I love his illustrations, teaching style and his approach to communicating the Gospel. His messages are relevant, relatable, impactful, organized and thought provoking. I never feel like he rambles and he’s always “on message.” Great communicators can say a lot in a little time and I can tell that he STUDIES and is intentional with his words which is EXACTLY what we should expect out of great pastors. I LOVE THIS CHURCH and if I wasn’t in Florida, this is where I’d be!

Every week you can join Lynne Wester and T. Clay Buck to share laughs (and cringe-worthy case studies) as we unpack the most ridiculous (and positively shocking) situations that happen within our sector. Because sometimes we just have to laugh at ourselves in order to learn. Because here’s the thing. We believe in the power of generosity to change the world. And something tells us you do too. 1. Crony-ism - Never underestimate the criminality of our local political structures. Graft is normalized and outright theft of public funds is ignored. Detroit water. Houston airport. Fiscal responsibility will never happen until we remove or redirect the incentives for local politicians to steal. Great show!

2. Climate change and development patterns expert suggestion - Hello Abby and Chuck, I’m a huge fan of the show and absolutely love Chucks book Strong Towns. At the end of your episode on climate change and development patterns, I heard the call for a suggestion of an expert on this subject. Jason Bradford, a biologist, farmer, co-host of the Crazy Town Podcast, and former board president of the Post Carbon Institute, I believe would be a phenomenal guest on the show. Primarily for his expertise on the subject of climate change and development. In he wrote a report called The Future is Rural. This report is a deep dive into what Chuck explained as the “village” model. It is an incredible read. Thanks so much for making such a wonderful podcast and for being champions of a movement I really believe in.

11. Great podcast from someone who gets it! - Joan's podcasts is one of the few I never miss, and I've been known to listen to some episodes more than once. Each episode is packed with practical, actionable tips for nonprofit leaders, and she often says something that makes me laugh out loud! You can tell she enjoys motivating her listeners to take their organizations to the next level.
2019-06-07
12. Great Content, if you can stand it - I used to love this podcast. But the audio quality has steadily dropped over the last few months. The most recent episode was unlistenable. It's a tragedy, because Joan has great stuff to say (especially if you're an ED, or on the board), but...if you can't hear it, what does it matter?

13. An amazing and authentic resource - Having formerly worked in the for-profit arena (with a marketing & advertising background) and then gradually transitioning to the non-profit industry (from a volunteer to a consultant to a staff member to an Assistant Executive Director of a national organization), I've found this podcast series to be extremely helpful! I look forward to each new episode release and recommend it to others looking for good, honest and authentic nonprofit industry in sight..

14. Like a personal coach for the new nonprofit director - I love listening to Joan’s podcast on my way to and from my job as a university art museum director. I am new to this role and her podcast addresses all of my questions in a very approachable candid manner. Her conversations with special guests are always illuminating and sometimes I listen to the podcasts a few times to fully absorb all of their good advice. I eagerly await each new episode.
2016-07-06
15. Shot in the arm! - I stumbled on the ED episode today, listened to it while showering since that’s when I have time to just listen to something, and then dug for more over coffee instead of reading more email. Episode one, about making the ask, is already in the inbox of the President of the Board. Thanks! Our nonprofit is barely off the ground, we’ve just expanded the board, every piece of the puzzle is in place but we need good advice fast!
2016-03-24
16. Incredible advice and LAUGHTER! - As a nonprofit professional, there is nothing better than someone who “gets it”. Joan’s brand of humor and real talk is incredible to read in her blog, but even better spoken live. Joan switches between moments of lightness and true, enactable advice that makes you take a deep breath… And deep breaths can be few and far between in our fast paced world! I am recommending this podcast to all of my nonprofit friends. The nonprofit podcast world was sorely missing Joan. I am happy she is here!

17. Essential Listening - If you are non-profit executive or Executive Director, this is essential listening. Joan Garry has had one of my favorite emails, websites for over a year. I am not surprised her podcast is as good (if not better). It is already a favorite. It is like having a mentor and coach all in one and I look forward to many more interviews and life lessons.

18. I love Joan! - Ok full disclosure: Joan is a friend, but I am also SO EXCITED for this podcast. 23. One of the best Nonprofit podcasts! - Y’all, this is the real deal. Being in the industry for ten years, I’ve heard a lot of podcasts, read a lot of blogs, and seen too many webinars. This is one that I finally learn from! They don’t repeat the same thing you hear everywhere else. I feel like I hear the same thing with every podcast, blog and webinar, but this one is different! It’s better! It actually talks about relevant fundraising ideas, tips, and stories. The first podcast I listened to of theirs, I took four pages of notes. I can’t stress enough, if you are in the nonprofit sector, start listening!
2021-08-23
24. Amazing podcast! - I started listening to this podcast about a month into my first nonprofit fundraising position. I was a little overwhelmed and already feeling to burnout of being creative and “on” all the time. This is my go to podcast for being refreshed and energized to get back to the good work that I get to be a part of.
2021-08-23
25. Exceptional! - I unexpectedly started a non-profit three years ago after losing my day old son to heart failure. We wanted to do something to honor his life and worked with his cardiologist to sponsor a child from a developing country for heart surgery. Helping one child turned into a big vision of making sure every child born with CHD has access to care regardless of where they live. I have no background or experience with non-profit work and was thrown into learning everything at once. For the first few years I had a hard time finding helpful resources that weren’t outdated. I found this podcast a few weeks ago and I am so incredibly grateful for the work they are doing! It’s such a blessing to have a place to go for encouragement, professional development and inspiring conversations that always leave me with ways to make our non-profit better. I highly recommend binging every episode and taking notes!

It’s a must listen, reminding you, “yes, you can make a difference and you’re not alone.”

2. So approachable. Easy to integrate! - Mallory seems to effortlessly pull amazingly useful information about fundraising from her guests and then immediately and intuitively address the reactions that I’m having internally that might prevent me from actually integrating and implementing the tips I’m hearing. I’ve already made some changes to my tiny habits after listening to the Real Relationships series and I am feeling pretty revitalized about a part of my work that I was putting off because I was a bit intimidated about it
2023-03-16
3. Beyond Insightful - The principles Mallory teaches in this podcast go way beyond fundraising and are a gift to the entire nonprofit ecosystem. Each guest brings a unique perspective that can help anyone in any position at your org. This podcast will challenge you to your core, yet is grounded in kindness and a deep love for our sector. Every episode has multiple lightbulb moments…I always have my notes app ready to catch them all!

4. Fantastic topics - If non-profit is about generosity, What the Fundraising has become a home for thought-leaders in philanthropy to practice what they preach and give back to other professionals in the field by sharing deep insights. There much nuance to our work and many specific skills that help accomplish it - these episodes help express more about both of those facets. I’ve found this episodes useful and generative for me as a fundraising practitioner.

5. Helpful, practical, relatable! - I am a new ED and raising money was originally something I was told I wouldn’t have to worry about because I had the full support of my board behind me. But, that is NOT the case and so I’ve been feeling a little stranded. This podcast has helped me feel like I CAN do this and that I’m not left out on a limb! I’m grateful!
2023-01-12
6. Must Listen for Fundraisers! - Every episode, Mallory and her guests provide “aha” moments and insights about fundraising. Often I listen to an episode twice to soak in all the wisdom and practical tips. Mallory combines candor with encouragement acknowledging the hard parts of fundraising and reminding us why we do this important work.

7. Valuable show for ANYONE who is fundraising (no matter the size or scale) - Such a great show, and Mallory features some fantastic guests. The long form conversations allow for a lot of depth into important topics (and I definitely appreciate that!) Even if you don’t specifically work in the nonprofit space, but work with those who fundraise in any capacity…you will benefit from this show! Thanks for the valuable content!

8. A must-listen! - What the Fundraising is a must-listen for fundraisers and impact leaders. Mallory is both an amazing nonprofit coach and podcast host - she’s got a wealth of insights from her own expertise and pulls out actionable gems from her expert guests! As my fellow reviewers have mentioned, the advice shared in these episodes is useful for those in both the non and for profit spaces. Highly recommend tuning in!

9. Best fundraising podcast, fascinating interviews - Mallory’s interviews are intelligent, thoughtful, kind and delightfully fun! I’ve raised funds for an excellent cause for over years now, and Mallory’s insights are spot on. She truly understands the people who want to move charity forward to bring needed change to our world, and how fundraisers and funders can serve together with joy to make that possible.
2021-09-19
10. Engaging and insightful! - It’s wonderful to hear the enthusiasm around Mallory’s approach to fundraising. It’s infectious and I love that she is a disruptor! Thank you Mallory for your wonderful insights!
I loved your guests and how they relate their ideas to fundraising. Can’t wait to read Chatter!

11. A tonic for the heart of a fundraising professional - A fresh perspective and charming personality! I love how Mallory reframes and revitalizes the field of fundraising. I have more than ten years as a fundraising professional and am beginning to feel burnt-out and out and more than a little fed up with the donor/fundraiser dynamic. I’ll be regularly turning to this podcast for inspiration.
2021-07-21
12. Advice for All of Us! - Although this Podcast appears to target the non-profit world, the first few guests have many insights to share that will help anyone, including parents and children. I didn’t get anything done this morning because I spent my time listening to episodes and , and I was inspired to buy the book “Chatter,” by Ethan Kross.

13. Breath of fresh air - Mallory Erickson is just what the nonprofit industry needs right now: steady voice, disruptive topics, abundance mindset, and shifting the lens on our sector to reimagine what’s possible for good. I am assured every time I hit Play that what I’m hearing is a fundamental shift in how I’ve been taught to fundraise, engage and partner. Highly recommend for any professional looking to growth personally, professionally and emotionally. What the Fundraising is good for the head and the heart.

1. Filled my sails - Grant Writing Simplified has provided me with insights to get started with grant writing. I want to be done with classroom teaching. I’ve only listened to the first episodes so far, but I’ve heard what I needed to hear to go after grant writing:
. My skills translate
. My natural interests translate
. My desire to help a good cause translates
. I know (mostly) how to get started
. The world needs me to make a difference Highly recommended!

2. Concise, helpful, and well edited - Last week I decide I wanted to get into grant writing. There are so many books available and so much information on the web I wondered, “Where do I start?” I started with this podcast yesterday and I am so glad I did! I listened to several of Teresa’s episodes during a bike ride. When I listen to a podcast for professional enrichment, I want it to be direct and precise, and Teresa’s podcast is exactly that, without being too dry. The topics are specific and relevant without being repetitive. Much like Teresa specifies in grants that writing must be concise, the podcast is too. Some are minutes long and I appreciate that she knows she can cover the topic in a short period of time without feeling pressure to extend them to an arbitrary length, like an hour. They are also well-edited—no coffee slurping or pregnant pauses. The very first episode is useful without a lot of fluffy pretense that leaves you asking “Can you get on with it already?” Teresa speaks clearly and professionally. I can just feel her efficiency and effectiveness coming through!

3. Ashley McMichael-Founder of Innovative Academy - I had the privilege of working with Teresa on a very large project and it was the most pleasant paid service I’ve had since I have been business. She’s an amazing at helping you think think through your solution or project. She also pushes and believes in her clients. As usual the strategy session for the podcast was amazing and thought provoking. When I leave, I have to hurry and write things down because she always cultivates my creativeness. In all, I will be working with Teresa for the long haul. She’s definitely a keeper.

4. Invaluable Resource for Grant Writers - I’m a newbie grant writer and I have found Teresa’s podcast helpful as I start my journey in this complicated field. From strategies calls to interviews with leaders in the nonprofit sector, I’ve been able to increase my knowledge through these episodes in order to help advance my own grant writing skills. I would highly recommend other newbie grant writers, experienced grant writers, and even others in the nonprofit space to tune in to Teresa’s podcast to hear valuable information to help enhance their own learning.

They were incredibly welcoming, extremely bright, and the most humble individuals I had ever had the pleasure of meeting. 1. Excellent! - I highly recommend Ending Human Trafficking. Dr. Morgan is a global expert on the often challenging to hear but absolutely critical to be informed about topic of human trafficking. EHT will educate you on numerous aspects of human trafficking through diverse guests and always keeping the voice of those who have been trafficked at the forefront. Dr. Morgan provides evidence based resources and terminology that can help you if you are a professional in this field and perhaps more importantly as a concerned citizen, parent or caregiver. I am an advocate and supporter of Dr. Morgan’s work and this podcast. Have a listen and I think you will quickly agree!

2. A Source Much Needed - I recently began my journey into diving deep listening to this podcast, & can I say that wow Dr. Sandra and Dave Stachowiak are amazing podcasters. I just finished listening to the "White Ribbon Against Pornography" with blend of emotions(none positive, just positively hoping to decreasing trafficking %). Porn does a lot in making human trafficking more difficult to tackle and eliminate. I consider it the new drug that people must be aware of! It's no joke but a crisis on the rise. I appreciate the work and focus that gets put into each episode you produce and the guest that you bring on to the show are also a great benefit to the show. I at times feel guilty listening to this podcast because I feel powerless to help people in these situations, but I must put my learnings to test and be an effective citizen in helping our society remove that plague, which is the sickness of trafficking. Again, I want to thank Vanguard Profs Dr. Sandra Morgan and Dave Stachowiak for this illusive mind capturing podcast.

3. Such valuable information to better our society - Thank you Sandy and Dave for all your work to report the anti-trafficking statistics, education, and action steps we can all take to make our communities safer. This is very useful for the everday person who might not realize what has been happening right here in the USA and gives practical ways we can contribute to the cause and make a difference in awareness and action. We can all play a role in the prevention!
2017-11-15
4. Excellent - This podcast is extremely informative and provides quality information regarding the issues of human trafficking and how we can make a difference. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone because we all have a role to play in ending human trafficking. Thank you Sandy and Dave for all you do!

5. We Don't Know What We Don't Know - Those who have been around human trafficking for awhile, know that the issues are complex. Yet regardless of how much we've learned, there's always more. Whether you're new to the issues or have been involved for a long time, this podcast is the best resoure I've found for increasing our understanding. And, increased understanding better equips us to abolish modern-day slaver. Plus it's free and available to listen to during drive time!
2015-03-20
6. A-MA-ZING - As someone working in social ministry I can not commend this podcast to folks enough! It is by far & away the most informative podcast out there on the subject! I do some community speaking and prevention work and have often passed along information I learned here. I find myself listening and re-listening to episodes to make sure I've 'downloaded" all the content and not missed any nugget or detail. Chock-full of resources and networking information, this podcast will stir your passion and give you practical outlets to channel it! THANK YOU!! Keep the info coming and the firm Biblical basis too!!!

7. – Ps for Prevention - New Parents: I highly recommend this podcast! Applying a cyber exploitation prevention strategy to the home front can be difficult; as a parent, it’s something we never want to deal with while prevention strategies can be overwhelming. With an early, simplified and age-appropriate approach (“the Ps”), we can fortify our future generations with the psychological resources they need to avoid or report issues. I encourage future podcasts on this subject to help promote parent strategies or tactics from the front lines. One aspect I am exploring is using Prayer as a way to gain insight into my child’s world – praying for his friends who may be sad or hurting to identify other families that need support.
2013-06-14
8. Comprehensive and Useful - The first time I heard about human trafficking, I knew I had to do something to help end it. Since I have opportunities to educate others about trafficking, I am always trying to learn as much as I can so my information is accurate and useful. I've spent hundreds of hours researching all aspects of human trafficking, and the Ending Human Trafficking podcast is one of the most useful tools I have discovered. The information is presented in an easy-to-understand way, each unit covers a different topic, and I learn something new in each episode. Since I have begun listening, I have learned of new organizations, individuals, facts, statistics, stories, resources, and ideas that work. Even though there are a lot of episodes, if you download them onto your phone, computer, ipod, etc., you can listen to them while you walk, run, drive, or do other things. I definitely recommend this podcast and I direct others to it. Thanks so much, Sandra and Dave, for all the work you have put into producing this!
2013-06-01
9. excellent resource - The Ending Human Trafficking podcast is an excellent resource for learning about human trafficking and giving you a handle on how to fight it. I've listened to them all and I recommend starting by listening to the first or podcasts to get orientated to the problem and then listen to to learn what average people can do to fight it. Then listen to the rest as they are all good.
2013-04-09
10. Gives everyday people tools to help end human trafficking - Would you like to know what you can do to engage in the fight to end human trafficking? Then this podcast is for you! It's amazing how everyday people (plumbers, teachers, government workers, stay at home moms, healthcare workers, receptionists, wait staff, etc.) can play vital roles in ending modern day slavery. This podcast will equip you and give you resources to engage in the fight. Millions of people need our help. Join the fight!
2012-10-27
11. Informative, Empowering, Practical - Knowledge alone isn't power. It is powerful when it is partnered with practical advice of empowerment. This podcast brings together experts from many fields to the table who can enhance the discussion of how we, average people, can fight the modern-day tragedy of slavery where we live. We can be intentional activists or informed consumers. To whatever degree we decide to engage in the issue, this podcast gives us the insight and tools to make intelligent choices. Thank you, Sandra and David, for your excellent work on this quality product. Blessings, DebB

12. Knowledge is Power - Thank you for this incredible podcast! You keep it fresh by bringing on guests on a regular basis as well as giving your audience tangible answers to feeling empowered to make a difference in combating human trafficking. I have devoured this entire series over the past two months and anxiously await my bi-weekly education on the newest information and varying perspectives that are brought onto this podcast. Thank you Dave and Sandra for your work and commitment to this project!
2012-08-21
13. GET THE WORD OUT! - I've listened to only about a third of the episodes, but thus far, I am impressed with the quality of material, depth of insight, and abundance of information that listening to this podcast has granted me. Before this podcast, I knew few facts about human trafficking--one of which being that there are more slaves today than virtually ever before on record in human history, and it was this devastating fact that compelled me to search for more information--which led me to this. Don't let this be just another podcast in the search list that you pass up--listen, heed the call, and spread the word. It's time to stop ignoring something that should never have been ignored to begin with. Listen to the podcasts. Read the most recent Trafficking in Persons report. Get involved. Advocate. Educate. Be a voice for the voiceless. And get the word out on human trafficking. --DH

1. Deep dive, excellent information - I’ve been a worker in the movement to abolish trafficking and sexual exploitation for years. This podcast has a huge depth of valuable information directly from people who’s lives have been affected by it, or from workers on the frontline (including the knowledge shared by Benji and Laila) that most people would not have access to. I highly recommend this podcast to any abolitionist, newer or older. I work to equip churches to serve in anti-trafficking ministry and I’ll be sharing some of these podcasts as part of our basic training. Some other reviewers have mentioned that Benji speaks too much or almost puts words in the interviewees mouth. For me, Benji and Laila are having a conversation with the interviewee, and their input often recaps or highlights important points that they don’t want the audience to lose sight of. I get the sense that each interviewee has a friendship with Benji and Laila and trusts them. I think that if the interviewee felt uneasy about anything, they would say something. Overall, I think this is a groundbreaking podcast for the movement. Thank you for the efforts to create it!

2. Benjamin talks too much - Please tone down your input when you’re interviewing people Ben. Keeping your thoughts and talking to a minimum is important in terms of respect for the women you have on your show. I’m currently listening to your interview with Meghan Murphy and you’ve been talking for an absurd amount of time now. It’s totally off-putting. Otherwise thank you for the work you’re doing to combat pornography and prostitution.

3. Amazing, thank you!! - I have learned so much from listening to this podcast about the commercial sex industry and the fight of abolition. As someone new to abolition, this podcast has been so informative and has really helped me gain a better understanding of the many layers to this issue. I am so encouraged by the dialogue, guest speakers, stories of the history of Exodus Cry, the work of the Lord through this organization and so much more. I cannot thank you enough for this podcast! Keep the episodes coming!!!!
2019-11-13
4. Great intention! Minor tweaks - I’m thankful that this podcast exists! It’ll help remove the “glamorized” cover off of sex work and help shed light on the truth of this industry, hopefully setting many free along the way. My one suggestion is that the host should try listening more and allow more room for the guests to speak without cutting them off or asking leading/assuming questions. i.e. “You felt — when...” (Demonstrated in Ep. for example). It may be unintentional, but it does get in the way of the listener being able to fully hear the guest’s story from their perspective, which is personally why I come to listen. It might also turn some away from listening, which I’ve seen in a couple of other reviews. Nevertheless, great work being done!
2019-07-23
5. Rambling - I love all of Exodus Cry Podcasts but sometimes I turn it off because Beij rambles sooooo much! You are repeating almost everything the guest is saying and wasting time that they could be saying more and we could be learning more. It happens on all you podcasts and some that I have shared my friends don’t even listen bc it’s so annoying. Please hold back from rambling!!!

6. October th episode - Love this podcast! I was reading the description of the October th episode and excited to listen to Gene speak about shame. When I played the episode it was actually a repeat of the previous episode with Don’s update on Cambodia (which was also great to listen to!). Just wanted to let you know so you can go back and upload the correct interview for October th. Thank you for your obedience, passion and all you do for trafficking victims.

7. Interview With Shay - The degree of hope that this converstaion gives my heart for our culture and it's utter sexual brokeness is personally pivotal. It is so tempeting to become skeptical in the fight against sexual exploitation, yet stories Shay's and others you feature here, tell us to keep hoping and fighting and loving and forgiving The work that Benjamin and Laila are doing here is stellar! Keep it up!!!

8. Well done. - Thank you for putting the time and effort into these podcasts! I love listening to your work. The long .- hr podcasts are my favorite! I always am left with thought provoking items to
ponder upon and to engage others with as I bring up this topic and as the Lord reveals areas that I need to work on in my own heart! This is my favorite podcast!

9. Informative AND Insightful. - This podcast is so informative & insightful. It’s not just intellectually stimulating (loaded with experiential & Godly wisdom), but the hosts engage w/listeners on a deep level, and most of the time that means their vulnerability and transparency is off the charts. The stories are real. I always take away so much from the -on- interviews with experts in specific fields related to human trafficking. I’ve thought before, just listening to these are like, taking a college course on social justice, economics or sociology - worthy of college credits! So I feel blessed, as a listener. Thank you Exodus Cry. I am a better, more equipped fighter on the frontlines because of you.

10. Incredible Resource - Ben and Laila balance the topic of sex trafficking with the demand for justice it deserves, but also the appropriate amount of compassion ofter overlooked. If you are looking for an educated, deep dive into the complexities of the commercial sex industry, this is the podcast for you. Be prepared for your eyes to be opened, your perspectives to shift, and a calling to join the fight.

11. Incredible resource for modern abolitionists - Benjamin Nolot and Laila Mickelwait have much to say on the topic of sex trafficking, prostitution, and the commercial sex industry—and rightly so. As many may know, Benjamin spent years crafting a documentary on sex trafficking—Nefarious: Merchant of Souls—and Laila is an avid researcher/writer who has studied these issues in depth, and whose work has been featured in major news outlets. They're a dynamic duo in this eye-opening podcast!

1. smart and heartwarming - Two honest guys that have a great report and care for each other, give commentary on how to move through this life better. The most recent episode with Fr. Michael Himes is one of my all time favorites of any podcast I’ve ever listened to. They can get a bit woke for my taste at times, but they are so fair minded, it’s not annoying, it’s fair game.

1. Honest and Incredibly Helpful - I work on a very small team in a non-profit based in Washington DC and oftentimes its been difficult to find resources and communities to connect with. Rhea’s podcast has been an incredible respite in terms distilling some of the challenges I’ve experienced from a development perspective. It’s a wonderful listen throughout the day and has actually become a key totem in my routine as I continue to do the work. Thank you Rhea!

2. Rhea is brilliant! - This podcast is awesome and VERY beneficial for those in the fundraising space. Rhea knows her stuff (I mean, she did just write a book about it!), and shares from personal experience how fundraisers can level up on their strategy! She is so thoughtful and passionate, and I highly recommend this podcast for anyone in the non-profit space!

3. Incredibly helpful insight & tactical advice - Thank you for the episode on starting a major gift program! I'm a first time ED, early in my non-profit career, and our organization is just about a year old, so it was the perfect podcast to listen to as I head into . The cultivation journey can feel intimidating, but your breakdown and concrete examples were extremely helpful. Thank you for your insight and doing what you do!

4. Overflowing with valuable insight and actionable tips for any impact-driven professional! - The Nonprofit Lowdown is packed with valuable insights and helpful tips. I really love that the guests are ever day experts as opposed to professional speakers. They always seem to share relatable struggles and offer actionable advice. Rhea Wong has found the perfect balance between letting the guest lead with their topic and facilitating the conversation. You can tell that she does a lot of leg work on the back end to prep for the show and ensure every episode is different and loaded with valuable information. I find myself hitting pause to make a note so often that I’ve stopped listening to this podcast while driving. It’s that good!

5. One of my go-to favs! - I love Rhea’s podcast for the insights into the sector, the dynamic and diverse voices and topics featured, and the humor and forward thinking highlighted in each episode. Nonprofit Lowdown has quickly become one of my go-to favs. I feel like I’m hanging out with Rhea & Friends when I’m listening.

6. Inspiring, Fantastic Content - Not A Passive Listen - I often listen to podcasts throughout my workday or while driving and I find myself stopping my multitasking to take notes, pausing this podcast to make a voice memo with a new idea (big or small). Rhea is a great interviewer, the convos move quickly and the topics are relevant and inspiring.
2020-12-08
7. Don’t Miss - I don’t listen to many podcasts and am new to Rhea Wong and Nonprofit Lowdown. It is first rate and can’t miss if you are in the nonprofit world. The topics are current and important, the guests are expert, and, most significant, Rhea is an outstanding interviewer. She is knowledgeable and prepared, asks tough questions, gives her guests space to answer, and follows up so each episode becomes an engaging conversation. Best in class. Full stop.
2020-11-22
8. So helpful! - I am new to the nonprofit world. I’ve only been a founder and Executive Director for four years of a very small nonprofit. This is the best nonprofit information podcast that I have found. I look forward to it every Thursday. She’s not preachy or self-absorbed and always has great guests!
2020-09-03
9. An expert view - I’d worked with Rhea in her previous role at Breakthrough New York and always admired her drive and enthusiasm - both of which shine through in her podcast. She’s always insightful and looks for ways to bring out the best in people - and that comes through in her discussions with guests. She knows the nonprofit world well - the challenges and opportunities that are always around the corner - and so she’s a trusted voice!
2020-02-10
10. Entertaining, insightful and actionable! - Whether you’re well established as a non-profit executive, or just getting started identifying the impact you want to bring to the world through your organization - this is a must-listen podcast for you! Rhea does an incredible job leading conversations that cover a huge breadth of topics related to the ins and outs of building a thriving non-profit, and life you can be proud of - from leaders who’ve actually experienced success themselves. Highly recommend listening and subscribing!

11. Must listen - smart, inspiring, and fun! - An incredible resource - part best friend, part guru, part visionary social justice crusader. Rhea knows her stuff and breaks it down for the rest of us. Who knew fundraising, leadership transitions, radical candor and nonprofit finances could be made so accessible and empowering? Don't miss this!

12. A must-listen for all non-profit professionals! - This podcast is still new, but already hitting it out of the park. The guests and topics are wide-ranging across the non-profit spectrum, and each episode gets down to the real needs and experiences that mission-driven people have and want to hear about from each other. 1. Excellent Wilderness Cast & Host - There aren't a lot of wilderness experts & serious advocates out there anymore beyond the hashtag wannabes. Adam, his guests & this cast are seemngly the last of them (along with Rewilding Earth). I wish there was a Wild Earth style publication I could flip thru for these but the audio version can be listened to over & over too. Good stuff

2. My new favorite podcast - I love that this podcast focuses on rewilding efforts big and small. In America we tend to focus on conservation efforts out West. One of my favorite podcasts so far was the one done in Ohio. You don’t have to live in California to be a conservationist; small efforts add up. I thought I knew a lot about conservation, but this podcast has already taught me a lot. Now there are more places I want to visit starting with the Ark of Appalachia!

1. This will help your show tremendously! - Please let your guest tell there encounters in full before you ask questions. Try not to interrupt unless needed. When ask so many questions during encounter telling they get distracted and loose there place. More importantly, your listeners want to hear your guests without your interruptions all the time. Please consider. Wes does it perfect. Thx.

4. Great podcast - Really enjoy this podcast. Very Intriguing. I am fairly new to this podcast and have binging on it for close to a week now. Listened to the Bonus Episode with Ron Morehead and I just want to say that you are wrong when you say religion would go out the window if the gov or smithsonian didn't hide the skulls. If anything.... it would give us even more proof that God and his word are TRUE!
