1. Good, but not her best. - I have been anxiously waiting on this book to come out as I LOVED all the previous ones in this series. This was good, and a quick read, but it wasn’t as gripping or thrilling. It’s hard to understand how all of the kids had issues yet weren’t even all related. What are the chances? The plot fell a bit flat for me. The one big thing that happened broke my heart. If you’ve read the others in the series then I recommend also reading this one. Just don’t hold out that it’s going to blow you away.

1. Excellent thrill read - I read lots of FBI mysteries etc. I could not put this down. There were lots of twists and turns. I like there were multiple mysteries going on at the same time. I got first acquainted with JT Ellison with Patterson. Much better than Pattersons books. I will read all of JT’s books now!

1. Not really about murder anymore... - While I do enjoy this series I have a lot of criticism. The main thing I’m really not enjoying about this series is that the more you read it the more sexual it gets. The sexual interactions aren’t adding much to the story anymore and now, it seems like filler. Also let’s be honest, women do not orgasm as much as the book naively wants you to believe. To me that makes it childish and unrealistic. The plot seems to be overtaken with sexual fantasies that aren’t contributing to furthering the story’s plot and it’s getting a little frustrating to read(especially in public places).

Disappointing - I'm about a third of the way through this monster and the stories told are goofy pastiches, Picklock Holes (yes, really) and at least one so far that only mentions Holmes but never appears. Solar Pons is ably written but I suppose I'm a purist. The titles says it's the big book of Sherlock Holmes, not characters that act like or sound like Sherlock Holmes. This book misses the mark. I'll plow through the rest but reviews of the MX series are pretty good. Pass on this one.

1. Sad ending - I've never like reading book before, but after I've read the novel of Sherlock Holmes. I am now completely change my habit. I really like reading this novel and in the final problem the tear dropped from my eyes I was very sad !!! but after I read the last pages I found out that Holmes not yet leave me ,so I will continue to read another story that related with Holmes.I am very thank for the publisher that release this books for online reader :)

1. Elementary ... Just elementary. - I have not read a lot of "fan fiction" before, but I was not terribly pleased with this collection. It is no easy task to imitate the style of another, and some of the tales in this collection thankfully did not attempt to do so. Unfortunately, not all of the authors were so wise. Regardless, the editors gathered stories generally inspired by the Conan ones, and in my humble opinion these are not sufficiently 'inspired' to justify a reader spending the time forgiving the myriad foibles each author's interpretation suffers from throughout the telling
