1. Amazing Talent - I had the pleasure to see him open for Elle King at the House of Blues Houston. He's performance was wonderfully filled with soul and a voice so powerful I don't think he needed a mic. I didn't know who he was at the time but as soon as the concert was over I bought his album. Bonus for me he is a Texas boy. Great album!

Top notch songwriting, tasteful playing and arrangement - From the opening chords of "Monday (Every time I Turn Around) through a journey of top notch songwriting, tasteful playing and arrangement and good performances and finally ending on a little rock message of perseverance on "Shape Of A Wheel" you'll find a band that has made the album of their career. No, it doesn't have a "Radar Gun" or a "Thousand Dollar Car" on it. It isn't an album of radio hits. But this album, more than any of their others, carries an uplifting message song after song for the middle man, the common guy. . Brian Henneman (singer, songwriter, guitarist) has stated that this is the first album he wasn't tiring of by the time it was released. Having a career that started with the legendary Uncle Tupelo and going non-stop ever since.... that is some high praise. Highlights include a love song to a dog: "Dog", a love song with a hidden message for Brian Henneman's wife, "Big Lotsa Love", and a co-write with the highly talented Henningsens, "Something Good." And that leaves a lot of great songs off the table. Definitely worth checking out.

2. Bottle Rockets soar again - Fantastic album that ranks with their best. Forget all the labels like alt country --the rockets make great rock music. Catchy tunes, clever and often amusing lyrics about getting along in life, and songs that have amazing energy. This album is strong start to finish. Don't miss them live--simply one of the best bands out there.

1. Not very good - I think they really got away from what made them on this album. All of their other albums featured songs that were upbeat with a bluegrass feel to them. This album doesn't have any of that which makes it just like any other so called country band out there......drowning in a pool of booze because the wife left and your dog died. Great way to be forgotten.

2. LOVE this album... - The latest from country sensation Wrinkle Neck Mules is an instant classic. This great album keeps the old school steel guitar/fiddle sound of old with catchy chorus' and addictive vocals/lyrics. For the true WNM fan, it may not be the masterpiece of "The Wicks Have Met"; but "Apprentice to Ghosts" will definitely draw in new listeners without alienating their old fans. Keep 'em coming WNM, and the country scene will be forced to reconize the calibur of music you consistently put out.

2. I Never Thought I Would Go This Far... - When I heard about this "Wrinkle Neck Mules" release, I waited and saved a few iTunes credits in case it there were a few memorable tracks, but this song collection is excellent!!!! I wish I had saved more credits! Their latest effort has a fantastic variety of Alt. Country, Roots Rock, Bluegrass, Tight Vocal Harmony with overtones of "The Band" and "The Rolling Stones". I enjoy hearing Accordion and Banjo coming through with the solid rock foundation laid down by this group. "I Never Thought It Would Go This Far" has something for every fan of Americana/Alt. Country. I know I'm gushing but at least I'm not doing Malt Liquor. Great job guys! "Big Suburban"

It’s cute but if it was “her” album it would have only her music in it. Like a new album full of new music that is hers. 1. AWESOME - I bought this album many, many years ago before compact discs. So I got it on tape I have since unfortunately lost the tape. I tried desperately to buy on compact disc once they came out, but again they didn't but this album out on disc. My point in all of this that out of my entire music collection at the time this is the only album I would not have parted with. I am extremely delighted to see that it is here. I looked here before and I didn't see it or maybe an oversight on my part. But for those Anne Murray fans this is a must have album. I feel the same way today about this album as I did then.

My favorite is "Great Minds Drink Alike" because it seems many of us come up with great ideas over a Bud or another cocktail of choice. 3. Amazing Album - Diana's vocals are absolutely stunning. On Gemini, she shows what a powerhouse vocalist she is singing a variety of vocal styles and musical arrangements that are just outstanding. She wrote of the songs on the album. The songs were written in New York with her friend Dylan Glathorn in New York at NYU and are excellent. The only cover song on the album is TNT from AC/DC which sounds amazing with a new and fresh country swing sound to it. You can hear Diana's musical influence of Patsy Cline on the album in the songs Two Hearts and Stain on My Heart. These two emotional ballads will become musical favorites for many years. Diana had the best musicians with her in the recording studio when the album was recorded in Nashville and the musical arrangements are just great. Absolutely love every song on the album... Amazing, Amazing and Amazing album!!!!!

1. This Album Was Built JCM Tough - I don't think this album is about country, redefining country, or filling a missing gap in country music. I think it's about an artist finding roots, hence the album's title, Uncountry. When you grow up listening to a lot of really good music, it stays with you. You can hear the lendings of some of that music on this album. Through the course of the album, I'm taken from moments that remind me of O Brother, Where Art Thou to moments that make me feel like I'm at an Alan Jackson tribute concert. I love the dynamic range of the music, how it totally rocks out, then sinks into a dark, intimate acoustic sound bed, perhaps with a little confession attached to it, as is often the case in country music. This album covers a lot of ground, but one thing is consistent throughout - an amazing, heartfelt delivery from Jason Charles Miller, complimented by some stellar instrumental performances. This album looks into the rearview mirror, but keeps an eye on the road ahead in an industry where most artists are runnin' on empty and playin' the game.

2. not a typical country album - Don't let the genre this album is located in turn you away if you aren't a fan. This album is a (somewhat southern) rocking, singer-songwriter styled slice of musical awesomeness. Both acoustic and electrified styles are represented here, and Jason's voice, and the passion with which he sings are incredible. If you are thinking there is no way a "goth-rock" vocalist could posibly pull off an album like this, you would be wrong, and mising out on one of the best albums I've heard in quite some time. Buy this album NOW! You won't be disappointed.

3. JM does it again!! - Uncountry is melodic and gritty and heavy with emotion. His voice is effortless, which is evident in such songs like, Into Temptation and Learn to Live with It. The title track, Uncountry is the perfect kick start to the album. Jason Charles Miller is everything county music is missing!! Enjoy the album!! And be sure to pick up his Ep, Last to go Home!
