I started it fast so I could get it out of the way and it was so good I read it times to really get slavery and sadness in my head. 1. GREATEST BOOK EVER!!!! - This book is a great book. I am a fifth grader at Christian Brothers School and had to read this book for school. As a kid who always wanted to learn about racism and all that sort of stuff, this book was great for me. I have read this book three times now and every time something different in the book stands out to me. Mildred D. Taylor did a great job of writing this book and really making the book suspenseful to where you wanted to read on.

2016-04-083. I LOVED THIS BOOK - This book was really good. I especially liked the part at the beginning (spoilers alert) when they dug the trench in the road for the bus to go through and get stuck. I've only ever actually read the first chapters and it was really good. I was reading the book for school so I never had the time to finish it. Definitely read this book. Also if you are looking for a book for black history month and are looking for a book look no further than this books pages. Loves this book I have it a whole five stars so that must mean it's worth it.
2015-04-074. Roll Of Thunder - In the beginning of the book it is hard to understand what is going on, who the narrator is, and who each character is. As you go on in the story you begin to understand everything. In some parts of the story it can be boring and slow, but at the end of the book you understand the importance of all the events leading up to the ending. I really really enjoyed this book!

1. WOW!! - So I wasn't sure if I would like this book, but my teacher gave it to me and said "Read this!" I loved this book SOOOOO much! There were so many parts I felt bad for him, and I had to tell myself it was fiction not real. The ending though!! It was just like "alright it's over now" and I was like "IS THERE A SEQUEL PLEASE LET THERE BE A SEQUEL!!!" But there's not :(. It was epic otherwise!!

1. My All Time Favorite - This book is one of my favorite books to read. It is wonderfully well written and entertaining from beginning to end. I have read it several times and every time I read it, I feel the same sort of emotions I felt the first time I read the story. The connection that I feel towards the Logan family is real and has been since the first time I read Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. I wish this wasn’t the last book about them. I could read their story forever, and I figure that is because the author is a great storyteller. This book is a hands-down must read if you are a fan of Mildred D. Taylor and her story of the Logans. This is truly a masterpiece!

1. Good.. - This was Curtis’s first novel and it needs a LOT of work. It’s a page turner until they get to Birmingham. In fact they spend more than half of the book at home (which was BORING) and only a couple of chapters in Birmingham. The end of the book was good and was a real life situation when spoilers one of the churches get bombed with the little sister, Joetta, in it. But there is apparently this crazy wool pooh and I didnt understand that part AT ALL.

Reading this story made me remember the beautiful country and the people I met when I was there I saw the hardship and there struggles. 2014-11-247. Inside Out and Back Again - This book takes you to in a war-torn Vietnam those the eyes of a young girl named Ha. The story chronicles her upheaval from her homeland to a foreign and scary America. I liked how the book was written in verse. It reminded me of a journal a young girl would write about her life, but her story carried the weight of emotional turmoil. A great, quick read.

This book shows the courage of a boy who wanted to fought for all the children who faced horrible conditions while working off debts. He was strong and not afraid. He worked hard and many kids now owe him their life.
2017-08-042. A truly moving book - This would be a great and inspiring novel even if it were made up, but the fact that it's based on a true story makes it ten times better! "Iqbal" is about getting away from a negative experience and making a positive impact on the people and things around you. The climax comes early so the end is just a tiny bit slow,but otherwise a great page turner.
