1. Hei Bao is great - I did a project on this band when I was a sophomore in High School, and had never listened to their music, even while doing the project. Now, after listening to the band, more than three years after doing the project, I've found that they are extremely talented, and write some fantastic music. If you don't mind the lyrics being in a different language, and you like mellow classic rock ballads, then Hei Bao is for you.

1. Perfect album in any language - Of course, most people aren't familiar with WuBai, but he's easily the most versatile songwriter in Taiwan, if not in Asia. This album particularly shows the high level of his musicianship. I loved this album before I could understand it (it in Chinese), and loved it even more after I knew what he was saying. The only possible criticism is that it's too diverse. But if you're not familiar with Chinese rock, or think you don't like it, you must check this album out. Particularly good are tracks , and .

Incredible Chinese musical artist, defying the restrictive norms of Chinese popular music - In the musical landscape of China, known for its bland uniformity, restrictiveness and lack of bold creativity, this album presents a unique blend of melancholy and rebelliousness, pushing the limits of Chinese musical norms in ways so desperately needed in its musical industry. Similar to Radiohead, the vague, ambiguous lyrics serve to deepen the dark, dreamlike sound of the music, although the melodies can be appreciated in their own right even without comprehension of the lyrics. I would love to hear more music from Zhang Chu, but unfortunately he isn't showing up on the musical radar as far as I can see.

1. LLH - Brilliant! Breathtaking! Inspiring! Ambitious! Lion, a self-titled album released in Sep. , is the debut album of the Taiwanese rock band Lion. However prior to the formation of the band, the lead vocalist and pianist Jam Hsiao has been recognized as a pop megastar since in all Chinese-speaking countries and territories, with eight well received solo studio/ concert albums and especially with his live stage performance. Despite his pop icon status, Jam was determined to once again pursue his love towards rock music. Jam composed music and wrote lyrics for all ten songs in this album while all four members contributed to the hit single Lion. This is the rock band would bring revolutionary impact to the Chinese rock n roll. Highly recommend!

1. Find there full length Album - I found n album of these guys when I lived in Taiwan and it is awesome. This is one of the few Chinese bands that is pure crap. They actually know how to have fun with music as opposed to most of the pop driven filth that either bores you to tears and makes you want to kill yourself. And Tekwando is the perfect song to fight to.
