1. Get Lucky - Loverboy - I was so pleased to see that they Remastered and Reissued "Get Lucky" for it's th Anniversary. I was a senior in high school and I loved this album. I saw them that year at a mountain air concert along with Quarterflash and somebody else but I was to stoned to remember who it was....lol....anyways, I am glad to have it back in my collection. Thanks Sony! keep up the good work.

2. This album rocks!! - Wow....talk about an album that can bring you back in time to remember the freedom of youth....this one does it. This was an incredible album at precisely the right time....early 's....music and style was changing and these guys hit thier stride with this one. I was at the time and I still can remember the impact this album had on kids my age and older. Everyone had this album!! I;m glad to see iTunes getting this out for a whole new generation - in fact, I hear "Working for the Weekend" almost as much as I did when it came out....like a previous reviewer wrote...some of these tunes will stand the test of time forever. Get the album and listen to music that was still innocent and gave a message of being young and having a good time.

3. Great remaster of a classic album - I wore this record out in the eighties and it was a mainstay of my CD collection so I was thrilled to find the remaster on iTunes. I must disagree with the All Music Guide view that "Emotional" is a "sloppy bar tune"--it just showed a different side of Loverboy and is a fun song. So many great songs on here--"Lucky Ones," "When It's Over," "Take Me To The Top" ... a solid album from start to finish. Yeah, "Gangs In The Street" is kind of melodramatic (and the video is hilariously bad) but it still fits in with the rest of the record. The previously unreleased songs are interesting additions--you can almost hear the bridge between the first record and this one in their sound--but aren't super-strong so you can understand why they were originally left off this record. Loverboy were slagged a lot even in their heyday but "Get Lucky" is a great example of early eighties arena rock. Now if only "Keep It Up" can get the same treatment!

4. Who knew this was getting the treatment? - A great Loverboy album, and a great rock album overall by any standard. "Working for the Weekend" is one of those iconic rock songs that will be heard on classic rock radio for the rest of time. But oddly enough, it's not among the songs I consider to be the best on the album. For me, the highlights of this album are "Take Me to the Top" and "Lucky Ones," two tracks which simultaneously encompass everything Loverboy did best AND everything that was great about Album Oriented Rock before MTV killed the format. Synthesizer mix with guitars over driving drum beats to create something that sounded modern and retro all at once. In a different world Loverboy might have been classified as "Alt rock" had the format existed in rather than living as fringe/"different" rock stars with the likes of The Cars, the J. Geils Band, Aldo Nova and the Tubes. No matter what the classification, this is an album that stands the test of time and I'm thrilled to see it remastered on iTunes. An easy buy.

1. All around Easy Listening - Train has always been a band that I enjoy. They don't grate on me like Dave Matthews Band does (I know, I know, believe me I DO have taste but Dave Matthews singing like he's going through puberty half the time - now THAT gets annoying). Train just has generally nice melodies with good mixing, involving some strings sometimes or sometimes a banjo, or other times they sound a little grunge. I might be a bit partial since they are Bay Area based. So, probably my favorite songs of theirs is "Cab." Doesn't get much airplay anymore, but I like it. "Drops of Jupiter" yes, overplayed, but after I have distanced myself from it for years, it sounds fresh again. But, it's hard to listen to when I mostly associate it with and events leading up to / (it was heavily played around that time). All in all, a band that has put out some decent tunes over the last - years!

1. A Decent Collection That Leaves You Wanting It All - This collection deserves stars alone for what it has. "The Warrior" contrary to the other review left is available as are many others like "No Mistakes" and "Beat of a Heart". I'm glad to see "Isn't It Enough" and "Love's Got A Line On You" made the cut but to my disappointment there's sadly an absence of some pretty essential songs for fans of Scandal. The self-titled "Scandal", "Never Enough", and one of Patty Smyth's last impacts on the music scene "Look What Love Has Done" are not included. This is still a fine collection for someone interested in the some of the best 's to 's soft rock out there. Lots of great attitude and sex appeal from the singer and the instrumentals are top notch. You can't go wrong with Patty Smyth featuring Scandal.

2. THANKS, APPLE, AND, THANKS, iTUNES...A HAPPY CUSTOMER - NOT CRAZY ABOUT ALL OF THE SONGS ON THIS ALBUM, BUT THANKS FOR MAKING IT AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC ANYWAY. GOSH, IF IT WEREN'T FOR iTUNES, I WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN THAT "SCANDAL" ACTUALLY MADE A "GREATEST HITS" ALBUM. THANKS, APPLE, AND, THANKS, iTUNES!!!

3. The warrior review - The warrior (song number one on play list) is a great song I like it a loot it never seems to get old when I lessen to my eleven songs the warrior stands at my therd most played even tho it's a tinny out of date it's a good song it actually reminds me of the movie Hunger Games this would be a good song for that. But I'm I'm pressed on how low and high patty can sing that provides a great vority. Not the youngest not the most known but a great song I recommend it actually but here's a TIP if u whant the songs that only come with this playlist then type patty in the serch box and another playlist should pop up and the songs are in there too and for cents pluse save a lot!!!!!!!!!

4. Awesome Songs - I recently saw Patty Smyth and Scandal at Fish Day in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Those great songs brought back so many memories. The concert was great. Patty's vocals were incredible and the band sounded great. I downloaded the greatest hits album and can't stop playing it. Fantastic.
2011-07-24
5. Patty Come Back!! - Patty Smyth is easily one of the best rock vocalist of all time. Equally satisfying is her songwriting prowess. She has a very concise way of translating heartache (Less Than Half - All I Want - the entire album) - When you hear Patty, you know who it is - and it just can't be loud enough. I graduated from High School when Scandal Warrior came out - and have been a life long fan ever since. - Not sure if Patty is retired for good - but there are those of us currently in our 's who would DEFINITELY stay up past our bed times to go see Patty live!
2009-04-14
6. Hands Tied - This is a vastly underrated song. Patty's voice and the feeling she puts into it should have warranted at least a Top hit at the time it came out. In my book, this song could get airplay even today. And you gotta love the lyrics: "She may be one good reason to leave, but I'm a hundred reasons to stay".
2009-03-15
7. Shiny Pop/Rock - This overview of Patty Smyth's career (to ) will satisfy casual fans and those seeking the ubiquitous hits "Goodbye to You," "No Mistakes," and "Sometimes Love Just Aint Enough." More dedicated fans will remain disappointed that the more engaging tracks from 's albums "Scandal," "The Warrior" and the criminally overlooked "Never Enough" remain unavailable. Nevertheless, this set deserves your time, if only because it is seemingly the only place you can obtain "Love's Got a Line On You," "Wish I Were You," and "Downtown Train" (easily the best cover version of the Tom Waits classic) in the same place.

1. Love it - I slept on this album and I’m glad I did because when I went back and listened to it I needed it. The Goo Goo Dolls have always understood that life is tough sometimes and this album has those roots but it’s so joyful and celebrating that it’s also beautiful and still worth living. My favorite songs are Step in Line, Lights, and Autumn Leaves. It gets brighter and better.

2. Is The Goo Gone? - I'm a diehard GGD fan, and I am bummed that they are putting out "leftovers" rather than "gourmet meals". This album is mediocre, and not what I am used to from Johnnie & Rob going back years ago. When the majority of the songs on an album all sound the same, you know you have wasted your money...that's what this album gave me.
2019-11-21
3. Not my favorite, but I still have respect - I’ve been a GGD fan since they were playing little dives in Buffalo. This album is a FAR departure from those “good ole days” but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The guys have matured, their has matured. Although I agree some sounds alike, I still think they have good music in them. I’ve been to over live shows since they started touring as a big time act and I gotta say the last album was better in my humble opinion. Next album I’d like to hear a little more rock and a lot more bass! I’ll still always be a loyal fan and I’ll always see them when they come to Charlotte. BUT PLEASE ADD “All That You Are” to your set list, it’s my wedding song and I’d love to finally hear it at a show!

4. i'm dishing out some harsh criticism! - everytime i hear that that the goo goo dolls are coming out with new music i hold on to a glimmer of hope that i will actually get to hear some songs like the ones they made from my childhood,i keep waiting for the shredding guitar, the classic replacements vibe, the rawness in their music and the dual vocals from robbie and johnny the creative rock with the deep meloncholy feel to it but with every new release my hopes just get crushed more and more to the point where i just lose respect for them! people who say that i should just love this album because its the goo goo dolls or try to tell me that they are evolving is just pure crap! the only thing this band has evolved into is sounding like every other pop band out right now.i hear people telling me that they are older now and cant rock out like they used to which is complete garbage! they have the ability to rock out with the best of them but they just dont want to.instead they rather write crappy pop songs and radio friendly ballads just to keep up with the music of today meanwhile the oldshool fans that grew up listening to hold me up superstar car wash and a boy named goo get let down over and over and over! the only brightside to this is i can still put on your older albums and think about how much those songs meant to me and how much i loved that era music long live the 's

5. Very good album - It’s a very good album. I started like many in the early ’s with the Goos. They’ve decided to adapt and change how they make music. That bums some out but if you listen with an open mind and ear, you will realize it’s a very good album. I’m glad they are still making music.
2019-09-21
6. Not Good - I'm not one to compare a band's past music with the new. I don't care if bands change their sound as long as they make good music. My problem with The Goo Goo Dolls music is that it gets progressively worse over time. Pick any genre and you could find bands with dramatically better songs than these guys. I enjoyed a couple albums back in the day, but I just don't understand why anybody would listen to this when there is so much better musci out there. For what it's worth, I did enjoy "Think it Over".

7. Where did the music go??? - So after listening to this album I ask myself “where did the music go? This is the laziest most garbage of an album I’ve ever heard from a rock band. There a couple of songs that aren’t bad but there is no personality or real instruments in most of the songs. It’s a preloaded sounds and a faked up beat of music that they don’t even play. It sounds like a computer generated sound machine. Most the songs have no life behind them and just poor poor writing. I thought the sound from boxes was bad this is worse. Most of the songs are not catchy and hard to follow lyrically and instrumental. I’ve been a fan since the hold me up days and til now. I’m a huge fane and supporter of the band. There’s been some not great albums especially on the more recent. Let love in was a lazy album as far as new material as a third of it was songs from random single releases before the album was out. That cd had maybe or songs that were good. Something for the rest of us is a forgettable garbage album. Magnetic I enjoyed more and had most of the songs that stuck after a few spins. Boxes was horrible at first and still a somewhat lifeless album but after a few spins I found a couple of gems which this new album has a couple bare able songs like indestructible and think it over. Miracle pill song is lifeless and just the same rhythm and beat as so alive from boxes. They sold out years ago and being forced to do these awful albums which they can not be labradoodle rock and more like r&b/soul music pretty much. I give this album two thumbs down and a big Cleveland steamer on their chest.

8. The More I Listen, the More I like it. - First, I completely disagree with people who say GGD should stick to their s sound. Any act that has had longevity reinvents itself, tries new things, and is not afraid to experiment. If they had copied their old sound, the criticisms would have been that it's the same old stuff nothing new. Some people will never be happy.
Here's what I like. Johnny and Robby write great lyrics. They are underrated in my opinion. Most of their songs tend to have some profound meaning and are very positive. Two ingredients that are rare in today's music scene.
I do agree that some tracks are over-processed. The negative about this is that the attractive timbre of Johnny's voice is lost, but the tracks are still solid tunes. Can't wait to hear this live. I'm going to their Atlantic City concert. All in all. I love the album. Great job GGD.
As for the idiots who said "Stop making music." That's just BS. Keep your creative fires burning for as long as your heart tells you to create. I love the Goo Goo Dolls.

9. It’s not anymore and that’s okay. - I normally don’t leave reviews but I felt the need to with this one. I jumped onto the Goo Goo Dolls train in . Started off with Dizzy Up the Girl, Let Love In, and then Gutterflower for some odd reason. And honestly I can understand why a lot of people miss those days. They had a great mix. And it’s different now. But it’s not bad. Something for the Rest of Us was the turning point and an underrated album in my opinion. Magnetic had its highs, my favorite song from that album is “Slow It Down”. Boxes is my least favorite album. It just seemed rushed. But I think Miracle Pill is a good comeback. I’ve only listened to the album from start to finish a couple of times but so far “Fearless”, “Miracle Pill”, and “Money, Fortune, & Fame” are my favorites. The story being told feels meaningful and I feel a lot of artist these days are missing that part. It’s not the same band from years ago and that’s okay.

10. former fan weighs in - Here's the thing, if the GGD put out records in the past years or so that sounded like their earlier work, it wouldn't sell. And what they HAVE been putting out, the pop crap, isn't selling either. They literally can't win, and that's just the nature of the business for older bands. So having said that, why not give us hardcore fans what we want? We want guitars! We want that older sound again. It certainly can't hurt, and honestly, can only help.
2019-09-15
11. Still Waiting for the Rest Of It - For a band that’s held it together for years, they’re still quite a decent listen on a lazy afternoon. I’ve come to the conclusion that nothing post “Magnetic” will achieve higher than a from me, save for a few singles here and there, but overall, they’re still doing some good stuff.
2019-09-14
12. Best Offering in Years - Before you go knocking the more “polished” production, take a minute with each track and realize something very important: there is an actual song here; better yet, it is compositionally different from the one that preceded it; better still, the hooks get more infectious with each listen. Isn’t that what one WANTS from a POP album? Ladies and gentlemen, it is not the mid-nineties anymore, and while the Goos have had their share of ups and downs since their commercial peak, with this collection they are sounding like a group that has arrived at some degree of understanding of where they can fit into the greater picture of music with a new set of songs. (Think Bleachers / Chvrches with an extra years of solidarity under their belts.) While the last few efforts have sounded more or less like the fulfilling of contractual obligations (with occasional glimpses of the Dolls of yore), this album sounds like they sat down to record because there was something TO record. Does anyone criticizing the volume level of the bass or guitar really expect another “Boy Named Goo” from this band? This writer feels that, were they to try to recreate the past and only succeed partially, we would have a much more embarrassing album than what we have here. Listen again—the guitar is there, and, along with it, a chorus of voices, possibly the slickest rhythm section production to date, and most importantly, a singer that sounds sincere, even if he left the grunge pedal in the box for an album. “Don’t cry; we all get lost sometimes.” Having been along with them for the ride as they lost and found themselves over the last couple of decades, it is chilling to hear them at the top of their game once again.

13. The ’s whiners need to get over themselves - Ok. So everyone on here complaining about how it’s not like the ’s and ’s GGD need to step out of those eras and into the current one. These guys have amazingly evolved for over freaking years. That’s years of new experiences to turn into music without imploding and disbanding. They aren’t going to constantly be able to sing about experiences from the ’s and make it appealing. They’d run out of material. If you grew up with the band, you should also grow with them. The new album has some really shining moments and I can’t help but fall in love with them all over again with each new album. Thanks guys for everything!
2019-09-14
14. Where’s the guitar? - What happened Johnny? You used to write such amazing songs with alternative tunings on an acoustic guitar and have bass, drums, lead guitar and maybe a little bit of piano? Now it’s all just beat machines. I used to really look up to you guys as a fellow musician myself who started playing guitar and writing songs because of you. I’d like to hear more songs like “Slide” and “Iris and “Come To Me”. I think the last song I’ve heard from you guys that has guitar in it was “walk away” from your last album, which is a great song. Please Johnny, write some good acoustic rock songs. Put some guitar in it. That’s the music that I will buy and that everyone wants to hear from you.

15. Find Your Meaning, Respect The Artist - Another great album! I wouldn’t be where I am in life without the Goo Goo Dolls. Sometimes when a new album comes out I may not be in lock step with where they have chosen to go musically for the entire album. But the albums are about finding the meaning for ourselves out of their message for themselves in their lives and careers. This album is another one that speaks to me personally on so many levels. I hope there are many more albums to come.

1. Do your homework! - Whoever wrote the iTune editor's notes for this album should be fired. The cassette and cd versions of this album did not contain the songs Family Man and You've Lost That Loving Feeling when it first came out. Those two songs were added in the 's when this album was re-issued. And Out Of Touch was not their last top hit. They had eight more top hits after this song. Two of those making the top five on the hot . Wow!

2. Great representation of an Era's Hit makers - Anyone who followed this duo's work from the beginning can appreciate this compilation. The tunes were catchy, memorable and used in soundtracks for several movies. I remember going to two of the concerts performed in NYC and there wasn't an empty seat at either show several years apart. Youth of today: pay attention. Groups like this had their music sampled everywhere and if you listen closely to what you are enjoying as pop music today, you can hear some of this groups melodies as well as other famous groups from this period. These guys produced great music!

1. reviewer qualifications? - i see that at least some others were bothered after reading the itunes review. the reviewer sounds like some idiot that obviously has heard only one scandal song and assumes the rest of the world is the same. anyone that watched mtv back when mtv was good, would at least know 'beat of a heart' off this album. and you have to know 'goodbye to you' and 'love's got a line on you' from their first album. the itunes review of this album is pathetic. you don't have to love scandal, but at least know what you are talking about.
2011-05-25
2. Diamond in the rough - Every once and a while an album comes through that is just stellar from front to back and does not just tote one hit along with duds. This is one such album. If you like song , you'll like song and in between. The band Heart took a lot of thunder out of the 's and 's for lead women singers. Patty Smyth delivers beyond comparison. Everyone knows the weakest song on the album, Warrior. Hard driving guitar, great vocals, and Patty delivering them....this is just a classic. There is not a bad song on the album.
2008-09-27
3. One of the truly great pop-rock albums of the early 's... - Patty's sultry voice together with her deep (and intriguing) lyrics and some really hot guitar work make this album a true stand-out...the songs were (and are) memorable and captivating...they don't make music like this anymore and that's sad...
2008-06-30
4. Great Memories - "Warrior" was one of the songs of the summer of . I can still remember the video of this song. I fell for this group hook, line, and sinker. "Beat of the Heart", "Hands Tied", and "All I Want" are great too. I can still remember them on "Dick Clark Rockin' Eve '". was a hot year for music and this album is one of the reasons why.
2007-09-16
5. Whoever wrote the iTunes review obviously didn't own a radio in the 's - Yes, The Warrior was the big smash, omnipresent in late , charting at . But Beat of a Heart and Hands tied are fabulous songs that charted at and received strong airplay. Only the Young is a cover of the popular Journey song from the Visionquest soundtrack. So, if you haven't heard any of these songs other than The Warrior, it proves you don't listen to anything but top (and psst, I got a little secret for you, most of rocks great songs never make it to the top ). Hunt for some great album rock like Hands Tied and Beat of a Heart, and download one of the 's better cds. Oh yeah, don't forget to catch the Vh- Bands Reunited feature on Scandal. It's pretty good!
2007-04-30
6. 's Pop-Rock at its Finest - I agree with the album overview that the title song is classic 's, but completely disagree that, if you're looking for other well-known Scandal songs, you should look elsewhere. "Beat of a Heart" and "Hands Tied" were big rock radio hits for the band, too. Also, "Only the Young" is the song Journey had a big hit with and Scandal scored some airplay with it, too. If you love 's rock or pop/rock in general, you'll love these songs.

1. One of the best...ever. - I can’t tell you exactly how much I enjoy simple, honest, upbeat music with incredible vocals, unforgettable tunes, and beautiful messages, but it’s a lot, and these two Swedes, Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, have mastered our language and their music will outlive them fold.

2. Another totally rad duo!!!!! - Heard a few songs from Roxette growing up. But after recently listening to their Look Sharp album, totally hooked. "Dangerous" is so, oooohhh, a little seductive, I'd say. "Listen to your heart" will make me slow dance. But the very one song that is totally outrageous and addictive, I love the most is "The Look", my very favorite. I listen to that song all the time, beginning of that guitar intro… I know it's playing. She's got the look, she's got the look. What in the world could make a brown eyed girl turn blue. When everything I'll ever do, I'll do for you. And I go; la la la la la, she's got the look. I always gotta sing it and dance to it. Roxette totally rocks!!!!!

1. Their best album - I started listening to REO back in the mid ’s with Tuna Fish and I have all their music and have seen them live many times. I know High Infidelity was the band’s high point, but I think Good Trouble is a better collection of songs. I’d put Nine Lives ahead of Fidelity also. Good Trouble has such good energy and Bruce Hall gets a few moments in front of the mike. Kevin’s voice on The Key and I’ll Follow You are his best, in my opinion. Gary absolutely shreds on Stillness of the Night. It’s a great album.

2. Most underrated album but not true - A lot of reo speedwagon fans think that this album was a weak album but it truly is not great follow up to the album prior to it and most of the songs on the track list sound like ones from hi infidelity it should have been more of a hit than the attention the media was giving it which is such ashamed
2014-07-06
3. JLo - A magnificent album. They rushed to write and record this album because the record company wanted them to put it out before the Hi Infidelity hype wore off. Critics hated it because they were probably fed up with too much REO at the time. A truly underrated album. You will not regret buying this album. The album is a hybrid of Hi Infidelity and Nine Lives.

4. One of the Best All Around Ever - When I was about , I bought this album at the local Woolworths for about $. I originally got it for the single"Keep the Fire Burning". But after I started playing the album, every single song sounded awesome and before I knew it,I had memorized the whole album! It didn't get much airplay, but thru this album is Great!! I had forgot about till the other day and it just popped in my mind. By the way, I'm , so to me,this album has stood the test of time! One of best all around!!!

5. BLAZING HOT! - Some may not like this album, but it is the perfect follow up for Hi Infidelity. I know every word to every song on this album. "I'll Follow You" is a wild, wild ride! Perfect for "air keyboarders" like me! These guys have been a favorite of ours since we saw them in concert on March , .

1. Mission Accomplished - Isn't it satisfying to see a compromising artist reach their potential so quickly? Absolute great job Will, this is exactly the type of music that I imagined you'd make when you first appeared on the Voice. Such an inspiring and complete album. Congratulations for staying true to yourself!

2. Amazing Talent - I finally figured out how to post a review!! I was amazed by Will Champlin's singing on The Voice. Every week he seemed to get better and better. And then he stepped it up by showing us that not only is he an amazing and talented vocalist, but a musician as well. I was worried that his music wouldn't be as great as the covers. Was I ever wrong! His Borrowing Trouble album is absolutely incredible. I can't believe that he plays every single instrument and does his own backup singing! His album is what I listen to while I'm driving and when ever I have free time to crank up the volume.

3. Hit that Surgical Rewind button for DAYS!!!! - I have been sampling some of Will's songs from the album earlier in the year (Eye of the pyramid, Last man standing, just to name a few) and I have been very impressed. This ensemble however is even more than I expected. So much to mine through and say but I can't right now because I am jamming to Surgical, Surgical Surgical Reeewind. SO DOPE!

12. You are borrowing trouble if you don’t get this! - As the nd runner-up on Season of The Voice, Will Champlin releases his brand new album “Borrowing Trouble”. Unleashing songs written/co-written by him, the album has a nice mix of pop and rock, up-tempos and ballads. Even at early listen, the album showcases Will’s talents in both his songwriting and vocal range. Go check it out now! My favourites after the first few spins are Breathe, Eye Of The Pyramid and Borrowing Trouble.

14. Borrowing Trouble - Wow. Every song on this album is so lovingly and exquisitely crafted. Listening to the album was like opening gifts on Christmas morning. I don’t know how he managed it, but Will Champlin skillfully weaves techno, rock, pop,, Americana, bluegrass, soul and reggae. It is a gourmet meal for the ears! Can’t wait to put this on repeat during my long commute. Thank you so much for sharing your gift, Will!

1. could do better - Loved him on AGT but this album has a lot to be desired. He sounds pretty much the same on each song, same tempo same beat same vocals. I was really dissapointed and would not reccommend this to anyone. That being said it does not take away from how awesome
he is and can be. Song selection was poor

2. Just An Incredible Boice! - One of the brightest, most talented singers that is yet to be “discovered.” Strong range, impeccable tone with strength across all the registers. Now it’s time for a contract with strong support for original songs. His “Halo” cover is supreme...and I’m not a fan of Beyoncé.

1. Best Jimmy Buffett live album - This album is absolutely spectacular. There's a couple tracks that are repetitive (like Today's Message and Honey Do), but the sound of the whole album just sounds so full and rich. This album got me hooked on Jimmy's music, and the energy and sounds from the songs is not matched in any other album he's done. I always come back to this one because of just how great the sound quality is. My personal favorites from this album are definitely The City, Last Mango, One Particular Harbour, A Pirate Looks At Forty, Jolly Mon, and of course, Margaritaville. These are the best versions of these songs out there, period. This is a must-listen album for any Parrothead or anyone looking into Jimmy's repertoire. This album is spectacular and definitely deserves more recognition.

1. Prairie Prince Fan - If I were stuck on an island (that happened to have a stereo) and could only have albums, it would be this masterpiece, Dark Side of the Moon, and Led Zeppelin ll. Buy this album and listen to it all the way through, in order. Prepare to have your mind blown. Best musicians ever, especially Prairie Prince on drums. If all drummers were as good as Prairie, there would be a lot more great bands! The band is only as good as it's drummer, just ask Rick Anderson or Fee Waybill. A power funk album from the Tubes!

1. Not Their Best - I have to admit that there were some odd choices on this CD--I don't think "New Year's Day", or "Desire" translated well to strings (they sounded a bit menacing)--but tracks like "Where the Streets Have No Name", "All I Want Is You", and my favorite U song ever "Bad" all made up for the mishaps. I don't know if I'd recommend buying the whole album. If you want to buy single songs to save money, I'd go with tracks , , , & .

1. Not even close to there best - I love this band but, what happened to "keep your head up kid" now its keep your head down and be depressed. I don't hear any pop punk and no disrespect to this singer but the old one just had the best voice I have ever heard from a pop punk band. I am still going to see this band at warped tour only to hear old songs. The only songs that come close to good are wallflower and devils advocate. The song just as I am makes me cringe when I hear it its their worst song ever made. Please start making songs from the album hard feelings again

1. YES!! - Now this is music from Cody Simpson!! I’m pleasantly surprised by his music now and I knew he would improve his music ability since going solo! For me this is music coming from Cody’s heart and don’t me wrong his first solo music was good but it just felt rushed. I’m super excited for this new era of Cody Simpson

The best thing to say about this (or any) album of children's songs is that it sounds essentially like any other album by the phenomenal Marta Gómez. Listening had been a pleasure for child and parents alike.

1. Heaven only knows - How I lived without realizing that Serena Ryder was a musical genius. Her song For You which was played on the TV show The Originals is what brought me to her work on iTunes. It has all the makings of a James Bond theme song. This gal is more talented than any female soul singer I have heard in years.

1. Bryan's best - C'mon everyone... for his solo LP's, this is definately Bryan's best one. And, just to contrast this with his st Century output, it pains me to say that era is tuneless, his voice is not as expressive and those albums are just a lot of "sounds" whereas THIS is full of songs, great lyrics and melodies. I always though of this record as a potential Roxy Music album because the songs are all originals - but played by other studio musicians... hence, no Roxy Magic, but plenty of Ferry verve and skill. Listen to it again my friends!

2. Some body Listen! - Bryan Ferry has alwasys been more popular in Europe and the UK. This is his first Solo effort after Roxy Music and I still think one of his best not to take away from later music.
The songs are really good with great prodution and outstanding studio musicians. The second half of "Love Me Madly Again" is amazing with slide guitar and strings carried by a great bass guitar line!
All the songs are well arranged with a lot going on in them
Probably not a lot of people have this album and thats too bad. I hope my review will get at least one person to buy it and that would be good!
