2. WOW - I literally cannot say enough good about Six. You know when you hear something so good it gives you chills and is just like YES, well that’s every song of this. The story hits me in the heart in so many places and the music and vocals are absolutely genius!! I can confidently say this is in my top favorite musicals. And saying this as a Hamilton fan, I actually like it better than Hamilton. Thank you to those who created this work of art!!! 3. Amazing songs! - I recently found this musical by accident. Once I heard the songs I became obsessed with them! I’ve been listening to this album all month and I haven’t got enough of it! 4. The first song tricks you - I had heard the first and the last song a billion times and expected an amazing British pop-Rock soundtrack... oh it’s only nine songs? Oh okay... oh uhh the rest just sounds like British hip hop. Tack on some cringy wordage, and self censoring, and you get a very weird, discordant, and adolescent sound for a less than exciting minutes. The first and last song sound like they are from a different musical. I gave a star basically for each of them, so there’s two.

6. Miss me with this. Stay off bway please. - This show started out as a good concept but ended up being really mediocre. However this doesn’t ever seem to matter to a large group of theater fans (ie fake theater fans) because it features a strong contemporary pop edge that doesn’t really belong on broadway, and it’s really popular on the internet. This show is easily comparable to be more chill, which is similarly a bad show that made it to bway because of a large, widespread fan base that couldn’t see the show due to geography and caused it to tank at the box office. I know they announced a broadway run and I’m annoyed. Let’s try and support more true art like the great comet.

7. Absolutely AMAZING! - Every detail and reference in this show is great! The music is obviously INCREDIBLE! It’s generally uplifting and upbeat, and definitely has mass appeal. The personality of each queen shines through and they are all interesting and entertaining. Along with all of these amazing characteristics of the show, the music styles, lyrics, and general sound is very creative! I particularly liked how ‘Ex-Wives’ has a techno remix of ‘Green-selves’! /! 4. Great for those who loved Film ! - In the same way that I enjoyed the film; I’ve also enjoyed the original album. The songs in this album remind me of the film every time I listen to it. I don’t find that the percussion/background sounds shadow the lyrics to any of the songs. Keep in mind the central theme to the story is the circus, this explains the choice to raise the percussion levels. The songs together tell the story of the film (all are great) but my favorite songs are: Come Alive, The Greatest Show, The Other Side and Never Enough.

6. Terrible - Don’t know where to start. I have many Disney soundtracks. This one simply doesn’t have the caliber of previous. Main singers voice although pleasant as talking just can’t sing well. 3. Amazing!!! - If this movie doesn’t impress people, I don’t know what will. Seriously! I was just watching it earlier today with my cousins, and I was lost in the music the whole time. I grew up watching the original Sing, and nothing made me happier than to see the sequel to one of my favorite childhood movies. And to all you haters, these people worked extremely hard and put in a tremendous amount of effort to make this a good movie. There’s no reason to make them feel bad just because of your opinion. With that being said, it really is an incredible movie and you should definitely go watch it if you haven’t already, and I would totally recommend buying the soundtrack.

1. Tony Winner for Best Score - I've read a number of non-fiction and novels about Henry VIII's wives. I first heard about this musical when it was getting attention in the UK and found the original cast recording. I've also seen performances by the original West End and Broadway casts on YouTube. The songs are awesome! There's dramatic license but you get a good overview about each of the wives in their individual songs. Now, here's the the Broadway version with additional tracks/content! The live album really captures the magic that these voices make every night on stage. 1. Slime Tutorial FTW - About six months ago, I was surfing on YouTube when a “slime tutorial” popped up on my feed, but the thumbnail obviously wasn’t about the title. Curiosity got the best of me and I spent the next two hours watching this masterpiece, I was beyond enthralled with it all. Immediately after, I bought the soundtrack and been listening to it frequently. I introduced my daughters to it, and they too love it. 3. Incredible Musicians and Genius Songwriting - Absolutely amazing musical. I’ve been following Anaïs Mitchell’s music since she came out with the original Hadestown album, and to see it progress from an Original Cast to a Broadway performance has been absolutely amazing, and each time its only gotten better. I hope to one day see this amazing musical in person, but until then the haunting lyrics and heartwarming story will continue to bless my ears.

4. Awesome! Gapless playback problem though - Honestly, amazing album. When the whole thing was finally released it was like finally getting it, you know? BUT, between "Epic II" and "Chant" there is an unsightly (unsoundly?) gap when the songs should just flow into each other. This is not Apple's problem, it happens on the Spotify version too. Compare it to the segue of "Come Home With Me" into "Wedding Song" - seamless as it should be. Buy it anyway though. ;)

8. Stop giving one star reviews for itunes fault. - This soundtrack is just beautiful, this is by far one of if not my most favourite musicals. It’s just so unique. Yes I had trouble getting it. I had to actually cancel my preorder and re-obtain it but that seemed to work for me. But please for the love of pete stop giving the album one star for an issue on Apple’s end. You are ruining it’s rating! Give it the proper rating but have the title say something like wont download. Or better yet, if you can’t download it yet, don’t review it yet.

Beautiful BUT - Look don’t get me wrong, this album is FANTASTIC sort of st of all: The songs don’t download in the correct order so you have to make a playlist to listen to it correctly SECONDLY (and this is much more frustrating, it that the transitions between songs is botched in some places. For example Epic II into Chant is clunky and it sounds like it should flow well but it doesn’t for some reason and it’s one of the best parts of the show, so it’s quite frustrating to see it so sloppy. Also quite frankly even worse is Doubt Comes In into Road to Hell Reprise sounds like the end of the first song is cut off instead them flowing together, when in the show it flowed beautifully so it kind of ruins the ending. Please fix this ITunes

10. Love this show and album but iTUNES is the worst! - I am very disappointed in how the preorder of this album has rolled out. I paid for the entire album to get songs as they were released which of course didn’t work. Now that the whole album has been released they were not in the correct order. 1. Majestic in every way. - One of the greatest soundtracks for a film. I’ve had it for years, and I’m never letting go. This soundtrack showcases what’s so epic and beautiful about The Lion King, and why most films pale in comparison. In terms of Han’s Zimmer’s score, which is somewhat represented on this album with the tracks “This Land”, “...To Die For”, and “King of Pride Rock”, the music is completely breathtaking and intensely euphoric. For me, the score for this film can only be bested by John Williams’ score for Star Wars, which is literally perfect. As for the musical tracks on this album, the music and lyrics by Sirs Elton John and Tim Rice in songs like “Circle of Life” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” are just as majestic as the score, while some tracks like “Hakuna Matata” and “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” are more upbeat and loose than the more serious tone of the others. Then there’s “Be Prepared”, which kind of sticks out like a sore thumb on the album with its dark tone and maniacal themes, but still manages to find a place amongst the other tracks. The rest of the songs on the album are covers of “Circle of Life”, “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King”, and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Sir Elton John. The best out of all three of these is the last one by far, and is my personal favorite song on the album. Overall, this album is just amazing in every way, and I’d encourage every fan of the film to check it out.

1. Sing along tempting but not wise - This is one of the greatest modern stage musicals, hardly a dud in its impressive libretto and composition. I also feel that the original London cast is the best recording I’ve come across. Ninety percent of the time I play it I get caught attempting to belt it out with these stars and go silent in embarrassment. Never learn my lesson, though. The next time I do it again.

1. WOW - I was lucky enough to see this show in early previews at Arena Stage, and let me just say, I was beyond blown away. Being a person eho struggles with social anxiety, I relate to this soundtrack on a personal level that I now know some other people do as well. 2. My First and Favorite Musical - I started using it as background music for drawing and immediately noticed how well the music was written and how amazing the musical was. I related to this musical on a deep emotional level and it’s helped me out of some rough mental breakdowns, as someone who suffers from anxiety and suicidal thoughts, this musical is really my comfort musical. 6. Left Me Speechless - If you haven’t seen Dear Evan Hansen, watch it now. Then come back and buy the soundtrack. The music is phenomenal. I’ve seen the show two times now and by the time Words Fail comes, I’m sobbing my eyes out. Everything about DEH just changes a person. It’s such a sad, heavy topic but is still full of heart and funny. The soundtrack, however, won’t make sense unless you watch the musical or read the script first. Most of the music won’t make sense unless you watch/read the musical. But yes, totally buy it if you are into musicals or just really want some good music to listen to. 2. Our most vivid memory - My wife and I were married // in Dearborn, Michigan. We were lucky enough to experience main floor seats for the original cast production on the evening of Tuesday, October , while on our honeymoon in London. An amazing performance! Even moreso, as it was The Phantom's opening week at Her Majesty's Theatre. (The first performance was a charity performance on // for some members of the Royal Family.) This soundtrack is exactly as we remember it, having been astounded by Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman performing live. Unforgettable to this day years later.

5. The First Musical To Make Me Cry In A Long Time - Just... wow. I avoided this for a while because Beetlejuice is one of my favorite movies and was a bit turned off to a song called “Dead Mom” for personal reasons, but having heard it, I wish I listened to this a lot sooner. 4. Love this Music! - I love Hamilton, and when it was introduced to Disney plus, I did nothing but watch it for some time. This is the clean version, which is great. The degree of how clean it is, is not full. There are a few minor swear words scattered throughout, but nothing I would be concerned about. 1. Its Not the Movie... Thank God! - "Boo Hoo, its not the movie soundtrack... RUN, don't walk away from this... iTunes missed the boat on this one..." Ugh, what a bunch of shallow, uninformed noodnicks. This is the ORIGINAL musical treatment of this material. The movie came out years later, was musically inferior--as was the Jesus Christ Superstar film/soundtrack when compared to THAT original concept album--and was extremely dated only a few years after its release, as were most late s/early s "church of what's happening now" films. The original album however, unencumbered by the visual trappings of the early s, has remained timeless, to this day. Its like comparing the Beatles Sgt. Pepper album to the movie version and declaring that, well, the original album is okaaaaay, but, Oh my god, where's Peter Frampton? Okay, maybe that's a bit harsh, as many original Godspell performers were also in the film, but for the most part, lets face it, any filmed portrayal of a musical piece has been historically inferior music-wise to the original: Jesus Christ Super Star, Evita, Tommy, etc., etc.. Maybe its because in these originals, the artists were able to catch lightning in a bottle, for a moment in time, and that simply can't be reproduced in a canned cinematic setting, years later, utilizing cheesey visuals while striving for mass appeal and box office returns. So please, broaden your outlook beyond what they showed on TV last month and give the originals their due.

And papasmack's comment that Peggy's singing of "By My Side" "sounds like Phoebe Snow" is nothing short of moronic, if only for the fact that her voice sounds NOTHING LIKE Phoebe Snow's. If you guys are going to attack other musicians, it might behoove you to have some solid facts to back up your accusations before you start lobbing them. I'm not going to climb up on a pedestal and say, in response to the naysayers here, that one of these two is better than the other--I'm taking the high road and saying what I believe a lot of us feel: that BOTH recordings have merit. 4. AMAZING!!! - This show has a lot of heart. It's funny too. I was in it for my musical theater workshop class. I got a solo for Bless the Lord which is one of the best songs in the show. I got a couple of lines. The ending is so sad and I actually cried during rehearsal and the shows. But most of the music is so upbeat and fun. So, I recommend you to get this album. Also, if there is ever an opportunity to see this show... go see it! It's amazing. It will make you wish that you were up onstage.

I'm in a production of this show right now and it's amazing (and I'm not even Christian). The only issue I have is Lamar Alford, who doesn't seem to have understood that Godspell is a musical and not an opera ; I can't stand to hear him sing "All Good Gifts" and he ruins a lot of the other songs with his awful singing. 8. I am so down for What’s My Name! - I have never been a Descendants girl. I thought the first movie was majorly cheesy and cliche, but somehow I found myself watching the second one. 1. Yes, And No - Remembering myself watching this movie as a child I adored the music in it. And now finding the album was amazing, but being a movie I originally wanted the songs with lyrics but all the good ones were “Album Only”. So I did buy the album, I myself enjoy listening to a movie’s score but I know a few folks who don’t. So If you’re one who doesn’t enjoy listening to a movies score (background music) than I’d say get the few songs you like and not the whole album. But if you do like it than % get the album because the score for this movie is awesome!!

Why can't I buy this Korean Version on CD or MP?? - I live in America, and I'm not a big disney fan, but I do like Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, and The Lion King movies/soundtracks a lot. But for this soundtrack, I'm looking for 'Aladdin (Korean Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)', whitch I can't seem to find it on CD or MP. 2. Aladdin is Amazing - I’m typically not a fan of DISNEY princess movies. But with Will Smith as the genie ready made “FRIEND LIKE ME” the centerpiece of the movie for me. Adding that Fresh Prince attitude really added some much needed excitement to a remake of Aladdin. Will Smith killed it as Genie and made this one of the best movies of . 3. VERY GOOD - Honestly, I absolutely loved how they added a bit of a modern spin to some of the songs. If you keep comparing it to the OG then STOP!! You can’t look at something and be like “it wasn’t as good as the old one”! You need to at least give these people some credit for trying their best if that’s your opinion. 4. Outstanding!!! - Absolutely amazing!! I loved all the music and the movie!! Will smith and the whole cast did a phenomenal job! The music and some of the performances might have been better than the animated. I’m sure I will get hate for that comment. You can’t compare the movies it’s like comparing apples and oranges. That being said. There were things in the live action that added depth to the characters and songs that made me like it more. And there were things they left out from the animated that made me disappointed. So you can’t compare. Both animated and live action did phenomenal!

1. Memories - When I was growing up, my Mum used to play albums, yes those flat vinyl things, of Broadway musicals. She taught me to love the music and words and if you can't understand them you must not have much command of the English language. I learned the words of many musicals I'd never see, but loved to listen to as they told a story. Camelot is by far one of my favorites. And it was Richard Harris, Julie Andrews and many other actors that couldn't necessarily sing that well, but the emotion in the songs is what I love. Take a music appreciation course to "get" these older musicals.

2. Sorry, but no - Not the best. Julie Andrews is, as always, amazing, but she sing-speaks a lot of the time on this recording. The other cast members all did well, except for whoever sings "Follow Me", the most boring song ever performed. The orchestrations are good, and the music is okay (but fails to live up to Gigi or My Fair Lady), but the lyrics are HORRENDOUS. They're bloody and gory and, quite frankly, don't make any sense. What could have been a five-star recording is ruined by Alan J. Lerner's horrible lyrics.

Outstanding score stands the test of time - Lerner and Lowe's follow-up to "My Fair Lady" remains one of the best top-to-bottom scores in Broadway history, even if the musical itself is somwhat less than engaging. Even Richard Burton's half-singing, half talking-in-pitch effort is outstanding, and Robert Goulet had one of the best male stage voices of all time. Julie Andrews? Sublime. Overlooked nugget: "Before I Gaze At You Again." I have downloaded favorite songs from the show over the years -- "What Do the Simple Folk Do?, "The Simple Joys of Maidenhood" -- and finally decided to just buy the whole thing at the iTunes bargain price of $.. Love it.

C'est Moi! - This was such an AWESOME musical, such fantastic music (and i had a good ear for it down in the pit!), great lyrics, very powerful and moving storyline. by far my favorite musical of all, this album is a MUST HAVE FOR ETERNITY. 5. I love track , Camelot - I am very impressed with the singing of Richard Burton. He has a nice set of pipes. Some of the other songs like Follow Me, following Camelot are for lack of a better word tiresome. If you don't want the whole album, then extract what you like with some $. purchases. For those who don't already know, . . . - . . . if you look carefully at the album graphics, you'll learn that the late Robert Goulet, Roddy McDowell, and Robert Coote co-star, and not every track (other than the instrumentals) is sung by J.A. & R.B.! Tracks and are Robert Goulet, solo! You may fix these credits once you buy, but not before. Do an iTunes search for Goulet, and this album will not turn up. Fie! Unfortunately Apple is not contractually compelled to display individual track credits accurately, and that's up to us, the knowledgeable consumers.

7. Better if it had all the songs! - I love Camelot and Julie Andrews! She is my idol!! I hate how iTunes won't let you buy some songs unless you buy the whole entire album. Its like blackmail! 8. Nothing wrong with Mordred - I respectfully disagree with the person who felt Mordred isn't up to par in this recording. Mordred sings only one song in the show, "The Seven Deadly Sins", which is less than . minutes. Would you cast the villain in your show with such a short song on singing ability alone? Mordred was played/sung by the magnificent Roddy McDowall, who by all record was outstanding in his only Broadway musical. And I think he brings just enough to the song to make it work. He's in tune with wonderful phrasing and variety in delivery. I guess you don't care for Rex Harrison or Yul Brenner either? :)

10. Good singers, but... - I HATE THEIR MORDRED! Admittedly, I have something of a fixation with the cunning, egotistical, evil characters ever-present in these plays. HOWEVER. They must be played by singers who do not sound too snide or like they could actually beat anyone up. I like all of the singers, but I'm going to have to turn to the London recording for Mordred.

2. Stage is better but this is Great! - Julie Andrews created this role but at the time she was a unkown in movies . The movie studieo at the time kicked them selfs becouse of the big slash Julie made in Mary Poppins. I remember this even though at the time I was a child . I feel in love with Audrey Hepburn . She became Elisea Dolittle . I went with my mother to the New York opening . I even have the book showing how it was made . I was . We sat frist row balcany . I did not know of the out stading voice of Marni Nixon. The blend made both of them out stading . The great acting of Audrey and the great voice of Marni . I now think of this to date as one of my favorite muscial movies . If you love older movie . This is one of the best . The album is wonderful . I just love it .

4. Pales in comparison to Julie Andrews, but still excellent - I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND THE SOUNDTRACK! Andre Previn's orchestrations are beautiful, Rex Harrison's Higgins is better than ever, and Marni Nixon does a lovely job as well. The only problem I have is the dialogue and sound effects on the bonus tracks...ugh...but it's still worth the $. Of course, my favorite recording is the Julie Andrews one, but this is a must-have for any musical fan!

5. I Love This MOVIE!!!!!!!! - This is a great soundtrack. A few of the songs I think Julie Andrews (who played Eliza in the Broadway play) did better, especially songs with the cockney accent such as Wouldn't It Be Loverly & Just You Wait. 8. It deserves better than this.... - This is simply one of the most terribly-produced movie musical soundtracks I have ever heard. Don't get me wrong, the music is excellent, and the performances are excellent, but whoever arranged for this reissue deserves to be shot. The track "The Flower Market" is typical of its perverseness: along with the beautiful music, one can hear random people shouting, horns honking, and wheels driving over the London cobbles. Then suddenly the music stop, a character begins a line of dialogue, only to be interrupted by an ugly fadeout. Thankfully, Andre Previn's magnificent arrangement of the overture is not hampered by such problems, and neither are the first four Eliza solos. The pitiful thing about this is that the performances are really worth preserving, even if they do not quite match up to the Original Broadway Cast. Marni Nixon dubs Audrey Hepburn very well, and Bill Shirley offers up the most moving rendition of "The Street Where You Live" ever. I have heard that the SACD reissue is a vast improvement upon this. Let's hope so.

9. I Love This Musical - I love the movie. Only stars because iTunes is sneaky. I just bought the album b/c I saw Audrey Hepburn on the album cover and I thought it would be her voice on the soundtrack. No worries, the lady plays Eliza does an okay good job. Think twice if you really want Audrey b/c Marni does a slightly different interpretation.

10. Good, but not Great - I'm sure if you're a fan of Marni Nixon's then you'll enjoy this, but her renditions of Eliza's songs are horrible. I'm not even that big of a fan of Julie Andrew, but she is a wonderful Eliza. Marni Nixon doesn't seem to have the range of Julie, so she has to sing some things a bit lower (such as the end of "Show Me"). Marni Nixon's cockney accent is atrocious in "Just You Wait" (my favorite song) and "Wouldn't it be Loverly". Rex Harrison is amazing, though, and there's just something about his voice that I love. If you are a fan of the musical buy the original Broadway/London soundtrack with Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison and if you like the movie's rendition better, buy the movie soundtrack. Simple as that. (I do feel horrible for Audrey Hepburn and how they snubbed her after doing this movie, though)

11. THE REAL SOUNDTRACK! - I thought iTunes only had the Julie Andrews version of My Fair Lady for a while, and I was mildly devastated. As one of my favorite musicals, I really wanted THIS soundtrack. Julie Andrews is one of my absolute favorite actresses, but in My Fair Lady, I found her accent atrocious and demeaning to the show. When I finally found this, I was very happy. It's the perfect representation of an endearing show. Unfortunately, with so many instrumental parts, I didn't want to buy the whole album, even though it's quite well priced. You get a lot for your money! Some of the songs I recommend are: Why Can't the English? Wouldn't It Be Loverly Just You Wait The Rain in Spain I Could Have Danced All Night On the Street Where You Live Show Me and Get Me To the Church On Time Stellar.

3. Operatic but still hummable - First, the reviewer, “babby woofy,” commented he/she/they hate opera and gave it one star. What a shame they lowered the average rating because they didn’t understand what a REVIEW is. The purpose of a music review is to rate the recording based on the its merits. Since they wouldn’t like anything in this genre anyway, their review has nothing to do with the merits of this particular recording; so why bother reviewing it in the first place? Second, another reviewer said something like, “The movie was good, but the book was better.” Movie…book…really? This is a MUSIC review, not a literary or film critique! Sorry for venting. Phantom includes some haunting melodies, a vocally challenging score, and even some “hummable” tunes. I chose the film version over the original cast because I was particularly interested in this arrangement of Masquerade, but either version is good.

2. A christian perspective of the little mermaid - I don’t aopreciate this movie. (Not to be mean!). It’s not only inappropriate but full of witchcraft and evil. God doesn’t want us to watch things like that. In the Bible it says we need to think pure and holy thoughts. Same goes with what kinds of movies we watch. It is up to Christians to decide what types of movies to watch that would be God honoring. Parents should especially be careful what they allow their kids to watch. 2. The best Joseph ever! - For those of us who live in Chicago and went to see the musical this is a must-have album! Donny Osmond is outstanding as Joseph and the rest of the cast are outstanding as well! How happy I am that I have been able to listen to ALL the cast from that musical, first on cd, now on my iPhone. I must also say that Donny’s version of Close Every Door is one of the best recordings of an Andrew Lloyd Weber song that I’ve ever heard! I’m surprised this only just came to ITunes ( does anyone think The Masked Singer might have had something to do with it being here now?), but better late than never. Anyway, I highly recommend this album to all who love Andrew Lloyd Weber. You won’t regret getting it!
