1. Mesmerizing and Wonderful - As a selfish indie-music snob, I am always happy to have music to myself and share with those close around me. When this music is blaring out of my office, it always generates a buzz from my colleagues that sounds like this: "Who are you listening to?”… I’m actually amazed that there is such little fanfare in the indie music scene for these guys. Their vibe, sound and overall production is simply mesmerizing, a little haunting, but definitely wonderfully pieced together. Snowden - give us more please.

1. Melodic-Pop Perfection - Being an owner of Mr. Donley’s first CDs, I was excited to hear what he had put into his third solo release, “”. The tracks for this installment still have a warm, familiar, acoustic-pop sound but it feels fuller & richer from his other work. Most impressively (for me) were the tracks that had a more blues influence (“Arms Length”) or “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”, which has a touch of ’s power-ballad-goodness. My favorites upon first listen were “Knockout”, “Regift”, “Nowhere” & “Blue Gray”. Chris’ voice seems to defy the long nights of touring and preforming and sounds the best it has on his solo records so far. If you’re a supporter of independent artists, I think “” is a good please to start.

2. I am loving this album! - Chris was in LA recently and I caught a show - first of all what am great entertainer!! I love the covers he played but honestly it was the original work that has had me hooked! This album is the perfect mix of acoustic-electric melodies. Chris's voice is amazing and perfectly fits the songs. The lyrics are deep but simple - I can't get enough. Everything this guy puts out seems to make it's way to my collection - I highly reccommend it to anyone no matter what your taste in music. Blue-Gray is one of my personal favorites!!

3. Extra-Ordinary Musicianship - hasn't left my Victrola since I received my wax cylinder via Pony Express! It's regrettable that Chris is so old (now in his thirties!) and in the twilight of the average man's lifespan, otherwise I'm sure we'd have heard even more wonderful recordings from him! See this living legend in concert while you still can! One can only hope that he's passed his talent on to at least one of the many grandchildren he's sired whilst touring our young nation. Godspeed, Mr. Donley, godspeed!

5. Best Album Yet! - This album has been my favorite Chris Donley release yet! It’s the perfect mixture of acoustic and rock mixed in with thoughtful lyrics and the perfect amount of catchy-ness. The production is very tight and a great album to listen to while driving because it has a little of everything! If I had a third thumb I would put that up as well!

6. Yet Another Solid Peice Of Art - From his work with his hard rock acts to his accoustic guitar, Chris has produced another lyrically and musically solid album. If you like lyrics that mean something and songs that are actually songs with someone who can actually sing them, you'll like this record and his work. I do!

7. Love this album!!! - has a perfect mix of acoustic melodies and upbeat pop songs...Chris Donley covers all bases with this record. His witty lyrics strung together with great beats and all tiger thee great overall sound makes it so you don't want to skip around. He also has one of the best covers of Tears For Fears "Everyone Wants To Rule The World" that I've heard! Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! He is extremely talented and it shows with each and every song!
