1. NewJeans Debut! - I rarely follow or download female Kpop groups for various reasons, but these ladies are amazing! This album reminds of me of the bang that ENHYPEN made with their first out. This is awesomeness!!! All the songs are very well arranged. It sounds so good. What a breath of fresh air from the bubble gum, cutesy, girly-girly, I’m in puberty, he didn’t call me, what kind of finger-nail polish music that most girl groups have been pushed to. 2. I rarely like Kpop Girl Groups - NewJeans broke the mold. I was so sick of hearing girl groups that sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks. This group is fresh and their music is refreshing. Every single one of them is talented and it's music I can actually listen to without getting a headache from the loud noisy music that has been so popular with Kpop.

3. Serioiusly, solid collection of soulful pop - I'm not in the NewJeans fandom, but perhaps I should be! This is such a solid EP...no fillers. Great songwriting. Nice grooves and quite a bit of nuance and soul from such young talent (omg they're young!). Can't wait to see what's next for this group. It'll be interesting to see how they do in the US market.

1. Spectacular album - I got into stray kids Bc of this album. The songs (I was shown) that really caught my ear were MANIAC, Charmer, and Waiting for us. Then I wanted to hear the rest of the album, so I did. I love FREEZE so much I absolutely cannot with the flow and the vocals. So then after I listened to the album I listened to their ENTIRE discography. I have been a stay for like months now, because why not. 1. Love, love, love - I didn’t buy the album but you can listen to it for free on Alexa but I just want to say something really serious. I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!! My favorite song is ice cream. I know love is a really strong word, but in this case it’s accurate. I really want to buy this album but I cant afford it. 3. They ALWAYS get better each comeback! - Stray Kids never fail to amaze me! They just keep outdoing their self and I love it! Case is such a great title track. The samba reference and r&b flair in the bridge & pre-chorus is EVERYTHING! I love the switch ups all through tout the song. Taste is definitely my favorite b-side, following Chill and racha.

4. Period - Being a STAY is awesome. I love SKZ they change my life so much. Taste hits different. I feel like hyujin has a hidden side. I love it take Red Lights and Taste period hyujin. We can’t forget the Makane in Can’t stop the two youngest period I.N and Seungmin. They have come a logg bc way from there debut. Never cease to amaze keep it up. 5. Mini Album Of The Year! - The kids never fail to impress me! From “Case ” to “Circus (Kor. Ver)” they bring new and exciting tracks that will for sure change the music industry and leave a big impact. This is their second best Mini Album in my opinion. With “Maxident”, Stray Kids explore new territories and genres, creating their most experimental and innovative work to date. As a Stay, I am proud to stan these talented icons! Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin have continued to grow as artists and individual and it’s exciting to see how much we’ve grown together. Been a Stay since Dubai/Christmas Evel Era. Check out some of their other mini albums like “I Am Who”, “I Am You”, and my personal favorite “Clé: Levanter”. You won’t regret it! 6. Stray Kids IS a genre - Since they write and produce their own music and pretty much have creative freedom with their music, they’re able to take it any direction they want to go. Racha is so gifted & talented. Not only as writers, producers but main rappers, dancers, singers and even the group Leader. This is another no-skip album from Case to the Korean version of Circus. There’s even a sort of steamy follow up to ‘Red Lights’ that Hyunjin also wrote called ‘Taste’ (Hyunjin’s words not mine) I’m very happy. Stays showed SKZ love & support when Case was released. At the minute mark of it being out it hit the million views mark! At mins past an hour, we did ONE MILLION!!

3. Disappointing - Just another money grab. I miss the BTS that existed before all they cared about was churning out crappy music they didn’t write themselves and milking ARMYs for money. No wonder they took time off. Run BTS is so cringy and they choreography is meh. Their quality of music has been declining since LY: TEAR. JIMIN’S voice, especially, has deteriorated. Get some vocal lessons, honey. It’s bad when you can hit a high note in the studio but can’t do it live to save your life.

At the center of it all, it’s their love to ARMY. Their songs were written with us in mind so we can withstand the burdens we may carry. I am so proud of the boys and all their hard work. 8. Proof BTS is still the best in k-pop - Fan-tas-tic! Final album (before the break) showcases their diversity in k-pop over the years solidifying that they are the reigning kings of k-pop! Proof brings out nostalgia and makes any ARMY have a bittersweet feeling when listening to songs like No More Dream to Spring Day to Butter. Ending on For Youth is sure to make any ARMY teary-eyed and for good reason. BTS gives us that glimmer of hope and anticipation for what is yet to come.

3. OMG AMAZING!! - Actually this is my first EXO album and wow where have I been. I absolutely adore this band, I listened to their other songs and they are great too. This album is just killing it for me, it feels like I am listening to it all the time, probably because I am..lol. Like, I immediately vibed with the song but as it continued, it started sounding more like it was a remix of Popstars, both in terms of music and vocals. Still, this has potential. 2. Amazing vocals, but confusing - I don’t really feel that there’s any cohesion in this album. The songs are fantastic by themselves, but there’s nothing linking them together that would tell you they’re from the same album. I love that K/DA has branched out and included more vocals, but along with that, I’m uncertain if these new singers are supposed to be characters or collabs. For instance, are the Twice members all supposed to be Ahri, or are they collaborating? Every song says that it’s sung by K/DA with others vocals, but those vocals (like Madison Beer and G-IDLE) you know are members of K/DA. It just felt a little like Riot decided to grab big name singers to hype up the album, which is a tad disappointing to me. If you’re going to do that, make it obvious that it’s a collab, like what they did with Seraphine. Throwing in all the extra voices throughout the entire song makes it confusing to follow who’s singing, especially for those of us who are still new to the K-pop universe.

BTS has grown as a group beautifully, from hardcore bad boy hair cuts and WHY DON’T U LOVE ME BACK, to colorful backgrounds and Spring Day. 1. A Great Debut! - I know many people were upset to hear about SuperM being formed since they were afraid it would take away from other group promotions. Of course, they’ve already debuted (again) so I think fans shouldn’t be so upset and take it with a grain of salt. We get all of our favorite members in one group! At first, Jopping was interesting to me and I didn’t really like it, but it grew on me and I think it’s a great debut song! Plus a lot of it is in English so I can sing along! I do admit that they might have tried to appeal too much to an American audience in that their identity became sort of blurred, but I still think the songs are pretty solid. I loved all the songs, but the cohesion of them, or lack there of, is something to be discussed. The group has so much potential, however, so there’s a lot of room for improvement. 3. I Can’t Stand...wow - “I Can’t Stand the Rain” for anyone who would doubt the talent of these guys this is a song that is worth the listening. Yes “Jopping” showcases their stage presence and their dancing skills but this song...the flawless falsettos!! It’s a teaser of an album but if these guys can produce this type of song imagine what they can do with a ballad. K-Pop is an acquired taste and if you’ve loved what you’ve seen and heard does it matter what they’re singing about? Music is music and this song...made me appreciate this new Super group.

7. Poor synergy - It’s okay. There’s good songs and catchy beats but I think the members clash and their voices/skills don’t blend nicely. I have been a fan of these groups separately and I find it very strange when the groove gets thrown off and I feel like I’m listening to a different song when it’s still the same one. Nct empathy was the best in my opinion, and I think things got screwed up this year. I still recommend the album cuz it has potential and I think lots of people will like it. It’s just not exactly my style.

1. Uninspired - Girls' Generation (SNSD, So Nyuh Shi Dae) fans will worship anything the group produces even if it's not very good. Such is the case with Mr. Mr. As is customary with SNSD albums, they put all their effort into the title track and phone it in on the rest of the album. The resulting album is a mediocre title track supported by filler tracks which just aren't very good. SNSD has stopped trying at this point, because they don't need to try when fans are going to worship anything they do regardless of quality or lack thereof.

2. So disappointed - Their last album (it was a Japanese album, but I still count it in rotation) was so so amazing. The songs, while typical in content, were interesting and buoyant sounding. This mini album is just slow (not in the sense of ballads), boring and, frankly, just dull. I was expecting something good, but the whole thing falls flat - even the title song. Huh, looks like I'll have to wait until the next full album for something good.

I expected more - I listened to NE's album then I came to and listen to SNSD's album to be honest I expected a more strong title track, I kinda liked I Got A Boy but this sounds like any other of their songs they need a more upbeat tempo with some Dubstep like I Got A Boy or else their songs will sound to much like Genie or their other songs. Also this song doesn't let each member show their skills, theirs not enough parts for each member. As usually in my opinion Taeyeon has too many parts, I feel as it's mostly her song. But, in the end this is my opinion.

2. ALBUM OF THE CENTURY - This album contains EXO’s best title track by far. The vocal line is truly able to shine throughout the whole song, but especially at the unique a spell a breakdown towards the end. The rap line is able to display their skills in both verses. The dancing for the entire song is immaculate and has unique and interesting choreography. This song has not been replicated by any group ever, not even EXO themselves has outdone this. The rest of the album is filled with some of the best b-sides. There’s ballads, and heartfelt vocal heavy songs, as well as upbeat bops. Also Gravity. Just in general that song slaps. Ooh La La is an amazing slow jam, and Damage speeds it up some more. Overall, / album, I own copies.

3. Oh la la la - As an EXO-L I can gladly say that even after nearly a year, I keep coming back to this album. In a world where kpop moves toward what’s in trend, EXO never backs down from trying new things. After reading some of the one star comments, I can’t help say that there isn’t an explanation for them except hate. Why buy an album you know you won’t like.... why even write a review explaining why you didn’t like it. I guess if it wasn’t your cup of tea you could exclaim it in a respectful manner but not dragging down people that worked hard to produce an album that fans waited for, for a long time. I truly hope, you love this album as much as the rest of loyal EXO-Ls whom have shown their support through sincere words. I fell in love with EXO when I first heard call me baby and can truly say their vocals and passion still shine through this day. All in all, this album deserves five stars, not because I loved it because EXO deserves it.

5. Evolving and Enjoyable - Finally, Exo is using more harmonies and vocal combinations of singers to add different sounds and more depth to each song. rather than just giving each singer a turn. Although they are not trendsetting, I like Gravity and Oh la la la the best. (especially Gravity lyrics). The song, DMUMT, has a lot of great elements to the song, but whoever approved the jazz age sound/beat to the line "Don't mess up my tempo", really missed the mark as it doesn't fit and it's too arcane. I kept seeing tophats and canes while listening to it. Overall, Exo fans will not be disappointed.

2. Best. Album. Ever. - This album was incredible. I've been a fan of SNSD for almost a decade and I've always loved Taeyeon's voice, especially in her OST ballads. Her vocals are amazing and this album just showcased all her vocal talents. I only didn't like one song (Stress) only because I just didn't connect with it like the other tracks. U R definitely showed off her range and Farewell was just a beautiful song. 'I' took a bit to grow on me, until I listened to the instrumental. 6. Taeyeon is completely breathtaking! - Our Kid Leader of SNSD (Girls' Generation) has finally made her solo debut and I couldn't be happier. Actually, I take that back. I could be happier if she released a full length album. However, this album rocks. It's got everything from Ambient Alt Rock to Ballads (which she excels at) to Pop Rock. The title track "I" embraces the stylistic differences of Alt Rock, EDM and Ambient and combines them flawlessly. "U R" is the ballad type that many Taeyeon fans were waiting for (seeing as she's the queen of OSTs). This song was powerful yet peaceful. "Gemini" wasn't my favorite song on the album and it still rocked my socks off. "Stress" is a great example of the way that Taeyeon was experimenting with different sounds. This song is an upbeat, pop rock song that really shows off her vocal ability. And the final song "Farewell" is another ballad that just rocks. It plain rocks. She plays with parallel keys and nails it perfectly. This album is perfect for any SONE, Taeyeon fan, or just any person anywhere. If you want to hear precise vocals, look no further. 3. Best Debut of the Year - You heard me right. As much as I loved Stray Kids' and (g)-idle's debuts, this one completely changed the rookie game of . I seriously can't believe this group hasn't gained more traction. The entire album is stellar and their performances are consistently incredible. Hopefully they'll be able to overcome the disadvantage of being from a small company and take center stage in the next year. I want this music around for a long time!

4. Such an AMAZING DEBUT - So I am a fan of kpop as a genre and I listen to a LOT of different groups because I sincerely appreciate the hard work and dedication they put into their craft. I've kept an eye on ATEEZ since they were KQ FELLAZ and I was really looking forward to their debut and this EP did NOT disappoint. It is so unique in the BEST possible way, the instrumentals are spectacular and the vocals and rap are amazing and there is no bad song. If this is just the beginning I have such high hopes for this group and I can't wait to see this group perform a live stage someday. If they somehow read this I would like to tell the members and the staff and production team that you all did such an amazing job and I'm a proud fan! Keep up the great work and I hope to see you in Korea (if I can make it) or LA (if you can make it) in the near future.

2. Rush - Review - This is far better than Trespass Mini Album. I really enjoyed all the songs. The songs flowed well together to piece together a story. It was very cohesive in a way all the songs made sense to be included in this EP. This album shows the beginning of falling in love, to the emotions of love and the break up. There was a lot of variety in the songs and showcased the versility of Monsta X. It showed their bad boy and hip hop inspired style through songs like ‘Rush’ as well as their emotional side with ‘Broken Heart’. My favourite song from this is ‘Hero’ as this is such a great song along with it was the song that made me interested in Monsta X. Least favourite would be Amen as it was not a memorable song. Overall, a great mini album.

3. Rush - EP - This is album is good, but I don't feel like it's an improvement or a good follow-up from their debut album. I like the album, but I feel like the title song "Rush" was a little bit underwhelming and not as catchy as "Tresspass". I think it might be because of the lack of lyrics in the chorus, which I feel disrupts the flow of the song. I think that "Hero" and "Gone Bad" are really good songs and contribute to this group's hip-hop genre, but as for the other three, I wasn't sold. "Amen" is nice, but I find that it sounds very similar to B.A.P's song "Bow Wow" and as for the other two, "Perfect Girl" seems a bit long-winded and like it drags on without a set beat or rhythm, and "Broken Heart" is an okay ballad, but I didn't expect a ballad from this group and I don't think it really fit them - maybe it would have been better if there were no raps in it and it was just for the vocalists... And this album kind of feels like a B.A.P-type album in my opinion. Overall though, it is still a good album and I would recommend it, and I will be looking forward to what else Monsta X will release in the future, as I think they have a lot of potential to be big.

3. Perfect Velvet is more Experimental, and I Love That - Peek-a-Boo is a higher tempo pop track that will certainly please K-Pop fans, but where the album really shines is after Peek-a-Boo. In particular, Look, Kingdom Come, My Second Date, Perfect , About Love, and Moonlight Melody are simply phenomenal. I was overjoyed at the amount of R&B and Soul that was mixed into this album, whether it’s the slower paced, but mesmerizing Perfect , or the bouncy joyous About Love. Look is also a great display of the more experimental side that this album delivers. And in semi-classic Red Velvet fashion, Moonlight Melody is a beautiful piano piece to cap the whole thing off. Simply put, I truly believe Perfect Velvet is Red Velvet’s best album to date, which is saying something considering their high pedigree. And for that matter, one of my favorite albums. 4. I'm just SHOOK!!! - Perfect Velvet is the best KPop album I've ever heard, and I've heard a lot of them. These ladies slay! The music, the vocals, killer harmonies, and the showcasing of their vocal range...all pure gold! The maturity and sensuality of the ladies' sound comes through in every song. The production is airtight, and the song selections are all unique and well done. It's a great concept album with great r&b notes throughout. It is extremely difficult to pick a favorite song on the album, and that is a great problem to have. Well done, Red Velvet. You've made my ears so happy. I'm going to go play the album for the fifty-eleventh time.

6. Perfect Velvet is Perfect - I have been so excited for RV to come back with a more velvet side and this doesn’t disappoint!! It’s such an excellent mix of their soft, velevt side and their more poppy, red side. Words can’t express how happy and proud I am of these girls for how amazing they are. PV is a blessing and an wonderful piece of work. There is not a song you can skippable song on here. My first favorites are: Peek-a-boo, Look, I Just, My Second Date, Perfect , and Moonlight Melody. 7. perfect is an understatement - I’ve been a big fan of red velvet for a while and I really love their red and velvet side. I’ve been hoping for a velvet album and I am so glad we got it! 1. THEYRE SO TALENTED. THESE SONGS ARE BEAUTIFUL - Utopia is the party hit you’ve been waiting for. I love the energetic and groovy feel to it. The descending bridge IS EVERYTHING. ILLUSION AND WAVE are the SUMMER SONGS FOR SURE. Both are different; Illusion gives off this hip hop/ pop mix with a triumphant chorus and Wave gives off this Latin vibe. AMAZING. Don’t test their vocals because they’ll leave you with your jaw dropped. Dancing like Butterfly Wings is a beautiful empowering song. Overall, LOVE THE ALBUM. RECOMMEND IT.

2. Every single song is amazing. - ATEEZ did it again. Every album they come out with just gets better and better. One to All is catchy, it’s beautiful, it makes me smile, it’s the perfect album for summer. Rarely do I find a group where I can listen to their whole song list and enjoy the whole thing. I usually buy songs here and there, but with ATEEZ getting the whole album is just a given. They have such a distinct, fun, well-developed style. For such a young group they are consistently impressive and exceeding my expectations, and I cannot wait to see where these guys go from here.

2. Giving me MJ life right now!! - I had came across Taemin's video for Danger while binge watching everything having to do with Shinee and I have to say Taemin is killing it on his album!! 5. Lee Taemin Breaks Out, and How - Going solo is no small feat, and creating your own image outside of your band is daunting. Add to that the inevitable Michael Jackson comparisons, and you have a recipe for disappointment. Not so with Taemin's solo effort. On "Ace," Taemin establishes his own identity, a vast departure from Shinee's cute maknae. As many websites have noticed, he's no longer Taeminnie and has come out swinging as TaeMan. Love this guy and the direction SM is taking him. His talents are unbridled, ready to unleash on the world. "Danger" is fantastic, and both the song and video play homage to Taemin's hero, MJ, without looking like a cheap imitation. Every song on the "Ace" EP stands on its own, but my own personal favoritess are the title track, "Danger," "Pretty Boy," and "Wicked." stars all the way.

6. What a Surprise!!! - I don't know what I was expecting from this album, but I should have known it would be amazing and top notch. I am more than impressed by Taemin's vocals as well as the melodies, beats and production of the songs. The best song is absolutely Wicked. Nice beat with a bit of soul. Come on! I can't listen to it without bouncing my head. From top to bottom, the album is on point and a complete success.

8. Lee Taemin Fighting!!! - To say this album is good…would be an understatement. From the very start, Taemin’s voice weaves around my soul and holds on to it dearly. His voice is so smooth and soulful with a slight edge to it. I love how the album showcasing how much he’s grown as an Artist and as a Man. I purchased the digital copy because I simply could not wait for my actual pre-ordered copy to arrive. If this is the beginning, I can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us in the future. 9. Stunning! - This mini album is gorgeous. I had such a hard time picking a favorite song but sonata/play me definitely won in the end. Every song is unique but they all fit as a whole and I am just so proud of Taemin. The songs chosen, especially the title track Danger, suited his vocal color so much. 10. So smooth! - Seriously this is a wonderful album. Let's break it down! Ace - Written by Changmin of TVXQ has a wonderful sensual smooth sound. The dance that accompanies it is perfect too. In the teaser and select performances the line "I want to be your only Ace" is changed to "I want to be your only one". Taemin does a lot of really fun things with his voice in this song. It's a song that's really grown on me with time and reminds me of Seal - a good quality to have because I can't remember the last song I said that about. Danger - What's not to love? Absolutely amazing. It sounds just like a modern Michael Jackson song in the best way possible. The beat, the dance, the vocals. It's one of those songs you can't help but sing and dance to. There's not a note in this song that disappoints. The only thing that's missing is the gun shot from the music video. I didn't expect it to be missing from the album, but Taemin said in an interview that he did it that way to add something special for live performances. Love it, love it, love it. Absolutely my favorite track on the album - possibly so far this year. Just killing it! Experience - I don't have much to say about Experience. It's a good track with castanets, synths, and piano for the background track with a random dubstep breakdown at the end. It's a good track, but not a favorite of mine. It's one of those tracks that makes me wonder what it would sound like stripped down to just vocals and piano (probably amazing). Pretty Boy ft. Kai (EXO) - While I think Danger suits Taemin the most out of all the songs on the album (aesthetically), this song written by SHINee's Jonghyun really feels more like it's written close to Taemin's heart. All the other tracks are great songs, but this was the one that had something to say. "She says 'you’re a guy so…' like a habit ... Why is being sensitive and prepared the opposite of being a man?" Preach. Wicked - This was the most surprising track on the album by far. It has a real funk to it with the doo wops and saxophones. I need to listen to it more but it's got a great groove and rhythm. That note towards the end has SOUL - you know which one I'm talking about. It gives me chills! This is really what Taemin excells at. My only complaint is that I wish he did a few vocal turns on his way out of the song. It ends too quickly for me. Other than that, solid track. Love it. Sonata (Play Me) - I can't place my finger on what song this track reminds me of, but it's a fantastic slow groove with chords I haven't heard in a while. It's really nice. It's not a stand out piece but it definitely fits the mood of the rest of the album and feels a lot like Ace. As much as I love Taemin's vocals for his more powerful moments, I didn't expect he'd be able to sing these slow songs so smoothly. He just relaxes into the tracks and you find yourself melting away. A lot of the softer songs have an ethereal quality to them (which is probably why I think of Seal). Fans jokingly call Taemin a fairy prince because of his looks and what they do with some of these songs really fits that image. I found that I like it a lot more than I thought I would because I'm a huge fan of the sound/character of songs like Danger. It just proves that he has built a great vocal range. For someone who came to SM as a dancer, Lee Taemin has really become something special over the past years and I can't wait to see more of what he has to show. Lee Taemin, this is DEFINITELY your showtime! 화이팅!

11. AMAZING!!! - I usually don't write reviews but I just had to! this is too good to be true! By far the best Mini Album of ! So proud of Taemin! I can't stop listening the the album is sooooo good!
