2. Ok what the hell - No real Beatles OR AC/DC? What is this crap?! If guitar hero and rockbamd can get all the legal stuff down and done with, WHY can't iTunes pull it off???? I mean seriously this is just getting stupid. I wasted like $ thinking this was the actual Beatles but obviously not. iTunes, GET IT TOGETHER
2010-05-13
3. Its ok - Being pretty much a die hard Beatles fan,(or use to be one) I do appeciate the fact that you didn't change the songs much like other groups do so times. I did think for a minute that they finally put The Beatles on Itunes now that Michael Jackson has been deceased for a while. Oh well, Oh well, I guess they are still figuring out all the legal stuff. I have to say that you (the singers) are not all that bad. Not anything compared to the real thing but not horid :). cheers! Another note to Itunes...I think people should be able to comment on other peoples reviews. Some are just blatantly making mistakes or stupid remarks or just plainly need editing!

5. Come on people! - These people aren't the Beatles and they obviously are not as good. If you want the Beatles music, go to the store and buy it. It wouldn't kill you to buy some real CDs once in a while. If you don't want to leave your house, buy it online. It's not on iTunes, but its in stores. They even remastered all of their albums and are selling them in box sets (Mono and Stereo) and sell the stereos individually in stores. People have to wake up and realize that not everything has to be bought digitally from your computer. I put this under star so people could find it.

6. iTunes REAL Beatles $$$$$$ for iTunes - this crap makes me SO MAD! and not just me but every one of your PAYING customers. why don't you guys have the REAL Beatles?! you're losing some serious money! and on top of that, you're also losing buyers. you people must get so sick of these comments so you know what to do to make them go away: REAL Beatles songs. you'd be doing us (and yourselves) a BIG favor. so please, the Beatles. that's all we ask
2010-02-26
7. Meh... - I obviously didn't want to buy this CD because it's a knock off of The Beatles. But what people need to do is cut iTunes some slack. Michael Jackson owned the rights to The Beatles' music so maybe there's an issue with that. They would get the music if they could, but they can't yet. So, chill.
2010-02-11
8. Chill out - Everyone needs to chill for a sec. Obviously these guys aren't the Beatles and they actually don't sound half bad. I'm not into cover bands myself but you have to respect the fact that these guys took the time to practice these songs. And if you leave a review with every word spelled wrong it makes everyone take you less seriously and more like a year old. I myself am and contrary to popular belief, not all teenagers listen to rap/hip hop. I love rock and the bealtes are the foundation of that. If you want them on your iPod that badly go buy the damn cd, don't criticize a band for playing their music.
2010-02-10
9. :( - they sound like crap. i heard that apple corps logo looks to alike the itunes apple logo and itunes doesnt want to put it on itunes. or Copywrite plus mj was the last to have the copywrite to the beatles songs and look mj is dead. (my suggestion is to buy the albums from stores thats what i did.

1. This is more than entertainment it's EDUCATION! - This is currently my favorite album! This is a God-centered album that provides an education about God that leads to adoration of God. You can learn more about God through one of these songs than you can from many Bible studies. I'm definitely going to use some of these songs as a part of my messages!
2012-07-20
2. Reverential Awe - I love Shai's emphasis in this album. He brings out the attributes of God in an honoring and reverential way. He brings home truths about God that really make me sit and meditate and end up praising God for what he's done in my life. For my first album from Shai, I'm certainly not disappointed!
2012-03-12
3. Check it! - I just purchased the album and when I got to track I just felt I need to write a review. Quality of the instruments/beats used is on par. The deep lyrics are delivered as expected from Shai Linne! I listen to the the crew (Trip Lee, Tedashi, Lecrae, ..etc) and I'm waiting for Shai and Reach Records to do a collabo. Botton Line: Get the album. It's worth it.
2012-02-10
4. Amazing - Theologically Astute & Lyrically Coherent - This is an amazing album. Anyone who cares for good, solid theological reflection (especially Reformed theology) should consider this album - even if you are not a rap/hip hop fan. This is not particularly my favorite genre of music, but this album is one of the best in my collection. Anyone who takes Scripture seriously should seriously consider this album. The theological reflection and musicality will blow you away! Shai Linne is not only an accomplished musician, but also clearly an astute theologian.
2012-01-17
5. love it - I got this album when it came out and I absolutely cannot stop listening to it. The Lord has gifted Shai greatly. This Christ-exalting music is by far the most theologically sound and doctrinally rich in the realm of Christian rap and maybe even Christian music. I have been blessed so much by this album. If you are looking for music that will help you meditate on our great God and draw closer to Him then buy this whole album. Every song will become a favorite.
2011-11-27
6. Substance - Christian Rap at its best. Whats important in our music? The content! Very biblical, God-Exalting work. I've been following Shai Linne music for some years and what I can testify is that his music is never a worldly "christianized" version of what the world offers. Great Job brother and God bless the work of your hands, Amen.
2011-11-21
7. Amazingly packed with solid theology! Lovin - I heard about Shai Linne on a podcast where he was being interviewed. I like what he had to say, so I downloaded this album without even listening to it. I read a few reviews and just pulled the trigger on the purchase. Very glad I did. It's like listening to preaching, but with a beat behind it. Great was to keep truth at the forefront of your mind. Good stuff. Look forward to more.
2011-11-18
8. To guy with Christology problems - The eternal Father indeed has an eternal Son. Not the man Jesus but the Logos who became flesh. Jesus is the flesh name of the Son who was Son before and continues to be the Son in the physical as well. The metaphors works both ways and is actually a clearer picture of sonship by which we understand our finite sonship and not the other way around. The use if Son is not merely an anthropomorphism. Te use of Son is true in every way except that the Father did not produce the Son as a creation but that the Son manifested Himself in the man Jesus the Christ and continues on that eternal Sonship while still upholding the universe by the power that is in the Logos that being the Word of God. The Father speaks the Son and the Word "became" flesh! It did not put on flesh but in the Greek "egeneto" became or manifested in the medium or substance and form of humanity. He is the ultimate image of God to which believers are being confirmed and is the very definition of humanity as Jesus is a perfect human; more human than We are but soon will be. Think harder about these things before you spout off because simplistic theology is the hotbed of heresy. God is beautifully simple yet unfathomable deep. You must dig deeper and read more.
2011-11-08
9. Oh wow - There is no beating around the bush with Shai Linne. I could give this albumn to an unsaved friend and by the time they finish the cd tears would be creating a little pond by their feet and they would have no choice but to accept Christ. This cd makes me love God more. That is what music should do!
2011-11-07
10. Well Intended Good Work But............ - Musical arrangement is superb! Lyrics are well put together and in the right place w/the accept ion of God having an actual physical son. God is One and Jesus can only be his son symbolically being that he was perfect and obeyed God's Law as a son would obey his Father. That is what would make Jesus "His son", the fact that he was obedient to the Lord who is the Father of all creatures and creation (originally), nothing more than that. The album would've been perfect if it wasn't for that small but Major flaw theologically. Be careful not to worship creation but the Creator and one would see things much clearer, God willing.

11. Deep, Bold, Doctrinal, Edifying - After being introduced to Shai Linne by his album "The Atonement" he quickly became my favorite Christian Rap/Hip-hop artist. I have not heard a song by him that I did not like. I always describe Christian Rap to people as if you are listening to a sermon rather than music, and that is true of this album. Of course to describe a musical album like that makes it seem dull and boring, but what I mean is that it is deep, convicting and edifying, in a way that plain music is not, and in many ways much of what Linne does is simply speak what the scriptures say. Other than the spiritual nature of my liking this album. It is awesome to listen to, it sounds good. I will say that I'm not a fan so much of the childrens choir being a part of some of the songs but that's just my preference. I do love the fact that Linne has so many featured artists in the album, it allows me to be able to discover more artists that I would have otherwise not.
2011-11-05
12. Atonement still rocks! - I love Shai Linne's work, especially his desire to preach through his art. From a lyrical point of view, I think Attributes of God is his best work. However, from a musical point of view, it is his worst. It does have its moments of musical beauty, but I feel like it's created--not from the arrangements or voices--but by the deep lyrics. Atonement was so mixed up and melodic, while this album has cheesy R&B influences. I only liked songs here. So keep it up Shai, you're great!...but try to add some grit and rock next time.
2011-11-04
13. Shai Linne is incredible - It's so tight to hear someone just rapping about God. Pointing to the Father and His glory and that seeing Him more clearly we would look like Him bringing Him all the more glory. Cor. : & John :-. Favorite rapper by far! When the sun comes out the stars are supposed to disappear. Soli Deo Gloria
2011-11-02
14. Excellent - I rarely feel the need to actually post an online review of any product but I was compelled to do so with this album. Well, this is not so much a review than an overall comment on the quality of the album. Any fan of the Lamp Mode family will surely feel more than satisfied with this concept project from Shai Linne. Those familiar with Shai already know he typically delivers the goods. Everything from the production, lyrics, and structure of the album is solid. Amazingly, ALL of the guest appearances actually enhance the album rather than detract from it. You know in many albums there's always that one guest MC that you want to fast forward past his or her verse...well maybe that's just me. Also, extra credit to the album for not mentioning the name of any secular artist in it (At least I don't recall hearing any name). That's a pet peeve of mine...Anyway, the album is INCREDIBLE. Cop it for yourself, gift it to a friend, foe, family...you get the point ;)

1. Tribute, tribute is the key word ,people! - I am so happy to have found this, I mean because most of the tributes to tool that are on iTunes are not that good. But this is as close to the original as you can get. Sure it is a little slower and his voice is lighter, but I still like it. I'm gonna get some hate for this, but I prefer this version of 'stinkfist' then the original. People keep complaint that it isn't tool, well no duh, it is a tribute album. If you could get any of the songs from this album, make them 'stinkfist' and 'parabol'.
2015-06-20
2. Think About It - This Album is obviously not Tool. That's the first and only thing you need to know. It will not sound like Tool. It is acoustic covers. Comparing this to Tool is idiotic. The artist here wanted to give the songs his own bit of sound. Personally I think he did a fantastic job, and being as I quite enjoy alternative rock, indie, classic, and most other genres of rock music, songs like Sober off this album sound totally fantastic to me. If you don't want to read all that, fine. All I have to say, is don't expect this to BY TOOL.
2014-08-25
3. Get REAL tool music ITunes!!!!! - iTunes! What is wrong with you!!? How can you not have one TOOL album? NOT a TRIBUTE to Tool album, a TOOL album. You know, a album that's ACTUALLY by Tool. I could understand you guys not having a Tool album if Tool was a NEW band that JUST started. But they released their first album in . That's YEARS!! OVER YEARS!! YEARS you guys have had to put Tool albums and music videos on ITunes and you guys STILL to this day, this day January , , you guys have STILL not put REAL Tool music on here!!!! I mean come on! Tool is a MAGNIFICENT band that needs to be put on the ITunes Store TODAY. Or VERY VERY VERY soon! I mean, you guys are freaking ITunes!! Possibly the most widely known Online music store in the WORLD. Not only THAT. But you are working for possibly one of the biggest COMPANIES in the WORLD TOO, known as freaking APPLE!! So with that being said, I'm MORE than guaranteed that you guys can get some REAL Tool music on the ITunes Store. NOT this crap of a tribute band. PLEASE do it VERY soon.
2014-01-16
4. this album is fine - it's a solid cover album. if you were expecting tool... on iTunes... you probably aren't a serious enough fan to know that they wouldn't put their music on here. If you knew they were covers but still insult this band for not copying the songs exactly, then you should probably be less judgmental. If you are a true music lover and you judge music based on its musical quality then congratulations, you are rational. this album is fine. it's a solid reinterpretation of tool in a very mellow almost coffee shop vibe. worth a listen.
2013-05-06
5. Tribute to the greatest band in the world - This is a solid tribute to TOOL. For all of those giving this a star rating you need to get over the fact that iTunes does not or will never have TOOL. This is a decision by the band not iTunes. Give the artist a break, it's not his fault that the best songs in the Universe have already been written and the only thing left to do is pay homage to them.
2012-12-16
6. Put your music online!!! - Tool not putting their music on any online resource is so annoying!! They have successfully made it easier for "tribute bands" to bask in the success of their music. I would rather listen to authentic tool music rather than these tribute albums. Making your music available to fans is not "selling out".
It's even more annoying because it almost seems like the whole idea behind withhold their music from online distribution channels will "raise the demand" and ultimately end up in a big payoff when it is finally released.
2012-10-13
7. If only.. - Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if Tool actually put their music on iTunes. I'm not sure where I'd stand on that issue. It'd either be a great accessibility to their fans or it would resort in the stereotypical "you sold out !" backlash. Perhaps Tool are being smart by withholding their music from iTunes because if they released all of their material at the perfect time, their record sales would go through the roof. Kind of like the times that Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson were finally released on iTunes their sales went sky high. But I've got hard copies of all of Tool's music anyway, so really I'm not twisting in my chair for them to release their material on iTunes. This cd is pretty decent. I'm not going to say it's "better" or "worse" than the String Quartet Tribute, but it's pretty good. The style of the covers makes me think of an early Industrial/EBM style. If you're a big Tool fan and need something to listen to in a fit of boredom, this might not be a bad way to kill some time. I don't know if I'd necessarily pay $. for it, but it's not a bad cd by any means.
2012-09-21
8. From a Tool fan - Honestly being a tool fan and listening to this just makes me want to kill myself. It's not that the music is bad it's just you can't recreate tools awesomeness, but good try though. I recommend listening and buying the the original Tool. It's well worth the money to buy the actual CD's.
2012-07-03
9. A few things... - First of all, TOOL is my favorite band on earth. No one could reproduce TOOL's wonderful music, so don't expect some Tribute band to try. They took it and gave it their own spin, it's NOT the same song, it's just a new way to look at it. It actually sounds GOOD, just because it doesn't resemble TOOL doesn't mean it isn't good. Second of all, stop blaming iTunes for not having TOOL, it's TOOL who refuses to put their music online. TOOL will not sell out to iTunes, ever, and it's not fair to call employees at iTunes idiots because of that. I'm sure iTunes has contacted MJK and asked for him to put TOOL on iTunes, but MJK has refused, probably multiple times. Chill.
2012-04-02
10. Shutup!!! - Tool chooses not to release their music on iTunes, leave it be, if all you ignorant p i s s heads own their CDs already just add it to your iTunes library yourself, simple as that, thank you, if you knew anything about Tool you'd knew they didn't want to release to apple, as for the quartet, as an artist I respect all forms of art, I like their covers, more original than hearing some guy on an acoustic singing Tool in their Glee style glory xP
2012-03-23
11. Pretty Good - Very good covers, most of them, especially Stinkfist and Parabola. But to randomdude, wanting easy access to Tool makes you a poser fan? I personally own all Tool's CD's and love their artwork and all that, but it all comes down to the music. There is no such thing as a "poser fan". If you like a band, you like a band, whether you believe this or that or whether you're captivated by the art of their music or not. I love Tool and though I personally own all their CD's, I would take strong personal offense in being reference as a poser fan if I didn't.

1. Ehhh.. - The only thing I did like about this was the guitar solo in stairway to heaven, but the guys voice kinda bugs me. I don't agree with some of u calling this the best tribute band for led zep. Some tribute bands take their own spin on the songs, which I like, and these guys try to sound just like Zeppelin, especially the singer. But the thing is, they don't. The instruments were somewhat ok, the solo for stairway was pretty good. But the singers voice blows
2014-12-28
2. yep . . . zep - I only bought Kashmir . . . but I like this cover version very much . . . the guys did a great job. I won't get all the songs mostly cos I don't like hearing the same voices covering a group's songs on one album. There's another compilation of Zeppelin songs that I have . . . just bought the CD . . . "Encomium" . . . covers by Henry Rollins, Hootie and the Blowfish, Blind Melon, Helmet w/David Yow . . . and more . . . CD cost $ shipping
2013-02-18
3. There freaken great - They are the closest thing were ever gonna get from the real Zepplin. These guys are amazing live and if you haven't seen them I really recommend you should. The lead singer looks and moves just like Plant does when he's on stage. It's ridiculous. So all of you kids stop complaining and appreciate.
2010-12-26
4. led zepagain - you know...I appreciate the interpretation of other musicians...you never know what others may have felt that the original band didn't....I play a few instruments and if I play a cover song, I do it my way....that is the beauty of creative ownership....if you are stuck on only the band you have originally heard a song from, open your mind....you may really be surprised at what other can do with a song
2010-01-08
5. Leave these poor people alone! - why don't you people rate albums based on HOW THEY ACTUALLY SOUND THERE MUSICAL VALUE and not because they arn't the real thing. i bought this entire album and i was extremely impressed with the recording quality (which was a actually a little bit BETTER then the Original ) and there skills in replicating Led Zeppelin's sound almost perfectly. FIVE STARS!
2008-12-07
6. Barf On A Stick - Oh. My. Goodness. This isn't a tribute to Led Zeppelin, it's an attack on them! I'm sorry, but in immigrant song, when they do that kinda like thing, idk how to explain it but just listen to it and you'll see that they sound like a really odd trumpet-like siren. And They massacred Stairway To Heaven. It seems like a band that would parody the songs, not try their darndest to re-create them. And so I ask you- Is this really a tribute? Making wonderful songs sound like a teen garage band?
2008-11-28
7. its not bad - the music isnt morged into crud, but the singer doesnt even sound like hes from europe!!!!!! how do you sond like some one if your accent is different? yeah, lets have someone from australia sing a song that someone from england sings. AT LEAST PICK SOMEONE FROM ENGLAND INSTEAD OF A RANDOM AMERICAN
2008-06-10
8. ok - Led Zepagain was a fantastic cover for when the real songs weren't on the store, but I'm letting everyone know that the real versions are now on the iTunes store so dont waste ur money here. Their version of stairway heaven is just a disgrace though. But it's ok because that's just of those songs that no can play like the original. P.S. Giants OWN!
2008-02-07
9. Great replica - I have to say as a musician myself, I am impressed with the job these guys did playing these classic tunes. However, I have to say that if I'm itching to hear any of these songs, I'm going to listen to Zep themselves. I'm not sure why they did an album of these tunes so much like the original. They are a great band to go see live if you want to get close to what a Zep show was like. They are amazing live. If these guys started to do their own tunes in a Zep type format, I would buy it. But here's four stars simply because they did an amazing job. I'd be willing to bet that Jimmy would be impressed. Well done guys! Now go make an original album for me to buy!
2007-12-03
10. Not Close to the real Zepplin - I give these guys credit for attempting to have a tribute band for Led Zepplin. It's just too bad that they didn't even come close to making it like Zepplin. Led Zepplin is one of the greatest bands ever and I just think that nobody can ever come close to making music like them. I don't know why iTunes won't friggin put on the real Led Zepplin. What kind of people only put out tribute bands and not the real thing. Isn't what these guys jobs are is to get original and tribute music. The Zepplin tribute needs to rethink there band and rethink how they play these wonderful songs. I just hope that they don't foul the earth with another CD. That would be one of the greatest trageties in all of music history.
2007-11-05
11. I never thought I'd see this band recorded - They're a great cover band! They are even better live. I used to see them play on the strip, but who're we kidding they really only sound a little like Zep. I can hardly wait till mid November and the new remastered Zep album comes out! We've been waiting for a long time. It's amazing that iTunes is doing it.

1. Ahem - These cats are far from wannabes, they are bright stars in an INDEPENDENT music scene, one not swathed in Disney tones and lyrical content a year old can dig. The performances on here are a nice interpretation, and it's meant as a tribute to pay homage to Alabama for bring such an influential juggernaut. If you prefer plastic artists singing these songs, buy the other Alabama tribute that was released a month ago, otherwise let these artists show their gratitude. The only thing comical here is the state of commercial country music, and if that's your thing, so be it, but don't trash good people trying to show some gratitude to Alabama.

1. Please Interpret the Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys)! - This album is beautiful. Could you please make an album wherein you Interpret the GREAT Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys)! Maybe The Bird And The Bee could do some of the more obscure Beach Boys stuff as well as tracks from the "PET SOUNDS" album? I would love to hear Inara George sing "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times", "Don't Talk", "Let's Go Away For Awhile", as well as "The Warmth of the Sun", "Surf's Up", "Please Let Me Wonder", "She Knows Me Too Well", etc., etc. Inara would sound like gold singing those tracks!

1. Thrown together - This Group is just downright lookin to cash in on good songs, but they forgot to produce it and really give some good performances. The playing is so subpar. It shouldn't be labeled as smooth jazz because it's not smooth...It's been Thrown together
check out artists like Philip Martin & Kyle Wolverton...now that's what you're lookin for
trust me

2. I love Jazz! - I plan on getting the cd. But I wanted to comment to the other person. Imagine me is a gospel song by Kirk Franklin on their newest cd called Hero. Your so right it is a beautiful song, it 's actually my favorite on the gospel cd. I am excited to hear it in JAZZ!!! I reccomend you also get the original with the lyrics too. )

1. RIP Tony Sly - If you are looking for a straight up punk record, this is not what you are looking for. This is an amazing group of musicians playing an extremely talented songwriters music in various forms. I gladly paid for this album to help out Tony Sly's family. The piano rendition of 'international you day' at the end was especially great. And Strung Out destroyed 'Soulmate'
2013-11-09
2. So sad... We'll miss you forever Tony! - When I first heard about the death of Tony I was straight gutted! The man was a brilliant songwriter and wrote anthem over anthem for those of not only my generation, but many to come. I can't help but feel robbed as I'm sure his loved ones do much more than I; a simply fan of Tony's work, but he deserved more recognition! This tribute album makes me SOOOO proud to know that his loss was not in vane! For so many awesome people to get together to collaborate on a tribute album for Tony shows the impact he made upon all of us who loved him dearly! Tony... NUFAN will never be the same, but know that you went off at your prime! You never "jumped the shark" and album after album you kept honing your skills and making each album better! That requires a brilliant mind. You have a name, and it's Tony Sly!!!

3. Great Record - I can't help but feel for Sly's friends and family. It's never easy losing someone you love and I'm reminded of that with every note on this record. However, this is a tribute to a brilliant songwriter and musician. And what better way to stroll down memory lane than with this all-star lineup bringing you the songs that we all know and love. This is a no-brainer. BUY the record.

1. Just lovely... - I generally don't like these tribute albums, who actually wants to hear a string quartet cover Tool songs? That said, this album is just beautifully well done and I'm not even a big Metallica fan. Never really liked their style, but this album demonstrates that they definitely know how to write a song, and Scott Davis definitely knows how make them beautiful. Good stuff here.
2013-07-31
2. AMAZINGLY beautiful! - I met Scott in Hawaii back in . I had the honor of watching him perform about feet from his piano at the mall. I sat there and watched his entire set. At first it was just me, but after I turned around, there were dozens of people that had pulled up a chair to do the same. He is simply amazing. I've been a huge fan since and I'm a huge fan of Metallica, since garage days in the 's and having them together is like heaven to me. Scott you rock!!!!!!
2010-02-13
3. The only tribute I can find in which adding vocals is a good idea. - About halfway through Fade to Black, it hit me that I was automatically adding in the vocals I could remeber to all of the songs. Normally, I hate when people whine about there being no vocals in songs, which is something Metallica does frequently with their undoubtably classic instrumentals. This album actually seems to benefit from adding James's pulsing spasms of lyrical genius. If you don't agree, try to find tracks of just vocals and play them along with the piano tracks, unless of course you already know the lyrics. That being said, this is still an fantastic tribute and a highly recommended purchase for any Metallica fan.

4. Purely Awesome. - I searched Master of Puppets because I wanted the Metallica version, and I scrolled down just to see what was there. I came across Scott D. Davis and I loved it from the start. He is, without question, the best Metallica cover artist out there. I want to share Scott with all my family and friends. Keep on rockin' Scott.

5. Pianotarium - Piano Tribute to Metallica - My kids spent their teen years listening to Metallica, and I got to really love their music, and their musicianship. That said, I just want to say, I really appreciate Scott Davis' take on Metallica's music. It has beauty, strength and intensity. Mr Davis is an awesome pianist. I love the whole album! My favorite is Nothing Else Matters.

6. Most Impressive, young Skywalker... - I really liked Apocolyptica when they started doing their Metalli-cello stuff. I am once again extremely impressed. This was just freakin' awesome. As stated above, Mr. Davis doesn't miss a note, and a whole lotta notes there are in these peices. I think James, Lars, Kirk, Cliff, Jason and Rob would be impressed.
2009-03-13
7. Just as incredible as all his other albums! - My Husband and I walked into the Roseville Galleria and heard Mr. Davis playing Carol of the Bells by George Winston. We are such huge fans of Mr. Winston that we had to check out his music. We got to talking and it turns out he used tour with George Winston himself. Needless to say we bought three CDs on the spot and loved all of them. There is such passion behind the notes. Then we went on iTunes and saw he had one more we didn't have....needless to say we had to have it. If you enjoy solo piano and appreciate its beauty and depth, I highly recommend you buy all of his albums. We like them all, but have found out the songs he writes are the best. He is just so talented! We hope to see even more from him in the future.

8. Awesome - I've met this guy in person at K street mall in Sacramento, Ca and also the Galleria Mall in Roseville, Ca while he was trying to promote this album. A truly talented pianist and I was always bugging him to play more. I think this is an outstanding album to just chill to the music you know you all love.

9. I don't know why I was looking for more... - I thought this would be something awesome, given a piano and metallica put into One, but to me it is very Unforgiveable... it doesn't sound very full and in addition it's extremely dry..... I don't like it's sound, it's very good playing, but it does not do Justice of it All.....

1. Simple songs. Soft beats. - Kids are attracted to fun sweet sounds like the ones on this album. There are alot of bells. Another great iTunes artist is 'Nooshi the Balloon Dude' whos got some great preschool aged songs also. The songs on this album are great for preschool aged kids before bed or a nap.

1. Turn the page.... Bob Seger Tribute - I bough this and found it to be a mistake. No disrespect to the artist but it just does not have the punch of Bob Seger. The sound is too clean and lacks the grit that makes Bob Seger great. It's OK for elevator music.... Don't expect to play this loud or be "taken back". You'll be disappointed.
2010-01-17
2. Well, I guess not. - It may not be anyones fault that itunes doesn't sell Seger. And this is a tight band. But the fact is that they are trying to sound exactly like Seger. The guys voice is pretty darn close and, as I said, they are a good band. But if I am going to pay money for music that sounds like Bob Seger. I want Bob Seger. Maybe you should sell this at a seriously discounted rate. Then everyone could make a buck. And or save one.
2009-07-23
3. How could this happen? - How can you have Sam Morrison, without Bob Segar on itunes? I am tired of it. Forget about what Bob Seger and his recod comapny will or will not do, Itunes only plays what makes them money. To say that, "Against the Wind" is comparable to the orginal recording, is what makes me write this review. My mother gave me that song and to this day, I need the orginal Bob Segar.
2009-05-15
4. Bob Seger and itunes - While I think it is a shame that Bob Seger and/or his label won't put his original music on itunes, I could not believe how good this cover was when I first heard it. I had to keep looking back to believe it wasn't Seger himself. This is great to have if you just have to have certain Seger songs (and I do) until Seger becomes available. Once again, itunes is not responsible for not having the original but this is just as good/if not better than the original as it is CD quality whereas old Seger is record quality.
2009-05-06
5. Is this really not Bob Seger? - I always listen to Bob Seger on my local classic rock station, and always ending up blasting whatever song of his they are playing. This music sounds so authentic that it is like Bob Seger said no to iTunes, but iTunes just pretended this was a tribute and put in his actual music. It's that good. To the person who is complaining that it is iTunes fault that Bob Seger is not on iTunes, either Bob Seger or his record company didn't want his songs on iTunes. I do wish the original songs were on here, but that is up to Bob Seger and/or his record company.
2009-03-31
6. iTunes - Where's the real Bob Seger? - There are some Artist's, Bands, and Songs that you just don't try to cover, Bob Seger is one such Artist. If you're looking for Original Bob Seger music like I am, you won't find it on iTunes. Don't let iTunes and these second rate bands get away with trying to sell us these cheap imitations. iTunes needs to go ahead and pay the man his due. Bob Seger is an American Rock & Roll Legend and it should be criminal that iTunes doesn't have his entire library for us to choose from. Send iTunes some feedback and demand real Bob Seger music!! ps - Some time ago itunes did have some of B. Segers music for sell and I was able to download - Mainstreet, Come to Poppa, & Fire Down Below. Was going to download more, but had to get a new card to put more money in to the account. When I was able to buy more music and came back for more Bob Seger his music was gone. I asked itunes what happened to it, they gave me the runaround instead of a straight answer, shortly thereafter this album appeared. I realize some artists and record companies have issues with their music being sold this way, and that's their right. All I wanted to know from itunes was - was it itunes or B. Segers decision to pull his music off of itunes!! By the way, I was the first to write a review for this album, you can see where they put my review, and obviously some of these reviewers work for Apple & iTunes!!
2009-01-09
7. Enjoy Great Music - Since Bob Seger's Music is not on ITunes, by his own decision, and you want good Bob Seger's music from ITunes, then this is the album to buy!! It is the closest you'll get to the real thing! Also....If you like a good rock concert, you should catch the Sam Morrison Band live! It is worth every penny!! THIS BAND ROCKS!! It's a good time and this band is down to earth - really great people!! They would love to meet you! To those of you that are negative, buy Bob Seger's album in the store and quit complaining about ITunes!
2009-01-06
8. Great Album...Even Better Live - As a huge Bob Seger, I am always skeptical of bands who try to cover his music. In the case of the Sam Morrison Band, my skepticism was completely unfounded. The band does a great job tapping into the grit and energy that makes Bob Seger great, and they do it in a way that sets them apart from the average cover band. They have taken these songs that everyone knows and they have made them their own. This album is a must have for anyone who enjoys high-energy classic rock and roll. I had the priviledge of seeing the Sam Morrison Band perform "Turn The Page" live at a local Southern California venue. The performance was absolutely incredible. The set was a non-stop hit parade. It began strong and ended even stronger. I stood up during the first song and didn't sit down until I was in my car in the parking lot. If the band is playing in your town, you have to see them. You won't be disappointed.
2008-10-14
9. Sam Morrison Band - Turn the Page - The Sam Morrison Band has been a favorite of mine for several years. Their tribute to Bob Seger, a show they call "Turn the Page," gives the band a chance to prove what many people already knew; they are great musicians. This recording captures the spirit of that musicianship and pairs it with some of the greatest songs of our time. The album will be enjoyed not only by Bob Seger fans but also by anyone who appreciates the strength, passion, and shear power of a good rock band.
2008-10-13
10. Simply the best - Congrats to The Sam Morrison Band and their amazing production company! I am in agreement with other reveiwers... this is simply the BEST sounding Seger Music available! Seger's music will always be "seger's" music... But this cd gives us all what it is that we want ... the great music AND the BEST possible quality!!!! It doesn't get any better than this!!!
2008-10-12
11. Bob Seger is back! - Oh my gosh, when I initially heard this CD I could not believe my ears. This guy sounds so incredibly like Bob Seger. If Bob Seger's albums of the 's were created today, it would sound like this. I am at the point now, that I prefer to listen to the quality of this recording then to a Bob Seger album done way back when. I cannot say enough. Listen for yourself. And when you do, close your eyes, you hear Bob. What an amazing CD. Please tell me you are making more as I am a huge Bob Seger fan and love to hear this music they way it was initially intended.
2008-10-09
12. Spectacular Re-Creation - Someone on here complained about iTunes not having any of the Seger catalog, and that there are some second rate bands out there covering classic material. That person is completely uninformed and ignorant, to say the least. iTunes doesn't control the fact that they can't sell Seger music... that's completely up to Bob Seger and his record company. iTunes sells what they're given. Regarding the subject of tribute acts, this is by far one of the best you will ever hear. The playing, singing and production are first-rate, often eclipsing the sound of many of the original Seger recordings. The Sam Morrison Band are obviously some seasoned studio and stage veterans and pull out the stops in making this labor of love. I looked up the recording credits for this thing and found out that the producer has produced and engineered some of the biggest names in music, which is evident in the huge, lush sound of the finished work. This is totally worth your time if you're a Bob Seger fan, or a fan of great music of any kind. Hearing these polished versions of the Seger hits is like hearing them for the first time... and they take on a whole new meaning for a whole new age.

13. Sam Morrison tells......Why Turn the Page? - Why "Turn the Page"? "Turn the Page"(TTP) actually came about as a side project for our original Southern Rock band, “The Sam Morrison Band”. We'd been playing for many biker type events and needed to add a few Southern/Classic Rock cover songs. We played a couple of Bob Seger tunes at the time and the response we got was INCREDIBLE! People continually commented on how much I sounded like Bob Seger and it was obvious that everyone LOVED his music. No matter where we would perform we constantly got requests to do more and more Bob Seger. It became clear right away that we could fill a whole night with Bob Seger requests and still not get to everyone’s favorite! He has so many great hits songs and since he (Bob) had not toured in over years, everyone missed hearing the material "Live". Up to this point, I was unaware of the "Tribute Band" explosion that was currently underway. We happened to be playing in Las Vegas when I started to notice how many Tribute acts were playing there. As I started to dig deeper, I noticed that the most successful acts were the ones that paid tribute to artists that were no longer touring such as the Beatles, Doors, Eagles etc. That's when the idea for "Turn the Page" began. We decided to add a Keyboard player, female back-up singers and a sax player in order to fully re-create the Bob Seger Live Experience and see what would happen. The response has been nothing short of incredible. Unlike a lot of the Tribute bands that are currently performing, we do not "pretend" to be the Silver Bullet Band, wearing costumes etc... Bob Seger has always been just % straight ahead Rock and Roll. That's what you get from us, a true representation of the man and his music. It was really an honor for us to record the music of Bob Seger. Every song on this disc has touched our lives in one way or another. He has been one of my heroes for as long as I can remember and it really means a lot to me personally when people say that I sound like him. It's my hope that everyone understands that this CD is not an attempt to in any way "replace" the music of Bob Seger but it is our sincere effort to truly pay tribute to a man that is a real American Hero and Living Legend. Thanks Bob! Sam Morrison

2. DON'T BUY!!!!!!!! - This is a load of crap. Open your freakin eyes and put REAL AC/DC on. iTunes would make a crapload of money. But that would be to hard for the geniuses. I have of their BEST albums. I don't want this tribute band crap, I want the real thing. If they can't get REAL ac/dc on here, get ac/dc, or get nothing. That's all I have to say.
2010-03-05
3. come on Itunes - i have been using itunes for years,im only but i can tell the difference between this tribute crap and the real artist. And i've only been listening to AC/DC for a few months. i love the music, but this tribute crap is about as far away from the real stuff that u can get. itunes could make soooooo much money from putting the real AC/DC on here. by the way, my accual rating was - stars. GO AC/DC
2010-02-22
4. ? - I don't even want to leave a stat for this. I've seen and heard better tribute bands than this. Their good, but why would anyone buy this fake songs from no name coverband, when you can go anywhere AC/DC albums are sold, and get the real deal for close to or about the same money. Doesn't anyone care about what they're getting for their hard earned money anymore? iTunes is all about a dollar.
2009-08-21
5. How low can you go - This is an atrocity. Trying to capitalize on ac/dc's landmark new album by doing a horrible rendition of it and putting it on Itunes. This is in no shape or form a tribute. How can it be a tribute if the album just came out? This music never should have left a half packed pub. Anyone that buys this is just promoting ripoffs. Very very sad. And I have been a fan of ac/dc since !!! Sorry guys, but you know your intent was to try and make some quick money from people.

1. BEAUTIFUL! - Whe I first saw this, i thought: "Are these versions gonna be better than Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum's beautiful versions of The Point Of No Return and The Phantom Of The Opera?" I decided to buy it and WOW I LOVED IT! The Point Of No Return IS SO LOVELY ON PIANO! Very soothing! A MUST BUY ANY PHANTOM PHAN! U WON"T B DISSAPOINTED!

2. "Angle Of Music" Heard My Prayers!!! - What a joy to listen to The Phantom Of The Opera on piano!! It's great to sing to, play to and just sit back, close your eyes and listen to! The strings and piano come together as one to make a magnificent c.d. of Andrew Loyd Webber's master pieces! I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone!

1. Profound - Kem has brought so much to music. I saw him in concert a couple of years ago and the audience was captivated the entire time. His music captures your very heart and soul, and he pours his heart and soul into his music. What a profound musician and human being. I think he will surely be etched in history as one of the greats. I can see my grandchildren finding my collection of CD's and groov'n to him decades from now. This jazz CD is phenomenal. As mentioned before, this CD is a must have.

1. A tribute to Notting Hill - A VERY POOR copy of the original - best you buy the original and don't be ripped off by this "tribute". The artists have incorrect pitch and poor timing. I really wonder if the recording engineer or producer actually had the artists listen to the movie sound track or watch the movie before or during the recording - I think not! Definitely NOT recommended!
2009-09-12
2. Notting Hill a Tribute - I was so disappointed - the album was presented as the real thing - it was bought as the real thing - the only trouble is that it was a second rate attempt at being a 'tribute' - I am surprised that iTunes would allow itself to market material that lacks quality and can only have been designed to catch people out - the test for Apple is whether they will learn from this and ensure that there is a special marking when they are selling something that is not the original or better still resist the temptation to sell it when there is so much of quality out there. - this will make me more circumspect about the iTunes Store in the future - Motto - Be Careful!!
2008-07-02
3. Not Real, a tribute of unknown artists performing known artist songs - This is very misleading, I wanted the soundtract of Notting Hill and got this: A Tribute, what is a tribute, other then unlikly artist doing well known songs. Very disappointed, would like my money back and the album I payed for : the Notting Hill soundtrack!
2008-02-10
4. don't buy this!! - This album sounds like a bunch of guys made a record in a basement using cheap accompaniments, then decided to sell it to trick people into thinking it was the real soundtrack. The cover art, with "A Tribute To..." in tiny letters and "Notting Hill" in giant letters is the finishing touch. Do not buy this, you'll be wasting your money and you'll feel fooled.

1. Bad Arrangements - It completely sounds like someone playing notes of the vocal melody out of a voice lesson. The arrangements were not put together well whatsoever. Obviously with this type of music being more upbeat there would be more levels but this honestly sounds like a child's toy music box playing back a MIDI file. They all sounds exactly the same. Sad.
2010-06-04
2. Totally Loveee IT! - I play piano myself and I can totally tell how much work went into these peice... I've been trying to sound out these pieces and make it sound like this by myself on the piano and its harder than it soundss! It totally captures the essence of paramore with the elegance and sophistication and class of the piano TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! and being my age... between and u can guess what it is... I can totally listen these songs so theyre great for the younger set I guess.... I'm CRAZYY about Paramore and CRAZY about piano sooo it totally has an awesome balance!
2010-05-22
3. Paramore with a Twist - Honestly, the only song i bought was Misery Business, since that is the best song. Not to say the other songs aren't good! But these piano renditions of Paramore's songs add a twist, or new flavor to already great music. Music style is all about how you interpret music, and this is something i would have never expected out of this music. But I like it!!! It's something new and refreshing that keeps your regular songs just with a different style. GREAT STUFF!
2009-07-08
4. ^.^ whoa! - I never thought this could happen! How cool is this? There so fun to sing to, and they bring a softness to the powerful songs of paramore while not minimizing the feel to it. wow wow wow! When I first saw this, I tilted my head to the side and thought, "what the?" but then i listened and I fell in love!
2009-05-31
5. ThisISSSSSAmazing . - This is amazing . Emergency is great . I love paramore ; they have been my obsession & they always will be . I am in middle school ; so this is a way to listen to paramore while studing or something(: I just bought this , and every diehard paramore fan needs this . so buy it , i love this so much .

6. omg this is like ttly awsome - OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is so amazing. i can ttly sing along. i just put this album on when i need something to cheer me up. all the artists that created this are amazzing. an if there reading this wanted to let u know i love you more than all the red m&m's n the universe!!

7. i've got chills... - Wow. That's all I can say. I really do owe it to you, Piano Tribute Players, I am blown away by your work. You've taken familiar songs and transformed them into beautiful piano notes. When I say I could listen to your work all day, I honestly mean it. I really, truely, could. You've caputred the lyrics of Paramore and spun them into piano keys. I am throughly impressed. Keep your fingers dancing, and please do keep up the good work.
2008-11-30
8. Another one for the team - This album is amazing. You wouldn't think that one of those cheezy piano tribute albums, or any tribute albums, would be good. I had bought the strign quartet tribute a few months ago and I'm still not tired of listening to it. The piano versions of these songs are just as beautiful if not better. It just shows how wonderful and complex the music of Paramore really is and allows one to appreciate it even more. The only one i didn't like on this album was Fences, only because it wasn't the same as the original, but otherwise it was still amazing because they are musicians and they are playing wonderfully. If you like Paramore, and can't get enough of them, listen to these on YouTube and see if you like them, I'm sure you will.
2008-11-29
9. stars all the way!!!!! - I take great pride in saying that I knew of Paramore before they were on the radio, and I have loved them since the beginning! But this is a whole other thing. It's really great and captures the essence of their music. It makes the hardcore Paramore seem... classical...hmm...
2008-11-06
10. ehh - The piano in this album is amazing. But honestly, anybody who REALLY listens, knows and understands their music will listen to this and find that it really does not match the original song very well. So, its very well done, but just does not even come close to the originals. I bought "When it Rains", but thats all.
2008-11-02
11. A piano playing robot! - What would a robot sound like playing Paramore on piano? You found it. Don't get me wrong, Paramore has some great songs... but who wants a midi version of them? Every time there are passages with repeated notes, each note sounds exactly the same. This means there is a computer playing, not a person. If you're looking for a wonderful piano tribute album, with an actual human playing, try "Eclipse - A Piano Tribute To Evanescence."
2008-10-01
12. Who Knew?? - WOW! This CD is amazing, very relaxing. Surprisingly enough, these piano versions of paramore songs really capture the emotions of the songs. Fences is different than the original, but I like the sort of blues-y piano version. My favorites are For a Pest, Pressure, When It Rains, and Born For This. This CD is definitely worth buying!

1. Great album, though incomplete.... - I love Johnny Cash and I enjoyed these covers of his songs. However, I am really disappointed that they didn't include the Dresden Dolls' cover of Ballad of a Teenage Queen. I'm not sure why that's the only song missing, but I'm probably going ot buy the album somewhere else because of this.
2009-01-04
2. You won't find a better version of "Delia's Gone" - Ben Nichols (of Lucero) brilliantly performs this violent, melancholy song with a stripped-down arrangement that fits the mood of the lyrics better than the original or any other version I've heard. I suppose for some the gravelly drawl of Ben's voice is an acquired taste, but this track shows a mellower side to his raw-throatedness that is definitely an apt tribute to the Man in Black. My other favorites on this album are Chuck Ragan's "Wreck of the Old " and The Gaslight Anthem's "God's Gonna Cut You Down." There are other good ones to be sure, but these three tracks are why I'd buy the record.
2008-12-13
3. Great Tribute for a Great Cause - Always weary about tributes, but this is GREAT. Some great and respected bands doing covers by the Man in Black. Joe from Smoke or Fire's track is amazing, also love the souls, Ben Nichols(lucero), Chuck Ragan(hot water music), and The Gaslight Anthem. Plus the profits go to charity. Highly recommend getting the whole album and playing it straight through!!!
2008-10-23
4. Helps a Great Cause - But Don't Buy From iTunes! - The album is a collection of Johnny Cash covers from a delightful range of artists, but the version on iTunes is missing "Ballad of a Teenage Queen" from the Dresden Dolls. So if you want the album in its entirety, order it directly from Anchorless Records. Either way, all proceeds go to the Syrentha Savio Endowment, a non-profit providing assistance to underprivileged breast-cancer patients.
2008-10-22
5. Mix of styles, Good Collection - First and foremost I'm a fan of punk, and therefore like the songs covered by the almighty MXPX and The Bouncing souls, but the rest of the disc contains some other great tracks. All in all it has a nice collection of musical styles. I give it stars. Not for the strict fans of Cash's style though, as I can see some of the styles a bit too far off the mark when compared to the original style.

1. You can't have Musiq without his voice - I love musiq-- have yet to meet a fan who appreciates his music more than me-- but when I hear these tracks, I am reminded of rollin' in the backseat of my dad's car, listening to the jazz station and thinking that they may actually play a song that I like, but instead, am left with a corny "jam session." Not Okay for those who love musiq for his voice.

1. I Love Compilations - Comps are the best because you get introduced to so many artists. This one is really good. I wrote about another cure comp. WherE I heard new bands, some becoming favorite bands i would not know if not for a compilation :) Favorites on this are Friday I'm in Love, Just like Heaven and High by The Wedding Present. Buy This!

2. wonderful adaptations... - I bought this for my sister-in-law who is a die-hard Cure fan and she liked it so much that she suggested I get my own copy. I have to agree with other reviewers that you must not be an Indie music fan if you don't recognize the artists on this album. Um- hello - Tanya Donnelly? Black Francis aka Frank Black? Clearly you people have no idea what you are talking about if you say these are no-name artists. And I also agree with other reviewers that covers aren't supposed to sound like the original, they are meant to be new versions. I am picky about what covers I like and agree that some can be really cheesy - but I think these are all wonderful adaptations. Pictures of You is by far my favorite.

3. Robert Smith would be proud! - I usually hate tribute albums but this one is really good. Robert Smith would be proud. All the bands did a great job covering The Cure's most popular songs. It's like a really cool mix tape. I especially like all the male/female duets -The Brunette's covering "Love Song", Tanya Donelly & Dylan in The Movies doing "Love Cats", and Dean & Britta (I love Britta Phillips) covering "Friday I'm In Love." Other favorites include Julie Peel doing "A Night Like This", Luff covering "Jumping Someone Else's Train" (awesome reinvention), and Elizabeth Harper's heartbreakingly beautiful "Pictures of You". Props too to Grand Duchy for picking a lesser known track and reinventing "A Strange Day". Highly Recommended.

4. Wow! - I'm a huge Cure fan so I'm always cautious when buying a Cure tribute (and I've bought them all). This one is by far the best I've ever purchased. It's perfectly balanced and the song choices are exactly like a mix-tape I would have made except with really cool interpretations. I have to say there isn’t a dud in the bunch but I definitely have some favs; The Brunettes “Lovesong”, Dean & Britta “Friday I’m In Love”, Joy Zipper “Just Like Heaven”, Devics “Catch”, Kitty Karlyle “In Between Days” are getting some serious love from me right now. All the songs are done really well though and I have to say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the original artwork. How cool is it to have Robert Smith as a goth angel hanging on a cloud?

5. I love the variety. - I've been a HUGE fan of The Cure, since the 's. My band, Empty Socket, even does an acoustic "Just Like Heaven". Anyway, I like the diversity of the covers here. A little bit of everything, and all from bands/artists I've never heard before. Good way to expose yourself to the world, doing songs people like, in a different way. I especially like "Let's Go To Bed". In any case, on first listen, I'm impressed overall. Pretty sure I'll get the whole CD.

6. Why not just listen to the original? It's so much better. - I love the Cure, but I do not love these artists' interpretation of their work. My suggestion is instead of wasting your $. on this to just listen to the actual band because I couldn't really stomach many of these covers, except for Elizabeth Harper & The Matinee's cover of "Pictures of You" which I find nice, moving, and slightly melancholy (but it's the Cure so that's ok). I like hearing it with the female vocals, giving it a new perspective. It's nice.

7. Wonderful Tribute - This is a fun tribute. I have to disagree with many of the posts below. It's obvious (a) they didn't buy the album, and (b) aren't truly indie music fans or would know % of the bands on this excellent tribute. There's some exceptional covers on this one. Elk City doing "Close To Me" is hauntng. Elizabeth Harpers "Pictures of You" is absolutely beautiful. Tanya Donelly doing Lovecats? Does it get any cooler than that? Wonderfully fun. I could go on and on. Trust me, buy this album - you'll be happy you did.

8. Excellent!!! - When surveying The Cure's legendary canon it's hard not to think of the words of renowned excavator Howard Carter when he discovered King Tuts' tomb: "Everywhere the glint of gold." That being said, it's no wonder that for the bands on Just Like Heaven: A Tribute To The Cure there was more than enough bullion to go around. There's Joy Zipper's luxurious, layered take on "Just Like Heaven"; New Zealand's The Brunettes turn "Lovesong" into a spacey 's jam and Kitty Karlyle's cover of "In Between Days" perfectly reveals the rock solid center of what this critic believes may very well be one of the best songs of the 's. Produced by American Laundromat's Joe Spadaro and Gwen Hysler, Just Like Heaven has a number of big-named surprises: Billed as Grand Duchy, Black Francis and Violet Clark check in with a foreboding version of "A Strange Day" and Tanya Donnelly's teaming up with Dylan In The Movies results in a gorgeous morphing of "The Lovecats" into new wave cabaret. Elsewhere, Dean & Britta transform the giddy "Friday I'm In Love" into a doleful lounge beauty; the Devics' reading of the laconic masterpiece "Catch" is spot on; and the album's finest moment, The Wedding Present's furious reworking of "High" is twitchy, raw and perfect. - Alex Green "Caught In The Carousel"

9. Love the Cure....but NOT this album! - Wow, as a first generation ('s) Cure fan, I was so excited to hear a new twist on the classics. What a constipated mess! While some re-interpretations sound like chipmunks on helium, the other artists sound like they are on downers. Sorry, but I am passing on this one.

10. stars because its Cure songs - Ummm, no the originals are obviously better...but if your a Cure fan you might like a few of these like " a strange day " but this cd should have included the band Five Star Dive they have a version of "Cold" that is a blend of the original meets Interpol makes these tracks look like well not that good search that out if you want a Cure cover instead of the original

11. Why? - I like some cover songs....but why a CURE tribute now? The CURE continues to release good music. The good thing about this release is it gives some lesser known bands some exposure. So, do your self a favor...listen to the CURE doing their own songs and try to find some of these bands doing there own songs too.
