1. My favorite so far. - I am absolutely loving the character building. I love the Grace and Hudson dynamic. I was pretty upset when Grace and Jaxon were unmated. But honestly Hudson is a better and more supportive partner for her in the way she needs. This book had so many great chapters and took place in some awesome locations. I really loved it. It seems this series only gets better and better.

2. Covet - This entire series has held me captivated from the very start. I simply cannot put it down, I’ve read the first three books multiple times & I can’t get enough! I’m so excited for court! You never know what to expect with these books the curves are out of no where & are totally unexpected!

3. Loved All three books and counting the days until Court - I read the first book and really loved it but accepted it as kind of cheesy because of some of the lingo used. But it grew on me and made me realize that I really appreciate the classic YA dark fantasy romance between teenagers being inverted into something that’s still whimsical and fun and the characters are believably teenagers who are kind of cringe. As soon as Hudson was introduced in the second book I loved his character so much and his and graces dynamic so much that I was holding out hope for him like crazy and I think that the writing accomplished that really well. The fantasy mate trope was used really well to create some awesome romance drama that actually seemed grounded in human emotion and healthy relationship dynamics. I love the way the friend group feels real and I really really love all the characters. I’m really hoping for a Jaxon and Flint love story in the next book because it was TEASED when jaxon was checking our flint and also they are supposed to be mates and now Jax has a dragon heart. CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK OH MY GOD

4. I’m OBSESSED with this series - I literally could not put this series down. I would swap back and forth between the book and audible just so I wouldn’t have to stop this story. It’s my new favorite series! The dynamic between Grace and Hudson… S W O O N. February can’t come fast enough so I can read the finale to the story!!!

5. i’ve read tons of books but this is my favorite - i love this book. period. when i first read crave i wouldn’t allow myself to read crush and covet because i knew there was going to be a love triangle and i HATE love triangles! but this… this was golden and i’m absolutely living for it! this is your motivation to read this book! hudson is amazing and the humor is chefs kiss
who am i kidding this series is chefs kiss this book… is a religion

6. Just don’t. - I LOVED the first book so much and the way Grace and Jaxson’s relationship blossomed. But to completely obliterate it in the third book was devastating. I can’t even bring myself to finish the book because it was so bad. If you loved the relationship between Jaxson and Grace do yourself a favor and DO NOT read this book.

7. Amazing book - amazing series unforgettable experience - Perfect. Just amazing how one frikin chapter of a book u thought would be boring turned out to have the most amazing story and setting and character development. I loved how the author made it so humorous and modern like the relationship between Jaxon grace and Hudson is like the vampire diaries and the setting and katmere academy is like legacies. I could legitimately read this over and over again recommend !!!

8. This book keeps you interested - When I first started reading the series I thought it was going to be a boring book but now that I’m here on book three I was completely wrong. I enjoyed the character development and how each situation was so different and how the outcome turned out. I truly love this book. It’s my favorite series now and I definitely recommend to give this series a chance because I did and I absolutely loved it. Definitely can’t wait for the next two books to come. It’s perfect for me

9. Average - I started this series because people compared it to twilight. The first book was a bit cringe too me in the language that is utilized, but the story line was alright. The second book was a bit better, but still the language and writing style of this book is very immature. This third one was a let down though if I am honest. The plot and the writing are at a low level and overall it’s just really cringe to me

10. So good! - This is an amazing book. So much happened in here and it’s all super great. You never know what will happen next and when it does, you never would have expected. Almost had a heart attack when flint almost died but hey, a good plot twist makes the book better! Highly recommended. And throughout the book, I fell in love with Hudson a million times! In the arena I was close to tears because of him. Hace or is it Gudson or Grason

11. okay - I liked the first too books decently enough, this third book didn’t really catch my interest until / through. Grace being faithful to one brother then up and changing her mind after telling herself she was sure, then flopping back again went a bit far for my taste. And everything with the dragon court seemed like it should have been a deleted scene besides the hotel room. Slap this with a good C since the ending was nicely done.

12. O.M.G. - i got this book and read it within the day. I’ve cried throughout and cannot waitttt for the next one. please write more series like this!!! and also having a spin-off of the vega family would be awesome and give a whole lot more insight on just how broken and battered these boys are. also i lowkey ship macy and eden
2021-03-22
13. Amazing!! - I couldn’t stop. I ignored everyone just so I can finish the book. I cried, laughed, and got really really excited. I would recommend these books to anyone. But the ending is what got me. I need more. And it’s a bummer I have to wait till September to read the other one. I do agree with another review on the insight of the brothers and how it was growing up. And I want to know more what happened with Hudson and grace when grace was stuck in stone. Hopefully the last book will give me closer I need. Overall amazing!!

14. I am obsessed wonderful!! - Love it!!!! Hudson and grace relationship is wonderful and Hot! I can’t wait until they get married. I want them to Stay together No more changing Mates!! I was crying when she finally choose Hudson to love & he deserves it!!!! They have to stay together in the last book or I will be one piss off fan!!!!

15. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! - i love this series soooo much!!! i’m going to cry when the last book is released please read the series you won’t regret it this book is sooo good SPOILER ALERT hudson and grace have some moments in the book and i’m living for it!!!!!!! i love hudson and grace together they make each other better people i love this book i love all of them i love tracy wolf for writing them!!
2021-03-05
16. repetitive and random - so as for repetitive: i think i read a few of the same interactions like times ?? it was just never ending. also grace’s ambiguous attitude was getting annoying. she just acted stupid. ——SPOILER WARNING——
as for random: the ending where the unkillable beast is ALSO grace’s mate is just so random and honestly annoying at this point. i bet in the next book she’ll feel sorry for him so she considers leaving hudson again even after allllllll the drama it took to get there with jaxon. honestly this was so disappointing and really just like stupid. yeah the book was enjoyable but not for plot reasons. only for hudson, macy, rent, luca, flint.

1. Speechless - Amazing! I’ve never seen these many reviews before that I can’t even write myself, except relate to. This series was good. Both the movies and books got me on edge. The type of fandom that will have you chewing your nails on how the next part will turn out. Its so ethereal and beautiful how Isabella and Edward’s lives turn out. The emotions, the characters—you’ll be drawn in the pages! I Highly recommend you read this book. Although I do agree with some that it was creepy and highly over the top at this time. But Bella? Your the second half of my soul!

2. Wow - (Spoilers)
I read this book to make fun of it but in all reality, it was an incredible teen romance. I love creepy and odd romances so I definitely enjoyed it (though that’s not necessarily saying they were in a very healthy relationship). And I truly enjoyed the characters (like Jasper ), I can understand why people dislike the plot and say it’s boring or poorly written but it wasn’t written to aim at adults it was aimed toward teenage girls, and if you look at it from that perspective it is really good. Also, I don't think Stephenie Meyer was saying that your life is meaningless without a boyfriend I think she was just saying that a teenager with her first love feels like their significant other is the best thing in the world. But I'm just a bookworm with some ideas so, please take this as only my opinion! ^^

3. OMG - So I started to read this book and I was just so bored, but as i got into the book i was like OMG this book is sooooo good because of all the twists and turns and I couldn’t predict how the book was going to end and i NEED the next book soo bad!! To anyone who is reading this review You should read this book

4. / (spoiler alerts) - I personally thought this book was really good. I absolutely loved all the twists and turns (like when James tricked Bella about kidnapping her mother). I couldn’t predict what was going to happen, ever, which is a quality I love in books. Also Stephanie Meyers’ writing was not basic yet easy to understand, with high emotions and intense scenes. I also liked Bella and Edward’s romance, though I do agree with some people that Bella needs to chill about saying how gorgeous Edward is every five seconds, especially after she was okay with him watching her sleep, but you know what you do you queen cuz who am I to stand in the way of true (and creepy) love?!? I also agree it was slow in some parts, especially in the hospital at the end like WE GET IT YOU LIKE EACH OTHER SRSLY WE’VE HAD ENOUGH But I liked Bella’s character a lot: she is funny, sassy, brave and highly relatable. I also liked Edward and his sensitive side, and I LOVED the rest of the Cullen fam (vamfamlife) my order of favorite to least favorite being Alice, then Carlisle, then Jasper, followed by Esme, Emmett then Rosalie. I’m very curious about Rosalie and her character development and why she dislikes Bella. A character I didn’t love, however, was Billy. I was extremely annoyed with him, like BUTT OUT OF BELLAS LOVE LIFE BROSKITO she’s not even you’re daughter!!! Also, him saying “We’ll be watching you” at the end was extremely creepy. Bella, that’s two people who have watched you without your consent!!
And though I like Jacob(he’s sweet, nice and funny) and this might go against popular opinion, IM ON TEAM EDWARD BABY!!! BEDWARD FOREVER! (Dang I can’t think of a great ship name for Edward and Bella their names are not very compatible haha) Anywho I’m excited to read New Moon to see what’s in store for our characters!

5. I think about this series alot - This book came out during middle and high school for me and I was at a very vulnerable age. I was definitely going though an “emo” phase and once I read this book, I was hooked. This series changed my life. I still think about these books as an adult. One of my first true loves, and I’d kill to read them for the first time again back when I was . Twilight forever.
2022-07-18
6. Genuinely surprised i liked it this much - I was in high school as the movies were coming out, so this was perfectly geared for my age group. I rebelled against their popularity, however, and I spent the past decade adamant that these books were stupid, I’d never read or watch them, they were badly written and overrated, etc etc. A younger friend of mine recently convinced me to give them a chance, so I did. I’m honestly glad I did. It’s not the most complex of stories, the writing is fairly simple. Edward and Bella both have their fair share of annoying and weird moments. But for all the ridiculous parts, it’s also got a lot of entertaining comedic moments, sweet and sad moments that make you ache (Carlisle’s backstory moved me to actual tears), and overall it’s an enjoyable experience. Stephanie Meyer certainly created a world with enough lore to support her story. There’s plenty of novels out there with much less structure. And lastly. Team Edward, team Jacob, who cares? It’s Carlisle for me, all the way

7. Meh - I liked the movies because it had a lot of action and details the movies are sometimes very inappropriate so that’s were I didn’t like it and the books are so packed with details the books are so big and give me head aches and the author uses inappropriate words it’s kinda disturbing and gross
2022-02-01
8. Great - Great first entry to a saga and had great development that i think is what Meyer does best. Loved this book and i’ll always hold it in a special place for turning me on to this saga. Bella is such a character i realized i related with but although empathize with. story’s great, characters are great, and the setting is great. Highly recommend getting started on this saga

9. Twi-hard forever - BEST BOOK EVER I absolutely love this series and it’s great. I’ve read this book like times and I still find it great. The later and earlier parts are a little slow but it is still a really great book. And I do feel they portrayed Bella a little bland in the movie but she has so much more personality in the book. Best book ever
2021-12-08
10. twilight is the best book i’ve EVER read - omgggg where do i start?? i love twilight soooooo much!!!!!!!!! jacob is soooo much hotter than edward. i mean, like, look at jake’s abs. they’re wayyy hotter than edward’s pale, vampire body. i mean robert pattinson is FINE, but he doesn’t compare to taylor lautner, so, yeah, read the book
2021-10-11
11. so G O O D - Amazing!! I wish the movie was more like the book. Only little things, but all those little things add up. You get to see Bella for who she really is behind all that “awkwardness” & Edward. He’s nowhere as serious as they make him in the movie. He’s that goofy, caring & playful boyfriend who’s crazy in love also & not afraid to show it in the book
2021-05-16
12. Love it - So I watched the movies first and feel in love with recommend for all people that love romance and it was the best i Evan bought dolls from it and the trivia game so good and the best actors I think Jackson rathbone, Ashley Greene, Nikki reed, and kellan lutz should be in more. Movies love the first one and Robert and Kristen are my hero’s and Nikki reed
2021-04-07
13. I’m addicted (seriously BUY THE BOOK) - I fell in love with the book instantly. This book is so amazing in many many ways and it made me go into reading more. Stephanie Meyer is truly a genius cause her writing made me buy THE WHOLE SERIES! so incredible. (team edward btw...love jacob, but he’s not really my type y’know?)
2021-01-08
14. Slightly Incoherent Rant Enclosed - I’m kinda shocked. I grew up with the movies. (Ya know, those movies where everything’s grey instead of green, you can FEEL Robert Pattinson’s irritation and Bella is this shaking mess % of the time? Yeah?) Ok, so I went into this thinking “This is gonna be so flippin cringey, isn’t it?” But I’m s h o c k e d. Bella isn’t a normal heroine. She doesn’t walk with natural poise, she has low self-esteem, she’s emotional, she’s clumsy, needles make her nauseous, she’s not indestructible, she’s not perfect, etc.
But she’s vulnerable—human—and frankly much stronger than I am in many ways. (especially at seventeen!) I found myself relating to her—rooting for her—more often than not, and I’m pleased with that. Edward is still... Puzzling (and entirely in need of Respect Women Juice ) but he’s endearing and not even HALF as creepy as Robert portrayed him to be. He was protective and kind; always, always, looking after Bella’s well-being. Being Team Jacob from the start made this book (and will likely make every book after it) very freakin’ painful. Just... throwing that out there. (Did y’all know that when we meet him he’s this tiny year old??? Like... he’s a literal baby and idk how I feel about it) And lastly
THE. CULLEN. FAMILY.
Wow, I love them. Gosh, they’re so amazing, complex and adorable??? But they’re vampires??? I just flails I love all of them. So, in short, this book was amazing. It’s only flaw, really, was how often Bella remarked on how ‘godlike’ or ‘gorgeous’ Edward was. I got tired of that really quick. Otherwise, it was entirely amazing: I gib /. (coulda used more Wholesome-Vampiric-Family-Moments )

15. Absolutely Recommend!! - I have been prolonging the time before reading this book and now I do not know what was stopping me. I absolutely love this book! I loved the extra detail and scenes that were not always shown in the movie! This book brought the Twilight series back to life in my mind. You definitely would not be wasting time reading this fantastic book!

16. For every single fudging hater - This book is a romance novel. So if you complaining that the book has to much romance, THATS THE FRICKING GENRE.Just cause something has Vampires and Werewolves does not mean it has to be FANTASY. And for those who say that Edward is a stalker. He’s. a. VAMPIRE. What do you expect???? And if your complaining in general. We do not need to hear it!!! Being negative will never get you anywhere in life. And if you don’t believe me, fine! Be negative, but I’m gonna say I told ya so when everyone is doing better then you. So, my message, short and sweet is, “If your complaining about this book? Get a actual life, and be considerate of others” I rate twilight five of five AS WELL AS THE WHOLE SERIES.

17. Cheesy, uptight and spills like ketchup - Alright i know that many people and film critics on I-tunes are going to ask, Hey Nicholas Becerra why do you like the twilight book? is it accraute to the movie itself well? Twilight Hater didn't play fair with this book and iam not saying the Twilight novel written by Stephenie Meyer the greatest authors of all time (saying that sarcastically) wrote this novel with such delight confidence and heart put into this fantasy love story that reminds a all time classic to all teenage fan girls and rooting for the hot one! Twilight follows Bella Swan moving into a small town of Forks with his cop father Charlie Swan, Bella is about to start High School with such good heart and happyness into creating a new life term. Then Bella meets the myesterious -year old vampire Edward Cullen who is stuck in his teenage -year old self. The plot of the novel is cheesy and to unmissiable for a new fandom girl upon first reading and this movie is filled with cliches and cheesy writting that this so-called "greatest novelist of all time" can create so many cliches for a romantic fantasy that maybe other women want to live the glamrious relationship with vampires instead of handcuffs if you know what iam saying! When i read this novel it was all what i think about pointless romance story that dewlls into chessy entertainment and cliche diagloue upon Edward and Bella. There was a time when Vampire's were the mean streets of the darkly hell and can live up almost were the world ends. And vampire's back then were scary and quite the exotic creatures but then when this novel got adapted into a feature-length film it runied the vampire brand and what made a vampire so mysterious shallow. The romance is still cheesy and shallow through other plotpoints that didn't make any sense to me or anybody else reading it, but Edward was quite the interesting mysterious character and didn't live up to the hype for the story but i couldn't stop flipping the pages because sometimes the novel's tone gets intense and realistc to the point were Stephenie Meyer is trying to make you feel that your'e actually there and for sure i wasn't tricked from Meyers clever intensity and reasltic no-love lost for to much character development and wooden chimestry between Bella and Cullen or it's just Bella being dullionsoual and imanged Cullen and her relationship with him that felt jetlacking at some points. I felt that Twilight isn't just a vampire fantasy filled to the brim with intense moments and cliche development that is shacton it's certains around Bella a free-spirted teenager who after abandoning her mother and moving in with his cop father meaning that Charlie and Bella's mother are divorced and that Bella had a long-lasting dream about vampire's which makes her crazy and imanged Cullen within her head and her thoughts about her parents relationships so that's all i have to say about Twillight it's a intense romance fantasy with tons of cliches and heart pounding hailrious moments that felt awkward for myself and uncomfortable at some points. rating-/

18. Amazing Book! - I have never really been interested in reading books but when I picked up this book, I couldn’t put it down for two days! Yes, I finished this amazing book within two days from starting it because I absolutely loved it. This book is so detailed that it brings the story to life way more than you would think. In conclusion, this book is a must get if you are interested in reading a very detailed and beautiful love story! This book is perfect for any young adult, teenager, or adult! If you want a good book to read, read Twilight!

19. It’s not that bad, but it’s not the best - I personally thought this book was enjoyable to read. I don’t understand some people who are hating on this book because some are acting like this book is supposed to be some metaphorical, deep, English class book that is just awful. It’s not supposed to be like that, it’s a teen fantasy book that’s meant for people who enjoy the supernatural romance books. Although I will agree the romance is basically most of the plot. The characters seem a little undeveloped and the constant bickering between Edward and Bella in the beginning didn’t make much sense. But overall it was alright

20. started it as a joke, but loved it - i started twilight as a joke, but i became unintentionally in love with both this book and edward Cullen. The plot is good, their romance is sweet, character development spot on. This is one of those series’ that you HAVE to read before u die tho. just try it! ;))))

1. Amazing - I started this book not knowing if I would finish it due to the uncertainty that Jaxon and Grace would end up together. By the end of the book I was sobbing my freaking eyes out. Tracy Wolff is a phenomenal author, keeping me captivated with every chapter. Really letting us develop a bond between us and the characters. If you are unsure about reading this series, don’t be.

2. A real page turner! - Overall, a wonderful read. There were some parts that really annoyed me, like Grace completely ignoring Jaxon just to argue with H out loud over and over again. Especially when you could tell that’s what he wanted her to do. I felt like sometimes the story progressed so slowly. But more than halfway I really started to get into it and enjoy the story line. I absolutely love how this one ended, and can’t wait for the next book!

3. Good teen vampire romance , lacking a little sizzle - I really did like crave and crush . I loved the authors chapter titles , witty. I enjoyed the stories , characters , description of the school and all paranormal students . I just wish the live story grew as much as the other events , developed more . Not sure if I’ll move on to book - a little bored for all this waiting
2022-01-19
4. Book Two - I liked this one much more than the first book in the series. There was a lot of character development and I LOVED how Grace learned she could fight for herself. I love Hudson’s character and I am itching for more background history on it. HOWEVER, I still feel like the writing is a little young and not as well put as it could be. The sentences definitely flow better together than they did in the last book, but they could be better constructed in some small places. But thats my only critique. Overall, I loved reading this and will be continuing the series.

5. Amazing! - This book was so unexpected and so many turning points and conflicts! I could read this book over and over and never get tired of it! Grace makes it seem like anything is possible and shows us how she proves she can do it making any female reader believe in themselves proving we don’t need anyone to watch or protect over us we’re strong enough to do it. But by far Hudson is my favorite pushing her to do better making her feel strong and being selfless. Amazing book can’t wait for book . Btw the ending was crazy! Loved it!

6. Wow - This book started off a bit slow for me, and sadly I didn’t feel the same love for Jaxon and Grace as I had in the last book.. but when we finally got the inner dialogue between Hudson and Grace this book did a total . Immediately you could see the great chemistry there and it adds layers of depth and intensity this book needed. The build up to the end of this book was equally heartwarming and nerve wracking, it kept me reading for hours. All I can say is teamhudson babyyyyyy

7. One of my new favorite books - I am not kidding when I say that I was sobbing at the end. I feel bad for anyone that ships Jaxon and Grace because that ships sinks in this book. The banter between Hudson and Grace is amazing, and I don’t know how I could make it better. I feel like I need a novella about what happened in between Crave and Crush( when she was stone). I will definitely be keep rereading this series for years to come.

8. Best book ive read in a long time!!! - It was soooooo good!!!!! It was funny it made me cry, which is a big thing since i NEVER.... EVER... cry.... so ya.... i have a vampire fedish, spurred by my love of Twilight, and i was looking for a book like this. Even though its about a vampire and a human girl like twilight, it cant be more different. At the beginning of the second book it turns out she isn’t a witch, which is what I thought had happened at the end of the last book, shes a gargoyle..... I didn’t even see that coming. The twists and turns gave me wip lash but it just got more and more intriguing and infuriating, in a good way, as the book went on! But warning if you are team Jaxon im sorry but your love is going to be dashed......... mine was and i am emotionally scared...... like for the rest of my life.... but if i were to go back in time and be able to choose to reread it over again for the first time i would..... over and over.... so ya other than the Hudson, Grace, and Jaxon triangle, and my i say i used to love triangles like in twilight and stuff but thats gone, it was great!!! I have to say i know whats gonna happen with the triangle and its making me kinda mad, but as long as you can live with the emotional scars read this book!!!! i have mixed feelings about this book but please read it it is a beautiful book with beautiful writing and it was so intriguing. So thank you Mrs. Wolff for this beautiful, fascinating, desolating, heart-renting book.

9. So many emotions - I balled my eyes out. I laughed my a off and so many other emotions I went through during this book. SO many plot twist, so much adventure, and so much love and chemistry. I absolutely couldn’t put it down and I’m sooooo excited for the next book in the series like wow, I thought the first book destroyed me till I read this one. /. What an AMAZING whirlwind of emotions I just went through in Crush.

10. Amazing - I read crave when quarantine first started and let me tell you after finishing it I was a mess because I needed more. Now that we got crush everything changed every character we met every development has been excellent. This book never not shocked me. Their was a few things in the beginning were I guessed and I was right but the end was a twist I never saw coming. I will never not recommend this book well now series. I will see y’all in the next book! ( i was really hoping i wouldn’t change my mind about Jax but I gotta say after the last chapter things took a turn to Hudson side )

1. Ok, I love this book - I keep seeing people making comments about hating this book, and I’m like… well, if you hated it why did you read it? And some of them are making me go a little hysterical like, if you hate it so fricken much why are you taking so much time to write a bad review? Anyways I love this book ( Team Edward!!!)

2. Great book but a little bit of a cliffhanger - This book is great I especially enjoyed the wedding and the part where she’s adjusting to being a vampire. Unfortunately I saw the movie first and whenever I try to imagine renesme all I can think of is the crap CGI baby they used. They need to make another book because it was a bit of a cliffhanger because we know that the voltori will come after them again and they will have to defeat them and also another reason she should make another book is so they can meet Fred from Short second life. All and all it’s a great book she just needs to make another one

3. Never get tired of it! - I read these books about twice a year ( not including the newest edition (the fifth book) that I still have yet to lay my eager eyes upon) the storyline is so well written with love and care for every detail, and character and their mindset of things. I recently read all four books that I own in three days and when I read the last page I actually felt remorse. You will defiantly laugh, cry, smile, and and have your eyes glued to the pages just as I did. I really cried at certain parts, and laughed and smiled throughout the book. (It’s very sarcastic) you will never be able to set it down once you pick it up. The carictoes have so much life and are most cortainly not shallow. Just insecure like all people. I read these books, first four to this one, in three days, This is recommended to everyone. I am team Edward and team Jakob depending on my mood….both of them are amazingly passionate in all that they do, I hope to see a sequel I. These books where we get to see Renesme’s side of the story, and see her friendship with Jacob grow as she does, and watch it transform into another unlikely love story as it was with her parents, Edward and Bella. Idk what happened with the movies tho, I could hardly make it through the first twenty minutes, in the movies the parts are not played well, the actors that were chosen are typically amazing actors, but for this movie they were poorly chosen. The movies are a total waste of time and energy. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Save yourself from my mistake.

4. AMAZING! - First of all amazing story line. I enjoyed turning every page and was disappointed when the pages ended. I do agree that this is for _mature audiences_ there is some... older content however it was lovely to read. I do think that instead of Jacob’s portion in the book you could’ve switched it with Edward. After all he was the on who SPOILERS changed her into a vampire. I would like to know what was going through his head then. Totally love the books and hope you keep writing them. As soon as I get started you don’t see me for a few days! Team EDWARD!!!

5. My Monster Boyfriend: How Twilight Disrespects its Female Monsters - There's this sub-genre in romance, which YouTuber Lindsey Ellis called "My Monster Boyfriend." It's basically a metaphor of how society thinks the gender roles for men and women should be in romantic relationships. If you look at stories where a human and monster fall in love, there's about an % chance that the human is a woman, and the monster is a man. These "monster boyfriends" all possess the same characteristics: severe anger issues, high sex drive, obsessive possession, unyielding devotion, and raw strength. These are traits that are often coded as positive qualities in men. The human woman is usually portrayed as weak, helpless, kinda dumb, and frequently persuaded by other (human) men who want to take advantage of her. This is how the story justifies the monster's terrible behavior towards the woman and other people. There's also another love interest who's a human man. He's usually the opposite of the monster; kind, gentle, and open with his emotions. However, he's usually seen as inferior to the monster or isn't a "real man." Just like how society shames men for avoiding conflict by walking away from a fight or apologizing. Men (at least in fiction) are often praised for acting like they "own" their partners by threatening the lives of any men that so much as look at them. There's also the trope of the male monsters having an insatiable desire to kill/eat the woman, but he can control himself due to the power of love. This is an example of the harmful belief that it's a woman's job to "fix" the man. Also, the reason monster and human are in love is usually because the monster sees the human as a helpless child in need of protection. The human is willing to put up with the monster's abusive behavior because she's thankful for him saving her life. Romance stories where the monster is a woman and the human is a man are almost the polar opposite. First of all, the woman is always the stereotypically "sexy" type of monster, such as vampires, mermaids, succubi, and witches. The common trait with female monsters is they're virgins who are so overwhelmingly beautiful that they drive men crazy ("Born Sexy Yesterday" - Pop Culture Detective). They are also helpless and need protection due to being pursued by other men. These men are usually other monsters who intend to marry her (generally by arranged marriage), monster hunters, or government agents that want to experiment on her. The monster woman may be physically stronger than the human man, but her ignorance of the human world makes her dependent on him. The monster woman's one goal, besides survival, is usually to marry and have a baby with the human male and be a happy domesticated housewife. This is usually the catalyst that drives the human man to protect her. The reason why the monster woman is in love with the human man is usually because he's the first man to love her for her and not just her looks, or she's infatuated by his human traits (despite him having no redeemable qualities). Twilight is a perfect example of the "My Monster Boyfriend" romance sub-genre. All of the male monsters have the same obsessive and possessive traits, yet are treated as normal and even attractive. As for the female monsters, the one that stuck out to me the most were Leah and Rosalie. What separates them from other monster women in romance stories is they are both demonized and perpetually tormented (both by the author and the characters) because they can't have children, and therefore aren't seen as real women. Leah is ostracized and treated like a freak because she's the first female werewolf, which made her infertile. Because the werewolves share a hive mind, she can't think about her "feminine problems," or else it'll make the men uncomfortable. Not to mention because the alpha of the pack refuses to allow anyone to leave, she has to stay and watch the love of her life be happily married to her cousin. Also, her dad died because he had a heart attack when he watched her first transform. Rosalie is given the mean girl treatment because she didn't immediately accept Bella as part of the family, rightfully questioned why she had to risk her life for a stranger, and she's the only character whose backstory involves rape. Rosalie was still slightly less demonized than Leah since she was rich, white, feminine, and wanted to protect Bella's baby. Twilight's weirdest aspect was how the male monsters could pass on their genes, but the female monsters couldn't get pregnant. Bella got special treatment since she was able to give birth and become a vampire. It's almost as if Stephanie Mayer (and by proxy a lot of romance authors) was trying to say that male monsters are the peak of masculinity and female monsters are abominations that are not real women. But that's just speculation. In case it wasn't clear, I did not like this story. It's another example of romanticizing abuse.

6. BEST BOOK - (This is coming from a year old) An incredible book. I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie Myer’s writing and how much emotion it causes me. I CRIED SO HARD IN THE SECOND BOOK! I read the whole saga in under days, and I never had a better reason for sleep deprivation lol. / recommend

7. Somewhat balanced opinion - I can see both sides of the issue. Twilight is silly, full of typos, illogical, self-contradictory and pointless. Twilight is also relatable, addicting, interesting, entertaining, romantic, and impossible to put down. If you can see past the problems, you’ll love it. If you can’t see past them, you’ll hate it. I relate to Bella really well :) I especially hate the typos and especially love the Cullen family. Team Jacob!

8. Magical - When I was younger, I hated twilight a cause I thought it was scary. But later on, I listened to the song, a thousand years and that’s when I fell in love with twilight. I fell in love with the magical world Stephenie Meyer created and I can never thank her enough for the joy she has given me

9. Finishing - I have watched the movies before I read the books. The books are better but one thing I didn’t like was the different parts in these books. I think they should’ve described the fight scene like how it was in movie. Other than that the wedding, pregnancy, and the Vultori were an amazing edition to the series.
2020-07-28
10. I expected better- (spoiler warning) - !SPOILERS! It was an okay book, but I’m very disappointed with the ending. I feel like all that build up for a fight ended up being a huge let down then there was no action. I feel like Bella should’ve sent Jacob and Renessmee away, and the epilogue been from Jacob’s POV about how much Renessmee has grown up, and how the two of them are finally returning to the rest of the family now that it’s safe. Another thing, why does Bella have to be so hrny in the first half???

11. Best series ever - The most amazing series I have ever read.
You would never see me hold a book or read so fast. My mom was amazed that I had finished the series in less then months. It made me heavy hearted that I can’t read them again cause I don’t have all the books. And the series had ended. Lucky Stephenie Meyer is making a next book. Can’t wait to read it!!!!! Just because I seem I’m always series doesn’t mean I don’t get excited about things. This series was one of My happy places

12. Honestly the best book I’be ever read. - I’ve always had a passion for big books and I had watched the movies as a child. (Yes, I know they weren’t appropriate for me at the time but I didn’t really understand, my mom was watching them mostly.) I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I couldn’t put the book down and every page made my heart beat faster and I think I maybe forgot to breath for a few moments. In the emotional parts, I couldn’t help but cry. It kept me guessing and I thought about the story /. Love, drama, action, mystery all in one book! What’s not to love? It’s hard to believe some people do not like this series. (I try not to be judgemental though, I try to think of it from their point of view.) It breaks my heart to know that there aren’t any more books because I really love it. To be honest, Im kinda sad to know it can’t be reality!! Overall, a very enjoyable and good series. But really, I’m reading them again! Team Edward: (as the lovely priest said:) “as long as we both shall live.”

13. Just meh - There could have been so much potential to this book, and the rest of the series. But it just ended up failing. Grammatical errors, shallow characters, obvious, slow plot line. The list goes on. I mean really? There could have been some interesting plot twists, or actually a big fight scene that happens at the end. Instead, we get a build up to a climatic event, and it plummets to an east conversation. Even the buildup was weak, but I kept on reading to at least get to the part where I felt it would be good and interesting. But I was thoroughly disappointed. If done properly, it could have been good, maybe a little cheesy, but good. Giving the characters depth and not having a message that you are nothing without a man, or completely downgrading females. Even choosing Jacob could have been good, as a theme could have been “the imperfect is perfect.” Do people really think they can be on a ‘team’ of these fictional, shallow characters? Not to mention the non-existent character growth. And don’t let me get started on the other three books where the exact same thing happened. I normally love reading. But this book just made me feel really disappointed and a waste of my time. Don’t let it be a waste of yours.

14. BEST BOOK EVER - I am only in th grade, yet I love to read!! I read the whole Twilight Saga in a month!! Well I finally completed my book challenge ! I totally recommend, if you haven’t read these books, or thinking about reading them, you should!! You will not be disappointed!! I am just so sad that the series is over!!

15. ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS ON EARTH!! - I’ve always been a twihard. I’ve easily and literally read each book over times. They never get old and still move me as if it my first time reading them. My heart always break with breaking dawn. Because it’s the end. She did an amazing job with the ending. I hope (fingers crossed) she does a continuation but about reneesme, Jacob and Nahuel.

16. Contradictions in reviews - Haven't read this book yet but have seen the movie probably times! I'm thinking the book and movie are a bit different, but that's ok. My first observation with these reviews are... you either hate it or you loved it. There doesn't seem to be a middle. I got tickled out of several that gave one or two stars, went on about how horrible all the books are. I don't know about most of you, but if I didn't like the first one, I probably wouldn't of kept reading series??! Next, for all you Jacob fans. He might be able to give her a human life, but the Dude had serious problems. He had a horrible temper. Not only that, he has to be careful because like Sam did with Emily, he could seriously hurt her if he got mad at her. And second....so she drops Edward for Jake-what happens when again like Sam, he's in love with Bella but he imprints on someone else? Isn't that what happened when Sam was in love with Leah? He dumped her because he imprinted on Emily? I think she made the right choice. It never was an option for me. Before the second movie was over, it was all still about Edward for me

17. Review for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - This book was amazing! Just finished the series about days ago. I'm a big fan of the author! I hope there will be a part of Midnight Sun. Looking forward to reading it! I also just read Twilight reimagined (Life or Death). Keep up the good work! xox Stephenie Meyer Fan

18. Amazing - Read It - This series was so amazing... I wish it ever ended... Everyone says not to read most books because we're too young to read about love and passion mixed with fantasy ... But I feel that the Twilight Series is good for young adults who like continuous series's (like me!). Read it and you won't regret it...

19. Addicted - I got the series long ago and ever since I have been in luv with it.and guess what I'm twelve years old....I'm definitely team edward I mean look at him who could not like him.and people who don't like the series..well....there is something wrong with you twilight is the best thing that has ever happened to me so if u don't like it then u know what... fu you

20. Predictable - I admire these books because of how touching and lovable the characters are together, not because of the plot, which was predictable and unrealistic. I know it's fiction, but it still has to tie in with real life because the last time I checked, they live in a HUMAN world and interact with real humans, and even though there are still flaws in this book, I still love it with all my heart.
2013-07-06
21. No. - As a fan of the Twilight series, am I going to be the only one who thought that the last movie was better than the book? The book was badly written and just talked about the same thing over and over again. I wouldn't doubt that the many people who gave this one a five star rating is because they saw the movie first and then read the books. I remember the day the movie for Twilight came out, I read the book and finished it long before I knew the movie was coming out and people would always ask me "What's so special about Twilight?!" And those people saw the movie and became obsessed with them, and then they read the books after seeing the movie. That's annoying in a way. That's why they think the book is amazing because they see the movie in their heads as they read it. If you hadn't seen the movie until after you read the book, then maybe you would've understood why some of us didn't enjoy Breaking Dawn the book.

22. Best book I have ever read! - This book was soooooo good. I watched the movie breaking dawn part and liked it so I thought hmm I wonder what the book is like? I got this book and couldn't stop reading it. But I only read some of the first book so I guess I'm reading the series backwards :) I've read a series backwards before so it's not that bad. I heard that there might be more twilight books or another book some day. I can't wait I want to see what happens to Renesmee, and Bella as a vampire was awesome!
2012-12-13
23. Breaking Dawn - This is by far my favorite of the Saga. I love them all, but this one has stuck with me more than the others. I love how everything finally comes together. Breaking Dawn keeps you on the edge of your seat, and throws in a few unexpected surprises as well!! I read the entire Saga in less than a week, and couldn't put them down!! I was so sad and missed these characters so much I had to re-read the Saga over and over. I can't stop thinking about these books when I'm not reading them, and I even dream in Forks more than I'd like to admit. I can't get enough!

1. Team Edward all the way - I love this book. For a while it was my favorite because I like how It begins with Bella and Edward already in love so I don’t have to wait for them to fall in love like in the first book. It did have a little too much Jacob in it but I get that some people like him teamedward
2022-02-03
2. Amazing - I love this book! I’ve read it six times front to the back. This book is amazing. It has an amazing climax and a lot of romance. The action climax is so cool it’s hard to explain. I love this book because it has a awesome love triangle, it has a lot of romance, cool action parts, and it really shows how much Edward’s family and the wolves care and want to protect Bella. I also like the way it ended rapping up the book but on edge waiting for the next book. This book will have you up all night wanting to know what happens next! One part in the book makes me not very happy though it’s when Bella makes Edward stay from the fight. I understand that she was worried and all it just a little stupid. Other than that I think the book is amazing and I really recommend this book and the book series. Any one who thinks the Twilight saga series is stupid needs to at least pick up the book and read it. Because you can’t have an opinion based on the cover or what your friends think you need to have an opinion based on what you think. I really think this book is really good and awesome.

3. Eclipse - This was by far my favorite book of all four. Bella is forced to admit to herself that she loves both Jacob & Edward. I crossed back over to Team Edward by the end of this. Although I love Jacob I'm a sucker for forbidden love. I was rooting for Edward and Bella to finally make!! Couldn't wait to read the last book!!
2012-10-10
4. Obligatory cheesy review v - I love this story. It's a love story with characters that have faults and follies, and it's as plausible as it can be for a fantasy fiction novel. I hate Jacob the way Bella does at times, yet I always feel bad for the kid. Edward is a rock, no pun intended, in his unyielding love for Bella. Alice, Rose and the rest are as real as can be, and Stephanie Meyer made sure to give their back stories. I have read it over and over, as well as Breaking Dawn. She came along as an author with this series, and by this third installment, she had me hooked. The movies don't even touch the real story, and the first movie was the biggest book adaptation disappointment I have had in some time.

5. Best book EVA!!! - The twilight series is VERRRRRRY ahhhmazing!!! Now every has their own opionions so I won't say that u absolutely HAVE read the bk, but don't b hatin the author. Just bcuz some people don't like the bk doesn't mean we have NOT like the author. Stephenie Myers is a very intelligent woman, and no one should insult her bks just bcuz they didnt like it. I LOOOOOOVE the bks!! And I can't WAIT the last movie!!!!!! GOoOoOoOo TWILIGHT!!!:) Btw:TEAM JACOB all the way!!!:D
GOoOoOoOo WOLVES!!!

6. I love the Twilight series and everyone and everything in it except...Isabella Swan - I loved the actual Twilight story, romance, love between Bella and Edward and plot-line. However, although Bella loves-more like obsesses- both Edward and Jacob unconditionally, and selflessly she has no life outside of them. Seriously,if either Edward or Jacob are not with her she sulks and pouts all day, until she sees one of them. Bella has no particular talents, hobbies(except for obsessing and whining about Edward or Jacob, but particularly Edward). Bella is just average, the only unique things about her is that she cares deeply about others, and is non-judgmental.
I honestly think that it's sad that such talented boys like Edward and Jacob are chasing after such a bland, boring and unoriginal girl.
There are many references made to Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte in this Twilight Saga:Eclipse novel,Bella says that she is just like Catherine Earnshaw, and she is,in a way because Catherine sits at home and weeps over Heathcliff and Edgar Linton.
I suggest reading this book but don't expect am interesting,well-developed heroine.
2011-04-01
7. nd best - I love all the twilight but each book gets better. My favorite scene was the tent scene. My advice is go out and buy the books at a bookstore I know it's probably more expensive but it's worth it. Who wants to whip out there Ipod or Iphone in the middle of class or work to read. TEAM EDWARD
2010-11-07
8. stars - Just don't like twilight I guess and don't like or agree with the craze (it really sometimes annoyes me) and please don't curse at or insult twilight haters like me who can keep there temper in check both sides r equally guilty so don't tell people things like dat I find it rude because I'd never bash dem liking twilight.
2010-09-04
9. Amazing but would change the ending :( - This book out the four has always been my favorite because of the love triangle and the action...i think people that hate twilight should really stop bashing put aside their immaturities and actually read the books before saying how stupid it is. This book is great but I think that Bella should've chosen Jacob because of how their relationship depended more on looks :(. I like this series because Stephanie puts great detail into what would be any girls dream...I admire the writing technique not how "hot" or "cute" the actors look bleh :( altho I am team Jacob and Taylor hehe GO JAKE!

1. Lover of bird calls - This was such an amazing read and put together so many missing pieces I am in awe!! I can’t stop thinking about your brain and how you created all this to come together. Amazing!! Makes me want to go back and re-read where she first loses her memory but now I am so biased to Hudson it will be hard! Will be counting down the days until the next book

2. Amazing!! - I absolutely love this series and I am SO GLAD we finally know Hudson and Grace’s story from their time in the Shadow Realm. Truly amazing with many twists. Tracy Wolff is a fantastic storyteller that knows how to pull the heart strings. If I could give this book a million starts I would!! Can’t wait for Cherish!

3. OMG!!! FINALLY!! DO NOT MISS THIS BOOK!! - I really don’t think my words could do this book justice with a review. This book is SO MUCH MORE! If you thought this series was Amazing; this book will blow your sock off if that’s still a cool statement. Just WOW, I still reeling from everything that happened. This book of course answers SO MANY QUESTIONS, FINALLY!!! It’s HILARIOUS so much that several times I had to stop reading a re-read because I was laughing so hard I couldn’t keep reading. The story itself is phenomenal and the LOVE it’s just SO MUCH MORE!! I’ve been waiting on this installment of the series for a while and was not able to read it the first day it released ,but I’m so happy that I can re-read this book now that it’s out! This is not a sunshines and butterfly book because your heart will shatter, but the encouragement and hope found in this book is a testament to its author. Thank you Tracy for gifting us readers with this series and your talent….. so EXCITED for the next book and the new series Sweet Vengeance!

4. Wow! - I absolutely love this series! Charm was so perfect and now I cannot wait to reread them all, in order (as the timelines “happened”). The characters, the story, the quirks, and everything are in a league all their own. Tracy Wolff continues to intrigue and entertain with her vivid imagination and I can’t thank her enough. Now to reread as I wait more months for more!

1. Really good - I love twilight. This book is really good. I am a team Edward so this one is not my fav, also everyone needs to get off Edwards back for leaving Bella. If you had any common sense whatsoever you would know that he left Bella out of love for her and her safety. Sure, Jacobs nice but kinda boring. He’s literally like, “Hey Bella lets go crash some motorcycles and jump off of cliffs,” while Edward is literally leaving her so she could be safe! Please please please try to understand all you team Jacobs. Anyways, good!

2. Great Second Entry - Meyer does a great job at keeping a single entry in this saga interesting and hooking enough to keep me reading, while also keeping the story grand and feel like a saga that keeps me moving to the next book in the series. Great characters that keep me thinking abt the characters all through the day. Great writing and a romance i didn’t know would have me going on the to rd entry.

3. Ebooks should not have errors - I am annoyed that I payed $. for this book and it has even one mistake. Yes, this is an electronic book, but I could have bought a used copy of the print version for less money. (See Ch , the first (and hopefully only) mistake I noticed was "frommy" in the place of from my )

4. New moon - I was Team Edward before reading this book. But the way Jacob is with Bella just made me fall in love with him that much more. He becomes exactly what she needs him to be. By the end I had completely crossed over to Team Jacob. But I hate how Bella treats him. Here she has this perfect guy wanting to be her everything and all she can think about is Edward. I couldn't wait to read more of this love triangle!!
2012-10-10
5. New Moon - The Twilight Series are hands-down the best books I have ever read. The one thing I recommend about these though, is that you read them in order. Also, please read before you see the movies!! The characters are so much different in the books, and it makes your vision very special and magical. Anyway, A MUST READ!!
2012-04-08
6. I Love This Series! - The series is wonderful, extremely well written, and contains a plot that keeps you reading and re-reading the books over and over again. The grammatical errors in the book made by whoever transferred the book into an ebook form are so distracting, I wish iTunes would review new moon and find the grammatical errors and fix them please. It ruins the flow of the reading to find so many errors as you go, and is insulting to the author's work.

7. New Moon - I,personally, find this book very, very sad;(But even if it is sad it is positively one of the very best books I have read!:)I do think the author did a great job in intertwining the books and characters to the fans and followers reading them:)Bravo to Stephenie Meyer for this excellent book and series:)

1. An Ending That Left Me.. Unsatisfied - The author does a great job of writing in a way that gets you to read between the lines. The concept of “cannibals in love” is very intriguing, and Bones & All portrays introspective, rough, but also gentle cannibals. However, the last thirty pages left me wanting more from the story. Overall, an entertaining read and solid writing.

2. Bones and all - This book was very intriguing. The best thing about a book is when it grabs ahold of you and pulls you in. This book does just that! And with the movie being out now I’m excited to compare the two. In books our imagination can run free and once placed into a film you not only get to see how it had your imagination run wild but you also get to visualize what the director of the films thoughts are! Thank you for an amazing read!

1. Trust me….DON’T DO IT!! - Sorry not sorry but one star is one star too many. Can ANYBODY explain to me why chapter page is the start of day ?!? She got to the school on PAGE CHAPTER …..make it make sense!….So the author wrote pages for only a week to less than a week to go by? Im asking because I couldn’t finish it, I stopped at chapter page (the strength I had to call upon to get that far, Lord). red flag there isn’t a single author of another book quoted on the cover of any of these books (how can you say these books are good when not even an actual writer of ANY book will say these books are good). Red flag all these books were written In to MAYBE months because they all came out months apart, I’m not even a writer and even I know that’s really really fast.

2. Kind of boring at first, gets better towards the end - Some parts were pretty good and descriptive writing, but overall, Crave is not a very good read. Many of the main character Grace’s thoughts seemed immature, like what a year old would think. I can’t see why the mature vampire Jaxon would even be remotely attracted to her. In the last chapter, he finally thinks she is hot, but then why did he make no moves on her beyond kissing? I found that hard to believe. It's lacking in romance beyond immature childish ideas of romance. Grace is an insufferable character who keeps thinking irrational thoughts and doing whatever she feels like with the attitude of a brat. It's tedious to read pages of her internal thoughts without anything happening. On a positive note, it is interesting trying to figure out the mystery of who is trying to kill her. The battle scenes were pretty interesting. I liked her strength towards the end. I wished she developed powers sooner though so she wouldn’t be the weakest person.

3. Absolutely breathtaking - This book is one of my favorites. The author puts so many fun twists to this supernatural romance. It’s like twilight and legacies on a mixed multi dimension. There was action, jealousy, romance, and so much more! I never thought I would see half the plot twist coming. Definitely a hard book to put down.
2022-11-03
4. Annoying - Wish I wouldn’t have purchased this. I don’t mean to come off too harsh, as I’m sure the author worked very hard on this series. The main character, Grace, and her experience in Alaska is laughable. I live in Alaska, I’ve lived in Fairbanks, driven through Healy countless times. It’s not nearly as shockingly cold as the book describes, or at least puts so much attention on. The books makes the weather sound super dramatic. One star for the character, Grace, who seems like a decent main character. I like the internal voice she has. Book flows decently well but as someone whose Alaskan Native, the emphasis on how “crazy” Alaska is.. is exhausting. Also, you don’t fly from Fairbanks to Healy, you drive. It’s a two hour drive. You can google maps it for heavens sake. Sheesh.

5. Honest review - I wholeheartedly got this book thinking it to be a knock off version of twilight. Needless to say I was blown away. Twilight will always have a spot in my heart, but this was amazing especially for the first in the series. It’s a very slow start to develop the story like and the main cluster of characters but it really combines all of the things that make twilight, vampires diaries, and legacies good and puts it in one place. There’s never a point where it gets too serious for it’s own good the way twilight does, and it gets along with the story right before it gets almost tedious to continue the way I wish the other would’ve (to be frank). It’s definitely a book that teens and young adults will enjoy all around.

6. A stellar read. - Fans of twilight will surely enjoy this. I read other reviews that said that they just could not stop turning the pages and wanting to read more, and I agree whole heartedly. This book was absolutely addicting. The ending shocked me and I am so excited for book two. Well done. I am thrilled that it had some similar vibes to the Twilight saga, as well as that romance that I love, but that it had its own style and story going for it.

7. Super fun read - This book is like a delicious meal. It’s so good you want to gobble it all up but if you pace yourself and take small bites and savor them - you really enjoy them. Characters are great, writing is descriptive and easy to read. Story is a little reminiscent of another vampire love story but has its own twist. Can’t wait to finish the whole series!

8. You know it’s good when you have digital & physical copy - This book is just too good. Tracy’s attention to detail is out of this world. I daydream when I read this. Love the dynamic with characters, love the witty comments and charming personalities. Hard to put down and stop reading. I truly enjoyed this and I highly recommend.

9. Had me in the second half - This is a pretty easy read for an avid reader. stars because it is painfully SLOWWW for the first half, but just get through it because the last half and the following books are worth it!! I will also comment that this book is nothing like the twilight series (except for mythical creature) and the rest of the series is worth the monotony of this one.

10. Girl… - I mean it’s ur generic vampire story and it’s hard not to compare it to twilight but in my opinion it’s more like Vampire Diaries but ANYWAY I don’t enjoy this book for the fact that my main character Grace is so stupid and selfish I mean oh my god. Only reading this first book because I’ve heard really good things about the second one.

11. Better than I expected - After first reading all the reviews I was hesitant to purchase and read this book. However I really did enjoy it. It had a few similarities to Twilight (Denali Alaska, age , alpha wolf vs vampire) The Twilight series was even mentioned and compared to Grace and Jaxon. (Including an Edward quote) but that’s about all the similarities I saw. Great story and looking forward to the next book. Hopefully it’ll be written without the mention of eye rolling. If you’re on the fence and loved Twilight, then download this series.

12. Love love love - I am obsessed omg omg !!! I do see a lot of reference from vampire dairies and twilight in this book so it kinda upset me but if you keep pushing through to the second book it just escalates from there!! But gotta say covet is my absolute favorite so far ! Thank you Tracy Wolff for your very creative mind ! Now I have something else to be obsessed with
2021-08-17
13. Twilight fanfic - I honestly dont know how this story got published. Its decently written for a highschooler, but not a published writer. Theres no depth to it. Its quite literally jusr a wattpad fanfic about Twilight and Legacies (Vampire diaries). Its good if you need something to pass the time, but thats about it. It’s a cute story, but couldve been written better. If you like cliché, been written and rewritten a million time stories, this is for you.

1. Glitch - I could only read the sample pages. For the past few days this book has been continuously modified and to try later. Apple support does not reply to any of my messages on the message boards and in my research I see this is not a singularity. I am fed up with Apple's brush off. Will never purchase apple technology ever again.
The only reason I'm giving this book for stars is because it is not the writer's fault

2. Frostbite - wow!!Amazing, I laughed,I cried, I got so mad at times!! Thanks for the adventure can't wait for the next one. I took me a Day to read this one.lol I'm ready for the next adventure!!! I loved the bloodline serious I still need to read the last one. I didn't realize it was out. I really need to sign up for your newsletter.

3. Good read - In my opinion..it's not "better than twilight" as some reviews claim. That would be quite an accomplishment. Having said that, it is an awesome series. I find myself reading each book in just a few days each with trouble putting them down. So, to read or not to read? That is the question..if your reading this review. It's definitely....to read!

4. addicted to the "VA" series...seriously. - -"frostbite".. i must admit is even better than "vampire academy" & i'm going through these books SO quickly {good thing i already purchased the next two}, BUT i'm going to need MORE when the series comes to an end! a huge thumbs up [ ] & [ ] stars!
-now, if only there was a movie i could star in.. rachelle holscher would make a GREAT "rose" based on personality.. (but according to my appearance, i'm perfectly equipped to portray "lissa"..)
- i'm addicted & so happy i purchased "vampire academy" on a whim.

5. Great. :) - SPOILER ALERT Okay so this book was excellent. I read it in a hour tho. Soooo. Overall it was amazing. Richelle Mead has the best writing mind besides James Patterson whom I am also obsessed with. Haha. The only problem I had with this book, was masons death. It kinda made me depressed. And I wanted just more in general. There wasn't really much it. Besides that it was very good. A little short but good. I would recommend this book to anyone. All in all, stars. Nice job Richelle! (CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE AT THE LIBRARY!)

1. To much smex - Lol far to much see talk and constant talk about how good looking each other was that it made me skip over a lot of the book. I love their connection don’t get me wrong and I have an epic love life but it felt to fake with how exaggerated it was. But once things kicked in at the more end of the book I got hooked back in!

2. INCREDIBLE!! - I was hesitant on reading this spin-off series because I didn't want to let go of the old characters from Vampire Academy but I am sooooo glad I did. The characters and plot are amazing and you will be sucked in!! The first book starts off slow but into the last book you won't be able to put these books down!! Amazing series I really hope Richelle makes another spin off with a new point of view maybe Lissa or Jill :)

1. Oh my gosh… Adrian - First off, the book is amazing; all of Mead’s work is. And let’s be honest, we all adore Dimitri. But I fell in love with Adrian pretty early on, and I’m so glad he has such a big part in this series! I wasn’t ready to let him go Another thing; I held off from reating these books for a while because I wasn’t sure I’d still be drawn to the world looking at it through someone else’s eyes other than Rose’s, but again, Mead handled the change amazingly and I’m hooked!

2. Even better than VA series - Absolutely love this series. I can’t help but laugh at Sydney’s lack of social experience and of course a signature Adrian Ivashkov witty quip. Malachi Wolfe may very well be one of my favorite characters and I will make to remember to pay attention to which side his eyepatch is on when I read this again.

3. Fangirling so hard rn! - Oh my god from book one i had a feeling Sydney and Adrian would fall in love, and then at the end they kiss, and Im just sitting here cheering,"Yes yes yes!" I was so excited and then she says no and i cried. This book definitely made my heart melt, especially with that scene at Wolfes class.

4. Wow - I absolutely live this series with all my heart! At first I didn't want to bec Sydney just didn't seem that interesting, but then I just decided 'YOLO' lets do it and I think I love it better than VA! If you are a super Adrian fan, follow my fan account on twitter @bitemexd I post all the information on the Indigo Spell I can find!

5. Slow but fun - The beginning was very slow. I couldn't quite get a feel for the story because I felt like Mead was trying to hammer home how methodical Sydney is. Ms. Mead: We all remember, we've read about her character in several books now. But once the story got going, I found it fun. I even laughed out loud once or twice. I would like to see Brayden brought back. I think there's more to him than meets the eye. I'm sure Trey will provide for some twists in the plot. However I find Sydney's interaction with Ms Terwilliger to be the most interesting. I'm also glad Adrian finally admitted his emotions. Sydney needs some romance in her life!

6. The Golden Lilly - I so enjoy the strengths of Sydney character. The changes in Adrian outlooks in life. The budding romance that is sure to be a struggle. I hope love prevails. Jill, Eddie & Angeline have a lot to offer in this series. Interesting story lines for them. Love to see the strength of Dimitri & Sonya in the story line. Trey is endearing. Being caught between what he thinks he should do & what he was raised too be is the a lot of people can relate too. Just as Sydney can. I am so longing forward to the next books in this series!!!

7. Oh GOD - This book...was AMAZING!!@),/@?
I laughed, I cried, I changed for the better, and every time there was a sweet, romantic scene, I squealed like a little girl getting a pony for her birthday.
The writing was amazing, and the odd bits and pieces that the author included fit together beautifully at the end. Richelle Mead, I salute you for being able to write such a descriptive book about the perils of living in sunny Palm Springs for a Moroi while living in such a dreary, rainy place.

8. Breath taking... - I didnt read Bloodlines, but i am aware of the past seris (V.P). This book is sooo ahh-mazing i can't even express how much i love this book. I'm like sitting at the edge of my seat, thinking of the next book. The ending was soo full of emotion,it was heart breaking. All readers should read this book, even if they have no idea whats happening. its still too good to even think about passing it up:)

9. This book is captivating - This book was completely compelling, much like the vampire academy Richelles cliff hangers always leave you wanting more. I could not put it down, the suspense between Sydney and Adrian drove me crazy! I can't wait to read the next book in the series. BUY & READ IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

1. Such a great book & Series! - Have you ever watched a television show and at the end your letter wanting more but there isn’t any? Like, the characters were part of your everyday life and suddenly gone? This series was that good and I hope to see more of this book.... maybe a spin-off? Definitely recommend reading this.

2. What the Heck!?!? - Aileen Erin’s ninth book in the Alpha Girl series was one of the best books I’ve read in a long time! I have a hard time with emotions and somehow Alpha Erased made me cry TWICE. Words cannot express how well this book, characters, or plot were written. I will forever and always be amazed with Aileen’s work and can’t wait to see what else she does! If you’re looking for something new and different, this series is for you. While it has vampires, werewolves, and witches, the series shows them in a whole different light than other supernatural books and movies.

3. Series just keeps getting better!! - I’ve been reading this series for awhile now and I’ve reread the series over and over. The book series just keeps getting better and better. This book got me crying, laughing and seriously tense!!! I love Dastein and Tessa! I really hope this series continues. I await for Samantha story!! Can’t wait.

4. A PERFECT ending to a BRILLIANT series! - Dear readers, be advised. WARNING: The LIBRARIAN GENERAL has determined that AILEEN ERIN novels can be HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! Side effects may include: Uncontrollable binge reading
Book hangovers
Extreme nail biting
Ocasional tears
Random outbursts of joy
Intense feelings of love for fictional characters I’ve read every one of the ALPHA books, and I ADORE them ALL!!!! Alpha Erased is a brilliant conclusion to an epic saga. I would be begging for more if it weren’t for the upcoming SAMANTHA TRILOGY, not to mention ON MISSION, both of which I would like someone to put in my hands right now, please and thank you. In the words of Ronnie Chieng, “I need it NOW!!!” Okay, look, I’ll try to be patient. I will. But I get just as excited for each new book as I do for entire new seasons of my favorite Netflix series. I can’t wait to dive into them, and they NEVER disappoint! In Alpha Erased, Tessa disappears. I honestly think I missed her as much as Dastien did, which is saying a lot. If you care about this couple as much as I do, the first half of this book will be brutal to read, especially amid social distancing and all the people we’re missing right now. Keep tissues handy. Dastien’s looking for her everywhere, but nothing’s working. Leads turn into dead ends. Magic is failing him. Even the fey are powerless to help. And he can’t feel their bond. But take heart! All your favorite characters will show up to lend their support. It’s like an Avengers movie, with werewolves. Speaking of which, if you’ve never read the Alpha books, don’t start with this one. You won’t get nearly as much out of it if these characters aren’t already your best friends. Start with Becoming Alpha and read them straight through. Then, while you’re waiting for the SAMANTHA SERIES (omg happy dance!!!), read Off Planet and Off Balance. One of my favorite scenes of any book or movie of all time takes place in Off Balance, by the way. Just saying. I know, I know, I’m supposed to be talking about this book. But I have a firm policy of never including spoilers in any review, and in the words of Iñigo Montoya, “Let me explain … no, there is too much.” I refuse to spoil ANYTHING about this BRILLIANT series that you just have to read for yourself. I will only say this: There were parts where I was so worried, I was ready to throw my Kindle off a mountain. And parts where I was so happy, I cried. Reading doesn’t get any better than that. AileenErin BookLife This book ships TODAY, May !!! My sincere and humble thanks to the author for letting me read an early review copy on Net Galley.

1. Great story but needs editing - I loved the story. The characters are very good. It's hard to see beyond a lot of typos and missing words. I'm not an English major but I do love reading, the last books are filled with lots of errors. I hope they will be corrected especially for the price you pay for these books. Enjoy...

2. Refreshing - What a refreshing series that keeps you on the edge of good and evil and also the blossoming of friendships and young true love. Loved the story of Claudia and Lucas in Bruja and hope you tell the story of Meredith one day. Would also love to hear the story about Cosette the fey and Van. To me she would be a series all her own. Thank you Miss Erin for taking me away on a wonderful adventure. You have a magical gift of story telling. Can't wait for May when your next book is due out. 2. Great story but... - There are a TON of typos in this series! I'm on the fourth book and wow....every single book so far has pages where the wrong names are used, so you basically have to figure out what the names are suppose to be, your used instead of "you're", it went into first person back to third person...really obvious and terrible mistakes. I expect this from free books, but not books I'm paying for. I'm surprised no one has said anything yet! However, the story is great, keeps you on your toes for a youth fiction series. Just wish the publishers would edit the books a little better, or make them all free if not.

4. Vampire Journals, Morgan Rice - I have read the first four books and I have to say WOW! I'm loving this series.....Morgan Rice's use of history with her own imagination created what I think is an epic love story with action and adventure with a little bit of mystery. If u like the paranormal and romance stories, you will love this series.....

1. I had these - I read these books years ago up until Fade Out if I am not mistaken. And came across Daylighters at Dollar Tree. These books got me through middle school and high school. Well written and the story feels like it drags sometimes but the build up is amazing! Once the suspense is high. The blow is just like GOD-DAMNIT. I highly recommend these books to all YA and even YA at heart. I will never regret this series and I cry with the loss of my paperbacks. All damaged from humidity and termites

The collage is located in a city in Texas called Morginvill. Turns out the town is run by vampires! One thing's for sure; whatever you do don't stay out after dark!!!

1. Sapphics, we deserve better than this garbage - This felt like it was the author’s first time ever writing a book: so many repeated phrases, no proper sense of pacing, a romance with absolutely no chemistry or believability, the blandest dialogue, every cliché imaginable, and the most egregious crime an author could commit: ZERO depth and personality for the characters. Each character spoke exactly the same despite their age/time period differences. Like the entire book felt like one person arguing with themself. The book was told from Holly’s point of view but she had no real personality to her. Rose’s personality was just the author describing her outfits (and she was the only character who ever got such devoted details when it came to clothing. Everyone else might have been naked based on the lack of description they received). Ida’s personality was that she was supposed to be the dark, edgy one who makes “quirky” art projects using the bodies of her victims but like that’s literally it. Just that one note played over and over and over again. Parker was beautiful. That’s it. Beautiful (no other character had the same level of description when it came to physical appearance) and unbelievably foolish because her little plan to help save the day in the end truly made no sense. Her being turned into a vampire made all of the hard work of the other characters feel pointless. Her romance with Holly wasn’t believable in any way. They barely knew each other. There was no genuine buildup there. None. The author couldn’t be subtle if she tried so the romance between Parker and Holly was not even remotely a surprise but it felt like it came out of nowhere because there was no actual spark or connection between the two characters, just lots of cliches and bland dialogue. Side characters were also given just one personality trait per person. It’s a shame this book was as bad as it was because the premise sounded great and I love me a sapphic romance! But c’mon. Us queer women need to stop settling for mediocre books like this because we want representation so badly.
