us had an ending. But to pick up a new beginning and start over almost felt wrong, but It was SO good. There are some grammatical errors and some sentences I had to reread to understand because of word misplacement but that was easy for my brain to fix. Still a GREAT book!

7. Another couldn’t stop reading - Go read it ends with us and then this book so it all flows. This book gave the perfect ending. I cried. I had tears rolling down my face. I couldn’t stop reading it. I was always wondering what’s going to happen. I felt I was inside the book series. It needs to become a movie. Read the books. You won’t be disappointed.

4. Such a strong loving story - It’s time for another amazing romance book alert. Melissa has a new book out and you know how much I love her books. So of course I’m gonna share it with you! It’s called Then came love and it follows Jax and Jordan’s story. Jax and Jordan story is a love finds you at the most inopportune moments type of story. Jordan ,a sweet woman who lost her family, is engaged and meets with Jax a brilliant famous wedding dress designer to design her dress. This should be a normal wedding thing to do but when sparks fly Jordan is left wondering what is wrong with her. Can she be friends and work with Jax to get her dress made or should she steer clear and buy a generic off the rack dress? Jordan is not alone in these sparks; Jax felt them too and hasn’t gotten her off his mind since but she’s marrying someone else. Can he show her how love is meant to be? I definitely recommend this book. As usual I was hooked from the first chapter. They are so emotionally tied together it makes me smile. I had tears of joy and sadness in the last chapter. I was sad the book ended so fast and I loved the story but wanted more. I want proposal, and more on Sully. I honestly can’t believe I got a year to wait to read Sully’s story but Melissa definitely reeled me in and left me longing for more in a good way. Her books are definitely addictive so head over and get your copy of this book today. You will be happy you did

5. Jax Jordan - Every Melissa Foster story is unique and dives a little deeper into what is or isn’t perceived as socially acceptable. This story has a very different beginning, but still leads to a happily ever after. Jax falls for Jordan the first time they meet. Unfortunately she is a client and is asking him to design her wedding gown. Jordan is keeping her heart safe and is staying with someone who has always been there for her, until she learns more about him. The signs of hope are all around us. Jax helps Jordan reach for her dreams and surrounds her with hope and signs of hope daily. Thank you, Melissa Foster, for the touching story of hope and love.

6. Wow. Just wow. - I have been waiting for Jax’s story. And this book more than delivered! Jordan and he were meant to be together, but there was Todd. Todd who I despised before even “meeting” him because he tried to dim Jordan for his own gains. Jax wanted to help her light shine, and it made me love him even more! Such a great book!

7. Jax is swoon-worthy - How can anyone not love Jax Braden? He's in love with Jordan, but she is with someone else. And he would never interfere in someone's relationship. He is so swoon-worthy. Goodness. Doing all of the "groom" tasks for the wedding without telling her that her fiance is a douche. Just spending as much time with her as he can. Is it wrong of him? Probably. But she needs a friend and that is exactly what he is being. I'll be honest and say I was not impressed with Jordan. She was being taken advantage of and used by her fiance. I felt like she allowed him the freedom to do that and made excuses for him. It frustrated me from a woman's perspective. I pride myself on women being intuitive and sensing when something is not right. A few notes - I loved those old ladies where Jordan works. They are a freaking hoot. I loved the "we're old, not dead" mentality. Good for them for being who they are. And Jilly is going to get hers and soon I hope. Goodness, she needs a man.
2022-05-19
8. Full of emotions - Jax and Jordan really are the perfect match. Too bad she’s engaged to someone else…and he’s designing her wedding gown. I mean, can this happen anywhere other than between the pages of a romance novel?
I spent much of the book wondering if Jax was an eternal optimist or if he was delusional. Jordan was set on marrying old what’s his name. Even with the sparks flying between her and Jax, she still held onto her plan to marry a man we didn’t love or was even compatible with. While I loved their chemistry, banter and budding friendship, I wondered if Jax specifically would get his heart broken. I honestly wasn’t that worried about Jordan. Harsh, but true.
While there’s no physical “cheating”, there was still feelings that were allowed to run between these two. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical. But I shouldn’t have been, because the tough stuff wasn’t swept under the rug and ignored. The author handled it in a thoughtful and honest way. Which made me love the characters and the storyline even more. Shame on me for even entertaining a moment of doubt. And kudos to Melissa Foster for yet another complex and loving book.

9. Finding the perfect love - Jordan and Jax meet for him to design her gown. Through the process of him designing the gown, they form a bond and spend time talking. While they know they shouldn’t be spending time together, Jax still turns on the charm! I loved that she finds she doesn’t need to settle. And that they find their way to each other! Definitely a must read!
2022-05-18
10. Loyalty and Support Above All Else - I love the strong, confident, and caring nature of Jax. He is confident in himself, knows what he wants, and isn’t afraid of a little hard work to get to his goals. Jordan reminds me of myself. Wanting to make everyone happy and forgetting that sometimes, you need to put yourself first. I love her tenacity and determination. I love that she never gave up on what she knew in her core to be true and that she was able to prove to the world that she was deserving of all the happiness. The relationship between Jax and Jordan was perfectly written. I love that they support each other and that they both know they can rely on each other. I thought this book was beautifully written. Every character brought meaning to the book and every relationship was truly there for a purpose. Fingers crossed for a spin-off for Jordan’s sister

12. Amazing! Loved Jax and Jordan! - Melissa Foster totally left me wanting more of these characters. This might be one of her best books yet. Jax and Jordan are amazing. Their coming together is respectful and thrilling. Melissa Foster writes with heart, hilarity, and passion. Her characters make me feel as if they are real people as I am transported into their world. Jordan has had to deal with so many challenges in her life. The additional trauma that Jordan experienced with her family had me on edge and in tears. What a wonderfully written star read. Looking forward to more.

1. Racist themes - man supports the Confederacy - Honestly, everyone shrugging off when an old white man supports the Confederacy and talks to the young boy about Robert Lee, is just wrong and unnecessary. Can’t he just not like the outsider because he is from a city and not because he was not from the North? Furthermore, the cop not realizing the systemic flawed racist system that creates those ‘bad kids’ in the ‘hood’ is similarly outdated and needs to be changed. I loved the writing and the story line but it really needs to be updated or changed. This book supports racist stereotypes and ideas within society.

2. Family Dynamics - A fun read I enjoyed getting to know the characters an all their quirks. Add love, mystery an family conflicts the story evolved with each page. 1. I wish I could reread for the first time - Everything about this book is just so sweet and so well written. The way Beyah believed in Samson and you could tell from the beginning he was hurt but meant well. She believed in and he saw the absolute best in her. They needed each other and found their way to be together after everything. Such a great happy ending for two people who deserved it the most.

2. Great book! - Colleen Hoover never disappoints. This book was refreshing! I’ve read so many mediocre books lately I was beginning to think I’d lost my passion for reading. Nope! Just reading the wrong books. I’m so glad I’m reminded of good authors and good books! This one is a must read. I read it in a day and a half!

3. Fell in love with Beyah and Samson - Such an endearing heartfelt and harrowing coming of age story about a girl who had the odds of life stacked against her. Her mother was an addict, she was a lonely hungry angry and neglected little girl exposed to gross abuse neglect and the dark souls of addiction. When her mother dies, she contacts her father whom she’s estranged from. She moved into his house and falls in love with a local boy from the beach town. But as much as he’s good and caring to her, he is holding dark secrets of his own. When they unexpectedly catch up to him Beyah is left alone to suffer through heartache and has finally admitted that her mother is dead to her dad after living with him for the months she was in his home over the summer. The end of her story and the beginning of Samsons is so heartwarming and heavy I cried happy tears and was thrilled these two kids had finally found some good in life and it’s circumstances

1. That Connor - Oh, Connor. I totally dug this divorced doctor, single dad, older brother, that is Connor Daniels. He's got his S together, oh, not in the dating thing, he's got a and up rule, as he's forty. I love the age-appropriate bent though its mitigated by his crush on Violet Robinson, the ten year younger nurse he works with. Violet is awesome at her job but clumsy in real life and had a mad crush on Connor. Sweet, steamy, fun, real and engaging. Recommend.

1. Just a Little Hookup : by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde - This is a fantastic book about Derek and Jessica , these two have had a thing for each other for years due to Derek being best friends and business partners with Jessica’s brother . After she bids on him at a charity auction, things get very interesting and they finally come together.A must read .

2. Sizzling - Absolutely fantastic read, loved the characters and all the steamy moments. I loved Jessica’s attitude and self confidence of who she is in every sense of her being. I enjoyed Derek supporting nature and how they were able to open up to each other. Great new series and can’t wait for more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3. Fun and frisky - Jessica and Derek star in this first of the Dare Crossover series and as a fan of everything Dare from Carly Phillips, I am uber excited! Plus, she and Erika Wilde writing together just upstage hotness factor by %.
Brother’s best friend is one of my very favorite tropes, so I’m always all in for those stories. But the added fun of a bachelor auction plus a curvy heroine with body positivity from both herself and the hero, and we’ve got fun and frankness in between the pages of this book.
Derek and Jessica had fiery chemistry but also a friendship and ease in the way they interacted. Well, besides Jessica’s still raging crush on brother Ben’s friend. So their slightly “taboo” secret hookup is emotional as well as sexy.
Couldn’t put this one down!

4. A wonderful start to a new series! - A wonderful start to a new series! I. So in love with this crossover and getting a story for Derek Bettencourt is just the tip of the cake. Swoon worthy, sweet, entertaining this new release was all that and more. Jessica’s character was a delightful and when Derek sees her in a new light, talk about steamy chemistry. I enjoyed the storyline and characters that are so likable and relatable add the steamy romance made for a swoon worthy storyha did not disappoint. I can’t wait for more!

5. Just a Little Hookup - ARC for honest review with no compensation Received from BookSprout Just a Little Hookup is book in the Dare Crossover series by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. Now we see some of the secondary characters come to life! Up first is Derek Bettencourt and Jessica Cavanaugh, winner of Derek at the bachelor auction to raise funds for the charity. She outbids his ex fiancé and seeks her revenge for something he did in her past…but what starts as friends turns into so much more… Forbidden fling, hidden feelings, sexy times, banter, curvy girl, insecurities and maybe a chance for a HEA…only time will tell.

6. Entertaining! - Another entertaining read by Ms Phillips and Ms Wilde. This was a great addition to the Dare family via Nikki’s brother, Derek. I liked that Jessica wasn’t your typical wimpy female. She had confidence in herself, even though it was a long time coming. I did like that Jessica’s brother and Derek’s business partner didn’t have the typical “stay away from sister” approach. If you have enjoyed the authors’ other books, you’ll enjoy this one.

7. Carly & Erika-Yes please! - This is a wonderful story that is a brisk and easy read because it pulls you in right away. The characters have reasonable history and have their own parallel lives until they cross gently but believably. Their history becomes their present and the story is sealed. Being a PCOS warrior, as well as a curvy girl, I like seeing girls like me get the guy instead of just being the best friend who settles for the town nerd. I love reading books that have relevant characters from previous book series or even just previous standalone. I feel more connected to the characters and more invested in the success of their lives and their loves. The sex scenes are sensual without being raunchy and they don't happen every other page or so-just enough to keep you coming back for more-kind of like real life! I was eager to read an ARC for this book for two reasons-Erika Wilde and Carly Phillips!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

8. Delightful - This was a delightful novella which really stretched body positivity and that women of all sizes can be beautiful. It is the brothers best friend/forced proximity/billionaire tropes. I really enjoyed reading this short book, a collaboration between Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. I find they always write well together and this is another example. Both main characters have chapters written from their POV and I found both characters to be multidimensional personalities. The chemistry was hot and the book was an easy read. I would read it again. I am voluntarily submitting this review after reading an advanced complementary copy.

1. Best of - Ik we just started but this is definitely one that I could go back a reread any time or one that I could go back and read parts that always caught my eye. ) Enemies to Lovers will forever be one of my favorite tropes and this is the definition of enemies to lovers )Nathan raised my standard, he's the greenest of green flags and I loved Stas for using communication and teaching Nathan to use it. It really helped when there was conflict between the two.

2. Awesome!! - All I can say was this book was purely amazing!! It was such a wind down, yet exciting book to read all in one. I could read it before sleeping, or in the middle of a party, and I would never get bored. The only thing I have to complain about this book is how fast it went, now I’m a slow burn romance fan, so this wasn’t exactly up my ally. If you’re into fast romance and straight to the point novels, this is the one for you guys!! I felt like I got thrown into everything though, no matter how much I was enjoying it.

1. Off the beaten path. - It was a hard book to read. Very bitter sweet ending, but that relationships for you, there not always so easy. You gotta work through the hard parts, push forward when your ready to give in, loose hope, but gain it. This book helped refocus and remind me things don’t have to be so perfect, and it’s the imperfections that matter the most. Thank you for such a great book.

2. The longest relationships take both people not giving up on each other at the same time - Yet another book where CoHo had me crying like a baby at the end. I love how she started this book with a unique twist of how the characters met. She continues to build on that story through a series of back and forth “then” flashbacks detailing the history of their love story, to a “now” present-day storyline of how their relationship is falling apart. I love these characters together, but sometimes life circumstances can get in the way. As I read through the “now” stories, I found myself getting more upset with Quinn and felt she was self-sabotaging her relationship. Yes, she was going through something painful and yes, she was trying to make a decision that would make her husband happy, but she was jeopardizing that love. I think we can all say at times that we can get in our heads and think we are doing what’s right, when essentially it may be hurting our relationships. Truly honest communication between people, even lovers, is the hardest thing people can do. We hold back bc we don’t want to hurt others. We hold back bc we are hurting ourselves and aren’t in a place to verbalize. By the end of chapter , I was so mad at Quinn and wanted to throw the book across the room…how can you open the box when you know you feel the opposite way!?! With the box open, you discover Graham’s side of things. His letters had me in tears. But, you realize he too was doing the same, withholding his words/feelings, so he wouldn’t hurt his wife further. However, what he wasn’t able to verbalize in person, he was able to in written words. Words and feelings that should have been shared sooner, by both people, that would potentially have saved them heartache. The story does have a happy ending. There were three great reminders from this story that I walked away with… -Communication, honest and loving communication, is key. -Relationships are hard and imperfect, long-standing relationships take both people not giving up on each other at the same time. -Sometimes the storyline or ending you create or envision in your head for your relationship isn’t the only way to be happy together. Loved this book!

3. The epilogue!! - I love everything Colleen Hoover. This book was a little slower for me, I was so desperate to find out what was happening “now”, that I found myself wanting to skip over the “then” sections. But the epilogue just made it all perfect! If you have read her earlier books you will love the tie in. I can’t believe I didn’t think of it earlier.
2023-01-05
4. Another good one by CH - Unlike some of her other books, this was a quick and easy read. Hard to put down (like all of her books) but less intricate than some of her others. A good dose of reality when it comes to what it’s like to struggle with infertility as a couple which I was happy to learn about. Also, a good look at loving someone else for who they are and what it can bring you through. Definitely suggest this one!
2022-12-16
5. WORTH THE READ! - I love the storyline of this book. Going back and forth from “then” to “now” each chapter can sometimes become a bit confusing and hard to follow. The way the story lined up so perfectly and the correlations between the “then” and ”now” were so seamless made this book such a quick read. As someone who is struggling with infertility I think Colleen did a perfect job describing the emotions a man and woman endure in their marriage while battling infertility. She showcased the love and patience that each partner needs to have beautifully. Will recommend this book to all of my friends! Sad that I got though it so fast. Was a beautiful story.
2022-11-14
6. This is my story too, and it’s so well told - I have never before so completely identified with a character in a novel. Though different in many ways, my husband and I too have struggled through nearly years of infertility and so many of the feelings Colleen addresses in this of so very real (the pain of answer the question - when are you having kids? - at length at social functions!). I spent so much of this book going ‘me too’ or ‘us too’. I am so glad this is out there and hope more ‘childless not by choice’ people find this story and feel a bit less alone.

7. All of the Perfects! - I’m not much of a reader anymore, but I could not put this book down. Incredibly relatable for married people experiencing infertility issues! Just when I thought the book couldn’t get any better, right at the end, there was a small Easter egg in the story you wouldn’t notice had you not already read “Finding Cinderella”, which happens to be the story/book that turned me on to this author. /, phenomenal book!

8. Ugly cried for the last pages - I started reading this in the beginning of august, it’s now the first of september. It started out a little slow in the beginning but it was the right pacing for this kind of book. i read the last pages in one night because come on. it was too good. i love colleen hoover books so much because she has a way of captivating her audience by developing characters with so much depth and so much realness. One of my all time favorite colleen hoover books and i would one thousand percent recommend this to everyone. one more thing. because she is able to add so much depth to her characters you are able to empathize so deeply with them and the reality is, they are not just characters. i felt the same way with it ends with us too. there are so many women who face these struggles and i’m only so being exposed to this raw emotion i think is so vital to empathizing with humans. i know that replicating a character’s struggles like these can never be replicated in a movie or show in the same way a book can but not just any book though can do this. a colleen hoover book definitely can and it does every time.

1. Such a blast!! - Oh my gosh, this had me cracking up from the very beginning. Callie & Dash are such a fun, laugh out loud couple that you can’t help but giggle throughout. Dash is charming and sexy, dare I say dashing, just completely irresistible. Callie is witty and stubborn and a perfect match to him. And their chemistry is perfection. This was a blast and definitely a must read!!

2. Another Rom-Com Hit! - As with all of Lila Monroe’s books, this one is packed with witty dialogue, chemistry-perfect couple, and a smidge of redemption. Dash and Callie are the most wonderful “fake couple” : she helps him with his grandmother and trust fund while he helps her with her make-up line to get it off the ground. Not only do we have confident and cocky male lead, but also strong independent women that are relatable. Pick up this must read!

3. Hilarious fun - Another fun, fake relationship book in the Billionaire Bachelors series. Phineas Henry Dashford IV, aka Dash, is about to be cut off from his trust fund because his grandmother Zelda thinks he needs to settle down. Of course, he lies to his grandmother and says he is in a serious relationship, so he needs a fake girlfriend who won’t catch “feeling.” Dash meets Callie Delgado causing a viral moment in the subway. Callie is a budding makeup mogul, who wants to start her own makeup line. She agrees to Dash’s scheme if he will back up her new venture. Overall a delightful story with great characters. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my unbiased opinion.

4. Dash and Callie - This is part of a series but I have not read the previous books. This book stood alone very well but I loved it so much that I am excited about the future books coming out. This is a fake romance trope book between two people who are very different. But the the differences really make this book a fun and interesting romance. In this story we meet Dash and he is prince charming so much so that the person that he loves the most next to his sister, his grandmother doesn't see that while he might leading a dashing, reckless and fun life he also is a serious business man. His grandmother tells him he is cut off if he doesn't find someone to get serious about. Thats where he comes up with a plan to fake date a woman he met on the subway, Callie. Callie is a sweetheart but she might have big dreams but she has no clue on how to make it happen. Dash is a sweetheart too and I loved how he was with Callie. This story had some really fun scenes that made me cheer and giggle and swoon. I loved Dash's sister she was a lot of fun and I loved her scenes with Callie. This was a really awesome, feel good romance that centered on Calie making her dreams come true and Dash was awesome as the guy to help make that happen for her. I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

1. Emotional second chance story - This one had me reaching for the tissues! Cole and Eden’s long journey back to each other was filled with emotions, from sadness to anger, hope to despair. The pain of the past is mostly just discussed, with a few flash back conversations. It’d be easy to find fault with the way they handled things, but grief and guilt are hard as adults…for teens, it’s worse. But seven years removed from events in their senior year, Eden is still haunted by the past and has pulled away from everything and everyone she loves. Cole has learned to move past that time, mostly for his son and career, but also never truly moved on. Their story is a slow burn, but I appreciated the time and care that Stacey Lynn took to build their now so they’d have a future…and forgive the past. I loved both of them, and Cole’s son Jasper was sweet and funny. Marley was full of wisdom and love, just what Eden needed the most.
Already I’m loving this series and can’t wait to read the next book!

2. Swoon! - Get ready to Swoon harder than you’ve ever swooned before. This is a book that makes you feel from the moment you start reading until the very end, a book you can’t wait to get into and a book that once you’re in, you’re trapped, you’ll never want to get out. Full of forgiveness, grief, life, death, angst, heat, heart, emotions, passion and swoon. I LOVED reading this small town, second chance romance story! It’s been seven, hard years since Eden has been in Marysville Tennessee, seven years, since she had sworn never to return. But when Marley Bickerstaff, an elderly neighbor/ grandma asks her to return home so she can see her one last time, she honors her request and returns to take care of her until she passes. But Marley has another reason to want Eden to return and that is for Cole. Cole Buchanan is the small town hero who is now a NFL Quarterback for the Nashville Steel Football team. He has a five year old son named Jasper that helped him turn his life around after a tragedy that left him and Eden broken. But Jasper’s mother Selma has her own agenda as well and Eden isn’t in it. But Cole is the boy that Eden loved and the boy who was never hers to love, never hers to have, but they hadn’t cared until that fateful night. Is that magnetic force there still between them? Will love and forgiveness guide them back to each other? You will definitely want to read this to get all the yummy details. Filled with page after page of heart pumping drama and an emotional journey that left this reader mesmerized by the the pure beauty of this masterpiece. Stacey Lynn has just given me the best feeling in the world. You know the one… that little zip of excitement when you find a new author, and they’ve got the magical “thing” that makes you want to devour their back list… It’s epic right? Believe me you will not want to put this woman’s stuff down. Blending smart, sexy romance with heart racing, fist pumping, emotionally heartwarming and heartbreaking, wide grin on your face great read. I can’t wait to read more in this series!! I voluntarily requested an early copy and this is my honest review.

1. Cliche Love Story But I’m Here For It - I’m a sucker for a love story so my standards are low. But the cliche bad boy and mob intertwining, I read it in one sitting. Like others pointed out, the dialogue between characters is a bit unclear at points, who is talking and how they know this info is fuzzy. It’s a good read overall and I plan to keep going with the series. Question though, why are they always showering? I mean people shower I get that, but the amount of scenes with a shower in it is a bit excessive.

2. Pretty Good - So I read the reviews for this book and I was expecting some crazy story of a guy that wouldn’t let his girl out of his sight. Well, it wasn’t all that crazy. I mean yea Travis is protective and clingy, but he also leaves her alone when she asks him too. Another thing Abby pushes his buttons for sure! I mean going out to dinner with another guy when ur in a relationship and the guy isn’t an old friend it’s someone interested in her. Ugh anyway I liked the book it reminded me of After with less sex detail. Oh and the guy fights . If you like bad boys and drama this is the book for you!!

3. Loved it!! - I absolutely loved this book. There were only a couple of editing issues and the story line was clear for the most part. There were a couple of places where someone said something but I wasn’t sure how they knew the information. I loved the characters. The connections between the characters were explained and evident from the reading!

4. A favourite - Travis Maddox is a knight in shining armour but in a bad boy way you’ll end up loving. Jamie catches you in a really nice way and makes you introduce yourself in the story so much that you’ll end up crying, laughing, loving and hating.
This has been one of my favourite books from the very beginning, I loved everything about this book.

5. Read this review! - I have the urge to say that, while I’m aware everyone is entitled to their own opinions, most reviews on this book/series confuse me. Before I read them, I skimmed through the reviews on here and most of them were surprisingly negative. Talking about typos and it not being a worthy story and what not, but I disagree. Travis and Abby’s (Pigeon) story is pretty awesome and it felt like I never knew what was going to happen next. The author keeps the reader on their toes, throwing in events that are completely unexpected and at times heart breaking. The author also knows how to throw in good humor, which is a plus/good balance to all the times you feel like crying while reading. The character development was unique in my opinion and the farther you get into the book, you will find that the author does this for a reason. You find out the type of guy Travis is and only a little surface info on Abby, the rest revealing later - which is expected - but who she really is kind of caught me off guard! The author’s writing was good throughout the books as well, even the minor mistakes of misspellings you see other reviews talking about. (I think I saw maybe ?) Definitely recommend, I was on the fence at first but I am so glad I read them anyway.

6. Regret - I read this book years ago in high-school and gave it another try. I’m happy I’ve matured cause these characters certainly never would. Travis is immature, volatile, and a douche. Abby is lack luster, immature as well and vapid. None of these characters experience any sort of arc, they stay static throughout the entire book. Why yours anyone think this type of relationship is ok?
2019-09-07
7. LOVE! - I’ve bought this book before and I wanted to read it again but wasn’t sure about paying for it again until I read all of the nasty reviews. I love this entire series and I’m happy to spend money enjoying these books. Even if it means repeatedly. Keep writing Jamie! You and you’re books are amazing! Thank you so so so much!

8. I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW AMAZING THIS BOOK IS - I AM A HUGE BOOKWORM THAT HAS READ QUITE THE ARRAY OF BOOKS AND THIS ON IS IN THE TOP THREE ITS AMAZING AND WONDERFULLY WRITTING. EACH PARAGRAPH IS WRITTEN FLUIDLY SENDING YOU STRAIGHT TO THE NEXT ONE. I HAVE READ THIS MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT AND EACH TIME IT GETS BETTER AMD I GET MORE INVOLVED WITH THE CHARACTERS READ IT. LEARN IT. LOVE IT.

9. everything you’ve been looking for !!! - I’m not typically one to gush over a book in the comments but this book changed that for me. From the beginning, when Abby met Travis I knew I was in for a ride. The depth of their friendship even before their relationship was envious. I fell in love with the characters. When Travis wouldn’t even go after Abby simply because she didn’t want him to, I fell even harder. Every reader can see feel the chemistry between them in every flip of the page. Both characters have incredible baggage they are carrying with them and the way that their different personalities cater to one another is astounding. I love how Abby is so much more rebellious than she lets on in the beginning. Also, how Travis is such a sweetheart compared to how rough and brutish he seems in the beginning. The gritty realism is captivating and shows you that there’s more than just simple love in the world. Every second makes you learn more about them and fall deeper in love with them and their love. The ups and downs are entrancing and sometimes you want to scream at the characters for not seeing whats right in front of them. That’s not a feeling you get very often during reading. It’s not your typical good girl loves bad guy story. There’s something about them that makes you love them from the very beginning. Jamie McGuire outdid herself with this novel. The story was amazing and the ending brought me to tears of joy. I couldn’t put it down from the very first chapter. I’ve already purchased the next book in the series and I expect that’s where the majority of my free time will go for the next couple of days. I recommend this to anyone looking for anything!

10. Awful - I read this book in middle school and I am reading it again years later out of boredom. Reading to now, I realize how awful this book is. The main girl is annoying and the love interest, Travis, is controlling and almost mentally abusive towards her but the book makes it out to be “love”. This book is teaching young women that having a man manipulate you and control your life is love when it is not. Not only is this worshipped relationship toxic, but also insanely annoying. The plot is exactly the same that whole time; they want to be together but don't want mess up their massively abusive "friendship". Don't waste your money

11. One of my all time favorite books! - I read this book about years ago now and just realized I'd never written a review! Although I know my review could never do this book the justice it deserves, I'm going to write it anyways. This book is the one that got my Jamie addiction started! Beautiful Disaster is one of my all time favorite books and I reread it multiple times a year. It's the one book I never get tired of reading. Between the "good girl", Abby, and the "bad boy", Travis Maddox, it was hard not to fall in love with them. Abby and Travis seem like an unlikely pair but as the book continues you can see that they are a beautiful disaster just like the title says. Abby is attempting to get away from her past and when she meets Travis she runs right into everything she wanted to get away from. Throughout the book Abby tries to fight off Travis every chance she gets but she learns just how difficult it is to get rid of him, because "when a Maddox boy falls in love he loves forever." This book has something for everyone. It has romance and drama and even a little suspense. If you haven't read this book yet you are missing out!

12. Don't bother - I honestly thought I was going to read a warning about abusive/ toxic relationships at the end of this book something along the lines of "if you know someone in a bad relationship who needs help." Like I was fully expecting the author to include it because I didn't think there was any way someone wrote this and thought it was a healthy relationship they were displaying. Inexperience with dating aside, Travis is exactly the type of boyfriend parents warn their daughters about. He's controlling, jealous, and violent. And Abby is by all definitions an enabler of his behavior, talking herself into staying with him and overlooking the numerous warning signs. They're extremely co-dependent and volatile with each other. Not healthy whatsoever. And their friends don't do anything but encourage them to keep it up. Abby and Travis themselves even acknowledge they're a disaster together so why is the author romanticizing that? Seriously, this book should come with the hotline number to abusive relationship counseling.

1. So many issues - I’m not going to get into the inconsistency in the timeline, those seem to have been addressed by prior comments. I will however get onto character issues. Never in my life have I hated a character more than I hate Olivia (and I read about a book a day, which also proves a point that it’s taken me weeks to finish this series) not once during the entire series did I root for Olivia, not once did I want her to get the man and the happy life. I was hoping I would like her more after some time passed but the longer this goes on the more I regret even spending the $ it cost to read this nonsense. Olivia is a b plain and simple. Leo needs better, she deserves to live in her car. And I won’t be reading another novel by this author again. If all her characters are like this I’m not going to waste my time or money on it. As an author myself I can say without a doubt I learned something from this series, what not to do

2. I don’t like Olivia - I missed spelled her name on my first review. But I don’t like her Attitude and she has Anger Issues. This writer is very confusing, first Olivia is an only child then she has a sister that she want to call then she don’t have a sister....uuugghhh. Then Leo hires Samatha to replace Olivia, then as you get in the middle of the story she said that she had to go help Rebecca in the Accounting Office. So the writer forgot who she first said was replacing Olivia.....uuuggghhhh. I really don’t like this story at all. Who in their right mind would take in a stranger and plus let them work in the company. And how she going to get mad at him when she won’t tell him anything.
2021-10-07
3. Sloppy storytelling - The timeline was way off from the days and events that occurred. Again, as I said in my review of book two, the story had errors. In book two, the woman they hired as head of accounting was named Samantha. In book three, her name was Rebecca. Her physical description was also different. Lastly, it was annoying that Leo kept referring to Olivia as “girl”. She was years old. I will not be reading this author ever again.

1. Funny, hot and great characters! - . STARS Weston and Abbi are such extremely likable characters. Their banter, inner monologues and conversations made me smile, laugh and feel ridiculously happy.
The story was like a soft, warm, fuzzy blanket for my emotions. This authors stories are like comfort food for my mind and soul.
I had no problem feeling for the characters. It was so easy to like them, respect them and root for them.
The wit and banter is great! The writing is extremely clever.
It really was such a fun read!
Not over the top, the perfect balance of funny and also emotional.
The characters are multi dimensional, they are facing realistic issues in life. They both have complicated family dynamics, it’s what brought them together initially. They see each other’s struggles/complications, and I think it bonds them in a way, makes them really care about each other early on.
I love the mix of tropes in this book. It’s fake dating, then friends, then friends with benefits.. hopefully more for that happily ever after ;)
These two had incredible chemistry! I loved their interactions so much! The tension and build up
was great. They are very sexy and HOT when they get together!
They are fun, good people. And that’s not code for nice and boring at all! They are so entertaining, I just love them so much!
The secondary characters are great additions and I loved them all as well.
The Vermont flavor is always fun in this series and authors books.
The sports/hockey aspect is there. It doesn’t take front and center of the story. It’s an incredibly fun, entertaining and touching college romance.
I absolutely loved it!

2. A feel good read that will make you smile ear to ear! - Do yourself a big favor and one click this great read by Author Sarina Bowen. I love, love, love Author Sarina Bowen’s writing. I just finished reading Boyfriend and I have an ear to ear smile on my face. I feel happy and fulfilled after reading the latest book from one of my favorite authors. Abbi and Weston are so much fun to read!

3. Fan - I'm really obsessed with all things Sarina Bowen and The World of True North has been nothing short of amazing. Somehow I missed all of the Moo U books though which is an absolute travesty because these characters are AWESOME!! Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke killed it as Abby and Weston. This audio is all the things: funny, emotional, swoony, and engaging. I definitely wanted to abandon all responsibilities and just listen straight through. I'm definitely going to be searching for a book for Weston's brother, Stevie, and adding all the Moo U series to my TBR!!!
2021-10-12
4. LOVED! - Moo U Hockey is a college hockey romance series in the World of True North, created by Sarina Bowen. Each novel can be read as a standalone, however the series will feature some of the same characters that you will come to know and love. If you loved reading this book, I would also recommend reading Sarina Bowen’s True North books and the other True North series (Vino & Veritas; Busy Bean Cafe; Speakeasy Taproom; and the rest of the Moo U books). In Boyfriend by Sarina Bowen, it is a well known fact at Moo U that Weston doesn’t do relationships. Abbi knows this, as she’s watched Weston from a safe distance whenever the hockey team frequents Abbi’s workplace for wings & beer. When she spots Weston sticking a “I’ll Be Your Thanksgiving Fake Boyfriend” ad on the bulletin board, she jumps at the opportunity to finally hang with her crush, even if isn’t real. But their fake relationship is much more complicated and real than either can imagine. Sarina does it again! She has such a knack for writing realistic characters who are lovable, yet flawed. Sarina’s stories are beautiful reads about characters who can grow and love over the span of these pages. I can relate to Abbi with her guarded emotions and keeping everyone at a distance because of her life circumstances. And Weston makes an amazing hero: hot, fun, and blissfully unaware of his romantic impact until Abbi. A great story about how love heals in so many different ways. I highly recommend this book! I have received an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) from the author in exchange for an honest review.

1. I don’t like Oliver - Oliver has Anger Issues, I don’t like her. How can see get mad at Leo for trying to find out about her after he asked her over and over about herself and she refused to tell him anything. And he is stupid for letting a stranger move in and work for his company and he knows nothing about her. I don’t like the way this writer tell stories.
2021-10-07
2. Dragged on - This book was just filler and pretty boring. As I stated in my review of the first book in the series, there are story errors. The name of Olivia’s home town changed from book one to book two. In book one, Olivia bought a blue dress for the charity event from Linda during the first shopping, along with an entire wardrobe. Later Olivia bought a red dress for the charity event as if she hadn’t already bought a dress, and bought another dress for a dinner as if she hadn’t bought any others. My biggest complaint in both books is all the drinking and driving. That is not okay. The author blew it because instead of reinforcing the image of smart, responsible professionals, driving drunk just makes Leo and Olivia seem stupid, irresponsible, and dangerous.

1. Intrigued!! - Book two starts where it left off in the previous book. You will want to read that one before you read this one. The big question after reading the previous book was will she or won't she? Well, you will have to read this to find out. What got added is, it seems things aren't exactly as Tyler thought. Something is going on and it seems his father is still messing with his life even after death. I'm very curious about a few things that were hinted at in this book and of course, once again, we have a cliffhanger.

2. Passion & Suspense! - Sweet Sinner Full of suspense, intrigue drama, tension, heat and passion this story definitely turns up the tension between Bella and Tyler. As these two try to figure out their true feelings toward one another, the will is still causing major concerns and problems between them. But when they finally start to work together to find loopholes in the will, there seems to be someone working against Tyler to change everything. Be forewarned this series must be read in order. Loved it! Received an early copy and this is my honest review.

3. Sweet Sinner became satisfying! - Nothing was simple between Tyler and Bella, and that’s what kept me reading. Bella frustrated me in this book, and I can’t say why without spoiling. I loved Dash’s brotherly love for Bella; he was the voice of reason for Bella along with her father. I did feel like Tyler and Bella’s conversations went in circles until a certain point, then I smiled when I reached that satisfying turning point. I appreciated Tyler’s journey through these books. FYI, the author announced at the beginning of this book that this is now a trilogy, instead of a duet, so this book has a cliffhanger. I eagerly await the conclusion to Tyler and Bella’s story! I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

1. Wondering - I would’ve given this book stars because it was very easy reading pulled right in, wanting to know what was next but none of the relationships were fleshed out with their story complete I get disappointed when I have to buy four books to read one books worth of story just me read the book you’ll enjoy it
2022-07-06
2. Pacing issues - I thought this moved really slow in some spots and then the moments when the heroine finally gave into her feelings felt silly, or not what the work up was for. I want to love the series, but I won’t be getting the next one. I was rooting for the main characters, but there wasn’t enough happy pay off to keep me going into a second books. I’m going to bow out.

3. Just okay… - First time reading a book by this author. It was a easy read but very “hallmark” like. The protective hot single dad - who doesn’t like that. I wasn’t a fan of bouncing around from character to character with each new chapter. The book is also drawn out, most of it seems to take place over week. Not sure if I’ll continue reading when the rest of the series comes out. Just okay, didn’t hate it but also didn’t love it.

4. The Inn on Harmony Island - This was book sucked me right in and I was sad to have it end. I’m already looking forward to the second book!
One of my favorite parts is the budding friendship between Shelby and Abigail, I can’t wait to see how they are able to help each other heal from their pasts.

1. I will never recover… - The journey from Dare to Losers Part , was something I was unexpectedly not ready to comprehend. The character development of Jess was enlightening, the metamorphosis of her character as well as realizing her sexuality and taking pride in it was emotional and captivating. Manson, one of the greatest male protagonist I’ve ever read in a book, continued to take my breath away, his exploration from a tough, strong and resilient man, to a vulnerable and emotional human being was an emotional rollercoaster for me. Vincent, whose character was extremely likeable from the beginning, made me feel safe, as though someone who would give anyone the world, and more, a man whose confidence relied within himself, but from also taking care of those he loved most, his love language for cooking and words affirmation I couldn’t get over, not to mention, his long hair and tattoos make me want to step into the book. Jason, a sweet blue haired boy with intense eyes, a geek within a heart of gold, and colorful personality reminded me of people from my past, beautiful people both inside and out, he showed a passionate devotion to Jess, even though she had hurt him, he never allowed her to think of herself unworthy of love, Jason Roth, I wish I could marry you and your perfect soul palate of colors. Lucas, my dark and demented krytonite, I’ve always had a thing for the so called damaged boys, and Lucas ignited my liking in an unforgettable way, intense, intimidating, yet the bane to my existence, his sweet side for Jess and his boys, his mean attitude to anyone that disrespects him or anyone he loves, and his body full of dark tattoos has his camouflage to the world, I never imagined falling for a character. I will never recover from this book…

2. Amazing follow up to the Dare! - I really loved this book. If you enjoyed the novella, The Dare, then you will enjoy this follow up to it. It retains the same vibes and level of spice of it but Losers dives deeper into the characters. Normally when reading a book where characters have multiple love interests I have trouble liking them all or at least not playing favorites. I assumed going into this that Manson would be my favorite but after reading this, I really loved everyone of them each in their own way. Even though all of the boys have a lot of similarities due to interests, they are very unique from each other and have their own struggles, something that can get lost with this many characters. Jessica was also amazing. I just adore them all. I can’t lie, I’m bitter they are all fake because I would happily be with them all. I really like the little moments in this book. Losers is very heavily smut oriented but there were just quite a few sweet parts, domestic moments, and just adorable interactions between the characters that it balanced it all out. I enjoyed how much they loved each other. The polyamorous aspect of this seemed well done. They guys weren’t together for the sake of the smut but because it made sense for the story and their characters. I appreciated that aspect a lot and it was good bisexual representation. Another part I enjoyed was the character development. Even though Jessica can be terrible, I got where she was coming from with her logic and so it made it easier to love her even before she became better. I am curious to see where she goes in the second half. I definitely need a little more depth from everyone but it’s hard to fairly judge that without part but it is heading in a direction that will allow for more complexity of the characters. There is a lot of potential for a lot more in part that I can’t wait to see. They all have their own struggles and mental blocks they need to get past. I like that they aren’t expecting anyone in this relationship to be perfect. They are all messy and need to work on things but are learning that they can lean on each other when needed in a very healthy way. Overall, I’d recommend this one for anyone who enjoys very spicy books. It does not hold back and the content warnings on the first page should tell you what you are in for (hint: it’s a wild ride). But I enjoyed the balance of it with interesting characters. It is more character driven than plot driven but that works for me. I think the characters will continue to stick with me for a long time. I hate that I’m a fast reader because my brain is having a hard time leaving this word and I need more. I’m so thankful it isn’t a long wait for Losers part because I need more Jessica, Manson, Lucas, Vincent and Jason in my life.

3. Warm, Fuzzy, Sexy, Daring - I am in awe of her writing style, the way she details everything, the emotion she captures with every single character. I feel so close to them all and I just feel so many things I can’t even put into words. This series is AMAZING and I can’t wait for more. It feels so right while I’m reading this book. Like I’m not just trying to get through it, and I’m not feeling put off by any aspect. It’s so real and unconforming (not a word but you get it). I already loved her work and now this tops it all for me. Can’t wait to read more- TAKE ALL MY MONEY!!

4. Mind blowing - This book blew my mind. I read the Dare and it was a short book but full of so much I couldn’t wait to learn more about the guys. Manson, Lucas, Jason and Vincent. This book blew everything out of the water my emotions are all over the place still. Back stories came out of the guys and some broke my heart one made me happy. Each story had my feelings all over the place. Jess own back story was something not everything we perceive is as it seems.
I can’t wait for part because I know what I want to happen and I hope it does. Bravo to this amazing author who created a world and characters that are so human but it also makes you think more about how we treat people and where people come from and what is lurking behind your neighbors door too. The steamy scenes are hot hot hot!!!

5. Fascinating and exciting read! - Hands down one of my most anticipated reads for and let’s just say Harley Laroux didn’t disappoint!!! This book was everything I hoped it would be I love this group of losers I’m obsessed with them their story is sexy exciting and so freaking hot but it’s so much more we get insight into each character and what their feeling and thinking my heart aches for these broken boys and Jess well it takes a special woman to handle these bad broken boys and I think she’s absolutely perfect for them I absolutely loved her character and even her character growth from the Dare was amazing to see and witness I will be anxiously waiting for part and I can’t recommend this book enough! Check your trigger warnings because this book won’t be for everyone but I personally loved it!

6. Emotional and Exhilarating…Best Read of - I am here to say this book is my top read. Harley Laroux was able to capture the essence of The Dare that we all loved and spin this story into even further depths. The intense insight we are given into each character with an extreme focus on each of our clown boys really changes everything you assumed about them. My dark heart, beautiful, broken boys. There's not one I could possibly choose over the other, but I can tell you who I identify the most with. Lucas Bent. If you go into this story just looking for smut and kink, you're missing the bigger picture. There are all those things but the pain and longing felt is visceral. I'm excited to see where Losers Part takes us.

1. A fun ending for our favorite hockey men! - This was such a fun way to wrap up the series. A little predictable in some areas, but much like the other books, I still found myself laughing out loud I’ve the recent shenanigans our favorite hockey couples were getting into. This is a must-read for any Off Campus fans. You won’t be disappointed and will send off these characters with everything tied up in a big pretty bow.

2. AMAZINGGGGG - I LOVE these books. I will read one of these books in single night, staying up until am. I love the sexiness & the backgrounds. I read some reviews saying they hated it but if you love the spicy part & drama, this whole series is for you. that being said, my biggest turnoff towards the series is the repetitive words. for example, every time a story is being told.... they will say "I take the latter of the choices". i've never heard this term in real life, so to read different stories and see it used over and over again kind of sets me away. regardless, I love the way all of these stories tie together. I definitely recommend these books before you're going to bed with your partner to spice things up. Loveeeee.

3. Overall great book! - I thought it was a great follow up to the other books. I love the characters and as expected loved Garrett’s and Hannah’s story. I thought the whole doll thing was unnecessary and would have liked more of a story for Tucker and Sabrina (maybe more focus on their wedding). Overall I love the characters and how they make me laugh. Recommend book.

4. Bad - Seriously one of the worst books I’ve ever read. I was so excited to read this and wait months for it to come out and couldn’t be more disappointed. We were teased with an elopement, proposal, wedding, and pregnancy and barely got any of it. It was nothing but dumb drama and a doll that was just a waste of pages. Again, I couldn’t have been more disappointed. Don’t buy it

5. Perfect conclusion to the first wave of off campus characters - Elle captured all their characters exactly how they were in their original, stand-alone books with an addition of maturity and commitment that you’d expect years after. All of their reactions make sense and even when they overreact it’s still understandable and they deal with it as best as could be expected. I loved seeing how they all grew and stayed together. I finished this book in less than a day and I want more - rereading the original quartet as we speak. A little spoiler The only novella I felt could have been better was tucker and sabrina’s, instead of a honeymoon section focusing on them it could have been their actual wedding so we’d get to experience their happiest day with them.

6. Keep it going - Review: ./ Steam: / Audio: ./ thelegacy by @ellekennedy is offcampus I have been waiting for this book since it was announced. I have missed this group! Felt like I was back seeing a group of friends. I’m still a huge John Logan fan. But I have to say I loved everyone. The way that it was broken up, but still intertwined was great. I’m so glad I got to read this and see where this group of friends ended up. I laughed at many points in the book and felt like it was so great to to see how their lives are still a little crazy. I feel like im always going to wish there was more. Now I want to know the spin-off of the briar u groups. Totally worth a read for anyone who loved the off campus series.

1. Take a chance. - I never write reviews. But this book…. Whoo. Despite the less than favorable reviews, I loved this book. I’ve read all of the books in both series, and I honestly don’t think I’ve cried or laughed at a book this much in years. I loved the development of the characters. They’re so easy to relate to and fall in love with.

2. Least Favorite in this Series - Honestly, I just didn’t like Sabrina. I tried. But despite how much Tucker loves her, I don’t feel like much was really shown of her that was likable. We already knew she was smart and driven. You see more of her life and background, which are definitely hard and you have sympathy for her, but so much of her continues to just fight against Tuck and him wanting her in a way that felt old very quickly. I do like his character. I struggled to like her or even buy that she has this big heart he talks about. I didn’t see that in her. Wanting to better your life and be successful isn’t what I think of as a big heart thing, and when he said that, I was literally trying to remember what in the book gave us that indication for her and could not remember anything. It just was a lot of pages trying to force their relationship when it didn’t feel as believable as the other books in this series, or try to make us think she’s warm and loving, when there is so much actually pointing against that.

3. Better than the other reviews suggest - I’m not even done with this book and I can’t help myself. I was nervous starting this book because the reviews were scathing. I loved the prior books but this is by far my favorite. I’ve laughed, cried, and picked my jaw up off of the floor. I never write reviews but I seriously just had to. I got through the others pretty quickly but this I just tore through. /. Seriously.

4. Just Ok - I loved this series but this one was my least favorite. I wasn’t very keen to Sabrina because of the pervious book, The Score. It was also the most boring story of the . The timeline was also off as it took place during the exact same time as The Score. I may be biased though because The Score was my favorite of the series !

5. Not my fave in the series - I got bored with this book because Sabrina’s commitment issues just went on forever. The book goes on and on. And that I hated Tucker’s mom as much as I hated Ray is probably not what the author intended, but she is not at all sympathetic. I do absolutely love Tucker, and I loved Sabrina until about / of the way through the book because she just wasn’t good to this amazing guy.

6. Not sure how I feel… - I love Tuck and Sabrina and Jamie but sometimes the story felt never ending because we’re dealing with the same problem the whole time. Sabrina keeps Tuck at an arms length throughout most of the story and that’s the whole plot; her opening up to him fully and coming to terms with her love. I like their relationship at it’s end point but sometimes the story felt very stuck and repetitive, very well written though

7. Better than some of the reviews :) - I enjoyed this a lot. It wasnt as heavy emotionally as i was expecting after reading other reviews. My main point of contention is Tuckers mom lol. Tucker never stuck up for Sabrina and Sabrina’s last words to his mom were good but needed to be so much more. The girl is a new mom and prob postpartum, we needed more fireworks.

8. Great addition to the series - I really enjoyed this book. It wasn’t my top favorite, but it still held on as a competitor. I’ve heard that this book isn’t everyone’s jam, so I wonder if being a parent myself is part of that. I loved that this story had real life situations and two leads strong enough to work through them. I always get so crazy when two characters know that they love each other but can’t tell the other person. It’s just unnecessary drama in my head, which is probably why I took a star (but that’s just a personal thing for me). This book was written well with compelling characters. I’d definitely recommend jumping into this book if you enjoy the other Off Campus books before this one.

9. Could have lived without reading this book - I wanted to read the story of every hockey boy from the team.. until Tucker’s turn. I read because it gives you an alternate reality of what’s going on in the world, it allows you to escape from the real problems and sadly this wasn’t the story for me. It was so filled with real problems that rather than enjoy it, it felt the problems were mine. Tucker’s mom is a disrespectful being and Tucker itself didn’t stand up for Sabrina even knowing his mother was wrong. I finished because to me books are commitments and I don’t like to leave them unfinished. That way I can give a good, honest review. The only reason I rate this book three stars is because it very well written and the story is a good one, just not my type.

10. Lovely, but a little tiring - This book was lovely. Tucker is the biggest sweet heart out of all the boys!! But Sabrina is so frustrating with her inability to communicate with him.. ugh. I find myself getting bored over the same internal dialogue. But I enjoyed the fast pacing of the book tho. Overall, I like it.

11. The Goal - I was nervous to read this because everyone said it wasn’t as good as the others. I was so shocked with how much i love this book. It is my absolute favorite out of all of them, possibly tied with The Deal. Tucker is the sweetest most laid back guy and his patience with Sabrina is amazing. I loved that we got to see how Sabrina’s home life is and why she is so driven to become successful and scared of loving Tucker. Seriously loved this book so much, Elle Kennedy is probably my favorite author after reading these books.

12. A little bummed, but still awesome. - I have been in love with Elle Kennedy’s books for a hot minute now. She has a superb voice and writing style that is realistic and refreshing. I don’t find myself cringing at overused words or cheesy lines. Her plots are authentic, funny, and romantic. But the angst and lack of communication in this plot was so boring and unrealistic. The timeline just kept moving and nothing was achieved. I felt underwhelmed by the end of this book, even though is started off as the best one in the series in my opinion.

13. The Goal - Loved it. Some scenes really had me cracking up. Shed some tears. Sabrina is super stubborn, but it made her a great character. Absolutely love Tucker. It’s impossible not to. You almost are rooting for him to push Sabrina a little, and wonder why he doesn’t. He just knows her that well. Loved how a lot of the characters from the other books were involved. You kind of get an idea of where they are at after reading their books. Really love Fitzy, but that’s another review for another book.

1. A great second chance romance - Always the One for Me by Carrie Ann Ryan is book in The Wilder Brothers Series. This was a wonderful and beautifully written second chance romance. Second-chance is often a harder read for me but I loved how CAR wrote this one and we had just enough of the past to keep me intrigued and wanting to know their present story. Kendall and Evan had a whirlwind romance years ago but now find themselves divorced yet still fighting their love and attraction. Both characters had emotional wounds and situations they were working through, and I loved when Evan came around enough to really communicate with Kendall. I also really adore the relationship between the Wilder brothers and how they support and are there for one another. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are fantastic narrators and they really bring out the emotions of Evan and Kendall throughout the story.

2. Love and danger - Evan and Kendall have history. And now they’re working together. With history and unresolved feelings and hidden love between them (but don’t let the other know). Theirs is a story of history, secrets, pain, and of course, love. Lots of it. All they need to do is work their way through it and back to each other. There is also danger around, so this definitely keeps you guessing. Look forward to the next one

3. Second chances - This story was an emotional rollercoaster, i laughed cried and yelled. Evan and Kendall broke my heart. They are so good together yet could not figure out how to talk to each other. They were able to communicate with their bodies but words appear to fail them both. Once Evan made a decision that he needed to open up then the words flowed so much easier. Kendall wants to do everything on her own that she almost missed the opportunity to be part of something great. She was already a Wilder, she just needed to believe. So good!!! Don't miss this story.

4. Evan and Kendall find their HEA. - Evan and Kendall had a history that Evan and Kendall had a history that was once love at first sight, but their love wasn’t enough and it ended in heartbreak. Fast forward to the present and the Wilder brothers need her to be able to continue their success in a new venture but will their past cause a stir or will their passion once again ignite to a deserving HEA? One click to find out in this newest addition that doesn’t disappoint. I love the sizzle and sass that brings Evan and Kendall to a second chance at forever with all the drama and heat level that brings their story to life.

5. So emotionally charged - What a journey Evan and Kendall took to find there way back to each other. Their story was so emotional with ups and downs that made the story so entertaining to read. I’ve enjoyed the Wilder brothers series and I think I’m going to like the next book the best. I have a soft spot for Everett. Until next time y’all happy reading.

6. Touching, emotional rollercoaster story! - Second in the Wilder Brothers series, this is Evan and Kendall’s story. Evan walked away from Kendall after only two years into their marriage. He thinks he’s protecting her. She feels shattered and broken. It will be another eight years before she sees him again. When Kendall takes a job as lead chef at the Wilder Resort and Winery, it is only a matter of time before she crosses paths with Evan. Both he and she have changed and, while the attraction is still there, so is the unresolved pain. Can they find a way to be something more without hurting one another? Can Evan talk to her about why he thought leaving her was in her best interest? And more importantly, can he open up to how the past still haunts him? Is Kendall willing to try again with Evan? Can she trust him again with her heart? This is a touching, emotional rollercoaster of a story that will keep you engaged until the end!

7. Evan and Kendall will break your heart and put it back together again - PTSD, brain trauma from concussions, lost limbs these afflictions and more affect our veterans. Not only them though it also affects their families especially the wives. Kendall would have liked to stand with Evan but he didn’t give her the chance. This tale is filled with so many emotions. I was brought to tears by their stubbornness then tickled by Evan’s unexpected romantic quips. Kendall is a strong personality. She’s tried to get over Evan and has, mostly, she thinks. Besides their personal struggle an outside force keeps attacking the resort keeping them off balance. Can their smoking chemistry overcome the guilt and anger? Their HEA is hard fought and heartfelt.

8. Broody meets beauty - Evan & Kendall’s story has been building for two books now and we finally find out what happened all those years ago!
Evan is broody and yummy. Kendall has a wonderful kind spirit. These two souls clash and it is instant chemistry. Such a good book & make sure to grab the bonus epilogue

9. Kendall and Evan - We finally find out the reason behind Evan and Kendall’s divorce, and it honestly wasn’t what I expected. In fact, I think it made me sadder than the ideas I already had floating around in my head.
No, I’m not revealing what the issues were…but I think the more important part of the story is how these two broken-hearted former lovers try to rebuild their lives. Evan needs to push past his guilt and anger while Kendall must find forgiveness and understanding for them both. There are a lot of tears but ultimately love conquers all. While most of this book is about our main couple, there’s more going on in regards to other family members and those nasty Dodge men. Another brother embarks on a relationship, and we see glimpses of him and his lady…but it’s yet another Wilder brother who’s story is told in the next book. I’m loving these brothers and cannot wait to watch the rest of them fall in love!
