1. They RUIN these songs - Sure, the cast has lots of talent, but read some of the critical reviews before buying this album. As a professional DJ for many years, I would never consider playing this music for a party... too many annoying and unnecessary distractions (added for what reason, I can't imagine). One minute and ten seconds into "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch", for example, they add a spoken word segment that really ruins an otherwise very good musical production with K.D. Lang ( I LOVE K.D. Lang ). I'm really disappointed in this album... with no disrespect to the Glee Cast, who I think are very good, someone needs to rein in the overproduction and added junk. What were they thinking ?

2. Great Holiday Album, at least check out if skeptical - I must agree with user Sp, this is a must holiday album of the holidays. They have a beautiful duet between Kirk and Blain of "Baby its Cold outside: that was absolutely amazing. When I heard I was shocked, I thought they may butcher it or ruin the song in some way but the whole album they paired the right vocals at the right time for each track and duet and they blended beautifully and belonged together and sounded right. There rendition of “The Most Wonderful Day of The Year”, it was well done and everyone was on the same page as far as music. This is by far one of my favorite songs of the album next to “Baby its Cold Outside”. I’m soundtrack buyer, but by far this has been there best album they have put out yet and the one of their best holiday albums by far. I myself even bought songs off it, do plan to go back later and but the rest, its rare to find a very good sound track especially a holiday one from a show. I do recommend at least a listen.

3. Wow, I am appalled. Glee is amazing. - I am appalled. People come on here to write a one star review, and the entire thing says "Glee suxx" and that's it. What on earth?! Has anyone taken the time to really see the talents of Darren Criss? Whoever called them "Cooperate Puppets" should look up Starkid. I am appalled.

4. Quinn's solo - I love Glee and loved this album except I really disliked how they took out Quinn's solos in The Most Wonderful Day of The Year :( I love her voice and was super psyched when I saw her sing the Christmas episode but when I listened to the song it wasn't her on the CD it was Kurt. Kurt is great but I like Dianna's voice much better and she never sings! This was a little disappointing

1. A perfect Christmas album! - This album is great. There’s a perfect combination of uptempo songs to get you in the Christmas spirit such as Underneath the Tree and Run Run Rudolph, and then there’s her take on classics like Blue Christmas and Silent Night. She has an amazing voice, perfect for Christmas. This album is always in my holiday rotation.

2. Wow just wow - This album is so amazing. It’s a Xmas album but honestly I could listen to these jams all year long. So good Kelly your just an amazing singer and you really know how to bring it. This is a today kind of Xmas album for sure. We all listen to the oldies and yes I have those too but this is just fun and new.

3. One of the best - This is my favorite album by Kelly. Her covers are unique, but don't lose the spirit of the original. And they are a mix of many genres, so it's not all one long run. The original tracks are all superb. The production is pretty good. It has some minor flaws(she's kinda loud on the duet), but the rest is so amazing. Definitely one of the best Christmas albums ever. It's my personal favorite.

4. Voice like a cup of cocoa - For those who are saying it's too modern or comparing to Mariah- you're on crack! So many Christmas albums out there, and this is at the top! Kelly's voice makes me feel like I'm sitting with a comfy blanket with a cup of cocoa in hand. Beautiful. Great songs. This is my first review. I felt compelled to review!

5. A new Christmas feeling everytime with this album - I was so proud of Kelly Clarkson. She did A-M-A-Z-I-N-G in this album! I was really delighted that she sang with children when performing her songs! Really love the feeling from this album. Wrapped In Red shall be on top every Christmas! My favorite song is obviously Underneath the Tree! Love the meaningful lyrics! Amazing album!

1. Amazing song! - Meme of the day: NO STOP EVERYTHING who are you. I’m you. No I’m me your you who are you? No my name is you. Oh that’s very confusing why are you in my room you. 2. This is so good - This makes me feel thinking about all getting for Christmas is you!!! You are beautiful. I hope you know that, if you don’t than I- . You’re beautiful. BABY ALL I WANT FIR CHRISTMAS US YOUUUUUUUUUU ( ok imma stop dis so cringe ) And also this song is so good please keep making more. It’s so good.

3. Unsure - Not unsure about the rating, but there are some mixed comments on this that I somewhat agree on. I’m not saying these songs are bad, they’re absolutely amazing, but it’s more of a “ooh look at my voice” than a “Christmas song album” oh well. It looks like I’ve gotten off track here. Aside from that, beautiful voice and would recommend. Listen to it every Christmas!

1. Chuck's Christmas Tree - I keep on resorting towards this album on cd (remember those?) as my first choice in traditional holiday presentations. Vince Guaraldi was a sensitve, soulful jazz pianist as was his cartoon counterparts. Skating and Linus Lucy are so ethereal. the vibe sends me into another atmosphere. A Charlie Brown Christmas remains an iconic, classic statement in how music should be recorded. Take that Auto Tune!!!

2. Absolutely Priceless for a Great Price!! - I’ve always loved watching this as a kid even as an old adult now me and my kids watch this. With soooo much going on in this world right now it’s always good to sit back and reminisce about what the True Meaning of Christmas is All about. Celebrating the Birth of our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST!! & to ALL

3. Fond Memories - Some of the fondest memories of my childhood was watching America’s favorite blockhead, Charlie Brown on tv. There was always something special about watching cartoons at night. I especially looked forward to watching this one year after year. This album is unforgettable, having all my favorite tunes from the show. Now when the holiday season rolls around, I have the pleasure of changing my ringtones to some of my favorite tunes from this album. Vince did a most excellent job, his performance is timeless.

1. By FAR One Of My Favorite Modern Album - It is hard to find a modern Christmas album that holds up to the classic traditions we hear every year. This however is the exception! I love this album so much! I have never heard of this band until this album, which turned me onto their other albums. Sadly, I would have skimmed over them since they are labeled Christian. Not that I do not love the guy upstairs, but at times these albums can be boring. Not this band! Wow!

2. Best album by far! - I love all of these songs! They are such good adaptions and amazing originals! I love this artist and bless them! The best Christmas album ever!! I smiled times when I heard the entire album for the first time! I went to their concert (in St. Augustine) a couple of weeks ago. They are so good and touch the heartstrings like no one else.

3. SO GOOD!!! - Absolutely amazing, as usual! The studio version of “Little Drummer Boy” strikes the perfect balance of their original version and a Christmas-like upgrade. “Heavenly Hosts” is a beautiful depiction of the night of Jesus’ birth. And the vocals on “O Come, O Come Emmanuel”... I’m speechless. Please give this album a listen. I can promise you won’t regret it.

1. Fantastic Album - By far this is one of my favorite Christmas albums. “The Days of Christmas” really shows off their amazing music ability with complicated rhythmic and stylistic changes throughout the song. “Thank You” is an incredibly sweet, originak Christmas song, and it’s a new direction for them with the piano and cello. Love it. It was weird at first to hear some songs not directly related to Christmas or Christ, but those songs do remind me of my childhood or touch on the theme of love—so I think these songs work. Finally, “Amazing Grace” is absolutely sublime. I will be listening to it long after Christmas and well into the New Year.

1. Destined to be a classic! - This album is destined to be a classic. Chris Young's voice will melt your socks off . His take on the traditional classics are ear candy and the two original songs will soon be included with your all time favorites for the holidays. The collaboration with Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley and Boyz II Men are sensational. I love this album and will be using it as Christmas presents for all my friends and family.

2. The wait is finally over...Christmas from Chris Young - The combination of the Christmas songs I love plus the smooth velvety tenor of Chris's voice is unbeatable!! The duets are very good, and I would love to see him do another with Alan Jackson some where on a future project. Even though I'm not a fan of hearing anything Christmas before Thanksgiving, I've played this CD almost every day.

3. Christmas just came early for me! - In the form of this album. No, but really. I have been waiting for some new Christmas music for a long time. No other artist will give you a sound like Chris Young. This album did not disappoint and it will continue to not disappoint for years to come. My weekend plans now include working, baking, hanging out with my hunting dog and listening to THIS ALBUM. Thank you Chris Young :)

4. Early present indeed! Love the album. - Chris Young's smooth and classic country voice shines bright on his first holiday album. His original, Under the Weather is so romantic; his duet with Brad Paisley on The First Nōel is so soft and pretty and Christmas (Baby please come home) is so much fun , it's hands down my favorite rendition.

5. MAGICAL! - Christmas is my least favorite time of year but this year I have something to get me through it! THIS ALBUM! Chris Young saved my life. Without him I wouldn't be here today. His music keeps me going every single day. I'm so excited about this album!! It's absolutely MAGICAL!! Congratulations on your incredible new album Chris!!

1. Keeping childhood Christmas memories alive with Ray Conniff - I am not a fan of most Christmas music because it has gotten so overdone and overplayed by mostly famous musicians who have ruined it and it has gotten very tiresome and more so since I have to hear it at work all day, but the Ray Conniff album is the best around and never seems to grow old. They have crafted a timeless piece that still sounds as fresh as it did more than years ago. It's the Abbey Road of XMAS records and in my mind it will never get old. I highly recommend this to all and those with children to pass on to a new generation to be part of your Christmas family tradition such as mine.

2. ONE OF THE TOP CHRISTMAS ALBUMS IN THE PAST YRS - I first purchased this album back in December in an Army px while stationed in Germany, fortunate enough to have the only stereo player on the our floor, my Army buddies would gather around the stereo and listen to it over and over again. Brings back countless memories every year, still great listening and sing -a- long music thru the years......I left the stereo and the album in Germany so that other Army buddies could enjoy it, I purchased another album at a garage sale (in excellent condition) and also have added it to my library.

3. I guess I'm showin my age.....?! - Ah yes, Christmas, 's, Altoona PA, huge snow storms, real tree, real Lionel w/all metal cars on a homemade platform, trying desperately to get into that room beside the coal room in the basement (that's where the mother load was stashed!), and music like this. Gotta love the medley's. And I really enjoyed reading the iTunes review, hehehe, a step or two above Lawerence Welk......and I'm buying it. Gotta go peruse the Alternative Music and balance this out a bit. Happy Holidays and beyond, get these songs, you'll never regret them...

4. We wish you a Merry Christmas - Conniff Singers - An absolute joy to listen to. Perfect for the Christmas holidays! Professional ro the hilt.......singers, back up musicians, leader of the group (Conniff, I presume). This album is a must no matter how "old" it is (). Fresh as the day it was produced. You want help with the Christmas Spirit? Go Conniff. You won't be disappointed with this album.

5. The Best Christmas sings! - I've heard many Christmas songs that we're nice but nothing compares to the beautiful music I hear in this album. I heard about this album because of my dad in the late s, early s in Chicago and listening to these songs while living here in Vegas brings back memories. A definite must have album! Nothing compares to this Wonderful music I hear for Christmas!!!!!

6. Great memories - I used to listen to this when it was on LP back home as a kid. We'd turn off all the lights in the living room, cozy up to the fireplace, turn on all the Christmas lights, and sit back as the record player played these awesome songs. I had forgotten about this record until today when I heard the Little Drummer Boy medley on the radio. Brought back a lot of sentimental memories of back home... fantastic album!!!

7. I can FEEL Christmas! - My parents had this album and I listened to it and Mitch Miller EVERY SINGLE CHRISTMAS as a child of the ''s. In the middle of summer I can listen to it now and think of those childhood Christmases as the greatest times of my life. The music puts us back to a slower, more peaceful time. They don't make albums that stay with you any more. I let my kids listen; hoping they will identify Christmas memories with these songs as well in the future.
2009-11-21
8. Memorable - This cd stays in the player throuhgout the entire Christmas season! I remember when my parents bought the LP at Burdines in downtown West Palm Beach in the 's. The medleys evoked such a Christmas "feeling" in our home, in spite of no snow! I could just imagine that it was degrees outside and that Santa would soon be on his way. The tenderly perfomed Christmas carols would and still do take me back years to the nativity of Jesus. This Ray Coniff offering is a classic and a must have Christmas "album."

9. The Christmas Spirit...Sung! - It's too much to describe in words. How the music fills the house up with peace and joy. I'm not from the s!!! I can't say, "I remember this from a long time ago..." BUT I can say that when I heard this music on the radio, I needed it in my Christmas music collection. All generations should enjoy this album with their families. Present and Future. You'll love it. Thank you Ray Conniff

10. One of the best Christmas albums ever! - I absolutely love this record. I've been listening to it every Christmas for as long as I can remember. My grandma, avid record collector, has this and we would put it on every Christmas morning. It sure does fill the home with holiday spirit. For as corny as it is, you can't help but love it!

11. Excellent traditional Xmas Songs - A lot of glowing reviews here, but the real value are the medleys, especially and and to a lesser extent, . Medley , O Holy Night, clocking in at over minutes may be the single best Christmas tune (IMHO) ever recorded. Sung with an appropriate reverence and finishing off with a rousing Deck the Halls. Medley is just as good. Too many modern singers try to put their spin on these classics, and you simply can't improve on these versions. These are regal songs meant to be sung by a choir. When Adeste Fidelis transforms into O Come all Ye Faithful to finish the experience, you'll know what I mean.
2008-12-14
12. Brings Back Memories - I used to listen to this record (yes, an old LP) as a child every night before going to bed during the Christmas season . When my dad sold his record collection about years ago I lost this album and several others. I had forgotten about it until I heard some songs from it on XM radio. Thanks to iTunes I now have the music again, but I sorta do miss the old LP scratches!! Merry Christmas!

13. Oh Dear - This is the best gift I could have ever reiceved. I love Ray Conniff and his singers. They bring me back to my childhood and Christmas with my family and my mom baking and cooking. So sweet. I have purchsed other Ray Conniff albums that I can find in a second hand store but wish they'd remaster and re-release them all. For those of you know the play and movie "A Chorus Line" The song smoke gets in your eyes the orchestration I should say seems like Mr. Hamlish "borrowed" Mr. Conniffs riffs. Back me up on this one....One singular sensation sounds just like the riff in Smoke gets in your eyes. LOVE THIS! TIM

14. The Best Christmas Album EVER!!!!! - This is the best Christmas album ever. Once you start listening you'll be hooked... I can remmeber this in the 's when I was just a little kid. It always brings back fond memories and will never get old. Christmas is not Christmas without this album!!! Enjoy it and best wishes!

15. Let It Snow/Count Your Blessings - For the past few years in December, I continued to hear the Let It Snow/Count Your Blessings Medley on our local radio station. However, they would never share the name of the group singing. Everytime I heard the song, I promised myself I would one day find that CD. With help from iTunes, I am back in the early ''s with Ray Conniff and his singers. Talk about good memories! I can picture our Christmas tree, lots of presents, and my family...some who are no longer living. Thanks for the great sounds...Ray Conniff and the singers will now be a part of my family's Christmas for many years to come!

16. We Wish you a Merry Christmas by Ray Conniff - I have been listening to this album since I was a little girl. It was my dad's favorite. We'd put on Ray Conniff and start baking. What a wonderful time! My dad is gone now but I still have this music to get me in the spirit. And now my two boys and I put this CD on and start decorating and baking. I know that when they are grown and have families, this music will remind them of good times and great smells coming from the kitchen! It is a Christmas MUST!!!

17. I FINALLY FOUND THIS RECORDING! - I grew up listening to this every Christmas and now in college I couldn't remember the recording name. Then I just happened to be doing some searching and discovered this. First off, the price is great. Secondly, the songs are amazing. The production is great, performances are stellar and the arrangements are energetic. MUST DOWNLOAD!

18. Holiday classic - This album is a Xmas classic. I can remember listening to it every year we would put up decorations and on Christmas morning opening presents. I highly recommend it to anyone. I think it is cheaper now that when we bought the original vinyl. The only thing that threw me off was the different cover art. The original album has a group of men and one woman all dressed in Santa outfits. Sure enough it was the same.
2007-12-28
19. Great music...but where is the album cover? - This album, and Sing Along With Mitch, were a vital part of my Christmas experience growing up in Cleveland in the early 's. I downloaded this without hesitation once I heard "Count Our Blessings." I honestly do not remember this album being so many medleys, but I think that is the charm of it. I can vividly remember listening to this while watching the color wheel illuminate our silver Christmas tree. Yes, we really had those back then! I am only sorry they do not have the original album cover with the Conniff singers in their Christmas outfits. In fact, the album cover on this website doesn't even say Ray Conniff Singers, so wassup with that?
2007-12-12
20. Brings back memories - Definitely s! Classic music that will stand the test of time. I will be playing this every Christmas season and hope to give the kids the same joy it gave me when I was growing up. Nothing beats the nostalgia one feels when the harmony of voices streams from these singers. Awesome!!

21. Close your eyes and smell the Christmas cookies baking - Back when ARCO service stations were Atlantic on the east coast and Richfield in the west, my father bought a Goodyear Christmas album every year, featuring recordings by Columbia Records' brightest lights. He'd stack six of them on the pull-out BSR record changer in our Curtis Mathes hi-fi stereo home entertainment center (with its -inch black and white TV) and we'd enjoy non-stop Christmas tunes until the last gift was opened. The Goodyear album that stuck in my memory the longest is the one featuring snippets from the final medley in this album. From the first time I heard it, I was enthralled by Ray Conniff's arrangement of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." How often do you get to hear Mendelssohn with a Calypso beat and the spine-tingling harmonies of the Ray Conniff Singers? In the middle of summer, I'd sneak the album out of the record rack and play it on the Heathkit stereo I had built. I just couldn't wait until Christmas to hear it. A few years ago, I managed to download the track from the early days of that N word, and was even more delighted to find the complete album on iTunes. Sony Music deserves a standing ovation for lavishing a lot of love onto its transfer to digital. The sound is even more lush than I remember. The only thing missing are the pops, clicks and snaps from that long-lost LP. What can you say about Christmas music performed by the Ray Conniff Singers? Probably the best comparison is one's first taste of real butter and maple syrup on a stack of pancakes or real whipped cream on a strawberry-smothered Belgian waffle. It's something new and at the same time, something so right that it's GOT to be the real thing. There's none of the hard-edged male chorus and rigid phrasing and those gawd-awful accordions of Mitch Miller nor the syrupy sweetness that all too easily oozes from most of the Sixties' harmony ensembles. Too good to be elevator music but not quite high art, Ray Conniff's music enfolds the ear like a familiar sweater caresses one's shoulders. It brings back memories of Christmases past as easily as it creates new memories in each generation hearing it for the first time.

22. Best Traditional Album Ever - This album is one of the best of the super traditional albums. It reminds me so strongly of Christmastime while growing up in the s, my parents played this every year. It holds up well over time, and makes a nice balance to the new crop of Christmas pop songs. The chorale style singing and arrangments are fun and uplifiting and very pleasant to listen to and beg to be part of your yearly traditions. By the way the blue artwork above is wrong, but the music download is correct.

23. Buy this album!!! - This is the most cheerful, musical, and downright fun Christmas album around. Perfect for background music at Christmas parties as well as driving through holiday weather. I've waited years since getting rid of my record player to get it back. I've listened to other x-mas albums over the years and this by far has the best arrangement of songs and instruments.

1. way to be progressive! - so proud of Jimmy for inverting gender roles in his rendition of Baby Its Cold Outside! it's so natural, I didn't even notice for a whole minute! truly the king of progressive pop culture! although, winter wonderland seems a little problematic with the use of the Jamaican stereotype "mahhhn" instead of "maaahn" oh well

2. What happened to Originality? - Ok, I am a Buffet fan. I think he is very talented, creative and has an excellent band. But I question why he put out this album. Every song (except one) is a Christmas song we have heard a thousand times. Whte Christmas, Rudolph the red nose reindeer, days of christmas, etc. Really? Even "Buffetized" they are the same OLD songs. He even put a song from his first christmas album on here. His first album had songs we did not hear before. Classics like Ho Ho Ho and a bottle of rum. Merry Christmas Alabama, etc. Dont waste your time with this album. First time in years I can say i am disappointed with one of his albums. What the hell was he thinking?

3. a bit sickening - I love Jimmy Buffett for what he’s done with his life. A guy that’s followed his passions, lived life on his own terms, flying his own sea plane, surfing, sailing, singing, beaching out. We should all follow his example to live our own lives as truly as he does. This album however, seems to be more of an idea from some money grubbing exec’s boardroom, not the fun loving adventurer we all wish we could be. As if we need more commercialism about Xmas, if I hear another version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, I’ll have to gouge my eyes out with a dull knife. Jimmy - I’m disappointed, to say this trash is a sell out would be generous. I only give it stars because I respect you so...

1. Love it!! - I love that they did collab with Lindsey Stirling and Alessia Cara on this album. It's so updated. Not the tired old Christmas songs that have been done again and again. Will always love their sound but I love how they blended so well together on this album--Much more than their usual sound which is recorded separately. I can hear the end result of their mutual input here. (Go watch the YouTube video). To record together is really the most fun part of A'capella. It sounds more mellow, but matured and evolved. My only complaint is the first track was only a minute; it's my absolute favorite oldies song that I never realized could be played as a holiday song, and I wish they had embellished more than a few bars of the Harry James/Kitty Kallen classic.

2. Eh, it’s ok. - I love PTX, but their last couple of Christmas albums (this one included) haven’t been my favorites. This album in particular feels like it’s missing the same flair and excitement as past ones. The arrangements are missing the classic PTX spin on them or the spins are odd. (Over the River comes to mind for sure.) Sorry guys, but this ain’t it for me. Also, why is “all I want for Christmas” an exclusive track on a physical album? Who has a CD player anymore?

3. I usually love PTX…but - I love PTX, seen them in concert a dozen times, have all their albums. This one is a dud. They sound forced, bored and emotionless. It’s really disappointing. Mitch just looks so unhappy to be part of the group. I Just Called to Say I Love You is the worst. Sorry guys.. it’s just a dud

1. Christmas With Conniff - Christmas just wouldn't be the same without Ray Conniff and the Ray Conniff singers! These are great songs to really get a person in the Holiday Spirit! I have such fond memories of my childhood (early 's) listening to these songs, and now my two young sons sing along as well. My year old sounds like Elmer Fudd on Winter Wonderland "as we dweam, by the fywere...." and it's great! One of the best and a classic to be enjoyed along with the other timeless ones.....

2. For going on years... - ... this album (now CD) has meant "It's Christmastime!". My aunts and uncles played it to usher in Christmas, when it was released in Nov of ' (my st grade year), and every year thereafter. Almost all of my family is gone, now, but when I hear this wonderful CD, we're together again for a little while. When a record can bring back sweet memories and still sound fresh and joyous, it's a wonderful thing. The Ray Conniff Singers are old friends whose arrival is most welcome. For secular Christmas sounds, you won't find a better collection anywhere.

3. Christmas is.... Christmas with Conniff! - This cd personifies Christmas to me! I remember my Dad playing the album when I was a kid in the early 's - it got pretty worn out over the years, so we were THRILLED to find the cd version! These songs bring back so many wonderful memories - I know every do-wah by heart! ALL the songs are wonderful, but some of my favorites are "Christmas Bride," "Here Comes Santa Claus," and "White Christmas." Buy this cd - you won't be disappointed!

4. One of the Very Best Christmas Records of all time!! - This record brings back memories of everything that is great about the beautiful Christmas Season, love and warmth! I remember my mother had this record back when I was a baby in the 's and literally wore it out from playing it so much!! Naturally she was so delighted when it came out on cd in the late 's. My mom has since passed and I had trouble listening to this record since but last year I put in on and as the many tears flowed, the beautiful memories came flowing back listening to these great Conniff Singers with Ray's brilliant arrangements. These songs are all great with not one clinker that is bound to happen on a Christmas album.....just give a listen to "Christmas Bride" a wonderful tune..the only unfortunate thing here is that the Itunes disc does not include the amazing version of "Greensleeves (What Child is This?) that the cd has! This disc along with Sinatra's, Nat King Cole's, Dean Martin's and Perry Como's belong in everybodys Christmas disc collection!

1. Classic Christmas Album - This is the Christmas album I grew up listening to — it’s the perfect blend of upbeat s carols and classical pieces. You have “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” a moving rendition of “Silent Night” by Julie Andrews, and then a booming choral arrangement of “Joy to the World.” If you’re going to have one general Christmas album, let this be it.

1. For Christmas, Ray Conniff Rocks - In my experience I found few albums or music to have such universal appeal as Ray Conniff at Christmastime. No matter where I was or who I was visiting, this music would pour through the house and warm your soul. Another reviewer said it has a special feel. I agree; it is also timeless, one of the most enduring albums and sounds I can think of over my past years. Lively and fun to listen to. A modern classic.

2. Simply the best Christmas album - Listening to this album reminds of being a year old kid sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the fire sparkle off of the ornaments. Hearing these voices give me the feeling of being back in my living room in and wanting Santa Claus to come and drop off my presents. I let my boys listen to this and they started dancing in the living room (in August) and asking "when is Santa coming". It just gives off that special feeling that Christmas is year round when you have Ray Conniff and his fabulous singers to listen to. Highly recommended.

3. Wonderful Musical Christmas Memories with Coniff! - Anyone years old will fondly remember hearing a Ray Coniff choir singing Christmas songs sometime growing up. I go into a Walgreen's or True Value Hardware during December and "boom!"...there's Ray's music playing in the background and I can't help but smile, sing along to myself and genuinely feel festive for the holiday! This CD is a must-have just to have playing in a rotation CD player for background music during this special time of year!

4. Finally found it! - I remember as a kid my old man would turn the record player on and these guys and gals would come on. For some reason they seemed to stick in my mind but I could never find the record. I searched for years to find the LP but only now have I found them. Very thrilled to relive some of my childhood. What a great group of singers!

1. Uninspired - Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Amy Grant's music; I have since "My Father's Eyes" brought her to popularity. Her project "Home For Christmas" is the absolute best Christmas album. When this album was released, I was so excited. Then, u-hum......it sounds like a low budget production. Her vocals are so uninspired. It's as if they were in the studio and they said, "Amy, just start singing some Christmas carols and we'll put music to it......but don't worry about putting any feeling into it". It is so plain and......just not good.

This music is a conversation starter without being too overbearing. Add some fresh sophistication and fun to your party this year. I dare your guests not to dance like nobody’s watching. So, great! 1. Better than pop - I LOVE this album! Normally I don’t like contemporary pop Christmas albums, but Gwen’s productions with horns, real drums, doo wop sort of background singers, plus her whole quirky-Gwen vibe give the whole thing a nostalgic, timeless feel that is so much more festive to me than other modern holiday albums that feel like quick cash grabs. I really believe Gwen is into the season on this album. Even some of her original songs (Christmas Eve, Cheers for the Elves, My Gift is You) seem like classics that we’ve been hearing forever.

2. Gwen!!!!!!! - Gwen Stefani is my favorite, I’m glad she made Christmas songs and new ones, I listen to them during the summer their so good! Also since the vinyl record came out, I bought myself a turn table and added Tragic Kingdom to the mix so I have those two so far, sounds good!! I know this is irrelevant but her best song ever is “Cool”. On repeat always! I wish I could go to her Las Vegas show! I wonder if Gwen will read any of our reviews? Or at least mine :) Merry Christmas
2018-12-08
3. Outstanding! - I love this album. The s vibe is amazing and Gwen is perfect on it. My favorites are Christmas Eve, Last Christmas, Secret Santa and Feliz Navidad. Classic album. Oh and I noticed the negative reviews are from a certain exs fanbase. Enough. Go Away. You can tell who they are because they spew hatred and haven’t listened to the songs at all.
2018-12-01
4. Her songwriting and vocals are amazing! - I love how happy she is now and it totally shows in her music. Her songwriting is just so good and she’s always had some of the best and most memorable vocals around. This deluxe version is a play through album. Every song is great. No skips. I didn’t think last year’s release could get better but Gwen pulled it off! Favorite Xmas album. Up there with Johnny Mathis.
2018-11-04
5. Absolutely Amazing - “Secret Santa” is one of the sweetest Christmas tunes to emerge in years and is a great addition to the record. Gwen’s motive for recording a Christmas album was, that many years from now, her children could still enjoy the holiday season, even when she is “up in heaven”. This album comes to life after a listen and is worth a purchase. A gem for the holidays.

6. SIS DONE DID IT AGAIN! - Yessssssssss!!!!! Queen of Christmas done did it AGAIN!!!! I mean my queen is so classy and elegant and such a TALENTED WOMAN! it takes a lot to write music so the fact that she’s also able to write Christmas music as well is just beyond talented to me!!! This is music that’s gonna stay forever and be revisited every single year, that is so amazing!!!! / recommend to buy this album!!! EXCELLENT! Gwen Stefani thank you for making Christmas extra special

7. Gwen Makes It Feel Like Christmas Again! - Gwen truly makes it feel like Christmas all over again with this marvelous deluxe edition boasting five new tracks!! The two original songs penned by Gwen are fantastic: ''Secret Santa'' is a lovely, soothing invitation to celebrate the season with that special someone, while ''Cheer For The Elves'' is a fun celebration of Santa's helpers. The three covers of Christmas classics are bursting with holiday spirit: ''Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'' and ''Winter Wonderland'' are horn-infused delights, while the duet with Mon Laferte on ''Feliz Navidad'' is wonderfully festive. The new tracks are splendid additions to an already masterful holiday album that perfectly blends modern and traditional Christmas music.

8. New Queen of Christmas - Love this - best rendition of Last Christmas since George Michael; Santa Baby innocent & sultry all at once. The original songs are amazing - You Make It Feel Like Christmas Christmas Eve, Under the Christmas Lights, Secret Santa - are all classics for all time! This one’s a keeper for sure.

1. Mannheim Steamroller: From the Top to the Bottom - This is, perhaps, the most comprehensive collection of Mannheim Steamroller music out there. That is both good and bad. Because it encompasses all of the periods of Chip Davis' recording career, if one resequences the songs in chronological order, it is easy to see the artistic decline. It is no surprise that the vast majority of the music is from the first three Fresh Aire albums, which are the best of his recordings. While it is true that his first three Christmas albums are quite good, and he began to right the ship with his orchestral Christmas albums, only the good pieces from Fresh Aire are included and the inclusions from Fresh Aire are completely forgettable. If this is one's first exposure to this music, it is certainly a well-rounded collection. Unfortunately, the later material is not on par with the earlier music.

1. LeAnn's Voice is PERFECT! - I still and always will love her voice when it comes to Christmas songs classics and new! Her cover of Blue Christmas is what sold me on this EP its raw and not too much, classic and pure beautiful voice! Whoever said her career is over and her bad behavior is overshadowing everything needs to shut it! Just enjoy great music!

2. She's doing much - I really love Christmas music, so much. I listened to this on Spotify before I decided if I would buy it. Thank goodness. The Hippopotamus song is a classic fave of mine and it sounded terrible. The song only works because of the cute voice and simple music. She made it too much. I also didn't care for Carol of the Bells or Silent Night. I mean, w/her voice, she could have killed that, but instead it seemed "off" to me and not beautiful like I expected. I typically think the only thing she does well is sing covers and other people's stuff, so this should have been a home run, but instead she got in there and put her "mark" on it, and turned it all into yuck. I am very glad I didn't spend my money on this.

3. Rimes Does it again! - Everytime LeAnn belts anything out, it's sure to be her best. She delivers nothing but the best. This Christmas album is LeAnn's second Christmas album and an awesome collection of hits. From Silent Night, to Carol of the Bells, and on to a re-make of Dolly Parton's Hard Candy Christmas, LeAnn once again has given us music to our ears.

1. One of the greatest holiday album EVER - This has a lot of things for holiday factors and it's made of rock taste music at all. Sometimes, we don't like typical season songs which are very similar each other. But Train's Christmas In Tahoe is very special to hear. It's like a studio album but definitely festive and cheer. This is a really great work by this band and second to none.
2017-12-01
2. Great and new songs - The final tracks are diferent from the previous release of this album, so it is great to get more songs from that Christmas recording session. Love the vibe and song selections here. This embodies the best of Train, unlike the most recent studio album of vapid pop tunes that are cringe worthy.

1. Amazing! - Don’t believe what the two negative reviewers had to say. Obviously they listen to the most upbeat Christmas spirited music in the world!!!! Congratulations to both of you! Norah’s tremendous talent is backed by Leon Michels, Dave Guy, Brian Blade, Nick Movshon, and Tony Scherr, who are some of the best musicians in music today. Breathing new life into Christmas classics as well as penning a few new ones of her own makes this album % worth checking out.

2. Xmas Norah Style - In true Norah Jones form, she takes the iconic and classic songs and puts her own bluegrass, sultry, jazzy sound- that belongs to Norah Jones alone- to them. With her raspy voice, and unique instrumental interpretations and creative renditions, this album is a nice change of pace from the same-ol’ same-ol’ Christmas music.

3. A warm inviting album for the season - This is a very enjoyable record with Christmas standards, classic favorites and songs that reflect on what it’s like to share Christmas with just one other person. Not to mention the loneliness that can come with the season. Covering everything from Alvin and the Chipmunks to ‘Christmas Time Is Here’ from a Charlie Brown Christmas. This is a warm inviting album that can be listened to again and again.

1. never got track ; the one track I did want; good songs though - I wanted to download track Joy to the World but could not just buy that track; so upon buying entire album track DID NOT download in it's entirety.
I contacted apple support, and they have not provided info on how to correct since I have PAID but not received download of full track .
So middling review is for lack of download even though I paid and contacted customer service to no avail.
Good songs just would appreciate getting what was owed; I could have bought anything else as just one song successfully OR somewhere else.
-Cheers

2. Christmas Music isn't boring anymore! - This is a must-have album for guitar lovers everywhere! There's something for everyone...from playful romps like Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Rudolph" and Joe Perry's "Blue Christmas" to new takes on old favorits like Jeff Beck's "Amazing Grace" and Alex Lifeson's "Little Drummer Boy". Favorite tracks are Eric Johnson's "First Nowell" and Steve Vai's "Christmas Time Is Here" (from the Peanuts special)...if you can listen to either track without getting a little misty-eyed, check your pulse.

3. My Favorite Christmas Album - I wait almost all year to crank this album out and jam with it! Thank Steve Vai for this concept, or else we'd all be doomed to Contemporary Christmas Music featured on pop radio - oh, the humanity! Also, the artist descriptions are all listed "Various Artists". I'd like to help those wondering, "Who is this?" (In playing order) ) Kenny Wayne Shepherd ) Eric Johnson ) Jeff Beck ) The Brian Setzer Orchestra ) Joe Satriani ) Steve Morse ) Steve "The Founder" Vai ) Joe Perry ) Alex Lifeson ) Richie Sambora ) Tomoyashu Hotei

4. Proof that holiday music can be cool - Doesn't matter what your taste in music is. Classic carols given the rock star treatment. While staying true to the original these performances put a special spin on songs you thought you know. Particular standouts are Drummer Boy by Rush's Alex Lifeson & Jeff Beck's Amazing Grace.
2008-11-25
5. Worth Every Minute - If you love rock namely guitar players this one is for you. It shows a whole other side of your axe weilding guitar heros. My favorite tunes are Joe Satriani doing Silent Night which starts out pretty traditional and then about a minute and half in turns into a wicked jam. Steve Vai doing Christmas Time is Here, awesome! Sounds like the way Vince Guarldi would have done it if he played a stratocaster. Joe Perry on Blue Christmas, it has a real Elvis feel to it. Alex Lifeson on Little Drummer Boy, has a great Johnny Cash vibe. Kenny Wayne Shepherd on Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is classic KWS. You won't go wrong with this collection. Enjoy

1. Rudolf? Really? - This is the time to honor our Savior! Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’ birth. Why is Rudolf on this album? Santa just takes away from Jesus at Christmas. I’d never expect this from a Christian artist. We should be celebrating Jesus and reminding people he is the only reason we celebrate Christmas.

2. Refreshing - The world is in chaos with sickness, animosity, worry, and fear, and along comes this album singing refreshing songs of hope, redemption, sleigh rides, and happy times. This is EXACTLY what we need right now! Even if real life can’t mirror the happy feels in this album, we can still close our eyes and “go there” while we listen to these songs. I just love this, and even the album cover is so cheerful and cute. Thanks Francesca, you’re a ray of light during this dark year! I’ll be listening to this album on repeat repeat repeat repeat

1. Messages of love for - A cappella at its finest. Home Free is known for their incredible harmonies and creative arrangements. A great mix of familiar tunes and originals. The title track, Warmest Winter, by their high tenor, Austin Brown, stirs fond memories of Christmas with family. What We Need is Love, by their bass, Tim Foust, offers a message about how we should treat those around us. Snow Globe, also by Tim Foust, is another favorite. Will be listening to this one on repeat during the holiday season!

2. Lots of great songs..but... - They have several songs featuring other people on this album, some featured artist blends great with Home Free’s sound. When they use groups like striking matches they loose what make them unique and the group we came to love..they sound like any other generic group, instead of something special! Lots of new really good songs, but personally would like them to keep what made Home Free, Home Free!

1. such ravage (Christmas edition) - Its been a while since I've told the stories of how air supply turned my life inside out. This holiday season I've gotten hornier than a reindeers antlers listening to this album. Right before opening presents I listened to air supply and ever since I've had a big bulge below my waist. I made it snow so hard in my bathroom last night. I had to go to my doctor times in the past day to get this erect penis checked out. You could say it's been a WHITE Christmas. All I want for Christmas is for Rex to blow me so hard I get written up on Santas list for sexy nudes.

2. The Best Christmas Album Ever!!!!! - This is by far the my favorite and in my opinion, the best Christmas album EVER!!!!! Russell sings "White Christmas" even better than Bing Crosby. The arrangement of "The First Noel" is absolutely beautiful, and the mchoir adds a nice touch. Perfect for Russell's voice. "S;leigh Ride is just palin cute, and so is "Winter Wonderland" The kids sound cute on that, too. The original songs, "The Eyes Of A Child" and "Love Is All"re my two favorites on the album. I think the arrangements of "The Little Drummer Boy", "Slient Night" and "O Come All Ye Faithful" are beautiful, too. "The Christmas Song" puts me in a sentimentally festive mood. This is a MUST for every Air Supply fan's Christmas collection.

3. I Like Most of It. - I've had this CD since when it came out. Most of it is awesome. I love their versions of White Christmas, The Christmas Song, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland and the original songs Love Is All and The Eyes of A Child. Not much on Little Drummer Boy, Silent Night and O Come All Ye Faithful though. There are much better versions. Still the ones I mentioned are worth the CD. Their version of Sleigh Ride is my all time favorite I think.

4. Awesome Christmas album!! - I've been looking for this for years. Lost the cassette from a move. Christmas always felt more meaningful and powerful listening to this album. The album itself has songs on it you won't find anywhere else that are incredibly powerful such as "Eyes of a Child" and "Love is All" And of course christmas classics. This is a hard to find album. iTunes did a huge service putting this out for those that appreciate awesome Christmas Music by good and classic groups. A must buy!!

5. One of the BEST holiday albums of all time - An exceptional holiday album from this great pop duo. Both Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell are in fine voice. The traditional holiday classics chosen for this album are done with flair and style and sound fresh and vibrant. But the real gems are the two new songs, The Eyes of a Child and Love is All, both of which rank among Air Supply's best all time recordings.
2007-11-28
6. Fun! - Air Supply took a break after releasing this album, Russell Hitchcock would release a solo album and score a minor hit with his cover of "What Becomes Of The Broken-Hearted." Usually the last lp before a split is sad or dark, but this lp is so joyful it must have been a feeling of relief that a hiatus is coming. Recorded at the end of the 's and being an Air Supply album, keyboards and synths are traded for traditional arrangements with full orchestra. The production for this album was so large it had to be recorded at A&M studios. The song choice and arrangements are traditional and the lp features two originals, "The Eyes of A Child," which was culled as a single and a minor hit, and "Love Is All." Both originals were recorded and arranged in typical Air Supply fashion dripping with strings. All the cuts are studio, why "White Christmas" is indicated as "live" is beyond me, unless iTunes is trying to indicate that the song was recorded "live" in the studio, meaning the vocals and strings were recorded at the same time, which is true. Air Supply rarely did covers and hearing Russell Hitchcock work his tenor around holiday standards may feel a bit ackward at first and the two originals provide "relief" from a straight-forward Christmas album but after a few listens this lp is old fashioned, well produced, and timeless.

1. Well done album, but... - I was really disappointed in this album. Well done with wonderful singing & musicians but it’s a mostly a collection of the same old Christmas songs that we’ve heard over & over every Christmas. I love to sing the old songs but do we need another recording with not a note unchanged or no new twist to make it refreshing once again. The only new songs were Almost There & Peace which were very nice. But then we have The Darkest Midnight where Bono talks through the whole thing.

1. It's A Repackage - This cd is Vanessa Williams' second Christmas release originally titled "Silver And Gold" and is a completer set for the first cd; the cover art is the only thing different. A terrific cd when first released, my personal favorite is track , that shouldn't be overlooked. If a little Vanessa goes a long way, then buy track by track, it's a dollar well spent. The production, mastering, and Vanessa's emotional delivery and even her cover of the Carpenters "Merry Christmas Darling" makes a little of this or the whole damn thing worth having.

2. Traditionally Classic - Vanessa Williams is undeniably a very talented woman. After the success of her first christmas album, I bought the second one in full faith that I was going to hear christmas music at its best. I have not been disappointed. From the wintery jazzy feel of "Winter Weather" to the classic celtic take on "Silent Night", this album embodies the true spirit of the holiday season.

1. Puts a smile on my face! - This is such a good album! I love having a variety of Christmas songs to listen to, obviously, throughout the holidays, but also throughout the year whenever I need a pick me up. This will definitely be an album that I can listen to whenever I feel the need for some good spirit! Thanks Jane and all your friends for putting this together!

2. Finally, A New Upbeat Christmas Album!!! - This is perhaps the best new Christmas album I've heard in twenty years! Thank you Jayne Lynch for this new Christmas treat. Let’s face it. Every singer good and bad puts out a holiday album. But the problem is that most of them are filled with self indulgent ballads to show off vocal tricks and not much else. This new up beat album is chalked full of Classic Christmas Favorites with wonderful new swinging arrangements. There are also new Christmas songs that are so refreshing and fun. Although the down right hilarious "Sentimental Christmas" may not be suitable for kids. I am going to buy this for my friends and family. Buy it for yourself. It is perfect for a party, driving, baking cookies, wrapping presents…or anything else, except sleep. This is an album I could listen to everyday of the holiday season! I Love It!

2. Tops in Salsa, period! Their best X-Mas songs!!! - What more can be said about this band. They have more Christmas hits in their catalog than most bands have songs in their catalogs. It is great to see a compilation like this. The popularity of this group is unparalleled worldwide. Fans should take a moment to really see how much music this band has. Their best material was recorded years ago on the Combo and Viva Combo labels. Unfortunately, the band today cannot capture their signature sound of yesterday in the studio or live. Never-the-less , Congratulations EL GRAN COMBO, there will never be another band like yours!

1. Great stuff, terrible price - I listened to this very album growing up. I've tried getting the entire album but cannot seem to find it. I love the fact that iTunes has it at least partially available but hate that I had to pay for each song individually instead of at least purchasing what is available as an album. It's kind of a rip off, but the music itself has sentimental value so I paid the price anyway. Just not a good way to sell a product, Apple.. Disappointed.

2. So funny - My parent's own of these CDs and every Christmas we listen to them. They're so funny and always make me smile, if not laugh.
My favorites:
The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen
The Pains of Christmas
The Chimney Song
I'm Dressing Up Like Santa Claus (When I Get Out On Parole)
There's Another Santa Claus
And The Kids is kinda cute.
