1. Amazing - Had this manga recommended to me through a TikTok of all places and I absolutely love it so far. I was originally afraid that the story would be too short when I saw that only volumes are currently published. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that wasn’t the case. I was hook from the very beginning. I would differently recommend this manga to anyone who willing to listen!
2021-02-092. This will surpass your every expectation. Absolutely a must-read! - I cauaght a glimpse of this manga’s production about a year ago and the premise is just too good to pass up. A spy father, an assassin mother, and a telepath daughter is a perfect equation for a light-hearted comedic action series. Every character is rich with potential and deep history that can open up so many story arcs in the future. The art is crisp and sharp and expressive (especially the daughter, who is the cutest bundle of joy in the world). I had so many laughs and jaw-dropping moments in the first few chapters and I am absolutely addicted to this series. % worth any price tag.
2020-08-013. A Spy, Assassin, and Telepath walk into a manga... - Wow! I’m really impressed; despite being fairly new, and the first book the author has self-written, this book was well written and I loved the art style! I’m really excited for the next manga, and Anya is cute as heck. I can’t wait to see the romance between Twilight and Yor grow as well! And the facial expressions sometimes made me burst out in laughter, ( Anya’s smug face should be the main reason you read this (๑ ๑) ). I can’t wait until this gets an anime adaption because it totally deserves it!! / on my anime list, totally worth it (also who else thinks Damian is adorable?( ʖ ) )

1. Flawless & a wild ride - Everything from the artwork to the plot is amazing. Tomie is the best evil, gorgeous woman you’ll probably ever read/have seen in media. Not scary, but dark. A lot of dark humor from Tomie. You can’t help, but hope bad things happen to her. Junji Ito does great with the many short stories about Tomie. They don’t feel repetitive as long as you’re not trying to read the near page book in a day. Each and every one of the stories are unique and captivating. It’s worth the buy just for the amazing artwork from Ito. The plot from each stories are a bonus.
2020-05-172. Psychological Horror with an Amazing Plot - Tomie is a manga that genuinely made me feel uncomfortable at times. Junji Ito is amazing and creating imagery that is genuinely scary, yet he never compromises the plot. With Tomie, I got the scary factor, but overall, to its core, Tomie is a masterpiece of a story. The idea of a femme-fatale who lives to drive men mad with her death is not only original, it’s horrifying. A definite must buy!

1. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!! - Junji ito is an amazing author AND illustrator. This book is incredibly tense and exciting. I don’t like horror, BUT I love Junji ito’s work! Certain parts did not really scare me but were definitely unsettling. However, just as you wrap up certain pages (no spoilers here), I saw something that actually scared me and but me in pure shock. This was definitely worth the purchase!

This series is awesome - I can honestly say with this series, it’s probably one of the most wholesome manga and anime I’ve watched considering the idea of family and just being a different kind of action with the whole spy theme. I’ve rated all volumes a star because with how funny it is and with the characters you can never dislike but fall in love with. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the story continues.

1. This book. - This book was one of the best I’ve read. It had the perfect balance of horror, tapping into the human psyche, grotesqueness, likable characters, and a perfect ending to fit the story. It was very sad at the end and did a good deal of scaring me, but this is now one of my favorite books.

1. Exceptional story with wonderfully expressive artwork - This was my first time reading No Longer Human by Osaka Dazai. Junji Ito does an amazing job illustrating the main character’s horrific descent into madness as well as his psychological trauma throughout the story. After finishing this novel, I am compelled to read the original work and compare the two. I can not recommend this book enough if one enjoys horror, life, and tragedy.

1. Uhm - This story line was amazing but so disturbing. I read it within two hours and it kept getting creepier and creepier. Point is, if you’re weak like me, don’t read it at midnight and finishing it at almost am and being unable to sleep cause you are so disturbed. Other than that, amazing story!

1. Smart women in male culture - Not a big fan of harem stories, but Maomao is such a terrific character thriving in a male dominated culture. She is aware of the world, understands the need and strength to accommodate, and brings her love of knowledge and justice to bear. The manga is delightful capturing Maomao’s smart mind and brings to life the inner imperial court world of medieval “eastern” Asia. Capturing Maomao’s quick mind, inner dialog, and joy de vie in the drawings and dialog make this a favorite of mine. I look forward to more manga and hope the light novel gets published in English and even dream of an anime.

1. Still the Best Fusion of Family and Espionage - This manga continues to excel at creating the prefect parallel between family troubles and spy situations. The art continues to convey sharp and vivid emotional energy during the especially intense scenes of anger and embarassment. In typical manga and anime fashion, the bits of overpowered physical ability during harsh oppoosition in battle is a fun necessity in the story. With the final chapter leaving with a heavy atmosphere, the next volume is going to expand the main narrative ever forward. Great new volume overall!
