On the night of May 10, 2007, three boys entered a cave in Mantawauk County, Tennessee. Only one made it out alive. The other two were found ten days later. They had been attacked by someone - or something. The investigation that followed revealed town secrets as old as the caves themselves and put a third teenage boy, James Fincher, on death row. This haunting narrative follows Julien Solas, an amateur writer and James' friend who’s been haunted by the events ever since. Now, with Fincher's...

1. So far so good - Not a bad podcast so far. I’ve only got a couple of issues. I am from Appalachia, and the way the main character says Appalachia is not how you would say it if you were from there. He also calls the words a forest. Nobody from Appalachia uses the word forest. I love hearing podcasts that represent my neck of the woods, but it would be great if some focus could be placed on actual dialect and how native Appalachian speak.

2. The podcast itself is good - But there are really long adds that made me want to set something on fire. Jk. And there is an entire episode made of a terrible song. Ahhhhhhhh!!! I had my hands in hot water doing dishes and I couldn’t make it stop fast enough. But the podcast itself is pretty good when you finally do get to it.

1. Long overdue listen - My boyfriend has been raving about TAZ since I've met him and I was always hesitant to listen. I wasn’t into D&D and it just didn’t seem like my cup of tea. After running out of episodes from my own podcasts, I decided to try TAZ. I have binged every episode/arc over the past two months and it has been WORTH IT. These guys are hilarious and know to keep someone entertained even if they aren’t into role playing games. The stories are well thought out and the characters are amazing. Even if D&D isn’t your thing, TRY THIS. Now one of my favorite podcasts!!!
2023-02-23
2. Not good. At all - Sorry but I tried to get into the voices but these guys can’t keep a string of thought longer than seconds without seguing somewhere else or being interrupted by each other. It reminds me of all the hours wasted back when I’d play P&P RPGs waiting to get to the meat of the game. People who really need to listen to themselves speak, I guess.
2023-02-19
3. Mostly good with some stumbles - The Balance campaign will always be iconic, and Amnesty is absolutely amazing. Graduation was fine, but was an example of a first time DM biting off more than he could chew. Ethersea honestly didn’t really grab me, although the mini-world building campaign they did using the quiet year was spectacular. Unfortunately, the current steeplechase lost me and I stopped listening. I’ll probably come back for the next campaign.
2023-02-03
4. Try Steeplechase - Solid plug for the new storyline, Steeplechase. Justin knocks it out of the park with the voices ( voices by episode ), and the camaraderie is clear to see. Getting to do an awesome RPG with you brothers is one thing, but getting to do it with your dad is a whole different level. Long time listener, long time fan, and if you’re on the fence, I’m here to say just give it a go. What’s the worse that could happen? You laugh a lot?
2023-02-03
5. TAZ IS THE BEST - I was hooked immediately when the show was still on the Balance arc. I binge listened to catch up so I could ball my eyes out at the finale on the parking lot of my work. Since then I’ve loved their family banter and amazing creative work. All arcs from balance, to ether sea have all been outstanding. I can’t wait to see where Steeplechase takes us.
2023-01-26
6. Awesome - It took me a while to listen (coming from MBMBAM) but once I did I was completely hooked. There are so many amazing arcs and the creativity of the stories is just incredible. All the characters are super easy to become attached to and I get so immersed even when I listen at work. Fantastic work as always from the McElroy’s and their amazing crew.
2023-01-18
7. THE THEME IS IMMACULATE - Y’all.. oh my god. I’ve been a listener since way back in the early MBMBAM days and TAZ has been such a joy but the theme for this season??? THE THEME SONG FOR STEEPLE CHASE IS SUCH A BOP. Whoever is creating these theme songs??? Is so incredibly talented and I hope you show them this.
2022-12-24
8. Perfect Entry-Level RP - These boys and their father have fabulous comedic and dramatic chemistry. Their attempts to play more tightened down, serious scenes or campaigns can feel tonally confusing at best, the light-hearted, goof filled majority of the programming is an absolute treasure for anyone turned off by more serious roleplay. Not to mention anyone who is new to D&D gets to learn the basics along with them during Balance! I'd have to say my favorite arcs / campaigns have been early Balance, Amnesty, Hootenanny, and Lords of Crunch. Steeplechase has been absolutely incredible so far! Justin has a distinct understanding of how to keep things dramatically engaging while still allowing for copious amounts of levity. Love these boys (and their progenitor). p.s. please no more guests

1. Some questions - Such an amazing podcast, it has me looking forward towards mondays. I was wondering if the actors/actresses have read the book this podcast is based off of? Which character do the actors feel they resonate the most with? What do the actors personally think of Calium and wether he is a (ethnically) good father/man? For the actress, Alyssa, playing Ella, how was it to voice the scene with david, what did she have to look for/practice to make it believable?
2023-03-20
2. / - I have never liked podcasts they never gave me the excitement of actually seeing what’s happening but when Alyssa said she had a podcast I needed to watch it. I finished the first episodes in one day and hated waiting for more this podcast keeps me motivated on doing stuff around the house and it’s just amazing overall
2023-03-13
3. It’s good - I’m a huge fan of the book series this is based on. It’s good but I wish they included the whole family. There’s supposed to be five brothers a set of twins and the oldest brother isn’t in podcast. You lose their story lines that are in the book which have some important details that are now gone. Also in the book Ella’s not a cam girl but I’m assuming they did that to make it more pg than the book. My only issue is there’s pretty big differences between this and the book but otherwise it’s good.
2023-03-06
4. Absolutely terrible - It’s pretty much just a sleazy story about girls with daddy issues. The one is a year old cam girl at the start which I would think is technically underage smut.
Whether or not it’s a fictional character that’s dipping into some crude territory People get off on anything anymore

5. Waited so long!!! - Waited months for this podcast to come out; the only other podcast I’ve ever been excited about or listen to regularly is Solomon Ray’s. Love Alyssa so much!! Congrats guys Update @ episode : I wish I could just binge the whole show; I hate having to wait a week for a new show!! It’s sooooo good!!!!!

6. I LOVE THIS - I’m currently listening to episode and I LOVE it. I just finished reading book yesterday and it was sooooo good!!! I can’t wait for more episodes of this already AMAZING audio drama. Just hearing this story come to life in a different way is so cool!!! Thanks for creating this project!

1. IT’s like listening to a GREAT MOVIE ! - What a FABULOUS Cast! As a bonafide Podcast Junkie, I can say that the first Episodes were AMAZING ! These Fiction Podcasts are my fave. It’s like listening to a GREAT Movie. Use Headphones if you can. Extra Fun to listen to as I live in “The Bridgewater Triangle”!!!! I’m looking forward to the next few Friday’s for the rest. UDATE: LOVED Jeremy & Ann ! GREAT CHARACTERS. Once AGAIN, Aaron has another hit podcast & Misha Collins was fabulous.

2. Worth Your Time - Horror fans know the struggle- the genre is a hit or miss in any format, but especially radio, where a tight script and good editing are all a story has to deliver scares and the desired spooky ambience. But this show delivers every time, with eerie suspense, delicious drama and plenty of laughs. Don’t miss out. It’s well written and it’s twists pack a punch, but above all else Bridgewater is so much fun to listen to. It deserves an outpouring of love from the internet horror community. Merch, please!
2023-03-21
3. Misha Collins is so good in this! - This is the first fictional audio play type podcast I’ve ever listened to so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I was impressed! Misha’s voice and talent is a perfect addition to an already intriguing story. The addition of Alan Tudyk and Tricia Helfer in season has been a fun listen as well!
2023-03-18
4. Amazing! - This is the first dramatic podcast I’ve ever listened to for more than one episode. The story immediately drew me in and I wanted to know more. The acting is brilliant, the voices give such a depth to the story creating an auditory picture. The cast is so strong from the leads of Misha Collins, Alan Tudyk, Hilarie Burton Morgan and Wil Wheaton to the additional voice characters it is award quality acting. As much as I want the answer to the Bridgewater mystery I don't want the series to end.
2023-02-28
5. What the “F”? - Great series, but seriously, are all the f-bombs really necessary? Expletives are fine to season the narrative, but come on, this shouldn’t be the Wolf of Wall Street. You guys are better writers than this. I would love to be able to recommend this series to others, but you’ve given me too many effin reasons to not do that.
2023-02-27
6. Love this show! - I'm always looking for something new to listen to and I sometimes get tired of the traditional podcasts. Bridgewater is a great show to listen to - I just wish there was more of it!!! The characters are great and the actors who play them are fantastic. I've been hunting around trying to find something similar to listen to while waiting for the next episode but haven't yet. I recommend this to everyone!!!
2023-02-27
7. Incredible acting! - I have never listened to a fiction podcast but decided to give it a try because it featured Misha Collins and was created by Aaron Mahnke. I was hooked after the first episode and binged the rest of the series! The acting is amazing and I can see the story being played out in my head. I can’t wait for more!
2023-02-12
8. The Best!! - This will hook you and will not let go! When you’re not listening, you’re thinking about it, and when you’re done binging you’ll go through withdrawal and pine for the rd season!! SO well written!! Wonderfully performed!! If there are Oscars for podcasts, this should be the top nominee!! I love this podcast!!

Comments
1. Amazing Content - This may seem presumptuous with only primary episodes and the patreon content, but after listening to each one twice, I can say that this show is not only entertaining, but a master class in storytelling and audio editing. The narrative is interesting and fun, and everyone’s investment and commitment level is so high that it drips with sincerity and quality.
2023-03-23
2. Incredible Storytelling - I have been a huge fan of Dimension for years. These four storytellers certainly do not disappoint. The chemistry between Brennan Lee Milligan, Erika Ishii, Aabria Iyengar, and Lou Wilson is off the charts. I am so happy that they are all sharing a platform to build a world that we can all enjoy. Brennan Lee Mulligan has honed his craft as a Game Master for years, and his ability to listen to the narrative beats while managing the creative chaos will always be a highlight for me. Erika Ishii throws herself into her character and her background in voice acting allows her really help a listener imagine the world. Her energy always moves the story forward. Aabria Iyengar is an accomplished Game Master in her own right, but her ability to play powerful characters rooted in vulnerability is something that really sets her apart in this space. Lou Wilson’s gregarious passion for the genre is infectious as always. He has the amazing ability to find a joke or a comedic beat, while always bringing it back to the story that they’re all creating together. Finally, the soundtrack for this podcast deserves a shoutout as well. It does an awesome job of setting the pace for the entire enterprise. This is a space for people who love great stories.

3. A Masterclass In World Building, Story Telling, and Character - Anyone who like TTRPG content, anyone who enjoys high fantasy, anyone who enjoys engaging fiction, anyone who has ever enjoyed telling a story by a fire, anyone who has fond memories of summers spent running through fields will enjoy this podcast. It has only just begun but it is destined to go down in history as one of the best audio experiences ever created. Even if you have never heard the names Brennan Lee Mulligan, Aabria Iyengar, Lou Wilson, or Erika Ishii (which if you haven’t there’s this wonderful little thing called Dropout where you can find hundreds of hours of content involving them, both TTRPG related and not) you will fall in love with their dynamic, their stories, and their characters. I highly suggest subscribing to the Patreon to listen to the Children’s Adventure. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more invested in the lives of fictional characters than I feel about Ame, Suvi, and Eursulon. This is the sound of Worlds Beyond Number.
2023-03-15
4. Immersive Storytelling - The sound design is truly immersive and the scoring is beautiful! I already feel like I live in this world. I want to live in this world and sit with these characters for days. This is only the kind of project that comes from a team that really loves and trusts each other. It’s incredibly clear. If anyone is on the fence about hopping on the Patreon, it’s incredibly worth it, just for the children’s adventure alone, but I know there will be even more incredible things to come. This is a game, sure. But it’s moreso a story told through improv with people who know each other’s creative minds intimately. I don’t think there’s anything as good as that out there. I’m so so excited to hear the adventure continue.
2023-03-14
5. Beautiful, hilarious, listen!! - I was so excited for this podcast to come out, my expectations were sky high. Sky. High. Four of my favorite role players/DMs telling long stories together?! Amazing. The only way they could live up to my high hopes would be if they literally spun gold. My friends, they spun platinum and sent it straight to my ears. I envy you if you haven’t yet listened, you have the joy of the first listen to look forward to. Also, join the Patreon and listen to the Children’s Adventure. The full episodes are already up. It’s heartwrenchingly heartwarmingly hilariously lovely.
2023-03-14
6. The creators will never see this but... - This is one of the most moving pieces of media I've ever consumed, and I mean that with my whole heart. These folks will forever outdo themselves with each project they make. As someone who struggles with graphophobia, it means just that much more when I say these people and this story inspires me to write my own. It is healing, it is bursting with life, it is beautiful beyond means: it is worlds beyond number!
2023-03-14
7. TTRPG storytelling MADE FOR AUDIO - As someone who has listened to hundreds of hours of TTRPG that was made for video, I now know what I was missing. The storytelling in this single episode is brilliant, but what makes this exceptional is the production, the soundtrack, and the thousand details that you can only hear. This recalls an era of broadcast storytelling on radio, and I encourage you all to gather round and immerse yourselves in the story.
2023-03-12
8. Aurally piercing my heart - What this group of people created is a wholly incredible podcast experience. They recommended using your best headphones to listen, and as someone who typically listens in car, this suggestion is correct. While my car is fine, the depth of audio engineering that goes into these episodes can be missed with out the full attention that headphones allow for. Best first episode of a podcast ever.

Comments
1. Not scary at all, and quickly grows repetitive - The show format, while interesting, does not lend itself well to a cohesive story. I listened well into season one and there was no actual plot other than a recurring glow cloud and the host’s crush. At a certain point, it got so boring I couldn’t continue listening. The only good aspect was the comedy. Most of the spook stories were funny rather than scary, which I would have enjoyed if it wasn’t so repetitive.
2023-02-23
2. Wonderfully weird - I finally finished binge listening and have really enjoyed it. It’s very creative, the characters are fun and the narrator has a great voice and way of acting. I love how unapologetically weird it is and how funny it can be at times. It took about a month of listening during work to get through it, I’m not sure what my favorite storyline is but it would probably involve Kevin. He was delightful. I don’t know how long they can keep making episodes but I’ll listen as long as they keep making them. Keep up the great work, guys. I just ordered all the WTN books. I’m looking forward to reading them. Oh, I have a hack for those complaining about the ads and weather. I found this hidden button you can tap that fast forwards through them if you don’t want to listen to that part. I also found another hack for those complaining about it being political. It’s called “getting over yourself, you’re not the main character of the universe; Cecil and Carlos are.” I hope that helps.
2023-02-23
3. All time favorite podcast - When I first started listening I referred to this as my “nonsense” show. Turns out it is nonsense, but also it isn’t? The main story line totally creeps in (in a good way!). Love the writing, love the delivery. It’s just good wholesome nonsense and I can’t get enough!

5. Amazing! - This podcast is amazing, though I noticed after I began to listen to it strange events began occurring in my town. I have always been a fan of wheat and wheat by-products, but recently there have been many reports of wheat and wheat by-product attacks. A strange man has been following me, though I am not sure is is a man or human at all. It whispers only one thing. “Thë dîßtæńt príñçê įš ćømīńg fór ÿõû”. Edit- It is here. I am hiding in my closet, praying that it- the thing- does not get me her

6. Amazing content- terrible listening experience - Please just go subscriber or at least have the option. The creativity is still there, Cecil is still amazing the writing is great and I understand everyone needs to get paid. I’d happily pay to get a significant amount of content because now the ad to content ratio in these episodes makes it hardly worth a listen. Once a truly great podcast, so bogged down with ads the it’s hard to get through…
2022-10-25
7. Comedy Ahead of Our Times - My -year-old introduced me to this. That alone gives me hope for the younger generation. Comedy is a necessity, and every era gets the comedy it needs. We need this all-American blend of Pythonesque absurdity, screaming eldritch horror, and satire so sharp it hardly hurts at all when it gouges your eyes out. If you're old enough, it will remind you of Firesign Theatre or “Bob” and the Cult of the Sub-Genius.

8. Love it but... - I love this podcast it is so interesting and is fun to listen to when I need a break from everything. But it's honestly disappointing the amount of ads there is only really mins of story telling with ads and "weather". I do understand why they need ads but it gets annoying all forced on you in the beginning. I know the creators have better things to do than look at my review but if you do happen to see this please consider moving half the ads to the end thank you goodbye.

Comments
1. Hit or Miss - The production value is as good as it can get for a show like this, but the quality of stories varies widely. Some are actually impressive, but others sound like a high schooler wrote them. A great number of them seem to stop mid-story with no climax at all, which is frustrating after you’ve just spent hours listening to them. If I understand correctly, they’re taken verbatim from posts on r/NoSleep, so I guess that explains it.
2023-03-17
2. The adult goosebumps!! - If you grew up reading goosebumps or watching the tv show or Disney's are you afraid of the dark, you will LOVE this podcast. All the stories are so entertaining some you will enjoy more than others, regardless they are wayyyy better than anything else out there. I LOVE Nicole Doolin’s voice, I wish she was on more, she always give me the goosebumps lol. Thank you NOSLEEP for my sleepless nights.
2023-03-13
3. - I’ve been listening for years and have listened to every season. Sometimes I want to rip my hair out because the themes seem to have no purpose (coughcoughlastseasoncoughcough) and sometimes the stories are poorly written both grammatically and stylistically. However, this season prompted me to write a review— it’s been great so far! I really appreciate the voice acted Poe readings and the stories have been more solid on average. You guys are doing great
2023-02-26
4. Long time listener, first time caller - Love the show! The voice acting is superb! I for one appreciate the commitment to featuring stories dealing with horror from all walks of life. Don’t listen to the anti-woke nonsense in these reviews. The stories are excellent! And I like the middle ad break to give listeners a chance to catch their breath! My favorite tales are supernatural/urban legend type stories, and the best of the best are ones that bring the listener into the conflict. ((I.e. “now that you’ve heard my story it’ll come for you too..” The only thing I’d give in criticism((and it’s a bit more personal preference than anything)) I don’t find the stories of being stuck at sea scary. Lately there are whole chunks of episodes where one if not more stories are about being stuck on a boat/on a ship/in the water etc.. now these stories are written well and acted well but it just doesn’t get my hair standing on end like other stories. Keep on frightening and disturbing!

5. The best horror podcast out there! - Seriously, this is one of, if not the best horror story podcasts out there. I’ve been listening since and while it’s taking me longer than I’d like to get through the entire catalogue ( I listen to too many podcasts at once and I rotate what I listen to), the quality of the show continues to get better and better. I’m fact, my only complaint about the quality is the fact that it’s been so good that it sets the bar a little high for other shows out there. But if anything, I’d say that’s a good problem to have. Even the stories I didn’t like (which hey, with a horror story podcast that tells several different stories, not every one of them will be one I jam with) we’re still told in an amazing way. The only thing I’m not looking forward to with this podcast is catching up to the current episodes and having to wait for new ones to come out. You guys keep up the good work! Also, just going to throw this out there in case the No Sleep folks read this review: Would you guys do a collab with Dead By Daylight? I think it’d be cool playing as one of the voice actors, or even Cummings as well as maybe one of the more prolific monsters from the tales they’ve told.

6. LOVE - I found this podcast over a year ago and absolutely fell in love. Realized I had been listening to the two newest seasons so went all the way back to season and started from there. I listen every single day at work and finish about two episodes a day. I will be sad once I’m caught up and waiting for new episodes and would love to see one of their live shows.

7. Pretty much the pedestal of all short stories podcasts - Been listening to this podcast for a little over a year. I’ve given many others in the same genre a try and I can’t bring myself to follow those. In short, NoSleep’s worst stories are still very good. The best stories are phenomenal and in a class by themselves.
2022-10-17
8. Best Sound Design and Most Immersive - I’ve listened to all episodes of NoSleep and four different horror podcasts, along with some episodes from several other horror podcasts. What’s easily found is that NoSleep is by far the best at making no mistakes, sound design, and quality of content! These attributes contribute to what I believe to be the best and most immersive horror podcast out there! One thing I wish for? A new episode every . days instead of once a week would be awesome!

1. Awesome podcast!! - Accidentally found the show while searching for scary pods. I love love love it!!! Great story teller and I like how he adds all the sounds and creepy music on some of the stories. You’ve got a fan for life brother!! Oh and btw I have an absolute favorite sound and that’s whenever any of the males cry in the stories, I start rolling when one of his male characters start crying not because of any of the awful stuff happening to them but because the crying is just hilarious it’s GREAT!!!Keep ‘em coming!!!!!!!

2. First choice any day! - I love horror but most of these channels produce more comical stories with a vague “horror” theme. But Dr. NoSleep? AMAZING!!! Virtually all of his stories/episodes give me the creeps and leave me begging for more! Thank you Dr NoSleep, you’re easily my top choice for scary stories!

3. Hey I’m a kid. LOL friend me on Minecraft - Hey I listened to this and it was good until I listened to the one that was like “full of malice” or something like that it was good but so disturbing and so many curses like what also drugs and violence is not very kid appropriate it was so sad a rabbit got it’s head ripped of BTW friend me on Minecraft @SquareMist for Java edition SquareMist for bedrock edition

4. Love love love this creepy podcast! - I love listening to podcasts while I do my mundane work or even while working around the house. I found Dr. nosleep while browsing for something new to listen to. Some days murder mysteries don’t cut it. I don’t know what it is about his voice but it just draws you in. I’ve been Hooked ever since! His stories are just the right amount of creepy suspense and horror! I love it!

1. Constant Yelling - I have finished the first episodes of season , and to be honest, I don’t know if I can keep going. I always try to give a podcast a chance, unless it’s absolutely horrible, but this one is bordering on it. The cast seems like they need to have constant conflict and fighting with each other in order to move the plot along. Some of the dialog seems childish and the story development so far, seems weak. Example: a cell phone missing so there’s an assumption among the lead characters that ) the cell isn’t important so let it go ) the cell got taken by a dove, yes a dove ) the cell was taken by a ghost. This causes a lot of yelling between the characters and it just goes on and on for an unnecessary amount of time.

2. Very solid - Another podcast that thinks all its listeners are from LA so they talk about pronouns and being non binary way too much, but glad I stuck it out cuz it’s getting good! Lily’s character can be quite annoying, Altho I think that’s the point. Also so so so odd to talk about working on occupied land. Maybe the most bizarre stuff I’ve ever heard on a podcast. Update-of course Abby is now trans instead of non-binary
2023-03-09
3. Love this podcast but… - I absolutely love this podcast. I feel like I’m a part of this little family every time I listen and I’m stoked for season . I’m gonna be completely honest though Abby as a character has zero redeeming qualities and I find that I roll my eyes every time they speak. They are rude to everyone and truly are such a bummer to the story. I really think there needs to be some sort of revision on how they respond and their dialogue with others. At this point they aren’t adding anything to the story for me and are almost ruining some parts of the story. Everything else is just perfect. The story is riveting and has my attention the entire time. Always. Keep up the good work!
2023-03-02
4. My favorite podcast - I’ve listened to quite a few podcasts- drama, sci-fi, fantasy, etc. This is my favorite. The characters are lovable, the acting is head and shoulders above most, and THERE ABSOLUTELY IS A MYSTERY. And a good one! There is a one character w/ they/them pronouns, and one or two gay couples in this whole town? I don’t think that qualifies as “woke” lol. It is a slow burn, but if you like ghost stories, powerful female leads, supernatural elements and/ or mysteries… you’ll like it. By ep things pick up!

5. Exactly what i have been looking for - This podcast is great! It is a great story that keeps me involved. It is produced well. The characters are developed well and have good depth. This is what I have been looking for in a modern fictional podcast. It is reminiscent of classic radio shows but is modern enough to make it interesting. Everyone doing this is doing a great job!!
2023-02-11
6. Super cool! - I’ve been listening to this podcast since season two came out and have followed it ever since! I love the way suspense has been building through out each season and just know the ending will be jaw dropping. The characters are awesome with complex backgrounds and personalities. It’s very easy to love, hate, and relate to any of them! I have never listened to or read a story like this before. It takes a unique approach to the gothic genre. Definitely worth the listen!
2023-01-26
7. Cute but, drowning in virtue signaling - I wanted to love this plot, but the political/ideological insertions are a bit overdone. If you can ignore that, some endearing characters and very well paced. Great audio production. However really, the Abbie character is dreadful. Made it to season , not sure I will finish.
2022-09-30
8. A quirky good time - When I first started listening I was skeptical but needed a new scripted, fiction pod and this one really grew on me. A lot of the fiction shows have mediocre to bad actors but not Unwell. Truly solid acting, a unique premise, folksy, funny, and at times a touch spooky. Now, for me, the writing went a little off the rails in season three and some episodes were disjointed but it tightened back up for season four. I’m a fan.
2022-09-14
9. Slow to start, catching its legs - So I’m only on episode seven. Episode two titled the diner I thought was fantastic and very eerie but started getting slow again after that. The astronomer appears in episode six and he is by far my favorite character in this podcast is starting to definitely get its legs. Can’t wait to see what else is in store will update further after finishing season one. / s so far EDIT: I just can’t get into season whatsoever. It feels like the story is moving at a snails pace and nothing is connected anymore. Was once one of my favorite podcasts but it’s now losing its luster for me, and it really bums me out.

1. Elizabeth is amazing - I just found this podcast and wow. I love Elizabeth’s voice, it’s so soothing. I discovered this podcast just as Elizabeth was beginning To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolfe. If best sleepy podcast season was a thing, Elizabeth reading To the Lighthouse would wink hands down. What the perfect combo. I can’t wait to listen her other tellings. If you need help falling asleep, Elizabeth is the reader for you.
2023-03-24
2. It Works!! - This podcast is one of that I use for sleep!! The parts are in order (no searching or guessing/waiting long periods for the next part) and Elizabeth always gives a thorough summary of the previous episode before the beginning of the next part. Her voice is so soothing and it genuinely helps me get a full nights sleep. It helps my brain shut up which can be hard to do with ADHD.
2023-03-20
3. Soothing Bedtime Stories - So far I’ve very much enjoyed The Wizard of Oz and Winnie the Pooh series. The host’s voice is not only soothing and comforting, but her character voices really make me smile. She brings the characters to life in a way that has inspired me to actually buy the novels she’s adapted for the podcast! While I’m very much entertained, I also haven’t yet been able to complete an episode without falling asleep at some point. I do love the concept of the show, but would appreciate more fairytales or stories that lend themselves to a soothing and vivid dream-like state. I’d love to listen to the Chronicles of Narnia, for example. I’m not sure I’ll listen to every series as some stories don’t strike me as bedtime appropriate. Still, what I’ve listened to so far has been immensely enjoyable, so I’m giving it / stars and hope it will improve upon the type of stories.

4. Looking for ways to relax… You just found it! - I don’t actually use this podcast for falling asleep to. I use it when I’m working. If you love, classical literature, you’re gonna love this podcast! Elizabeth’s voice is very soothing, the relaxation exercises have been so helpful for me, and the music is fantastic. Thanks Elizabeth and team.
2023-03-02
5. Hard to Understand - I enjoyed listening to many books Elizabeth has done, and her voice is very soothing. However, I am finding it very difficult to understand her whilst she is reading To the Lighthouse. Her accent is very strong and she does not annunciate clearly. It’s as if she gave up trying to speak clearly that would benefit non-British English speakers. I have tried and tried to listen, but it’s too much of a strain to understand her, so I have given up. It’s too bad because hers was the best podcast to use as a sleep aid.
2023-02-23
6. Too many Premium episodes - Not everyone can afford premium. I used to love your channel. Update: I’m not sure if To the Lighthouse was a good idea. From what I’ve been hearing it’s depressing and the dad is a straight up tyrant. My anxiety disorder kicks in pretty fast with this book you’re reading. It puts me on edge with my insomnia and PTSD as well. Shame. I was looking forward to it.

7. Fantastic - please do all Anne of Green Gables series!! - My favorite podcast to fall asleep to - please do the entire Anne of Green Gables series, they’re my favorite! The jane eyre book was surprisingly creepy and I ended up not finishing listening to all of it, just because I like more wholesome positive vibes for going to sleep - as my dreams get quite imaginative. Thanks for such an amazing podcast!

8. READ ALL OF THIS! - Now if any body who writes reviews reads others, I would just like to say, I agree with everything that Nothing But Ashes said. I love Anne If Green Gables but the part in the wood was kind of creepy. I also LOVED The Wind In The Willows book. New favorite book because of this podcast! This podcast is amazing there is hardly any adds in the beginning of the episode and then Elizabeth gives a breathing exercise! Then she gives a recap and starts the story. It is the best sleep podcast I have ever listened to! I fall asleep in five minutes! I love being able to fall asleep so easily! I love the sound of Elizabeth’s voice it is so amazing my sister doesn’t get scared if it! She gets scared of a quite a few voices on podcasts! You are the only sleep show I can fall asleep to and trust me I have tried a lot of sleep podcasts. I am years old and I don’t take naps, but this would make me fall asleep to a nap if I wanted it to! I have tried a bunch of podcasts but they are all to scary this is the top podcast! I love this more than any other sleep podcast ever!!! Elizabeth’s voice is so calming I think it is the perfect pitch for sleep! I was thrilled when I found out she was my favorite voice from Get Sleepy! Elizabeth was the only voice I could listen to to fall asleep! Elizabeth your voice is magic! I can’t fall asleep with out listening to your podcast now! Now I need to fall asleep…sweet dreams goodnight! (P.S I highly recommend this podcast it is amazing! ) ( P.P.S I have a hard time with sleep podcasts they have to not be to boring or to interesting! This one is just right! I have never finished an episode! That is no lie!! ) (P.P.P.S, to all of you complaining about having to pay for a subscription, the main stories you don’t have to pay for, and they are amazing I might add. So stop complaining about what you don’t have and focus on what you actually can listen to!!!!)Your huge and now sleepy fan,Sophia

9. Anne of Green Gables - I love the Sleepy Bookshelf! I absolutely adore her reading of Anne of Green Gables! She read it better than anyone could. And Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was beautifully done, thank you Elizabeth! One thing I will say…I never listen to books I haven’t already read and know. In the beginning of every new book she reads, she always says she removes any scary parts but keeps all the words, protagonists and antagonists. But I know these books well—she hasn’t removed anything, and there are parts that can be startling when listening to at night. The only one that comes to mind that really startled me (I’m ashamed to say because I’ve read and know the book like the back of my hand) was when Anne went through the Haunted Wood in Anne of Green Gables. Perhaps Elizabeth could live up to her word a little more in that area. But other than that, three cheers for Elizabeth! And I love your accent—I want to do a podcast just like you, but my American voice seems plain in comparison.

1. A gem - I’ll admit the first story I heard over a year ago didn’t catch my attention and had me skip over episodes of this podcast & stick with The Deck & Crime Junkie - also by Ashley flowers. I had caught up on all of my podcasts episodes and just played one of these while cleaning / organizing so that i can keep busy ..needless to say I just kept listening back to back. I was hooked ! I washed dishes, went on a drive, walked my dog and just kept it going! Each story hooked me in differently. I love the descriptiveness, the setting of the mood with background music, tone etc. Love full body chills !!!!!!

2. Praise and Questions LOL - First, I want to say these stories are awesome! They give me FULL BODY CHILLS!!!! Keep up the great work to the production team and the story tellers, and writers and to the creators, just everyone, and the Host! Truly awesome and amazing! Have y’all thought about trying to crossover an episode or collaborate with the some at another network, Bloody Disgusting Network, SCP Archives, these stories could become something even more like a special or something just in general. Apologize for any misspellings or punctuations, not my strong suit hahahahaha. Love the podcast!!!

3. So Talented - Ashley Flowers is so talented and versatile. The first podcast of hers that I’d ever listened to was Crime Junkie, which probably has the biggest true crime cult following. Then, I came across this show, and I was blown away at how effortlessly she’d transitioned into fiction. She is a natural narrator and has the ability to make anything a binge-worthy listening experience. The story quality is an added bonus! I’m always sad when I’ve run out of episodes of this podcast to listen to.
2023-01-23
4. Literally chills! - I love love this podcast, I love Ashley ! She needs to make more! When she tells the stories I get “full body chills” and I’m always looking over my shoulder, and when headphones are on … forget it! I’m pooping my pants at that point! That’s how good this podcast is. Keep it up! I look forward to more! :)

5. Best creepy, ghost stories!! - I live for spooky season. This podcast delivers a kind of creepy that keeps you wanting more. The voice overs and sound effects are the best yet and truly enhance the story. I loved that the latest season included spooky Christmas stories!! Something to tide you over until the next spooky season…
2023-01-12
6. Five Stars - This podcast is amazing. My only complaint is I can’t get enough of it!! I wish I could listen to a new episode every week. The stories have such a fun, dark twist to them. Very enjoyable to listen to, especially with headphones. The stories keep me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what’s going to happen next! The people who are telling the stories really make you believe them. Five stars all around!
2023-01-05
7. Good last three seasons, but... in - This year has been a let down, I did send in a story myself, but I still find this season not so scary. I want to feel chills run down my spine when I listen to scary stories. I loved the first three seasons, as they gave me CHILLS, I’m sorry to anyone who is not happy with the negative feedback. But, it is better to tell the truth with feedback and hopefully the stories are a little scarier this year, or next year. I love the hosts and I don’t want to seem like a rude, snooty person. I just was a little let down this year.
2023-01-02
8. Christmas version…. - Nope. Couldn’t handle it. It was SO depressing. The first episode that I listened to, was I think, the last in season . It was about a little girl dying. I am a mother, of a year old girl. There should have been some form of “trigger warning” on this. I may be over reacting but this is Christmas time. A time of year that for most is very special, but for some tragic. And because it’s just a delicate time of year, I really just found season (their Christmas episodes) to be extremely heartbreaking. ESPECIALLY when a young child dies. A mothers worst nightmare. But stars to their original Halloween FBC. Big fan. Just, not around Christmas. It’s too… idk, it’s just too much.
2022-12-30
9. Ollie and the Outcasts - I’ve fallen dreadfully behind in my podcasts. So I decided just to choose one by the title—Ollie and the Outcasts! Splendid! Ashley’s storytelling never disappoints. And, I marveled at the brilliance of the writer. When the story was over…..of course it was written by David Flowers! Thank you both again for a stunningly sumptuous tale!!!

2. I love this podcast so much! - This is a amazing podcast! You are so amazing and the voice actors, I love their voices! When I first started,I thought that this was just a annoying podcast, but it was really cool! But there is too much music and almost no talking. But it’s really good and I hope you make more episodes! this is a amazing podcast, so good! you will make a amazing podcast!! I love it how you guys work together and make a good team! As they say, Teamwork makes dreamwork! amazing! Love u guys!

3. My all time favorite podcast - Unanswerable podcast question: if the island is in the Atlantic Ocean, how do the bots get back and forth to Juneau so quickly? Are the hover boards superhero speeds? GZM creators and writers make great shows and this is the best. The storyline is full of suspense and twists and remains intriguing/compelling on multiple listens. SM has something for everyone—kids and adults. And yes Chris Tarry, the sound design is awesome and there are at least four people who like the sound design discussions! PEACE, LOVE AND OBOES!

4. Mailbag! - Hey! I have two mailbag questions. First, is the person who played Brinleigh mom Callie in Iowa Chapman? It sounds like the same person. Second, is the recording where Cyrus said “No matter what happens between the two of us, Brinleigh should always feel like she has a safe place at Holiday Corp.” the thing that he “sent her in case something went wrong” in episode one? Thank you so much!

5. Six Minutes is SO GOOD YOU GUYS OMG - Hey GZM! I’m writing from the unanswerable Apple Podcasts for a couple reasons. First, easily the best podcast ever. Some great themes about found family and teamwork. Second, how long will Out of Time be? Will it be around the same length as the earlier seasons? Cool if you answered on Rewind. Lastly, please please please make Six Minutes a TV show! There are so many great things about it that would be so incredibly cinematic. By the way, if you do, I want in, preferably playing Cyrus or Badger. Thanks gang! (Im .)

6. This is the best podcast I’ve ever listened to - Well, I haven’t listened to that many podcasts but still if I did this would be my favorite. I haven’t subscribed to wonder plus kids so the first episode was just released for me. I immediately watched it and I’m so sad I have to wait for the next one to come out. I would definitely recommend this to mystery lovers!! Cant wait to find out what happens in season three!

7. Listen now!!! - Amazing great sound design storytelling but be ready for cliffhangers!! Amazing the story keeps you busy and the perfect time just six Minutes! Ok edited great cook but! They told us six minutes out of time march . Now there telling us if you want it you hav two pay?! And if you what it free wait till march ? It dosent make sense they got us all hyped up for nothing . Kinda disappointed GZM

8. Love Six Minutes! - Six Minutes: Six Minutes is just INCREDIBLE. Like, woah! My favorite character is either Brynleigh or Casey. Brynleigh and Cyrus are so chaotic and funny together, it makes me laugh. They remind me of a couple from my favorite TV Show, “Perfect Strangers”. Remy’s Life Interrupted: This show is AMAZING. I have been with Gen-Z and Remy the whole way! Now, I know it’s not real, but it doesn’t bother me. Nothing Gen-Z makes is real. But I like to imagine in my head that it’s real. It makes it more fun and exciting. Like, what is the other me like on the other side of the Whittier Gate? Or me on the other side of the Rem Gate? Btw, thanks for the shoutout, Remy! I am inspired by Lin-Manuel Miranda! I’m glad you could shout him out. Peace, Love and Oboes, everyone! (And Hamilton!) -Carol Marvellette

1. Ignore the reviewers complainiing about their 'woke' nonsense. - How this podcast doesn't have tons more subscribers is beyond me. Absolutely, hands-down, the best storytellers I have ever heard. An absolute masterpiece . Some 'men' apparently can't handle anyone else having any kind of power or being heroes.

2. Great Horror podcast with Great Famil - So the storytelling in this podcast? Second to none. The best. Steve is a fantastic narrator and Cam is a wonderful writer of the unknown horror and of family bonds. This podcast as about as mean heartwarming scenes as they do chilling scenes. And coming from the patreon feed, the patreon exclusives are absolutely worth a listen, guys.

3. Sets the Standard for Narrative Podcasts - I was hooked from episode one, season one and it has only improved with every subsequent episode. It sets a high standard for the genre and consistently exceeds its own very high bar. The representation is brave, needed, and deeply appreciated. Thanks for all you do, family.

4. More woke junk. - Deeply, DEEPLY disappointed that yet again a good podcast started going woke. The story teller is truly superior. The story is complex, not overly complex but in the way that makes you pay attention. But the woke-ness.... One again the woke claims another scalp of a great pod cast. The villains- ALL white men. As matter of fact there as very few decent white men at all. Any person who is worthy of holding the hero mantle will be a a woman, or person of color. Episode as much as says if bad things happen in the world they happen to women, people of color or anyone who is not hetro. The simple math of that is, white men are the oppressors and everyone else is the oppressed. More woke trash. It really is a shame this podcast had the makings of being one of the best out there.

5. Nostalgic Voices, Dialects, Music, and Storytelling - I have missed this accent. I can hear my grandparents and great-grandparents in it. The narration is exactly how I’d remember stories being told around the table at night. The stories themselves are just like my mother used to tell when I was growing up. They’re eerie, they’re dark, and there’s something alive behind the story. It has a life of its own, like folklore. It seeps into your skin and bones to have a chat with memories you’d forgotten about. This is an excellent podcast that reminds me of my childhood in the country in the best possible way, and I can’t commend it enough.

6. Incredible storytelling - The lord and character development are top notch. It manages to be horror that is more supernatural than jump-scare-y, which is more my jam. Also, there is complexity and nuance of characters and their situations, which makes them relatable even if their timelines (or powers) aren’t.

7. I am addicted to this excellent storytelling - After finishing The Magnus Archives I despaired of finding another horror podcast as immersive, creative and compelling. Well, I finally found it in Old Gods of Appalachia. This is storytelling at it's absolute finest. I find myself making excuses to go driving in the car or do housework so I slip on three next episode. Download it now!

8. Feels Like Home - Although I was born and raised east of the Appalachia mountains in Virginia by parents not of Appalachia, this show strikes a chord somewhere deep in my bones, resonates in my soul, and feels like coming home. This was my second listen through of Season One and part of Season Two and first listen through of the rest of Season Two and what has been released of Season Three. Season Two wasn’t complete my first listen through and I didn’t listen to all of what had been released of Season Two at the time because I didn’t want it to be over. I am so grateful and happy that I came back and took another listen and am now current. Thank y’all so much for keeping me company and being part of my chosen family.

9. Could’ve Been Good, But… - Virtual Signaling meets the Unbeatable Mary Sues that are the Walker Sisters. Even though these things are imaginably ancient and powerful they’re no match for some mortal women, because WOMYN POWAH! No Walker woman could ever been defeated because they’re so much more intelligent and powerful and wise and wonderful and blah blah blah blah blah. Creepy Pasta nonsense written by people with the writing talent of the average middle school child.

1. vampires!! - after hearing the trailer on a different podcast I came here hoping for an exciting wlw vampire drama. so far they’re leaning toward a different direction but overall still well written. love the fiction aspect of QCODES podcasts. they’re exactly as advertised, immersive. only complaint i have is that nancy is sorta lame. her character was written so inconsistent, it’s frustrating. i can’t tell if she’s just supposed to have a inconsistent personality or if it’s a mistake in her character

2. Really enjoying this! - I was up in the air about whether this would be for me. And I’m really enjoying it. What a fresh take on a female vampire and her techie familiar. This would make such a good streaming series. Wonderful acting, writing, and sound design. Even prompted me to try out a QCode Subscription. Great job!

3. Vampires In The Dark - I love the vampire genre. (Movies, television, books, you name it. ) But this is the first time I’ve been able to close my eyes and listen to a vampire tale play out in the dark. (It’s a different than an audio book—a better experience) The story is amazing. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

1. Disappointing - Interesting premise and a promising world ruined by how dull and flat the characters are, particularly Sal (who is the introductory character and audience surrogate of newcomer having everything explained to them). Anything that’s engaging is so despite them, but eventually it just becomes unbearably tedious.

2. All over the map in record time. - In about minutes I am done. People I don’t know, have no relatioship to explode into unexplained action and I don’t care. It’s not a drama, but is read by one person. Sort of like being blasted with random people and actions. Introduce people. Who they are what they do and think. In minutes I have met as many people and have the front door blown in and wake up in the hospital.
2023-03-22
3. One-voice narration? - I’m minutes in, and am already disappointed. The voice actor is fine, but that noun should be plural. It’s disappointing that Realm didn’t get multiple actors for multiple characters, as they do for other podcasts; otherwise this is an audiobook. Also, it’s heavily influenced/almost like the graphic novel, “Black Magick” by Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott.
2023-03-20
4. Eyes rolling - Can’t handle how they finish every single sentence with he said, she said, sal said, menchu said, apple said banana said. Ugh. If your going to change your voice for each character, you really don’t need to end every word sentence with “said”. I had to stop at the end of the third episode.

5. Wrong Format, Good Story - Just like movies get adapted from books, the producers failed to do that for podcast format. This is an audiobook, leave it at that. If you are moving it to podcast format then you should have hired voice talent to adapt from the audiobook. This is just someone reading a book to you. Disappointing because as a podcast it could have been so cool!

6. Bookburners - Ok so..Bookburners review..here goes. Bookburners is not an audio drama. I mention this only to inform curious future listeners. My rating has nothing to do with that. I have no problem with audio books which is what this is. I like audiobooks a lot actually. My issue with Bookburners is that the story ends up being so dull. It’s a shame because the story does have potential but the characters in Bookburners are without question one hundred percent DULL!! Flat, lame..just bleh. I space out constantly while listening to Bookburners getting pulled back into the story ever ONCE IN A WHILE when they start doing something interesting. And I’m sorry maybe it’s just me but every single demon they fight feels just like the last one. Yawn. Really though it’s the characters in this story that make it all so boring. It IS great for putting me to sleep tho! I value that.

1. Okay - An okay but slightly confusing plot. It kept me interested enough to listen to the end. The performances were adequate and not distracting. I also appreciated the quality of the production value. However, I found the majority of the main characters to be generally unlikeable. The students and the twin sister were overall selfish, disrespectful, naïve, and recklessly foolish, to the point that, in the end, (spoiler alert) I did not care that none of them made it out of the pyramid. I liked that the twin brother made it out, as he was the only one who was the least bit kind or with any kind sense. Overall I felt a little let down, as there weren’t any characters I felt compelled to root for. Most were typical irreverent, arrogant college students.

2. Black Egyptians - I really like this story the actors were really good and the production was solid. I just find it fascinating that everyone that tells the stories of the Egyptians are like Arabic or Middle Eastern when the Egyptian’s were“black“ even though they did not view themselves as black they were what we were called today “Black people.” Folks forget that Egypt is in Africa, the people you see there now are migrants, who eventually moved overtime.

3. Sure gnore the red flags - To story writers: Over curious, naive nerd, inebriated idiot, clueless bimbo, a tag along, and a scaredy ca no one listens to. Every point for creativity. Did she just say, “I’m sure the light will work better once we are inside the pitch black tomb.” Hey and maybe water gets easier to breath the deeper you dive. What, will the couple split off to make-out and then the others split-up to search for their obviously dead body parts because you know, then they’ll get some great pictures of the killer. Or will they dare each other to offer their blood to summon a murderous ancient ghoul to see if it’s real or not. Predictable, predictable. Can we not rely on outright stupid characters who are then surprised when something bad happens to them so plot twist are possible. I hope this gets better because I like it’s premise. It’s just we live in a culture that has a term called red flags meaning: clues and signs of something being wrong with a situation; back out while your ahead. So for me this doesn’t entice my suspension of disbelief, the way they make so many of the lamest excuses to get themselves arrested in a conservative county.

1. Good, Not Great - The stories are mostly decent and sometimes have good twists, and the narration is serviceable without being hokey or cheesy. However, much like with the actual Creepypasta repository of written stories, the quality of the writing often leaves much to be desired. It’s painfully obvious that the stories featured both on Creepypasta and on this podcast are typically first drafts posted by amateur authors who never bothered to go back and tighten things up or let an editor look them over. Which is fine, I get that this is a free podcast and I’m not expecting Stephen King levels of quality, but it can be distracting when all I wanna do is kick back and become immersed in some spooky atmosphere. Still, if you enjoy Creepypasta, I’m sure you’ll also enjoy this podcast. Just set your expectations accordingly.

2. Love the podcast, be weary of other podcast recommendations - Podcast is great, but I’ve tuned i t a couple podcast he has recommended.. and one recommendation almost made me want to stop listening to this podcast.. He recommended a “true crime” podcast called heads of Sierra Blanca.. he even stated it was true crime… but it was all entirely fiction.. and I’m not a fan of being lied to, and the fact he promoted it as true crime really irked me.. Won’t be following any more of his recommendations afterwards that

3. I can’t stop listening! - I literally listen to this podcast daily, at work… in the car, at home, in bed as I’m falling asleep. The variety of stories and voice actors is absolutely phenomenal. Not to mention there are HUNDREDS OF STORIES!! I have binged all my other favorites like Dr. No Sleep and Something Scary, but when I started on Creepy almost a year ago and like I said I listen daily… I’m still not even close to being finished! This gives me something to look forward to and relax to. Thank you to everyone at Creepy for making such an awesome show, stay golden!

4. My Favorite Podcast - I listen to this while I work, clean, draw, fall asleep, etc. I cannot emphasize how much I love this podcast enough! I do want to recommend the story Homicidal Liu by Vampire on Deviant Art, it’s a really good story and I think I’d be really cool hearing you guys read it. Once again tho, best podcast ever:)

5. This might be what you are looking for - An earnest, well curated and acted scary/weird/gonzo story podcast that has outgrown its “creepypasta” into a mature. fiction showcase. A variety of stories styles that are more hit than miss, and rarely pretentious even when occasionally overly ambitious. I still feel grateful I found this show on a cold dark lonely night years ago. It is a good listen by the fire. The host/creator is very likable.

6. Ugh… skipping any Cole Burkhardt narrations now - I tried. I really tried but I just cannot listen to her anymore. I hate missing out on stories especially if it’s really good, but that should tell you what I’m willing to sacrifice to not listen to her voice anymore. Just cannot tolerate it further!

7. Fun podcast! - Really enjoying the pod, just one suggestion: it would really be helpful to the listener to put some sort of sound effect or music at the end of the story / beginning of the ad break. From our perspective we don’t know when the story ends, and especially in this genre a lot of stories have abrupt or mysterious “….” Type endings and it’s definitely not obvious when it’s over, especially since the ads have such a conversational tone. The first few episodes I listened to I had to go back and try to figure out what happened. Really enjoying listening, thanks for making it! :)

8. The original narrator is the best one.. - Leave politics out of this. I keep wanting to be a patreon but then a story has an ACAB agenda, or racism and prejudice against white people. Some stories are really good, but some fall short. Also, I don’t care about the alien stuff. I’m here for the ghosts. Please listen to your reviews. You have great potential, I don’t even mind the ads. This “not so hidden” agenda and pandering is tiring.

9. Creepy L - The Gas Stations tales are by far the best stories I've ever heard! I recommend Creepy to all my friends and send them episodes on a weekly basis. They have a wide selection of different types of horror that will put you on the edge of your seat every time! I have been listening for almost years now and I have not been let down yet! Although this days of horror I wanted to hear a tale from Old Man Henry or the guys at the gas station.

1. Not perfect. - So, I didn’t know what to do, give it the star I wanted to give and have it never seen. Or give it and have issues never addressed. Never mind all that, regardless of how I feel about this hollow story or how annoying the character Nick is. My biggest gripe is the inconsistency of the release dates. The last episode said we’d be getting a new episode “next week”. The release schedule is always a mess.

2. More diverse voice actors please. - I like the show so far, only on season but I just realized that Saul is supposed to be African American. Now I can barely listen to this white voice actor try to sound stereotypically black. I’m sure that you can find black voice actors. Tanya too, can tell they’re white actors trying to sound black. Tanya’s accent is good but Saul is just cringy.

3. An Absolute Gem - If you love a well written horror audio series with a cast that not only shines but draws you in like a Stephen King novel and leaves you wanting more at the end of each episode then look no further! Series creator KC Wayland has expanded the storyline of We’re Alive by releasing a fantastic array of side stories over the years that have not only enhanced the overall story but drew many more fans into the fold. The latest storyline,”Descendants” has brought back the extended seasons similar to the original “We’re Alive” story which started back in . I cannot express enough the absolute joy this series has brought me and many of my friends over the years. This series is so well done that one could easily see it playing out as a live action televised series at some point. Better yet as an animated version which might work as well because they could use the original voice actors making it the same gem that the audio series has been. One can only hope! if you’ve seen any of the stories online and still haven’t listened to the series you simply must do so because you are missing out so start from the beginning and get listening you’ll be glad you did!!

4. My Favorite Show - I’ve been listing to this sense and just recently got back into it. I love every aspect of it and think it’s really well put together. I usually listen to scary story type things, but this tops everything I’ve ever found. This is by far my favorite show and any podcast platform. Highly recommend for fans of horror and drama alike.

5. We’re Alive - I can’t believe how much I absolutely love this whole entire series!! I listened to the entire show in a few weeks and now I have to wait until Feb for the next episode!! One day before my birthday actually! lol. I’m a huge fan and have become so in love and attached to the characters in this show. Hands down the best podcast I’ve ever listened to!! I can’t wait for more!! You won’t be disappointed!! Nothing else compares to this show! Much love and support! Tara K.

6. Original was great, the extra series not so much - The original we’re alive was one of the best listens ever. Lock up, and gold rush were fantastic in their own right. But decedents is lacking, feels drawn out and bland. Content just seems spread thin and lengthened to make it seem like a longer story. It doesn’t add suspense, just frustration.
2023-01-24
7. It just keeps getting better! - Each time I see a new episode popping up in my library my heart flutters. I have listened to many audio dramas and this one immerses you in their world while others you’re just an observer. The diversity in cast and sound makes this series the best around. Thank you for entertaining me for years now. I hope they know their work is truly appreciated!

8. Would be better if it stopped fridging it’s female characters - Alright let me preface by saying I love this podcast, The story and setting are phenomenal, and it’s characters feel real and fully actualized. Except when it comes to a lot of its female characters, who are frequently sidelined into being girlfriends or just end up dead for plot related reasons in ways that wouldn’t happen to the male cast. Spoilers past this point: Burt gets to survive falling off a building
Saul gets to survive being shot and potentially turning
And Angel also gets to survive fall of a building, even if that ends up being only temporary. Meanwhile
Anita only exists to be Puck’s girlfriend and Rhonda’s sister. She is killed by falling off a bridge
Lizzie dies in childbirth
Samantha gets chosen instead of Kehlana to die in the Arena.
Hannah, Kehlani’s daughter, literally only exists to give him a sad backstory so when she’s killed off he gets to die a heroic death. The guys get respect in their injuries and deaths. There’s a weight to it. Meanwhile when the ladies die it’s only to further the plot or make one of them men sad. The only time this happens in reverse is when Angel dies and Riley gets to avenge him. Take for instance in Decendents: people enter the games,
Alex, Nic, Vera, Lisa, Dot, and Vincent.
Only person dies. Lisa. Who is the main character, Nic’s, girlfriend. This was such an obvious conclusion to the games that there didn’t feel like much of a stake to the rest of it because they were never gonna kill off any of the men, Dot is the mysterious new potential girlfriend for Alex, and Vera is CJ’s daughter, plus she needs to survive to be Nic’s girlfriend in the future Yes this is a series where anyone can die at any time and the new world isn’t fair to anyone. But it sure does seem to be a lot fairer for some more than others. It just hurts to keep meeting these otherwise amazing ladies only for them to keep dropping like flies so that one of the guys can be sad for a bit.

9. Best podcast to start listening to podcasts - My brother showed me this podcast early December, and I have blown through this since! Finally on Descendants, but wow is this just a roller coaster ride of emotions fantasy, thrilling ideas, everything under the sun you would want in a story. The mystery and suspense in every episode is mind boggling! Trying two piece it all together while you hear everybody else’s pieces in the story was fun when you had those lightbulb moments and put two and two together. listening to something in the later seasons realizing they set it up in the early ones are insanely cool, I love it when people are passionate about their craft and think their story all the way through even before they start it. I’m already all caught up and just waiting for more! The comedy, the worry, The immersion into their world they’ve created is unreal. You have to listen to this! and to the creators if you read this, I am so happy you guys care so much because I absolutely want more! (And more Puck cause he’s my favorite!)
