1. Shut up About Thriller - You people complaining about "Thriller" need to shut up and educate yourself. Songs have to be LICENSED to be put on these compilations. They just can't put any song they want on a compilation. THEY NEED PERMISSION. All of you clowns whining about "Thriller" probably have the album anyway. Stop being ignorant and get a clue. This is a great compilation of Halloween-themed songs.

2. Lock, Shock and Barrel - Aside from omitting some Halloween songs and making every track, album only. This is definitely a solid collection. You would think I’d be more annoyed and only give the album four stars. I already own most of the tracks. As for tracks I felt missing. I just made my own playlist. I’m not going to give a five star album a lower score. Be grateful it’s only $.

3. Just wow! - The person who gets upset about this album being released on / are the short sighted and simple minded that George Bush loved back when / just happened. I'm sure they don't get upset about a Christmas album being released on December th. Some people really need to get a hold of themselves before they get all worked about something that's come and gone a long long time ago. Tragedies are always going to happen, that doesn't mean we stop living our lives. The person who got upset about this are the ones the terrorist love as well.

1. An Excellent Pick - I wandered around iTunes just trying to find something I could put on a loop and play at the front window Halloween night. Finally, after mistakenly choosing some white noise albums and authentic recordings of what seemed to be actual torture, I found this. This CD is perfect, creepy but not over the top. All the usual scary sounds you need for a good Halloween night.

2. Exactly what I was looking for ... - This is exactly what I was looking for. Someone in an earlier review mentioned the Disney "scary sounds" record they remembered from their youth. I have that Disney record, "Chilling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House," circa , and I think this is far better for using on Halloween night for the trick-or-treaters. The Disney record seems a tad juvenile, and one track on the record—entitled Chinese Water Torture—is downright offensive (think fake Chinese "words" from a torture victim). This K-tel Halloween album strikes a good balance between kid-appropriate and truly scary.

3. Spooky Sounds - I bought this album at the last minute and was very pleased. Overall, the album has a dark, hypnotic ryhthm composed of monster groans, torture chamber screams reminiscent of the movie "Saw," demonic wails and other, almost subliminal, eery effects. Perfect for Halloween, but would also be excellent for a haunted house, where you could act out the sounds to create a powerfully scary production!

4. Great for Halloween Night! - I remember Disney having an album when I was little that had sounds from their haunted house and it was always a big hit at our house with the trick-or-treaters. While I couldn't find that album (from the 's) I selected this album to play Halloween night. I knew it was a success when one of the little kids heard the howls and said "Next house"! Only down side is that it is too short but a very good price for what you get!

5. Scary Sounds of Halloween - I just bought this so I could play it at a kids Halloween school party. It was a hit. The background ambience was great - the boys loved it. Not too ghoulish, but plenty creepy. At home, my dog joined in on the wolves howling. Very funny. I'm going to play it outside for trick or treaters - I'm sure it'll be a fun addition to the night. This is just like the creepy records we had when we were little - fun for the atmosphere.

7. Perfect sounds from the bushes on Halloween - If you are looking for spooky laughter, howling beasts, creaking doors to drippy hallways and haunting background music coming from the bushes or a front window on Halloween to set the mood for trick or treaters...this is what you are looking for. My mom had the "LP" of something like this when I was a kid and we loved it. I am thrilled to find the same for my kids!!

8. Perfect for what it is - We played this on Halloween night through some speakers I had rigged up out front of our house, and the Trick-or-Treaters loved it! It's hokey, corny, cheesy, and utterly, unabashedly fun. If you want something to play on your hi-fi system and scare the bejeezus outta yourself, look somewhere else. But for pure Halloween kicks, this is a great buy.

1. Poor Quality - I have most of these sounds on an old BBC sound effect LP from years ago! What a rip off, it is just a mash of these dated sounds. It may be a cheap album, but trust me, your money is better spent on something like Ultimate Horror Sounds. Just compare sound quality before you buy and you will see what I mean. This awful.

2. Scary Tracks! - Simply Scary and Spooky. I like it! 'Halloween The Lighter Side' by 'BANDGARD' is another Halloween iTunes album that I'd recommend with this one. Along with this Halloween album I'd recommend 'NOOSHI' also found here on iTunes. I love to discover great Halloween albums and add them to my collection.

3. Couldnt scare a child - I have a son thats affraid of everything. And i mean everything. When i stumbled upon this album and bought it and tried to scare him he didnt even care at all and wasnt affraid the slightest bit. Who ever wrote this tried hard with the album but it didnt scare anyone. Your friends looking out for you rob and will.

1. Love it! - I love the song ghostbusters in this album. I think it is better than the original song from the actual movie. It’s so hip pop and poppy. And It’s an faster version of the actual song. Also, I’m surprised by the videos. I mean, I love kids bob! I just watched the dance on YouTube and IT IS THE BEST DANCE EVER!!!!!! I mean some of the dance moves are the same as the just dance version. Like the running part and the moving part. I mean, do you have a Y.M.C.A. dance video for me to watch??? After all, I love that song. I love everything.

2. The Monster Mash - What would Hallowe'en be without "The Monster Mash"? It's a song that comes around once a year and it's always fun to hear. It's also one of the few dedicated Hallowe'en songs. With Bobby Pickett's passing in April , he can be sure he has left a legacy which will always bring a smile to the face.

Novelty "Mash" is what it is - Bobby "Boris" Pickett's "Monster Mash" has become a Halloween staple, and the novelty recording has its place in the rock 'n' roll pantheon for what it is: an amusing song of its time that all remember fondly, either from its original incarnation or its mid-'s re-release. It has not dated particularly well, and the performance is rather timid, certainly not a standout from its era. Nonetheless, it produces warm memories and is worthwhile as a novelty song. I downloaded it for a "History of Rock 'N' Roll" CD collection I'm compiling but can't see myself listening to it often in other forums.

4. Monster Mash - WARNING: This is NOT the original. Although Bobby (or the ghost of "Boris") does an fine re-recording, it is not as it was in the day. I guess they do this re-recording thing to generate new income or the original master tapes were lost...whatever, I dislike the redo's. It does sound like they did find and used the original backing tapes (instruments, labratory boiling over effects and chorus). Actually, if you were not real keen on inflections in the original you probably will swear it was the original...it is NOT.

1. D TV taken from vinyl source - I was pretty excited to find Elvira's single "D TV" as an exclusive music download on ITunes. So I didn't hesitate to purchase it. I couldn't be more disappointed in discovering that this track is taken from a vinyl source. Towards the end as the song is fading out you can hear pops and crackles. I have the original single and my personal copy is ten times in better shape without any vinyl surface noise! Can't believe they couldn't have found a better copy if they had to go and use a vinyl source.

2. Oh Hi Guys! Come on in! - Finally Elvira songs available on iTunes! I am thrilled that such gems have been included on this album. I would like to see a deluxe version including the full length version of "Here I Am", alternative versions of "D TV", "Trick or Treat", and (if the songs were ever recorded) "Rats in my Hair", and "Breather" ! I am with the others; MORE ELVIRA ON iTUNES! :) The alt. version of "Once Bitten" has a cool spoken word piece by Elvira. Wo whaddya say? Vol. available at a car wash near you?

3. Halloween Must Have!! - This is a long awaited album/collection of songs from her thre albums. If you were able to pick of the cds and have some songs already there are still some jems in this collection that have not been available such as a full version of the Elvira Theme and Here I am. Full Moon is also very hard to find on CD I here fans are still upset the a track called Trick Or Treat was not included but maybe it will be on Vol !

4. Elvira is the Queen of Halloween! - Finally a compilation of Elvira's greatest songs especially her finale song from her camp movie premiere! It's great to have these classics all together but as a true fan I want more more more! This is a great start for any true Elvira fan who have not purchased all her Haunted Hits albums! A must for Elvira enthusiasts!

1. Oh god - Hello. Thank you for reading this. The only reason I gave this two stars was because the only good song was disturbia. I absolutely HATE Kidz bop. It’s really awful to hear. Around Kindergarten (I’m in th grade now), My teacher would make us do a GoNoodle that had Kidz bop on it. The song on it was fight song. Even years ago (I’m currently) I hated that song. And Kidz bop did it? That’s just bad, terrible, awful, and a disgrace to humanity mixed together. If anyone is interested in knowing when this was made, I made this on February th . This day was a Wednesday. Postscript: I apologize for long paragraph. Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion. I think Kidz Bop is awful but it is not a bad thing if you like them. 1. TERRIFYING! - Lots of layers, well made, great quality sounds that are TERRIFYING and spooky as hell! Each track has a lot of details and its supper suspenseful. If you want to scare the kids trick or treating, or their parents or your own spouse who is cheating on you or your kid who is never doing his homework, play this album this Halloween.
