1. OMG I love this so so much plus Rick Riordan is so awesome - I love this whole book so so much and this whole series is amazing I reread this book SO MANY TIMES!!!!!!!! I also adore the romance between Percy and Anna Beth ( I mean I like Rachel and all but it’s obvious that she and Percy are not meant for each other) I even made up children for them: Miriam always thinks before she acts like her mom and has her moms gray eyes and can control water and is good at sword fighting like her dad and has her dads black hair only it’s curly like her moms Sam has his dads sea green eyes and can control water like his dad and sword fight well like his dad and likes sword fighting way more than controlling water and is a little reckless like his dad can sometimes be but in the heat of the moment he can think up a really good plan really fast like his mom and has his moms sunny blonde hair except that it’s straight instead of curly like his dads. I adore all of Rick Riordans Greek and Roman mythology books I’ve read the siereses Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus, and The trials of Apollo and they are SO AWESOME!!!! I love everything Rick Riordan writes as long as it’s not Egyptian mythology cause I’ve hated anything Egyptian since I was little but everything else I LOVE I even wrote a biography about Rick Riordan when I was in fourth grade and now I know a bunch of stuff about him like he started liking reading in eighth grade and his dad was also Rick Riordan which makes him Rick Riordan junior and as soon as I get my hands on the Norse mythology series…. LOOK OUT WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. My favorite series of all time - I have personally read a variety of books in this same sort of category and I can say beyond reasonable doubt that this is by far the greatest series of books I have ever read. I started reading these books when I was around or years old and I am now and they still hit just as hard as they did the first time I read them. I genuinely think these books played a hand in making me the person I am today and I could not be more grateful to Rick Riordan for bringing each and every page to life.

3. ReviewKing - ReviewKing here I just want to say even though Harry Potter won my best book award , this book series is astonishing. I thought that since I already have given out my reward that there was no need to even read Percy Jackson but… It was totally worth it. This series is amazing for those fantasy lovers. It has drama, romance, wars. Everything you need you need to love it. This series was amazingly created and amazingly thought. This whole series was thought of by Rick Riordan. But I just want to say this series is amazing and you should definitely read it. So if you think Harry Potter is great, then you should read Percy Jackson. Please check out my other reviews and look out for my best book/series reward.

4. Awesome - A) This book is one of the best, if not the best, in the series. A very unique and cool plot that separates it from the pack, plus some seriously epic action. Perfect ending to a virtually perfect series. I would dive into a river filled with godly power and the hopes and dreams of the dead to get this book. I would probably die. I don’t care. B) Can we not with the Harry Potter backlash? All of the “ripoff” parts are just natural elements of a well-written fantasy story, and anybody who’s read a few pages knows that tonal and character differences are immediately obvious.

5. Cliffhangers - I loved the books so much that I read them all in one week. They were soooooo good. I loved how when the characters were going to say something important they would always get interrupted. You would always want to read more after that. I thought that annabeth and Percy were a good couple but I like collipso and Percy better

6. Great ending to the best series ever - This book is just great. All of Riordan’s books are great, but this one is especially great. And the Percybeth is the cutest couple on earth the ending of the book made me so happy and the rest of it was great also, so glad I picked the first book off of the shelf, I never thought it would lead here.

7. I don’t even know how to explain how good it is - Best book in the Percy Jackson series although I really hate it when that one girl died during the battle I’m gonna say who it is what cabin she was in or how she died not too much of a spoiler just want to see Rick if you’re reading this this is help me through my depression

8. THAT DAM END BATTLE! - Whoa.
I mean, WOAH!
I would easily say that this is the best of Uncle Rick’s writing so far (counting Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo). It had so much drama, heart-stopping action, and one HUGE plot twist at the end. It would’ve been even better if we had known (SPOILER) that Nico had the hots for Percy, like in that scene in the underworld, when Hades wanted to kill Percy (‘just a little bit’), Nico must’ve been like, ‘Dad! But I love him! Pleeease don’t kill hiiimmm!’ RIP Beckendorf, RIP Silena, RIP Luke, RIP Perachel (just kidding we don’t miss you).
Thank you, Rick Riordan, for another great novel!

9. ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS EVER - I absolutely love the fast paced action and Percy and Annabeth! The book had amazing plot twists and tied the series together perfectly...with a little cliffhanger at the end about: SEVEN HALF BLOODS SHALL ANSWER THE CALL TO STORM OR FIRE THE WORLD MUST FALL AN OATH TO KEEP WITH A FINAL BREATH AND FOES BEAR ARMS TO THE DOORS OF DEATH- the great prophecy. It was so good I memorized it!

1. still great - i’m now, but read this series at around - years old… i’m getting chill at every page, every allusion to what might be in “The Lost Hero’s” and forcing myself to cover the screen, not to ease into the last couple sentences of a chapter/book. it’s still so captivating, i love it. reminds me of the simpler times in life, however ironic that may be lol

2. got me back into percy jackson - so i read books - years ago but took a long break with the series. well today i finally finished this fourth book. and let me just say that this was amazing! like i loved every second of this book! it was action packed and filled with many twists and turns. can’t wait to read the th one!!!

3. Nice Book - This book was really amazing! It was entertaining and fun to read. There were times where I laughed out loud and burst into tears. The only thing was in the beginning, I was not very intrigued, but as I read further, this book was fun and quite the experience! I ship Percy and Annabeth! I loved it so much! I completely recommend this book!

4. I DID NOT REGRET READING THIS!!!! - My friend and my brother kept telling me I had to read this, so I finally did and I’m soooo glad I did. It is soooooooo exciting, and I love it so much along with the other ones!!! They will keep you up all night reading with the cliffhangers and suspense. Plus the appearances of Greek gods and goddesses are always AWESOME!! I think my favorite character was either Nico do Angelo or Annabeth! My favorite part was when Percy was in the arena and had to fight his own brother!Overall, YOU HAVE TO READ THIS, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Why i loved this book so much - First, i love the percy jackson books, i mean who doesn't. Second, i love greek mythology. Next, i have only read books so far and i love the series already.Last, i love all the percabeth!!! Thanks to Rick Riordan there is Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson!! There sooo cute together. I can't wait to read more about his adventures and more alone time with Annabeth and Percy!! I gotta go read the next book and thank you that this book was ever created!!!

6. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - There’s actually a third series called the trials of Apollo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttttttttt. Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssssssssss. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Ssssssssssssssssooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmm
Eeeeeeeeeeeee/IT IS AWESOME

7. percabeth - Okay this was a great book. Not the best in the series, but it’s still amazing. Rachel just annoyed me so much. And Percy is so oblivious to Annabeth who CLEARLY LIKES HIM! She just still hasn’t gotten over Luke. And I liked how Tyson was in the book. He’s cool. I love how every book in the series gets more exciting, since its leading up to the war. I already read all five books, and the fifth was definitely amazing as well. I won’t spoil it of course because I’m not a jerk. Percabeth
2018-05-14
8. The Battle Of The Labyrinth - I can't stand Rachel Dare! Who can?! She gets in the way if ALL of my happiness! Now, on a different hand, I LOVE Percabeth(Percy and Annabeth for hose of you who don't know)!!! Overall, boy or girl, this book is thrilling, adventurous, and just plain fun. I think Rick Riordan did an amazing job of including "The Real World" in this book. Things that happen to us as preteens/teenagers happen to the, too. Humor, of course, is as great as ever! If you loved the PJO books before this one, you are BOUND to enjoy this book greatly. Thank you Uncle Rick for giving us Percy!

1. Engaging yet dull. - I loved this book. It kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat. In fact, I finished it in two days. It was nice seeing how Brian overcame his challenges, and how he changed as a person, but at times the writing felt dull. I felt like the author could have been a bit more descriptive. Though the writing style is GREAT for younger readers. Other than that I think the book is great. Would definitely recommend.

2. Amazing stories - The point of a book is to allow our imagination to complete the story in our own unique way. While the base of the story is the same for everyone, everyone views it differently. This series was amazing and full of life. Growing up walking in the woods and plains by myself I can imagine my exit this book is vastly different then someone who grew up in a city. Now that a live in a city I can definitely see such. All in all amazing story.

3. I LOVE THE WHOLE SERIES - Gary is an amazing writer and this book had withheld his amazing reputation. This is a great survival book from a first person point of view, with allows you to form a bond with the main character, Brian, causing you to have a seat in the front of this emotional roller coaster. Everything thing from having to kill his first animal, to almost dying, you feel every emotion Brian does.

1. Jude’s Narrating is Monotonous - I liked The Cruel Prince a lot! I enjoyed Jude’s story, she was witty even in between dialogues. I even grew to like Cardan. Pacing of the story was good. But in The Wicked King I found myself losing connection with most of the characters, and the story. Jude isn’t funny or relatable anymore. She’s a bratty, selfish, power hungry kid. Cardan lacks personality. Actually all the characters in the story have less color. Except for Roach. I liked him. But the worst part is Jude’s thoughts in-between dialogue. It’s not realistic, and it’s repetitive, as if the reader needs to be reminded of the plot every other page. There are a few good pages, like the flashback scene in the beginning, but for the most part, unlike book , book didn’t resonate. Hoping I get different feels in the next books.

2. Best book in the trilogy!!! - Not a lot if people would consider the second book in this series the best. Of course, The Cruel Prince is considered the best in the series. But I truly found The Wicked King being my favorite! All the books in the series had such amazing writing you’d fall in love. But The Wicked King was probably on another level. With the cliffhanger in The Cruel Prince, this book was so much more enjoyable. The plot was everything!!! I loved the surprise in the end and all the crazy events happening in the end it caught me by surprise and I loved it. A lot of people would say that with all these things being thrown at you by surprise causes the book to be ‘rushed’, I personally think that with all these it’s supposed to surprise the reader. SPOILERS I’m not completely sure if this happened in The Queen of Nothing or The Wicked King (be aware I’m writing this review months after reading the series) but oh well, when The Ghost was like “I served Prince Dain not you” I DIED LIKE OMGGGGG I THOUGHT THIS GUY WAS SO COOL WHAT AND HE DOES THING HELP ME I honestly loved how that popped up, its like a “We’re chill while giving highly dangerous/confidential information.” Obsessed!
Once again forgive me if this is in The Queen of Nothing and not this book, but Taryn is the most annoying person ever I’m not gonna even bother using caps for her . I was so close to throwing a chair at her and forcing Addison Rae to defeat Vecna for her . SPOILERS FREE Okay, running away from all of that, this book was overall amazing and one of my bess reads, if you’re considering continuing the series don’t even consider just read this book!!!!! Trust me it might end up being your favorite in the series. Thank you Holly Black for creating such an amazing trilogy and characters that will remain rent free in my heart P.S. Don’t listen to the bad reviews (they’re lying)

3. Loving the story! - Possible Spoilers This was really good! I’m enjoying the story and Jude as a character. I’m still confused why everyone always talks about Cardan when talking about this series. Just like in book , Cardan doesn’t do much until the last few chapters. He’s in the book more but he doesn’t really make an impact until the end. Plus I honestly don’t understand why Jude likes him. He hasn’t changed at all. He’s attracted to her but he still says cruel things. And then Jude is cruel right back now that she has control over him. I think they’re a good match but there wasn’t much development of the together. It was mostly just your internal thoughts. Even with that, I still really enjoyed the book. There were a lot of twists that I enjoyed and I liked seeing Judes thoughts and strategy. I’m still not sure why she keeps believing her twin. She’s been betraying Jude the whole series lol and I actually like how the older sister still thinks like a fairy even though she truly believes she acts and loves humans more. I think that’s very realistic because she honestly doesn’t understand. I also loved the last few chapters, especially when Cardan fully showed his power as High King. I’m excited to read the last book and see how everything turns out.

4. Awesome - It starts slow but once it picks up you can look forward to:
) lots of mystery and intrigue
) tension ) The plot twists and the satisfaction of Jude being awesome ) Relationship development and banter - The only things I didn’t love were ) Taryn and Locke’s relationship (it made no sense to me)
) Minimal character development
) Lack of descriptions of the Fae and settings
Overall, it did not disappoint!
2021-03-19
5. Entertaining - The Wicked King is quite a ride on strategy, game play, brutality, and mayhem. The story will have you scratching your head at the abilities this girl has. I honestly believe that the King cares for and may even love Jude. Many of his actions are protective in nature even if they appear revengeful. Unfortunately, Jude only “sees” treachery at every turn.

6. A wonderful twist to the idea of fairies - This book was great! To be honest I really didn’t like the first book. Not because it was bad but because it was just so bland. After reading this book, my whole perception of the story has changed. There is a lot more going on with a lot more character depth. We really get to see who people are in this story, and how fairies differentiate from humans in that aspect.
2019-01-25
7. Um wth - Spoilers:... OK WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON. EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU THINK YOUR ABOUT TO GET A HAPPY ENDING SHE TAKES THE LAST TEN PAGES AND DESTROYS EVERYTHING. HE LITERALLY GAVE A (SUPPOSEDLY) HEARTFELT SPEECH ABOUT FEELING BAD FOR HIS PAST MARRIES HER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, AND THEN IT WAS ALL A TRICK?? WHO IS THIS CHARACTER?? IS EVERYTHING HE SAYS A LIE? DO ALL HIS KISSES AND KINDNESSES MEAN NOTHING?! anyways, great book :)
2019-01-24
8. Great Overall - I enjoyed the book because it is constantly moving forward and adding new details to the plot. The thing that drives me bonkers though, is that the first book, The Cruel Prince, only got going in the direction I wanted at the end, and then in this book, The Wicked King, the plot went off course again for me by the end of the book! Super Annoyed. It’s one of those times I will end up buying the rd book just to finish the story but I wont be looking forward to reading it because the author seems to set the plot in ways I dislike.
2019-01-18
9. I CAN’T - When will the next book come out because how that ends is crazy like omg I can’t I can’t believe it please tell me the next book will be soon because idk if I can handle not knowing what she will do or if he even really trusted her, but he had to of like come on, she has to have some power Can mortals really not become that like what!

10. New book series by Holly Black - Okay so I am about to start reading this new series by Holly and I just have to say I am so excited. Holly is my favorite author and her series ‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’ were the first books to become my favorite and gain my interest. I remember writing Holly letters and getting letters in return. Holly is the soul reason I read and write today.

2. A Truly Amazing Book - This book is full of adventure and will make you feel like you might have powers too. Rick Riordan must have put so much time into making this and that’s evident because he has made all these references and words that make since with the book. Like characters in the book might say something like, “Holy Hera!” If they’re surprised. I think that is so cool, and I could never do that in any of the papers my mom makes my write for homeschool. I love the slang, but that’s not all, there is so much possibility in this book and so little flaws. (And I also love the way he does the chapters with the name of the chapter being the character’s name in the book, in their perspective). I just want to say thank you to Rick Riordan for giving us something to read/ listen to when we’re bored.

5. rick made this for the gays - thats right. when he wrote this he knew what he was doing, he Knew that about % of his audience was gay/would be gay, he Knew that this would make multiple people Question their opinions on Helenistic Paganism, he Knew it would propel many people into a life of greek mythology nerdom, he knew all of this. he was a prophet. he is the true ally. not just an ally. the life force, of all gay pagans/greek mythology nerds. and i for one, am forever in debt to him for that.

6. The son of Neptune - This is such a great book it has such good action with great mystery I love this book and am enjoying the new Rick Riordan book series I hope their is going to be a new series that follows the Percy Jackson and the heroes of Olympus series I give this book a five stars and also the other books written by this amazing author.
2015-11-28
7. Percy has come back to us - To start off, you MUST read this book in order to the series. The Mark of Athena is the BEST BOOK IVE EVER READ. Therefore, you must read this book in order to finish the series if you want the full experience, YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK. If you are still on the fence, then keep reading. I've read almost , books, and my favorite one is the book after this one in the series. I read all of Rick Riordan's books, and I was not pleased with the Lost Hero. Expecting a bit more on the Son of Neptune, it barley met my expectations. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing series and it's well written. Although, I fell like the characters were not as good as those from Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The character development was absolutely amazing, as it always is in Rick's books, but the characters weren't my favorites. Here's a quick description of the characters: Hazel-- too mysterious, doesn't speak her feelings half of the time, and she was too many secrets. Frank-- his lifeline is not my favorite, he seems to vulnerable. Percy-- as perfect as ever but seeing him with amnesia crushes my heart so I can't bear to read about him when he has those moments. I hope I helped you! Lastly make sure to take note so the character development if you want to read it.

1. Wow!!!! G.O.A.T. Of all Rick riordan books!!! - Loved the book fav one in the series by far!!!!!!! It’s one of my fav books ever!!!! I’ve read the series times now and every time, the titans curse gets me exited and intrigued!! P. S. If I were a demigod I’d be a son of posiden or Athena which is ironic because they hate each other

2. A Thrilling Ending (or not) - (Spoiler Alert!)
Love this book so much!! I suggest reading the Percy Jackson saga if you like:
Harry Potter
Greek Gods
Adventure
Friendship
Plot twists
Satyrs (jk)
Anyways, i’m very pleased with Rick Riordan’s books, as I have read book of the Kane Chronicles and am waiting for book to come in the mail! His writing craft is very nice, and I can imagine i’m Percy fighting in the battle, or finding out he is the son of Poseidon! I was sad that the books ended, but when I found out there were more books, I was sooo excited to read them, currently waiting for them! I am so happy with this book!

3. Titan’s Curse - An amazing book with quite some turbulence. All of the characters are well crafted and hiding secrets that you want to know. Everyone has turbulent lives, but it just shows that they won’t give up. I’ve read this series multiple times and I think this is one of the most emotional books Rick Riordan has written. I really recommend this.

4. Dear author this is the only way I can think of to get your attention - THIS IS NOT FOR READERS ONLY AUTHOR . Please make a whole story where the all come and meet like the main characters like Mangus chase meets Perseus Jackson and Annabeth Chase and then they meet Carter and Sadie Kane And then they all meet Jason and Leo and Piper and the should also meet Meg McCaffrey and maybe adding Grover to the mix would be nice.
2019-02-16
5. Just amazing - I am rereading the entire seires for the second time! I am on this one and its incredible! It s defentetly the best one to go back and read after you've read THE HIDDEN ORACLE: beteween the titan's curse and the hidden oralcle Nico di Angelo has changed so much, for better or for worse. you get to see Apollo in his godly form before his mortal form in the hidden oracle. great book just read it

1. Another fabulous adventure - I absolutely love this book and I absolutely loved the last book too. You see being a Harry Potter fan, I do very much enjoy the subtle similarities included in this series. You know I’m a total bookworm, but a picky bookworm. When you read this your not on your couch anymore, your in the eyes and mind or position of Percy, you are the one fighting your really there. It’s an adventure you experience, it’s not a book to that point, it’s an authentic adventure and experience. You feel each character, there’s so much detail but at the same time not. The writing is brilliant as is the storyline, it’s one of those rare occasions where so many things happen at once but your not lost. I think it’s most certainly one of my favorite series, (Harry Potter in first however, Percy Jackson is great but it doesn’t even compare to Harry Potter!) point is % recommend, it’s more then a story.

2. Amazing - This book is so interesting. I’m and this was the perfect fit. Lately I’ve been interested in Greek and Roman mythology and I’ve found this series amazing because it has old myths along with another story. Once you finish this series I recommend reading the sequel The Heroes Of Olympus series. Overall, this book is great for anyone into fantasy and Greek mythology and more. I loved this book.

3. “The Sea of Monsters” by Rick Riordan - Hi my names Kalop you should read “The Sea of Monsters” and Join Percy Jackson and his friends on a treacherous journey to save there friend and camp. This book is amazing if you like mythology and magical beings. The storyline is incredible and it was unpredictable. It was by far a great book. I think you should read it.

4. Awesome book - The book Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters be Rick Riordan was really good!! The author does a very good job at describing action and what happens in the book. In the book the magical camp the half bloods go to camp half blood's magical tree who keeps the campers safe has been poisoned. Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson has to go to this cyclops cave to return the Golden Fleece to heal the tree but it works a little too well. I really loved this book because it always keeps you on edge and there is a lot of action and adventure.

1. Percy Jackson and The Lightning Theif - Oh My Gosh, I can not say this enough, this is the best book in the world. It had me hooked on the first sentence, I could not put it down, great descriptions, memorable characters and a hella good plot this book is legit awesome. If you like a good fantasy and Greek mythology I ten out recommend!!

2. Better than words can describe - I’m and I started reading at or , so yah. I looooooooooooove this series!!!! So much blood and death! I did a whole biography about Rick Riordan last year!!!!!! I’ve read all of his books (. Greek mythology (duh) . Norse mythology . Egyptian mythology . Roman Greek mythology .Roman Greek mythology )!!!! I recommend all of the above to everyone close to my age. No complaints, love EVERYTHING about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(infinity sigh)

3. Favorite Book Series!!! - I LOVE the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series! It is so adventurous and fun to read. I would literally read this book in school. I recommend the book to anyone who loves action and adventure. BUT there is one problem. So many people say that they like younger kids to read it. I personally think that because of war, death and some hostility it should be for people who are at lest . Other then the age recommendations I LOVE the series and recommend it to anyone who is at lest .
2022-12-09
4. Fun and action packed - I got recommended this book from my girlfriend and even though I haven’t seen any of the movies, I really enjoyed this. It’s a lot of good things mixed into one that sometimes made me go from laughing, to anger, to sadness, and back again. I really enjoyed this and now I am most likely going to be spending many days and hours reading the rest of the series.
2022-08-15
5. Mythological and Action Packed - This story is your typical lonely, troubled kid that’s ends up learning that they have powers and needs to save the world. And this book performs this magnificently. Considering the demographic for this book, I think this is a perfect story containing great friendships, action, and it even teaches you about Greek mythology. Fun read for any age. One side point, if you or your child has ADHD (like myself) that they are struggling with, this story is very comforting and you can really relate to Percy and his struggles.

6. (And I also love the way he does the chapters with the name of the chapter being the character’s name in the book, in their perspective). I just want to say thank you to Rick Riordan for giving us something to read/ listen to when we’re bored.

7. Really good book - DISCLAIMER! I didn’t use the digital version, I’m reviewing the book not the quality of the ebook. Anyways, I love this book, I haven’t even finished the entire thing! I didn’t think I would like it as I haven’t read a book willingly in years (By willingly I mean not being told to, I found it and just decided to read it)! I has hooked reading this at midnight because I just had to read more. /

8. If you’re looking for a new series then you found it. - This book is so amazing that when I was in school we were supposed to read it as a class but I may have gotten a bit too interested and read the whole thing. A day ago I was thinking that Wings of Fire was the best series in the world and is far better than every book but honestly now I’m not so sure after reading a couple books in the series. I hope you enjoy this masterpiece as much as I did.

9. This book is WOW!! - It taught me some more than what I learned in school about Greek mythology gods like The goddess of revenge. It is a good book. Inspiring and Worrying like what’s going to happen!! I’m on the fourth book so far as today. This is my after read after the Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson. READ IT TOO!!!

10. To address a few things - . One of the best book series of the twenty-first century, period. Good for readers of all ages—hilarious and exciting, setting up much more greatness to come.
. Why are a bunch of the reviews “love this book, fun and great” and just one star? Is it to attract more attention to positive reviews? It’s hurting the average, plz make your ratings reflect your opinion and put emojis in the title if you want to make sure people see your review.
. The Harry Potter backlash is ridiculous. Harry Potter is an incredible fantasy story starring a bunch of teenagers. Percy Jackson is an incredible fantasy story starring a bunch of teenager. Yeah, what a rip-off!

2. I don't hate rick, guys. - Look im not trying to be oblivious or anything but I did not notice all these problems people keep mentioning. I read the book but I was wondering if other people liked it or not. When I read you guys's reviews, I almost had a heart attack. I got the horrible realization of what you guys where saying. But honestly I never thought about a book that hard. But I still like the books. Good job Rick. But I do recommend to spice it up though. I like your books, not that there bad or anything.

3. Awesomeness! - Ok! If you guys have been reading sense the beginning of the the Percy Jackson series “The Lighting Thief” I think we can all agree that this was Awesome!!!! I mean the Roman twist “SQAR” and the fact that Nico was there and didn’t tell Percy about his past. And There definitely was some good humor in there and if you guys remember “ the tribute “ the part with golden boy was good to. So all around this is was a good book. I have been a fan of Rick Riordan for years now and I look forward to the next book in this series

4. Amazing book - This book is great but I don’t recommend reading it unless you have access to the last two- it ends on a MAJOR cliffhanger. I don’t particularly like how everyone is a couple. It makes it seem less like a group of seven (technically if Nico and Hedge are counted) and more like couples and other people. I’m a bit annoyed that Nico isn’t one of the seven because Percy already played a major role in the last series. Nico still plays a big part, but it seems like Percy is getting favored he should’ve replaced Nico as the extra that tags along. I suppose in the end the seven have to stick together which means Nico had to be more of a side character. I hope he plays a bigger role in the next set of books.

5. Magnificent series! Love it!!!!!! - This book surprises me every time! I think, I really think that this book helps me, all of you grow wisdom and imagination. It's so sad, too!!!! 'Cause Annabeth and Percy fell into Tartarus!!! Well, they saved the Athena Parthenos statue, but they risked their lives! I really like the series, and I can't wait to read other books!! Also, I recommend you to read this BOOK!

6. Great! - Overall, I this series. (BTW, best series EVER!) But what was kind of disappointing is A) The plot, and B) The characters. The plot was kind of boring. Yeah, we get it, the seven are supposed to save the world and all, but Rick just keeps throwing impossible situations at them and they just get out of them like, “Pfft. Yeah, that was nothing. I mean, why WOULDN’T the author let us get to Gaea and give her a nice big smack in the face?” And the characters! Oh my gods! Nico is suddenly this creepy kid stalking around when before he was a nervous kid who played Mythomagic! And Frank! He was so sweet to win Hazel’s heart, but now that he’s got her, he transformed into a self absorbed brat! He’s mean to Leo because he thinks Leo’s trying to steal Hazel when he’s not! I mean, come on! And so what if he does? Frank needs to get a grip and open his eyes! Geez! (I feel bad for Leo.) Everyone aboard the Argo II has their match! (Percabeth, Frazel, etc.) So yeah. But overall great book!

7. I have read his books start to finish and i’m deciding to finally make a comment on his books - first i have only read half of this book and its really got me hooked the reason i’m halfway done is because school got out and I couldn’t finish it so that’s sad but i’m happy to see that rick’s books are very popular for i’m a happy reader and I enjoy a little suspense every now and then but his books deserve a star rating even though I cant afford the digital version because I have no money on my phone

8. Just plain awesome - I just love this book. There's no way around missing this, you have to read this book. I know the characters are great, the story is great, but it's just gripping, from the first page of excitement about the sneak peek in the last book, to the ending (no spoilers), it's just awesome!

9. Would Not Recommend - The Percy Jackson series is one of my all time favorite series to ever be written. But I did not enjoy this series at all. Here are the reasons I would never recommend this book series to anyone: First: I couldn't even recognize the wonderful character of Percy. The way Riordan wrote Percy in this series made him seem like he had gotten younger and less mature and was trying way too hard to be a teenager. One of the conversations in one of these books consisted of "Bro." With the response of "Bro." Wow. Truly amazing I must say. Second: It feels like Mr. Riordan has spent way too much time on Instagram as he uses phrases such as "OTP", mentions tumblr, has one character state, "the music broke his feels." Since when was that proper English to publish? Third: Every character had to have a girlfriend or boyfriend. It wasn't just a fun story with friends anymore, no. It was "hey we all have to be in a relationship or we feel like crap about ourselves". All about dating. The one person who, for a little while, didn't have a girlfriend felt out of place and bad he didn't have one. You do you, my friend. You don't need to be in a relationship to feel ok about yourself. Fourth: SPOILER ALERT What was with that ending of the last book? It takes five books to defeat Kronos, the Titan lord, yet the mother of the gods and Titans, the earth mother, was defeated in less than half a tiny chapter. SO anticlimactic I wondered if I had read it right. There was an unrealistic lack of any sort of death except the character everyone knew was going to die. Seriously, a huge battle between monsters and demigods and only one casualty. At least make the story partially believable. Fifth: By the end I was wondering why I even continued as I was dragged on and on and on and on and on......and on through pointless, meaningless scenes that would have been better off if he had just casually stated that they did it. None of the original characters were recognizable through these pointless scenes. Where were the REAL Annabeth and Percy? Sixth: I have nothing against the gay community, but I felt that Riordan making Nico gay and having the hots for Percy was just him buying into popular culture and forgetting he had an interesting and hilarious imagine that we saw in the Percy Jackson series. I love Riordan and all his quirky, funny, imaginative, godly humor, but this series made me wish I had the money back I bought the books with and the time I spent reading them back. I banished them to Goodwill hoping someone who likes them can enjoy them at a much better cost than I got them for. It may be for some, but not me. Many would recommend it, but I say don't spend the money and try reading his new series about the gods of Norse mythology. Nothing but good things about that.

10. Amazing cliff hanger - This is an amazing book but such a cliff hanger! I don't intend to spoil this book for you but Percy and Annabeth have fallen halfway down the cliff and then the book is over. Come on can't Rick Riorden do a bit better than that? But now that the house of hades has come out you should read this one and then the house of hades. So I Gus's this book gets a star rating.

1. I LOVE THIS!!!! - One, it was very exiting and repellent. It always did the opposite or the exact thing I expected. That made it a good book. Of course, every thing you expected was in there with a few... unexpected things. No spoiler alerts
, but I’ve read the whole thing. If
you don’t like it, Then I don’t know how your mind works! ( Not that I would know anyway)

2. I LOVE TRIALS OF APOLLO - Great books! I... kind of go Shelper.... but not really.. I think, if Jason was still alive, and he and piper didn’t brake up, they’d be perfect together.. (read the end of this book... shelper is Piper Shel) anyways, great book! As a “daughter” of Apollo (I was able to tell by my awesome archery skills, love of poetry and my great guitar/ukelele/piano/flute skills.... plus a “Who’s your godly parent?” test) I find these books great! Now here is an acrostic I made about this series:
A musing
P erfect O verly amazing L ester is funny L ove the whole series
O nly series that makes me laugh whenever u read it (in a good way) Now, everyone, GO GET THIS BOOK!

3. I’ll miss you! - I love each and every one of roidans books. Their the series that keeps on giving. They give me so much joy and entertainment. I started reading the Percy Jackson books in th grade and just now finishing the last installment series in the Greek universe feels so bitter sweat. I love how it did a good job of keeping to its own and adding the other beloved characters from the other series into it. Overall great series amazing ending to not just the book series but me the book series. Amazing as always love to see more on this universe from roidan however if I don’t I’ll understand. I’ll miss these books that’s for sure.

4. I Love It! - This book is really great! I have read all of the ones in the series and the ending to this book just makes me want him to write more! I love how the end brings in old characters that have both been in other books and have helped Apollo along the way in The Trials of Apollo. I also love how one part of the ending gives you a cliff hangar for two of the other characters, hinting that they will be going on a new adventure, while the other ties up Apollo’s story as well as the stories of other loved characters. I REALLY hope he makes a new book with Nico and Will (Solangelo!!). I’m fangirling right now. I did watch an interview and he said he might be teaming up with Disney to make a series on Disney and that makes me both excited and sad because I can’t wait to watch it but my parents won’t get Disney . Sad. Please read the book and the whole series as it is a good one! I’m in high school and I still love his books!

5. great book! - incredible book. what really made this so great were all the small character interactions, which really built up the dynamic between everyone. it was nice to see how much everyone had grown- and not just when apollo was talking about it. this was a bittersweet ending to the camp halfblood chronicles, and i’m never going to forget this series or the impact it has had on me.

6. Wow! - I don’t even know what to say, this book was incredible! I am so thankful to Rick for giving me the opportunity to go on this journey with Apollo! The entire series was amazing and I really enjoyed it! Beautiful storyline and characters. I loved all of Apollo’s adventures and how some older characters/ references where included too! It is obvious that this book was written with love. For all of you readers don’t forget to check out all novels in Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus, The Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase, and The Trials of Apollo. Rick, you are the true hero.
2020-10-10
7. An amazing conclusion. - I started reading these books years ago when I was younger and now, having finished this series as an adult, I can truly say these are wonderful. The complexity of the emotions, coupled with humor, and a masterful amount of lore makes these novels a pleasure to read...no matter your age. If I could recommend only one thing it would be that, if you are reading these as a young adult, that you stop back in and read them again in five/ten years...just so you can see how much your perception/reactions might change. I swear on the river Styx you will not be disappointed.
2020-10-09
8. amazing resolution - this book is amazing. it perfectly concludes the series in a very satisfying way. i love the way it ties in new characters and old characters (i would die for estelle blofis) and the way it nods to elements of other books and even the other series, namely the Kane Chronicles reference that made me happy scream. So please, do yourself a favor and read this book, and i hope Pipers part at the end makes you gasp as dramatically and fangirl as much as i did :)

1. My review has a SPOILER alert - Great book until Jason Grace’s unfortunate death!! C’mon Rick!!! Jason was awesome in the Heroes of Olympus series! And now he just..... dies?! I mean I get it... that’s the life of an author. You gotta make people die. But JASON?!
... I gave this stars because other than the unfortunate death, the books are great! I read all the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus/Trials of Apollo books!!
2021-08-29
2. SPOILER ALERT - Horrible use of character death. I love a good tragic death and I love Rick Riordan’s books, but Jason’s unnecessary death was just garbage. He died a minor character. He survives an entire battle with Gaea, the entire freaking earth, in the last series and he comes back as an unimportant side character in this series to show up just once to die stupidly. He died for no reason at all. His death didn’t accomplish anything! I would be able to forgive Jason’s death if he died to permanently defeat an evil empower or resolve a major conflict, but no. He gets stabbed for nothing and it’s all over. The death prophecy was completely unnecessary. The plot would have been just fine if the death prophecy was omitted and Jason just went back to boarding school when the fight was over. He basically died for shock value, and didn’t even do that right. It wasn’t a sad, dramatic sacrifice. He gets stabbed in the back and everyone dips. That’s it. He’s gone. So basically, an important character died just for a quick plot gimmick. He survived tons crazy battles in previous books just to die in a minor duel to some dude named Booties. We never got to see him reunite with Leo or make peace with himself after breaking up with Piper or see Nico out and proud with Will. All of those good plot opportunities gone for a cheap character death.
2020-10-24
3. Honorable - I still don’t think Jason’s death was avenged when I could literally feel piper’s sadness plus she had to see his body did you put it into so much detail I was literally OK maybe not completely literally but I was screaming. Quick tips for the next book please write it fasterCan’t wait. Also could you do something with Jason and piper like you did nico and bionica where she get can see and talk to him for a bit Just want to see piper happy again.
2020-08-08
4. Spoilers ahead - Ok to be fair I knew Jason’s death was gonna happen because I am not patient but I was so upset about it that I straight up refused to read this book but the I finished all the other series I knew that I couldn’t live without reading this one especially since if you make any new book series after this one you would talk about Jason‘s death so I finally read trials of Apollo
I down right loved the other books except I was sorta sad about Calypso and Leo staying in Indianapolis but when I got to this book it was still a very good story line except it was a sad story line so not my favourite although I love the ash tree nymphs and how funny they were. So uncle rick if you are reading this please don’t mention Jason’s death in any other book except for The tyrants tomb where his funeral is in.
2020-07-19
5. Great, but heart-wrenching - I love rick Riordan, i love these books, i love the world of Percy Jackson. I love the humor and the emotion. Uncle rick has a way of causing the reader to connect to the characters in such a way that backfires when one of them dies. Although it’s sad, its great story-telling
2020-05-24
6. Oh my gods - What is your problem Rick? I mean, do you want to give me a heart attack?!
After I finished the book, I went downstairs, baked myself some snickerdoodles, went back up to my room, cuddled under the blanket, and started reading the same scene over and over while eating all my snickerdoodles which are one of my least favorite cookies so I don’t even know why I made them sobbing the whole time. I cried n so hard my body couldn’t produce anymore tears and I had to go and get myself some new tear ducts. This is what you have done to the innocent children of the world I’m going insane. But this doesn’t mean i want to kill you. No. For the sake of me and everyone else’s survival, you have to stay alive. Even if you deserve to die in the deepest and darkest of holes. I am non existent without your writing. WARNING!!!!!!! don’t read the Percy Jackson series. It leads you into this deep and dark hole of sadness and laughter and awe. You can’t just stop reading rick’s books. You have to keep going till you die or else you will die. It’s a horrible curse. To those like me who have already fallen into this deep dark hole of madness, Godspeed, and remember, there are others around you to get you through these terrible times.
2020-02-11
7. Killed me like it killed Jason - The writing was good, the jokes mediocre, it was a little slow, but cool to see Jason and Piper and Grover back in the story...
Until Uncle Rick SLAYED JASON! There were some really heartbreaking parts in the burning maze, and it was all so sudden! Would recommend for people with more patience than me.
2019-10-17
8. It was good and bad - Spoilers It was so good but then Jason died. Look I know that heroes die and all but seriously why did it have to be so soon!! Also why did Piper break up with Jason to begin with? Then to make matters worse, Crest had to die!! Why do the good people die!!!! Though I am glad that Annabeth and Percy are still together and alive otherwise I would have started balling. I am having a lot of mixed emotions about this book.
2019-06-03
9. Jason and Crest - (Spoilers) I cried in my bathroom when reading of Jason’s death. I understand that authors have a reason to kill off characters in books, but that doesn’t make it any less painful. Crest was so small and new. I really hoped he wouldn’t be killed off so soon, but he was. I just hope that if/when Apollo returns to Olympus (whether or not that be in his godly form) that he somehow finds a way to bring back Jason or Crest. Maybe he’ll somehow convince Asclepius to give him the physicians cure or Apollo will go to the underworld and bring them back himself. Either way, great book!
2019-05-14
10. Rick I understand - Spoilers.Spoilers.Spoilers ahead.
Honestly I’m so shocked that we lost Jason so soon. Our relationship just started with him and I thought we could at least depend on another series to send him through. Percy’s been alive for how long? I’m not saying I would rather have had Percy die. That probably would have been too devastating and I think you would lose a lot of fans there. Percy is too crucial to the plot/your base too die at this point (at least I hope so). In these stories unfortunately hero’s tend to die young. I get that you did this because you have to be realistic about this, as sad as it is, too often hero’s die young. So I get it but it doesn’t make it hurt any less. Thanks for punching me in the feels. Is death forever for Jason? Can we ever expect to see him in the future? He did do a lot for the gods. Would he be offered immortality as Percy was? Honestly I’ve read/had read to me while traveling all of these books from the beginning. You are a genius and Disney butchered your books . The magic that is in your pages is beyond Disney’s grasp and I just wish everyone could experience what we experienced when we’ve read these books. Thank you so much for doing this. Please don’t ever stop writing.

1. THIS IS IT - Everything we've been waiting for. The explanation to so many vague statements and possible double meanings. Excellently written mystery that once again has a conclusion that is both satisfying and leaving us hungry for more. Harlen Coben does the best job of creating compelling characters and scenarios that keep you from putting the book down. A must for all Mickey Bolitar fans!

1. Just as Good a read as an Adult! - I first read this book when I was in Middle school. Now re-reading it in my Thirties after finishing Tempests and Slaughter. I’ve always wanted to know more about Numair and now reading Wild Magic again, it’s so detailed and well thought out. The characters personalities jump off the page! Tamora Pierce has been a favorite author of mine for a long time. She just gets better with age. Wild Magic is meant for young adult and is a quick read yet filled with so much color and deftness of writing. I enjoyed the journey just as much this time.

2. Completely Magical! - I love this book!! I was a little frustrated with the many mistakes which must have occurred when it was digitallized. I highly recommend a review by whoever fixes such things!! However, I first read this when I was much younger but it was such a joy to re-read!! I could see the collection being made into movies similar to Harry Potter but they lean more toward nature with mages instead wizards. Although I would recommend starting with the Lioness collection first because it lays a beautiful foundation as those books really lead up to this collection. All in all they provide hours of very enjoyable reading with characters that are very endearing!! Like I said I love it!!!!

I recommend it to all animal lovers!!!!

1. Enthralling, Vivid & Well Written - Literally couldn’t put this down. Being at work felt like torture when I couldn’t be reading this book. The anxiety I already have was certainly heightened during the craziest, action filled parts of this book, and yet I needed to persevere; to keep going just like these boys. Praying there’s even a short addendum on the way to update whatever the future holds for Andrew and Jamison. Must read.

2. AMAZING!! - i mean i really felt all the emotions i imagine the author wanted me to feel, i shared silly little snickers with myself at the jokes and teared up at emotional pages, the love story is great, queer representation but the story itself is what really amazes me, finding hope and love in the least likely places and times. it’s an amazing story i would very much recommend.

1. Amazing Series - I have to admit that this is the best series of books I’ve ever read! I’m happy to know that Will still has a long journey ahead of him, and that he is the main character.
His story is most interesting. The story of the ranger life is also very entertaining. I can’t wait to read the next book.
Oh, and there was no sexual content.

2. Best series I’ve ever read - Started reading this series in middle school, and finished it for the first time as a senior in high school. 1. Wow - This is the only book of the series I didn’t give five stars. This book didn’t really pick up until the end. My family and friends said it was there favorite book of the series. It left a lot of questions but answered a lot as-well, this book is good although it’s slow and really confusing at the start. I recommend reading it, I read the other three in a week (all of them) but this one was slow and I don’t really wanna finish it so I read it in two weeks. Again I do recommend it but it’s not as good as the first ones especially cause I didn’t see newt lol but it’s alright not bad not great. It’s good.

2. BEST BOOK EVER!! - I started this book and finished it about a week’s time later. This book was a real page turner and had shoved me into a world of, death and disease, head first. I dove right in and picked up on the characters right away. Me being only still a tween I would recommend this book for all ages. James Dashner’s word choices were impeccable. He let me grasp onto the characters and feel their pain and hardships. When I read this book I felt the group’s pain with the heat considering I read this during summer down south. Mark’s affection for Alec, Lana, Deedee, and most of Trina intrigued me. His hope and determination, his willingness to not give up hope when hope had been buried many miles below untouchable ground. James Dashner has touched deep into my emotions and grabbed them and mixed them together into an angry yet fearful and fearlessness with sorrow and affection to top it off. When this book was over, I had gained so much, yet I had lost a piece of me that I would never be able to find even if I had crossed the world, that piece of me was lost in the infinite amount of space beyond our world. It was almost as if James Dashner was predicting the future. With climate change it may as well turn into the world of sweltering heat caused by the sun flares. I can’t express enough about how there will never be a book as amazing, as emotion grasping as this book. I wanted to cry when the book was over for so many reasons. I am not going to spoil this outstanding book so I will only mention one reason. I started to tear up that this book had come to an end. Me and my brother will pretend we have the Flare, and walked around in a gimpy sort of way. Thank you James Dashner for helping me come into this world with Mark, Alec,Trina, Deedee, and Lana and others who have been lost. Sincerely, Eloise V.A.

3. Ehhh - I couldn't get into the book. It was very boring and repetitive. The whole book is basically Mark and Alec endlessly running and fighting and there is no character development or solid plot line. It did answer some questions left by The Death Cure which is the only reason I kept reading. I'm a pretty fast reader so I was surprised that it took me almost a month to actually finish the book. I was very disappointed. It seems the author used up all his decent writing in the first three books and rushed through this one.

4. MUCH better than The Maze Runner trilogy! - Let's be honest: I wasn't a big fan of The Maze Runner book. It was okay. But I liked The Scorch Trials and couldn't easily stop reading it. The Death Cure was slow but then got really good with the last - chapters which I couldn't put the book down. And then this book was MUCH better than the other three books! It explained almost everything you needed to know. But it's not just that, it was also much better written. And the one thing I loved about this book is that they didn't use "shuck" and "shank" and all that (those words really annoyed me in The Maze Runner trilogy). But it's not just that. It's EVERYTHING. You don't even need to read the trilogy to read this one!

5. So confused! - I loved the series and decided to read this one. In the beginning, I was super confused on the characters. Who is mark and Alec?! I searched it up on google and it just said it was a new set of main characters! I love thomas and the old characters and I miss them! Reading this book without them in it is boring and confusing :(

6. Good, but... - I felt like in this story James didn't flesh out his characters enough for the amount of action he had. There was only like or chapters that were not about Mark and/or Alec running and fighting. It was kinda like reading a paragraph that ends everything in an exclamation point. You still can enjoy it. It's just the action parts get repetitive.

7. Ehh - I read The Maze Runner series and then decided to read the prequel. I was pretty disappointed. For some reason I cannot get into it. With the first three books I read all three of them within a week. I'm going on a month with The Kill Oder and I'm only half way through. This book is boring. I love this series but just not this book.

8. The Kill Order - The novel, The Kill Order is a suspense filled thriller about survival in a new order. The main characters exhibit strength of character and the ability to persevere against great odds. In addition, The Kill Order explanations how the world came to be for Thomas in The Maze Runner. Read this novel!

1. READ IT NOW - This book. I cannot begin to-I don’t have the words…I cannot tell you how many times I got chills. I had to make myself a fresh bowl of ramen and get a heavyweight blanket- I was so chilled. This book is master piece and my favorite in the series! Btw: I don’t care who this “offends” Micheal Vey is better then Percy Jackson and Harry Potter.

2. Must read - I’m in the process of getting it and It has everything a good Book needs it was entertaining and I had a lot of action even if it was at the end and character development is amazing I would definitely read the series over again and yeah I would not be scared to watch her to buy any I knew games I mean I mean if they have them but the books are amazing

3. Michael Vey Fall Of Hades - This was an amazing book. It had a lot of energy and suspense and it was truly amazing. It's has everything from war and death to love. The only criticism I would make is that the ending isn't very good. It leaves you on to much of s cliff hanger. Yes I understand the Richard Paul Evans was trying to write an ending to lead into his next book but I person do not like the way it ends.

4. Great but..... - Lots of detail was put into this book however most of the important action like Michael fighting the Elgen was left to the end and I would have rather there be action slowly getting more intense as the book progressed Even though there was less action then I would've wanted I loved the character development and we got to see the new girl cassy as well Overall stars

5. Great. Definitely recommend. - Yes, I think we can all agree that this book is awesome. I am a huge fan of reading fiction such as Harry Potter and Percy Jackson and this is on my top . But it has to have a cliffhanger! Well, I guess that IS what makes you want to read the next one . Anyway, great job writing this amazing book, and please come out with more. Definitely recommend:)

6. Favorite book series! - Richard Paul Evens. Definitely a very unique, imaginative, organized, and undeniably entertaining author. The way he is able to portray each character, and there characteristics, is phenomenal. I read the first books in less then a weeks time. I myself am a begin writer. I'm in the process of writing my first book. These books are almost my encouragement to finish my book. These books contain every value you search for and need in a good series. Among these are; friendship, deep emotions, very close relationships with family, action, adventure, standing up for what is right, mysteries, interconnection with the characters, team work, sadness, joy, adrenaline, and most of all, love. Bravo Richard Paul Evens! Thank you for this unfathomable series! Can't wait to read the ending! Keep up the good work! September is marked on my calendar. Elijah McMahon P.S. Jack is my favorite character.

1. Horrible just horrible - You left out a lot of important things like meeting Medusa and sending the head to Zeus and the importance and demise of Gabe. You also left out Luke’s confrontation with Percy which changed Percy and gave Luke a chance to explain his motivations, which is the back bone of the entire series. This graphic novel is a worse insult to the series that the actual movie was. Every step of the journey west is important and has ripple effects for the rest of the series. Percy was even supposed to meet Nico in the Lotus for the first time in this book. Only picking the parts that you like in the story is selfish and making people pay for this adaptation should be illegal.

1. Piper. - I really liked all the characters and their personalities but it’s just one problem I have. Piper. Throughout the series, she develops a “I’m Not Like The Other Girls” trope and it gets really annoying. Don’t get me wrong, the book’s good but Piper is sort of a female dog. (Sometimes.)

3. LOVE IT!!! - I absolutely love Rick Riordan’s books! He has been my favorite author since the first book, and now I’m collecting his books! Someone else mentioned that they loved Harry Potter when they were little but they don’t like it after reading Percy Jackson, and I’m happy to say I agree!

4. RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. Reader or no - This book is absolutely incredible. I am a huge mythology fan and love to read Rick Riorden’s books. Believe it or not, I didn’t expect any more books or big twists in the Percy Jackson series, but The Lost Hero brings fantasy to a whole new level. I love it so much, I bought the digital and the physical copy so I could read it everywhere! I definitely recommend this book to everyone whether you are a reader or not. But, I warn you, you must read the Percy Jackson series before you read this one. Otherwise, the book won’t make any sense whatsoever. Now, stop reading reviews and get reading this book!

5. Love it - What I really like is how you made piper acts kind of like an Aries child (sorry auto correct it won’t let me say it right) Even though she’s a child of Aphrodite really cool. When I was little harry Potter series was good to me But it’s terrible that I think about it after I read The first Through third series (not to be mean to Rowling)

6. All the books are AMAZING!!!!!!! - These books keep me up until like midnight reading! I can’t stop reading these books! Roirdan makes the books amazing, it feels like your in the moment they're in right now! I've read all of your seasons and hope a few more come out ( Not the trails of Apollo yet)

7. - I love this book. I couldn’t stop reading it. It had a good amount of pages because I usually finished books in a day or so, but this one took me a week! The Greek mythology was great. I learned so much and it wasn’t just a boring book about facts. It had a great story in it. Overall, my rating is:

8. Great book! The suspense is real! - This book is really awesome! It is fun to see other characters' points of view, though I must say I really miss the iconic first person story telling from the last series. Also, I am super worried about Percy! I hate the suspense and simply cannot wait to read the Son Of Neptune! (Also, son of NEPTUNE! Seriously, does Percy really believe his dad is NEPTUNE, not POSEIDON. He needs to get his memory back, like now, before I get angry, and I haven't even read the book yet!)

1. Stereotypical - stars for rest of series but this book was a disappointment with its stereotypical references (i.e. Fairy tale wedding, princess and the wedding dress makes the marriage) and dangerous and juvenile behavior (ill pretend date you to make him/her jealous). You started off with an independent smart role model for young woman and reduced her character to a scraping, servile, “playing games with men so he will love me” immature girl typical of the s. Oh. And she saves the world. Really could have elevated her character to a much higher level.

2. I can’t right now - The ending of the Phoenix has been keeping me up all night and it’s nearly am. Lorenzo’s confession at the end gutted me and leaves me wanting know which of the many theories I have may be right. Cause dang it if Huntley can’t have even one good thing in her life. But I digress, I have to say I absolutely love these books and the twists and turns they take- but boy oh boy am I struggling with waiting for the next book.

3. Queen of Cliffhangers! - In true Jillian fashion she has dropped huge bombs on us and we have to wait for the next installment. If you get angry at cliffhangers then I'd wait this series out because Jillian knows how to leave her readers hanging. It's a bit difficult to write reviews for these books because there is so much going on with not only the missions but with the personal lives of the characters. I never want to give anything away and that would be inevitable if I wrote more than a few lines. These are fun books and I love how Jillian dives into the world of money and prestige and digs up secrets no one wants revealed. There is a lot still to figure out with this series and you know I'm here until the end.

4. This series is a must read!! - Jillian- how could you do this to us!! Hurry up with the next one! The ending to Phoenix will leave you wanting more. As someone who doesn’t review very often, I felt that everyone needs to know that this series is a must read. Each book is just as good as the first. It’s not a series that moves on to a new couple/situation with each book but keeps the story flowing though out them all. I love it!! Jillian is a great author in not only this series but her other books as well.

5. Wow WOW wow - Oh my, no words to describe this one..... I can only say the way the Author has wrote this is by far the most gripping an epic journey. I never want this to end. I have cried I have felt the love an joy, the suspense an discovery has gripped my soul. I dream of seeing it in film or in a series it’s that good.

6. “What did I just read?!” Stars - JESUS, Jillian Dodd! You just gave me a heart attack! This series. I cant even begin to explain how awesome this series is and how different it is from anything I have read! Jillian has made her own world, that is so much like this world and SO thought out and crazy! The things she has come up with, the riddles, the puzzles, the clues, the outcomes, I just cant put it into words!! This book pulled together so many questions, but left SO MANY more that need to be answered. I dont event know where to begin... AND THAT ENDING! SHUT.UP! I cant even begin to describe the emotions and feelings I had when the book ended. There was not one cliffhanger y'all... there was TWO! Two cliffhangers, I cant even! If you havent read this series yet, you need to pick it up! The series wraps up with the last book coming out later this year! Jillian Dodd you are pure genius and I love diving into your worlds you build!

7. The Phoenix - The Phoenix book in the suspenseful thrilling Spy Girl series. The story starts off answering so many questions you have had. It’s full of so many shocking things it will leave you with your mouth hanging open. The characters are so realistic you feel as if you are apart of the story. You are constantly trying to figure out what’s going to happen next. The story is so good you won’t want to put it down till you’re finished and then you are asking for more. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

8. On the edge - The Phoenix has to be the most intense book to date that I’ve been reading. With everything on the line and time line trust is important. I feel for Huntley and Lorenzo both have the weight of having to stop the unknown. I was impressed as always with the amount of research put into this book. You feel for all of these characters with the secrets and world on their shoulders. Just amazing

1. Titles don’t matter so much as the authors names do. - Very fast read. Uncaged grabbed me right away and I finished it in around hours. John Sanford is one of my all time favorite authors and when he collaborates with another author, I go ahead and trust his judgment and read their works. Now I have another author to add to my library.

1. Hi :) - REPRESENTING MARGINALIZED IDENTITIES IS NOT PC INDOCTRINATION!!! This is a great book, and RR is a great author. I especially love how he includes lots of representation of marginalized identities. As an LGBTQIA individual, this makes me feel seen and included in the fantasy genre, which has painfully little representation. Sure, he may be doing it sort of heavy-handedly, but at least he’s trying, which is more than most authors are doing.

2. Rick Riordan’s Greek mythology books are Great! - I’ve read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, The Hero’s of Olympus series, and THEY ARE THE BEST BOOKS IVE EVER READ!! (Plus they’re VERY humorous). I’ve read the Harry Potter series, the Chronicles of Narnia, and other popular book series but none have stuck out to me as much as this! I LOVE the books and I highly recommend reading them if you like nice, funny books.

3. The Dark Prophecy - Such a great book. Always introducing new mythological creatures that make the story really interesting. Helps people learn about Greek and Roman mythology at the same time. It's not just a kids book, but a book for adults too. I highly recommend that you read it. It's worth every penny.

4. Best Books in the World!!! - I have read all of your series including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, and this series. I got The Hidden Oracle for my eleventy birthday!! I am so hyped for these next books!!Rick Riordan, you are my favorite author of all time, and I hope you make more series with Greek mythology. You are the most creative and coolest author of all time. By the way, my favorite character in all of your books is Percy Jackson. I like his humor and way of making me laugh. This is why I love your books. Sometimes, i stay up till : reading these books. I get trapped in these books and this lets me learn about Greek and Roman mythology. I hope you make tons more books like these. I always get trapped in your books, which is a good thing, and when I look up my mom is yelling at me to the chores. Thank you!!

5. Great Book! - I have to admit, when I first found out about the Trials of Apollo series last year, I was reluctant and skeptical at first. Books usually begin to fail after a second series, but this definitely proved me wrong. The Trials of Apollos is an amazing book and is definitely as good as the previous series. I cannot wait for this book to come out because I am excited to read what else will happen. The Greek and Roman Mythology just keeps expanding and Rick Riordan finds amazing ways to incorporate the myths into the present storylines. Although I wish there were more flashbacks to other time periods(I'm a sucker for flashbacks :p) the book is still pretty darn good. Definitely would recommended reading, but if you were, I would suggest you begin with Percy Jackson and the Olympians, then Heroes of Olympus, and THEN this book series. All of the series are connected together and although it's not necessary for you to read them in chronological order, it is best if you do because you're less lost and know a lot of background information. / book!

6. Can't wait!!!!!!! - I cannot wait for this next book!! After reading The Hidden Oracle it made me more hype than ever for the books coming next!! I personally think that it could be very interesting if Rick Riordan did some of his magic and brought the characters from Magnus Chase and had them collide in The Trials of Apollo, because as it was clearly stated in The hidden Oracle, THEY ARE HAPPENING AT THE SAME TIME!!! But seriously Rick Riordan... Ur the best!!

1. Can we take a moment please - Okay, I love this book, yadda yadda yadda. It’s amazing and I totally recommend it!!! BUT. Can we take a moment and realize the extreme stupidity of the person who said “ didn’t even show the fight of ragnarok”?? Because to have shown that, the “mortals”, aka us, the readers would have to have know what the world was pretty much ending, and so obviously he couldn’t writethat in. I’m really not trying to be mean here, just pointing stuff out!

2. The best! - I really love this series and I have this book on my bookshelf at home. I really like the characters and I think this book is really good at breaking off from the normal teen adventure and romance stereotypes to create a wonderful story. My favorite character is Alex and I think that she/he add a lot to the story. (Sorry if I phrased the pronouns wrong). I also love the fact that Sam is a strong independent Muslim girl and I hope that people won’t stereotype others just because of what the media says about those who are part of the Muslim culture and religion. For those of you who have said so on some other reviews, why would you say praising Allah is wrong? It’s part of her religion and is something she believes in. I may not be Muslim myself but don’t say someone practicing their religion is wrong. Another great thing about this book is that the narrator (Magnus) does not do everything on his own and is not the only one taking credit for the achievements in the book. This book is amazing and if you haven’t read the first two, you definitely should! I don’t think this book is political as someone’s religion or sexuality is not part of politics, but part of their own identity. Also, you should really check out Rick Riorden’s other book series like Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, or even Trials of Apollo if you have not already. I’m in high school and I still consider them to be my favorite books. Thanks for reading my review! I really hope you read this book, it will open you up to a whole new world! I really wish he’d make another one.

3. Wow - This was a suspense creating masterpiece that properly ended the series. One of the best books I’ve ever read. In this story Magnus has to get Kvasirs mead, beat Loki I’m a fluting, and delay Ragnarok even longer. You should definitely read this book and recommend it too friends. Rick Riordan writes really good books, making himself worthy of the title “The storyteller of the Gods.”

4. Perfect - This is definitely my most favorite book series of all time. All the characters are all very interesting and unique and the diversity is mind-blowing! There are all sorts of different races, religions, orientations, and abilities and all of them are done so respectfully without the use of stereotypes or assumptions. Poorly known identities are politely explained by the characters themselves, ensuring no stereotypes persist. It’s amazing and I’ve never seen anything like it!
2020-10-11
5. Political - I found this book to be extremely political. Extreme leftist politically correct ideology with a Norse mythology based story mixed in for spice. Fundamentally this is fine, but I hate stories that force feed some ideology instead of just unraveling naturally. Rick Riordan (sadly) has run out of things to say, and is now relying on a political ideology for people to like his books. Between the gender fluid character to the random homosexual references, to the extremely weak male protagonist that doesn’t really do anything; all of this together comes together for a story that has no substance and no moral virtue. In trying to garner and bestow values, Riordan has forsaken what made his stories good in the first place: heart.

6. Amazing - This book was one of my many favorite books of all time. I love how Rick Riordan writes, his imagination is like one of a child’s with all sorts of awesome endings and cliff-hangers that keep you on the edge of your seat. In all it is a truly wonderful book and tells people about Norse Mythology and packs in all sorts of action packed fun! - year old M.M. Holleman

AND PLEASE INCLUDE MAGNUS AND ALEX IN THE BLOOD OF OLYMPIANS BOOK OR WHATEVER!!! PLEASE IM LITERALLY GOING TO HATE YOU IF YOU DONT!!!! PlEEEAAASE!!! And also don’t forget the ROMANCE BETWEEN THEM!! I MUST HAVE ROMANCE BETWEEN THEM IN THE BLOOD OF THE OLYPIANS OR WHATEVER!! I MUST ITS A NEED TO SURVIVE!! And this is the MOST important comment, MAKE A MOVIE, IT WILL BE AWSOME IF YOU DID I WOULD BE SOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY !!! And you must include everySINGLE detail from the books, no take outs, IT MUST BE TAKE OUT FREE IF YOU DO. AND PLEASE SAY THAT YOU WILL BECAUSE IF YOU DO IM GOING TO BEG AND PLEDD TO MY MOM TO SEE IT. PLEASE MAKE A MOVIE

9. Can confirm is pc indoctrination - I used to love his books until his last one, which I got the hint of some politics into places where it shouldn't be. Like muslim protagonist praising allah and a gender fluid it of Loki. The gender fluid is said of to tease Magnus for pronouns and identifying as a different gender. Such stupidly. Such waste of a valuable author. Such waste of my money.
2017-11-15
10. fangirling - OMIGAWD! I finally got the courage to read the first three chapters and they are AWESOWE! I'm happy to see that Magnus and Alex are taking about something other than Alex's gender. I feel like nearly every time Alex and Magnus spoke to each other in the second book, it was about if alex was a boy of girl. It was amazing to see Percy and Magnus in the same book! I simply CANNOT wait to read the rest!!
