1. HILARIOUS, POINANT, UNIQUE PREMISE - WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU AND YOUR INNER WOLF DIDN’T GET ALONG I really like shifter books so I've read a lot of them. But it never occurred to me that maybe one body wasn't big enough for the two to coincide. What if the two were fighting all the time over who gets to wear what body, and both of you were just as demanding? I really enjoyed the audio review copy of this duology, because the narrater was very good and was able to keep the story moving very clearly. I always understood who was in what form, and when Olivia's visions flowed into and out of her real life to help her, it was fascinating and easy to follow. It's always fun to revisit characters from previous books and this time it was The US President from WOLF LEGASY QUARTET" who, in the beginning of book , needs Olivia's archeological help. Great tie in! Maybe Olivia and her pack can come back again for an encore in someone else's series. They're a great gang

1. Left Me Flat - I like the magic theme but another book centering around battle training over and over, and the epic battle that lasted a handful of pages? And then an ending where the epilogue doesn’t give us a glimpse of the new and better world where the great evil no longer exists? A let down after following the characters for three books.

3. Great ending!! - This rd and final installment had me in tears. This was a very emotional book with Breene closing some chapters in her life and starting new ones. The dragons. The final battle. The love between Breene and Keegan. I think this finale did their story justice. I fell in love with many of these side characters, and the two worlds were brought to life with such color and wonder. You feel like you have fallen inside a story book fairy tale that does include some very, evil characters. After all, there had to be for Breene and Keegan to fight and concur. Keegan has been a hard character for me but he came through in the end. He's one of those men that keep their feelings close to the vest. He's honorable, loyal and in the end, he gave Breene what she really needed. Breene stayed true to herself all the way through even as she learned to shed her mothers moving and becoming who she really is. She was an easy character to love and wish great things for. This was a fun series to read!

4. Satisfying! - There’s no one better to write a contemporary or fantasy story than Nora Roberts. With Breen and Keegan’s story coming to a suspenseful end, we find out who gets a happy ending and who gets a sad ending. Some are very satisfying while others are very heartbreaking. The secondary characters are just as fascinating as the main characters. Who doesn’t root for Marco and Brian? Or Nan and Sedric? All of Breen’s journey and knowledge will finally come to a head with Odran. I would have liked to see how life continues in Talamh six months to a year later.

1. Enjoyable series - The most important thing for me when reading a great series is hoping that there is a great flow. This series delivers, pulls you in and keeps pushing you from one moment to the next. This made for a very exciting, tense and often times fun read. And, who wouldn’t want a best friend like Marco! 1. The Punishment for Deception - Okay so overall I loved the first two books, they were amazing! Then I read the third….. The ending in my opinion is absolutely TERRIBLE!!! (Warning: Mild spoilers) I hate how it ended but the rest of the book was pretty good. It’s just after the doctor attended to her when the queen poisoned her. She reacted like right after it happened but then for the rest of the book it’s just not mentioned at all. I just don’t see how she got over it that quickly. Other then those things the book was great!

2. The first was good… - I am so mad. Why did she kill the prince??? They had some serious chemistry. I was hoping that he wasn’t dead. This book really should have pit them together. They could have changed the fate of the kingdom. He was a very kind person. I honestly don’t think I will read the rest. Will is not a strong enough male lead to be partner with her. The author makes her seem super dumb and doesn’t allow her to embrace her true potential as a character. Very disappointed.

3. Very good series - It always makes me mad when there are so many books in a series just for greed but I have really enjoyed the series up until this book. 1. Just finished it - I really enjoyed the read. The greatest asset I think of this book is its fluidity. It has smooth continuity. The characters I enjoyed, especially the main Louis, whom to me was as noble as anyone could be in that sinful position, and Claudia, whom I found to be such an artful addition to the story. There wasn’t any annoying character which is rare for books in my opinion (lol). The author does a great job at unaffectedly developing the relationships, where you become invested in them. And I thought the ending very clever. Cool book!

2. Bloated, pages should have been less than . - It's possible for a book to not be descriptive enough. Then there is this whale of a tale: paragraphs upon paragraphs of describing honeysuckle and kudzu and cobblestones. Enough already! This is a dull book about walking through courtyards, gardens, going to theaters, riding in carriages...oh...and vampires are stuck somewhere in it. Simply put, reading this was like trudging through a thick Louisiana swamp.

3. IWTV Is The Best Vampire Story Ever - This is my favorite book of all times. A friend had suggested that I read it and I was reluctant about it. I'm glad I gave in because years later it remains as exciting as it was the first time I read it. I don't know why people compare it to the Twilight series. They have nothing in common except for vampire characters. I prefer Anne Rice's vampires. If you want to see vampires in a different light than anything you've ever read, this is the book for you. It's beautifully written. If you saw the movie, forget what you saw. The movie is completely different from the book. I didn't like it. Read the book, you will love it.

1. Great book - I was on the edge the whole book. Cole has really let the darkness in. I was scared for him at the end of the last book.This book puts Lexi in a new light. She has her work cut out for her. I screamed at her a few times when I thought she was making the wrong choices. LOL. Brenda really kept me guessing how thins boo was going to end. I can see the struggles Lexi is having without Cole standing by her side and how exhausting it can be for her. Even though Orin and I are in a love hate relationship, I still can not wait to read about him and Sahara. As well as Brokk and Kaylia. 4. Incredibly well done - I loved this latest addition to the series. The world building was so incredibly well done. It had everything from all consuming love to utter betrayal. 5. Legendary! - I was very excited to read this, and I started this book expecting it to be the last of the series, but…..there’s more! I was anticipating a lot of action and afraid there would be a lot of loose ends (because I’m so attached to many of the characters), and I’d have to say Lexi and the gang don’t seem to have much down time between pages but there is a good mixture of action and anticipation. Many surprises as well! Brenda does it again and reeled me in causing anxious anticipation until the next release!

I’ve read through the series multiple times and it is by far my favorite book series of all time. Storm Front Review - The first entry in the Dresden Files series, which I have just now gotten around to reading after hearing for years everyone harping on and on about how good it is, is a perfectly good novel. That’s about all I have to say about it. It’s good. Not bad. Not great. But good. It’s entertaining, and it’s enthralling lead character makes up for it’s somewhat lackluster mystery. Overall, a pretty strong novel that does a good job of setting up the world and characters for future entries.

7. Fast and entertaining, but not the best book I have read - I had just finished reading a grueling novel and needed something fast, 'light', and entertaining to get back into reading. The Dresden Files book one was just what I needed. The writing style is casual and very easy to follow. The story was entertaining but fairly obvious from the start. It was a good introduction to the world of Harry Dresden and sorcery. I will definitely read more of this series but only after the prices drop significantly since I was able to read this one so fast. Definitely a GoodRead!

8. More than a good read! - Let me start by saying this: When for a purpose outside my own, I hate reading. However, on my own will and accord, I really enjoy it! This book....this wonderful, wonderful book made me love reading even more! It was one of those books that you don't want to put down! 9. Storm Front - I was at a point that I didn't want to read for leisure as I once used to. I have been trying to get my degree and got so tired of reading because of all the reading I had to do from textbooks. This book has changed that. This is a very easy read, holds your interest to the point of not wanting to put the book down. I have read this book in about a week. It used to take me forever to read any book. Very, very impressed and excited to start the next one in the series. I highly recommend this book. I am told by several close friends that each book gets better. Jim Butcher has broken the lock on the door that has kept me from wanting to read for leisure. Thank you very much Jim Butcher.

10. Good, Fun Read - This book kicks of the Dresden Files series, and does a reasonably good job getting the reader to like Harry Dresden, the series' main character. The books plot is decent, and the characters, while not particularly deep, are decent. Some of the events in the book seem kind of scattered, and there are a few gaps in logic, but overall I found the book well worth reading.

11. Brilliant, full of roguish charm. - I was loathe to come anywhere near this series due to it's television syndication. I am delighted to say that I was completely taken aback by the clever characters and completely sucked in by the rough knight in tarnished armor Harry Dresden is. His self-depreciation and stubborn sense of honor makes him a wayward hero I will enjoy reading about for many books to come. If you like this, look up Glen Cook's P.I. Novels. You won't be disappointed in those either.

12. Holmes gets a wand. - "Storm Front" is an excellent read for anyone who likes a good mystery/adventure. Dresden plays the perfect surly detective of the netherworld. The book is smartly written with all kinds of creativity. Butcher takes a different look at Magic (this is not a grown up Harry Potter), but it works. This Harry is a sarcastic realist who you like as soon as you are introduced to him, and his story keeps your attention through every page.

13. Do it - If you are thinking about reading the Dresden Files STOP!!! That thinking would be better spent reading this series which has become my favorite book series. You have to give Butcher a but of slack for the first few books in this series as they were the first books he had ever written. That is not to say however that even the first few books aren't wonderful pieces of literature. Jim Butcher is truly a master author and both of his series (which I read all of at least twice a year) have given much pleasure in my life. In short stop thinking about reading these books and just do it!!! IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER!!!!

1. Hugh - I was not expecting some of the things in this book. I expected Hugh d’Ambray to be his usual self. The Iron Dogs look to him for support as they are loyal to him and not Roland. Hugh’s story is very interesting because you see another side of him and I really liked this side of his character. I always thought he was a bit extreme because of his relationship with Roland but this is another whole new side to Hugh. Humanity is something which is showing it’s head. I would be interesting to see where his relationship with Roland’s daughter develops now that he is not trying the get to her. Now we have to add that Hugh is now married and their marriage is very different. Negotiations seems to be the theme but secrets on Elara’s part seems to be the norm. These secrets are very unusual but very very interesting! The humor they generate adds so much to the story along with the bits of romance. I throughly enjoyed the book even with all the fighting and gory ness. Read and hopefully enjoy this excellent book!

2. Good fantasy adventure romance - Thoroughly enjoyed! Strong male and female leads with a strong sense of supportive family and community ties. Before you think clean Christian romance, know these characters and their journey can be quite rough. Character development is wonderful. The plot and action left me aching for more! Read it twice and then bought the audio book so I could enjoy at another time. The audio book’s “voice” by Steve West is nothing short of perfection! Made me enjoy this book even more! Many thanks to the team who makes up Ilona Andrews! 3. Pure Joy! - I have read every single one of these authors books. Several more than once. I highly recommend this book and all others. While this can be read as a stand alone novel, again it is highly recommended to read the Kate Daniels series prior. While the authors explain much background having a good knowledge of the KD World helps the story flow more smoothly. There was always something about Hugh that resonated with me I now know why. I also loved Elara and the new cast of characters. Read it!

4. Magically Fantastic - I love Ilona Andrews stories: Novels, short stories and novellas. Her newest creation, Iron and Magic is no exception. Originally this was an April Fools’ joke, but then the dynamic duo of Ilona and Andrew Gordon actually wrote it, and in doing so, they pulled off the impossible—they made a villain, a true monster, into a hero. Not to give anything away, but wow… just wow. Originality, humor, two main characters with the exact same motivation—to keep their people safe—and, of course, a very well earned romance. This is my favorite book this year, so far… Ilona and Andrew have another book coming out in a little over a month, so I have to keep my options open. And to make things even better, there will be two more of these novels to come. Thank you Ilona Andrews… please write faster.

5. Amazing as always - The Ilona Andrews team always deliver an incredible reading experience - compelling characters and plot, masterfully combined with action and humor. A die-hard fan of Kate Daniels and Curran, I was a little wary of a story (initially presented as an April Fool’s Day prank, if memory serves) that would give arch-nemesis Hugh a hero turn. But of course, the authors managed to make his journey and metamorphosis logical, believable and understandable, all without compromising any of Hugh’s prior character development or storylines. The crossover appearance of additional characters from KD World was a treat, addressed another necessary stage in Hugh’s redemption, and hopefully laid some track for future plot developments (Protect Dali!). I am already looking forward to the next entry in Hugh and Elara’s story (with so many more mysteries to uncover about new heroine Elara) and hope that the new and improved Hugh appears in the upcoming (and eagerly anticipated) conclusion to Kate & Curran’s story.

The book starts off in a castle where the price and adoptive (main character) princess are robbing trains at night and going to galas in the day. The princess is told she must marry a man she hates so they go to rob a train one last time and get caught. The prince goes back to his life and the princess is in the worlds worst prison where she must kill to survive. 3. I can already feel the hangover… - I have become a junkie for all things Fae! Ever since I read the ACOTAR series, I have been desperate to scratch that itch. SMB is off to a great start IMO! I can already tell I’m trading in one hangover for another- and I’m ok with it! I was ready to keep this series in my TBR queue- as soon as I read the Jasón Momoa dedication. SOLD!! I’m new to this world of Fantasy Fae Romance- but I can already tell SMB will be an instant favorite for me. I liked her writing, her world building, the Easter eggs, the slow burn intrigue, the sprinkles of possibilities everywhere- I’m hooked. Must. Know. More!! Although this series is incomplete- I really appreciate that she has a timeline and release/title layout. I wish more authors did that so I can anticipate how long I need to wait, and what’s next. 5. Wow!! - First off, WOW! Second, how does Stacey continue to write amazing stories. I know this book is first in a series, but I need that next book, like now! The character depth, the details, and the emotions, Jesus take the wheel. Brex will have you clawing at survival while Warwick will have you so sexually charged, it seems impossible coming from just a character from a book. Stacey’s insight into the fae world as well as it blending with humans and reality are beyond insane, has you believing it is completely possible to be living that reality now. Great, awesome, there are just not enough powerful positive words for this book! Would give so many more stars if possible!!

2. Great series so far - Let me just start by saying that I loved this story. I honestly love all the characters, except for the commander. The prince was so charming that I found myself falling for him. I wish Zadie just one more appearance. What happened to Isabelle was a nice twist. And Will.. Will has had my heart since the first book. I love a classic hero type character! But I don’t like to have a predictable ending. I knew from the moment Elise agreed that it wasn’t going to work. 1. The Grey. The Wolf. The Forced Sex. The Worst Book of the Series. - After five solid books in the series, the sixth book fell flatter than Flat Stanley. There were entirely too many points of view along with a countless barrage of forced sex scenes (even in the midst of what were supposedly very intense and heated battles). Additionally, The Wolf, The Grey, the light, the dark, the natural, the unnatural, blah, blah, blah — we get it. Brexley and Warwick were seemingly opposites or emitted these qualities that should have emitted stark differences in their character polarities. It did NOT need to be repeated so, so, so often. In effect, had the forced sex and comparative redundancies been omitted, this book’s page count could likely have been cut by about %. Not a fan.

2. Forever a favorite series - Sad to see the end of the series, but what a beautiful ride! I love the authenticness of the characters and their pain, their happiness, and their realness portrayed. Each character beautifully written to be their own, and all of them meshing together into one big happy found family. The story wraps up to everyone’s own hea and their stories will live rent free in my head forever. Power, love, sex, comedy, heartache, happiness and war. Everything you could need. 3. The entire series was captivating - I enjoy the book. It holds you. There are books that are long as this and you want to end by the rd book in the series. No will to continue. Not this one! I never wanted it to end. The story line is so on point. It’s a long series but the story itself is not drawn out. I am not ready for Warwick and Brexley story to end yet though. I feel like there is so much more needed to be done and said. It still feels like their story end on a cliff hanger. How this last book end seems like the next book will be about Ash. He has yet to find his soul bond/mate. However I do not feel attached to any of the other character to read a series about them. Selfish as I may sound, I still want brexley and Warwick story to continue. maybe with them having and child and the child has enormous power. How they will work to protect that child from those who hunt them down.

1. Similar to other series - I really loved how this series started, the last two book started to be a fairytale rewrite of the author’s inheritance series. Everything was well written but once this happened the series was super predictable and less enjoyable to read as someone who read the inheritance series, even the characters had the same personalities. The first books were unique but the last few were a bit disappointing.

2. SPOILERS - I absolutely devoured this series. The characters were flushed out very well, and the plot was captivating. My only wish is that this last book spent a little less time describing the battle and much more time explaining how everything evolved after Dylan was rescued. The little bit of wedding scene we get is so lovely. I wish we were able to experience the characters’ happiness after so so much of their heartbreak before having to say goodbye to this world for good. 4. Great series! - Loved this series so much. Kat was a brilliant and hilarious character with great character growth throughout. Her and Dylan’s witty banter throughout their relationship was perfect. I’m usually pretty tough on secondary characters, but in this case I loved the whole crew. 1. Overall Good Storyline - The context of the book and story itself I find quite interesting and wanted more of what was going to happen. This would’ve seen a or star being given for that alone; however taking into consideration the grammatical errors, punctuation, separation between paragraphs (or lack thereof) to signify a change in scenery or people being described, names being mixed up or misspelled (Adam is missing the A in a section and Ada and Ann’s names get confused in another), and the mistake of going from third party to first party reading are all issues which should have been looked at more carefully. Especially when the book which clearly could have been a single is being separated into parts (or more since it’s continuous). Makes me question the authors motives and wonder if they’re just trying to get as much as they can or do they really think they’re worth the prices of these small release novellas. It’s also making me question whether I’ll watch for the next installment or even purchase it, because in the end, I doubt the cost will be worth it.

2. Slow to start but worth it in the end - I should start with I’ve read all of Nora Roberts’ book (not including the ones penned under J.D. Robb). I think my favorite series from her is the trilogy Chronicles of the One. I had high hopes for this book (Awakening) based on my love of the trilogy previously mentioned. However, in my opinion the story was a bit slow to start. Once I got halfway through the book I couldn’t put it down. I’m glad I made myself keep reading. I ended up loving the developing characters, the story, and the background setting. Nora weaves a fascinating tale. As soon as I’m done writing this I’m buying the next book to read!

3. Love it except - - Wonderful work! However, as a mom, a grandmother and great grandmother I must stick up for Breen’s mom! Moms make mistakes and she made them! But moms protect their children and Breen needs to understand that! Her mom loves her and I hope that gets settles in the upcoming stories. 5. Another great Nora Robert’s book series. - I was caught from the first page. I read it when it first came out and just read it again, because I’d forgotten most of it. 6. Another favorite! - Ms. Roberts never disappoints! I try to take it slow, to savor the story, but I immediately get drawn in to the vibrancy and clarity of the Irish countryside (my heritage too), the deeply woven and somehow familiar characters that makes me want to be a part of that world. I love and crave the fantasy of this genre . The struggle between two worlds, the amazing transformation in the heroine, the love of family and friends old and new, the anticipation of the danger that is coming and the promise of what could be! November seems so far away to wait for the next installment. I may have to read it again , or a few times until then! 6. It’s OK - I have read all Nora Roberts books. This trilogy is really not what you would expect from reading her other books. Took me awhile to finish because it just did not hold my attention. 5. Dead witch walking - I loved this book. I'm an adult that is mostly into teen books like the Percy Jackson books and the twilight saga. The only adult books I had grown to love were the Alex cross books from James Patterson. I didn't think I would like this book in the first pages of it, but as I kept reading I fell in love with it, and wanted to know how Rachel would get out of her "between wall and sword" situation... I loved her decision making, and her reactions... And pretty much all of it, great ending and can't wait to read the rest. Thanks deeply to the author.

3. So bloody brilliant! - The story continues with more action, more romance, and more answers! Since finishing the second book, I could not wait to get back into Cole & Lexi’s story and Brenda Davies did NOT disappoint! You start of right away with getting answers to the ending of book two, stuff I definitely did not see coming. I loved having all the different POV and getting to know the new characters. Oh my gosh, Varo is one of my new favorites! He seems like such a sweetie! There’s lots of action, lots of answers and questions and more answers and more questions (but not overwhelmingly so). The story and writing keep you intrigued and you really feel for the characters when they are struggling with stuff. I can’t wait until the next book comes out to see what’s going to happen to both Lexi and Cole- they are turning into such a mystery with so many unknowns!

7. If You’re Not Already Addicted, You Will Be… - We've all had a book that we just couldn't put down and Shadows of Betrayal is no exception. Brenda K. Davies does NOT disappoint... ever. 9. It was Fae Metal but he was the strongest Dark Fae they have ever known! - Oh my god!!!! The battle in the beginning had me holding my breath. Cole’s strength and love for Lexi is so unbelievable. Maintaining his strength for the sake of his people is inspiring. The way Brenda describes his eyes changing the wolf part and Fae parts fighting for control. I can really see it in my head. Just as Good as the First Time I Read It - I just finished rereading (Un)Bidden, the th book in the Judgment of Six series and have to say that I found it to be every bit as good as the first time I read it some months ago. This is the story of Charlene, the mate of Thomas, who is the leader of the pack at the Compound, and the mother of Emmitt, the mate of Michelle (Book ), and the mother of Jim, who wants to be an Elder. It tells of Charlene's early life until she ran away from home while still in high school and how she stumbled upon the buildings that would become the Compound. It also tells the love story between Charlene and Thomas, which is far more detailed than some of the others. That's probably why I liked it so much. Looking at the book objectively, I did note a number of places that would have benefited from a more thorough editing process, but even so, it wasn't enough to detract from the overall story. I have to say again, that Melissa Haag is a wonderful story teller. I've enjoyed everything of hers that I've read thus far and I think I've read all her books, even those written under the name M. J. Haag. If you've never read one of her books, do yourself a favor and try one. I would suggest starting with the first book in this series, Hope(less). It should leave you hooked!

4. Smashing - (Un)bidden - I was skeptical if i would like going back in time but was also was curious how it all started and so curiosity won and I am grateful i gave into it. The book had me enthralled from the first letter and I loved Charlene and Thomas’s story. It is as unique as Clay and Gabby, who are my favorite couple in this series. 2. of her best literary books: All in ONE awesome, convenient package!!!! - I have a physical copy of this trilogy, and I must say, it is by far one of my favorite volume of books within my book collection. The way she dives into the minds of each character throughout each book is absolutely magnificent. There are no words to describe all the emotions that were swimming in my head with each page that I turned. It was almost as if I was physically there with Lestat or Louis or any other character in the book, experiencing every event, from its most painful, to its most frightening and everything in between. These books are, arguably, modern classics that will last a very long time in history. These should most definitely be within the pedestal of other literary classics. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!! PERIOD! Not only do you save money from getting all of these books in one package, but you experience so much from reading this!

6. Loved it! - Forgotten Silence made me fall in love with Sally and Costin all over again! They have always been one of my favorite couples from Quinn's books, but I think this story might have brought them into st place for me. I love how playful they are and how well their personalities work together, and in this book you definitely see that. But you also see their struggles with darkness, and how well they lean on each other for support when doing life seems impossible, which makes their relationship seem even more real. Because it's not always unicorns and rainbows, and this story (and pretty much the rest of Quinn's books) definitely touches on that. I love this book and enjoyed seeing Sally and Costin's relationship flourish (especially since they are now parents)! I could hardly put it down to study for my exams! And I am super excited for the next chapter in the Grey Wolves and Gypsy Healers Series. I hope it never ends!

Your resident dimple boy and the powerful gypsy healer. I love how she brings them healing after the events in burning claw but draws you in with surprising twists and revelations for what is sure to follow with another book in the Grey Wolves series. Quinn Loftis is an author of amazing talent and once you read one of her books you're hooked and impatiently waiting for more!!

10. Soul Lifting! - Just as always, Quinn Loftis has captured my heart again! This book pulls at your heart strings in so many ways. I couldn’t put this book down so much so that I finished it in less than a day. The storyline keeps you wanting more and you can’t help but want to keep going. Sally and Costin are such a beautiful couple; it makes you dream of having that relationship one day. If you love romance, heartbreak, passion, mystery, faith, and anything else you can think of, this book is for you. 1. Guilty Pleadures - Laurell K. Hamilton is one of the premier authors to mix vamps, shifters, zombies, ghouls, werewolves ...... in the genre of mystery, science fiction, horror and fantasy. This is usually not my thing, I preferre only Vamps! but I wanted to try Laurell's first book just to get a taste, and I liked the book. Anita Blake the tough protagonist is not my ideal, but she grows on you as an animator, raises the dead and Vampire killer - that's her legit job. She's out to solve a series of crimes involving Vamps and gets mixed-up with some good and bad ones. There's Zombies and all matter of supses and if this interests you, the book is great. At times I couldn't stop reading the action was so good. I LOVE the Vampire Jean-Claude so much that I will read the next book in this series and it seems Anita has this strange attraction to Jean-Claude too, but she's supposed to kill Vampires....... Stars, It's no 'Interview with a Vampire' or 'Dracula'

1. Cold Days/Jim Butcher - Excellent story! I have never been disappointed by any of the Dresden Files. The characters are fierce, funny, intelligent, frightening & completely lovable or worthy of your wrath. There are so many twists and turns. You never know what direction you're heading next, you just know it's going to be one hell of a ride! I'll be anxiously awaiting the next book. Can't wait to see what everyone is going to get into next!

2. He just keeps getting better - I've been a fan of Jim's books since I first was given Fool Moon years ago. It has been fun to watch him develop as a writer over the years. He seems to delve deeper into multiple layers of mythology to introduce new characters to help propel these stories and that is fun, for me at least, to read. I won't go into any plot details, but suffice it to say this is another great Dresden novel. It contains all of the twist and turns we've come to know and love from Mr. Butcher. As I finished the book, I felt a twinge in my heart because I know that Harry Dresden's end game it coming soon. Sure, that's about books from now, but I will miss these characters once this series if over.

3. Meh... - Seems to me that someone else is writing these books and jim is signing his name to them. There was very little witty batter and the entire book, Harry was down and out. You could read the first few chapters and then skip to the last few and not miss anything in between. It was tough to get through Cold Days and this was even tougher. Where's the good story telling and suspense from Death Masks? The only thing keeping this book from getting star was that he did reveal who's behind all the insanity enveloping the world.

4. Par for the (excellent) Course - Harry Dresden - wizard for hire, ghost, and now Winter Knight back from the (almost) dead. Cold Days is a superb entry, continuing the Dresden Files tradition of having a gripping narrative that never shies away from lasting consequences - both good and bad - with a climax not quite what you may have expected. I look forward to reading the next volume of this series, and this volume has only reinforced my support of the series to would-be readers.

5. Wow - I literally could not put this book down. Idiot that I am, I downloaded it in the middle of a class, and I couldn't even put it away long enough to get back to my apartment, so I read and walked and didn't stop reading till the fat lady sang. Jim butcher continues to excel as an author. From the first Dresden book and the earlier parts of the Furies books, he has changed and shaped his writing abilities much as his characters have grown through the series, to the point where the man we're reading now is recognizable mostly in his wise cracks at considerably inappropriate moments. This book is a testament to his growing skills and has set the bar exceedingly hi for future endeavors. As for the book itself, WOW!! The reintroduction of characters, the way their growth has been displayed and the way he considerably screwed things up have created a fantastic landscape of a book. He's given himself a gigantic amount of room to play with in how he wants to take e series and I look forward to whatever he plans to do next. I almost hate myself now for having finished it in one go, wishing instead I would've given myself the time to enjoy it more thoroughly. I guess I'll just have to read it again, and wait impatiently for the next one to come out.

6. Amazing storytelling!! - Unpredictable, engaging, and surprising. You generally don't know what's going to happen next, with surprise turns at every corner. After books, you are really invested in these characters, and you begin to feel when something happens to them. Amazing storytelling, I think he's in a class of his own, no one comes close, even JK Rowling

7. Welcome back, Dresden! - It's been far too long since we had a book from Jim Butcher. And Harry Dresden is not the type of character you can just leave lying around. Harry comes out of the gate in this book in full fine form, and hits the ground running. The previous book was a bit weak in places, but this one shores up all those weaknesses and gives you a really good story to chew on, with all your favorite characters.

8. Loved it - I just finished reading it and already I consider it to be the most exciting book on the series. Everything is on a bigger scale and Jim Butcher connects the dots with previous plot points in the series. This is a must read for any Jim Butcher fan and if you haven't started to read this series, you need too. My only problem is now I have to wait a year for the next one to come out!

9. All the Dresden Series - I fell in love with Jim Butchers writing immediately, followed closely by a love for Harry Dresden of course! Considering my extensive library of classics through King & Koontz and I'd set every one of them aside to read one of the Dresden Files books or any Jim Butcher book! Can't wait till the rest of the world catches onto what a gem this author is! Love 'em!

10. At least read the book before reviewing it. . . - Champ&Gerdhr apparently "read" this book and said (in Oct. ) it was "more of the same" and gave it one star. Fantastic display of prescience, Champ--as of // it hasn't been released. Although you may have a great future as a palm reader, why don't you stay out of the reviews of books from the future!

11. How can this have a rating before it's released??? - Look, I'm as eager as anyone for this to be released. However, rating the book before then is not only stupid, it's misleading. Apple really needs to overhaul this system and limit reviews and ratings to people who have, you know, ACTUALLY PURCHASED AND READ THE DARNED BOOK! In some kind of quixotic effort at limiting the damage, I'm going to give this book a star rating, just to offset at least one premature and low rating.

1. WOW! They keep getting better! - Absolutely AMAZING! Faith Hunter has done it again! Jane continues to learn more about herself and her abilities, while taking care of others. She still wants to keep the innocent safe while catching the bad guy. As we know, vamps keep secrets for decades, and some of those secrets are finally revealed! The thing in the basement.....you didn't really think it would stay in the basement.....did you? Nope..... The action starts on the first page, and doesn't stop! There are also a couple surprises that make you say "I didn't see that coming"! I couldn't put it down! I LOVE the Jane Yellowrock series!
