The BL obsessed friend is a little strange, but not a dealbreaker. I continue to look forward to the next novel. Good work!

1. Unexpectedly Perfect Balance - I thought I knew what to expect, being an isekai fan. However, there are so many hilarious points that caught me by surprise. Mixed with a good amount of action and drama made for a good balance. The main character is overpowered. But not to an overwhelming in every scenario type of OP. Again, a good balance. Eager to read the next one.

1. Going backwards - This series has so much potential and it kills me to see the author squander it. The first several books we watched as things happened around ayonokoji kun and he did nothing only at the end to be told he did some things off screen that make him sound intriguing or cool. last book the ending finally had him doing something with his abilities and i was exciting for the future of this series as he now was going to show what he is capable of…..and now this book….he literally does nothing the entire time we just watch things unfold around him and he doesnt even do the off screen stuff like the first books. he just walks away saying basically what happened happened. to the author i dont know whether you dont know how to write this charecter correctly or you dont realize how frustrating it is to watch such an interesting charecter do nothing, but please urtilize his abilities more. i know he’s trying to hide his abilities, but i think books of that is enough. the only reason this is stars is that the side charecters are at least fun and enjoyable.

1. Not for me. - Not for me. It felt somewhat boring to me and well I really don’t like or care for the MC, too passive and feels to much of a pushover really. Not my type of MC, and then the D&D style I’m not upset over or anything as I enjoy D&D but I don’t think it’s really meant for novels because it’s not the most exciting read and it feels a little excessive for the world, but that’s just me.

1. Great! - Honestly refreshing, the story built up and had some great moments. Kanata still seeing the world completely skewed in terms of level. Him trying to not throw around his power but still ends up blowing his cover. Small Spoiler: The only gripe I have would be that in some point Kanata is trying to make money to buy supplies he needs. One such supply is a rock that’s he later finds out is super rare and expensive. So he settles with upgrading a lower ranked rock into a higher ranked one. All the while also blowing his budget. My issue is that he takes on “debt” when he could have just sold a small portion of the S rank rock he made to come out with loads of money and no debt. Over all everything else was funny, and engaging.

1. Great series! - Love the series. If I would name the one things that I am dissatisfied with, it would be the way the author is progressing with Leon’s relationship. I find it unfair towards his fiancés if he is going to be a coward and not make any kind of moves towards them. I also think it’s unfair to Leon that his two fiancés are romantically interested in each to the point that they would share their first kiss with each, then with Leon. At this point I don’t understand why they are even engage to each other. I would of preferred that Leon would stayed single for being a coward and have his two fiancés engaged with each rather than with Leon.

1. Amazing Series - I’ve read all the light novels up to this volume and greatly anticipate the next one coming in March. I began reading the series after watching the first episode of the Anime and have been hooked ever since. If you enjoy Isekai anime/manga, give this series a try as its really the one that started it all.

1. Favorite series of the last couple years - I’m not one to read “wordy” books often. I tend to default to manga and comics, because not much else captivates me. Mushoku Tensei, however… the speed at which I managed to read every volume is astronomical. Everything about the world feels so organic and real despite being a fantasy, and each character is remarkably flawed and human (yes, even the demons!). Characters that seem like one-dimensional archetypes at first eventually get fleshed out and developed. There are certain characters, particularly in the later volumes, that I never predicted would become my favorites. It’s also a huge tearjerker on many occasions. MT has so much heart, but unfortunately is overshadowed by the hate for its controversial (and admittedly rather uncomfortable at times) content, but if you’re willing to withstand the “problematic” aspects, what you’ll find is a series with a lot of love and passion put into it. One of my favorite stories by far. I look forward to the remaining volumes!
2022-11-152. Great book - My first light novel. It has some grammatical errors for the English translation, and the sentences are awfully short (to the extent that you feel as if you’re speaking with a child). Sentences are quite simple, however the world building becomes quite intriguing. It’s well worth reading in my opinion!
2022-05-223. For anyone who contemplates reading this - I have not read this book, however I have read the web novel translation till the end and all the side stories with it. I found this series to be one of the greatest stories I have read in my life. The main character is not a template protagonist, he is a person. While some points in the story get a bit iffy on the morals, it is set in a Middle Ages fantasy type setting. The first few books are purely just entertaining, but after just a little bit of fun, a story emerges. This is a book about the life of a failure of a human going after a second chance of having a fulfilling life. This is the life of a man by the name of Rudeus, and how he chose to live. Anyway if you read this far and are still interested in the book (although I admit this is not that long) just give it a try. You might just love it more than I did.

1. Wry nice - Can’t say it enough this story is fun. I can’t wait for the next book. I always love it when the main character gets back with their classmates to see how he and they handle it is the fun thing some story have them hate them love them or does the main character destroyed them. I can’t wait to see what happens. Hopefully it would be long before the next book comes out. Since I don’t see a release date this book most have come out recently. Here’s to waiting then.

1. Not what you Think - Long tiles and isekais have been very popular and some better than others. This is a isekai and it dose start off with some of the more classic tropes. BUT I think it’s important to note that it doesn’t play out the way most other light novels do. Sure the first part of the books is very much what you expect from hero’s summoned from another world. What sets this LN apart is the MC isn’t your stereotypical overly dense protagonist. He is smart and observant, which leads him to unexpected allies. I think the books is worth giving a shot.
