1. Nice to see DnB getting some recognition - It's nice to see that an album consisting solely of Drum and Bass made it to the main Dance page. However there are some tracks in this selection that don't really strike me as being summer DnB songs. The prime examples of this are Synth City and Kingpin. I feel that these songs go against the theme of this album. While most of the other songs are liquid funk, these two, Kingpin especially, break form. Overall it's a good album, and I hope its popularity can put some much deserved focus on the genre here in the States

2. "Summer's Here!" - "And The Time Is Right For Dancing In The Streets!"-We were over in London during the hot Summer of and it seemed like just about everywhere we went; Market Places; Outdoor Festivals; Pubs At Night; There was a new; strangely infectious style of Music in the air!-I asked a DJ at Camden Locks about it and it was there I first heard the term "Drum And Bass" and he showed me and my son how he mixes it; Right then & there and was making up Mix CD's for this open-air Market!-Now this style has hit the States big-time; Showing up in many TV Commercials; So now "Drum & Bass" has gone mainstream!-Leave it to those smart Brits to lead the way again! (Remember "The British Invasion"; Of The Beatles & The Stones?)-I Do!-So; "Just Dig It!"…by Grimmbo. For sheer energy; enjoyment and entertainment; "Just Dig It!"…by Grimmbo.

1. An Outstanding Intro to the World of D'n'B - This was the very first exposure I've ever had to drum 'n' bass and, needless to say, I'm now hooked. This album is basically a delicious, explosive platter sampling almost every (good) subgenre of d'n'b there is, including techstep, breakcore, and the like. Some tracks (i.e. California Schemin') are meant for dancing, and would fit perfectly as hyper car chase music, while others (i.e. Science) are meant more for listening, or perhaps general "grooving" (i.e. Culture). If you aren't going to buy the whole album, then at least purchase "California Schemin'", "Science", "Violent Sound" and "Culture", the best songs on the entire album. Don't get me wrong, though--every single song is pure gold (or platinum), and songs like "Mass Transit" and "Dead Planet" make you want to keep listening over and over again. A year later, I'm still hooked and listen to these songs over and over again.

2. A Few Too Few - This isn't a bad album, but few too few songs actually stand out and make a lasting impression. Most of the songs start out not-to-shabby, but don't really grip the listener into a groove-entralled state of mind. Most of the songs are just too easy and lack complexity. After a few rounds of the album, it becomes quickly forgotten. It's an average work of music.

3. Wow - This album is pretty freakin' crazy. I'm not crazy about some of the jazzy tracks in the middle of the album, but the beginning and end are sick. If you don't want to get the whole thing, get "California Schemin'" and "Culture". Overall though it's a great album, easy to listen to front to back.

4. Boundless Creativity - "Culture" and "Dead Planet" gave me goosebumps. Their hybrid hip hop beats are a great in-between for those hard beats per minute songs. "California Schemin'" was like the Hive version of "Sabotage" by The Beastie Boys. Certain tracks on here experiment with new drum arrangements, and others are in more traditional fashion; so there's a little of everything--jazz, intense femme vocals, and groud-breaking original beats. I'll be listening to it for the rest of the month at least, and I'm sure I'll hear some friends spinning some of these tracks on vinyl when I come home. What appealed to me the most in this compilation was Hive's notorious old school samples and snagging beats and Gridlok's evil bass. Keaton and Echo are new to me, and they'll definitely have my listen on their next work. I recommend this work to any DnB head and any person in for a taste of real electronic music.

1. Pretty - This album is akin to the most cathartic therapy session you have ever experienced, invaluable for the price. Highly danceable beats, yet delicate enough to play for a baby, Etherwood is truly healing to the individual and thus the planet as a whole. Undoubtedly inspired by Angelic souces, this work is indicative of the coming golden age and musical proof our planet is blessed by the most high. If we could time-travel Beethoven to the present day (preferably in a magic phone booth), he would be totally impressed. Big up to London Elektricity for his diligent scouting on this one.

2. st Album Preorder Ever - This is the first time I have ever preordered an album, and also the first time I have written a review on an album. I have never been so excited for the release of an album before, and It was well worth the wait. If you listened to the sample podcast of the album on Hospital Records awhile back, I highly rebcommend this album. Can't wait to see what this artist will put out next, this album will have your nipples swaying along with some excessive head bobbage! Must have for any dnb lover!

3. On par with Netsky and Camo & Krooked! - Beautiful music. Do yourself a favor and download Etherwood's other songs that are not included in this album! For all of you complaining about missing the "old Netsky" you will likely enjoy Etherwood. One thing I don't understand is why it was Labeled under Medschool instead of Hospital Records (which owns Medschool). Etherwood is good D&B through and through which Hospital is all about. Medschool usually doesn't do D&B, but more other types of electronic. Technicalities, I'm looking forward to more Etherwood!

1. Fresh, witty disco dnb makes you feel so good - Talk about a nod to the past breathing fresh life into the future. Take note this album lets you know right out the gate with "turn back the time" exactly what you are in for. As if the sexy production on this morphing sweeping beauty wasn't enough it continues through a feel good anticipation builder "all night"to a disco raging "move around" then smooths it all out with a serious Top Gun meets the fugees vibe in "faith". Well played Camo and Krooked, well played....

2. Unbelievable - After years of waiting, the gods return with this. it's a masterpiece, and nothing sort of that title. not one bad song on here and if you're even close to a fan of these two, you will not be able to stop listening for time to come. granted i might have to with new downlink tomorrow, new and feed me this month, but ill still find time, and so should you. buy it, listen to it, and love it. /.

1. Sweet baby Jesus - Leave aside the fact that I've been waiting for "Shiver" by Ed.it & Geographix (known as "Cold Air" pre-release) to be released for over two years now. Leave aside the fact that I at least like every track in the collection and love almost as many. TWENTY SIX SOLID TRACKS and a mix for seven bucks? You'd have to be a Dave Guetta fan to pass this up.

2. Glorious. - Once again Hospital delivers the goods. Another epic and thrilling compilation this time curated by Woody Etherwood who’s very much man of the moment behind the labels purple south west London gates. There’s lots to get excited about here in terms of exclusive tracks and it’s hard to pick a favorite, but Spectrasound’s remix of “Hold My Breath” is pretty wonderful. Forget labels and what you think you do and don’t like - give this a go. You won’t be disappointed.

1. Finally on iTunes - Got addicted to several songs on this album when I heard them on Pandora. I've been looking all over for this album, and they finally put it on iTunes. Great album with some great beats. His singing annoys me sometimes, but the beats are fantastic. Summer Haze is my favorite tune on the album.

1. More Excellent Work from Logistics - This is a top-notch album. Every tune on here is high quality, and several tunes, namely Transcending and Forevergreen really stand out. This is in keeping with all of Logistics’ previous releases. This is an artists who very clearly feels his craft deeply, and is almost uniquely capable of producing electronic music that is emotionally evocative without being cheesy. Lovely!

2. Just what the doctor ordered - A return to the classic Hospital sound which Logistics helped shape; uplifting piano chords, euphoric basslines and sublime vocal chops abound, alongside acoustic guitars and luscious strings. Collaborators on this project include new talents Hugh Hardie and Maduk, veteran producer Sonic, vocalists Will Robert and Lifford, and of course brother Dan Nu:Tone. But what really works here is simply the timing. The Press Release doesn’t scream it and the cover only sort of does but this is a beautiful summer album - built to be listen to when the sun is shining and the sky is blue. There’s something very organic about the sound here. That’s not to say it doesn’t have that classic hospital sense of mechanized soul but there’s something else here, something happier, more human even— romantic. Perfect music to simply drift away and float on clouds of euphoric drum and bass. Once again congratulations are due to Tony and the rest of the family for again providing us with an album very much of its season and moment in time.

1. What’s not to like? - This album is simply amazing, and to think it’s from a -year-old. His mixture of classical piano accompanied by entrancing drum patterns is brilliant. His Amen Breaks in Break the Silence our simply incredible. Vocals from Louisa Bass and Zoë Klinck are absolutely perfect for his style. One of the best drum and bass albums of , if not the best, for sure.

2. Instant classic from Keeno!!! - Been watching Keeno, hearing him pop up here and there in dnb sets and on Hospital podcast. This man delivers from top to bottom. I rarely ever buy dnb albums, generally just pick the singles I like. This one is worth every penny, I assure you. Drum & bass is alive and well, and that's thanks in part to Keeno! big up!!!!

1. the perfect example of why I love drum and bass - this is such an epic album. it is a collaboration of premier dnb artists and they come up with some of the most memorable songs in this genre of music. The beats are very catchy and the melodies are just as great. My arguably favorite track as of now is make it go away by mista. U should give it a listen.

1. Great DNB form the violence camp - The violence crew does it again! I wish Hive had put a tune on this EP but alas he did not. These are dancefloor oriented tunes. No Crossroads really does a number on your bassbins while Lost Chapters is for the experienced and grimey DNB head. Overall a great pack of tunes to add to your collection!

1. Very good Breakcore Album - This was a very pleasing album to listen to and the masterfully assorted beats and sounds definitely are great to listen to whether I am feeling good and want something fast paced to listen to or quite bad and need something to think and listen through. Good album. Personal favorite songs are Swinging in His Cell and Mr. Kill Myself

1. So much beautiful energy. - A truly powerful ep. Im a little late to the party but a recent Forza game laid Keeno on me. Fantastic beauty and melodic DnB for anyone to behold. I'm sure most of the people on here know Keeno because of Hospital, but a recommendation to anyone who adores this style of music should check out Bachelors of Science. So many similar vibes at the same bpms, and equally dope artists.

2. Relaxation Musica - As a music producer I love to tap into different genres and hear different producers and their work. I found out about Keeno on Spotify and I must say the EP has got me hooked! Chill n Bass is now on my top five genres next to Bossa Nova & Classical, Hiphop, Instrumental, and Tribal. Moreso for those who are now just hearing this do know that this EP is truly a classic.

3. Chill Drum & Bass - I just started to listen to drum & bass more this year and this is right there at the top with my favorites. Every track well worth a listen multiple times. If you enjoy Hybrid Minds or Etherwood's latest offerings, you'll no doubt love this one. If I only could pick one, I would pick up "Hold Ya"

1. One of the Best Remix Albums from Hospital - This is by far one of the best remix albums to come out of Hospital-- Etherwood's 'Forest Fires' remix is one of his best to date (with his signature ambient piano and vocals), Frederic Robinson's remix of 'Major Happy' has the same huge quality of disjointed uniqueness that I've heard in his remix of 'Somewhere' on BMT, Keeno's rework of 'Better Times Are Coming' has the same spectacular punctual-to-sustain building synth sound as 'Another Night, Another Day' from his debut album, and many others are just quality tunes. Highly recommend !!

1. Where is the mix??? - The entire reason to buy this compilation is the continuous mix. I’m not sure if Apple realizes but the DJ mix in dance/electronic music is hugely important. I feel bad for hospital records losing out on revenue because of apples crappy new policy on not allowing large file continuous DJ mixes. The individual tracks obviously get a five star review but I had to give it one star because what’s the point of a mix compilation if the mix is missing.
