2. Some people making low reviews are stupid - The people making low reviews are doing it for the dumbest reasons they literally hate the thing that makes trash taste good! Plus there are some low reviews that are people who like trash taste but dislike thing. Also, If you give trash taste a star because you watched an episode and thought it wasn’t “weeby enough” have a singular brain cell that can only comprehend - anime.

3. One of my first podcasts - Really enjoy the dynamic of the three. Sometimes they do just kinda yell over each other but other then that I see no cons to this podcast. I was already a huge fan of Cdawg va and his yt channel and listening to this has introduced me to the other trash taste boi’s and have found myself found of them too. Honestly some of these episodes you could listen to not knowing anything about them since they talk about generic life stuff but other episodes where they talk about anime new comers might be a little confused. I’m kinda just rambling at this point but I’d definitely give it a try if you want something to cheer you up and make you laugh a little.

4. Good (Except the Guests) - Guest episodes are the worst thing about this podcast and that’s about it. Chris is the only guest that actually feel “natural’ When any other guest is present, it just feels like a clumsy interview where the boys ask questions while also wanting to go on their usual tangents. It also doesn’t help that I just DONT CARE about any guests that come on. It just doesn’t mix well for me and usually leads to me skipping any guest that isn’t Chris

1. Favorite podcast ever! - I’ve been listening for the past few months and already listen to a good chunk of the podcast. I don’t have many friends to talk anime with so being able to hear others opinions and reviews of shows is perfect for my work days! Love you guys and look forward to making my anime addition worse!
2022-11-16
2. Real opinions from real anime fans - I’ve been listening for about two years now and am well past addicted at this point. The hosts give their honest opinions on the shows they watch and why they do or don’t like them. I love it because even if I don’t always agree with their takes on shows, I frequently find things to try I never would have given a chance. All of the hosts have their own personalities and they clash often leading to interesting dialogue and discussions about all sorts of things. They all like anime for different reasons and you’ll often find them pointing out things about a show you didn’t notice until they call it out. If you just want glowing reviews of the popular anime of the season, you’re not going to like this one. You’re going to get real opinions from people who have their own tastes in anime on this podcast and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

3. Star Show - This show will consistently impress you. The dynamic felt from each group of hosts is outstanding. Each combination was well informed and well rounded, consistent and sometimes risky, as well as unique and entertaining. The extra content and discord community will absolutely top you off if not fill your anime addiction. Thanks you Mitz, Mason, and Caroline for all your hard work. - Kiryuchristian

4. Great Podcast! - Been listening to this for a long time and has been a consistent in my line up for going on runs. Hosts have changed around a few times but overall I love listening to everyone. Usually helps me weed out the anime I shouldn’t even bother with as I get older and have less time. jellybeans out of .
2022-08-08
5. Good - Mitsugi’s taste is a bit old and blinded by nostalgia, Mason prioritizes short series or ovas and likes slice of life too much, and Caroline is just too new to anime to have meaningful comparisons or opinions. Chiaki was the best thing about this podcast and she’s gone now, so I give you guys longer shonen you’ll never consider watching out of .
2022-07-03
6. Proud Addict - I absolutely hate apple and only use an iPhone (occasionally) because my job gave me one. This should show you how good this podcast is because I went out of my way to figure out how to give them a star review on a phone I rarely use with an IOS I despise. The hosts are hysterical and Pancake (Mitsugi’s fiancé) honestly tops even them when she makes an appearance. They are a touch hyper critical but I think it’s a benefit (very easy to give the popular stuff top marks to gain easy favor). Whether you agree with them on any given point or not is almost irrelevant as they are very entertaining and the community they have fostered is truly wonderful. I can say I am proud to be an Anime Addict!

7. Anime Podcast that makes you go Aaa - One of the best anime podcasts around in terms of production quality, variety of content, and hot-takery. They won’t always love what you love but they usually (USUALLY) will have a good reason for it, plus the Freudian interplay between the trio is great, between the Id of the bald guy, the Superego of the Weeb hipster (weebster) guy and the Ego of the girl next podcast trying to keep it all sane. Plus they’re really active on discord so if you hate what they say you can tell them to their digital faces (but keep it civil) and in return they’ll interact with you and make you just a little bit less lonely in this crumbling world.

8. Read On Your Podcast - You guys are the first podcast I’ve ever listen to in my life. I found you guys because I got tired to listening to music at work and decided to look up best anime podcast. So I started on episode one and I’m on episode . You guys are amazing I work from - and I listen to you guys for the full hours. I’m glad you guys have so much content I can listen to and help pass the time. You guys are amazing keep up the good work.

9. Great Discovery - I recently found this podcast, and immediately loved it. I listen to podcasts to make doing the dishes and cleaning up easier. The connection that they have with each other is amazing, and they all have great takes. I highly recommend checking them out for all things anime. Keep up the great work

10. Idk if it’s me or the show - This isn’t the place for a debate or a rant, so I’ll keep this as short as possible. I enjoy the anime community because it allows people from around the world and with every imaginable background a chance to come together and talk about this amazing art form. It seems like lately the show has involved a lot of disparaging remarks towards people with different views than the host. So, idk if I’m just paying attention to it more as I’m older, or if it is in the show more, but I’m out. I’ll give it two stars for the many good shows of the past, but I think it’s time to find something different.
2021-12-13
11. Great Podcast! - This has tons of quality content ,great audio and fun fan interactions on the show. What else could you want? The hosts all have their own unique views on anime and it shows when they state their opinions. Anytime they disagree with each other they hear the others out and don’t rain on anyone’s parade. I never find myself agreeing exclusively with one host but that’s part of the fun. :P They have a great vibe and you can tell they’re great friends. Ive been watching anime for well over years and I’d say that this is a good podcast for anime addicts new and old!
2021-11-16
12. Old AAA New AAA - The older episodes are better than the newer episodes after listening to both old and new episodes mitsugi sounds real unenthusiastic in the newer episodes with halfhearted reviews on everything caroline is a meh host chiaki is way better and mason is probably the better out of the host which i only listen to now for his reviews ps: just like another certain review veteran weebs stay away from this podcast or just listen to the older episodes and newer fresh weebs this is for you
2021-10-01
13. Such a Great Show! - I’ve been wanting to stop in on your live streams for a very long time now and I just never get the chance. You guys are the first podcast I’ve ever listened to and now one of the only that I still come back to. You never cease to give me a laugh and I look forward to every single show. Keep being awesome you guys! - Brendan

14. I bought a Mac to write this - I am keeping my promise of bribery to Mason in hopes of actually being able to bribe him. I started listening to the AAA Podcast in late and have loved each host in a different way. From Kazuo’s strange Eiffel Tower to Mandi’s love of boy butts, each host is so unique and yet they work so well together as a group. Sometimes I’d like to imagine Mitsugi with hair but I think that would be asking too much. I miss Mandi and hope her to be well. The current cast of Caroline, Mason, and Mitsugi (And most importantly, Pancake) are so rambunctious and their energy is infectious. I’m writing this on my th birthday and hope to spend at least uhhhh more with you guys. Thank you for making my anime addiction worse!

15. Five Years, Still Here! - TL;DR - Agree with them or not, the AAA Crew is always a blast to listen to. Because "when you're here, you're family." [This message not sponsored by Olive Garden.] Long Version - I've been listening to these guys ever since I got my first job washing dishes, and that was...whoa, five years ago? The fact that I've been tuning in for so long attests to the quality, because I don't listen to any other podcasts; none of them hooked me like this one did. Through the host changes, anime seasons, and differing opinions, Wavieff has been there through it all, loving every second. I was joking earlier, but it really does feel like home. Five outta five. Easy. (Also, don't make me choose a 'best host!' Y'all are too great! I'll say this, though, Mits gets too much hate. The Pope's word is LAW.)
2021-05-16
16. Not what I was looking for - This podcast is a good podcast for a SELECT number of anime fans and or watchers. The hosts all share their feedback and opinions on anime and although there isn’t anything wrong about that whatsoever they tend to give opinions that will be counterintuitive to getting people to watch anime with their statements and by they I mean (mitsugi). He often uses offensive dialect to talk about animes he didn’t enjoy and that just ruins the validity of the podcast for me who’s looking for a positive anime community with NON-offensive criticism however there’s always time to do better but I will no longer be listening considering “I” don’t agree with them about % of the time all in all the other hosts are cool. P.s (those of you new to anime should give this a listen however veterans I suggest moving on)
2021-03-23
17. Hello world!!! - I encountered a manga a few years ago and I for the life of me can’t remember what it was called. All I remember is that it’s not a new one but it was about these ninken clans that fought each other (?). I know that the main dog was taking his fathers place and he was in command of groups of dogs. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I’m a year old who was introduced to anime and manga in the fourth grade. The first manga I read was Yu Yu Hakusho. I watched Toonami diligently and now I’m able to watch the complete shows because of streaming. I have been able to see Naruto, Kenshin, and am working on Shippuden and watching all seasons of Bleach that are available. Of course I watch all Dragon Ball anime, mostly cause my bf is into them prior Super. I’m still watching Super anyways. I will admit that I watch Black Butler, Kamisama Kiss and I really miss Bobobobobobobo (May have put too many bobos in there! ) Cowboy bebop is my favorite along with FMA, and Space Dandy.

Listen as Shaun explores the sometimes weird, sometimes wonderful, and always hilarious world of Anime. And Remington tries to understand any of it.

Comments
1. Suggestion and Rating - Found this podcast this year and started listening from episode one just got to episode and really enjoy it. I am not sure if I can suggest an anime on a review but I kinda want to do one. There is one show that I believe Shaun would love but Remington would despise and that is Yu Yu Hakusho is an older anime but for me it has survived the test of time and it has by far one of the best tournament arcs there are. Thanks for making me laugh.
2023-03-05
2. Slanderous - The podcast was mildly amusing to listen to for a while, but I can’t continue listening after hearing Remingtons unfair criticism of my favorite anime, Attack on Titan. Remington considers himself as some sort of anime connoisseur, but in actuality he just has trash taste. He only gives positive reviews the most childish and shallow anime possible. And in reality, if he and Shaun tried to make their own anime, it would be times worse than AoT, so perhaps be a little more charitable in your reviews of other people’s work.
2023-02-14
3. Pick Hosts Wisely - Loved the concept. But Remington hates just about everything he watches, often covering up poorly conceived opinions with a boisterous laugh. Shaun comes across as a prisoner on this show — he has developed his own nervous, forced laughter that feels like a coping mechanism for being paired with a stick-in-the-mud co-host. Two stars for Shaun’s love and knowledge of anime.
2023-01-06
4. But lots of people love this anime - I really like this podcast. That said it almost always could be summed up as Remington “ Here are or concrete reasons why this show is not good”. ( usually something like jargon is not a substitute for world building, no character development, poor pacing/story telling, no plot, reliance on unfortunate tropes)
Shaun “ this is a beloved anime by many people “
Remington “ popularity does not mean good”
Shaun “ this is rated really high on MAL”
Remington “ again - popularity doesn’t mean it is good. Twilight was ranked high on many lists”
Shaun “you are breaking my heart”
Rem “ so you don’t have anything concrete to refute my criticisms?”
Shaun “ our listeners won’t be happy”
2022-12-29
5. Competent, but not the best anime podcast out there - I love the concept: a seasoned anime fan and anime newbie review shows. But the episodes are hard to listen to. My issues with it are: . In the episodes I listened to, it is harshly and almost exclusively negative about every show. Even in the most positive one (Spy x Family for God’s sake) most of the episode’s analysis was Rem saying “I don’t get what the big deal is.” I like scathing critique when called for, but when the balance is this off it gets tiresome quickly. Shaun, seems like a fun person to talk anime with, but we don’t get much of that. He too seldom pushes back or chimes in with much beyond “oh god, oh no, oh Rem!” While his cohost howls. Which leads me to… . It’s grating to listen to because one of the hosts is screeching with laughter seemingly directly into the microphone throughout the whole show. The hosts have their charms and funny moments, but this happens at every moment of even the lightest comedy. If you want some light banter about an impressive range of shows then you might consider giving it a shot. But if you’re looking for in-depth analysis or appreciation as you watch along, you should definitely look elsewhere.
2022-12-11
6. Wish I could say otherwise - I found Remington incredibly annoying, the premise was better than the execution, and frankly I’m just disappointed I did not find another anime podcast to binge. I don’t think I’ve ever been unable to finish a podcast episode before today. I genuinely didn’t enjoy any of it after part where the anime is introduced and briefly described. Good luck with your show but (to my surprise) it’s not for me.
2022-12-08
7. Fun show - So, I enjoy the show a great deal. I like that I can enjoy the shows even when they cover shows I am not interested in. Remington is definitely not your normal anime fan, and his reviews reflect it. And he criticizes things that are, in some cases, cultural differences, but totally valid concerns! I am very happy with the show!
2022-10-31
8. Far too critical - I understand the concept and its great but whats the point when the guy says nothing good about anything but focuses on the bad? It can be something objectively good and one bad thing makes a whole episode bad and in turn now a whole season was bad , it’s weird. Would appreciate pros and cons . Ranking attack on titan a in anything should be fed time . Im glad hes keeping one piece protected because that’s crazy . Some funny stuff here and there but all in all not really the best podcast if you want a genuine anime discussion.
2022-10-27
9. Only here cuz these two weebs told me to. - Love the honest takes from Rem (minus the bias). Appreciate all of the work you guys put into the show. I respect the criticism tho it does seem rem purposefully adds a few insults in there on purpose. Honestly I tend to agree with Rem on quite a few things but the things that Rem tends to nitpick or hate don’t bother me as much. I can definitely see why Rem doesn’t seem to consume a lot of media given his high standards for what he considers good content. Recommendation: Dog and Scissors. I doubt Rem would actually like the anime itself but the Mc reincarnated as a cute puppy so I figured that might level playing field a smudge.
2022-10-13
10. Wunderbar - This podcast is very funny, I love the idea of a weeb forcing someone ignorant to anime.
Some of the jokes are immensely funny and send dopamine through out the dark depths of my soul. Beware, this is only the beginning, there are much worse anime to come. There is no escape from the terror rising from the depths of the abyss…

11. Ye - My money don't jiggle, jiggle, it folds
I'd like to see you wiggle, wiggle, for sure
It makes me wanna dribble, dribble, you know
Riding in my Fiat
You really have to see it
… Six feet two in a compact
No slack but luckily the seats go back
I've got a knack to relax, in my mind
Sipping some red, red wine
… Shepherd's Bush
My compact push
Notting Hill Gate
My Fiat skates
… With a crate of Cabernet
But not today
Because I gotta drive
I wanna stay alive
… Not 'cause it's illicit
Do I have to get explicit?
As a matter of fact
I sip on the 'gnac
… With Big and Reece
diamonds in their piece
I'm trying to get mine
So I can shine
… Jiggle, jiggle
I like to see you, wiggle, wiggle
Jiggle, jiggle
I like to see you, wiggle, wiggle
… My money don't jiggle, jiggle, it folds
I'd like to see you wiggle, wiggle, for sure
It makes me wanna dribble, dribble, you know
Riding in my Fiat
You really have to see it
… Six feet two in a compact
No slack but luckily the seats go back
I've got a knack to relax, in my mind
Sipping some red, red wine
… Think that went really well, don't you?
I enjoyed it, nice being in the booth
So unless you have anything else, that's a wrap
(Jiggle, jiggle)

12. The time is nigh for my review - For those genuinely looking for a review, I love this podcast and listen whenever I have feee time (and even when I don’t ). Remington will destroy your soul at least once if you listen for any amount of time but it is still always entertaining. I love this podcast
I’ve been told that if there are new reviews by June someone gets thwacked… I vote that we thwack them both P.S. everyone request testament of the sister: new devil

1. - So when your talking about the gum gum fruit any other time we’ve seen a df being eaten which I believe is only kaku kalifa on enies lobby they named the fruit themselves. Luffy is the only time we’ve heard of someone else naming it and it was Lucky Roo who said you ate the gum gum fruit we never actually heard it from luffy until he told koby I believe but he was told by shanks crew that it was the gum gum so theoretically oda could pull a switch on the name of that fruit

2. I used to rate this podcast stars - Edit at the top: I haven’t listened to this podcast in months since I tried to switch to the official release and found Steven Paul calling Zoro, Zolo. I dropped this podcast for months tuned in for to hear other hosts reactions, and I loved that one of the hosts said jacket jacket for all of B almost immediately after I thought the same, it’s an awful show and they all deserve ‘jacket’. As far as The One Piece Podcast, just remove the ‘jacket’ that is Steven Paul and this would be a star podcast. Also checked this one due to suspicions of dubious fan translation, however the official release had all the same seemingly strange translations, as well as what seems to be an additional problem with the translation as Woman Troubles for BM... you were less believable than odd fan translations SP... that’s very very unimpressive. The passion has died. I still love One Piece, it’s my second favorite story of all time, my first favorite now being Worm by Wildbow. I feel that the modern day episodes of this podcast just don’t have the same level of excitement as, for example, the We Are (Watching One Piece) podcast. I tried to switch to the Official Release when RogersBase did, immediately got chapters with things like Zolo and Ganfor. I lost % of my respect for Steven Paul immediately and dropped One Piece for several months because I wanted to support the Official Release, but it was translated worse than the free fan translations. I hope things turn back around for y’all. Good luck! Nakama!
As far as Worm, it’s basically if Oda thought, what kind of trauma in someone’s life would turn them into a Rubber, Mochi, or Toy human symbolically. Also, the Author is pro-women and LGBTQ positive, the two things Oda just doesn’t do so well. It’s not a super hero story in pretty much the same way One Piece isn’t a superhero story, powers just further character development. Also, in the same way One Piece isn’t about swimsuits, Worm has nothing to do with Worms, the title makes sense about % of the way through.

3. Still good but not as engaging as before - It’s bound to happen when you go for this long, the quality still docent and I appreciate the variety of guests with different options and ideas, but the episodes where the four hosts and Stephen are the best. Ryan has sower the cast at time with his inflated ego on animated shows,. Dude chill it’s ok not to like something after all you guys end up not owning the writs of what you work on and the industry pays like crap. Also their discord became an eco chamber not all that great for engagement. Can believe some of the awful ideologies that some member hold (defending garbage people like antifa)

4. Question about the strongest Yonko - Hi, let me start by saying you guys, and your guests, are my one and only entertainment for my days landscaping! I listen to - episodes A DAY. Now to the question, who do you think is the weakest Yonko? In my opinion the strongest by numbers is big mom based on her connection and crazy strong family. As for weakest, Kaido. He’s drunk half the time and his army doesn’t seem as strong together as moms does. Love you guys show, keep up the hard work!
2020-06-26
5. Nerd of color - I’ve been listening to podcasts since they started and I’ve given up on many over the years, issues with the hosts comments about race being the main reason. Most people of color have to deal with a certain level of cringe in nerd media, that has never been the case with this podcast, if anything the contributors are what I wish most nerd spaces was populated with. Thoughtful, honest comments about society that are always spot on. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve brought a large chunk of One Piece fandom to the manga and anime. Thank you for the content and providing hope that the world isn’t crazy (yet)
2020-06-24
6. Best Media Podcast Out There - This podcast is leagues above any other and has set a high bar for others. They hosts and guests are extremely knowledgeable coming from multiple backgrounds and parts of various industries. Once you’ve become accustomed to the various members of the podcasts you’ll be entertained by their inside jokes and comradery. I look forward to the weekly podcast episodes as much as I do a new chapter. / recommend to any One Piece fan
2020-03-23
7. Worse than I remember - I stopped listening awhile ago but thought I’d give it another shot to see if it improved. Sorry to say but after listening to the chapter talk about it’s worse than I remember. For anyone reading this I’d recommend the paramecia podcast. They might not be amazing but they’re leagues better than this podcast.

8. The Essential One Piece Experience. - Appearing on the Show is Stephen Paul, the official translator for One Piece in Shonnen Jump. The amount of insight he adds on the show reveals details I never would have realized in the series I’m absolutely obsessed with. More than that, it’s the experience of gushing about a series that begs to be discussed if you have no outlet for that in your life. This crew of unlikely folks have gotten me through many a car ride and flight with their jokey commentary and serious introspection. They changed how I looked at my favorite series for the better convincing me to support the official release instead of inferior scanlations. Thanks for all the years OPP and here’s to many more.
2019-12-06
9. Amazing! - I’m pretty new to One Piece. I started reading last year and have just made it to Impel Down. I have struggled to find a podcast that is engaging and entertaining with the older material...until I found OPReadthrough! The Hosts are very knowledgeable and fun to listen to as I take on the task of reading chapters! Keep up the great work!!!
2019-06-19
10. Dumb politics - As far as one piece reviews go, this podcast is great. Insightful and entertaining for the most part. I would say they get around a for one piece content. Unfortunately, there are the rare occasions where some of the hosts will say something extremely ignorant about politics. For example, being supportive in any way to a group like antifa is absurd beyond belief. Groups which violently attack those they disagree with ought to be vilified in every way possible. Such evil view points don’t deserve any respect. And for these types of views being voiced out, albeit rarely, I can’t give the podcast a better rating than a .
2019-04-22
11. Required listening! - Best part of the podcast is Stephen Paul, who comes on and explains the gaps in translation, and the Japanese jokes that Oda creates. They also spend so much of their time answering our outlandish questions every week. You need to listen to this to be fully abreast of One Piece week to week.
2018-12-04
12. Great friends talking about their passion - I absolutely love this podcast. It’s a group of friends talking about their favorite manga and generous amount of other types of humor running from professional wrestling, The Simpsons, and their everyday lives. Great guest stars running from Stephen Paul the official translator, Bryan Newton an animation director from hit shows Rick and Morty and Teen Titans Go!, to the English voice actors of the anime. If you’re a fan of One Piece in any form or fashion this is the podcast for you.
2018-10-24
13. An Absolute Favorite - Been listening since The your signatures first popped up on AP, and I just realized I’ve never written a review, so I’m going to fix that. This podcast is fantastic. It’s been a part of my One Piece ritual for years now. Their discussion of the series is also fun and insightful, and even when I disagree with them on aspects of the chapter or anime episodes, I understand their points of view without issue. The best part though is their interaction with their fans, mainly through their lengthy Piece Together segments, but also at cons. They want to be a part of their community, and they put the time into it. A great group of people, a great series, and a great podcast.
2018-06-07
14. Wanted to hear more - I wasn’t wanting to hear if you liked or didn’t like parts of the chapter (which honestly just doesn’t add to the listeners experience of the series). Talk more instead about links in the story or what we learned or where it could go based on x. Please stay away from the completely void like/dislike button commentary.
2018-01-12
15. love it - i am sorta new to one piece. just over a year. i caught up in the anime last december and found the podcast. i started listening but then realized i needed to read the manga too and be caught up with that to not have any spoilers happen in the manga recap and piece together segments. i picked up the manga when Lucfy and co left Zou and i love reading the chapters every week and listening to you guys go through it. i pick up things that i may have missed or not really understood when you do this. and i love all the theories that get thrown around. listening to this podcast sitting in traffic makes me not even care i am in traffic because i am entertained :)
2017-07-27
16. Shiver me Timbers - One of the funniest and best podcast every week for One Piece fans. Especially their recaps are just too funny, so many jokes that continue to crack me up while I read the manga and after watching the anime. The Piece Together segment is also done very well and is full of inside jokes. Glad I found this podcast during the Big Mom arc, because I wouldn't want to miss out if I had joined later.
2017-05-27
17. Great Podcast, Poor Audio - First I'd like to say I love this podcast which is why I hate that I have to review it with a negative review but that's only because I genuinely love this podcast above all other ones. I listen to this podcast weekly and the only issue I find with it is the audio quality is terrible. I know these guys do it themselves and all so the effort is appreciated but the result just ruins it for me as a listener/fan. I find myself having to crank the volume up to the max just to hear what's being said. I'm not sure if it's the equipment used, software or my old age has gotten to me already but I don't have this issue with other "low" budget podcast so Im
Not sure but seriously I love the podcast because I love One Piece I just wish the quality matched the love and work that's put into each episode we get for free from this great hosts.

1. Definitely NOT clean and DEFINITELY NOT anime! - I thought it was an anime podcast, but the first mins are talking trash about some YouTuber, pedophelia, child grooming, and soliciting nudes from minors..? It’s ok because later they’re joking about girls going down on them with underwear that looks blood stained I guess. One of the guys really is into social media drama and mocking others and the other just seems to be along for the ride. They say over and over that they’re not going to spend the entire podcast on the drama, but then create new fake drama to talk about. I think they’re trying to be funny, but the audience for this is people who are really into social media drama and celebrity gossip type of stuff. If you want an anime podcast, there’s plenty to chose from, but these guys just want more subscribers to their YouTube channel to feel superior to other YouTubers.

1. Awesome - I love it! But it’s mostly mha- I’m not complaining! But if I could suggest a few other animes, that’d be great!^^ . Deathnote . Hunter x Hunter . Naruto . Fairy Tale I know you mostly do anime, but can you pleeeeaaaase do more Genshin Impact? And maybe a few Twisted Wonderland and Obey me oneshots? If you could do one Mha one as a yandere Ochako x female! Reader/listener, that’d be great!! And if you do a Deathnote one, can you start Love Note(found one wattpad)
2022-12-02
2. Good some suggestions - The podcast is good however try writing or typing a script sometimes your voice might sound shaky try practicing and stuff. And try to pronounce words better like try to find how to properly say them. And try to get someone to write for you and you say the story or you write but that’s all.
2022-05-08
3. Suggestions :D - Arigato for all the amazing episodes! I have suggestions I’m case you run out of ideas- if you don’t have it already: •Dabi you are new at u.a, and instantly become friends with todoroki.. so then todoroki finally descides to tell you about his VILLAN brother, who you feel disgusted with until you meet •hawks you heard all about the winged hero from your best friend midoria, (who will talk about hawks all day) and you kind of start to like the guy- but then one day hawks comes to U.A to tell everyone about his quirk and some tips about being a hero •toga in this idea you are a VILLAN working for the lov, and toga is your female crush, so then you get kind of jealous when she pays attention to midoria all the time.. you tell her that you like her, she looks confused for half a second, but then starts laughing. She thinks your playing a prank on her •todoroki and Bakugo todoroki randomly walks up to you one day in the middle of class (which was chaotic as usual) and hand you a bowl of cold soba saying “I like you more than you think.. do you want to go get some ice cream or something?” The entire room gets deadly silent as they await your awenser.

4. Amazing! but here are some suggestions... - ————————————————————
We need for girls x listeners, Toga is my fav MHA character and I would love if we got a Toga x listener.
————————————————————
Dinner dates. Character x listener dinner dates. Example: Bakugo x listener dinner date at a local restaurant. ————————————————————
Lastly, a few series episodes, like Tsuyu x listener lake house summer vacation. ———————————————————— Thank you! (Btw love the podcast icon w)

A podcast about the web comic Lore Olympus by two people who have no qualifications but a lot of feelings.
Release date: 2023-02-20
Comments
1. My favorite thirsty LO fan girls! - I LOVE listening to their commentary. They point out SO many things I didn’t notice the first (or second) time I read Lore Olympus. These two are often thoughtful, pointing out symbolism and parallels to other points in the story as well as adding in facts from historical mythology for us to appreciate. They also crack me up with the silly and lascivious comments as well. It’s perfect entertainment to help Lore Olympus fan survive the wait until the next episode and then chat about them once they are published. Thank you!
2023-02-21
2. So much fun! - I adore this podcast. Erin and Zoey are just a delight to listen to! I’ve been binging from the beginning and almost caught up. It has been fun to revisit Lore Olympus with them and I can’t wait to get current with them. They have a fun take and fill us in on character backgrounds from original mythology. Plus, they make frequent musical theater references that I am here for! When I listen walking to my office from the parking garage, I have a smile the entire time, people probably think I’m crazy and I could not care less. This is a podcast that will always brighten your day, they even make the rough topics tolerable. Definitely worth a listen, especially if you like Lore Olympus and musicals

3. New Year, New Star I-Tunes Review - I would love to write witty or clever review, but I’m just not that creative. You two and this podcast are an absolute delight! I adore the varied levels of analysis and thirsty humor. The Patreon is the my favorite gift I give myself every month - the Outtakes and Bonus Ups are top tier.
2023-01-09
4. I LOVE THIS PODCAST - Hello! I don’t use Apple Podcasts but I had to leave a review because this podcast is just so good!! It unlocked so many layers of Lore Olympus I never recognized before, and the hilarity Zoe and Erin add to it with their references and jokes is amazing (my favorite bit is about their lack of knowledge on the Bee Movie). As a musical theatre person, I’m OBSESSED with the constant musical references, and I have two I’d like to add! : the fact that “My Unfortunate Erection” from th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee hasn’t been referenced yet stuns me to this day, and : I find that Persephone and Demeters relationship is a lot like “I Remember How Those Boys Could Dance” from Carrie: The Musical. Anyways, I love this podcast so much and every person should listen to it.
2022-12-29
5. comfort millenials - i am loyal to this podcast like no other, zoey and erin are my comfort millennials and they always provide i will laugh, i will recognize musicals i didn't know i knew, i will indulge in bits i don't think should ever come to fruition
i'm writing this during finals week where my brain is dripping out of my ears and nothing will bring me back to sanity like this podcast, truly my lifeline rn
/ great work, worth a cult following honestly

6. I just got my Spotify year in Review and wow - It is safe to say this podcast is absolutely amazing and I have numbers to prove it. In according to my Spotify year in review I have listened to , minutes listening to podcasts. Of that total I have spent , minutes listening to Lore Olympod. While that may not seem like a lot over a year, I started listening in August. In months I sunk , minutes of my life into this AMAZING podcast. Thank you ladies
2022-12-01
7. , minutes - I’ve been an avid fan for quite a while but this is my first review, prompted by todays Spotify wrapped release. This is my top podcast for with a total of , MINUTES listened I figured that deserved five stars!! Y’all feel like friends and I love the shenanigans, can’t wait for more in ! Also if anyone hasn’t subscribed to the patreon I totally recommend it, it’s worth all four () quarters
2022-11-30
8. I am DYING waiting for the next episode! - I’ve recently finished binging LoreOlympod for the second time this year and caught back up just in time to find out I have to wait a whole week for your reaction to Hypnos’s opinion on Persephone’s tree. As soon as I saw that panel I knew you’d have a hayday with it and am soooo excited for the screaming to commence hahahaha! That being said, absolutely love the podcast. It’s full of sass, screams, and side quests.
2022-11-17
9. A but also thanks for graduating past Artemis hate - I just found this show and absolutely love it! It’s been a great way to replay the series and get great commentary while I’m at work. Both of them are so relatable and quirky to me; probably because we are in the same age bracket definitely a star show. However I would not have considered it god tier entertainment if they hadn’t come around to Artemis’s perspective. Since I was listening to episode one after already reading to chapter I’ll give some grace, but I was pretty put out by their original takes on Artemis. I finally realized it was because Artemis comes off as neurodivergent like me, so almost none of her actions in season one read as wrong to me, just tragic that she couldn’t see the problem. Likely because I would have done similar things and made similar mistakes. It really lifted my spirits to see them turn around their opinion is season because honestly Artemis there to save Persephone from the house of debauchery is also % my energy. But the bright side is their original opinion about Artemis made me reflect on why I didn’t see anything wrong and made me realize all of this and how amazing Rachel Smyth is at writing complex characters including neurodivergent characters where that isn’t their whole identity.
TLDR: A podcast and Artemis is an ADHD baby, fight me.

10. THE PATREON IS WPRTH IT - It is am, hours through a hour shift and I am tHRIVING because of all of the content I get to go through. The musical references and werewolf erotica are so hilarious not to mention they are hardcore LO fans. I’m talking DEEP DIVES people, they over analyze and I LOVE IT. TLDR: it’s great
2022-11-02
11. i will keep writing star itunes reviews until the world implodes - i feel like you guys missed a crucial “the proposal” reference (a scene that lives rent free in my mind) in ep when demeter says “why are you wet?” but otherwise you guys are the greatest and i literally listen to this at the gym when i’m trying not to die when doing my cardio
2022-10-31
12. You will get used to their laughs and extra noises - They are your equally nerdy friends obsessed with a WEBTOON. Any negative reviews need to look in the mirror. I’m obsessed and happy to find others equally obsessed people. Love all the singing and the sass. Keep doing what y’all are doing. I finished all the available episodes over the course of a week
2022-10-19
13. The Kinda Sad One - I’ve been listening to Lore Olympod for over two years now, which is crazy because I have the attention span of half a squirrel. I’m the same age as these two amazing idiots-said with so much love- and it feels like I’m sitting at a friend’s house just hanging out and talking. I lost my Dad in and it was the most I could do just to open my eyes every day and this podcast was the only thing that could make me smile for months. I even laughed! It was a great break from my sad reality. The little bits of the podcast, arguing over the qualities of the number , the anxiety of Sam making a phone call for work, the Exceptional Halloween costumes. Those are what really make it shine for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love Lore Olympus but I think I love these two even more. I hope once the comic ends they find another thing to podcast about. Musicals, politics, Disney movies, other WEBTOONs, anything. Happy weekending to you both, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my life bearable in my most difficult days.
2022-10-07
14. Stars for Z & E - I have been listening for a while… two months because I had to go to a laundromat because reasons. Long story long, every Sunday I am binging as many Olympod episodes as possible until I catch up. This podcast is hilarious and will have you adding your own commentary… out loud in public (oops). If you like Lore Olympus, Broadway references, cute animals and side stories, this is the pod for you.
2022-09-11
15. Screaming into the void - I quickly became obsessed with LO and desperately needed people to talk (read: foam at the mouth and yell) with about the show and hear others opinions about everything and this podcast gave me that!! Thank you Erin and Zoey for showing yalls feral fan girl side and helping me find a community where I could unleash mine
2022-09-06
16. Does your one brain cell need a break? - Then this is the podcast for you. Zoey and Erin do all the research and inferencing for you, so your brain cell can focus on more important things, like how many quarters make up a dollar, what qualifies as a belt and the practical need for fashion tape, and whether or not you got a coffe grinder in your subscription box this month. Listening to Lore Olympod in conjunction to the Lore Olympus webcomic is the only way to get the full understanding of the story.

17. Makes my day - Truly, I found this podcast like a week ago and have already made it through about episodes. I really wanted to say—episode started this morning and I started laughing really hard because the duo says not to operate heavy machinery. I listen to podcasts on the job, while typically using heavy equipment like I did today. You guys make me laugh on the regular and I really appreciate being able to fan-person over this wonderful comic.
2022-08-09
18. Thank you - I had to get iTunes just to write this but I just wanted to say this podcast brings me so much joy, I’m high key obsessed. I realized I couldn’t read while I was at work but boy can I listen. I just started listening a few days ago so I don’t know who is who but I thank you for blessing my ears

1. Amazing for old arcs, but unorganized and sloppy in current - Awesome for catching up and getting perspectives from other virgins without getting spoiled. Now that we’re all caught up, it’s a lot more unorganized and bounce around too much, even though they’re covering way less chapters. Lots of details get confused too. Love the guys, they just gotta tighten up and structure the recap more.
2021-12-08
2. Love it - So I finish one piece or at least the English dubbed part and I want to see somebody react to it but than I fin this podcast I think it will be a good podcast so I listen to it an ho do I find Nux taku and I mean I love this guy he is my favorite YouTube and I watch all his vids and it’s amazing to see nix talking about one piece and this is my new favorite podcast thank you for making this it’s amazing.
2021-11-15
3. Love it - I love the podcast with all of the laughs and spoilers but I don’t even understand them because my parents won’t allow me to watch anything anime related anymore but I just keep listening because I have nothing else better to do but each episode always makes my day better, even with not understanding them anymore.
2021-09-28
4. Enjoyable podcast, poor cohost - I’m just starting this podcast, but it really feels like this Knucks person truly doesn’t respect the concept of the show. He just keeps screaming over the hosts and anyone else trying to have a conversation, and just continues to vomit out spoilers. I’m sure he’s fine to talk to, but he’s rude and that’s what makes him annoying.
2021-06-17
5. The One Piece Virgin Virgin - Found this show randomly while looking for podcast to listen to at work and was instantly addicted. I’m caught up with the anime and manga and to go back and hear all this info and lore from beginning to end has been amazing. Nux & Briggs and the guests are hilarious and informing especially the living One Piece encyclopedia Tekking, really think you guys should replace animac with a different virgin because his incessant whining about being interrupted and people going off topic is mad annoying. The rants, Nux’s comedy, and everyone else make this show highly entertaining and animac just gives me a nagging headache but other than animac’s presence on the show this show is GOLD.

6. I love it but... - This is perfect! I read all of One Piece in months and just found this pod after I caught up to ! It’s a great fix for a OP addict who just wants more content lol. It was crazy to find that all the people on this pod are youtubers i follow... except for Nux. Man, Nux is corny. He messes up the flow of the conversation. I’m sure he has some good things to say, I just wish he had a better understanding of when he should say his jokes. I wish Nux could go to a stand up or improv class so he can learn better timing because right now, it’s like he’s the whitest person on the dance floor.
2021-04-29
7. Nux and Brigs - Ok so those Words mean everything to me nux and brigs are the franky and brook to me, Brook the energetic type that brigs is and NUX IS FRANKY THE ABSOLUTE CHAD AND EVEN THO WE MAY BE IN THOUGH TIMES NUX THROUGHS A MEME OR TWO PUT THERE BUT FRANKY SPREADS THEM CHEEKS AND SAYS SUPERRRRR
2021-04-25
8. Things didn’t go as plan and I blame my savior animac - Just picture it’s a normal Tuesday evening and you’re sitting there eating a bowl of fruity pebbles when you discover... one of the best podcasts ever!!! I hadn’t plan on rewatching one piece a third time until it was mostly done (bout -%) but this podcast made me dive right back in and now I’m watching along with the podcast... but more binging both. Love you guys, gotta thank the legend Ragnar Briggs because I found this while listening to one piece dnd which is another legendary podcast... frankly I think Briggs is secretly the one piece!!
2021-02-19
9. Nobody understands Zoro - Love the podcast and trying to catch up on all the episodes but as a long time OP fan I can’t tolerate this Zoro disrespect. He’s the only one of them to go toe to toe with an Admiral and not get demolished but Sanji gets all the love. And after NOTHING HAPPENED we see why he’s the first mate. Love the podcast but put some respect on my dudes name.
2021-02-02
10. The truth - Hey guys this show is amazing I popped One Piece of my cherry this year. With the gusto of Nux I have now caught up watching the anime for the second time! And now I am restarting once again in true mad-lad fashion. Except this time I am reading the manga. This is my first manga and you guys help keep my insane hobby fresh. So thank you thank you thank you. Luffy would stan Wolverine
2020-12-03
11. Fun podcast with room for improvement - The podcast is a lot of fun for new and old fans of One Piece and the hosts bring in fun and passionate guests every week. The amount of interrupting by Nux and the complete derailing by Animak if someone talks at the same time as him does hurt the flow of the conversation significantly at times. If Nux could try to avoid talking over others and Animak could be a bit more understanding of audio delays and the dynamic of person conversations it would improve my listening experience to stars.
2020-11-04
12. NUX!! AND BRIGGS!! and animak feat. other people - this is such a good podcast I can finally hear you guys just talking about each arks, without restrictions. I could listen to you guys talk about one piece all day, and its so nice to have such a variety of personalities. with nux for the comedy, animak for the incredible analysis, and briggs for the chill atmosphere and chadness.
2020-10-17
13. Got me into one piece - I love this podcast it got me into the one piece manga i only just finished alabasta today but i am catching up with the podcast and i enjoy hearing the opinions you all have about the manga as veterans in the series i know if this is read i wont hear it for a while but i will catch up someday

1. Vinny review - Good show and he does back up his claims with manga and anime to support him. However he should NOT spend time making relationship or ship videos because most of the anime he talks about is a adventure, horror, or fighting anime/manga not romance so the episode about Aoi and Innosuke video was bad. STOP DOING RELATIONSHIP VIDEOS

1. Disgusting ads. Animak spelled with a Louie CK needs to piss off - “Gig speed guaranteed... Gig speed not guaranteed.” The ads for this podcast lie and are despicable. Where’s the heart? Not here despite the logo. Bugger off! I’d up this podcast to stars if they got rid of sexistmak, Get rid of him and the garbage ads and I’d give it - stars

2. Hello there. - I’m happy that Truck-Chan is the new cohost. Rant Cafe has become the podcast that makes my week better. I’m enjoying the new format of just talking to the guest and asking them what they wanna talk about. I will miss Nux but i will not miss nearly loosing my voice every other episode. It was because of Nux that I had heard about Rant Cafe. I still remember when Nux read my review for the first time and how over joyed I was. I still don’t remember how I found Nux’s YouTube channel. Have a good day! Until next time, see ya space cowboys! bang
2023-01-09
3. Not the same - This used to be good I remember listening to them on YouTube when they was doing their tournament brackets. But now it’s just not the same they get sidetracked a lot talking about other things. When I click on a episode and I’m expecting to hear them talk about upcoming anime and give their honest opinion on it but they just talk about Rick and Morty then talk only about or anime. Honestly I don’t think they have the passion to do this anymore you can hear it in theirs voices.
2022-10-17
4. Used to be good - A once good podcast that has morphed into an interview channel for Vtubers nobodys heard of or cares about. Nux barely shows up, Animac just shills his channel and other podcasts times an episode and Briggs is just here so he can raid his own Twitch channel at the end of every episode.
2022-09-03
5. Stars Lord Twiggo approves - I’ve learned from listening to this podcast that I don’t actually need food and water to live, I can can be kept alive by simply listening to Nux say fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. Keep up the good work; Nux, the ultimate jester, briggo the ultimate chad, and animaq the ultimate philosiphiser. Stay weird my dudes P.S. Gurren Lagann is the greatest anime of all time and that’s an objective fact.
2022-05-24
6. The Day This Podcast Died - featuring Lost Pause. September . The episode Lost Pause was on. It was the last episode I cared about. The content went downhill since. I stopped liking Briggs a few episodes before September, and I started hating Nux around , maybe before that. I truly think he’s a waste of space. I think One Piece is amazing, but even that isn’t common ground enough for me to listen to anything that comes out of Rant Café anymore.
2022-02-15
7. DO THE EPISODE WITH TWISTED-DOCTOR! - How about I can request you an episode to do an interview with my favorite artist, TWISTED-DOCTOR (A.K.A. Skrill, Jeremy or Bones, whatever you can call him...) when you can talk to him about his artwork, his characters and some random stuff about anime, waifus/husbandos and shipping (like yaoi and yuri)? That’ll be a good idea when I can hear Skrill’s voice for an interview as a new episode for your podcast!

8. I love this podcast - I listen to this at work ive literally just started fairly recently and catching up to this podcast is like watch one piece but so far imin love it and i enjoy even though half the episode r outdated but i still enjoy them idk if u read comments still but if u read this then thanks maybe i’ll catch up and hear my comment read one day

9. I like trains!! Baka! Nani! Twiggo?! - I’ve been listening to your podcast for a few weeks now. I usually listen to about episodes a day. it lights up my day and helps me forget about all the crap I’m going through, and I really appreciate you guys. you guys make me laugh and smile and I just love nerding out about anime. keep giving us that glorious content RantaCluas.I’m literally just listening to this podcast, working and sleeping.P. S. Would love to be a guest on one of your shows or the after parties!!!!!!
2021-09-18
10. My name is Truman and this podcast makes me lol (laugh out loud) - This podcast is my current favorite anime to listen to during work. I love the chemistry betwixt the three main characters. This podcast makes my days at work go by so fast and I want to thank y’all for that. Anyway please do a ranking the best fight in each show series I would enjoy that and I think a lot of other people would as well. Ps: i wrote this with lord knuckanors voice reading it as I’m writing it in my head. Pps: Fullu Metalu Alchemistu Brotherhoodu thank you
2021-08-04
11. Please watch Gundam - I have really enjoyed listening to your conversations and have both agreed on various levels and disagreed on various levels with Animak, Briggs, and (infrequently) Lord Nuxanor; as well as the quests. I think you three would enjoy viewing Mobile Suit Gundam if you each haven’t already, especially Animak and Nux. That is not to say that Briggo won’t, I’m often surprised by his takes. The show goes deep into personal philosophies as well as major political dilemmas. Great characters (Briggs), great story (Nux), great political philosophy and relatablility (Animak). was formative for me in high school along with Code Geass and FMA (and Brotherhood/Bruduhudo). Thank you for reading this and for Christ’s sake Nux, watch some Ghibli films Nausicaa and Mononoke first please :)

12. I’m sorry - Love The podcast with all the mad chaos and Brigg brains Judy gotta tho was gonna give power stone to the light novel but I can’t it’s at because funny number also I think Evans more of a nami than Briggs because Briggs is a mad chad. Also my keyboard changed to ducking Tagalog on the other review so rip
2020-10-13
13. No One Understands Digimon and Magi - Love these podcasts, but it lost two stars for me because Digimon and Magi always do poorly in the tournament arcs. Digimon and Magi deserve to go up against each other in best shounen anime. Would have gotten star if Digimon didn’t win best Issekai like it freaking deserves. Nux is always right with every decision in the tournaments and everyone else is a Pleb
2020-10-08
14. Keijo!!!!!!! Ft. Megumin - This review is going to be a bit long so hopefully it’ll be read. I decided to listen to every episode available on Apple and feel down knowing I’ll have to now wait weekly. I listen to you guys every day at work and you guys make the hard times easier. My favorite guests are Noble with his Venice Beach accent, that laugh if genuine AF. Evanit is a living meme and I hope his favorite scene in all of cinema is in Cabin In The Woods where we can see the love of his life, the mermaid. Stop fapping to her Evan! I live in LA so if I ever run into you I’ll take you out to some mariscos (Mexican seafood). And the one special guest to stand above all HidingInPublic, with that dry humor and sarcasm that doesn’t change with the tone of his voice. It’s always gamer time when Hiding is around. Now on to the main cast. Briggs I’m happy to tell you that I’ve got my gf into one piece. I didn’t fall in love with the series and had to power through until episode where Luffy gives Vivi a health dose of equality and he talks about war. Being a vet that really hit home for me. My gf loved it by episode . I’m waiting on her to catch up to me now. She’s in Skypia while I’m in the war games. 16. Kirito is better than guts - Hello, it is I the fish simp Evanit. Everyone please subscribe to Belize daily news, and go to my twitter @Evanito and reply to my tweets with FishSimp. That would make my day. Also please buy Nux Taku a Ps, and pick up animak merch at animeuproar.com. Finally I think kirito is better than guts here it why. He he never had had to cut off his arm to save his friends, he was strong enough to save them without doing that. He was so nice to his friends, that none of them turned evil and created a whole kingdom that worships them. Kirito doesn’t need the berserk armour to save his friends because he can do it without killing himself. And finally he is a better black swordsman because when he lost his arm he still had his harem, while Rickert gave him a new arm and told him to go away

1. An ode to Believe It! - Twas the year and nobody was sadder than me in my bedroom with not a soul to share laughter, my obsession with Naruto was at an unhealthy high when I saw a podcast on Spotify I decided to try. I listened for hours and hours on end I laughed when they laughed and made a podcast host friend and finally my money came it was time to make it real, I typed in my card zip code and email. Once in the discord my time was surreal but as the prince of all idiots was not popular for me zeal but some kind elder hosts descended to my dms and they correct my behavior and I became a discord friend. 1. Same as every other podcast - Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. A pair of folks decide they want to make an income from being Content Creators. So they come up
with a premise that should take years to cover (and this lead to years of Patreon money). At no point do they ask themselves whether it’s a good idea to commit themselves to a weekly podcast covering the same topic for so long. Like every other podcaster, they think themselves immune to burnout, or that the topic in question will never not be engaging. But eventually reality kicks in. They get burnt out, or in this case, they find a Gundam film that they don’t particularly care for (while also sounding a little burnt out). The quality takes a nosedive, but since they’ve captured an audience (and possibly established parasocial relationships with their Patrons), they’ll continue to coast along for years despite no one really being happy with the output of the show. The only saving grace is that this time I was able to cut bait and walk away before it got worse. (Ps - I also find that Tom is way too overbearing, and too often speaks for himself and Nina. I find her observations much more interesting)

2. My Current Favorite Podcast - I have enjoyed so many hours re-watching Gundam along with this podcast. So much love, passion, dedication, and research clearly has gone into this. It's given me a new appreciation of the franchise. Nina and Thom come off as clever, kind, creative, and funny. I love MSB!

3. Favorite podcast, hands-down. - Recently / randomly stumbled across Mobile Suit Breakdown, a little over episodes in now and re-watching the original MSG alongside each. I’m…beyond obsessed. Mobile Suit Breakdown goes through the Gundam franchise in the order things were created (I’m finishing the episodes covering the original Mobile Suit Gundam from , while I believe they just wrapped CCA), with each podcast episode being dedicated to a single episode of the anime. Hosts Nina and Thom are incredibly likable, funny, intelligent, light-hearted, and pull off one heck of a show with each and every episode. While Gundam can be absolutely ridiculous (and, they have no problem acknowledging that / poking fun at things - as we all should), good lord do they take their research SO seriously and turn it all into an immensely entertaining and informative listen. Everything from behind the scenes info, fan theories, researching past interviews from the creators, looking at the directors and/or teams of animators and their own personal backgrounds, correlating events of each episode to moments across history and the state of Japan at the time, in addition to just chatting and going in-depth about the base plot of every episode…it’s all there. …and more. They represent the best of any fandom I’ve ever seen, give great insight from the viewpoint of one longtime fan vs one brand new to everything Gundam, are both so genuine in their own passion and enthusiasm for discussion / breaking things down, and are able to keep things super inclusive with zero gatekeeping…all while still being crazily detailed. I originally found Gundam via Toonami and Gundam Wing like many others during the early ’s, been a big fan ever since but was terrible about keeping up with all the various series over the years - that is, until the th anniversary not too long ago. Since then, I’ve tracked down every blu-ray and caught up on so many good entries I had never seen before, replayed a ton of the games, bought and built gunpla of all my favorite suits…and it’s been a huge wonderful nerdy resurgence in my life. This podcast is quite possibly my favorite “find” and experience across all my recent Gundam-ing, a phenomenal companion piece to the shows, and I truly can’t say enough great things about it. If you have ANY interest whatsoever in Gundam, anime, Japanese history, pop culture, how all those things relate to / tie into each other, or just insanely well-researched and fun podcasts in general…don’t hesitate to give this a shot. All the best, looking forward to catching up over maaaany more episodes.

4. The BEST Gundam podcast - I have been watching anime for decades but I’m absolutely new to Gundam. After finishing the original series and Zeta Gundam, I looked for a podcast to support my burgeoning fandom. After listen to a quite a few different pods, I have found this one to be both funny, revelatory and interesting in each episode. Nina an Thom do grounded research that points out some interesting things about the time and place of Gundam’s creation for each episode. This is fun and the hosts are endearing. Check it out for sure.

5. Gundam breakdown - Nina and Tom are awesome!! I’ve been watching along and listening to the podcast. It’s nice to get filling information that you would miss with subtitles. It’s been a few day and still in the early episodes but I’m hooked. Thanks guys for the great podcast and the insight I need on one of my favorite shows. Thanks again

6. This is the Gundam podcast I wish I’d made! - I discovered the podcast just a few days ago and listened to the first six episodes. The depth and breadth of analysis in each episode really fleshes out the world of Gundam and puts its production into a real-world context. For any fans of Gundam, anime, science fiction, or pop culture history, this is a must-listen.

7. A Podcast Made of Stars - I started my own journey in to watch all of the Gundam properties (not in any particular order) and discovered this podcast out of curiosity. I too have binged through S and am now halfway through S and thoroughly enjoy this podcast. Thom and Nina are excellent writers and thoughtful in their analysis and opinions, as well as excellent researchers. I only wish I found this podcast sooner but later is better than never. As an aside, TNN is such a great bit, it’s “New York” not “New Yark” and SEED is best Gundam don’t @ me.

8. Everything I could ever want in a Gundam podcast - I discovered this podcast a month ago and have binged halfway through to the zeta season so far. I am so addicted I cannot do a chore or task without a bud in my ear to listen to Nina and Tom break down my eternal favorite franchise in increasing depth. As a “UC or die” fan, I cannot wait for the future. Cheers guys, y’all are doing the newtype God’s work.

9. The most in-depth Gundam podcast. - Nina and Thom are unparalleled in the depth of their reading and the breadth of their research, plus they’re extremely cool and funny. As I write this, I’m finishing up the Zeta coverage, and I have learned so much in two seasons. I’m very excited to keep learning as the show continues.

10. This is beautiful content - This podcast easily caters to my love of Gundam, History, Psychology, early animation and its influences, world culture, Mythology and more! I greatly appreciate the recap, discussion, and in-depth research of the various real life influences that may have helped shape what is GUNDAM. Both podcasters have wonderful humor but handle every subject with respect and understanding to their best and exhausted knowledge. Thank you, to you and your guests!

11. Makes for a great listen - I have had the fortune of paying attention to Adam @ USA GUNDAM, on one of the streams he mentioned this podcast. I have not listened to anything else on my apple podcast app since. So now I have YouTube gundam and podcasting to keep me entertained while building Gunpla. Plus the real world parallels are very enlightening making it more than just a show about the anime which would be great for just that, but really breaking down episodes in such a way truly makes it a real podcast that happens to include Gundam and it’s real world implications.

12. A stellar guide through the Gundam franchise - I've never had a podcast so thoroughly surpass my expectations. Ran across this and, having dipped my toe in the franchise, I thought it'd be nice to finally sit down and watch it with a companion show to get a little review of the episodes as I went. Not only are they sharp insightful viewers, always highlighting things I missed from short bits to overarching themes, they knock it out of the park with their research! I've learned so many amazing things, from details behind the show's production to the cultural context of the content to the obscure inspirations for what's come up, like moving lakes and ballutes. Nina & Thom are also just all-around good people with good takes, giving the show great energy and co-hosting chemistry. On a technical level, it's consistently strong and keeps raising its own bar for quality. I'd never have guessed they were two new podcasters making it all on their own. Seriously, I can't praise or recommend this podcast enough. I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of the franchise with the show over the coming years.

13. A podcast for everyone! - Are you a new gundam fan ? An old one ? you have no interest at all in gundam but would like to listen to two people dissect and discuss an anime and its relation to Japanese/world historical events \- astrophysics in almost ASMR fashion ? Are you just looking for something VERY GOOD to listen to ? Well you’re in the right place ! Big fan all the way from Kuwait !

14. High quality veg - This podcast is for the gundam fan that wants an informative but simultaneously entertaining experience. This podcast is akin to a high quality vegetarian entree at a fancy restaurant. Filling but not too heavy and has you leaving the table feeling energized and ready for dessert instead of feeling full and bloated.
Highly recommended.

15. Extremely high effort podcast - This is not a people giggling with their friend podcast. Each episode has background research put into it and Nina and the guy really care about giving a high quality podcast. Even like the audio engineering is top notch. They are New York City liberals so they focus a lot of the podcast on like a feminist critique of the show. Which is ok but gets a bit repetitive. Also especially in the later season the guy has this obsession with who wrote every episode. Which is very inside baseball and pretty irrelevant but for some reason he goes over the writer every episode. They also give a long episode recap, which like I saw the show so why do I need to listen to a minute recap of a minute show? I get a short recap, but to long. They have been doing these skits. That are like what if Kate McKinnon had to make skits based off zeta Gundam. I wouldn’t say they are bangers but I appreciate the effort. They also have a heavy research segment at the end of the episode which without fail they seem To pick a topic that is completely uninteresting that I stopped listening to a long time ago. For like npr listeners who also like Gundam I think you would like it. For real America, like the section in the middle of the podcast where they actually give their hot takes is ok.

16. A Master’s Class on World History - This is one of the best podcasts I ever listened to. Come for the Gundam episode review but stay for the well researched cultural, historical or political events that helped shape the show. Never dry, always breezy and thoughtful, just an increadible podcast production.

17. Loving the show! - Found out about this show a few months back and kinda ignored it. But I recently decided to rewatch Mobile Suit Gundam and have to say that listening to your show afterwards has been a delight. The fact that you two not only breakdown each episode but give interesting historical context and real world details to add to each episode. Really loving the show and keep up the amazing work.

18. I learned something today - Do you like Gundam? Do you like behind the scenes history of important pieces of genre-defining entertainment? Are you interested in the surprisingly complex history of the socio-political ramifications of repatriated coffee farmers? Then do I have a podcast for you! This show is fantastic, and as a long-time Gundam fan it has me seeing and appreciating the franchise in a whole new light. Lots of deep dives into historical and cultural touchstones that either shaped Gundam or have come to reflect it. Tremendous fun, it’s just a shame I’ll probably have to wait like years before they get to th MS Team.

1. - I am a big fan of this because I love two episodes before my favorite OK KO was my favorite aunt star in the forces of evil, I loved OK KO, because it was an action show I loved star and the forces of evil, because it was a romance between an alien girl from a planet name I can’t spell it right, but it was about a girl who is from another planet, and a boy named Marco Diaz, and a girl named star butterfly. They all had challenges to face, and at the end of the show, they both fell in love and what I loved about OK KO let’s be heroes was that it was a coming of age show about a kid who want to be a hero and he became a hero because he saved many lives leveled up with his power card and what I was really sad about about this podcast that it didn’t have books in it I really wanted to hear a episode about dog man or at least cat kid or captain underpants, but that is the reason I love this podcast if you read my review please make a episode about the book dog man

6. Very entertaining! - I stumbled on to this podcast around or years ago and always enjoy listening to Joe and Chris. I don’t listen to every single episode, mostly just the ones where they talk about shows I watched growing up. Occasionally I’ll check something out just out of curiosity or if they mention it during the show.(i.e. the whole Sawboss thing. I can’t remember the name of that show) I enjoy and relate to their humor and am always put in a good mood whilst listening. Keep up the good work fellas. By the way, I suggested Garfield and friends a few years back and would like to throw a suggestion in for The Critic.

7. HUGE bowls of podcast cereals - I am actually a kid, But I found this podcast and was curious, and I have not regretted it, I have started watching the shows you do, However, if I had one gripe, is that they stoped doing a episode a week and now a episode every weeks. As for suggestions, I would like to suggest The amazing world of Gumball, I want you guys to watch the episode “The master.” Thank you guys for (hopefully) reading this!-Anypizzaprez (my real review name) P.s I may know whoKenneth Chisholm is

8. Great podcast - Hey guys, love the pod. Thanks for showing me what a dumb kid I was by pointing out the flaws and giant plot holes in some of my favorite childhood cartoons. Also, young Chris sounds like he ate a lot of paste as a kid. It would be much appreciated if you would someday do a review of Archer. Thanks!!

9. The Return of Sawboss - I know this is kind of cheating, but it’s not an edited review. Over time I had to get a new Apple ID, so you get a second five star review. I once again thank you for all the time and energy you put into these episodes. Also thanks for doing my jayce and the wheeled warriors episode. I have two more suggestions for you both. Stunt Dawgs The Bots Master You keep making them, I’ll keep listening. Your friend Brodie The Sawboss

10. Great podcast to have on my playlist for work! - As a relatively new listener, I stumbled onto this podcast while searching for discussions about Trollhunters and I'd been having difficulty finding a review podcast that I liked enough to continue listening to until I found this one! The discussions that Joseph and Chris have are entertaining, interesting and well-rounded; they're both very good at picking out and analyzing details in the episodes they watch, and are fair in pointing out both the positives and negatives. Their sense of humor is also appreciated and has provided me with a few much needed laughs over some particularly rough shifts. Speaking of which, aside from getting a good laugh out of the Captain N episode, that one made me wonder if the guys might enjoy an anime series from called "Re:Creators." It comes with a similar if reversed premise of fictional worlds colliding as characters from various genres manifest in the real world, but with thoughtful writing, great designs, amazing music, and lovely animation. Even if it doesn't make the cut for the podcast, consider it a rec for the fun of it!

11. I value your opinion - I absolutely felt mislead about the MOTUR series. As I grew up on He-Man as a kid. I’ve sat down and watched it and tried to stay unbiased about the show. However, the show wasn’t to bad. Although, I do hope for future episodes there is a little more He-man for us the nostalgia based watchers. Great review!

12. Nostalgia on blast - If you like cartoons, even if it's one show, this podcast is worth it. They actually take listener request and talk genunly about them. It helped me remember some shows I had totally forgotten about. Speaking of which, I'd like to recommend Radiant with either episode To Stop the sound of the wind, Drops of friendship or A Paradise of Wisdom and Hope -Artemis- Keep up the amazing work Joe and Mustard King Smoking White Castle Fleef Shloop Bikini Kiss David "Kangaroo Jack" Angel Chris Papa Smurf waits

13. A great podcast - Hey guys! Artofanadventurer here, but you guys can just call me Lexa! Smcb podcast is the best cartoon podcast I’ve listened to so far, it’s the most well put together, mostly clean, and has the best episode review system I've heard so far. So thanks for a great, entertaining podcast. I do have a suggestion though, I think it would be great if you guys could implement random number generators, taking turns picking numbers (like if Joseph picks and Chris picks then you review whatever is at or for a three digit number just continue the pattern to get like ), and other creative or silly ways to pick the next show, alongside the current top and bottom of the list picks! P.S. I really liked the Jacob Two Two episode and I was really happy that you guys seemed to enjoy reviewing it! Also there are even crazier jump the shark episodes than what y’all saw! I was also happy that my favorite character, Mr. Dinglebat, was Chris's favorite too!

14. You guys are awesome - You guys are awesome for reviewing all of these cartoons if you remember that I recommend you guys to watch clerks the animated series well I have another recommendation and that is THE BATMAN from WB kids around the year it had great character designs and amazing storylines my opinion is that this is the rd best Batman animated series behind the original Batman the animated series and Batman beyond thank you guys and keep up the great work

15. Yay - As an early ’s baby I went in knowing maybe or of the cartoons talked about but I have added so many new ones to my repertoire. From street sharks to your name each cartoon is so entertaining to hear about and i still torture my friends with turbo teen to this day. My inner kid would give this five bowls of lava Jesus cereal out of five. Keep up the good work.

16. Remember me? - Remember me? You probably don’t. I wrote two other star reviews that you won’t be able to find. I edited my last review and replaced it with this one and I’m here to recommend something that I would like you to watch. It is called….. Pretty Cure. It is one of Toei Animations biggest franchises and one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, magical girl franchises in Japan. There are several from you to choose from but only of them available to watch on Crunchyroll. The other ones? Let’s just say that they are elsewhere and are not that hard to find. I personally recommend Go Princess! Precure, Heartcatch Precure, or Smile Precure. DO NOT WATCH GLITTER FORCE! (an inaccurate dub of Smile) You have been warned. Remember my name because I’ll be back… eventually.

17. An Oasis for Cartoon Lovers - I love this show. It’s like an oasis for fans of cartoons like me. I’m almost and I still love to explore the world of family-friendly animation. So it’s refreshing to hear other adults talk about animation from all eras with so much reverence. I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while, and have been meaning to leave a five star review. Today I listened to Joseph and Chris’s episode on X-Men: TAS, and I really wanted to shout at my car radio when you guys were confusedly discussing the naming conventions of the character Nimrod. So I figured that leaving a -star review would be the best way to point out why Nimrod is actually a very fitting name for a Sentinel. Nimrod is actually a very imposing name, because it originally referred to a powerful hunter from the Bible. So the name Nimrod actually means “mighty hunter”, while the secondary definition of the name didn’t come about until . Appropriately, it was actually a cartoon that planted the seeds of this new definition. In fact, it was Bugs Bunny’s supposed first appearance in the Merrie Melodies episode “A Wilde Hare” that Bugs sarcastically refers to Elmer Fudd as Nimrod, as if to mock his hunting ability. From there, it became Bugs’ occasional nickname for Elmer. Many who did not understand the reference then began to use this pop culture reference as the insult you recognize it as today. So in truth, calling someone a “Nimrod” is not unlike sarcastically mocking someone with the name “Einstein”. Because calling someone “Einstein” doesn’t take away from the fact that Albert Einstein was still a legitimate genius, and there are some super smart people who genuinely take compliment when being compared to him. Similarly, Nimrod can be a name used to praise someone’s hunting ability. Okay, cartoon history lesson; over. Please watch the Dragon Prince on Netflix. Make sure you watch season episode “What is Done”. In fact I’d encourage you to not make the same mistake you made with Infinity Train, and just ignore the “highest rated episodes” (they’re all highly rated anyways). At least stick to season , and don’t skip too far ahead for your initial review. This is a show that could be less enjoyable if you jump around between seasons.

18. Hey, thanks! - I love your podcast! You two are very cleaver and creative and are just awesome. I loved your episode on Gravity Falls, My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic and Danny Phantom. Um, could you guys possibly do an episode on Wakfu? It’s a tv show on Netflix. Thanks for doing this podcast! Keep up the good work! -DoodlePaws.
