1. A Surprising Christmas Classic - I would never think that an N Sync Christmas album would be any good, but it's surprisingly one of my favorites I play on heavy rotation year after year. They are effervescent, the original tunes are a nice change of pace, and I like that all five guys are featured. Give it a shot--you may be pleasantly surprised.

2. EVERYTHING - This is one of the greatest Christmas albums of all time. I don't understand how it isn't more popular! It's difficult to make new Christmas songs, but "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" and "Kiss Me at Midnight" are so refreshing. Also, not to be skipped is their riveting rendition of "O Holy Night." It's like a little angel with a bleach blonde-tipped fro and his friends are sitting on your shoulder singing into your ear. NSYNC for the win, y'all It's September and "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" just came on my shuffle, but I didn't even skip it BECAUSE IT'S THAT GOOD.

3. Best Modern Christmas Album - I love the old school Christmas songs (Burl Ives, anyone) and of course good ol' Charlie Brown. But the best modern Christmas CD, hands down, is this one. I may play it year round (though you won't hear me say that in person) and my four year old constantly asks for the song by "those boys." Come on back, 'Nsync!

4. Good voices, no real yule tide feeling - These guys have great voices. They just package it in crap and empty pop noise. On most songs, you just don't feel any emotion. Most are just flat and empty pop pre-packaged functions of profitibility. Many songs seem phoned in. Their vocals are actually good, though, when they drop all the shallow pretense. For instance, Oh Holy Night is pretty good as it's just their vocals. There's some semblance of a soul there. Aside from three songs, i don't want most of this music to affect my holidays.

4. Christmas came early and I’m okay with that! - I didn’t know if Kelly could top her wrapped in red album, but this is just as good! It’s a divorce album sprinkled with Christmas, while also including some classics. My two favorite original songs on the album are Glow and Santa Can’t You Hear me. My favorite cover is Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. I know it’s only October but this album is def going to be thrown in my Christmas rotation

3. Lifelong Rocker - I’ve been listening to rock my whole life and I consider Mariah Carey to be the greatest and best vocalist of all time. So my playlist consists of Zeppelin, blues, Kenny Wayne, Free, CCR, Joe Bonamasssa (et al.) and...Mariah. Yup. She’s just the best! 5. How A Deluxe Should Be Done - I’ve had this album physically for many years before picking up a couple songs from iTunes (not sure why I bought them), and those purchases are still included with this deluxe version. Not all artists do this when releasing a deluxe version, so I'm glad this classic permits it and will pick some of these tracks up as the holiday gets closer.

1. A most wonderful time, INDEED!!!! - The lead track makes the point Crystalized clear. With this long-awaited ( years for me), Christmas came almost two months early. And yes, it was well, definitely well worth the wait. Each successive track compounds just how special this collection truly is. Although the true diamonds are nestled within, every single track is its own special gem. Intertwined with exceptional nods to the s, none stands out more than what I consider a personal Christmas gift—Only You. YES, the Yazoo one. I still feel overjoyed and tears of joy stream even now (almost two years later). Definitively the CROWN JEWEL of my ongoing Covers project. There is so much significance to this single track, an entirely separate review of just this one single would consume a few pages. Even more as a Christmas gift, Christmas features extraordinary and unexpected renditions of tracks originally made notable by Connie Francis, The Pretenders, and (yes, another s nod), The Waitresses. And as Kylie does every time, surpass my expectations, Christmas Wrapping features yet another s tribute, a duet with Iggy Pop. Yes, NOT A TYPO! 2. Every day's like Christmas...with Kylie. - I'll admit -- I had a LOT of reservations when I heard Kylie was doing a Christmas album. Holiday albums are SO easy to ruin, because we expect classics to stay classics, and often the "new" songs are really cheesy. I've been a fan of hers since ', and I own everything she's ever done. In my mind she is the TRUE queen of pop. Still -- a Christmas album was going to be a really "iffy" venture. Thankfully, Kylie is Kylie. This album is destined to become a holiday classic. There is not a single track that deserves to be skipped. My personal favourites include "Every Day's like Christmas" (check out the video!!), "Christmas Wrapping" (a hilarious holiday romp with Iggy Pop), "White December", and "Only You" -- a beautiful remake of the 's Yazoo hit. Don't let your holidays pass without adding this exceptional album from one of the world's finest entertainers!

3. Great Album - I've been listening to Kylie since I was in the third grade. I never thought she would release a Christmas album. It just didn't seem to be her style, but this album is a pleasant surprise. She has such a sultry voice and puts a lot of feeling into singing these classic Christmas songs. Highly recommended.

5. Kylie's Timeless Dip Into Christmas! - I am a very biased Kylie Minogue fan. I do not, however, love everything she has done. I appreciate the experimentation with form, but it does not always work. I was worried about this one. I love Christmas music but a lot of contemporary Christmas doesn’t work for me. I like my holiday tunes really Christmassy, and I was worried they’d tried some new-fangled dance/pop updates to classics with one or two new melody-free new songs. That did not happen. This is a very traditional Christmas album that works on nearly every level. The production is seasonally appropriate with big, brassy, jingle-filled upbeat songs and beautiful, warm ballads. Kylie’s voice is what it is (haters gonna hate), but she can use it to beautiful effect and it has never sounded better. Standouts include the Chris Martin-penned “Every Day’s Like Christmas,” “ Miles,” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” Kylie also co-wrote a couple of upbeat gems - “White December” and “Christmas Isn’t Christmas ’Til You Get Here;” they embrace the season and they’re fun additions to the holidays. This could have gone very wrong - an EDM, trying to hard to get on the radio album, for example. None of that here. The one disco song is a fun duet with her sister and for this album, it’s more of a novelty and because it’s the only one, its great. Invite the friends over, get the fire roaring, enjoy!

I adore her artistry and her persona alike. Having her do a Christmas compilation is no different. She is the best blend of sexy and class and that will undeniably transcend on these tracks. She is a goddess, with a voice cut straight from a tapestry of gold!

8. Kylie Joy! - This is one of the best Christmas gifts ever. Cannot wait to be delighted by Kylie and her magical voice. 2. A Christmas Album I’ll play on REPEAT - Anyone who doesn’t love this album is tone deaf and can’t see talent! Anyone who’s been a fan of Tori knows that whatever song Tori sings, she breathes a new life into the song. She has beautiful range, a soulful tone and sings from her heart. I love her version of Silent Night and her new songs, “th” and “Gift that keeps on giving”, which are great additions. I hope Tori releases another Christmas album in the future, because I can’t wait to hear other classics sung by her! If you love R&B and soul, as well as a soulful and pure voice, you’ll love this album!!!

3. Classic Tori - Why wasn’t this album marketed?!? She is SO underrated. It’s such a shame. Reminds me of JoJo’s situation. So incredibly talented but you never hear about her. I’ve always said you can tell a true singer when you hear them live and if you listen to Tori Kelly live, you will know why I say that. No auto tune, no backup singers...just her amazing voice. 5. HALLOWEEN IS CANCELLED - I started putting my Christmas tree up while listening...this truly made me forget Halloween is tomorrow. Tori puts an INSANE shout-her-down in church twist on these tracks & does NOT hold back. 1. Great new tracks - The new tracks are a nice addition. Christmas Lights and At Christmas are my favorites of the new ones. Surprisingly, Kylie's vocals sound richer and more powerful on traditional songs like Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas than it does on dance tracks. Based on her recent live performances online, her voice seems to be improving with age. Too bad the SAW remix of Everyday is Like Christmas isn't included. Some more SAW remixes would be fun!

2. You Don’t Have To Be A Fan - Cyndi Lauper produced the best Christmas album of the s, hands down -It belongs in the pantheon of all-time greats. With some of the less-frequented traditional songs and several new compositions she takes the listener through the gamut of emotions -joy, loneliness, anticipation, reverence, and just plain old love. I first heard this album playing in a music store back in the early s and had no idea who the singer was, but it caught my ear and I had to buy it on the spot. I had always considered Lauper a one-hit pop diva, but with this album she proved to have tremendous depth both as a singer and as a songwriter. Merry Christmas…Have a Nice Life is fun, emotionally satisfying, and just about the best Christmas gift you could give yourself or your friends. If you’re not sure about buying the whole album, start with December Child, In The Bleak Midwinter, and Christmas Conga to get the feel. You won’t be disappointed.

3. New music... sounding like classics - Cyndi pretty much can pull of any genre of music, and this album is no exception. Original compositions, save Silent Night (here in a tender and simple arrangement and best known when Pampers used it as its holiday commercial theme a few years back), add an intoxicating, yet somehow familiar, twist on Christmas tunes. This is an excetional Christmas album: fun, tender, joyous, romantic, silly...it's all here. Highly recommended.

4. Favorite holiday album - This album is one of my all-time favorite holiday collections. Lauper's original songs range from fun and witty ("Minnie and Santa" and "Christmas Conga," which dares you not to dance along) to reverent and emotional "New Year's Baby" and "December Child"). Her take on some Christmas classics are gems, too. It's the best version ever of "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" (sorry Brenda Lee!). Love it!

1. All the titles are wrong!! Itunes changed them - I have the complete Christmas album. I imported it onto my computer and then later made a playlist on my iPhone for this but all of the songs are mislabeled. They are correct on my computer, and play correctly, but when I play them on my phone they are all wrong. White Christmas plays Silent Night, Ill be home for Christmas plays Santa Claus Is Back In Town. WTH?

2. Elvis Rocks Christmas - One of the all-time great Christmas albums. The first half has Elvis rocking out to some classic Christmas tunes like only he can while the second half focuses on the more religious aspects of the holiday in a more reserved fashion. Everything on this album is fantastic. About the only thing that could make it better would be if Elvis' definitive version of Sliver Bells had been on the original album. If you like Christmas music, this is a MUST.

I have not been able to find that song, although now it's available but only in Swedish! I would buy the song in English if it were available.

1. Not Your Grandmother's Christmas Album - This is a terrific musical celebration of Christmas unlike any other album I own. The track selection is unique and refreshing which makes repeated listening a pleasure, though I'm forcing myself to stop listening until after Thanksgiving, so it stays fresh. It is a fun, energetic soundtrack perfect for any kind of Christmas party or holiday gathering. Marilyn's voice brings a class and sophistication to these songs and her all-star band keeps the musical excitement pumping from start to finish. 1. Wowzers - Just like his first Christmas album, Christmas From the Heart, I can tell that this album is from his heart. Every song is so joyful, perfect for the holiday season. It's really different from most commericial songs because it's more peaceful. This is music you'd listen to while cooking for a holiday gathering or during the holiday party. Super chill and beautiful. You can feel every emotion he is trying to express through every note. Love him.

2. THE soundtrack to your Christmas! - I don’t think David has ever sounded better, his range and control just blows me away and I totally believe every word he sings. Regarding the songs, the traditional hymns are incredible - David always finds a way to put his own mark on things so instead of each hymn feeling like a familiar rendition I felt like I was listening to some powerful, dramatic, huge music-scape or movie score (especially for O Come, O Come Emanuel) it's very emotional. Some Children See Him, He is Born and Winter in the Air are just heavenly; honestly He Is Born gives me a lump in my throat and fills me with love. I'm kind of a sensitive person but I defy anyone to listen to that song and not be moved. The 'lighter' songs, like the title track are bound to become Christmas classics also, I instantly loved them. They feel fresh but also made me nostalgic about all the things I personally love about Christmas. I know I'm going to be goofing off dancing around the house to White Christmas and Holly Jolly Christmas at some point over the festive season - so fun. And check out the way he moves around the notes! Our family have our little traditions and this year Winter in the Air will be our number go-to soundtrack. I promise you, this will leave you feeling so Christmassy; spiritual and peaceful - it’s just completely lovely! Thank you David, you couldn't have done anything more or differently - every song is perfect.

3. Leaves me in awe! - This is David’s best recording yet! The maturity and clarity in his voice leave me speechless and in awe. This album has a nice mix of very fun and catchy secular tunes, and it has some worship songs that will take your breath away and have you looking up toward heaven. The production and arrangements are incredible. His upcoming tour should be a sell out. Thank you David for sharing your spiritual love for Christ, and for making me feel this love also. I will listen to this album on days when I need a spiritual lift.

4. Excellent - A fantastic variety of songs with killer arrangements. Some have fun beats that make you smile, and others so beautiful your eyes close and head falls back. What a glorious voice! Listen with headphones to get the ultimate experience. His ep Navidad with the spanish versions of songs is also outstanding. This is one of my top all time favorite Christmas albums.

5. HO HO HO Truly Blown Away!!! - I am blown away by David Archuleta's new album!! "Winter In The Air" has all of the reverence and joyfulness of the Christmas holiday season wrapped up in David's silky sparkly voice & tied with a "Glorious" bow!! His new originals: "Christmas Every Day"- a happy holiday bop, "He Is Born"-my fave new Christmas worship song, and the title track "Winter In The Air"- elegant & romantic, will all soon be classics! Yes they're that good!! :) David's Winter In The Air cd is a perfect (and timeless) gift for yourself and others!
