1. Addictive - This books is as addictive as the cocaine the figures it discusses pushed. The subject is fascinating, the storytelling is engaging, and the book is well-organized along a generally chronological order. I simply could not put this book down. I like books on the drug wars and have read several of them. This one is easily the best. The book was written a number of years ago before the Medellin Cartel was finally brought down. It would have been interesting to read the authors' detailed and interesting treatment of the final years of the Cartel and Pablo Escobar and other related figures. This is not to the detriment of the book. It is fascinating for what it is. If you are at all interested in the Colombia cocaine era then read this book before any others.

1. Great travel book - I am excited to begin using this book on my next trip to Japan! I have come to love using travel books on my iPhone and iPad instead of traditional print books. The interactive nature (Google maps, etc) will definitely help make our trip easier. The info contained in this book is very comprehensive.

2. The best Tokyo ebook out there! - This is a fun and informative ebook. Useful combination of sightseeing and activity suggestions. The descriptions of locations are accurate. The color photos are wonderful. The guide also has some useful Japanese words and phrases. It’s a good jumping off ebook for planning a trip. I used this guide on my recent voyage to Tokyo. I had a most enjoyable week there, but I wouldn't have had so many wonderful experiences without this guide.

1. Low quality hard to use - This book is mostly a collection of materials (and not so recent) available on the Web (wilkitravel). It claims to be optimized for the iPad, but I don't think so. Hypertext navigation is cumbersome - for example, there is a Top section. When you choose to see more details on one, it navigates to that attraction, but in the "neighbourhoods" section. This means you can't read about all the Top in sequence, you must return to the ToC section, chose again Top , and then select the next (or another) attraction. It also does not provide any maps for offline (or even online) viewing, reducing it's usefulness. In summary, it's better to simply print the pages as PDF files, and read them in iBook!
