1. A good book ruined by grammer mistakes - This is an excellent book, I just can't help but notice the shocking amount of grammatical errors throughout this book. Whether it be stage directions that are only half italisized, bolded words that shouldn't be bolded, or the occasional double period (".." or ".," instead of just "."), there is something wrong on almost every page in the book. There are way too many mistakes to be called simple mistakes anymore. This is just the book publisher being downright careless. I am truly the ultimate Grammar Nazi. (The book itself was really good, by the way.)
2012-10-262. More relevant all the time - Miller's use of history as allegory becomes more important as ignorance re-establishes itself as king. Nowadays, it seems people want to slip into ignorance to avoid the harsh realities of a world grown too complex to comprehend. Of course, I suppose this is nothing new, but perhaps the myriad of opportunities for educating oneself make it more ironic. The Parrises of the world applaud this development because they aim to swoop in and claim their prizes. Will you keep your soul or sell it to Danforth?

1. This will be my st broadway show! - This rating is really a . out of , despite is being a screenplay i actually enjoyed this book a lot. Reading the family tree and the timeline of all HP books hit really hard! I have completed this entire series in months which is more than I’ve read in the past few years combined… Such nostalgia being able to read about the OG gang and how life turned out after Battle at Hogwarts. I will definitely be watching this screenplay on broadway.
2023-02-212. BRO FR?! - This book was terrible!! Harry Potter is normally an AMAZING book! But like seriously Rowling?! You could’ve done soooo much better… you stated in one of the Harry Potter books that VOLDEMORT CANNOT LOVE and yet ur shipping Voldemort Bellatrix?! Now they have a daughter?! Ya uh no this book is not worth anyone’s time. Sorry Rowling but this book is the worst.

2022-06-025. Terrific Read - As a huge fan of Harry Potter, I admit I have put off reading this particular novel. I felt too nostalgic about the originals because I grew up with them. I have recently reread one through seven, and was pleasantly surprised to see all the things I missed as a child, not being able to understand certain things. As an adult, I have found a new appreciation for Harry Potter and all of his trials and tribulations. I have heard from many people about their thoughts on this novel and I admit, it made me reticent to read it. Despite that however, I felt I had to read this; the eighth novel. I am very glad I did. If you can appreciate that, Harry Potter and friends, won’t behave the same as they did when they were teenagers because they are adults with jobs and kids now. That changes who you are. Is anyone reading this the same as they were when they were a teenager? I think not. As they say often, “Love is blind”.
2022-03-016. Great Harry Potter playscript!!!!! - I’m going to have to admit I’m a little disappointed that the cursed child was a play and a playscript instead of a movie and a book. But still, after deathly hallows I didn’t think there would be anything else so I loved this!! Even in the playscript you can still understand the story greatly which I think is pretty cool. Loved it!!!!!!!

I always kinda liked the fact that Voldemort wasn’t able to love anyone,BUT YET HE WAS ABLE TO HAVE A FREAKING DAUGHTER, with Bellatrix which it kinda makes sense on her side of the spectrum but Idt that he has functioning body parts that are for having a child.

2021-06-279. Love it! But one minor problem! - It’s a great book but it doesn’t make so much sense: . Voldemort has... a daughter! Seriously! Voldemort shouldn’t love anyone! He’s... Voldemort! . Dumbledore, who is usually kind and understanding, is acting so stuck-up and annoying! What’s up with that?! . Why did it have to be a play? Make it a movie and normal book! I HATE IT - My friend and i are big potter fans, but this book is... im sorry to say this but im sure that J.K rowling has written this book just because she needed the money (so is my friend). We didn't expect J.K rowling to end a book by getting married and children and etc. AND HOW IS HARRY POTTER !? How is that even possible when he is in the first harry potter book!? Sorry dear writers, i don't want to be rude, and i know how much time you have spent writing this book, but its not even worth A CENT. Why should harry grow up? Why cant he stay a teenager? This isnt real life. No need to grow up, or get married... i dont understand... just tell me WHY!? I didnt expect you... J.K rowling! I thought you were the best writer in the whole world, BUT NOT ANYMORE. Dont spend your precious money for this book. I liked the other harry potter series but id rather not to know what happens at the end if harry is a grown-up and adult person... sorry,... i would rate stars if it was possible.
2021-06-0811. BIG POTTER FAN but... - I hate this book! So many things made no sense (all timeturners were destroyed)! Albus is just a crybaby and spoilt brat, and I don’t see how Harmonie is minister of magic. The lines and dialogue are really bad (ex: Wow . Skeak. My geekiness is a quivering.) One thing I do like is how the Malfoys are good and that they make me feel bad for Scorpious. But I honestly think that Rowling was in this for the money. (Sorry big Potter fans.)
2021-04-2112. Worse than a fanfic. (Please read before buying) - There are many thing wrong with this book. First of all, why write a story that revolves around time travel if every possible item to do it was destroyed in the original series. Also, for plot convince, the time turners do not affect the user’s age depending on how far back they travelled. If that logic complies, Scorpius would be dead already and Albus would almost be dead. But no. And, Harry is humble, not a stuck-up. They made Harry how Malfloy was and Malfloy became like Harry. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg. And, since when did Voldemort have a daughter? His character isn’t supposed to be able to love. These authors did a horrible job of recreating the magic of the Jk Rowling.
2021-01-2713. Great story, needs improvement - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a great play script. There were a lot of new characters that weren’t really introduced, so it was a little confusing. The villains were also basically a copy of the villains in the Harry Potter series. And it’s pretty much repeating. Throughout the entire story, Albus and Scorpius were traveling through time. But what truly makes this story a good one is the power of story. The Harry Potter series is one incredible story, and building off of the series makes this play script amazing. I love Harry Potter, and I’m very happy that there was this story. The Harry Potter series has also taught me an important yet simple lesson. Love and friendship is the key to everything.
2020-11-2814. Ehhhhh...... - This is NOT because it’s a script. I just think this story was not well done at all. Bland villain, same old story as the original series, just not compelling at all. This “sequel” did not (no pun intended) capture the same magic as the original series. It’s completely unnecessary, and doesn’t resolve anything in the end. Please do not make this into a film, I really don’t want to see it. If there is a sequel in development, please make it a different story.

If I knew the th book was going to be like this I would have told Rowling that the th book ended perfectly and that I did not want anymore Harry,Ron or Hermione! 2020-11-1416. Stop Being Rude - I didn’t read the book I watched all the movies when I was younger then I started reading the books.. LOVED IT! But I didn’t read this one and I already see one of the reviews this person calling the author by her name as if he or she knows her. Have some respect don’t be that harsh. Also u don’t have to say it’s terrible or unreasonable just say some problems or add suggestions. Not a full on opinion essay on how much you hate the book. Honestly I’m happy there’s another book. And I don’t judge that easily that’s what makes me a bad judge I can’t be mean. And right now honestly if it is bad I’ll still live the book.

1. I loved it - Omg this book was amazing . It was detailed extremely well .you can understand everything clearly . It is shut a plot twist . The ending is so sad, I nearly cried! I really thought they were meant to me , I really thought he world understand y she did what she did and that he would love her even more for it but what happens was, crazy . He truly loved her and I believe that she will some day fall in love with him again and realize she made a mistake because she did. She left the love of her life , her children,her home . How could someone do that .there is no way she truly felt that how can she have children with this man and not be in love with him!!!! All I know is that he truly loved or loves her and he always will!!
