1. What a great album! - “A Retrospective” reunites the greatest hits from Pink Martini. All the songs are a pleasure to listen to and it's the kind of album you can play and never want to miss one song. Mon seul regret est qu'il ne contient pas “No Hay Problema” que l'on ne trouve que sur l'album “Sympathique” et qui, pour moi, demeure l'un des chefs d'œuvre du groupe.

1. A truly great artist - There few artists who are this talented and fill thing amazingly well. I was a very young child when I heard his music for now as an adult, I hope I can see him live sometime. He sings live just as he sounds in his albums. That is the mark of a truly talented singer. Not to mention, he also writes and plays musical instruments. This is very hard to find in some of the so-called singers today.

2. Call me a fan :-D - Bought this project years ago cuz I loved the song collection by a very underrated singer songwriter with a golden voice. The sleeper track and one of my favorite selections is a song I wasn't familiar....Angels Lullaby. Can't remember what compilation project that was on or how I ever missed hearing it years go. Call these songs sappy ballads and pop songs if that's what you wanna label them; but I will gladly listen to them thank you very much.

3. Soft As Silk, Hard As Nails… - Whenever reviewing an older album, people have to put themselves back in time to understand why and to really feel the song. I hadn't heard these songs since being bandaged up in the Nurse's Office in Elementary School (radio constantly on Lite in Baltimore). I hadn't given this guy a second thought in decades, but today I heard he took down a violent attacker on an Airline with his bare hands and all by himself. His heroism was on my mind while perusing iTunes and I decided to give him a listen again…took me right back to skinned knees on the playground in nd Grade. Thanks for the memories and for being a boss helping those in need!

4. "Keep Coming Back to You"... - How is it possible that "Keep Coming Back to You, with it's uncredited background voclas by Luther Vandross, barely rates on the the i-Tunes richter scale? "Hazard", "Aneglia", etc. have the same rating. This is such an amazing album, with Richard's vocals so emotionally in tune with the material. Listen. Know. Love.

5. I don't know - This is a great song it reminds me of a young girls murder which today remains unsolved. Irene Izak. The river I believe is the flow of things and someone sometimes gets caught up in the down throw rapids. I just feel i have to follow through here . Irene is a member of my family and we are still here.

1. Every track is AH-mazing!!!! - I didn’t think Mat and Savanna could get any better but they sure showed me!! Every song is excellent! Usually, I just “listen” to music but with their songs, I “hear” it. The emotions evident in their voices and the arrangements are just incredible. Stephen Nelson has taken them to a higher level. The tracks featuring other artists are true collaborations that complement so well. I couldn’t love this more!!!

2. Super album! - Sacramento County in CA is still in the red zone for covid-. We long to see our friends and family. We are going on our second year of birthdays, anniversaries, and annual celebrations that are canceled or reduced to few participants. I have organized arts festivals and concerts with thousands attending for over years! Mat and Savanna Shaw’s music has been a lifesaver for me. Going for walks with their music turned up makes me happy.

1. Air Supply: All Out of Love - LIVE - This album is one of my favorites! For someone (like myself, and a few others I know) in their mid-'s, to admit that Air Supply is her favorite band - well, I think that's a REAL compliment! I have seen them perform at least once a year, for at least the last years! Some band members are really HOT! A.S. is always sharing new music, which I love just as much as their classics. For some reason, radio stations don't have any of their newer music. Concerts are packed! Check out newer songs on their more recent albums, and you'll like them just as much as you may have, many years ago!

2. Great Show!!!! - Saw these guys in concert tonight at the Michigan State Fair () and they sound just as good as they did plus years ago. Thank You for the music....God willing, looking forward to many more years to come. This album captures their true live spirit when in concert...it's like being there all over again. One more comment, it was real nice to see these guy take the time for a meet and greet after the concert. They stayed their til everyone had their fill of autographs and pictures...a real bunch of top class performers.

1. Morons - Who is the moron that writes what is supposed to be a review for iTunes? I am not interested reading his obviously biased ramblings that have nothing to do with music. My review of this album is simple and to the point, it's ok, nothing special. Buy it if you feel the need to own everything Michael Bolton releases, if you don't pass.

1. Tax write off - All I can say is that I hope this was a tax write off for him & he wasn't serious when he recorded it. Serious in thinking he could sing or that this was going to be a successful record. I guess when you're wealthy you can piss away your money however you like, that's your right, but I wouldn't spend a plug nickel on any one of these songs. Terrible. Great actor, terrible singer.

2. Respectfully tripe - I agree that Jr has a beautiful even sexy voice (am I gay for saying that?) yet it is at times almost typical of a genre or two. As for the music, if mellow music for the elevator is cool, then this is king. Wanting to like this album with a title sounding like an art movement by one of our best actors EVER (in the USA) doesn't mean it's going to be liked no matter how much I force feed myself. I really wanted to like this, tried to like it, and believe me I wrote the warden a letter after his mishap in prison (he got cut on the face in prison) so there is "love" here, if such thing can exist between two unknowns. Respectfully I give it three stars for effort, but if he was my friend I would introduce him to a better flavor of sounds for his next try. And he should keep trying!

1. No Disappointment here! - This is by far one of the best albums yet! Mat & Savannah do not disappoint, yet again. They just get better and better. Their rendition of “I Can Only Imagine” is phenomenal! This song has alway had a deep meaning for me, but the way they sing this song with Matthew Pacheco, put a whole new and deeper meaning yet. I saw the video on Facebook and YouTube and it puts it on a whole new light. I was in tears and watched the video over and over. It took my breath away and truly chanced me. Thank you Mat and Savannah! Blessings.

2. Mat & Savanna Shaw have done it again! - Mat & Savanna Shaw just released their latest album, called Happy Like That, and you have got to hear it! It’s hard to pick just one favorite song from their album, but their rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone is absolutely gorgeous. This father/daughter duo sing such beautiful harmony together!

3. Another release!!! - We’ll, everyone keeps asking how Mat and Savanna can top previous releases and, amazingly, they manage to do it every time!! I love that there’s always such a broad range to their selections because there’s something for every mood. Every one of their songs offers either hope, fun, joy, introspection and some, a combination of those!! Just can’t miss with them!! Absolutely love it !!

4. Never A Disappointment - These two, it doesn’t matter where they came from, are a gift from God. They have some of the best covers I’ve heard, and I will never forget the first time I’ve heard them. I’m excited to follow them through this journey I call life, knowing that I can look at the positives in life. Thank you Mat and Savanna for making this world a little more happier for me.

5. Wonderful music! - I've been listening to Mat & Savanna since their st You Tube video, and their music never fails to make me smile & brighten my day. Their voices are gorgeous and their harmonies are amazing. All of their arrangements by Stephen Nelson are so beautiful an always some unique key changes to songs we have all heard that make them so fresh & so 'Mat & Savanna'! Their new album is filled with more beautiful songs and originals. It is so cool that in addition to having beautiful voices, that they have turned out to be such great song writers too!!

6. Absolutely wonderful! - From the song choices to the arrangements and instrumentals, and most of all to Mat and Savanna's voice and harmonies, this is a stunning album; one that deserves to be heard everywhere. I can't even pick a favorite song - they all resonate. Thank you for your beautiful music.

7. Absolutely Superb - This album is everything I anticipated it would be and more! The music and lyrics to every song are so uplifting, something we all need so badly right now in our lives. My wish is that everyone in the world could listen to Mat and Savanna Shaw music and we would all be calm, content, and happy. Lisa Conaway

8. Newest album does not disappoint! - What wonderfully creative new arrangements of some favorite oldies! The harmonies are gorgeous. LOVE the mash up Here Comes the Sun/I Can See Clearly Now. As with all of Stephen’s mash ups, just brilliant! And I love their new originals, especially Happy Like That and Strawberry Ice Cream. So whimsical and meaningful too. I can’t help but smile!! Thank you Mat, Savanna and Stephen—and to all those they collaborated with—for another gem!

1. Bastau - A Breathtaking Experience! - Bastau ("Begining") is the first stop of Dimash's D-Dynasty World Tour, and an absolutely amazing world-class concert. This Kazakh album features songs composed by Dimash, including my personal favorite An Unforgettable Day. This song takes me through an intoxicating journey of the most beautiful human feelings about first love, sweet and tender with a gentle melancholy, yet passionate and overwhelming. New songs Salem, Sweet Memories and Last Words are lovely and upbeat, while Juldyzym comes with a bit of an irresistible tease in his voice. Traditional Kazakh music dombra and Daididau is presented to the world with the deepest love for his homeland and culture. My White Swan with Ms. Maira Muhamed, his respected mentor, is a heavenly duet that's simply beyond words. Hope in despair and love in distress, the painful struggle with betrayal in this beautifully sad song is heart-felt via stunning vocal mastery. I love this album, and would also highly recommend checking out the full video of the Bastau concert for more breathtaking performance by Dimash including Daybreak, The Diva Dance, S.O.S, etc.

1. Best of The Best! - As one of th most important artists of the 's radio sythn scene, Howard's global success is one of the reasons that even in , he's still able to sell out tours every two years, crank our quilaty albums about every three years, and is always asked to headline many of the Retro Music festivals when not on his own tours or producing a new generation of artists. This is the first comprehensive Greatest Hits every, as the mainstream market may not know many of his club and alternative radios hits after he fought to be released from his Warner Brothers contract, as well as the battle that ensued to get his tracks back in his possesion. Once he received them back into his possession, Howard had all of his Warner albums remastered, including the two "ers Compilations and the Action Replay EP of remixes, and put out affordable box sets with every track and every remix including many DJ only club mix of super rare releases like "Powerhouse." Starting with track on this compilation, you'll begin to hear cronologically what Howard was working on and releasing on his own award winning label deTox Records, London. And becuase Howard is a constant innovator and has to be experienced live, a few additional live performances and a remix have been supplied. So is this album perfect? No. Fans may be slightly sad to see that "Someone You Need" Howard's massive radio hit duet with Dunkin Sheik, has been replaced with the all Howard version which appeard on the Ordinary Heros album. It was probably a licensing issue between the two labels. So that's unfortunate as the duet is superior version giving the tug of emotions between the two singers. Lastly, it's great to see that Howard has honored his fans by including a couple deep tracks that were always fan favorites but rarely performed out at gig until later. Tracks like "Speciaity" off the Dream Into Action Album (one of my all time favorites) and "Little Bit of Snow" a techincal UK only release. However, surprisingly the only "single" to be left off was the track "Lovers & Angles" which only appeared on the album called Lovers & Angles" in Japan where the amazing dance and remix single by the same name was released. Fan will quickly point out that album "Lovers & Angles" with some track shuffling and a few additions, eventually became the album, "People" one of Howard's most sucessful deTox released albums after his days with WB. Only to be outdone by his 'return to sythn' extravaganza album Revolution of the Heart, an instant classic. If you are not familar with much of Howard's work after the WB days, I suggest you check out some of the amazing music from track on, including the heart wrenching "Soon You'll Go", a song written to his daughter as she moved from their home and head to college. The use of the Men's Chior in the middle will bring anyone with eveb half a heart to tears. Please note that the big night club hits that Howard had in the late 's and as the featured or sometimes sampled vocals, do not appear on here becuase they are not technically his tracks. But those hits would sure round out this collection if for nothing more than to continue to show the impact Howard had on radio & dance floors for more than years. Rock on Hojo! - Matt Consola

1. Interesting re-workings - As implied in the title, Chris Rea re-worked some of his songs from his albums up until that point, some more drastically than others, to varying effect, depending on how you felt about the original. Thinking about it now, it's both natural yet curious how the vast majority of the songs were of more recent vintage. On the one hand, it's kind of a test bed for "alternate mixes" that were just starting to become in vouge at the time, plus it was music that his newfound audience in Europe were more familiar with, yet on the other hand, given how he was not particularly happy with the production of his first albums (Benny Santini and Deltics in particular), those would seem riper for re-interpretation the way he would have preferred to do them. In fact, only his big hit from those first albums (Fool If You Think It's Over) is included here, and for me at least, the version of "Fool" here (and remakes to follow) lose a lot in translation (even though it has become the de facto version for newer Rea fans). The rest of the songs are at least interesting "what-if" versions and some I like better than the originals. Working On It was the obligatory new (as in not previously released) song and did get some airplay on rock stations in its day.

1. Reddy for the best! - Updated "jazz" versions of Helen's hits as they were performed in concert later in her career. This is Helen at her best!!! This is a definite must have for any Helen fan or for anyone who appreciates excellent vocals and music arangements. "Here In My Arms" is a modern classic and the song that lured Helen back into the recording studio. Give it a listen, you won't be disappointed!

2. Re-release (& misleadingly titled) jazz record from - Buyer beware... these are NOT the hit versions of "I Am Woman", "Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady", "Angie Baby", "You and Me Against the World", "Leave Me Alone (Ruby Red Dress)", "I Don't Know How To Love Him" & "Delta Dawn" but rather re-recordings Helen did with a Jazz quintet in on her own label. She does have new songs on here (Tracks , , & ) as well as stellar tracks from her long-forgotten, underappreciated album on MCA: "IMAGINATION" This jazz album, originally titled "FEEL SO YOUNG" is available much cheaper on her official website.

1. Great nd Deluxe Edition, a few mistakes tho - First, it’s so nice to have her catalog get a proper reissue campaign outside of Japan for once! The Physical one was awesome, although imperfect, as is this. Although packaged to celebrate her debut album from , the bonus disc dips back to the beginning of her recording career to ! The Toomorrow selections are a bit puzzlingly since one is an album track, not an a-side, and then has the b-side to their first single. The other songs by Toomorrow are clearly some kind of vinyl rip with an attempt to clean them up, but they sound bad and are included in the description as part the “remastered from the tapes” tracks in the description, so that is odd. They comprise a single and b-side released after the Toomorrow album, which may be why they had no master to use(?). Some other tracks on the bonus disc are mislabeled/misordered on the sleeve, so be aware. Hopefully iTunes will have it fixed and labeled properly. I have the actual CDs that have a nice forward from Olivia, so this was ready before her death . Can’t wait to read the booklet! Anyway, it’s a wonderful collection that mostly does right to archive her career. Can’t wait for the next deluxe edition of ONJ!

2. Simply amazing - After the sad passing of Olivia it’s simply amazing having the remastered and full edition of her debut album in the US. In the hands of a Vinny Vero this deluxe edition, including previously unreleased tracks is a real way to celebrate one of the most beautiful voices in pop / country music. This is pure Olivia in her youth. Thanks Primary Wave for releasing the album in full!!

1. Wow! - A solid album. Fun and thoughtful. Noisy and musical. And other dichotomies. It seems to take from a lot of different places musically, and, yet, it comes together as an album that is both original and unified. Beyond that, hard to describe. The samples will give you an idea of what it's like musically. Though to really know the songs, you'll have to buy it to hear the whole songs. Top notch album.

1. Lost-and-Found Classic Lives Up to the Hype - It's December , and for the moment there are no liner notes on iTunes for this amazing record! So until such time as the folks-in-question see fit to update things, here's what you need to know: "Orange Cloud Nine" is a compilation of several lo-fi home recordings made by Dutch musician Spike Wolters in the early s. These tracks are heavy on the guitar and drum machine, and don't so much "sound modern" as exist outside of time, iconoclastic gems that have invited comparison to everyone from Steely Dan to Italians Do It Better. (Though for my money, I am reminded heavily of Guided by Voices. Not that Wolters sounds much like them--there's just something about the conciseness of these recordings, their up-front DIYness, and their consistent cool.) Long story short, if you like unearthing an overlooked bit of genius now and then, consider taking "Orange" for a spin. It just may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

1. The Conduit - Brilliant beyond words - There are very few singer-songwriters who have created a "perfect" album: one in which every song is unique and of equal brilliance; an album one can listen to over and over and never tire and never skip a song. Alicia Witt did that with her Revisionary History; she's done it again six years later with The Conduit. The deliciously complex musicality combined with hauntingly seductive lyrics is so beautiful and so complex you hear something new each time. I have listened to it several times a day since downloading and can't get enough. This woman is brilliant and this album is great beyond words. Download NOW. You won't regret it!
