1. A Hollywood script couldn't touch this. - Dan Hampton is the epitome of every professional warrior: he immersed himself into his God-given talent from its inception and remained human throughout its path while staying true to his beliefs. He is typical of every successful engineer-type mindset we have all known, one who views the world through a different lens. Add to this Colonel Hamptons ability to place you, the reader, into the cockpit with him through every flight/every mission and you have a read you will not be able to easily set aside if you've any interest whatsoever in the development of a highly intuitive pilot-or, for that matter, an insightful, innovative human. Cocky at times? Yes-but humble without reservation, especially when faced with a learning moment.
In a nutshell? An very intelligent writer taking you through his artistically and life changing-often deadly-dance in the skies of the world.

2. Very exciting read! - Viper Pilot is a great narrative of what it's like to train to become a USAF F- pilot and go to war. Lt Col Dan Hampton wrote the book without a ghost writer, so it's like sitting with the guy, having a beer, listening to him tell stories. I can just picture him demonstrating the yanking and banking with his hands as he speaks, LOL. Dan's stories are very exciting, entertaining and not at all dry. He recounts tales of being in Gulf I and II, as well as what his role was on / and about training some Egyptian pilots. Really funny stuff from Egypt! I must admit I got a little lost in technical bits occasionally, but this book is as close to flying a fighter jet as I will ever come. Thanks, Dan. "Dogs" pulls no punches with his opinions and often is not at all PC. I like people who are not afraid to say what they really think. Dan Hampton is one of those people. I wonder how he got clearance to say as much as he did about some of the things civilians will never hear about. Some people have said that Dan is a tad on the arrogant side, but I've been around military flyboys my whole life, and yup, they do tend to be that way a bit. Rightfully so! We need them to be that way to do the job that they do for us. And remember, this is HIS book, so it is logical that it revolves around "I" and "me". However, I noticed numerous places where he credits and praises other members of our military forces. One of my favorite lines is where Dogs thanks a tanker pilot who flew into the war zone to rescue him, as the F- was coasting on fumes. "Pretty ballsy thing to do by a guy sitting in a big unarmed flying gas can." Viper Pilot is a very good look into a world I will never see firsthand. I suggest you jump in and hold on!! The bad thing about books like this is that I finish them too quickly. I look forward to reading Dan's fiction.

3. High on ego, but... - As another vet who flew the Harm loaded viper in anger, found Hampton's rendition high on ego and bravado, but low on perspective - and, more importantly, low on substance worthy of the "America's best fighter pilot" claims. While we should appropriately say thanks for Hampton's service, don't think it would be tough to find hundreds, more likely thousands, with a more compelling story...

1. Great Book - A very good book that gives great insight as to what soldiers go though to defend our country. You might not agree with Mr. Kyle's viewpoints all the time, but you can't help but respect what he and other veterans (of all political stripes) have given of themselves for this nation. Rest in peace Mr. Kyle. And thank you for your service.

2. Eh... - I wanted this book to be good. What he went through and his story is intriguing, and as a veteran of the Iraq war I can relate on several things, but the book didn't capture my attention and have me not wanting to put it down like some books do. I wanted to read it before watching the movie. This might be one case where the movie does the story more justice than the book does.

3. American Hero - What an honor to have spent the last week walking in the boots of Chris Kyle, and to get a very real glimpse into the days and nights of a true American Hero! I hurt for Taya and the kids, and family of Chris, having to go on with life without their beloved husband, father, brother, and son. It doesn't seem fair that a family who so graciously lived through Chris' absence while he served the Country that he loved should be deprived of the years of peace that he and they were set to enjoy. There is comfort in the belief that God knew that Chris had served his days here on Earth with honor and distinction, and that he had earned an Honorable Discharge to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven.

4. American sniper interesting but lacking insight - Aside from the interesting facts presented and the easy readability, the author attempts to explain instances occurring while at home. I have known many of these guys And Chris was in good company in lacking a deep insight into himself. Maybe if he had lived longer it may have come to him but so many of them live the "facade" of who they are. The book lets us know how far we need to go to rehabilitate these ex soldiers

5. Wow. - Words cannot describe this book. It's openness and honesty are amazing. By the end of the book not only do you have a deeper appreciation for the men and women of our armed forces, you feel like you've made a friend in Chris Kyle. Like you actually know him. It's like he was actually talking to you the whole time. After I read the book, I went and watched a couple of his interviews online from when he was still alive. I then watched a part of his funeral online just to see what it was like. I cried. Even though it was years ago, I felt like I had lost a friend.

6. Could not stop reading - What an amazing American. I read this book on vacation sitting under a palm - could not stop reading his well written adventures. I realized my freedoms and my opportunity to sit under this tree are provided by Hero's like Chris. God bless his family. I can't wait to see the movie!

7. Very Good Book - As a member of the st Airborne and a sniper during the mid s I found this book to be interesting. A thin line walked by a warrior telling just enough to keep you interested without extending past the confines of missions and the requirement to maintain classified information. Such is the world of operators.

1. Fascinating book! - Although this book was written quite a while ago, it remains a powerful and relevant story for our time. Africa remains a place of turmoil, religiously motivated wars, and clashes between the traditional and the modern. On a personal level, African people are caught in a ruthless power struggle between ideologies, resulting in deaths of pastoral tribes, captivity, slavery and rape of large numbers of women, and the conscription and indoctrination of young boys into a life of violence and hatred to carry on the destructive amassing of territory and power in the name of Allah or a ruthless warlord. Waris' story quickly became a page-turner for me. The unlikely path, the twists and turns, and her responses to them are truly hard to believe. And her ability to hold up under the dangers and strains, in both the world of her childhood, the western 'civilized' world of Europe and the West, and then the world stage, is admirable, if not always graceful. I was struck by her ability to listen to her intuition, and to take action on it. It was in many ways uncanny, but totally consistent with other stories of tribal peoples who grew up, and survived, living close to nature. There is a 'knowing,' a premonition, a clairvoyance that we can tune into if we listen carefully. Waris learned to do this as a very young child living a nomadic life, and remained attuned regardless of her environment. Perhaps the two most important themes in this book are making people aware of the horrors of female circumcision, or FGM, and maintaining a perspective on what is truly important in life, with gratitude and thoughtful priorities in place. When you read this book, I believe that you will come to clearer understanding of the hardships people around world face, how resilient the human spirit and body are, and how blessed people who live in Western cultures truly are.

2. My Opi - Great story!!. My sister advised me to watched the movie. After watching it, I needed to know more details of Waris life and FGM. It's truly sad. I hope a lot has changed since in the African communities regarding this outrageous and dangerous practice. Waris has done a great and honorable deed! Thank you!!

3. Phenomenal - This book has touch me like no other. As an African American women, whose family originated from the slave trade, but grew up here in a much different way, I can't tell you how much I appreciate these words. There is so much that we take for granted in the states and so much to be thankful for. So thank you Waris for opening my eyes and letting me go through this adventure with you.

1. Superbly written - There’s something in this book to trigger both sides in this divided nation. I found the very concise and well written. There’s no doubt that this man spent a career as an attorney. There’s not a lot of emotional fluff. It’s is as a series of facts, through his eyes, explanation, and details. It’s almost encyclopedic, but thought provoking and a good read. I developed a lot of respect for this man reading this.

2. An excellent book by an honorable man - Unlike most “political” books, this one presents well reasoned conclusions based on facts. Clearly written by a man who loves this country, the fascinating history of the rise and self-inflicted fall of President Trump is an agonizing tale that brings to mind Aristotle’s analysis of drama and the hero’s fatal flaw.

1. Ashley’s War - This is an outstanding book I couldn’t put down. I am a female veteran and was able to relate to many of the issues these women faced. Unfortunately I was in service in the late ’s and early ’s which back then none of these opportunities were available to us. Had they been, I would have been right up there with these female warriors. I’ve always felt women have a role in combat. As long as the standards are the same for both men and women, no special treatment, then let’s go!

2. Women who are HEROES - This is one of the most inspiring books I’ve ever read. It’s about women earning the opportunity to serve their country by being enablers for Army Rangers. They have to prove they can do everything a Ranger can do but they aren’t allowed to be given the title of a Ranger. They earn the respect of the Rangers by proving their value during Ranger missions.

3. Incredibly Enlightening - I have read A LOT of books. No other book has ever changed my worldview like Ashley’s War has. My understanding of the role of women in the military, especially in combat zones, is so much broader now. Previously, it was hard for me to grasp how women could be integral to a mission and why women would want to go to an active combat zone. I get it now! Ashley’s death was the hardest thing I’ve ever read. It was difficult to get through with all the tears. I felt like someone I knew & cared about had died. I’m pretty sure I will never forget Ashley & will forever carry her warrior spirit in my heart.

1. Great book, loved it...but...will get stars when fixed. - A book that's clear enough to read. What a novel idea! I read this book as a paperback and enjoyed it very much. So, I figured I'd buy it again and read it on the off times. The only problem is, I referred to the family tree very often while I was reading and the chart in this version is fuzzy and useless. I don't understand how the author or Apple would allow this to happen.
Apple released an update to make a picture clear when you double tap...'scuse me folks, it didn't take. This book would have an easy stars if this was fixed.
Something so simple and I am truly disappointed.
I will change my review immediately to stars when this is clear enough to read.

1. I wish more people would read this - Its so sad how the media portrayed Jared and the Trump team when we all should be thanking them for working so hard toward creating a significantly more peaceful world. So many milestones that should’ve been covered but ignored by media and late night talk show hosts. It really is all so sad.
If Jared ever runs for president, he has my vote.

2. A true portal into the Trump White House - Excellent insight into the Trump Presidency and the meaningful contributions Jared made supporting Trump. I was not surprised to read DJT had a near photographic memory. I had no idea about the effort and diplomacy involved in the Abraham Accord. This was a very underreported event.

3. Amazing Read - What a book! It was fascinating to get a behind the scenes look into Trump’s White House. Especially when compared to what is happening there now (Biden in September ), it is amazing to see how much they accomplished together. Jared was a huge piece of it all too. I recommend to anyone wanting to read a great story.

4. What Jared Helped Accomplish - Fascinating behind the scene memoir of selected challenges, failures and accomplishments of the Trump Administration. Written from a personal perspective, Jared sheds light on the difficulties of trying to execute as an outsider in Washington. Whatever your political views, the book is worth reading to understand how NAFTA was renegotiated, prison reform was enacted, Abraham Accords miraculously were signed and the COVID vaccine was delivered. He was intimately involved in these areas and provided valuable insight as how they were each accomplished through perseverance and personal connections. The book was a little light on criticism of President Trump and didn’t provide any significant commentary on the Capitol Riots. I would have liked for Jared to apply the same lens used on the above topics to understand Trumps position on the last election. Overall, a very enjoyable and worthwhile read.

1. Prairie perspective - I once loved to hate Alison’s portrayal of Nellie Oleson and grew up watching all of Little House on the Prairie so I knew this would be an interesting take on Alison’s time on the show. Her no-holds-barred accounts of her time off-screen with family and cast members gave a well-rounded look into her life and I’m glad I read it.

2. Real, enlightening and amazing - This is exponentially better than Gilbert's "A Prairie Tale"...a long-time fan of LHOP from s reruns/syndication I hated Gilbert's book so I almost didn't purchase this one. Arngrim tells her story without the "woe-is-me-child-actor" factor. Her book seems genuine and honest and I loved the theme of how her fictional character helped shape her in positive ways and helped her accomplish major feats in activism. She gives great insider Hollywood gossip of the show without putting anyone down too much. But it isn't loaded with all LHOP things. Even if you aren't a fan of the show, the wisdom and humor will keep you turning pages.

3. Readable - If you can get past the arrogance coupled with the poor me victim putting brave face on it syndrome, then the book is good airport reading. Hopefully your plane won't get delayed because only the middle bit is of any interest. Do you know of over people who worked years with one another and never had one single dispute or upset? Allison does. According to her version they all got along so swimmingly well, just one big happy family. Such is not human nature but she is unwilling to tell the bad with the good and therefore provide her paying audience with a truthful account.
What we have here ladies and gents is her cotton candy version of the truth intended only as a vehicle to catapult her charities into the limelight.

2. Bravery vs the bully - This man’s bravery is what this country was once built on, but now seldom acted upon. I followed Lt Col Vindman during his Congressional testimony and felt his love and devotion to the nation, constitution and the military. Too bad Mr Trump had corrupted the higher ups in the military. Great book and every American should read it.

1. An excellent tribute to an incredible man - As I read this I realized how grateful I am to have lived through throughout General Eisenhower’s presidency and to have memories of him as president. He was a truly extraordinary man. This book is poignant and informative. It’s the only book that has ever brought tears to my eyes; I had to pause reading to gather my thoughts at the description of his passing. After all he endured in his lifetime and the grace with which he conducted his life I experienced a heartfelt since of loss at his passing. This should be required reading for all Americans.

2. Great book on a much misunderstood president. - Full disclaimer here: I was given a copy from Mr. Baier after I took photos at the Reagan Library for another book Mr. Baier was writing and expressed my interest in Eisenhower. That said I'm also a student of history and was keen to find out if Eisenhower had been portrayed fairly as a president. I've always considered him a lightweight president but excellent commander in chief of the allied forces in WWII. I really enjoyed this book. It was well-written and thoroughly researched. What I found most fascinating was Eisenhower's measured response to threats, both external and internal. He pondered, he thought, he took his time and spent what seems like an eternity crafting his speeches and especially his final "military industrial" farewell. And I really enjoyed how Mr. Baier compared this, unflinchingly, to our present day politicians. I loved the details, the small anecdotes and especially his coverage of Ike's dealings with Kennedy. The book seemed to lose steam about a third of the way through but then picked up the pace toward the end magnificently.
It was somewhat sparse on the Ike years presidential term details and I wanted to know more about several incidents but that's not what this book is about -- this is really focusing on those three days and on that it does supremely well. It was absolutely fascinating to peer, almost in real time over Ike's shoulder as he painstakingly crafted his most important speech. Mr. Baier doesn't let Ike off the hook when it comes to soft pedaling McCarthy and his seeming disdain for Nixon -- which I appreciated. I still don't buy why Ike didn't use the power of the bully pulpit to smash that other bully of the s. The behind the scenes stuff in the limos, with Kennedy and Camp David is fascinating. A great book digs deep into a specific historical moment and if you want to understand Ike's famous speech this is the place to begin.

3. Three Days in January - The focus of Eisenhower’s creed to avoid war and seek peace is really the Bible.
Yes, General Eisenhower understood war. His plans for “D” day is a masterpiece in planning to the finest detail. Again he knew how to win the battle and war but that was not his real focus.
His philosophy of peace for the world is the creed for the future.
He knew the “Military Industrial Complex” is not the solution. He gave us the path for lasting peace.
Thank you for a wonderful piece of history and map for the future. James Shaw Naples, Florida

4. The General - I found this book focused on Dwight D. Eisenhower the man, general, and president extremely informative. It provides insight into his intelligence as a military leader and strategist, and how those characteristics translate into the Oval Office. The book also caused me to reevaluate some of my political views regarding national defense and foreign policy. Thank you Bret Baier for the time invested by you and your team to share this bit of history.

5. More than I hoped for - This book was honestly refreshing and wonderful to read. The details of General Eisenhower, President Eisenhower, and then General Eisenhower are explained in such a way it takes the reader on a wonderful ride into his thinking and makeup. His involvement and thoughts on the Bay of Pigs was fascinating. I don't know if any current and former President would have the relationship described in those details ever again. His passion for this country and desire to look ahead as he headed for civilian life is a great story. I commend Brett Baier for his commitment to this subject and book. It was so much more than I expected and was a great read.

1. Fast read showing Trump Administration’s Priorities - Ms. Grisham’s memoir of her service to President Trump and the First Lady showed just how little respect this (her words) power hungry and self serving and self promoting administration had at the expense of the long time civil servants and the American people. It also appears that she may have lied about her alcohol and drug abuse which I can sympathize with but seemed to be a double standard when calling out the Trumps for lying. Scary to see the extreme egos and disregard for the country they have. She really couldn’t articulate one success of the administration which I found odd: don’t buy this book.
2021-12-04
2. Apologist has ‘epiphany’ way too late - Ms. Grisham spent over four years working for the Trumps, and finally figured out that they are not nice people. While there are a few dishy insights (just a few), and her ‘realization’ (finally!) that her boss is an abusive creep, his wife an enabler, all a reader can do is wonder, given the many sickening encounters the author details, is ‘what took you so long?’ And throughout, she tries to justify her own actions, defend the ‘first lady’, and blame he media. Duh.
Don’t bother.
2021-10-11
3. A Confederacy of Malevolent Dunces - This book is a bizarre combination of apologia and self-justification, or Stephanie Grisham trying to have it both ways. To paraphrase, "I'm not excusing my complicity in the grift, lawlessness, cruelty, crafting lies to disseminate to the public, etc., but here's why I did it." The "why" is of no importance to Americans given the January assault on Congress, Democracy, the Republic, the Constitution (which she claims to value generally), and the Capitol Police. Grisham leaves out the part of her White House tenure between the election and the coup attempt. She does, however, claim to have been frozen out of Trump's inner circle on or about election day. How convenient for her, since failure to report federal crimes you know about is itself a federal crime: Misprision of a Felony. One of the weirdest things about this memoir is the lengths to which Grisham goes to create a self-serving but sympathetic picture of Melania Trump, her close friend until she wasn't. Given Melania's public statement slamming this memoir, that effort was lost on Melania. One thing this memoir clarifies is how much taxpayer money was spent by the Trumps for selfish, stupid, unnecessary, vain, and illegal reasons. The whole Trump family basked in taxpayer paid-for luxury. We apparently spent money on a photographer to constantly document Melania's first ladyship in the most contrived and flattering light possible. Melania even spent our money re-creating public events if Melania was dissatisfied with photographs (or lack of same) of herself at those events. Grisham writes proudly of her steadfast loyalty to the Trumps and how she never "leaked" anything about the Trump White House. Then Grisham undoes every bit of that in this memoir, a book-length leak, with // releasing her from whatever obligation she felt to protect Melania. Then there's Melania's Look Book, laying out each and every very expensive outfit she would wear, while she idiotically complained that people focused on her clothes and not her actions, a sin of which Melania herself is guilty. Her total lack of self-awareness is on florid display. But Grisham agrees with Melania and laments that we never saw how much Melania cares about uncaged children. Grisham writes that there was no intention to send a message to anyone when Melania wore that infamous "I don't care, do you?" jacket; while Grisham also helped craft a false narrative that it was a message directed at the press. Inanely, Melania suggested they gaslight the world by claiming there was a circle with a diagonal slash over the word, "don't." Melania Trump comes off as a stupid person's Lady Macbeth, without the capacity for hand-washing regret. "What can you do?" Grisham wrote press releases and Tweets that often were more detrimental and deceptive than they were helpful to anyone. Grisham's pride in her professional reputation, while being bad at her job -- almost always somebody else's fault due to constant and intense palace intrigue -- is a striking level of self-deception. Grisham inadvertently tells on herself repeatedly without being aware of it, in addition to the sins she meant to confess. Grisham is just another fiddler while the Republic burns. It's a book written by a shallow person about even more shallow people, the reading of which was like experiencing two bad trips at the same time, one layered on top of the other. Jonathan Swift wrote that happiness is "a perpetual possession of being well-deceived," i.e. self-deceived. Stephanie Grisham's memoir is a fine example of that self-delusion about Donald and Melania Trump, which she still carries forward despite her tandem effort to set the record straight.

1. All The Gallant Men - Thank you, Donald Stratton, for writing such a wonderful book of our history. A magnificent contribution to our nation. I was four years old when Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese on December , . I remember vividly hearing the famous words of President Roosevelt, "This Day Shall Live In Infamy". I was the youngest of children..the oldest brother serving in the army and the next brother in the Navy during the war. You can imagine why I remember so well. I was such a frightened little girl. My brothers returned safely and never spoke of their experiences. They both died early deaths. How I have wished I could ask them questions. My thanks to you for your courageous service for our country. Thank you, Velma, for your love and support to your wonderful husband. You both have been blessed with each other. My appreciation and admiration have only increased as l know more about her from her own words. I have a much greater respect for Mrs. Roosevelt's work for the benefit of the citizens of the United States. Too bad we do not have anyone like that among us today. She was a women of Integrity.

1. I couldn’t stop reading. - This was an enlightening account of a tragic story. Amanda’s unique perspective is eye opening and brings in to question how much faith we should have in the absolute integrity of law enforcement investigations and judicial systems and the role that bias plays in the court of law and of public opinion. Highly recommend.

2. Good read! - Crazy story that could happen to anyone especially visiting or living in other countries. I feel angry for her and would like to kick the prosecutors and cops in the shin(s) at a minimum. I almost feel compelled to write a thank you letter to Don Saulo. I’m so happy justice was ultimately served for them and saddened that it took so long. Rudy Guede is an animal. I’ll pray for Meredith and her family.

3. Disgusting - First, just because Amanda Knox wore nice clothes in her interviews and wrote a book saying she is innocent doesn't mean she is. I suggest the book Meredith by John Kercher. He talks about the Kercher family's astonishment at Amanda Knox's and Rafaelle Sollecito's acquittal after k pages of evidence against Amanda Knox and Rafaelle Sollecito in trial . Kercher has been a journalist and he is an excellent writer. Alan Dersowitchz, a famous attorney has stated that in years he has never seen a trial so one sidedly portrayed by the media. Americans were not privy to the evidence like Italians were - they all know she's guilty. Let's break down just some of the evidence against Amanda Knox & Rafaelle Sollecito- and this isn't all of it. ) A staged break in-Whenever a break in is staged it is due to someone having a connection to the house trying to thwart their involvement - we often see this on Forensic Files. The window was broken from the inside not the outside and it was a huge rock, not even able to fit through the window that no one would be % impossible to throw through a story window. Glass was found on top of items in a suspicious way, not all over and underneath. ) Amanda's foot matched the footprint that was made in Meredith'a blood on the bathroom floor rug. ) Amanda's blood was found in the bathroom sink on top of the faucet or something the morning of the murder. Her defense says she had a nosebleed. Bull. ) Meredith's blood was found in the bathroom sink as well mixed with Amanda Knox's DNA. ) Amanda's DNA was found on a kitchen knife with Meredith's DNA on the knife blade. This was retested at the appeal years later and they said it wasn't human DNA - rye bread or something. The knife had been bleached and I think the bleach combined with time erased the traces of Meredith's DNA over time. Also the knife wasn't found at the apartment - it was found at Amanda's boyfriend's apartment. Why would Meredith's kitchen knife be at his apartment anyway? )Amanda and Rafaelle turned their phones off all night for the first time the night of the murder all night. ) Amanda falsely accused an innocent man of murdering her roommate when she was interrogated by police. She claims they beat her and that this was a coerced false confession. Well he was in jail for weeks- Amanda had all that time to come out and say that he was really innocent. She would have let that man sit in prison for this had a university professor and many others not come forward saying he was with Lumumba at his restaurant. Amanda was sued for defamation by the interrogators for saying they hit her and coerced her. ) A shop owner testified that Amanda Knox was waiting for him to open his store the morning after the murder and she went straight to get cleaning supplies and their is a receipt for bleach. The apartment had been bleached and cleaned of Amanda Knox's prints. ) Amanda and Rafaelle had no alibi and they lied about the one they tried to pass off. ) Rafaelle's DNA was found on Meredith's bra clasp. It was left at the crime seen for days or so, but still evidence is evidence and people can claim contamination but I don't. ) Meredith's phones were thrown over a fence. A neighbor called to report the suspicious appearance of the phones in her yard and the postal police investigated- which led them to Meredith's apartment. Amanda and Rafaelle were outside at the time. After the postal police showed up Rafaelle called the Italian police. This would make it look to outsiders that Rafaelle reported the break in and then everyone showed up. Think about it-if the investigators show up to give Meredith her phones and she is dead-murdered then suspicion will go on the roommates who were at the crime scene. ) Investigators confronted Rafaelle for calling police after the postal police arrived at which point Rafaelle signed a statement saying that he had been lying for amanda and that she left his house that night returning a few hours later. At this point it would suggest that when they told him that they knew about him calling the police after the postal police arrived that he turned on Amanda and tried to put the blame on her. Since they were wrongfully acquitted they are friends again. ) The behavior of Amanda Knox and her boyfriend -whom she had only known for days by the way - has come under suspicion and rightfully so. She and her boyfriend were making out outside the crime scene like two snake lovers in a crime spree. If you look up the Amanda Knox BBC documentary on YouTube, that infamous picture of Amanda on Rafaelle's arms looking at the crime scene investigators is the still shot used for the video and that picture screams guilt to me. You have to see the picture to understand. At the police station as a "witness" with Meredith's friends, Amanda was making out with her boyfriend, doing cartwheels & stretches - I think she was doing that in the lobby to make people think that the innocent girl doing cartwheels couldn't be the one who did this. She also made a comment to Meredith's friends: "Of course she suffered she had her Fing throat cut." Meredith's friends informed investigators that Amanda was the exact opposite of Meredith. Meredith did send a text out to her sister before she died that she had a fight with Amanda. Amanda & Rafaelle were filmed kissing/buying lingerie the next day like a honeymoon. Young love. ) Rudy Guede has said Amanda was there and that she killed Meredith after being confronted for stealing Meredith's rent money. Rudy was convicted in the killing as well. ) Investigators determined that Meredith Kercher was killed by people based on forensic evidence. I agree with the prosecutor - I think they killed without motive.

4. Pure evil - This woman continues to fool so many. She is NOT a heroine, but a sociopathic murderer of the cruelest type. Not only was she involved, she tortured Merideth and would have been fine to have Lumumba rot in jail the rest of his life for the premeditated murder that she organized and carried out!!! THERE IS ZERO DOUBT THAT THE BREAK-IN WAS STAGED AND THIS INDICATES THAT SHE WAS BEHIND THE MURDER. People, please learn the facts of the case instead of regurgitating the smoke and mirrors of the defense. There is a mountain of evidence supporting her convictions. Sollecito says to this day that SHE WAS GONE from his apartment from -!!!

5. Blech - This book makes me queasy. I feel like every word out of Amanda Knox's mouth is a complete lie. She is very careful to set up every situation she re-tells in this book to her favor to prove she isn't the killer when most certainly is. Lie after lie in each page of this book. You can just tell how manipulative and evil this girl is. How disrespectful this book of lies is to Meredith's family who is still searching for answers and closure.

6. Amazing is an understatement - This book is one of a kind! It is rare that I find a book that I can't keep my eyes off of, and when I find one, the feeling is unexplainable. Reading Amanda's story has forever changed my life! Although I didn't follow this story while it was going on, ever since I found the first article about Amanda Knox I have with out a doubt believed in her and her innocence. Amanda, you are such an inspiration to read about and your strength is beyond words. Thank you for writing this memoir and letting the public in on such an emotionally tough time of your life.

7. A great read - Whether you believe in her innocence or not, this book is a fascinating read. Extremely well-written and eloquent, Amanda offers readers a peak inside her mindset, and explanation behind her bizarre behavior. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and think it is a must-read for anyone interested in the murder of Meredith Kercher.

8. Amanda Knox - I really recommend this book to everyone concerned. It is obviously a true account. I have seen the movies made of the case. Both the Italian version (guilty), and the US version. This seems to explain it all. I can't believe they are not done yet, with the overturning of the ruling. I feel everyone should read this to protect another innocent American.oo

9. We stand behind Amanda - As a person who has lived all over the world, I tend to look at things from a neutral position. I read this book, along with Raffeale's (his was fabulous) and I also read all the evidence from Italy. Without a doubt, both these people are innocent. The murderer, Rudy, is in jail. Amanda, the world believes and commends you for fighting. This book is amazing! Take time to read her account. Most importantly, the evidence doesn't lie. There was NONE from she and Raffeale. We will continue to pray for both your freedom. Thank you for this honest account!

10. Educator - They say the truth is stranger than fiction. This is a tragedy of epic proportion. st the Kerchers horrific loss then Amanda 's and raefelles injustice. My empathy for Amanda 's plight is exceeded only by my anger at Mignini and his criminal mistreatment of A and R. shame on the Italian legal system. No wonder % of convictions are overturned on appeal. The only surprising thing is it's not more than that. The prosecutors invoking Goebbels is just as depraved as he was. Sad that Italy could repeat the unlawful incarceration practices the nazis used . This is a hideously chilling tale of worst case scenarios. I hope A and R can somehow recover and lead normal lives. A serious indictment of the corrupt Italian injustice system and the role the media frenzy played in aiding the prosecution.. Shame shame shame shame............

11. You People have not idea what you are taliking about - SHE DIDNT DO IT!!!!!!!! and by the way for thoes of you who have been saying that the wrote this right after it happened you are wrong she was in jail for years before she said anything to any one about what happened. And it's not her fault that they made movies about it there was enought information in the news to make a move out of it they didnt need her permistion to do it. And i can tell you this if i was accused for a murder i didnt commit i would want to get my voice out there any way i could to tell everyone that i didnt do it. They didnt do thier jobs right they just wanted to pin it on someone as fast as they could and because she was the first one home and she found her body they blamed her right away.

12. A Touching Page-Turner - I cannot even begin to imagine what it must have been like to he back through all of these grueling details after such a tragic event. Her bravery and courage are admirable and her store is heart-breaking. Those that lied and cheated to get her convicted are guilty of torture, theft and slander themselves and deserve a prison sentence! I hope with everything I have that Amanda wins this new trial. Although I can't imaging what they're going through, Kercher's family is insulting her memory by punishing her dear friend for a crime she did not commit. Good luck Amanda and Raffaele!!

13. Amazing story!! - Amazing story and I am truly taken back by Amanda's bravery. What an incredible nightmare for such a young girl to endure. I have visited Italy myself and I loved the country but I am in awe of the injustice that Amanda lived through. Her story is very well written and I hope she achieves all of her goals and dreams!
2013-11-17
14. Amazing - Amanda's tragedy and courage are equally astounding. The story seems like it should be unbelievable, and it's definitely hard to put down! It's very hard to read about how Amanda suffered and her friend died, but in the end Amanda even manages to find positive sides to how the ordeal helped her develop as a person. She very eloquent and at the same time relatable. Brava, Amanda!

15. Worth reading - This book was excellent. Reading about how corrupt the Italian justice system is and how she truly lived a nightmare for straight years really felt personal. This girl went through hell and back again. Her personal account is nail gripping and almost painful to read as I couldn't imagine remaining near as strong as Amanda did. Definitely worth reading!

16. Nobody knows - I found out about this case a couple of years ago; at first I thought she was guilty but slowly I started to change my mind. I still can't believe she confessed she was there and heard the screams but you know what, nobody knows how they would react under pressure. I don't blame her for trying to make money as I am sure her family ended up broke after all the trips and the stay in Italy. She has stated the facts (that are not only positive aspects from her), she has recognized her mistakes, always stating that the first victim is Meredith. We ALL have the right to defend ourselves and again nobody knows what she really went trough, all we have is news reports and this book...

17. Waiting to be Heard - This book is very well done! Brava to the author for having the courage to rewind the tape, dredge up the past and re-live a nightmare. As a lawyer and a US citizen, I was shocked by what went on in the Italian courtroom in the name of "justice". It makes me very appreciative of the Constitution and the American court system. The United States really is a great country. Although I found it easy to be critical of Amanda for her many missteps along the way, I quickly reminded myself that I was judging her from my year-old vantage point--with a law degree and plenty of life experience behind me. To be fair, at the age of , I'm sure that I was just as naive and trusting that those in authority would do the right thing! Thinking back to the media coverage of the trial and the appeal, I remember thinking she must have been guilty. The power of an aggressive media cannot be underestimated! After seeing Amanda interviewed by Chris Cuomo on CNN, I totally changed my mind. I assess the credibility of witnesses everyday in my job, and I knew that she was telling the truth. It was then that I decided to read the book, and I am so glad that I did!

18. Not for a second ... - ... do I believe this woman murdered anyone. The story Italy cooked up is nuts. If you understand psychology, you'd know that it is not uncommon to have "inappropriate behavior" during times of stress. It seems like that was what she was convicted on, by both the Italian Court system and American and other nay-sayers as well. I'm looking forward to reading her book. She won't be making any money on this book, now that Italy has decided Double Jeopardy only happens when they want it to. She's still going to have years of legal wrangling and legal fees to pay, and THAT is just one more travesty in this case. As an American citizen, I am incensed at the treatment she was forced to endure at the hands of another country's inept policing. For those of you think otherwise, you'd better retire your passports forever because this could just as easily happen to you. Stay strong, Amanda! ... and after finishing reading this book, I REALLY can't understand how this happened. Those idiots in Italy still seem to be ruled by hysterical, witch-hunt mentalities, and they truly disgust me. I'm Italian American, and if I ever had a desire to visit the home of my ancestors, I sure as hell don't now. It makes me so furious that Amanda and Rafaelle had to endure this. But I am so happy that they are strong of will and have refused to let it ruin their lives. They have overcome the worst imaginable betrayal. May a plague of bleeding, weeping warts overtake the Perugian police force and court and cause them unspeakable pain and torment for the rest of their lives. May no happiness ever dwell upon them, and may they all go to their graves the wretched creatures they are and burn in Hell for an eternity for letting their egos overpower justice.

19. Waiting to be Heard - Amanda's personal story relates how a young, optimistic and enthusiastic American girl is thrust into situations that she is too naive to recognize as dangerous. It should be required reading for adventurous girls and boys. Amanda deserves high praise for her endurance in jail and her ability to convert her undeserved punishment into a bestseller. Hopefully, the book's profits will repay some of her family's debts.

20. Well written, must read! - I have followed this case closely, to the point that when in Italy last month the sound of the police sirens made me think of Amanda. Curious about what the Italians thought I asked a cab driver his thoughts on the case and after a very long pause he said, "the Italian government is very corrupt" and I concur. It is just scary the way people follow the lead of someone in power. Kinda like The Holocaust. I once heard Amanda's friend Madison say that the charges against Amanda say more about the man making the charges than about Amanda. Well put I thought because Mignini's theory is so out there it is hard to believe that people in this day and age believe it. And the fact that all of the DNA points to Guede and he was given a reduced sentence, is just hard to comprehend. This along with the charges for abuse of power leveled at Mignini with a subsequent guilty verdict makes this government look downright foolish for continuing on this band wagon. I am disheartened that the Supreme Court has opted to retry this case. So sad that all parties involved, including Meredith's family and the Sollecito's, will have to endure this again.

21. Excellent, excellent. Page turner - I don't think IBooks should allow people who did not purchase the book to write malicious and judgmental reviews based on their preconceived opinions. Back to the book, I was indifferent about whether Amanda Knox was guilty or innocent before I purchased this book. Like most people, I thought her reaction post-murder was rather strange, but such a reaction was not proof of guilt. I must admit that this book is a page turner! It is full of passion, anger, desperation, and hope. The title is so appropriate. After years of endurance, of having to put up with judgements, misconceptions, incompetence, and lies, Amanda Knox can finally tell her side of the story. I truly believe you are innocent Amanda, and I am happy justice has ultimately been served. You've suffered enough and went through hell for a crime I believe you did not commit. The Italian justice system wants to extend this unfairness, yet again, probably because they miss the attention. Don't go back!!! Best of luck, and I'm sorry for what you went through.

22. Waiting to be Heard - It was so nice to be able to read the truth from Amanda Knox. I always knew in my heart she was innocent and it was great to hear the real truth from her. I am horrified how she was arrested by the Italians and had to be in jail for almost years before she was freed. I bought the book to support her and her family. Amanda did a good job writing with so many details about what happened to her.
2013-05-31
23. Waiting to Be Heard - Heart wrenching story of a young girl caught up horrific situation thousands of miles from her home and family. The story is speaks to the injustices of her prosecutors and the press that covered her. She displays remarkable courage and resiliency in overcoming staggering odds. I wish I could meet her in person simply to congratulate her for the way she conducted herself and obtaining her freedom. I truly hope her life going forward is marked with only happiness and joy.
2013-05-30
24. Convinced - I never really knew what had happened in Perugia, Italy on that fateful night, only what I had heard from news reports here and there. Nothing can bring Meredith back and whatever her family needs to think about her death to bring themselves some sort of peace is what they should do and or are doing. i would have wanted to speak to my daughters roomate. Unfortunately, Amanda's naivete kept her from proving her truth and innocence. I am sorry for all she and Raffaelle had to endure.

1. Informative but lacking substances - I read this book in the toilet or during work breaks and at times it could feel like a drag. The beginning of the book I did not like the character of Chris Kyle because he was simple minded but as he gain experience in the seals and beginning to live, he became more interesting. Overall, I felt this book was more of a "I am justified" then a book about him. He bottled a lot in and made it seem like it was a walk in the park. Even his training he watered it down to "it was rough".

2. American Sniper. Chris Kyle - A cross section of modern day war for an American patriot who was willing to sacrifice his life for our country. It’s about what he and others experienced to save our freedom giving their all while back home the people in the Republican Party have turned out to be worse and more dangerous to our democracy than those he and others fought on our behalf. I spit on those cowards for their ignorance and treason and prey that when it comes time to make the last stand to fight against them we have men like Chris Kyle to fight on our side.

3. American Sniper - Excellent account of Chris Kyle’s life as a Seal and family man. He told us about his struggles as he mixed his life in the military and as a husband and father. It ends with testimonials from friends and team mates of their relationship with this hero and friend. His tragic death leaves us with the pain of losing this man as if we knew him. An easy read that keeps you coming back wanting more and more from Chris Kyle, Sniper and Chris Kyle, husband and dad. RIP.

4. One of the most heartwarming eye opening books I have ever read - I loved this book from the moment I picked it up to the last page. My only regret is that I never had a chance to meet this amazing person. Chris Kyle was an American hero and an amazing father, husband and friend to all those lives that he touched. To say that the only the good die young is an understatement. I could go on and on, but I will end with Chris Kyle is my hero! God bless him and his Family.

5. Absolutely amazing - This is more than just an autobiography, it is a deeper look into a great mans life that he dedicated to protecting and serving this country as well as the sacrifices and hardships he faced between country and family. As you read through the various parts of Chris' life you almost feel as if you personally know him and his family. I encourage anyone even considering reading this to do so. It will shed light on so much more than just a war. I purchased this yesterday around or PM and at :PM the next day I am writing a review of the book. Well worth the read and there are some strong messages in it that will make you rethink your life.

1. Weird - This book is a bizarre mixture of garbage and insight. For example, the author spends way too long on the idiotic and absurd rumor that Meghan faked her pregnancy. But she does offer insight into why the US and UK reacted differently to the Sussexes’ behavior, and calls out some of Meghan’s myth making (Proctor & Gamble didn’t really change their ad because of her). The book also badly needed an editor.
2020-11-02
2. Not What I Expected for a Meghan Fan - It is clear this book was written to discredit and disrespect the Royal Family. If this is written supposedly from indirect resources, it really doesn’t seem that way. It truly seems too good to not be direct spoon-fed details from Meghan and Harry. Either that, or “friends” who blabbed personal details could only provide this kind of gossip. I’ve loved Meghan from her days in Suits...but this book cements a shallow, entitled, Hollywood mindset. This unfortunately does not pair Harry in a good light. I regret buying this. It really is a slap in the face to The Queen, Prince Charles, and Prince William.
2020-08-26
3. Finding Freedom - I purchased the book a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed reading about Harry and Meghan’s journey in Finding Freedom. It is heart breaking to see their struggles and desire to break free from an antiquated regimen (The Firm) of royals living off the back of British tax payers. It also blows my mind to read the book’s narrative on the British media’s unrelenting demonization on Meghan a hard working American Actress and woman of color who married a Prince rather than on Andrew a man who preys on young girls and disgraced The Firm. I’m purchasing hard copies of this book as birthday and Christmas gifts to support the author for having the courage to speak TRUTH. Hoping this couple and sweet baby Archie SURVIVE the exit and THRIVE in the process!

4. Predictable but Enjoyable Read - With the rest of the world, I’ve been intrigued with H&M’s relationship since the public first learned of it. While I was already well-aware of the events that took place after their coming out, it was fascinating to read about their initial courtship, the many private trips they took, and the lengths that both of them would take to make their relationship work and kept under wraps in its early days. Additionally, it was fun to read about the tiny instances and passing facts that we would otherwise never hear about. This book essentially confirms what we were all waiting to hear: that the royal family was indeed quite cold to Meghan, that the media storm was relentless and had a huge toll on her behind closed doors, and that most of what we read in the headlines was blown out of proportion. Overall, while I would say that I didn’t learn as much as I had expected to from reading this book, it was a fast and enjoyable read!

5. Pretentious with no real insight - I went into reading this with an open mind, genuinely curious to learn more about the Duke & Duchess. Unfortunately this reads like a string of all previous press articles that have been written about the pair, offering only shallow embarrassing details that paint them both in unflattering light with no real insight or new information to glean. Numerous inconsistencies abound; Megan claims they dated secretly for six months prior to the press finding out, despite her own timeline that puts it at barely four months. Or the pair being so eco-conscious as to Harry declining plastic lids on his drink cups, but Megan having no qualms borrowing a friend’s private jet to fly to London early in their courtship to visit him. The overall tone of the book is of whiny complaints of negative treatment from the press and royal family, again despite evidence to the contrary of the royal family treating Megan much differently than past girlfriends/wives. If this was supposed to be the couple’s attempt to tell their side of the story...yikes! The abundance of celebrity name-dropping, luxury brand shout-outs, and over the top expenses mentioned constantly throughout only reinforces the opinion of them as entitled, spoiled out-of-touch figures, and glaringly contradicts their efforts of proving themselves to be charitable saints out to change the world. While they may in fact do plenty of admirable charitable work, this book doesn’t focus on that nor highlights any of it not already known to the public. This book seems to be a huge wasted opportunity for the Sussexes to actually portray their own narrative and fails to shift perception of them in any positive way.

1. Excellent Read - I always liked Mr. Powell. After reading this book I am honored to know more about this incredible man. It’s full of great information about his life and many experiences. I learned a lot about how the military and government work and how the media can jump the gun on information they receive and not follow up on to ensure the information is correct.
I highly recommend this book and I wish this book was required reading for all high school students.

2. It Worked for Me - Absolutely awesome book on leadership from one of our greatest leaders in American history. I wish that every child, teen, and all aspiring leaders would be exposed to this great book. I've read countless books on leadership but consider this to be the best thus far...bar none. A heartfelt thank you to Mr./General/Secretary Colin Powell!

3. Self-control - This book teach you big lesson about how you can get angry yet accomplish and overcome the adversity by thinking beyond your ego. It is true leadership at best because you will meet people and they will make you mad sometime "so get over it" as General Powell said is the key to keep friendship. Even in the bible we are warn not to keep angry to sunset... This is a great leadership book.

1. Hey “ Star Shibumi” - You must have read some other book before reviewing this one. This guy is the opposite of arrogant, in fact, he is one of the most self-effacing Seals I’ve read so far. Comes across relatable and authentic. Good stories. Makes me wonder if you even read the book or if you just have it out for Seals.

2. Interesting story - There is a lot to like about this story: a) It's a leadership tale that describes a common problem as leaders grow in an organization - how hard it is to transition from one level to another. Even in an elite SEAL unit that trains leaders and spends a lot of money building teams, people have a hard time making this transition. The description of the author's initial failure to make this transition and his recovery are worth reading.
b) It's a war tale that shows the importance of family, the brutality of war, the apathy of many Americans to our wars and our vets, and how hard work, support, and determination can help injured vets recover. c) Finally, it's a tale of personal triumph, of overcoming faults, and rebuilding one's life. Despite that, it wasn't worth the read because it wasn't that well written. Much of the story was rather banal and trite. And it was very hard to like Mr. Redman. He is clearly a hero and deserves our support and praise, but he comes across as an egotistical, opinionated individual, with whom I wouldn't like to spend very much time. I bought the book to support a vet. Unless you are a diehard SEAL fan, I can't think of any other reason to buy or read it.

3. Excellent book! Could not put it down. - It has all the stuff you would expect from a warrior. There is also a love story or two in the book. The love this man has for his country, team mates and his family is all over the the stories. Thanks Jay for serving and sacrificing for us all and thank you Erica for standing by your man no matter what. You are both incredible.
2015-05-30
4. Captivating - I heard Lt. Redman speak during a men's breakfast at my church. His story was one of honor, strength, and determination. This story provides a great overlay of action in the battlefield with a man struggling with the responsibility of leading the most motivated, over achieving men in the world. This book is set apart from others by Naval Seals with one word, humility. Jay peals back all the layers of his life for a look inside a man fighting himself. Thank you for sharing your life with us. God Bless you and your family, and thank you for your service.
2015-03-22
5. Leadership insights few will ever experience directly - Some components of leadership are universal. However, Lt. Redman and Mr. Burning write from a perspective most of us will never have. The leader that Lt. Redman strived to be literally held lives in his hands. I am better for having read The Trident and I thank these gentlemen for sharing it.
2014-09-07
6. The Trident - The Trident may be one of the best books I have ever read. It deals with Warrior life on all levels. Most importantly, it exemplifies the courage to transcend from a survivor, to a Legend. I am truly humbled by Jason Redman. God bless you and your family. And please realize that there are plenty of Americans that are so thankful for the sacrifice you and your Brothers have made, so we may sleep peacefully through the night.

1. A tale of extraordinary courage - Wow -a dramatic very well written tour de force with clarity of descriptions that vividly convey the experience of chronic deprivation the pangs of starvation fear anxiety and suffering. How this orphaned little child survived is as astonishing as her courage and will. Its a very sad emotive story and despite eventual immigration to the US it is clear the trauma to her soul of what she saw and endured will never fully heal. This in one of the most impactful books i have ever read and i offer humble thanks to Ms. Loung Ung for sharing her story with me and the world. We must all continue the never ending fight against evil corrupt incompetent uncaring governments because as long as there are evil and terribly misguided men as there continue to be, this type of disaster can certainly recur.

2. Emotional - This book was important for me to read to learn about my family’s history and the history of Cambodia. Reading this I became more aware. It also helped me connect to Cambodia through Loung‘s descriptions. It was well written and I’m glad that it became a movie. Overall, best book I’ve EVER read.

3. Moving and heartbreaking - It's hard to "review" a book like this; the author's ability to retro her experiences in her own childhood narration highlights how harrowing her experience was. The confusion and loss. It's very hard hitting and difficult to accept at times, and at times angering, that such horrible things could happen. It's also inspiring to see her come through it all. Very moving.

1. Restoration of faith - This book touched me on so many different levels. It took me a long time to read, not because it was a hard read, but because I became so emotionally involved with Taya’s messages. This book encouraged me to lean on my faith more than I ever had before, and quite frankly I couldn’t have read it at a more important time in my life.

2. American Wife - So hard to put down! My heart continues to ache for Taya. Her recounting of the worst experience any wife can possible imagine was gripping and raw and made it hard to breathe through the tears. Her strength and determination to continue to persevere is inspiring and humbling. Thank you for sharing your love and your strength. I am blessed to have read this book.

3. Love - I'm way behind with the book reading. I started this book yesterday afternoon and finished it in a day. I cried, I laughed, and I smiled. My husband serves and was in a helicopter accident last Labor Day that honestly nobody should have survived it. So I can relate to her worrying while he was deployed. But I too had to keep it together for my kids. This book was beyond amazing and I seriously loved it and throughly enjoyed it. Now to read American Sniper. I've had both books since May just now getting ready to read them.

4. Courage and Bravery at its finest - This was an absolutely awesome book! I couldn't put it down. Taya Kyle shows tremendous courage and bravery in what she is going through. She is very open and honest (as was Chris Kyle in American Sniper) in everything she wrote. I cried lots of tears and my heart goes out to this family. I pray for God's many blessings over them.

It is such an interesting look into the eyes of the families of our military, it opens your eyes to everything they go through on a different level. Sad, heartbreaking actually, but worth the read. 9. Amazing! - I pre ordered this book, and I am thrilled I did. I have seen Taya speak, and know what a strong woman she is, but this book shows that even more. There is truly something for everyone to take away. We have all had loss, pain, struggles, and at times felt our Faith was being tested. This is as real as it gets! 10. American Wife is one of the most remarkable memoirs of the year - An amazing book, probably the most touching, thought provoking and honest example of what really happens in life I have ever read and one that speaks to me in almost as many ways personally. Love, trust , heartbreak, grief, betrayal, faith, family and friendship it's all here.... raw and honest and in my personal experience how it really happens.
Taya Kyle - American Wife, shares their private story: an unforgettable testament to the power of love and faith in the face of war and unimaginable loss--a moving tribute, then the strength of a women facing insurmountable odds and the dedication, resilience, determination and faith to grieve, cope, rise from the ashes, the bravely move forward to over-come in SEAL tradition. "The only easy day was yesterday," could never be farther from he truth.
American Wife is one of the most remarkable memoirs of the year -- a universal chronicle of love and heartbreak, service and sacrifice, faith and purpose that will inspire every reader.
They say behind every great man is a great pillar of a women and this book will take you there. My highest, highest recommendation. If there is one book you read this year this should be it.

12. American Wife - Breathtaking - Everything about this book draws you in and completely consumes you. It was so easy to get lost in it and lose track of how much you've read. Being a former military wife, it brought back the pain and fear of your spouse deploying and having to entertain the idea of death and how to possibly overcome it, if it ever came down to that. It's something no one should ever have to think about or endure. Taya perfectly captures those emotions and her sharing her life and experiences with Chris was truly amazing to read and get wrapped up in. Even through the pain of the book, it was absolutely beautiful. God Bless you and your children, Taya Kyle.

15. Always Wondered - Brilliantly wrote, leaves you wanting to know even more. Raw and sometimes unreal, the book draws you in and for an instant you feel the pain. Proud that Taya could come forward and write something amazing as this. There aren’t many books out there showing families picking up the pieces after their loved one is gone. A must read. I will read again, I’m sure of it.
