2. Magnificent. - It’s a deep dive of whimsical, magical, serious, and fun tracks that will get you up. Her siren esc voice and dreamy production creates a whirlwind of strange visceral visuals. I love how Caroline creates a theme in her projects, down to the font on the album cover. She is such a threat in the music industry right now and needs to be taken seriously.

3. An earthy, subdued, and mature take on Pop music - Taking us on a journey through her experience with desire, Caroline Polachek enlists a team of strong collaborators and a breadth of eclectic instrumentals (see Spanish guitar on Sunset, or bagpipes on Blood and Butter). Beginning the album with welcoming us to her island (perhaps her inner thoughts) and stating that she wants to “turn into” desire is a strong yet intelligent contrast to ending the album with “Billions” where she and her children’s choir tell us they have never “felt so close to you (perhaps desire).” Some standouts for me include the lead single “Bunny is a Rider,” “I Believe,” “Blood and Butter,” “Butterfly Net,” and “Billions.”

1. What IS this? I can't even. - I'm writing this review for all the -somethings who grew up idolizing ONJ. For all the girls who rollerskated in their driveways to the Xanado soundtrack, and who only sang the naughty words to the Grease soundtrack when you were in the backyard with your friends, out of earshot of your parents. Remember growing up in the 's, and going to your favorite amusement park, where they'd have those "recording studio" locations? You and your friends could pay $ and cram into the little studio, and sing along to your favorite songs and they'd record it and give you a tape? That's EXACLTY what this album reminds me of. Crappy, canned music and unimaginative vocal stylings. I knew I would be hard to please, because I LOOOVE ONJ. She was my first concert when I was about . I really TRIED to like this album. But this girl's voice sounds EXACTLY the same (same effects, or auto-tuning, or whatever) on every single track. And the music is seriously lacking. Like what you'd hear at a Karaoke bar. I'm really annoyed that I spent money on this. REALLY. ANNOYED. Hoping I'll save someone else from making the same mistake. If you're feeling nostalgic, drag out your "Physical" album and run far away from THIS atrocity.

2. Terrible mixing and a one hit wonder - No, Juliana. We don't care that you made some bad investments that require you to come out of your forced retirement for being too much a Sheryl Crow wannabe. You're going to have to find something else to support you. Your one hit wonder in the s was not it then. And trying to cover Olivia Newton John is not now. The only saving grace is your sound mixer decided to try to drown your voice out with the wall of instrumentals so much so it's almost instrumental.

3. Juliana and Olivia - Totally Hot - Being a fan of both greats, this project done beautifully by Juliana Hatfield makes my heart sing. The way she keeps the heart of a song intact while giving it just the right touches shows her love for the project and the people that will listen to these great songs.

4. Fresh Takes on ONJ - Ms. Hatfield does covers of Olivia Newton-John classics with reverence, yet is not afraid to put her own spin on them, giving them new life, making you appreciate the songs all over again. My favorite tracks are the ones that are completely different than the originals — "Totally Hot" and, surprisingly "Dancin' Round and Round," a song I never really liked that much before, but boy this version is fantastic! I'm sure Olivia Newton-John is very delighted with this collection.

5. Unexpectedly good - It is unexpected to find this two singers crossing paths in this Juliana's new project. The emblematic rocker and the music made iconic by the aussie star blend perfectly well. Where Juliana can t achieve Olivia s perfect voice she adds a smart twist that converts this tribute in something more than a mere tribute. It would have been interesting to listen a duet of this two great singers thou.

6. Juliana Sings Olivia Newton-John - What a treat! I absolutely love this excellent compilation of Juliana's! I have always loved Olivia, and hearing Juliana's rendition of her songs is so refreshing and exciting as Juliana recreates them is her own style of which is just excellent! I'm so happy with this new album! Thank you, Juliana for this amazing work, and of course, ThankYyou, Olivia, for all the joy you have brought to my life!!

7. Juliana Newton-John - I love that Juliana is giving Olivia credit for her body of work, I’ve heard some of the songs & they sound great fresh and alive. I can’t wait to hear the rest. Oh I hope Juliana makes available her version of Heart Attack & Deeper than the night cause I love these songs as well. Great job Juliana.

8. Great Songs - Reinterpreted - Love this album! Especially the reworking of I Honestly Love You and the Xanadu fan favorite Suspended in Time. Juliana has infused a fresh and youthful spirit to these songs, most which were hits to years ago. Olivia's music has stood the test of time and I'm happy to see another artist paying tribute to her. Well done.

1. One star. - I wrote a one star review for inconvenience on account of technical difficulty. I pre-ordered the Siamés home album and had to repurchase every single song. I got every song but still can’t buy summer nights. I’m trying to download it but there’s no response. I restarted my phone and tried again without success. I am very frustrated. I love the music. I hate that I had to rate it like this but I payed double the price and I still don’t have the full album. I’m sure someone can understand, right?

2. Find A Long Road - This is music for a road trip that takes you far from gridlock and road rage. Soley is more interested in exploring her inner landscape than conforming to pop conventions. There is a natural ease and quiet joy in her explorations. It is difficult to determine whether you stepped into her dream, or found her just waking up. Either way it’s a trip worth taking.

With every song having some sort of meaning to him and having that relayed to us with with every ounce of emotion poured into his instruments brings a cohesive debut. 2. Just what we needed. - Most people have safe retreats or “escapes” from the realities and struggles of every day life. Many of those safe retreats include; music, movies, sports and hanging out with family and friends at restaurants. Since going to concerts, movies, sporting events and hanging out at restaurants has been put on hold for a while all of a sudden this pond of water shimmers out in the distance of the desert, like a oasis... but this is no mirage.... this is the real thing and I am going to drink all I can.

3. Excellent! - I have heard songs so far, from here. If the songs "Up To Here","It's Only Money", and "Swamp Song" are any indication, this album will be an excellent album and a contendor for number on my top of the year. Easdale and company does it again. Then again, I have NEVER been disappointed by a Dramarama album. I highly recommend this cd and that is even without hearing most of it.

I'm glad that Isobel Campbell hasn't stopped making music though. So if you ever stumble upon this amazing band, (probably from the song Falling From Grace) just give it all a good listen. The romance and emotion felt from You Shine gives you butterflies in your stomach while Say Hello gives a more relaxing and happy tone that reminds you of Summertime as a child. Remarkable album.

1. I swear it’s just Duvet. - The vocals sound like Mitski, the writing sounds like My Chemical Romance, and the music itself is reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac. Actually a perfect combination. The entire album is quite good, but due to the popularity on TikTok, most tend to primarily focus on Duvet. Great album, /, definitely recommend listening to it’s entirety.

1. Great band, Beautiful Music - I literally can not believe the low amount of reviews on this album/band. This music is now the only stuff I listen to for the most part. The beats are, quite frankly, binge worthy. If that doesn’t catch you (it should) the vocals and lyrics certainly will. I recommend this music for the lonely and the loved. Please do your self a favor and buy this album, sit in a dark room and enjoy.
