Shaw loves to dangle delicious little tidbits in front of you and tease you with their phenomenal goodness just knowing you’re going to suffer dramatically until you get more. And that is exactly what she has done with her Novella Liam introducing us to the Dublin Kings series. OMG this man is the epitome of OTT Alpha Hotness. Liam is definitely meant to be a King and when he sets his sights on someone there’s no stopping him, he does everything he can to get them even if it means against their will. Liam and Imogen are the perfect pair even if she is in utter denial of it. The chemistry and air surrounding these two is of the charts intense. This may have been a quick tease but it was definitely packed full of danger, action, steam, lies, secrets, betrayal and serious power plays. Ends on a cliffy that will leave you begging and pleading for more of these two, especially since their story can continue in so many different ways and directions. Seriously am looking forward to this entire series but most definitely looking forward to Liam and Imogen’s story. Highly recommend this and all books by L.K.

4. Liam: LK Shaw - Review for Liam (Dublin Kings) by LK Shaw: Overall, I enjoyed this quick, easy read from Shaw. I loved that Liam is a possessive alpha male, and Imogen’s fiery personality was great. My biggest irk of this book was the major cliffhanger ending! As a teaser for a new series, I am hoping we get the rest of Liam and Imogen’s story soon as I’m now invested. This would be a great first read for someone who wants to try thriller, darker romance with spice.

6. Collection of dark and dangerous romances! - I had the opportunity to read Liam by L.K. Shaw. Liam is almost like a prequel to the Dublin Kings series, connected to the Brooklyn Kings. It does end on a cliffhanger. Liam has had his eye on Imogen and now he’s determined that she will be his. Kidnapped, Imogen tries to make the best of the situation, but as Liam works on gaining power, will Imogen’s secret destroy everything? Oh my goodness, for a short story, there is a lot packed into it! Liam and Imogen have some amazing chemistry right from the very beginning, and I adored their power dynamics. Imogen is spirited and even when she’s scared, she doesn’t back down. I liked her fire, her resourcefulness, and the way she works things to be in her control. Liam is arrogant, cares for no one but is intrigued by Imogen, and always gets what he wants. Their chemistry was like dynamite that was lit, full of suspense, waiting to be explosive, but this story isn’t over yet. I’m dying to know what will happen next with these characters and the little snippets we’ve now seen of what’s going on in this world. I am so excited! If this is how the rest of the stories in the collection are, then I am intrigued and excited about reading more!

The Mayson curse strikes again. Nico Mayson the brother that left the family business and went into the bounty hunting business with his cousin. He crude and tattooed. When the “boom” hits him and it’s a innocent librarian with a fetish for high heels he’s a little taken back but that doesn’t stop his full on assault (as the Mayson men are known for) for her affections. As with the other books in this series the author has crafted a beautiful love story – yes the men are over the top, over protective Cro-Magnons but who would do anything for their women. Lots of face time with all the brothers and their wife and kids along with a little suspense. I’ve loved all the Mayson brothers books and glad to see she is doing another series with some of the cousins and friends of men we have met throughout these books.

2. I need an ice bucket, it's that heated. - This book is the last I the until series and is my favorite, as well as the other books. I liked this one the most because I like seeing characters go through a rough change but come out on top. With Nico you could see that he was this hard character but turn into a big softy when it came to Sophie. There were a few parts that had me cry-laughing and some that got me heated hence my title lol. Great job Aurora, you truly don't disappoint.

This is the third book in the series and its just as good as the first was. - Until Lilly has it all, humor, two of the cutest kids, a crazy psycho ex and Cash and Lilly who get a second chance at love. Every book in this series the author manages to make you fall in love with each couple and root for them to find there HEA. When the Mayson men find their women they instantly know but this time a wicked witch got in the way and prevented our couple from getting together. Years later they meet again and both get surprises but also realize the love they had years ago is still as strong as ever and Cash is going to make sure this time they get their HEA and nothing is going to get in the way including is psychotic ex wife. This is the third book in the series and its just as good as the first was. The strong bonds of family, humor and super hot sex scenes make this series a must read… The uber sexy Nico’s story is next and since he’s always had a bit of a mystery surrounding him I cant wait to read his story.

2. It was okay. It was better than the first two stories. Better storyline. - Lily and Cash have a chance at rebuilding what was broken three years ago. Cash wants a chance to be a father to his daughter. It's a story about second chances. Cash tries to do the manly thing with Jules by marrying her for his son, but it does not work out. Later he finds out that Lilly too was pregnant, but did not get the opportunity to do right by her because Jules intervened. This story is pretty straight forward. Not a whole lot to decipher. Cash wants to make Lily re-fall in love with him and have her move in and then marry. My favorite part of these stories is how she portrays these brothers being excellent husbands and fathers. I also like that both parents are still married and in love. I like the positive words about love. It's a refreshing change in a story. I like that Cash always pleases Lilly first before himself. Cash is so great with sharing his feelings of love for her and telling her how beautiful she is. I love the family unity in this story. I love the fun they have with each other. They tease each other and take care of each other's needs. Cash likes to take care of Lilly. He also wants her to stay home and take care of the kids. Cash is too good to be true. He wants Lilly to sleep in and he fixes Ashlyn's hair. Well the author made sure to include every aspect that women want in there dream man including a man who cannot get enough of his woman. Cash always wants to have sex with Lilly and wants it at anytime of the day. No matter what they are doing Cash is always thinking about sex with Lilly. That was a bit of a stretch of a story with Jules at the end. Not sure why the author chose to have Jules go off the deep end with her craziness. It was kinda sad that Cash hooked up with a crazy girl to begin with. Does not say a lot about him and the types of girls he was hooking up with. What I don't like is the number of pages describing in vulgar details about there sexual escapades. I understand the mechanics of sex and don't need minute details. I usually skip through these pages. Overall, it was okay of a story. Better than the other two stories. Cash at least was not Acting like a caveman.

3. Great book! Very sad.. - This is a great book! It made me really sad though. The writing is excellent and I really feed bad for the twins and their terrible teenage years! 1. A good rockstar romance - Man oh man, I love me a good rockstar romance and this one is just so so addictive. Evelyn wakes up in Vegas the day after her st birthday to a super famous musician and with a ring on her finger…yikes indeed. However waking up to David and subsequently getting to know him is a pretty awesome experience in my opinion. I love him as a character and he’s honestly one of my favorites when it comes to the whole musician/regular girl trope. If you’re looking for a good guy within this trope then you’ve come to the right place. I expected David to be a punk for the majority of the book but he honestly turned out to be such a sweetheart and I didn’t have to wait forever for it to happen. It happened quickly - but not too quickly if that makes sense. So no worries there, we aren’t dealing with unrealistic things, it comes appropriately. I found the pacing of everything to be very realistic actually so I really enjoyed that. Sometimes when I read books like these the girls in them can kind of irritate me. This was not the case for Ev. I really did fall in love with her and loved how much she stood up for herself and really stood her ground on things. Throughout the whole book she really stays true to herself and I love that. Too many times girls can be portrayed as getting lost in the chaos and just following the guy around. Ev didn’t and it’s nice to see that for a change. The merging of two lives in this book is A , done so well. The whole thing is once again, very realistic and yet because of its somewhat unrealistic (for the majority of the population) plot it makes for a really fun read. I think that this is going to become a new comfort read for me. I’m still replaying scenes in my head. After finishing the book I immediately wanted to start it all over again so I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a solid read.

2. Blah - Protagonist is sexually assaulted multiple times only for her husband to blame her for it. Multiple episodes of violence brushed aside as “boys will be boys.” Protagonist throws her career away to be a barista and her rocker husbands personal assistant where he threatens to “sexually harass” her. I love a trashy romance novel but this one left me with an icky feeling.

3. Highly recommended - I really loved David and Ev. David is the lead guitarist for the band Stage Dive, he meets Ev one night in Vegas. Ev wakes the next morning having no memory of the night before. David is very upset as he rembers it all to well. Because he is a member of one of the biggest bands on the planet things quickly escalate with crazy fans, managers, lawyers, and paparazzi. Will they be able to build a relationship with his wild lifestyle? Will Ev remember what drove them to a Vegas wedding in the first place? There is something very hurt but also so sweet about David. Ev has moments where her backbone shows strong, but other times where she really could stand up for herself more. It has been awhile since I first read this series, but I think this was also my first book by Kylie Scott. I have enjoyed everything I have read by her.

5. Adjustment - Evelyn had plans for Vegas. She was going to find a hot guy and lose her virginity all over again. That is not exactly what went down. David has been through a lot. As a famous rockstar, he gets what he wants. Only this time, what he wants may walk away. This is a great story about true love and how is can happen quickly. I loved the characters and their interaction. Even the other characters in Stage Dive series are funny and worth reading. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.

6. Wonderful - I love that Ev was strong! She was hurt super bad but she was able to fight back and didn't allow David to steam roll her.. This was a wonderful story and ended beautifully .... The only issue I have with all of the stage dive stories was the fact that none of them had the hero's POV and that's just too bad because I would love to know what's in their head ...

7. Loved Lick! - I purchased this book on the teaser and title alone, and I wasn't at all disappointed. The characters were well written along with the story. I wasn't sure at first how this simple premise would make a full length story, but Kylie did a magnificent job, and had me pulling for David and Evelyn the whole way! . I thoroughly enjoyed the secondary characters ... especially Malcolm (Mal) he was hilarious and had me rolling with laughter! Loved him when he called Ev "child bride"! . This is a perfect book for you if you love Olivia Cunning (Backstage Pass, And the bands Sinners, and Sole Regret). If you love Terri Anne Browning "The Rocker....series,and Ava Lore "The Lonely Kings --" you will definitely love this book! star rating all the way!

1. Twisted, Dirty, Degenerate - Loved the Blindfold series. Looked for other books by Nikki Sloane and this was it. Some booksellers do not offer due to storyline - non consensual sex including captivity, and violence. I like books that are light, fun and steamy. This is erotic, dark and twisted. I couldn't put it down. I read the entire book on my phone in an evening. I continue to think about Addison and Luka and their choices. Reading it has made me question what I thought I knew. I recommend it.

4. It was ok... - Although this is a good read I felt myself skimming some of the pages. There was some hype about this story being to dark for a certain book retail site. I didn't see anything like that. I've read darker books than this. So that is why I gave it stars... 7. stars for Sordid! - Oh Nikki Sloane - you took us to the dark, and it was fantastic. Quick note, if you haven't read The Blindfold Club books by Nikki Sloane, please go read them ASAP! Be warned, Sordid is different from her other books, but it is equally good/great/awesome. Dark/taboo books are tough - will the story be believable? Can the author create characters that we'll pull for? Will the characters find a HEA? In a dark story, the HEA has to be believable. The answer to all these questions is YES. Addison & Luka's story is totally believable - from their first interaction and encounter at the start of the book to the final pages. Luka is an unlikable character - he's controlling, demanding, rough, but as the story goes on, you see more of Luka and understand him. Addison is a strong female lead - her struggle with what she wants (and wants with Luka) and what she thinks she shouldn't want is so real. As a reader, you can completely live in Addison's head and feel her inner battle. True to form, Sordid is still a HOT read from Nikki Sloane. I'm all about Joseph (Three Little Mistakes) but Luka...definitely a fan of Luka! You'll feel a little Addison as you read - should I think this scene is hot? Is it ok that I do? Props to Nikki Sloane for writing out of her comfort zone and going dark for Sordid. To those who say they can't read dark books, give this a try. I think you'll be surprised.

8. Sort of Raw - When a book gets banned from a huge source like Amazon, readers stand up and take notice. In this case, that's the wrong reason to read this book. Nikki Sloan's writing and raw story of dominance, power, trust, and love is such a better reason. She takes a sordid tale and twists it into a love story like none before. Forget what you think you know about falling in love. Forget what you think you know about dominance, family ties, and will to survive. All of these ideas are twisted into a well written, fast paced story that pushes the boundaries on acceptance. If dark stories with pain involved bother you, this is not the book for you. But if you can plow into a book knowing it might lead you through dark and scary scenes and out the other side and you're okay with that, then buy this book and be prepared to not stop reading until the end. I probably wouldn't have chosen this book because it's not a genre I usually enjoy but the banned issue and the need to support Ms Sloan sent me in search of purchasing and reading the book. Am I glad I did? Absolutely. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Was it worth the money and time? Absolutely.

9. Amazing book! - While this book may be a trigger for some it's filled with wonderful dark fantasy. I had never purchased a book by this author before but hearing it had been banned on another site made me run for it. I loved it. ( can't for the life of me think why it was banned to begin with) a great story about Addison and Luka who is part of a mob family. He is dark and controlling but sexy. I wanted more as I raced to the finish with this book. I certainly have a new author on my must read list. Highly recommended!

10. Amazing dark romance!! - Sordid Oh my gosh! I am seriously speechless! Sordid is the first book I have read by Nikki, but I can promise you that it will not be my last! I seriously have no idea how I haven't read any of her books before this one! Sordid had literally everything that I love when it comes to dark romance. It was dark, twisted, emotional, and sooo hot! The characters were amazing, and I loved them both! Addison was a serious good girl, and she had to be perfect in all aspects of life. Luka? Oh man I loved him. He's an extreme dominating alpha male, and who doesn't love that? Once I started, I seriously couldn't put it down. I had to literally force myself to stop reading for awhile because I wasn't ready for the book to end! This books is absolutely amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it!! 11. Dark, Mind-Bending and Twisted! I loved It! - Sordid is not for the faint of heart. It's dark, mind-bending and twisted. I loved it! The story is perfectly told in the heroine's POV. It's her tale of the sordid affair. What was suppose to be simply Addison's attempt at socializing turned into her captivity. While attending a frat party she found herself forcible beneath the man she once thought she loved in secret. Luka Markovic couldn't let Addison walk away with the possibility of her turning to the police. "I can't let you leave. As long as you're in my house, it's my rules. if you don't do as told, there will be consequences." Luka coerces Addison into submitting. He wants to own her, body, mind and soul. His motivations go beyond keeping himself and his family safe but also to keep Addison safe from his families ties. "I could be whatever I wanted beneath him." The beginning of the story is dark, dangerous and twisted. Luka is on a mission to break Addison in order to keep her. It's pretty intense and you start to really wonder where the story is heading. The story is only written in Addison's POV, which keeps you guessing because of Luka's stoicism. Once Luka becomes human, the story begins to move into a different direction. The ending is twisted. I didn't see it coming. I didn't want it to end. I couldn't get enough of Luka and Addison's story. They both have lost and won at the same time. Nikki Sloane writing is captivating, she had me entranced. If you like dark romance you will love this book. Stars!

13. Amazing and Emotional - Sordid is an amazing emotional mind blowing trip to the dark side. (And I loved every moment of the ride!!) I want to give it all the stars!! Addison is a serious "good girl" student with a bit of a crush on her former math PA. Luka is quiet and mysterious but hides a dark side. “The more you fight, the worse it will get. Just accept I am in control now. I own everything.” He made a production of sweeping his gaze downward. “Your body. Your time. Even your choices. Those are all mine now, Addison.” There were some very dark and taboo elements to this story and at times, yes I did question my sanity for how much I love this beautiful story. Nikki Sloane took me out of my comfort zone with this one but seduced me with her gorgeous words. I'm completely in love with Addison, Luka and Nikki!!! "Luka was bad, and the worst part of me hoped he was going to make me be bad along with him. Naughty, slutty, and wrong. I teetered at the edge, wanting him to push me over."

2. I love these Mayson men. - I love these Mayson men. This series gets better with every book. When we met Liz in the previous book she came across as a painfully shy person so imagine my surprise to find out she had quite a bit of spunk to her and is downright humorous at times. Trevor Mayson never had a chance once he met Liz.. Oh he tried for about minute to deny fate but see fate doesn’t let you get away with that so once he finally gave in he actually turned out to be quite the patient, loving, understanding man (with plenty of possessive qualities too) I loved every minute of this book. I love how the main focus of the story is always the couple but its also got plenty of family time, some suspense and in the case of this book tons of humor. At the end of this book is a teaser chapter for the next brothers book.. That teaser of Cash and Lilly’s story was sooo good I almost forgot what I just read. That’s a sign of a great author that as soon as you finish one book your jonesing for the next one.

3. This is the same story as the first, not much different. - This story is the same as the first story. Trevor wants Liz and is possessive and controlling. All these brothers tend to act like cavemen. Trevor tricks Liz into moving in with him, gets a dog, washes her hair, buckles her in the car, demands to marry him, and wants babies. Also, she gets kidnapped and injured just like November. Possessive and aggressive man are not attractive and the fact that these shallow girls find it appealing is annoying. Hard to believe both November and Liz did not know that a pregnant woman cannot drink caffeine. Way too much sex. That's all these brothers do. Actually, it's all anybody does in this town. I'm surprised the town is not filled with the brothers babies since they pride themselves on having one night stands with all the girls in town.

1. Resist Me Lucia Jordan - This is the first book I read from her but I loved this small collection. I have read similar books to this but this book gave me all types of feels. 2. Highly recommended - Mal first meets Anne at a party thrown by David and Ev from Lick. They quickly start a fake relationship which Mal doesn’t really give a reason for needing. Anne agrees even though she is wildly attracted to him, which gives her pause. There is quite a bit of angst throughout and Mal projects this air of happy a lot, but underneath he is having trouble. This story had me tearing up a few times. From the beginning Anne tries to help Mal deal with whatever is causing him pain, even though she doesn’t know what that is for most of the book. Will this fake relationship turn real? Will Anne be able to live with dating a rockstar? I love this series and hope you will too!

3. Love This Series! - This book worked for me on every level. It was fun to read, yet had a few heartbreaking moments, as well as tender ones. I loved the main characters, Mal and Anne. It was also great to see David and Ev again, as well as the other band members. The story was great, and I am looking forward to reading the next installment very soon. Anne hasn't had an easy life, and when her roommate absconds after leaning on Anne financially for a few months, it gets even harder. When Anne goes to a party with her neighbors and meets Stage Dive drummer, Mal, she suddenly has a new roommate and a pretend boyfriend. Mal needs to appear that he has a nice girlfriend, and he convinces Anne to let him move in with her so that she can afford to stay in her apartment. What starts as a fake relationship very soon turns real. Anne and Mal have to decide if they can open up and trust one another enough to make a real relationship work between them. This was a wonderful story. Anne and Mal had smoking chemistry between them, and I loved watching them get to know one another. I liked their conversations and the way they interacted together. There was an ease and understanding between them that I found very touching. This is one I highly recommend, along with the first book in the series, Lick.

4. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT - Great second book! I love the characters, I love the plot, I love the scenes. I love everything about this book! Both Anne and Mal are great characters and I enjoyed every moment reading this. The dialog was funny and entertaining, the love scenes were steamy and fun. Fantastic book! I will read this over and over, no doubt about that.

5. Absolutely wonderful - The characters and dialogue are hilarious and endearing. The story has a great mix of fun, sex and sadness. A real page turner. This series has a lot of profanity so if that bothers you it might be a turn off. As for me, I think it added a layer of realism because I'm sure that rock stars curse. I laughed out loud and got all misty eyed as well. Love all the books in this series so far.

6. I Loved this As Much as Lick! - Kylie Scott is officially my new fav writer. She captures the humor, the love, heart break, and erotic romance in every word she writes. Lick was the first of and I cannot wait till Lead comes out in the summer! She has captured the heart of my other favorite band member of Syage Dive to a tee! There was lots of humor in Lick, and a lot came from Mal...so I was pleased that book was about him, and his quick as hell relationship with Anne! I wish I knew a Mal cause he is awesome! the book has all the afore mentioned aspects and captures a little behind the scenes, and off the rock stage lives of the band, and I really loved the story! readers of Olivia cunning, Ava Lore, and Terri Anne Browning (my other rock writers) will surely enjoy this story. I laughed really friggin hard throughout and got a little sweaty during the love making, and making out! You'll love it, I promise ya! and add this many hotness rating too!

7. Funny and witty - I liked the humor in the story. If it had not been for the humor I probable would not have liked it as much. I get tired of reading stories about guys who get drunk, have sex with random girls, and hang out with the guys more appealing than being a decent human being. I'm tired of reading how guys feel trapped by being with one girl and feel like marriage and kids is a prison. When are men going to feel the same completeness women feel when they find a person that they want to spend the rest of their lives with. I thought it was funny how he moved in with her and started kissing her like she was his. I guess the lesson here is that guys will only want commitment when they are ready and not when a woman wants them to be ready. Proven fact you cannot make someone do anything they are not ready to do. People change when they want to change. So girls hold out until the guy comes knocking down your door.

8. Good - Fresh off the book Lick I pre-ordered Play... I'm going to have to say Lick was much better however Play is not too far behind. I tend to not like to not read the hero's point of view but considering Mal's 'out there' personality I can figure it probably would have been too hard on us readers. Either way I think Anne could have been stronger .. She was a bit annoying .. Don't get me wrong I don't like when the heroines are made out to be 'I'm going to control my feelings so I won't be hurt' nonsense but Anne could have been written better in that she wasn't a slave to her feelings.. Made her almost wimpy. Anyway it's worth the buy but be warned it'll be a bumpy ride...

3. Awesome - From the time I finished book two in this hot steamy series and how it ended I wanted to start book three right away! In this book I love how Desiree doesn’t stay knocked down but once again shows her strength and will to fight for the future she wants! I also like how a lot of the working staff helps each other out so nobody gets in trouble. There is still a lot of fun steamy that never disappoints with this amazing author books! And this book can be read in a few hours so if you want something quick, enjoyable, and will definitely take your mind off your to do list for a bit this a great book for that! Neat less to say I’m so happy with outcome in book three I believe each book leaves you wanting more at least for me they do. Part of that is the mystery behind some of the characters like Richard and Cassandra I want to know why he wants to help Desiree so bad. It’s nerve wracking lol but that’s part of the fun of a good book having different puzzles that hopefully you’re know the answers eventually. As far as Cassandra I really want to know what her history and why she is the way she is. I’m sure we’ll get the answers at some point. I personally still can’t get over Lee the cowboy I’ll let him do all my firsts if I was her anyway can’t wait to read more on this crazy series with amazing fun characters!. 1. Hot, but… - Selena has a writing style that is very provocative, sexy and eloquent, and it shows in this book. The very first time I read this was as the edited “Plaid Skirt Confessions” and only now have I read the unedited version. I’m not sure how to review this, but I’ll just say that the themes that play out in this version is, while hotly depicted, a bit out of touch with what I would normally consider comfortable. That being said, well-written book.

1. Review: Underground Kings : Assumption - Assumption by Aurora Rose Reynolds is the first book in her Underground Kings series. In reading this book I felt like there were some characters I should know better and upon further investigation this appears to be a spin-off to the Until series that I have yet to read. Not sure what I'm waiting on because this author is fast becoming a favorite for me. A reader can like many authors but every once in a while an author comes along whose writing style just has a way of connecting with a person. So we have a tough heroine, Autumn Freeman, who is working hard to better her life. She is successfully studying to become a nurse and works as a stripper to pay the bills. People assume things about her because she is a stripper but they couldn't be further from the truth. She is determined to get away from her toxic past and childhood and she is well on her way until she witnesses a multiple homicide at the club one night and barely escapes being a victim herself. Her close friend and club bouncer sends her out of state to stay with his friend until the shooter is apprehended and it is safe for her to return to Vegas. Kenton is a man of few words and when he meets the girl he's going to allow to stay with him for her protection he loses what few words he does have. When he speaks - it comes out all wrong. He makes assumptions about her lifestyle only knowing that she is a dancer and his misconceptions really tick her off. She allows him to continue to think she is dancing but finds herself a new job at the hospital as a nurse. So that was essentially the meet cute. The tension between these two is palpable. One pushes the other pulls and neither knows quite what they should be doing. They can't deny their growing attraction but the danger that still lingers over Autumn's head is looming closer. Despite the tension there are some wickedly hilarious moments int his book. My favorite has to be the bed and the balcony. That is all I'm saying - you'll know when you get there.

Sorry to say this was a mistake as for me the characters are no more than cardboard and the story creeps along at a snail’s pace. I am pages in and struggling to finish. 2. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! - In this series I've read book and . The reason I skipped was because, Belle is an Afro American woman and I was curious and I wanted to see how the relationship with her lovers were written. I love Tate the most an the other two followed in my affections as I continued reading. This book is funny, sexy, heart felt, and considerate. Right off I loved it because the guys didn't just start having sex on their their terms it was at her choice. The story didn't revolve around the main female character having struggle being a brown woman, with white men. It was a love story with suspense. The sex scenes didn't take over the book. As an Afro American woman I enjoyed this book.

This is the true definition of what a series is all about. They have to connect and take you from A to Z. They take ménage to another level, not to mention virginity. These women are treasured and cherished for their virginity. These days it's very rear that a woman last till her twenties to find a good math to give herself too. This is just one of the reasons I love this series. It makes you think about real life and the what ifs.

2. . stars - . stars. I'm glad I read the reviews on this book AFTER I read it. First, I'm trying to catch up on all of Cherise Sinclair's books as I really enjoyed her Sons of the Survivalist series. Second, I can see where readers who involve themselves in the world of BDSM can find plenty of instances to argue whether or not Ms. Sinclair is adhering to the many rules and regulations that protect its members from irreversible harm, but really. This story isn't a manual of BDSM behavior, and I can hardly say that everyone commenting have been adhering to these rules relentlessly. (I mean, who even can say they follow the Ten Commandments to the letter, or even the pagan morality code of "Do no harm."?) This isn't the proper channel to address these concerns. This is just a book, folks. She's tried to insert a disclaimer at the.very beginning. That's one of the reasons why I would never write a BDSM story because I doubt my stories would want to adhere to the rules. That's usually what a writer does to inject excitement in a story. Now having said that, my comments will be regarding the story itself, not about BDSM. Having read the first four of her Masters of Shadowlands series (about a BDSM sex club), I am definitely seeing similarities in writing to the point that I have become quite bored with the sex scenes. I spent more time skimming through these parts just to get to the non-sexual segments where the story resumes. (I mean, it's like being one of Eva Gabor's sixth or seventh husband on. your wedding night. You know how to do it, but how do you make it interesting?) I'm already at that level. One wonders if some of the violations of the rules of BDSM may have been done to do just that (the wedding night homage, I mean). So I am rather hesitant to consider the next book because it's only pages and $. and not on KU. Once I skip over all the sex scenes, what else will be left? Logan and Rebecca are sympathetic characters. In a large crowd, it seems I could recognize Logan far more quickly than I could Rebecca. My problem is that I now see a similarity between the majority of Sinclair's alpha males. (Master Z and Cullen in the Shadowlands series are the exceptions.) So are they ALL going to be like that? I would hope not, or it'll get even more boring sooner rather than later. Not worth the ticket price. I really felt the crisp cold environment of the lodge which was the primary location of the book. My problem is that though I could easily identify with the lodge itself, I couldn't "feel" its GPS location. Otherwise, I was quite impressed with most of her exposition. I found the POV to bounce around like a ping pong ball. There wasn't enough division between POVs, and I found myself mistaking one's POV with another and had to go back and double-check myself. Aggravating. That's one of the reasons for the . star given. I'm not positive if I want to read Book yet. That's depend on the mood as well as my budget because the cost per page is rather high.

3. Adventure & Excitement - I discovered Kresley Cole with the book "Demon from the Dark", a later addition to the Immortals After Dark series. Now I've gone back and begun reading all editions in order. While I enjoyed this book and the characters, it did start off a bit slow. Fortunately the characters became more interesting and the adventures much more dramatic. It was an enjoyable, easy read which I would recommend. The sex scenes are steamy, but not as hot as her more recent books.
