2. Such an inspiration. :) - George is such a talented man. I've never been to a Celtic Thunder concert, but I have always dreamed of seeing them and George performing live, since I was in sixth grade (now nearly , I swear I'm the only teenager that knows these wonderful musicians)! But now I'll never get the chance to see it... RIP George This album, like all of his work, is absolutely beautiful. It sends shivers down my spine. A must own for any CT fan, or anyone for that matter! His music is so gorgeous and serene...I can only hope his voice will continue to touch others' lives like it has mine. :)

1. A beauty for the ears - This ep is just sooo amazing. I'm not even sure if I can fully explain it. You don't get a lot of concept albums these days but this is magnificent. It captures for the life of a historical figure in a way that enchants and ensares you in such a way that you can't walk away. Soooo good.

1. A Remarkable Album - One day, I was listening to Celtic Radio when a song I’d never heard before came on. It was called “Mordred’s Lullaby”, by Heather Dale, off an album called “The Trial Of Lancelot”. The song was so amazing that I bought the album before the song was even over. And in my opinion, it’s not even the best song on the album. I unreservedly recommend this album to anyone.

1. Unexpectedly Powerful - Those that follow traditional Irish music will be pleasantly surprised at the power that Donal extracts from the acoustic guitar. The tunes are expressive and intricate while preserving the beauty of traditional Irish music. The first tune, Tommy Coen’s Memories, immediately grasps the listener and carries them through the final hornpipe without letting go. One would rarely envision the acoustic guitar as prominent vehicle for traditional music, but in the hands of Donal Clancy, watch out. This is a must for fans of the traditional.

1. Geeky fun and happiness - I was fortunate enough to pick up a copy of this album and Dragoncon and it's been in constant rotation ever since. This album covers everything from Timelords and space cowboys to zombies and felt green frogs. The album will make you smile and feel a bit nostalgic. My particular favorite tracks are Doctors of Gallifrey and A Boy and His Frog, but honestly I love the whole album. This is more than just a great filk or nerdcore album it's just an overall great album.

2. Another Masterpiece! - Marc Gunn is an amazing musician, singer, and songwriter. He has been one of my top favorites for nearly a decade and one of the main reasons I love Celtic music. As for the album it is a wonderful tribute to the Science Fiction and Fantasy Genres and I recomend it for anyone who wants a good Filk albim. Also check out his other albums, trust me they will become a staple in your music collection for years to come. Slainte!

3. Hilarious and Quality - I usually wait to write reviews, but I am enjoying this album so much I couldn’t wait. It dabbles in so much geekery, that I’m sure anyone could enjoy it. Many of the songs are also the tunes of traditional Irish songs. If you love Celtic or Geek, you will probably love this. If you have never heard Marc Gunn before, I would compare him and this album to Jonathan Coulton, Paul & Storm, the DoubleClicks, etc. This is a highly entertaining blend of geek culture, humor, Irish/folk tunes, and quality production.

1. Disappointing - This album provides more traditional fare than their first; there are no dense looping tracks like Flying Tent or the Red Haired Boy set here. Sally Goodin' and Cluck Old Hen were interesting and enjoyable, but that's about it. I took an almost immediate dislike to this version of Josephine's Waltz, the choice of instruments just didn't fit. I was grimacing frequently through the track and it suddenly struck me that all of their melody improvisations and flourishes on this simple beautiful tune were like putting make-up and wigs on toddlers for a beauty pageant -- it's just wrong.
