1. Lauren is Lauren and No One Else - I 'stumbled' upon a radio station that played this song while I was driving home from another horrible day of work. The music, the words and her voice - before I knew it I was in tears. I never thought about Lauren 'sounding' like 'anyone else.' I heard a beautiful song, sung by a person who sounded as if they had been through something I was going through, and it was enough for me.' Honestly, does any of us WANT to compared to anyone else? I don't so. Just love the music.

4. Beautiful message! - I was led to the song Rescue by my niece. My year old grandson who was the funny, big smiling all the time, loved his brothers immensely, big hearted kid was killed in a car wreck. My grandson had an addiction that he couldn’t shake. He tried, he really did. He told friends he didn’t feel like the old Jacob because of it. This song speaks about God hearing his SOS and sending down his army for him! Whether you know Jesus or not it is powerful! Thank you Lauren Daigle for this beautiful song!

She suffered a traumatic loss when she was and she was called from God during that hard time to worship Him and that this would be what she would do. Anne is a great singer but even more importantly the lyrics have much deep personal meaning to Anne that the typical Christian songs don’t cover. Scatter: This one is about how our praise is gonna shake down the walls of Jericho. It will cause our enemies to scatter. The word of God is powerful and is our shield. . My Jesus: is a personal story about the death of her beloved brother. He was killed in a car accident in . The lyrics of this song is beautiful and you can see why it’s such a hot song on the charts for over a year now. It discussed how many of us may be weary and carrying too much. She explained to listeners about how she is going to tell us about her Jesus. It talked about how Jesus makes a way and how He rose from the grave. It described Jesus and His love for us. . Devil: This one discussed how the devil was celebrating and thought he won the fight. He was in for a surprise when Jesus rose from the grave and our sin went running away. The song turns around and explained how the devil got scared and death is coming to the devil. . Sunday Sermons: This one talks about her salvation and how those Sunday sermons changed her. She could hear Jesus telling her how much He loves her. It makes a powerful statement about how the devil is going to try to take us out of church but you can’t take the church out of me. I personally liked this one the most of the album. I enjoyed the meaning behind the song and how the devil can try and take us out of the church but even if we don’t have the church the message of Jesus is still going to stay alive. I also liked how at the bridge, she sung a little of Jesus loves me and I thought this added me more to our church upbringing. . Hey Girl: This song is a wonderful song to women about how they are listening to others about their worth when they need to be listening to God. She stated how you need to repeat after her the chorus and declare it. She is blood bought and all of our shame is gone. This song is a great reminder of how much God loves us and where to find our true worth. On this track, her voice reminded me of Maren Morris and she seems to have the same tone like she does. . This House: is a song about our house and how it needs to be centered on God’s word. If you lay our trust in anything else then our house will fall. I liked how this one explained how we can put up crosses and stain glass but if it isn’t built on the word of God it will fall. . Mansions: This one is probably my second top favorite on the album. This one discussed how we have a mansion waiting for us in Heaven. This one is a celebration of the life to come after we die if we believe and received Jesus into our lives. It also talks about how we will get to have a reunion with our loved ones. . Mamas (with Hillary Scott): This is a song about Mamas and how important they are. The lyrics describe our connection to our mothers or a motherly figure. They are there for our scraped-up knees, wiping our tears, remembering that they are always there for us, and reminding us to never giving up on our dreams. . No Place Like Home: is another song about remembering there is no place like home. It describes her and her brother hanging out and playing together. It explained how she misses him and how she wishes time will just slow down. . God Thing: Another favorite would be this one. This song included ways that God shows up in our lives. This could be someone changing their ways, getting healing, and finding money in our wallet. We can learn to see it as a God thing. . That’s What We Need: This one explained how we need to be the hands and feet of Jesus and have the faith to move mountains. It’s about loving others and how the world needs us to be like Jesus. . Something About That Name: This one described the name of Jesus and how we pray it over our families, speak it out, sing it out loud, and how it changes us. There is incredible power and how it sounds like amazing grace. . Closer To God: This song is about feeling lost and been brokenhearted. This brings us closer to God. When we have lost hope and felt alone really, we were closer to God. . My Jesus (feat. Crowder): This one begins with Crowder singing and feels like a powerful worship song. It has more of a Hillsong church vibe. They are great at harmonizing together and their voices blend perfectly together. I wouldn’t be shocked if this one is also sent to radio at some point. Overall, I enjoyed watching and listening to the whole album. I believe this album will continue setting records. She may even go on to be the Taylor Swift of Christian music. I can also see her going on to add more country style into her work. I think personally she has that southern sounding vibe to our album. I also loved how she has worked with High Valley and covered Boondocks by Little Big Town. I immensely loved the message she shared about losing her brother and how open she is in sharing the pain and how God has always been there for her. I believe listeners will be able to connect to her lyrics and gain a closer relationship with Christ.

Christian music is bad enough, but when you pair it with another abominable music genre, country & western, well, you just get a miasma of auditory raw sewage. This album stinks. So does the entire genre, but this one in particular. Steer clear. Go get a nice ZZ Top record. Rock out a little bit.

1. This album was made for Cece - From time to time you hear a song and realize this person was meant for this song. But it’s rare to find an entire album can only be sung by one artist. Hearing Cece sing this album you quickly recognized this was meant for her to sing. From the tone, melodies, lyrics and most importantly the spirit and anointing that is immediately evident. Frankly, it’s hard to find the words at how perfect a match Cece and these songs are. She owns them in a way no one else will ever be able to. God bless Cece Winans. MarieThomas New Braunfels Tx - CeCe Winans song Believe In It has really opened my heart and eyes on knowing that all it takes is to not just know God but to trust, and believe that he can make miracles happen and he will do what he says and promises. All I have to do is BELIEVE. I have a son that was diagnosed with schizophrenia and my husband and I had no clue as to what or how to deal with this. Been dealing and trying to understand this for the last years. Long story short, I woke up this Christmas morning happy and excited to be celebrating Jesus’s birthday. While making breakfast I was listening to my Christian music, herd this song and started crying because I herd a voice tell me that if I ask my God to break these chains that’s changed my son who’s now years old into someone we sometimes don’t recognize. But as a mother I’ve never allowed the devil to stand in my way of being there for him regardless of what he’s done to me. A voice told me that I need to believe God can and will do miracles and to trust that if I ask him, he will deliver his promise. 4. Absolutely stunning. Highlight of her career. - I've always appreciated CeCe Winans' music, but I was totally unprepared for this album. It is masterful and the live recording has so much energy, so much joy, it is so worshipful. This is far and away the best album of CeCe's career. It's just blown me away. From her originals (Alabaster Box) to covers of some contemporary worship songs, just about every track on this album is a standout. I rated something like tracks with stars. What a gift! CeCe has truly gotten better with age.

6. Amazing! Even as a “non-believer”..... - Although I grew up in the the church, I am no longer a “believer”. 3. Amazing! But… - I think that this is overall a great album, and I especially like “Lion” and “Dancing”. However, I bought it exactly weeks ago and it still hasn’t fully downloaded. This is a major issue, because of the music videos still won’t play. I have tried restarting my iPhone several times and it still claims that the videos are bytes. On my iPad it works just fine, but I think the files might be corrupted nonetheless.

4. Write this into your gratitude journal - In I was a new Christian and years old. I would go to the Christian bookstore that had listening centers. I would go down the aisle, take the cassette tape out of the case, put on the provided head phones and listen to Amy Grant, Rich Mullins,Carmen,Geoff Moore, The Imperials, Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W.Smith to name a few. Yes I am old! Now, here I sit at my kitchen table, with the same excitement and eager anticipation to crank up iTunes and listen to music for this generation! It is so good! 6. Great Job! - Gotta say I didn't like the direction of the last album. Even though Jireh was a huge hit, it seemed like they were abandoning their power worship ballads of the past like Resurrecting, Do It Again and Here As In Heaven. This album brings back a couple of worship rocking anthems. I can't give the entire album stars but I will give it thanks to tracks. My favorite is Welcome Resurrection. "You Can Do Anything." Great line. This will play well live in concert. I also enjoy the title track Lion. Talk about a rocking chant that will also be a crowd favorite in person. The rd track I really enjoyed is a change of pace for the band, "Dancing." This is a nice love song that has a cool vibe to it. One other track of note is "Why?" It sounds like Needtobreathe is the Valley Boys. I could be wrong but it sounds like a Bear Rinheart imposter. The rest of the songs are nice but nothing that I will remember and nothing bad. I will say that I didn't think I would enjoy this many songs since the bar wes set very high but a couple of them will be great songs to worship God to. Thank you Elevation worship for bringing it as well as your constant support of new artists.

8. Lamb or Lion - both are not Pathetic - Before Jesus came in the form of a man, people of those days would sacrifice a lamb, for the remission of sins. Jesus is referred to as the Lamb, because He became the sacrifice for all of us and the remission of our sins. Jesus is also called "the Lion of Judah" as a reference to his family lineage and power. The Tribe of Judah is often symbolized by the lion. Looking forward to the new music. You can put a honeybee on the cover and I will still buy it. 9. Correct Animal, Elevation - Elevation is being clever. They put a lamb on the Lion album because Jesus is both the lion and the lamb. In Revelation, a passage introduces the Lion of Judah with the appearance of the Slain Lamb. As for the cloud reference, in one story of Elijah, he says the faith filled line that he hears the abundance of rain...despite no clouds being visible on the horizon. Their album covers reflect these Bible accounts. Awesome!

2. Uhh - I’ve never heard of Charity, but this was my first time I’ve heard her sing I Speak Jesus, in this song, I DO NOT feel the Holy Ghost in the song. Darlene Zsech ( I think that’s how you spell her last name ) sings this song. And I definitely feel the Holy Ghost in that version! So tbh, Charity and the other people didn’t sing the song good at I Speak Jesus.

Brandon Lake’s voice is a dynamic power house. The entire album is a beautiful rock worship anthology of well composed songs with scriptural lyrics. My favorite songs are “I Need A Ghost”, “Temple”, “Lost in Your Love” and “Graves into Gardens.”

2. Awesome God - Don't know anything about the album, but I purchased "Awesome God" and it is a good song, but the last minute and ten seconds are of clapping at the end of the song. Why? This is no finer example of modern praise music than this - Who would've thought that a kid from my neck of the woods in West Virginia could ever achieve this kind of lofty status in America's praise-music movement? But Michael W. has, and he deserves every one of the awards and honors he's won -- as well as his spot on Sean Hannity's Freedom Tours. This album, Worship, is Smith at the very top of his game, and he is very comfortable in the role of worship leader. Reviewers - why so harsh? - This is a great album and like others have rightly pointed out - many artists write from what they're going through at a particular time, so for baring his heart and sharing a bit of his journey with us, the listeners, he is to be commended. Hits a Broader audience - As someone who left the Christian faith, due to some of the horrible examples they have done to me and my family, I enjoy the fact that Toby references God and Jesus as “You.” It allows you to infer the songs in your own way, and give appreciation for the song as it strikes you. I get that it is Christian music, and having such a strong faith is absolutely beautiful. I love that people are so passionate about it. 15. TobyMac never disappoints! - Toby's latest album is another home run! He continues his blend of uplifting and upbeat. True, he may be venturing beyond his rap roots, but his sound never ages! Just like his previous album, "This is Not a Test," he adds in a variety of new sounds, such as the catchy horns and cool guitar riffs in "Everything" and "Hello Future." He also sticks with the dance pop sound in some songs ("I just need u" and "Edge of My Seat"). The title track, especially, is powerful, beginning with a snowstorm in the background and ending with a prayer. Well done, Toby!

Decent Lyrics, Insipid Music - Casting Crowns has a great band name, but the indistinctive vocals of Mark Hall (and the rest of the too-big band), along with the imitation vanilla music, keeps this group somehow making money for the CCM machine. This release doesn't dound much different from the band's other offerings. Which is a shame. Casting Crowns hasn't bothered to transform itself into anything more than a church worship group that just happened to score a record deal. "Only Jesus" cements CC's status as Hobby Lobby background shopping sounds.

4. Okay, so... - Look, I get what people mean when they say that Casting Crowns has changed a lot since their original albums, and I agree. But that’s not what’s really important about it. Casting Crowns continually outputs tracks that are Christ-centered and refreshing to a many Christians. In my humble, unprofessional opinion, I think that Casting Crowns is just as good as they have always been, if not better. One More Song for You, Even When You’re Running, and One Awkward Moment are easily some of my favorite Casting Crowns songs ever. Overall, this is an incredible album with a great meaning behind it. 3. Album Of The Year Every Genre - This album is off the charts awesome. The entire thing from start to finish is about as good as it gets. Joel and Luke Smallbone and the entire band are also about as good of people as you will find in any industry. I just experienced their concert in Fresno and you get the sense and feel of the hand of God. Simply amazing and their songs are are so catchy. 2. Outstanding! - My goodness! Where to begin? Chris! You’ve done it again. What an amazing collection of songs, some of the best you’ve written. every song is beautiful, worshipful, deep, and meaningful. Strongholds has to be some of your strongest and boldest lyrics yet, and I know that this song will set so many people free and break so many chains. Holy Forever is just such a special song. It’s a song that will be sung for ages to come. It truly captures a piece of Heaven. No wonder you released it early! I believe in Jesus it’s beautiful and simple and states our believed so beautifully and it’s just a great song that contains the gospel. I could say something about every song on this album, but I will just pick one more. Precious Love! WOW! What a beautiful, powerful hymn you’ve written! Goodness gracious! Seeing you get choked up while singing it during the live stream which by the way was outstanding! Thank you for such a beautiful time of worship, just speaks to the power of this song. always is the perfect title, because as you stated beautifully in every song, God is always the same yesterday, today, and always and the Lord is faithful always. you should be extremely proud of yourself. 1. Newest Songs st, Gets the Five - I like the idea that it starts out with the newest songs first, and then goes backwards from there. Kind of like some of my home-made playlists. It looks like people are liking this, mostly ratings. I'm just now getting ready to check out her new single, Put a Little Love in Your Heart. A classic from the s, as I recall, with a good beat, with a message that we need today.

1. Problem lyrics - I think the song Grace Got You really missed the mark on its lyrics. The idea that Christians should be laughing about how they "just got away with something" is hideous. Jesus did not go to the cross so that we can wink at sin and chuckle about how we got by with something. It trivializes sin. It's a shame because the song is really upbeat and catchy if you don't think about what it's saying. The song Even If is a good one, though.

2. MercyMe caves to stupid producers - I LOVE Best News Ever and Even If. Otherwise, this is a poor album. MercyMe's production team exapnded to include Solomon Olds, David Garcia, and other people who help write pretty much all CCM songs out there. Now even MercyMe sounds cliche. The songs are repetitive with boring synth instrumentation and annoying sound effects. Grace Got You is by far the worst track on this album--sounds like an extended product jingle.
