1. Get this album! - From back when music was melodic and fun. Without any doubt in my mind, this is one of the preeminent albums of the 's. Mambo Sun is one of the most under-rated songs of all time in my opinion. And if you like this, get Sweet's Desolation Boulevard. Then if you haven't already (which is hard to imagine), get Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick road, and what else do you really need? It's hard to believe how much higher the bar was set back then, isn't it?

3. Revelutionized Music - A fantastic album that brought Tyranasaurus Rex into the electric age, not sure what they are talking about when they mention a spilt from his bongo player but he was with the band up until Marc's death. A truly funky, cosmic, rock album. I grew up with T. Rex and loved everything they did even in the early years. You now hear his music, Bang A Gong, th Centry Boy, in advertisments today. Take a look at the ITunes essentials for T.Rex it's realy groovy man.

5. Cosmic Boogie Rock - Marc Bolan and company really groove on this album, it's wonderful on many levels. Folksy at times, but always in motion; it's a lot deeper than you might first recognize. Just about every song is a winner, from Mambo Sun to the bonus tracks. Along with their album "The Slider," Electric Warrior sets the tone for a lot of 's music yet to come. Great album.

6. One of the best of the 's and beyond - Picked this up on a whim a while back, and I quickly realized that it's one of the best albums I've ever heard. It is the blueprint for glam rock, but beyond that simply one of the best, most listenable, groovy, and addictive albums you'll ever hear. Pick up the remastered version if you can, as it has some great bonus tracks not included on the original release.

A New Generation of Punks... - For all of those young people out there who really are into punk rock music and who want to understand how punk even became a reality then you should listen to this album. This album is pure rock and roll and its raw, fun, and clever. Give it a chance because words can not really justify how enjoyable this record is to listen to. It's just a fun rock and roll record. Period.

8. One of the greatest... - ...records of all time. This record helps define an era. Some may know this band only from their excellent Stonesy hit "Bang a Gong," but this is no one hit wonder band. Not only are all the songs on this record great, but they have at least two other great records--the Slider and Tanx and some other great singles like Ride a White Swan, Debra, Children of the Revolution, th Century Boy. This is a good place to start though!

9. T. Rextasy is as good as it gets! - There is no doubt in my mind that T. Rex was one of the greatest bands of the s. Frontmen don't get better than Marc Bolan! His energy, creativity, and captivating personality translate into this amazing album. From songs like Mambo Sun to Rip Off, his talent is insanely apparent. His vocals are unmatched by any other and his style is energetic and sexy.

10. Great - Exceptional. Without T-Rex, where would we have gone with music? David Bowie, Elton John, Queen, Punkers, post-punk, New Wave et al owe their careers to this one band. An entire generation of Brits moved from the "normal" rock & roll show and demanded not only great music, but even greater entertainers.

1. Magical - I first heard this album as a kid when my parents jammed out to it. I saw the film Billy Elliot years later, which featured tracks from this album, I bought the CD and jammed out. Years went by who knows what happened to that CD. I recently received an iPhone & started building my music collection from nothing since I haven't really used the whole MP thing much before. Anyway this was the first complete album I purchased and one of the only that I can listen to track by track front to back and love every song and can listen to repeatedly! T Rex your music is magical and it cast a spell on me!!

2. T Rex Rox - Electric Warrior is great. Upon first glance, the cover (with Marc standing in front of a large arsenal of amplification) makes you think that the music will be an attack on your senses. But the arrangements are tasteful and cool, with very catchy guitar licks. Hey Itunes: Where are The Slider and Tanx?

3. Amazing. - you either "get" it ... or you don't, if you don't "get" it the album is a killer party record ...provided your friends are comfortable in there own skin. However, if you do get this record ... it might very well fundamentall alter your life, like the first time you "got" what rock'n'roll was all about to begin with.

4. Great Album. - Great Album; neccesary to anybody with any interest in glam rock. In fact, T.Rex basically started glam rock. :D Interesting and original lyrics, catchy guitar, Marc's unique voice is phenominal. If you aren't interested in buying the whole album, be sure to give Rip Off, Planet Queen, Jeepser, and of course their pop hit Bang a Gong a listen. (:

5. amazing - I can listen to this album while doing almost anything. I wash my dishes to it. I take road trips with it. I put it on while I am making my breakfast or dinner or hanging out with friends. I am completed baffled that the average rating of this album is so low. I can listen to "Cosmic Dancer" alone on repeat for hours.

1. A tasty trifle - I remember people being disappointed with this when it came out after the amazing Ziggy and Aladdin. And it is a trifle -- but an awfully tasty and tasteful one. Bowie's choice of s songs to cover is impeccable, and he does great jobs with almost all of them. A bit like Satanic Majesties, it was an anomaly that took people a while to appreciate on its own terms. Not one of his world-shakers, but very good anyway.

2. Disappointing - The Aladdin Sane album turned me on to David Bowie songs and Mick Ronson’s guitar play. After purchasing Aladdin Sane I purchased PinUps LP when I was a teenager when it was released. I was so disappointed in this LP. What was he thinking here? It sure seemed like he ran out of his own songs and just pushed out an album to please the record label. Mick Ronson’s talent on guitar was wasted here if you ask me. Look to older or newer albums of Bowie for better music.

1. - Last Song with Mick Ronson - This is a very good record. However, it spells the departure of Mick Ronson and David Bowie. Mick worked on a few songs on this album for sure but was not involved in the studio recordings. If you search youtube, you can find a video of Mick playing with David on . I guess Mick may have wanted to spread his wings and go solo around this time. None the less, this is arguably the last of the classic Ziggy sounding records that David would create. Many of these songs are found on the Live Bowie album in Phily when David went touring. After the live album, I kind of lost interest in Bowie. You get older and music changes.

2. Diamond Dawgs-bow wow woof woof! - This is the one that really got me going. I love Ziggy & Aladin Sane but this hit me hard. The album cover the songs the show. the George Orwell tone, really hit me because i had just read at the time. Not a bad song on this gem-Title track-Rock & Roll With me, ,Rebel, Rebel ,Big brother. We are the Dead is haunting , love this record-One of his BEST!!!

1. No Album Price? - Why does this BCR album on iTunes not have a price to purchase the entire album? Does iTunes seriously expect me to pay well over $ for this download, purchasing each song individually? Or is that the reason why the download all price isn't available? Either way, this is the only album on iTunes I've ever seen without a way to buy the entire album at one time. Too bad, too. I'd love to buy it. But I'm not going to if it'll cost me $ to do it. I'd rather buy the physical CD for that price. By the way, the music is great. My rating is for iTunes not enabling me to buy it.

THIS is what you want- the originals - The BCR's were one of the hottest teen idol bands when I was a child- you couldn't turn on an AM transistor radio without hearing "Money Honey", "Saturday Night", or "Rock and Roll Love Letter". These are ALL the original radio plays/album cuts you may also remember ( not the cover band reissues a lot of these MP sites tend to load up on). IF you want the stuff that was popular in '-', you wanna get this whole album- a definitive collection.

4. THIS is the Bay City Rollers - As a purist, I'm appalled by the 'other' BCR recordings, I guess done by "Eric Faulkner and HIS Bay City Rollers". Well those are not MY BCR's. This album is. Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, Les is the only lead singer the BCR's ever had. And this album is a great collection.

1. Still sounds great--not dated at all - This is a great example of what 's glam-rock from Britain sounded like, and it still sounds good today. Good vocals and harmonies with guitars that sound like they're just about ready to crunch right through your speakers. You can see how this album and this band influenced so many others that followed. Don't forget that in the early s, songs like "AC-DC" were, shall we say, a bit bawdy and titillating. But that's not the focus of the album. The music is what counts and this is an album that rocks! Probably their best and most well-known album. The fact that it is under $ is the bonus!

1. The Last Vegas never fail - Always excited to see a new release from The Last Vegas. This one shows their writing music and singing talent. I've been a huge fan since the beginning. It's another direction for them and if you have followed them, this shows their journey. They are a bunch of talented musicians and writers and this cd shows that's. EAT ME stands on its own as a fantastic compilation of music I highly suggest buying anything by The Last Vegas They cover so many levels of music you will never be disappointed by anything they do. I hope you have the enjoyment of seeing them in person as I have.

2. Bad Decision - Boy, what a let down. Really disappointed with this weak effort. Maybe one or two of the songs could pass for decent but for the most part it is pretty bad. Love most of their other releases. What happened here? Whoever mixed this disc did a horrible job. Most of the lyrics are hard to understand. Maybe that is that is the way they wanted it. Not much to be positive about. Looks like Chad has popped his cherry. Can I get a refund?

1. Wasn’t expecting to find you... - Sort of like a crush on a fellow commuter, I found this album in a scroll and did a double-take. Clicked on it for the artwork, stayed for the samples—listened to all of them, all the way through (I rarely do that). And, of course, purchased. Definitely picking up on the inspiration and references but it’s fresh and stands alone as it’s own solid work. I have a feeling I’ll be revisiting this album for a long time!

1. What a revelation... - How interesting that I've lived all my life without hearing about this artist. His life was so tragic and I cried a little when I heard he was a victim of the early-mid s AIDS crisis. This album, which was done before his other two albums which received some polishing, shows him at his most quaint and yet, outlandish talented glamour! This album is a part of gay history. It's as good as anything Bowie did before Ziggy Stardust. Jobriath was a shooting star!
