1. Blurry Creatures - the true National Treasure - These guys are doing amazing work with this podcast. Initially I was intrigued by the fact that they were looking at “blurry creatures” through a biblical lens, because my own interest in those subjects come from that perspective. By episode , my worldview and understanding of things was beginning to change. Now, episodes in, my faith has a new depth, dots have made meaningful connections, and I’m still learning/considering new ways to look at issues, all while being pointed to the Truth.

2. This podcast is totally awesome! - Love this podcast! The ’s references are great. The experts interviewed on all things “blurry” are well-researched and super interesting. Guests who come on to share their experiences are incredible. Appreciate these guys sense of humor and Christian perspective too!

3. Condolences - Dr. Heiser was an amazing man. His intellect speaking on the Bible got my hooked immediately. I have read the entire Bible but enjoy hearing it explained. I am a cancer survivor and am so saddened that the good doctor never got the chance to exhale!! Hearing from your oncologists that you are “cured”. I put that in quotes because you NEVER KNOW when it’s going to rear its ugly head. I pray for this brilliant wonderful man. God bless his soul.

4. Blurry Creatures- Every Episode! - My condolences on the passing of this amazing man! I haven't heard of many of your guests and I've been amazed and all kinds of other emotions each guest brings up. I was very sad to hear of the passing of Dr Heiser as well. That last podcast you did with him prior to his death was especially poignant. What I've been blessed most by your show is how badly we were raised in the churchian doctrine that supplanted any original teaching but even that was absent of Dr. Heiser's seminal teaching on theUnseen Realm and the Court of Heaven. The best byproduct of all your guests is to teach us how to pray and not be afraid when the Blurry Creatures suddenly become starkly visible. May God continue to richly bless you by more & more ppl finding comfort & strength in who the Lord Jesus really is and sharing these personal accounts of supernatural encounters with the current landlord. Oh and every episode w/Timothy Albariño. I always need to listed at least x to his, Dr. Heiser many times over. Can't say enough great things about your shows!

5. Best. Podcast. Ever. - Everything a podcast should be, from very cool music (love the s vibe!), to great hosts, entertaining and expert guests, and the most intriguing content!
Nate and Luke balance each other out perfectly and treat every guest with respect, demonstrating a sincere interest and open-minded curiosity that is often hard to find on this type of format. With intelligence and humility (a rare combination) they tackle each subject in a way that makes you feel they are your long time buddies, just sitting with you in your living room, engaged in fun, effortless conversation.
Regarding the subject matter, this isn’t just an informative podcast. It’s a journey of discovery that is truly awesome!

6. I love this podcast! - It’s the only podcast I listen to regularly and get excited about each new episode. These guys are great hosts to intriguing guests. The show is well produced. I can’t wait to see where this goes! Hopefully video versions will be available one day so we can se some visuals of the sort of creatures they are discussing when possible. I didn’t believe in Bigfoot until listening to this and understanding the possible origins of such a creature. This podcast has opened my mind to a lot of interesting topics and helped me see that so much more is possible within my Christian world view. And non-Christians will vibe well with this too. It’s all a journey! Definitely give this show a shot if you are on the fence!

7. on episode - You guys lost me on this one!
So far the only episode that stunk,
have been liking and sharing the rest. The guest father is sowing untruths for sure! “A year and a half to complete an excorsim…” That’s because catholic rituals are whack are pagan. Jesus Christ taught us differently.
Evil spirits gone in a second.
Don’t follow religion follow the truth and power and authority in Christ Jesus!

8. Obsessed with this podcast! - I’m going to start off with saying that I’m not a podcast person. I’ve tried listening to a few in the past, but they’ve just never been for me. THIS podcast however is mind blowing! Forget binging shows or moves etc., binge this! I love how they never try to convince you one way or another, it’s just bringing information to the table that you can do what you want with. I’ve shared this podcast with a few people already and have even found a blurry creatures sticker in a really random spot in South Dakota. Please keep this up guys because I just finished episode and I’m already worried about “catching up”!

9. Awesome stuff - Truly awesome stuff I have witnessed a couple supernatural things this last year or so and did not really know what to make of them. I have always been skeptical of this kind of stuff but that all changes rather fast when you see crazy stuff with your own eyes. I was pushed to listen to this by a friend and it has helped me put some stuff in its proper place.

10. Opens the Dialogue at the Table - Who is tired of the Church telling you to sit down and shut up and not question?! I am.
I WAS.
This show was the bridge that started answering my questions I’ve had since I was little by interviewing Dr. Heiser.
And no.
I know I’m not God and I’ll never know ALL the answers because we as mere humans will never put The Creator in a box—but that’s what this show blows out of the water:
How the Church HAS put Him in a box.
Has fallen asleep.
Has forgotten we are in a SPIRITUAL struggle. BC has shattered that box and has reignited the hunger and awe of The Most High.

1. There and Back Again: Listener Thoughts - This has become one of my favorite podcasts within the last six months. When I first listened, I was a little unsure because other podcasts I’ve tried to listen to with only male hosts just weren’t the business. While I initially enjoyed the content, and still do, my thoughts on the hosts have evolved. I’ll share them below. (Mike)
Then: This guy sounds like a hipster elitist tumblr poster in that hates anything that’s popular.
Now: Any time he makes a satirical comment, an angel gets it’s wings. (Wes)
Then: Dude sounds like a huge nerd. Like he probably told the teachers in high school when classmates were passing notes.
Now: Bro is absolutely down for the cause and consistently raging against the capitalist machine. (Jeff)
Then: He sounds like he has two brain cells too busy boxing each other to figure out how to pronounce certain words.
Now: A total silly goose with a face that could launch a thousand ships. I said what I said. Now go listen to Tooth and Claw.

2. Love the podcast!! - This is my FAVORITE podcast! I truly appreciate all of Wes’ animal facts and how animals are portrayed. I also love Mike and Jeff’s jokes! (laughing out loud in a quiet office is not cool tho) Overall amazing podcast thank you all for the content! Wish episodes came out more often :(

3. Boy howdy is this the best podcast on the planet - To say this podcast isn’t the greatest, would be a bold faced lie. I have been listening to these guys for I’d say almost years now and my life has been changed… (for the better!) I started listening to this podcast just to get me thru my workday. As a dog groomer with ADHD I need something to help keep me focused on the task at hand. These guys are so relatable that I’d find myself nodding and or responding to them (even though it’s clearly prerecorded and they obviously can’t hear me. But that’s how much they make you feel like your friend. Lol.) I’ve always been interested in wild life but never to the extent that I am now. Wes gives so many interesting facts about all kinds of animals… as well as constantly referencing books, articles, documentaries, etc. where you can find even more information. Not only that, he tells embarrassing stories about himself which makes it EVEN MORE relatable. It’s a very well balanced podcast. I have learned so many new terms that I never knew before, and I use them regularly now thanks to Wes. Thanks for making me sound smart my guy. What to say about Jeff… Jeff is hilarious. He reminds me so much of myself and how my own brain operates. He is always cracking jokes. You know he’s smart even though sometimes he doesn’t act like it… How about that time he thought African wild dogs were in Australia… Whatever you do, don’t ask him to pronounce Svalbard. Lol. Which adds a whole different vibe to the podcast. I mean all of them are funny but Jeff takes the cake… and ice cream?! Inside joke. You’d get it if you listened. Mike. I feel as though he is an underrated member. Now I’m not gonna say I’m saving the best for last, because I honestly couldn’t tell you who’s the best. I find them all equally amazing in their own way. Mike is a key member to this group for sure. The podcast wouldn't be the same without him. He might not have an animal background, but his hatred for horses and hermit mentality is what I like most about him. Not that I hate horses… although one did step on my foot as a kid so I would say I appreciate them from afar. I apologize for such a long review. Wes I don’t want to hear TLDR. I appreciate you guys so much and all that you do. If you ever find yourself in Lake Tahoe, hit me up. Ps. Sign up for their Patreon. They will answer your questions and there is so much bonus content. Love you guys. Kerrisa B.

4. BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I love this show so much! It’s hilarious and I know so many things about so many things, that I would have never know if it wasn’t for tooth and claw. Like how hippos don’t actually swim, they just walk along the bottom of the river! And ever since I listened to the first hippo episode, I’ve been obsessed with them and there my favorite animal. Now I’m set on being a hippo biologist when I grow up! I have heard Almost every episode and I love every single one!

5. Awesome podcast - As someone who enjoys learning about animals, and understanding them more, this podcast was an amazing find. I never thought that I’d enjoy learning about animal attacks, but I have found it to be incredibly interesting, and the hosts of the show do a great job of keeping you engaged in the story. All in all, an amazing podcast.

6. This podcast turned me into a Bear Spray Simp - This is the best podcast ever if you like animal attack stories told the correct way and the outdoors in general. These three are so hilarious and informative. I have never felt more confident at the thought of running into wild life and how to camp safely. bearsprayevr

7. The whole family loves tooth and claw - Tooth and claw is the number one requested thing to listen to when our whole family is in the car. I have kids aged to and every one of my kids loves tooth and claw. I love the education my kids get and it really has helped them to not be so afraid of animals. Well done boys!
2023-03-20
8. Loves it!! - I love the banter between the hosts, Jeff has the comic relief down to a science. Mike reminds me of the American version of Karl Pilkington. This is a compliment of highest regard in my opinion. Wes knows his stuff, and is very good about giving possible reasons for attacks and how to deter them from happening. I also love the ’s movies and all Simpsons references they give. I did want to throw out the movie Project X with Matthew Broderick and Helen Hunt. About Chimpanzees learning to fly. In the Moe chimp episode you said most movies didn’t use older chimps due to aggressiveness etc.. this movie does and for an ’s movie it’s quite a good one. Anyway, keep up the good work I truly enjoy your podcast.

9. I adore this podcast! - I first heard Wes when he recapped Cocaine Bear on the Too Scary; Didn't Watch podcast. Right after that I went to Tooth and Claw and listened to the Night of the Grizzly episodes as he suggested. After that, I went back and started listening from the beginning, and within a week I had signed up for their Patreon so I could hear more. The show is smart, educational, and funny and the guys are delightful to listen to. I feel much more prepared for, and less scared of a possible wild animal encounter, even though I don’t really like being out in nature for extended periods of time.

10. Very entertaining and educational - Love, love, love this podcast. It Is very entertaining and educational. As a dog walker, I listen to many podcasts throughout the day, everyday and this podcast is by far my favorite. Every time an episode drops, it’s like Christmas morning. This is also the only podcast that I’ve paid to become a subscriber just so I can’t listen to more episodes. I just love the dynamics among Mike, Jeff & Wes. They are entertaining. I also enjoy the educational portion of the podcast too. Can’t get enough of it. Keep up the good job guys. Sandy

1. Joshua tree local guide approved. - I own and operate a hiking guiding business that operates in joshua tree national park. Great podcast that covers a broad range of topics. Worth a listen even if you are a full fledged desert geek. I especially liked episode and for their general overview of the park. Thanks and hope you continue to make more.

1. Love this podcast! - I am so enjoying this podcast. I just began listening about two weeks ago and I can’t stop listening. I’m sharing the information I learn with my dad who is fascinated. My husband is WFH and eavesdrops from his office while I listen and loves Ivan’s voice and is digging the information. It’s a great podcast. Thanks, Ivan!!

2. Incredible - I love learning, I prefer to listen and learn rather than listen to music. Thusly, I’ve been listening to podcasts for over a decade now. Finding the perfect balance of humor coupled with good information is extraordinarily difficult, and it’s a task few manage to accomplish. Ivan is among those few. It’s rare that I find a podcast that as soon as one episode is done, that I’m excited to start another. But this is one. Do yourself a favor and listen, you won’t regret it.
2023-02-23
3. FINALLY!!!! - I have been looking for a good fun science podcast for forever. Something that I can listen to while I go on walks but without it being scientifically too dry and boring. And since I am new to the birding hobby, this is really perfect as this podcasts shows you how incredibly impressive these creatures are. It’s also a plus that the host is a funny nerd and has a great podcast voice.
2023-02-17
4. An Excellent Podcast - As someone who is not even a full year into keeping a life list, I have thoroughly enjoyed binging nearly the entire library of episodes here. I spend a lot of my own time looking up photos of birds for drawings and to help me ID birds. This podcast is an awesome resource for an entirely different side of birds I may not have heard about or looked into as much without it. The combination/balance of the lighthearted approach, humor, teaching style, and seriousness/honesty about important issues when needed all make it so great! Thanks for all you do Ivan!

5. Podcast school - I've got forest nerds that homeschool. We are in the car often, going from various activities or outdoor adventures. I love finding quality podcasts to fill that time with informative but also entertaining content. This fits perfectly! My kids get excited to learn about their favorite birds, of which there are many. I am not so bored to death that it's a chore (I much prefer music while driving, but more so prefer no arguing in the car so nerdy podcasts it is!). Grateful to Ivan for sharing his knowledge!

6. Educating and entertaining - I love birds but didn’t know too much about them. I started looking for podcasts to help me out. I’ve listened to quite a few, and “The Science of Birds,” is, without a doubt, the best podcast out there! How is one guy just talking about birds so fabulous? I don’t know, but I’m hooked. Thanks, Ivan!
2023-01-18
7. Hilarious and Educational - I love this podcast, and not just because I love birds. Ivan is such a good presenter, he explains things so well, in plain English, with a health dose of humour. I’ve tried other bird podcasts but this is the only one I can get into. A personal favourite is the episode on bird forensics… I was crying alone in my car about “splarge”.
2022-12-01
8. Best Bird Podcast - The Science of Birds is the first podcast I ever listened to and remind the only one I consistently check for new episodes! Even for this of us who already love all things bird, Ivan makes the subject even more enjoyable with an enthusiastic presence and humor. Thank you for creating something so enjoyable.
2022-11-08
9. fabulous podcast on all aspect of birds and bird science - This podcast is so well done, and so well organized. Ivan Phillipsen explains bird science, in enough detail, for everyone to understand, and delves into phylogenetic trees, theories, I really appreciate the way he elaborates on his topics. For example, he gives background facts before he explores a topic like feathers. He explains the various layers of skin on vertebrates, he includes that fish scales arise from a deeper layer of skin than the other vertebrates’ epidermis, so they don’t share the same origin as feathers, horns, nails, and hair.
I love the evolutionary science he includes.
2022-10-16
10. Flawless podcast - I’ve been listening from the beginning for the past couple of weeks and i love the podcast. The information is presented succinctly, clearly and enthusiastically. I thought it would be too in-depth and too laden with dry science vocab for me to find it interesting but boy was I wrong. It’s such a fun podcast and he does a great job of personifying the birds and empathizing with them.

1. Just from episode … - … alone. stars!! I about choked when he said “she wasn’t as ‘GIFTED’ as Patty”. Oh my gosh I LOST it. I wasn’t prepared for that plot twist at ALL! Totally still cracking up. On the show itself… it’s great. He allows the speaker to tell their story directly, but INTERACTS with the caller. Interactive questions are asked making it more interesting. Every episode has kept me on the edge of my seat! The encounters are mostly scary; which I LOVE! Honestly, this might be my new favorite Sasquatch podcast. I’d definitely sign up for a monthly subscription to get additional shows! KeepUpTheGoodWork

2. Disappointed - I really enjoyed the show until you started trying to put down Steve from howtohunt.com. It came across sounding so arrogant and entitled when all he has done is give people a voice. Maybe step back and learn from him and the success of his show. As you said yourself “it really muddies the waters”. Do better. Be more like Steve.

1. Bogus - I can’t believe people believe in this stupid trash. Bigfoot has been scientifically disproven. Why do people even listen to these shows. I am very science literate, with thousands, upon thousands of science books of many different topics, and Bigfoot is made up of many tall tales. Listen to real science, not lies.

2. Love this story! This guy from Alberta, Canada is a natural story teller! - Great encounters! Riveting! And I love his Canadian accent and expressions - very descriptive and convincing. I’ve listened to this episode or times already. I’ll probably listen to it again. Love the way Vic just lets him tell his story without interruptions. Great show you’ve put together - love it! Jim in Peoria AZ

3. Intro - I’m a something metal head that has never listened to country music. All you haters of the into….dead wrong. Really good in my opinion for many reasons but the fact that a Podcaster is singing it makes it even better. Stop hatin…..we all are related and we all want acceptance. Good tune…

4. If you like Sasquatch….. - This episode has Patrick telling us of his experiences. I so enjoyed this episode I wish it was more hours long.
Do yourself a favor and check out Vic’s other podcasts . Dogman, Bigfoot, paranormal and more . Also, if you’ve had a experience PLEASE get ahold of Vic , and tell us what happened. All his channels are no judgement zones . I subscribe to all of his channels, Vic’s Dogman channel is my favorite. My thoughts are “ these people are seeing something “. Thank you Vic & Patrick for a great episode, this one is in my top of all time . Everyone be well, be nice and listen with an open mind

5. My opinion of certain episodes - Some of these sightings are really interesting and enjoyable. Others go on way too long and I feel like the narrators get caught up in their own storytelling and that’s when I tune out. Just the facts - please don’t try to make your encounter shinier or more drawn out then it needs to be. Most of all don’t make it up as you go, intelligent listeners can pick up on it immediately. Thank you!!!
2022-01-25
6. Great show! - I have issue with people who leave less than positive reviews because of intro and outro music…if you need to sleep to the show, then play a lullaby! Vic, great show, love the guests and the episodes. We appreciate all the content we get. There are many podcasts that simply are too hard to listen to because of this poor audio and lack of format! Thank you for all you do!
2021-12-23
7. Meh - What brought me into this genre of podcast were the eyewitness accounts in an interview style, where you could almost hear the witnesses relive the experience. This show leaves a little to be desired, IMO. For the most part, it’s easy to hear that these people are just reading something off a paper, not necessarily giving an account. Entertaining, but doesn’t have the same feel as the y show
2021-11-03
8. Good but… - Ok, so far I’m enjoying the show. My wife and I listen to Bigfoot shows as we fall asleep. Unfortunately we can’t listen to this show because of the horrible intro and exit songs it wakes us up & not in a good way. Please keep it mild like you other shows Vic. I’ll give you a star I promise!

1. Excellent Topics, - Thank you for bringing vital and current topics in ornithology & ecology to us as well as diverse voices. I learn something in every episode. The host, Nate, while charming, could benefit from training in interviewing, listening, asking questions, and journalism. It’s cringey when he inserts himself into the midst of important information or tries to show that he knows all about the topics. His guests are almost always skilled public speakers and his interjections, giggles, and redirecting to himself are a distraction. Longtime ABA member here, and I’ll keep listening, but the pod could use a little more polish.
2023-02-08
2. Getting better all the time! - I have been amazed at both the quality of guests and the scope of content on this ever-growing podcast! From the most highly respected birders and conservationists of our times to everyday birders like me; the ABP features something for everyone with an interest in birds and conservation. It’s realistic, but optimistic take on the resilience of birds is a balm for troubling times. Today I listened to one of the most recognized and passionate ornithologists in the world. Peter Harrison’s life work reflects his genius… simply inspiring! Thanks for all you do, ABA and Nate!

3. Swallow tailed kites - I really enjoyed your - episode. When Nick and Ted described seeing swallow tailed kites in Panama and Columbia. It made me think that I had not seen our swallow tailed kites since mid August here in south east Florida. They must have made their fall migration to those locations and it’s very interesting to me to know I get to witness their arrival and departure. I’ve only been in SE Florida for a little over a year and used to live in Upstate NY enjoying spring migration time close to Ithaca. Keep up the great work!
2022-10-11
4. The Birdiest podcast around - Great work, Nate! I love Nick Lund too, wish you had him on even more. Other suggestion is to extend the Rare Bird report significantly. I think you could make a whole podcast about this - bringing on guests or playing excerpts from birders who saw or chased the birds - or bringing on a scientist studying a certain species (ex. limpkin)
2022-10-05
5. Arizona - Love this podcast. Wondering if we can have a few episodes that focus on the west? I live in Tucson and we have so many cool birds in SE Arizona, but doesn’t seem like we talk about them much. Hummingbirds, raptors and flycatchers.. Maybe this is already happening but I haven’t been listening long enough.
2022-09-01
6. Favorite Pod of the Week - I love the ABA Podcast. Nate is a great host. He’s funny, knowledgeable and recruits great guests. I really value the diversity of his guests, and the multiple perspectives and experiences they share. My favorite episode was the podcast with Peri Sasnett on Clark’s Nutcrackers. I loved the deep dive into one species. I learned so much from Peri and Nate about this remarkable species. Keep up the great work!
2022-08-19
7. Just too political and snarky these days - This used to be my go to birding podcast, but in the past year or two it has taken a turn for the worse. The podcast host has decent segments and excellent guests, but he projects a snarky attitude that makes my eyes roll on most occasions. It’s also unfortunate that he blasts and ridicules other negative podcast reviews on various social media outlets. That doesn’t seem professional for the ABA. I hope the show improves. There’s not exactly a plethora of birding podcasts to choose from, so until then I’ll be offline enjoying the birds. Steve,
Missouri
2022-07-28
8. No More - The actual birding segments were okay. But the host has always had an irritating snark. Then the show went "woke" with the stuff we go birding to get away from. I been looking at a fb site about ivorybilled woodpeckers and see he posts in it a lot. Mean and nasty to people who believe ivorybills still exist and calling them truthers like they are wackos who won't accept his opinion. He insults people who report seeing ivorybills saying they are embellishing, dishonest and grifting. Seeing the guys behavior towards others I cant listen any more. I thought birding was about respecting the environment and birds and other people. I guess not at least for this ABA bigshot. No more for me.

9. Still enjoying this podcast. - I’ve been listening to this podcast for a long while and still look forward to checking in every Thursday for the next episode. I enjoy how this podcast covers a wide range of subjects which is both informative and promotes birding for all those who enjoy watching birds.
2022-06-15
10. Always interesting and informative - I really enjoy this podcast. Host Nate Swick keeps a good balance of stories and guests. I enjoy the panels where guests just chat about birding, usually with some good laughs. (Got a kick out of “most over- and under-rated warbler.”) But most of all, I appreciate that I always learn something new about birds. Keep up the good work!

1. This podcast is legit - I can’t stand ego in podcasting and these dudes are some of the most humble and down to earth dudes I’ve encountered in the podcast world. Been following and listening for awhile now and just decided to support the show since I really am enjoying the content. Living in Ohio, not having a scientific mind, and being familiar with the places they speak about makes it a unique experience listening. One thing is for sure I’m never bored or not intrigued while listening. Stay frosty lads and ladette’

2. Floating Mushroom is - Heard you guys several times on Kill The Mockingbirds and love the fact you are all doing a show together! This was an awesome first episode and I can’t wait to hear the next one! I read through your comments and some guy was complaining about the sound and how the loud guy, I’ll assume the ginger, was distracting. Sounds like his butt cheeks were too tight and might need to end up in the back of the Smithsonian as an artifact in Jay’s collection. Keep rolling fellas!!

3. Love this podcast, but…. - Not a fan of the new format. The new additions to the show add to the previous format, however the newest episode released on / gets me a bit worried for what’s coming. I really enjoy the science Justin brings to the podcast when it comes to cryptids and Jays theories and thoughts of what is brought forward during the conversations. The new members from kill a mockingbird podcast will definitely add theories to the show, however Joel is a bit much, way too much for me. Maybe it was the acoustics in the room but Joel was about times louder than the other members, which was a bit obnoxious. It was as if a few members were wasted and tried recording a podcast. Tone it down a bit please. Giving the show stars from what I heard previously after finding the show from the confessionals, but again the new format is not what I look forward to listening to.

4. Good Podcast BUT…. - I heard these guys on the Confessionals and thought I’d give them a chance. I was listening to the Floating Mushroom” episode and the info was interesting but I was too distracted and irritated by the varying microphone levels. One sounded like they were talking out of a tin can. Then the really loud guy almost blew my eardrums out! The sound was actually distorted he was so loud. And it wasn't my headphones, I have apple pros. It’s not necessary to scream and cackle into the mic. It really takes away from the engaging content your putting out. So please get better audio so you all are at the same mic level and have the loud mouth guy tone it down. Screaming is so unnecessary!

5. - Heard you guys on The Confessionals, Appalachian Intelligence, Coon Huntin Confidential, UNcomfortable & probably a bunch of other shows. I’m sorry it took me so long to get here but I’m glad I did. Great content, fascinating topics & interesting conversations. Thank you for what you do. ’s Definitely Recommend!!

6. Strangecraft Well Executed - Like a Michael Crichton novel, this dynamic duo is able to provide just enough quasi-scientific technobabble to make the patently absurb and outright outlandish seem almost plausible. Get ready for a deep dive into the murky backstory of every cryptid you desperately hope exists. Plus who doesn’t enjoy the “Gilligan starts a PodCast with the Professor” dynamic. Buckle up, fire up COTC podcast & let’s get out there and find some cryptids! Yehaw

7. Absolutely amazing - This is the best cryptid podcast around. I’ve learned so much about salamanders!!!! Lol but seriously it’s so informative. It’s reminds me of me and my buddies sitting around shooting the bull. And Jay reminds of my wife cause he is always ruining the surprise. Love you guys. Don’t change.

8. Another arrow in your cryptid quiver, your future self is glad you decided to listen to these guys - Been listening to CotC for a couple
Weeks now and am lovin it. I ran out out of my other shows and was grasping for some more mana, then i stumbled across these guys. You wont be disappointed. Guys if you are still reading reviews it would be grrrrrreaat if you could deep dive the lima ohio “predator” sighting and the photo the Dr. Took that raises questions(also nearby ufo) and then do some heavy lifting on bigfoot and cloaking, teleportation, and mind speak. Need more awareness on the realities of woo -Ed from Loveland

9. Love this podcast! - I look every day for a new episode. The podcast covers all topics and the hosts handle the guest so well. They are knowledgeable on the subject and add some humor. I can’t wait to meet them at Encounter Quest in Hamlet, NC on April st. This will be my first conference and looking forward to a great time!

10. Kilt-we-alls - One of the best cryptids podcasts! They have serious credibility because one the hosts is an actual biologist. Real explanations that make scientific sense. So grab your Kilt-er-alls and enjoy the ride! You should look into the St Clair County Michigan Bigfoot sightings that damaged a local barn. Detroit News did an article on it.

1. A Podcast So Nice I Listen to Every Episode Twice!! - Hi, my name is Pat O’Sullivan, co-host of On Wednesday's We Talk Weird. I give Jeremiah Byron a lot of guff for being a CIA shill but at the end of the day he’s an incredibly hardworking dude with rock solid interview skills and a demeanor it’s just impossible not to love. If you listen to one podcast listen to mine, but if you’ve got the time to listen to two podcasts give Bigfoot Society a spin. PS - J.B John Birch
2023-03-16
2. Bigfoot Society is a fun place to hang - Having listened to every episode, I would say that The Bigfoot Society is an enjoyable place to go and listen to all things Cryptid. While Bigfoot is in the name, and that’s a large focus, there are plenty of guests who cover other areas of interest as well. Jeremiah is a fun and personable host and he creates a positive and welcoming community. He has done a great job also incorporating the personal experiences of individuals along with experts in the cryptozoology and paranormal fields.
2023-03-12
3. Can’t Get Enough! - Searched “Bigfoot” under the podcasts and it’s been magic ever since! This is such a well produced podcast! It is intriguing, well laid out, and you feel connected as a listener. It is an absolute treasure of a podcast. The audio is crisp and the speaker’s voice is pleasant to listen to. He finds such amazing story tellers. My next step is to follow on his other formats.
2023-03-12
4. If you like Cryptozoology or the weird, this is for you - Jeremiah is a great host and does an absolutely excellent job of sourcing interviews and guests to talk with. It’s impressive the amount of folks from the different corners of the paranormal world he lines up. Plus the open phone lines shows are a treat (definitely recommend checking those out live and even calling in yourself if you’ve got a story to tell!)

5. Amazing Podcast with an amazing person! - Bigfoot Society is an amazing podcast! Jeremiah is an overall nice genuine person and is a top interviewer! This is a family podcast that my kids love and can interact with the whole community. Every episode has someone different with different view points, opinions and work areas and that keeps it always interesting. The Patreon is definitely interactive and extremely active worth every penny! My whole family loves Jeremiah, his podcast, his merch, his TikTok’s and his lives! stars in every aspect!
2022-08-10
6. A great podcast on the subject of Bigfoot - Jeremiah enthusiasm in each episode is what really makes the show great. I’ve heard lots of podcasts on the subject and the host is usually pretty drab. I love to hear the host just as excited and enthusiastic as the person that is being interviewed! Great job!
2022-08-10
7. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow - This would be so much better if we could eliminate the chatter when guests are speaking. For example: wow, nice, awesome, yeah yeah yeah yeah, Mmmm, exactly, ok, right, so cool. Just let your guests talk man. We know you’re into this stuff. All the positive affirmations you shove in after a guest finishes a sentence isn’t necessary.
2022-08-03
8. Jeremiah is a doll - Not only is the guy a perfect interviewer, he’s a huge supporter for all things cryptid. You don’t get much more wholesome than Jeremiah Byron. The show itself is great. Jeremiah is a true cryptid journalist, staying completely neutral and allowing everyone in this community a platform to share their ideas. He’s professional to work with and professional on the microphone.
2022-07-16
9. Cryptid Clubhouse King - Jeremiah is ridiculously kind and has a voice that sounds sweeter than a rainstorm after a hundred year drought. He also started the Bigfoot Society Club on Clubhouse that brings fans of cryptozoology together to talk about great topics in the realm of weird and mysterious! Great host and an awesome podcast.
2021-05-01
10. More of This, Please - Bigfoot Society is the perfect name for this podcast, as it is genuinely interested in the people who are interested in Bigfoot. Jeremiah is an excellent host and conversationalist and it is exciting to observe him refining his approach. Respectful, thoughtful, and fun, Bigfoot Society is a refreshing listen.

1. Excellent breadth on Whitebark Pine episodes - The Season series on Whitebark Pine covered so much intricate detail…from the web between the trees, bears, and Clark’s nutcrackers to the Indigenous importance of the pines. Great in-depth coverage and broad ways of thinking about the trees and their role in our world. Thank you for such a wonderful podcast.
2022-11-29
2. Informative storytelling with fun facts - I stumbled upon this podcast recently and I’m so happy I did. I really enjoy the these stories about different areas of the park, I like that they interview people who were around for the events they are talking about. I like they include the indigenous people from the area to speak about meaning and traditions. It’s just a great storytelling podcast!
2022-10-01
3. wish I could listen for the first time again - I am someone who folds laundry in silence and spends minutes just looking out a window while doing absolutely nothing else. I don’t frequently listen to podcasts- only playing them while trying to stay awake driving or while working on a repetitive task. Now in saying that, I found it extremely difficult to not play Headwaters continuously and listen to a whole season in one sitting. Headwaters is beautifully crafted and produced, having a quality that I think is on par with podcasts created by NPR. I have worked at Glacier National Park for four years and have asked hundreds, if not thousands of people, why they chose to visit Glacier. This podcast provides such variety in its stories and its perspectives on northwestern Montana and its human history, intertwined ecosystems, and awe striking physical landscapes that it has me convinced that each of those one thousand people I have talked to would find a story that would resonate with them, allowing them to discover a deeper meaning and emotional response to their visit to the park. I am so proud of the team that put this podcast together. Even with one listen you can hear the amount of love, time, enthusiasm, and dedication that went into each episode. They explore this landscape in a way that has allowed for so many different disciplines to intersect, weaving together a story of Glacier that provides an avenue for others to feel a sense of place there while also creating a time capsule of what is understood about Glacier at this time. To be given the opportunity to get to know an area (that you may have not even visited) on such an intimate scale is such a gift. The depth and details of the stories provided bring to light emotional and physical ties to this region that would otherwise take decades to understand and discover. While listening to this podcast you can imagine the joy and the trials that have existed there for hundreds to millions of years. You can imagine how things have changed over that time period and what may continue to change in the future. But importantly, even if you’ve never been to Glacier and do not ever plan on going there, you are inspired to see the world around you in different ways. Places that you consider home come to light as you begin to think about the human and natural history that have combined to create that space you hold dear. Between the beautifully mixed score with that oh so amazing synth music coming through in Season Two and the emotionally charged stories - the variety of perspectives incorporated and the clear passion of the hosts, I give Headwaters stars and I would over and over again if I could. Best laundry I ever folded.

4. Entertaining, Insightful, Motivating - Last December I booked my trip to Glacier without knowing anything about it, so I found this podcast. I was not expecting it to be so well produced. Each episode is masterfully crafted with interesting and informative stories that prepped me to look for certain critters and plants during my visitor to the park. My backpacking guide was impressed I knew so much and I even met some rangers who were voice actors in the episode. Highly recommend if you’re even slightly interested in the park!

5. Great podcast for anyone visiting the park. - I have a nature loving nine year old who loves this podcast (as do I!). They are in the autism spectrum…and ever since their first trip to Glacier in have been hanging out for the new season. We must have listened to season one ten times. We’ll be back in Glacier later this summer…..hopefully we may even track down Gracie the Bark Ranger. Keep up the great podcast.

6. Surprisingly Delightful! - I’m not sure why I expected this to be a poorly made podcast, but I was happily surprised. It’s a very well produced podcast, the quality was as good as any NPR segment. Topic this season was surprisingly interesting as well. I’m really impressed and I hope there are many seasons to come. Thanks for all the work you guys do!

7. Glacier Headwaters podcast - I have been visiting and living near GNP all of my life. I find this podcast such a GREAT addition to the realm of all that Glacier Park has to offer. Each program has been so informative and fun. Everyone who plans to visit Glacier Park should listen to all of the podcasts BEFORE they visit! Clark’s nutcrackers have been one of my favorite birds since my childhood. I hear their call and it triggers a smile across my face—always. As well, I have lamented the decline of whitebark pines thoughout Glacier and beyond. This nd year of the podcast that is devoted to Whitebark Pines is such an excellent idea. I look forward to more episodes and hope the podcast continues for years!

8. Such a fun, informational, helpful podcast! - Stumbled across this podcast via the Glacier Instagram page. So happy I did - we are planning our first visit there in august and while we’ve done a lot of research, it’s still a bit overwhelming but Andrew and Michael give such a great overview of each of the pockets of the park from what to expect, culture, history, etc. that I feel so prepared and even more excited for our visit. With the background knowledge I’ve gained from this podcast, it certainly will bring a bigger sense of appreciation when we go in a few weeks. Thanks Andrew and Michael for great content!

9. Surpassed my expectations - This podcast is wonderful! When I read that park rangers made a podcast, I had pretty low expectations for the story telling and production. I was pleasantly surprised! The production quality is great, the hosts are so charming, and every episode makes me smile. I love learning about Glacier and hearing the human stories. Can’t wait to visit the park!
2021-04-13
10. Love, love, love the podcast! - I am on the road a lot and prefer audiobooks to the radio. My daughter turned me on to podcasts and this was the very first one that she suggested that I subscribe to. What a treat. I have learned so much and tho I probably will never go to Glacier National Park the educational value is stars! Can not wait for Season .

1. Science communication at its finest - Dr Wynn-Grant is so good at this. She gives me the vicarious joy of living my childhood dream of traveling for & doing science through her fascinating stories, while telling them through her unique & generously-personal perspective that refreshingly reminds me that Science (big S) is one of the most quintessentially human of endeavors. I wish her & her family all joy & luck & never-ending adventure!

2. A unique perspective into the world of science - I have enjoyed listening to the podcast. Every episode offers a unique perspective about being the underdog in fields of science that don’t expect to see black and brown scientists there. Every episode captured my attention while learning about fields of study I was unaware of. I hope this show resumes it’s episodes soon.

3. An eco conscious mom loves this! - As an old ol’ cultural anthropology major, highly independent woman and eco conscious mom of two- I LOVE THIS SHOW. It’s so fun to hear the human side of this work and all the things we can relate to: chasing dreams, time away from our kids and imposter syndrome… this show is so fun. It’s relatable and eye opening. I always learn something.

4. Amazing! - I found this podcast from Balanced Black Girl. I was so invested in every episode and I’m sad I made it to the end. As a kid, I dreamed of being a vet, then realized I didn’t have the capacity to handle that and I’ve always loved marine biology and watching nature documentaries. I still do, but that isn’t my reality in life anymore. This podcast had me wishing it was around years ago and I probably would be a different person than I am today. Please keep this going! This representation is what the world needs!

5. Amazing, can’t get enough! - I discovered this pod when Dr. Rae was interviewed on the National Park After Dark pod…and I am an awe! She speaks so eloquently and with such authenticity that I feel like I’m with her in every single adventure. Some of the stories bring me to tears, others are very funny. I’m learning so much…and I can’t wait to literally consume everything this incredible woman has been a part of. Thank you for all the the extraordinary work you do, Dr. Rae

6. Great podcast - Great show would love S to pick up where this one ends: bringing race and ecology together in Dr Wynn-Grants work and other BIPOC scientists. Honestly even having them talk to each other and relate to stories would be worth listening to. Update: S was great! So nice to hear a podcast that isn’t suspenseful or drama based. Even though I’m not a scientist academic, I can relate to the personal struggles the guests and Dr RWG talk about

7. My year old niece and I binged! - I learned about this podcast from The Black Guy Who Tips podcast. I have been listening and shared with my niece that is on the way to school one day. 8. What an amazing story of life and making choices - I follow this amazing Queen on her IG for about a year. A remarkable human being. I’m an Engineer and related to everything spoken. Thank You for sharing your journey to protect these Gorillas as well as opening up to us the struggle to know ones self. Blessings to you and everything you do.

9. Truly Engaging Podcast - I can't even remember how I came across this podcast, but I am so glad I did! I find myself absolutely riveted by the self-reflective, insightful, and vulnerable storytelling. I've enjoyed both when she goes solo and tells us about an exepedition she herself went on and when she interviews guests. I especially appreciate hearing what she learns about herself both profesionally and personally. As a Black female academic, this podcast gives me a living example of what it means to be courageous, ambitious, and curious; I am hungry for this example and I count down the days til Tuesday and each new podcast episode.

10. Love it! - I too am a black female scientist so I feel like our experiences are soooo similar. I found this podcast from me searching for podcasts on Tanzania as I had just returned from a family safari vacation there. I love hearing about her experience in Tanzania and Kenya and I will be listening to all her other episodes. My children love nature and wildlife so I want to learn more about her biography in case my son and/or daughter would want to return to East Africa for work when they are older. Awesome stories!!

1. Perfect podcast - This podcast is the best. If you love animals and people with lots of humor. This podcast has gotten me through so much, and I couldn’t recommend anything because this podcast is flawless. I am afraid of many animals, and when they do some of the animals I am afraid of, they give me a reason not to be afraid. I suggest this podcast. I don’t know who couldn’t give this a star rating. Have a nice day!

2. Best podcast ever. It is official. I don’t care if you don’t get a award. Best podcast ever - My dad recommended this to me, a ten almost eleven year old, and it is my favorite. I am trying to listen to each episode from number one. That has proven a fun challenge considering i started listening a year ago. With all that to say, I hands down declare that this is the best podcast ever. P.S. your pop culture references are amazing and hilarious P.S.S. You seriously don't know how much I appreciate your podcast

3. Amazingly addicting - I would’ve NEVER thought tapping on one new podcast would change my life. This podcast is about my three favorite things in the world, animal ratings, animal facts, even animals themselves! (I mean, why else would I like animal ratings and facts?)This podcast changed my life, and it will forever. I even listed to the podcast when I go to sleep. THAT’S how much I love it! Keep up the good work, and also, I would like it if you reviewed a Border Collie! (Dog breed) Stay fresh, you zoo!

4. Love it! - I’m a huge nature nerd (especially animals)! I I watch all the documentaries I can, read tons of books, and I’m so happy o started this podcast. If you’re into animals you’ll dig this one

5. Great science/biology podcast - I looove this podcast. It’s so reliably fun and interesting and while it’s specifically kid-friendly, it’s great for adults too. I almost become an entomologist, and while I’ve left that life behind, this show is great a peeking the interests that initially led me in that direction!

6. A perfect workout podcast - I love the energy in this podcast. The hosts are so laid back and excited about the topics, and I get to learn about animals I never would have thought to read about. Keep up the amazing work, looking forward to working through the back catalogue as I kick up my exercise routine!

7. Lovely, Fun, and Informative! - I absolutely love this podcast! Ellen and Christian bring a wonderful energy to their animal reviews, which reignited a love for animals that had faded after I stopped getting Zoobooks as a child. Their lighthearted banter mixed with well-researched facts makes for perfect easy-listening. Thank you both for hours of enjoyment.

9. Informative & Delightful - First of all - this pod has an impossibly cute theme song which always makes me smile. That aside, you can tell the hosts are excited about their topic and bring in equally excited guests to talk about the wonderful creatures we share the world with.
I’m an adult who listens, but I bet if you have children this would be an absolute hit. Now my wife will never know silence with the amount of animal facts I’ve learned!

10. So cute! - This episode is adorable and full of happiness. Sometimes these two lovely hosts cover animals I’ve never even heard of, but even the ones I’m familiar with, I always learn something. 3. Review - I have a lot of Sasquatch podcasts saved on my phone. There are or that are actually filled with encounters with interviews or short comments afterwards. The podcasts I am deleting are the ones with mindless talking and interviews with other hosts which I guess is done to add subscribers. You will not be deleted. Your podcast has a formula and I know what to expect. A warmup/update conversation, Kevin’s news, your comments, Bill’s encounter story of the week, your comments, then the fan mail with your thoughts and banter. I read one review that complained about your “blah, blah, blah” comments and banter. Actually, your’s is the only talking that I find amusing. Good show, guys. I feel like I know you guys. Looking forward to the next podcast.

1. Nerd it! - This is one of my favorite science podcasts out there (ok it is my favorite, but I really like learning about mushrooms). This one is top notch. I also listen to Allie Ward and Talk Nerdy To Me. Every time I listen I feel like my brain is exploding with so much information. It weaves organic chemistry, culture, botany, community, food, foraging, medicine, bioremediation, cultivation… all of this into the realm of fungi. I love this podcast. The host does a phenomenal job asking questions and you can tell he’s engaged and just as curious as the listener. He’s great. Thank you for all your hard work and getting really thoughtful and smart, so smart, guests. It’s been such a pleasure getting to listen to this gem of a podcast! My world is brighter because of it. Thank you

2. / Give this a listen! - Darren is a beautiful conversationalist who gracefully communicates with all guests no matter their background (forager to scientist to chef). I appreciate how his thoughtful questions facilitate a deeper understanding of the topics being discussed. This is a staple podcast in my life!!

3. Fungal hazards too - Great podcast: professional, entertaining, stimulating point of view. But try to cover hazards too! Like this: I brought home buckets of lovely humus-rich soil from the mountains to mulch garden trees. Little did I know I brought home Cytospora fungus which proceeded to kill lovely cottonwood trees. Please report the dangers of fungus as well.

4. Inspiring - Been listening for a months now, probably more like a year, enjoyed your YouTube channel before discovering the podcast. This past episode with Doug was so great! I want to read his book! Totally resonate with the reality you guys were discussing, the genuine excitement of people in the community, keep it going please

5. Open minds and deep conversation - Darren is a very sensitive conversationalist, and always goes deep on research before every interview. Shakti, his wife and creative partner here, finds a range of brilliant guests for the show. Mushroom lover or no, I think people can get a lot of nourishment from this podcast. It’s a rarity and a gem.

6. Mind blown - I have always been fascinated by fungi and herbs even when I was a little kid, this year I finally decided to explore this magical thing that I was always warned to stay away from -which is probably why I was so persistent- and I am very glad I found such a good recourse! (That’s you guys!! )
2021-03-09
7. Infectious Enthusiasm! - Darren has it all, so articulate, humorous, creative w/r/t all things fungi. Darren is energy, always positive, joyful and happy to be alive. This podcast not only educates on mycological subjects but also reminds me to stay stoked and keep seeking about the things that used to make me jump out of bed with excitement in the morning. Who doesn’t need more of that!?!

8. Well Done! - Wow. Mushrooms are so fascinating. And Welcome To Mushroom Hour is THE place to get right in there with any one of the expert interviews that are listed. Darren is smart and curious and able to angle his questions to get the most out of his guest. I will admit there is a lot to digest in these podcast. I find it helpful to have a piece of paper and pen handy to write down words and books mentioned and websites to explore later. These are extremely interesting discussions that take you all over the globe. Fungi are fundamental for life on earth and Darron’s foray deep into the minds of these experts for answers is much like the mushrooms themselves! Well done.

9. Thoughtful exploration of the natural world - I never know which angle of mycology I will explore with each new episode— and I’m never disappointed. Some episodes have brought me to tears, others into deep reflection. This podcast is very informative, but also thoughtful, and diverse. Highly recommended!

10. Mushroom Journey - It’s rare to come across a person so passionate and devoted to a subject now and days. The main reason I enjoy listening to these podcast is the pure passion that exudes on the mushroom topic. The host brings a lot of value and knowledge to this podcast and I guarantee you will not be bored.

1. Animal education at it’s FINEST! - Hi! My name is AJ. I discovered your podcast November of last year and ever since I’ve been binging your episodes while I’m at work driving. I love when either you, Chris or Angie asks a question to the other and I instantly say the answer but Chris/or Angie gets the question wrong. (Hint: I knew what the Haast Eagle and HellPigs were) It’s definitely a great feeling even though I know y’all are much smarter than me lol. Anyways, You two have rekindled my passion for animals and I will continue follow all the great work and success you’ve accomplished. Keep up the phenomenal work!

2. Pallas’ Cats! - I am lucky to volunteer at a local zoo that has two Pallas’ Cats. I first thought Olaf just had a bad attitude with whisker twitches, but the other one has the same level of grumpy. The zoo is also open in winter, so foofballs! They also tend to be more active when less people are in the zoo off season. I will go this weekend to watch them! Thanks for having this podcast. I really wanted to know why they twitch their whiskers when seeing a human. I adore these lovable curmudgeons! Animals after my own heart! I will be listening to your podcast from now on. Great introduction.

3. Life Changing and Inspiring - I have now been listening to this podcast for over years now and a review is long overdue. Some background, I began listening when I worked at a golf course observing red tailed hawks and coyotes and was in school for animal science. I started from episode and was hooked from then on. I then received my first hoofstock internship at the accredited facility I visited most as a kid, later hired, transferred departments, and am now a lead at . I can confidently say listening to Chris and Angie along the way has kept me motivated in more ways than I could imagine. They are so incredibly passionate about what they do, with a ton of experience behind them to share stories as they go. They clearly make this podcast for something bigger than themselves, to fight the good fight and raise awareness and amaze listeners with everything from history of the species to physiology and courtship. Both of them do such amazing and extensive research to ensure us listeners are getting to know everything we can about whatever species is in conversation. I’m hooked for every second of every episode. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who has an interest in animals, conservation, science, or even just some great conversation between two amazing people. And I thank YOU guys, Chris and Angie, for giving me something to look forward to all these years (and counting). And giving me a set of role models to look up to as I progress in my career. If I could rate this every star in space, I would. Some of my favorite episodes: • Bactrian Camel • African Elephant • Cheetah • Bonobos • American Alligator • Bull Sharks • Green Anaconda • Asian Elephants

4. Great Pod to Learn about Animals - I just started listening to this podcast and its great. The Salmon episode blew my socks off and I don’t particularly even care about salmon. If you want to learn about a specific animal, but are too lazy to look the information yourself, then this is a great pod to listen to.

5. Great Podcast! - As a senior biology major in undergrad, I am always looking for ways to engage with the material I have learned in class, in real life. How cool is it that I can follow along with this team of scientists that really go into the details that make each of these animals so unique?! This podcast brings me so much joy and it is so cool to show off what I’ve learned to my family and friends about these creatures! I hope they will continue to produce episodes for many years… at least until I finish all of my schooling!!

6. This is the best podcast ever! - I love your podcast absolutely the best podcast out there a lot more people should know about this. I think the next animal you should do is the northern haired-nosed wombat there is only left! You should get the book ALMOST GONE by Steve Jenkins it is the best! I keep surprising my mom and dad about cool animals. My favorite is the pangolins and pikas.

7. All Creatures - I love animals and am so glad I found this podcast! Chris and Angie are awesome and so genuinely enthusiastic. They make the science accessible and have so much interesting information on these amazing creatures. If I can suggest an animal, I would like for you to cover horseshoe crabs sometime please.

8. I love this podcast! - I am a biologist for the state of Georgia and self professed field guide geek and absolutely love this podcast. The hosts really give a detailed summary of their subject. It is the perfect podcast for my morning commute. I get a ton of useful information from this podcast and cannot wait to listen to all of them. Keep them coming.

9. Our planet. - This podcast is all about change for our world and our animals. Inspires me every time I listen to an episode! Both very knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do. By far my favorite podcast to listen to. Thank you guys and keep it up! I would really love to hear a wombat episode! Australian animals by far are my favorite.
2021-10-02
10. Fantastic and Informative! - I recently discovered this podcast and as a recent wildlife biology graduate it quickly became one of my favorites! Chris and Angie do an excellent job of putting conservation information out there in a fun and accessible way. I always find myself bringing up facts from the episodes to anyone who will listen and hopefully getting other people into conservation, and this podcast is a great place to start!
2021-09-11
11. Wonderful! - These podcasts are great for sleepless nights or (at least in my case) if your doing a mindless school assignment. I think a fun podcast could be the environment that humans created, mainly cities, showing it’s affect it has on animals, what animals thrive, and how animals physiology changes or how there behavior changes, I think that would be very interesting! Love y’all!

1. Wonderful Nature Podcast - Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed this podcast. I started listening a while ago to Bob and Bill and I was drawn to their fun and playful banter and the manner in which they presented the natural world. Rather than solely focusing on facts, they talked about nature in a personal and story-filled way that makes the listener connect on a deeper level. Their lighthearted discussions about related myths, historical practices, or personal stories touched on one’s connection with nature in a meaningful way and worked to inspire curiosity and a desire to create one’s own experiences in nature. I was quite saddened with the loss of Bill who had a great enthusiasm and passion for the natural world. Although his jovial banter with Bob is greatly missed, I am glad that the podcast continues. The new guest co-hosts are very knowledgeable and continue to make the subject matter entertaining. Thanks for making such a great nature podcast and for all the work that goes into it.

2. Ranger Kathy - I didn’t hit send when I wrote this after your last show .... sending now welcome back - great show - will check out the links .... ————————————————————- I am so sad and sorry for you and his family... I can not tell you how important these shows were / are to me , when I discovered your podcast while home during the pandemic. It literally was my only light. You both fed off each other with the back and forth laughs, facts and stories... I counted the days before each new episode. Listening with my coffee on Tuesday mornings wondering what would be the topic knowing I would hear your voices filled with love for each other and the Natural world - was so contagious. The show inspired me to not just go outside and stay awhile but to paint / write poems about nature - I never appreciated nature as much until you both taught me to really look and listen (Bob, I have a hard time with bird calls too, might take an online Cornell class) I will never forget how you both ‘saved’ me - I am not inclined to feel depressed but I felt lonely at times until you both came into my house here in NYC... during COvid confinement . I can never thank you enough and I really wished I wrote this before his passing like I always planned to do. Paying homage to him with the continuance of this show is the medicine WE all need - I am planning to use some of your episodes for educational programs. With condolences and love - your eternal FAN- Kathy

3. Needing Out on Nature - I’ve been exploring nature podcasts as we recently started our own, “Naturally Florida” and this podcast has been wonderful to listen to! I love the genuine nature and curiosity of Bob. He does an amazing job with his guests who are always super informative and relatable. We can never know everything about nature so I have enjoyed learning on my commutes thanks to Nature Guys. Keep it going!

4. Lover of Nature Lovers - I love this podcast. It is one of my favorites. It is always so informative and entertaining. So many great topics, too. Thanks for sharing your passion with us. It is greatly appreciated. If you ever want to do some ocean topics I know a few scientists who would be great. Laz - TheLivingSea.com

5. Young naturalist Charles van Rees - Very excited that you had Charles on the podcast!! I have been a friend of his for a few years, so perhaps a little bias. He has such a great way of engaging young naturalist and communicating his experience as an emerging scientist. Also a great story teller, get him to tell some of his amazing stories.

6. Beth and guys - Your podcast is having a huge effect on our three generation family group hunkered down on the shores of Lake Superior. We have an amazing amount of birds visiting feeders after following your suggestions. Your activities for kids help us “step outside and stay awhile”. Thanks we appreciate all your nature sharing.

7. A real treat! - Listening to Bob and Bill talking about their passions in/for nature has been a wonderful treat for me! I moved abroad from the US Midwest a few years ago and found this show during a moment of homesickness. The first episode I listened to was about the Robin; I chose it because we have different red-breasted buddies here and I missed my old friends. The episode was a balm for me! And I’ve loved the conversations ever since. Thank you Bill and Bob for sharing your knowledge and love of the natural world with us in this way- please keep doing what you’re doing!

8. My new favorite podcast - I just recently found Nature Guys and have been binging all their episodes! I love the balance of fun and learning they have in their episodes. They are both super knowledgeable and I’ve been learning a lot! Plus as a Midwest listener, their topics are perfect to help me learn more about my surroundings!
2019-10-18
9. Fantastic! - I LOVE this podcast! These two are funny, witty and very knowledgeable! They share just enough information to teach you about the subject, but not too much to where you’re overwhelmed and forgot the fun facts, or even better, the new term or word of the episode! I started listening a few months ago and enjoyed the episodes so much that I started from the beginning and am listening to them all! I definitely recommend giving them a listen if you’re even remotely interested in nature!

10. Wonderful motivator it get outside and stay awhile!!! - I love this podcast! I commute hours round trip every day for work and this podcast and a few birding podcast are my favorite things to listen to. I have almost completed all of them since it began. The Nature Guys covers a wide variety of nature topics and each episode is a new adventure filled with stories, facts and humor. So happy I found it and hope to visit Cincinnati Nature Center the next time I visit my daughter in Kentucky. I spread the word about your podcast all the time and if you still distribute business cards I will give those out too.

1. Solid: Informative & Entertaining - Definitely within my Top of Bigfoot related podcasts. I always enjoy the interaction and banter between Micah, Smokey, & Jeff, but I also love their approach to the topic of Bigfoot. I appreciate the scientific and grounded approach to the topic. Also the guests are definitely subject matter experts in the field as well. I always come away with new nuggets of knowledge.
I look forward to every episode that the crew puts out.

2. The BEST Podcast of the Sasquatch Phenomenon - I stumbled into “Sasquatch Tracks” after searching for a podcast on the subject & I could not be happier. I subscribed after listening to the first episode. I’ve since listened to other Sasquatch/Bigfoot podcasts since discovering “Sasquatch Tracks” have been disappointed that many quickly fall into the “woo” category, which I honestly find ridiculous. This podcast is grounded in science, logic, reason, and a healthy skepticism. The guests are amazing and thanks to the hosts, I’ve been inspired into my own research of local sightings, not to mention filling my bookshelf with the works of Krantz, Meldrum, Greene, Bryne, and Dehindhen, just to name a few. Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to more episodes in .

3. Awesomesquatch - I’ve been listening to this podcast for about a year now, my only complaint is that there are more that I haven’t heard at least two or three times. I live in northeastern Ohio, and the Appalachian border, and I really really appreciate the show. It’s intelligent, yet down home and fun. There’s enough science and fact to keep anybody happy. If you’re looking for sensationalism, you won’t find that here. It’s straightforward, andIntellectually enlightening.I try and donate whenever I can, but it makes it hard on a fixed budget. But I can’t express how thankful I am for the show. We live rural, and often we are alone here, and sometimes it feels like a friend stopped in to say hello when we listen.

4. Excellent podcast: Note on “noodling” - I find Appalachian Americans make the best podcasts & this one is excellent. Please have Marc Myrsell on the show again. Interviewing him should be a yearly tradition. I am a scientist & it is so refreshing to hear the facts laid out without the faux academic attitude that permeates media. Keep it up guys!!! Micah - let the other guys talk more.
FYI - noodling is the catching catfish or turtles bare handed. No self respecting trout would be caught in that manner.

5. Finally another great podcast!! - After sifting through so much garbage in the podcast world, it’s great to find this show, which approaches the subject with intelligence and doesn’t bring in a bunch of crackpots and wackos just to knock out another episode. This is one of the best podcasts out there! Hope other shows watch & learn from this. Only downside is at times Micah (host) can be a little full of himself, and detract from the guest as a result
2022-04-29
6. Good content - Nice to have a host who is intelligent and asks meaningful questions. There are too many podcasts about Bigfoot that let the guest go on and on and on about their encounters. Let’s be real most encounters last a minute ….maybe. If the story is stretched out an for an hour? Liar liar pants on fire. Just saying

7. This is THEE BF Podcast! - I have no clue how I’ve missed this show...I’m constantly looking for BF shows...ANYWAY...glad I found it. Hanks is engaging, the guests, so far, are interesting and the info is timely! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a nice long podcast...these are over an hour, which is ideal for me! DON’T blow it guys, by slowing down...we need WEEKLY shows...or monthly AT THE VERY LEAST! I guarantee people will tune out and look for something else, if the shows become too intermittent. Can’t wait to binge this weekend!!!!! And looking forward to new shows...PLEASE don’t have have any of the regulars on...no names, but YAWN! Good luck!!!

8. Wow! Ms. Montana blew me away! - I just listened to the interview with miss Montana, and I was blown away by her professionalism, her dedication to science, and her articulate communication of how to become a citizen scientist. I am inspired! This was the best podcast interview I have heard on the subject of collecting data about Sasquatch. Miss Montana should teach master classes! I know I would sign up!

9. One of the Best Podcasts on the Subject - Sasquatch Tracks has a great trio of guys putting it together. Very entertaining and informative. The scientific approach to sasquatch is a breath of fresh air to the topic. They’ve had some amazing guests so far, and I’m looking forward to who appears next and hopefully more frequent episodes.

10. Leon came off as full of himself know it all. - Really didn’t enjoy his many (too many) simplistic analogies - because were all a bunch of dummies I guess? I’m all for questioning the data and applying a scientific method. He obviously has a beef with Moneymaker and wants to completely destroy his reputation. By the way I don’t know Moneymaker and really don’t have a dog in the fight. I have no reason to doubt the story about the moose tracks . Leon apparently has it all figured out - we can just wait for him reveal the truth about this phenomenon to all the rest of us. I won’t hold my breath though. He mentioned critical thinking - well, Leon should give some critical thought to not being so obnoxious. Just my thought on how he came across.. Jim Myers, Peoria AZ

11. Excellent - Love the in-depth conversations and insights that you bring to the podcast world. The actual production is easy to hear and listen to. I like how you ask questions that most people haven’t asked yet. Please keep doing what you’re doing. I would hope that other podcasters on the subject would learn from your production and follow suit.

3. A field of wildflowers in your living room - This is an absolute gem of a podcast. I swear I can feel my blood pressure falling when I listen. The variety of locations is astounding, and each one gives such a sense of presence. I feel like I’m tip-toeing through an icy cave or laying on a blanket under the stars, surrounded by singing frogs. Put this on next time you take a bath, read, study, drive, sleep—seriously just about any time! I can’t wait to hear where this show goes next .

6. This is truly the BEST. Support this podcaster! - I am filled with appreciation this morning for this podcast and for those who support it. Artisan quality. Pure nature without commercial interruption. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. My environment is very noisy. Could not meditate without it. If the politicians put this much love and care into crafting our government it would be a very much better world indeed.

7. Great to fall asleep to - My neighbors above me like to really get it on. So I turn on this podcast and chill out. It’s pretty great and there’s a variety. I think the only one I didn’t like was some birds chirping cuz it spooked me but they’re all really great! Thank you for recording I appreciate it!

8. Just nature, no ”soothing music” added - In this time of stay-at-home orders, with the closure of trails, parks, & campgrounds to overnight use, plus travel restrictions, I’ve been unable to enjoy nature as usual. I live in a city, so these sounds are hard to find otherwise. This is a great podcast to return to nature while staying safe within the confines of your home. Thank you for these podcasts of just nature.
