1. Extreme imprecision and over simplification - This translation is what I might recommend to those less educated or capable of grasping the ideas from the more involved translations. Aurelius himself (within the first few pages) talks of the pride he takes in being precise with his words. To me, the extreme simplification in translation is contrary to his sentiments on language and the use of it. Be more ambitious, and get as close to the original text as possible, for falling short of this is a great disservice to yourself. If it is too sophisticated for you to read the other translations, try harder.

1. A serenity prayer - The passive symbolisms of bondage and freedom are what made this novel unfavorable to me but devourable all the same You will find that the short lived spotlight that was shown on the critical moments of despair in the beginning stages of a disadvantaged young man’s life is to be appreciated. I disliked the Mismanagement and misallocation of Resources stemming from a barren and dysfunctional Americanized system for a young man’s life who had far more hope and tenacity than the manner in which he viewed himself or those in which he placed his hope in. I was extremely disappointed in how his personal instances of loss, separation, abuse, and growing pains were sugar coated. Although there was a weight centered on what was remaining in his familial moments of reunion, we see that his self will is enough to lead him on his path from dependency, and hopelessness to self-reclamation. The Expendable redefined courage. I especially liked the emphasis on how actions speak louder than words”, and the undisputed symbolism at a pivotal moment. The main character makes a statement at this crucial time: DONT SHOOT that …. iT HAS my wings! He in a sense becomes the proverbial messenger in place of all the others who came before him. It’s shocking how he was able to make out this desperate plea after his own “wings” or ability and those who he cared for or were supposed to care for him or enabled him were nowhere to be seen in that commanding sense. His actions demonstrate that he was more than a conqueror in his ability to show good will and leadership towards others around him despite all of the Ill will he had experienced throughout his short life. And that was about the only portion that I liked.

1. lovely book of life, living and hope - just read it to my yr old, who said, “my friend has this book, and the mole likes cake and the horse can fly” and we read it as a family and learned a dear friend has cancer, and tomorrow I will read it to a leadership team of hundreds of hospice leaders… perhaps they will have cake! Thank You!

2. Gentle and Meaningful - My dad gave me this book when I was and I never got to reading it until a few years ago. I love this book, and i hold it close to my heart. This book is very meaningful, and is written in a way that feels very gentle. It has depth, but is portrayed through simple and delicate illustrations with smudges and twirls. This book changed my outlook on life, and I always will be grateful for my father’s gift to me. I recommend this book for all ages, for anyone really. It’s such a sweet and impactful book for anyone and sheds light of things we may have felt alone in feeling. I love this book, and i bring my hardcover everywhere i go. I love reading it to kids and even my friends sometimes, and they all always love it. The pictures are incredibly sweet to, and the illustrator is obviously very talented, and of course the writer who creates a philosophical and yet so simple book for all ages that warms hearts. I want to be lowered into my coffin with this book in my hands to be honest, and i love it dearly.

3. The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse - Absolutely beautiful and heartwarming. I received the book from my friend after I suffered a horrible loss. There isn’t much anyone can say to make you feel better in these moments. This book and its story were so touching it brought tears to my eyes. It said all that could not be said.

4. Perfect gift... love it!!!! - First... this book is beautiful. Second... a touching timeless story that everyone will enjoy. I gave this book to my son for his rd birthday. In the book I wrote quotes and thoughts, wonderful portions of the story reminded me of his childhood. This is a great book to give to a child during these unusual times. It can become a familiar place for them to come draw, write, ponder their thoughts. This story will make you think as a parent and as a child about fear, friendship, inspiration, happiness, gratitude and love. Even for myself, many of the lessons were perfect for a time when we are quarantined and living through uncertainty. It is my new gift for future parents. DM

5. Beautiful - This book truly connects with people of all ages. I grabbed it at the bookstore and my year old son said his teacher introduced him to it and there was a most beautiful page in there at nighttime and they’re all flying together. I opened it up and within minutes was tearing up. Beautiful.

1. Well done. Thought provoking. - The personal recount of the journey is a very interesting and a powerful adventure of the spirit and the mind. I also purchased this ebook after first reading this book years ago. I yearned to reread this. I felt a profound empathy and relearned again of the many aspects of life. The intertwined thoughts and rationale made me think deeply again. Through the years I have thought of this book and never forgot the suggestion of how to best travel - I won’t give it away. I caution you to not read the very lengthy reviews by a couple of persons (July and December ) since they do a disservice of giving the ending away and not having the courtesy of indicating a “spoiler alert”. This lack of etiquette is poorly missing in those reviews. I hope this remark will make your reading that much more enjoyable by avoiding those reviews.

3. Read this again for the first time. - I attempted this gem of a book back in the 's when I was in my 's. I had no sense of real identity or purpose. I went through the actions to impress my girlfriend, got bogged down, and never finished. Thankfully, I resisted any temptation to read ahead to see what happens. I'm now in my early 's, have succeeded at fatherhood (my son Alex is now , adequately happy and both financially and spiritually successful no thanks to me), and failed miserably at marriage. Somehow I am still married to Alex's mom and have come to a new understanding about what in life is of lasting importance. It took a year struggle with alcoholism, anger, fear and resentment to arrive at a place I can only think of as heaven on Earth. Enter ZATAOMM. So many things are moving me to tears these days and this enlightened journey across the Northwest on motorcycle with son in tow was no exception. A brilliant read. Just when you think you might lose your mind navigating through the web of metaphysical, spiritual, philosophical enlightenment, the author draws you back to the well crafted descriptions of his travels across the Dakotas, Montana, and to the Pacific coastline so you can breathe again. Back and forth, up and down, side to side this work takes you in so many directions and forces so many emotional reactions that run the gamut. It truly is a work for all time. gl

4. A Fascinating Read--Several, Actually - I just reread Robert Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (ZMM), forty years after the first time in college. It's a different book seen through the eyes of a -year-old man, particularly one who was a philosophy major, Methodist seminary graduate, licensed family therapist, and who practices Zen meditation. For me, ZMM was several books. Like many contemporary novels that constantly shift from scene to scene to keep our attention, ZMM shifts constantly—multiple times in most chapters—between a philosophical story and a psychological, interpersonal one. Much of its power derives from the fact that ZMM is based on Pirsig's own life. Others have well-summarized the “plot”, so I won't reiterate that. ) ZMM is a philosophical novel. Pirsig was an English professor and teacher of Rhetoric, a blend of writing, persuasion and philosophical argument. The book recalls Pirsig's multi-year search to define Quality. Heavy on the Greek philosophers, Pirsig presents argument after argument, originating in a variety of settings, through a series of daily chautauquas, over the course of his motorcycle road trip with his young son in 's America. Pirsig is quite good at the metaphor/smilie game, relating many of his arguments to how one keeps a motorcycle running. The “Zen” part of the book is that the Quality Pirsig seeks to define is less a matter of “either-or” (rational vs romantic thinking) and more like something else, represented by Plato's Forms (eidos), or the Buddha's thinking. As a former philosophy major and a Zen meditator, this is familiar territory to me. My difficulty with ZMM was that Pirsig is a lot smarter than I and often left me in the dust of his arguments. Like a lot of brilliant people, he is also arrogant and convinced that his views are correct and nearly all others, stupid. Another reviewer of the book noted that non-philosophers are often awed by Pirsig's reasoning, while those who know a bit about philosophy are less so. Nonetheless, the philosophical part of this novel was a fun ride. ) ZMM is also a psychological journey. Early on it become clear that Pirsig was quite obsessive. One of my Old Testament professors remarked that “Fundamentalism is less a theological position than a psychological problem.” Pirsig often exhibited something like fundamentalist zeal. As I read ZMM, I wondered if Pirsig's dogmatic certainties weren't as much a function of his psychological issues—his compulsive nature—as anything else. Over the course of the book, Pirsig related how his thinking became clearly obsessive , occupying his mind , , hours per day, until he could no longer sleep. Pirsig crashes and burns, is diagnosed a paranoid schizophrenic, is hospitalized several years and receives shock treatments. He is open about all this, and about the damage it does to his relationships, particularly with his own son, Chris, his companion on this journey. A recurrent theme is Pirsig's fear that Chris' psychological makeup parallel's his own. A fascinating aspect of all this is the psychological distance that forms between the narrator Pirsig and his former self, whom he calls Phaedrus (also the name of a Platonic dialog). After hospitalization and treatment, Pirsig has forgotten a lot about Phaedrus, and the psychological track of ZMM recounts the slow recovery of Pirsig's memories about Phaedrus' earlier decline. As I followed Pirsig's no-holes-barred recounting of this decline, I often had the sense I was watching a slow-motion psychological and interpersonal train wreck. ZMM is a difficult read, but an excellent one. Chris, whom I had grown to love in the book, was murdered some years after the book's publication, and ZMM's Afterword contains an interesting glimpse of how Pirsig's mind and psyche continued to evolve after ZMM was published.

5. Great book - I have read this book twice, the last time years ago, and wanted to make it my first iPad (electronic) read. But the price is prohibitive. I will just dust off the paperback and read it for the rd time. I will look for another classic which is priced to sell. This is a worthwhile read though.

6. Don't Forget It's Sequel - Zen was good. It helped us understand the world in a different way than before. But don't forget the sequel to this book. It was also written by Pirsig. A lot of people say it doesn't live up to ZAMM, but I actually like it more. The book is: Lila: An Inquiry Into Morals And for those that don't know, Chris is dead. Stabbed to death by an unknown person in San Francisco. I didn't personally know him, but I felt like I did thru ZAMM, and was stunned when I learned of this.

7. Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance - Read this book years ago & enjoyed it. Now having read it again I realised back then I didn't understand half of it and now enjoyed it much more. It's a story of madness and disconnection, sanity and love woven in and out to make an intriguing picture to be seen from quite different perspectives.

8. Very good but what's up with the years? - The book is excellent and a decimate must buy but the other guy wrote that it had been years since he read it last and I hate to be contradictory but I was under the impression it was fairly new... Like three years or so.. but at any rate I'm sure it will still be a classic years from now so thank you for the early review random person!

1. Excellent ook - I am from Mexico City. My beloved mother had died months ago.
One day a was in Facebook and someone had uploaded a you tube video with an interview from Oprah s program to Thich nhat about dead and this book. It was not the whole interview but only the part I really needed at that exact time.
That video helped me so much, gave me so much happiness and peace, suddenly a very odd thing in my city happened. it began to hail and rain with the biggest balls of ice I had never seen before. It was magical, I felt my mother there just beside me trying to tell me.... "Darling darling don't you see I am here??? "..... It was her th month anniversary exactly. Something so strange and beautiful. So I went to I tunes store and bought this book. It has been a blessing. Thank you .
There's is so many paragraphs that seems to have been written just for me as for example the one that you say " don't want anything to do with your father... What a declaration you are your father and your father is you."
Also the peace and joy that reading gives me to know that my beloved and worship mother is around and now is only manifesting differently.... And now is only a matter of time.
i am a catholic but this book has no religion, is universal and great for any religion. The book is great.
Thank you and sorry for my broken English hopefully who read this will understand the context of my words....
Hopefully some day I will be able to go to a retreat with this incredible .
Read it if you lost someone, read it if you are sick or have any fear, it will make you good

1. A Peephole Into Another World - Few could describe such an experience so vividly as Huxley. Some imagery and mental connections will stick with me forever like the following: suggesting mysticism and religion to be byproducts of induced states of consciousness - whether through peyote or wine; his views on how some people can be tapped into these other states more often than others (such as the best artists); and his reflection on schizophrenics who live in constant dread to overexposure to what would otherwise be heaven. Also, to make connections between deep seated beauty biases (such as gems), artwork, and religious, induced states suggests an analytical mind always trying to sort chaos into a recognizable schema. I also like how he doesn’t refute religion simply because it may be from these supposedly induced states. All in all, a great read for people looking for an exotic perspective.

1. Days of Future Past - William MacAskill is quickly becoming one of my favorite contemporary Philosophers for his pragmatic and formulaic approach to applying philosophy to modern problems. He reminds me a lot of Carl Sagan in his approach to expounding on the big picture and man’s place in it. Which is why it’s disappointing that some professional philosophers miss his effort for want of completing a perfect theory. A consistent thread of nihilistic philosophy that is rooted dominates the current journals and books. The authors operating in fear of the horror of misapplied philosophies in the hands of flawed men. In contrast, MacAskill builds on some of the ideas of the brave and fresh philosophy from his book, “Doing Good Better.” Exploring the coupling of the foundational values of “do no harm” and “leave things better than you found them” with how we can best impact future outcomes while avoiding values lock in. More specifically, how these first principles applied at a macro scale impact all of humanity present and future. The lived experiences of future people is at the heart of MacAskill’s effort and consistent from beginning to end. Robert Greene detailed the concept of “Plan all the way to the end” in his book “The Laws of Power.” The concepts and frameworks that MacAskill covers in this one reflect that approach a lot. Moreover, he shows how society’s natural propensity for moral inconsistency means we cannot rely on waiting for the moral arc of history to bend towards justice. These frameworks are often the target of derision by other philosophers because they may oversimplify the problem. For me they are what set his brand of philosophy apart. Making it accessible and actionable to everyone not buried in Academia.

2. Waste of money and time but E for effort - I was very unfamiliar with the aspects of dating and the reality of some things in life when I bought this book in . But even then I couldn’t sit to read this book because his analysis of personal experiences and ideology gained from them, for lack of better terms, made me cringe. But now being able to catch up socially with most of my generations society I’ve gained a background insight of who Derrick Jaxon really is. His accusations of the modern day (black) man seem to resonate with most (black) women in today’s dating world. I just can’t find the motive as to why the accusations are being made and why they only seemed so one sided. I can only believe that in very extreme, rare cases do some of the things he mentions occur to women but consequently it’s generalized to all men as well as leaving women unaccountable for any actions regarding to self causing most women to lead onto a downward slope emotionally when dealing with men and I can’t support that if I’m anywhere close to being correct.

3. The Confirmation I Needed - This book was everything and more. I stumbled across Derrick Jaxn on YouTube one night and immersed myself in all of his videos over the course of a week. His perspective on every topic aligned with my view of relationships, men, women, self-love, etc. It was a relief because I never actually knew there could be a man who could or would actually take the time to look deeply into not only relationships, but also with self, so that it’ll be easier to call BS when it’s presented and you can easily walk the other way. All the steps he took to learn about and love himself were the same ones I took, although the catalyst for his was losing the love of his life, while mine was losing my Grandmother. I recommend this book to anyone who is in search of ways to love, be confident, or reminded that you are worth it. This book is not for those who are looking for the “easy way”. There is no sugarcoating and if you aren’t ready and willing to face the reality of what caused you to make this purchase, you’ve wasted your time... but at least the money went towards a project filled with raw life experiences that taught unforgettable lessons. Thank you, Derrick. I’m looking forward to reading your other works and will hopefully have a partner to play your board games with.

6. Amazing - This man never ceases to amaze me. Advice and encouragement coming from a man who isn’t afraid to admit he’s done wrong but has learned and grown from it and has truly figured out what self love and self worth is all about as well as giving amazing insight on what a man is really thinking lol. I will always recommend all of his books.

7. Best book ever!!!! - This book was absolutely amazing and life changing honestly. It has given me the guidance I’ve tried to seek for so long, from many peers around me, who themselves are lost. I am twenty years young but I want to implement all of these amazing life lessons into myself so that I am the best version of myself. I know for a fact that I am on the right path to progression and change. Signs and synchronicities led me directly to this book, and only one day later I am finished and feeling as though a switch had been flipped and I’ve been granted a new chapter. “Forward movement, and self progression “from here on out!!!

8. Don’t Forget Your Crown :By Dereck Jaxon - As an educator, I’ve read tons of books, most, books I had to read not necessarily wanted to read . This book was one of those books I wanted to read and I’m so glad that I did . I’ve had many challenges throughout my life especially in relationships , most not proud of. I picked up this book after accidentally bumping into Team Jaxon’s video when searching for answers through Tarot readings . I became inspired by the videos but intrigued by the title of this book and I knew it had to be a “must summer read” . It was one of those books I couldn’t put down . I read at home , on the train , on my way to the store , on the beach , even when I was on the phone with my guy friend who fits the description of some of Mr.Jaxon’s topics . I shared some insight with my friend and it made him ponder about the things I was sharing , yup , he really needs to read this book. I recommend this book to all those in , out or ready to start a relationship . The very first question they can ask themselves before going into a relationship I’ve learned after reading this book is ‘Are you Prepared, emotionally, physically , and psychologically for a relationship ? Operative word “Prepared”. Read this book and find out for yourself . Best of luck in all your endeavors Mr. Jaxon , you have given me a new platform to explore before jumping in a new and healthy relationship . God Bless You ! Oh wait I forgot to mention That I referred to you as my Boo Boo Bear in my mind as I read and shared your insight on Self -Love with my friend . It was a private joke in my mind , he didn’t get it but I knew where that was coming from

9. Don’t Forget Your Crown... Review - My sister recommended this book to me about two years ago and I just now read it. But I wish I would have read the book when she first told me because now every relationship I been in has made sense to me now... And now I know how to recognize patterns and situations from a different point of view and see them for what it is... I recommend all women in the dating game to read this book first and it will help you in Life...

10. Wow. - When I purchased this book I thought I was somehow going to walk away with the cheat code to understanding men. What I got was so much more valuable, a message about prioritizing self. The tone wasn’t preachy, condemning, or disingenuous which is quite refreshing. It’s an easy read and a quick read. I finished it in about hours. I’m so glad it lived up to the hype!

11. Couldn’t put the book down! - I purchased this book per a recommendation from a close friend & I am so glad I did! It had so many great little nuggets all from a genuine, relatable & personal perspective! I appreciated learning more about this gentleman as I usually catch his videos on Instagram here & there. Definitely will be recommending to others now

12. Highly Recommended! - This book is extremely helpful with guiding the reader as to what should be tolerated and how to react if boundaries are pushed and lined crossed in a relationship. Very refreshing to hear the male perspective providing advice as well. With that in mind (and all due respect), Mr. Jaxn’s wife is one lucky lady as clearly her man gets it!

13. Great book - I loved the break down of chapters and the truth it held in my life. Thank you for the helpful insights and for keeping it real! That was the best part, it wasn’t full of proper terms and gibberish, I could completely understand everything you were saying. Great job. I’ve recommended it to all my friends already!

14. Don't Forget Your Crown - I love this book. No words can express my gratitude for having read these words. It's so nice to read how someone who loves unconventionally and untraditionally puts it into words so lovely with fun analogies. I am also not so conventional when it comes to love but I've never been able to express it this clearly. This is just beautiful BEAUTIFUL work that will change how we love for the better. Derrick Jaxn, I salute you.

15. Get Ready to Crown Yourself - I have been recommending this book to many people before I even finished it and I can happily say that I am glad I did. This book touches on so many thought provoking topics that I unfortunately did not have knowledge of or guidance on growing up. In reading this work, I have found that many buried feelings I have surfaced and I now see the work I need to do with myself before I can build with someone else. Definitely a must read for millennials and/or anyone exploring their next love life move. Bravo Mr. Jaxn!

16. Amazing!!! - I am not one to speak with words and for it to make sense but this book, this book was something amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re stuck in a complicated relationship. I will be referring back to this book when I cannot find those certain words to express the frustration I feel. I need a part please!

17. A must read. - Have you ever read a book that hit so many emotional cords, you have to put it down to reflect? If you are going through a breakup please read this book. That’s exactly what happened to me while reading this book. It it’s so many issues dead on. It’s refreshing knowing I’m not the only one who suffers with certain things. This book really opened my eyes to what I was going through.

18. Must read! - I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. It helped me get over the doubts and guilt that I have carried for almost two years for finally ending a very un healthy relationship. I also realized I should have ended it a long time ago. It’s inspirational and refreshing. I have a whole new look at how to handle red flags that I have ignored in the past and be confident in letting a grown man heal on his own when it’s obvious he does not want to do this on his own. I have been one that tries to help others see that everyone is not the same and it has been detrimental to my love for myself. So much more was learned but these things stood out to me the most! I am grateful for the authors honesty.

19. Very helpful - This book alone has helped me sort out so many emotions I have been trying to sort out for years now. If you are at a pivotal point in life where you’re not sure about yourself, marriage, pain, whatever it may be, it’s a must read! Thank you so much for your journey to help yourself, that in turn helped so many others. God Bless you!

20. Eye opening book - This book needs to be read by both males and females. I have been going through a lot and this book helped me organize my thoughts, re-evaluate my choices and understand that a healthy relationship starts with me. Some things were hard to read because they make you reflect on your own flaws but it is very necessary to reflect on both the good and the bad of yourself. I’ve annotated and started journal entries from subjects touched upon in the book. I’ve told all my friends to read it. It’s just eye-opening to say the least.

21. Perfect - Derrick has been my go to in trying to understand love, and mold myself into a woman healed and deserving of the love I want. This book is the icing on the wedding cake so to speak. He keeps it real, informs you of things you didn’t know, and explains things you thought you already knew. I’ve been single for . years, the first years because I knew I wasn’t ready.... the last months because I knew the people that came to me weren’t ready. In the last month, I have met someone that seems to genuinely care about me, and seems to want the same goals in life. Is it love? Obviously not right now and who knows if it will ever be, but because of Derrick and his literature, videos, and words of wisdom and advice I can say that I’m confident in making the right decision with this. This newest book he has written is even more so being intertwined into my current situation. Not only is it beautifully written, but it is a constant reminder to never forget that we have a crown of the highest royalty to uphold, and that is of ourselves.

22. Don’t forget your Crown - I finished this book in days! I couldn’t put it down. I learned so much about myself it has become a beautiful thing. There’s things about a man that I actually had issues with, within myself. I would do a lot of the things the man did and not on purpose. This book has opened my eyes not only for the man that I deserve but also opened my eyes to becoming a better person, more understanding. My BF broke up with me wks ago because my “insecurities were too much to deal with” and yes I can understand. I have a lot of healing to do and letting go of past hurt I never faced. As I finished the Chapter where you realized you let her go and you needed her back my doorbell rings and it is my ex with a bottle of wine (my favorite I must add) saying peace offering. I acknowledged that I appreciated that because he’s not romantic at all and we didn’t talk for weeks I’ve been blocked etc. but that showed me a lot and after reading that chapter I guess he had a moment like you did.

23. Reassuring! - I have been an avid Facebook fan but until recently hadn’t had a desire to purchase the full book. I guess my intuition was what actually sold me on the idea that I needed to make the investment. I have been working on self-love for about three years now and had just recently started to waiver on certain Ideas I had for someone who was looking to be in it for the long stretch. Hearing over and over again that I was a “hopeless romantic”, that I had “unrealistic expectations” were things that were starting to weigh heavy on me. And just when I was beginning to lower the value on myself to make it “easier” to find something because of the idea that “ I’m not getting any younger” I made the purchase. It couldn’t have been more refreshing to hear a males perspective at all of these different stages in life. I’m so grateful you’ve become so open and vulnerable with your own experiences to help others. Thank you.

24. Wow! - My relationship with my fiancé is going through a very rough patch. Reading this book made me realize two things . I haven’t practice self-love for the past - years of my relationship. . A women will never keep a man by giving him everything he wants and molding herself to his version of a perfect wife I found what I need to do in order to save my relationship. It’s to love me. All of me. I can’t properly love anybody till I fully love myself.
I’m going to focus on the things I need to do to be the best version of me. The healthy, strong and independent women I once was got lost. I will find my way back to her. I will nourish her and will never lose site that she is all I ever needed to be happy.

25. Interesting read - I really enjoyed reading this book from beginning to end. The one thing I loved the most is viewing both aspects of men and women in relationships. I’ve become a fan of Derrick because he speaks truth into existence and many of us seem to forget that if you can’t love yourself, how can you love someone else? Thank you for the book and sharing your thoughts on relationships.

1. Camus' "The Rebel" - Excellent political/Psychological treatise explores the inevitable tyranny which follows in the wake of any Successful Revolution, wherein the formerly oppressed become the New Oppressors..
Well-thought out, written in an extremely rational, coherent manner.
All in all, very worthy Essay.

1. Navigation sets it apart - This electronic version of the public domain work is much improved over its paper counterpart. The table of contents allows for speedy navigation. Also, Apple's addition of a "Back" feature at the bottom left of the screen provides the ability to return to the previous location with ease. The cost is a small price to pay to have this classic handy on the iPad.

2. A free book for $ - Please note that my low rating is not a reflection of the content of this intriguing work by Jefferson, but an indictment of the all too common practice of packaging eBooks for sale without any concern whatsoever for their layout. This work is in the public domain, and has been for years. The complete text is available on the Internet, for free. Now someone has apparently taken that text, churned it through an ePub conversion utility, and put a price tag on it without adding any value whatsoever. No care has been taken to reformat the work for an ePub text flow. Had the publisher at least made an effort to improve the presentation, the price might be thus justified. As it stands, they want us to pay for their diligence in doing nothing. For shame.

2. Needed to be written!!!! - Excellent material, relevant and necessary for people worldwide. These are topics I've often thought about, Sandel puts the words properly into context. There are many laugh out loud moments too, which is rare for philosophy. I would recommend this to anyone who thinks the markets need more evaluating.
