1. Child’s Play in a book! - Unlike one reviewer, this was not the first Goosebumps book I ever read. That honor goes to Stay Out of the Basement. But this is a great book that proves why the series is so popular! For any horror movie fans out there, kids or adults, this is like Child’s Play in a book, only it’s not as dark because it’s a children’s book! Thrilling and creepy!

2. What a way to revisit a classic. Nostalgia for modern devices. - I was a little disappointed that Slappy is NOT THE MAIN ANTAGONIST in this book, but it was a great story overall and very fun. This was a classic in its day and still lives up to this very day. I never read it when I was a kid, but reading it now appealed to the kid within. Great story. You’ll enjoy it if you appreciate a classic R.L. Stine tale. This iBook is a solid copy, works great on my iPad Mini ()!

1. Hungry for horror? - Welcome to Dead House is the first book in the Goosebumps series. I read it as a print book, which is what I prefer. I also read the original s edition of the book, which, to me, has a better cover. This one is a spooky, chilling mystery that really keeps you guessing! A wonderful book for anyone who loves haunted house stories or zombie stories!

2. Spectacular for all ages - This was a spectacular story that had a lot of legitimately creepy moments for anyone of any age. It really didn't feel like the author held back at all for the sake of making it kid friendly. Creative, fun, super exciting haunted house story with great twists and a climax you wont be able to stop reading!

1. One of my favorite books I’ve read… EVER - I really enjoyed the book! It gave me a sense of fear and a sense of love at the same time which is difficult to Write. The book talks about facing fears, and how you can’t always face them alone but with the love and support of your friends! Overall great book, and highly recommend reading it!!! :)

1. Eh. - The Night Gardener is a spooky story about two children and their adventure as the help for a family that resides in a manor in the woods. They feel a strange presence throughout the night, as if something— or someone— is in the house as they sleep. They investigate, and figure out that the Night Man, also known as the Night Gardener, is tending to a large tree outside the house in attempt to kill everyone in the house through their own greed. They end up killing the tree and the Night Gardener. Personally, I thought this book was extremely well-written, but lacked in creepiness. I thought it was a good book, but I felt it missed the mark on the effect it was set out to give. In addition, I felt the ending could’ve been more creative and original. However, the lesson about greed and materialism along with the lesson about stories and how they affect you were good, and I felt it’s important for everyone to understand that your own wellbeing is more important than materialistic ideals. All in all, it was a pretty good book. Not the best I’ve read this summer, but good anyhow.

2. I hate reading - I hate reading and I got assigned this book for school and I loved it, I was supposed to read it over the summer and I dint know until orientation so I had days to read it and loved it. I have to admit the beginning was really boring to me but it got better. I would definitely recommend this book. I also like the few pictures at the beginning they gave you a visual of the scene and what not, so yeah. I over all thought it was good, and I consider myself a "tough book critic" since I don't like most books.

Stine takes some ingenious, unexpected twists and turns, creating a gripping, unforgettable tale! Join the master of terror for a night in a tower that makes Disney’s Tower of Terror look like something out of a fairytale!

1. A collection of horror stories that deserves to be a classic! - I’ve never seen the movie Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, but I’ve read all three of these books. Like many people, I grew up with these books and, for anyone, absolutely any reader of any age looking for a great collection of horror stories, the kind of classic chillers to be told around a campfire, these books come highly recommended! This first bone-chilling collection features a dozen nightmares like The Big Toe, The Thing, The Haunted House, Cold as Clay, The Wendigo, Room for One More, Alligators, The Hook, The White Satin Evening Gown, High Beams, and The Babysitter, among other scare fests that are guaranteed to make you scream! I recommend telling these stories in the dark to scare friends, but I recommend reading them in a brightly lit room!

2. Awesome - To all the people saying "oh the wait blah blah" and rating like one star, you're supposed to rate for the book, not the publishing. Also, yeah the book is old, but it was recently added because of the films and how popular they are.So if you say something about how long it's taking to come out, or about how old it is, you're being idiotic. These books are great and should be given more than what they're getting.

3. Why so long?? - I agree These books have been out since I was a kid I remember reading them well I was in elementary school I have been wanting to get these on my iPhone/iPad for camping with my kids as my original books has been read through so many times they have literally fallen apart my kids will be adults by the time these books come out the wait is absolutely ridiculous the books themselves to get five stars no doubt Also the wait isn’t changing just in the Apple iBooks store it’s the same story on the Kindle as well as my wife has one and we check it there too Seriously what’s going on with these books?????????????

4. The wait is a scary story. - I bought this pre-order back in April when it said it would be available in May. When May rolled around it said it’ll be expected in June. Now it’s almost June and it says August?!? I loved these books as a kid, but I hate getting the run around, especially when I already paid for it.

1. Childhood Nostalgia - I remember reading these books when I was a little kid. I can reminisce about the many times my siblings, cousins and I would all cram into a bedroom, turn off all the lights, read and reenact some of the scary stories that were in these books. I use to know a lot of the stories by heart and these books were probably the reason why I love horror films and stories. So glad that I can purchase and download this bit of childhood nostalgia.

2. Great Throwback - I’m so glad Apple added this collection to the store especially in preparation for the upcoming film! Some of these still get me to look over my shoulder every now and then! Great read, especially to fill the nostalgia meter. Always wished there were more stories though, even as a kid.

3. Ripped off - I purchased this collection here a couple years back got a new iPad and couldn’t download my books because they pulled the collection off of here. Now I have to re purchase these no thanks. Buyers beware of this apple book scam so far this was my first one but dissatisfied that I can’t read my old favorites to my kids because they screwed me.

4. Deliciously spooky - Not for the faint of heart. It’s a wonderful book to get the chills with your young readers, but keep in mind the art is dark and scary even for some adults. I always loved these books as a kid, and my nephew loves them too. Just remember to give lots of reassuring hugs before bed time. If you can make the stories goofy then very good for you.

1. BEST BOOK EVER(buy the prequels) - I have words and letter to start with; THIS. IS. AWSOME. I have been trying to go goth for awhile and when I found this series, I was so happy because I have been trying to find a vampire diaries-like book for awhile bc I like the concept but my mum said they are not age appropriate (Im in th grade). When I found this I asked to buy it and I’m not regretting it AT ALL! Great for ages st grade to whatever. Basically when you know how to read and you know what a goth is this is a good book. I haven’t gotten through the whole book and I’m almost on chapter ten but still it’s a very good book, pls but the prequels. Thanks for your time.

2. My sister the vampire switched - I thought this book was really good but it kind of repeated once or twice but for the most part it was really good. I really recommend this book for any one and up but younger could read it too but I think it is more for that age. Have fun reading it! Oh and it is funny!

1. Great Classic Tale with a DEEPER Story! - Another book by the Great R.L. Stine that I hadn’t read until now. What a total misdirection! This book is not about a shark, I’ll just say that. What a great story. You’ll enjoy it if you appreciate a classic R.L. Stine tale. This iBook is a solid copy, works great on my iPad Mini ()!

1. Great book on its own - Yes, this story is "just" like the tv Christmas special. However, the illustrations are unique/cutesy. My family owns both a physical copy of this book (with the equally cute sticker sheets) as well as the ibooks version (definitely the lesser priced of the two). Don't know why, but the story feels much more immersive when read on iPad. Definitely a year-round favorite!

Not Martin I think the real Martin tricked everyone by making it seem like Sean was when really Sean was just having his tonsils taken out and not having his leg removed the real Martin got out of it by Making them think Sean was Martin and not him the real Martin might be insane.

1. Vamps - I love the story since I've read three other books before this one so I love the series. I love the story since Olivia and Ivy find out who there father is and they try to make Mr. Vega stay in Franklin Grove rather than moving to Europe. They try using a presentation on what's bad about Europe and what's good about Franklin Grove. They also try to use romance between Alice and Mr. Vega but it doesn't work out since they begin arguing. They also try to use a job offer in Franklin Grove to try to make him stay but even when Mr. Grovsner offers a job to their father he refuses. The twins think that they can never convince their father and decide to go bowling but are surprised when it turns out to be a good by party for Ivy. They think to have a party for their father and invite everyone they can think of. Later they

Every night I stay up late to read some more chapters. This book is so shocking and interesting that you can't get your hands off the book! Well anyway I just wanted to say it was a VERY good book. I IT!!!! Love, Liana Tee-HEE!!

2. Scary, but addictive! - We are now addicts of the series, and glad we finished the book, but my almost--year-old daughter was so scared she would keep reading past her bedtime, and then have nightmares! It's all good now, and she finds it a "good" scary now, but I would have liked a heads-up that it was going to really scare her! Well-written, engrossing, page-turning series! If your child likes adventure with a good scare, this is a great series for her (or him!)!!

3. People!!! - You have to read this book! I stayed up all night reading The Shadows and I just couldn't stop. I even got little chills when I was reading all alone in my room thinking that something was going to come and scare me!
Olive Dunwoody (main character) is very curious and when she finds these magical spectacles she learns that they give her the power to go through paintings. There are also cats (Haratio, Harvey, and Leopold) that guard the house and help Olive learn about the mysterious paintings. They also get her out of some sticky situations. I thought it was a very great book and I hope you will read and enjoy it!!!!!
