I love mythology-Rome and Greek- So good! I enjoy stories with morals, poems, rhymes, and popular kids’ stories. This practically has it all! Keep it going, please! It’s been so long. I don’t have much to read, listen, or watch about Rome mythology. And people who are interested can listen too! Though, I have a whole book about Greek mythology. 2. Special Way to Bond With My Kids Every Night - My kids love this podcast, and so do I. They have their favorite episodes that we come back to again and again, but we also look forward to new episodes each week! I love how they bring in other kids’ podcast storytellers, too. It gives us a chance to try other new podcasts, but ultimately, we keep coming back to this one. These storytellers bring a variety of perspectives and types of stories, so there’s bound to be certain stories or series of tales your kids will latch onto. On a separate note, I recently saw some critical reviews complaining about gender presentation in some episodes. These stories are for everyone. If you don’t personally relate to one, that’s fine. But please don’t try to ruin something so wonderful because you can’t fathom a life experience outside your own. I would have loved to have this as a kid.

4. Preview before your children listen - I adored this podcast. So creative, great narrators, fun specials like the cereal brackets! but in the past years, stories have been written with a strong POV on gender that does not align with the values of all listeners. It feels like propaganda because there is no transparency in the story notes. Please give caretakers the respect of notifying them that a story will use language the introduces gender ideology. When you don’t do this, many feel excluded and pushed out of the circle. We don’t all have the same view of the world and have varying ideas of what is beautiful and true and good. I think you have good intentions. Please know you’ve caused grief in homes for caregivers who do not promote the current ideology. Instead of being inclusive with characters that exemplify gender nonconformity, you’re confusing kids and introducing adult topics about sexuality. Kids simply want universally good stories. I will sadly unsubscribe and stop paying because you probably won’t make a considerate change because of the fear of cancellation by totalitarian activists. I’m sorry to go.

4. Fantastic Podcast! - Hi! I am Hannah, and I am turning on April th. I really enjoy this podcast because tend to have trouble falling asleep. But this helps me fall asleep! Without this pod cast it can take me - hours to fall asleep, but with these it only takes half an hour to minutes! My only complaint is that i need to go through - episodes to make me fall asleep and sometimes it doesn’t automatically switch to the next episode, so it is slightly inconvenient for me to have to look at the blue light of my phone that makes me less tired. 3. So good. - I am so grateful for this show. It’s such a lovely mix of silly and traditional, with really wonderful storytellers. Our six-year-old absolutely loves it, and as a person who has always loved stories, I enjoy it as well. I think the most wonderful media for kids often has nuggets for parents, too… I know I certainly appreciate that! 4. We LOVE super great kids stories! - This podcast is so delightful! My daughter who is now , has been listening and loving these stories for years. We have heard almost every one and she often says at the end, “Again!” There are many traditional stories from around the world that are awesome as are the crazy talented storytellers. 5. rebel getter - Ok so like I love this podcast and all the books and stuff but my complaint is that you can only listen to a handful of the episodes on Apple Podcasts to get the rest of them your have to download the app which I just don’t like. 8. Refreshing! - I am so pleased to have found stories that highlight virtues throughout the WHOLE STORYLINE. Other resources I’ve found first unfold a plot line with incorrect/unkind ways the characters treated each other, only ending the story with them learning the right way to react (i.e. Arthur/Berenstain Bears). I tell you, my kids picked up on the unkind examples in the first half of those type of stories faster than the virtues in last minutes of them. So it was incredibly refreshing to listen to Lamplighter’s stories the whole way though, thinking, “Yes, this is how I want my kids to treat one another!”

The podcast also used to release a new episode each Tuesday and my son looked forward to it weekly. Poor response from Mr Jim team and disappointed kid - My kid loves this podcast, but on the podcast they invite kids to join the spy team by going to the website and filling out a form for an access card. We did this, but the website is glitchy and there’s no confirmation that the form was received. I messaged the podcast page first through the website then via Facebook, and despite my fb message being marked as “read,” the person who received the message will not reply to me. My son is disappointed and asking every day if his access card will come in. So to the Mr Jim team, we appreciate your podcasts, but please don’t advertise something to young hopeful kids then not follow through or even respond to messages.

3. Saved our y/o during power outage - We had a freak snowstorm this past weekend and had limited entertainment options. 3. Love this show - Born and raised in the big city but now work in rural areas so I can appreciate this show about life far out from the more populated areas of Alaska. Besides being cute, Molly is also smart, caring, and resourceful. Living out in the middle of no where, one needs all of these in order to live and survive. Love the voices of the characters especially grandpa Nat! I feel his voice sounds like that of a respected native elder. Love the background music as well. Your show and podcast gives me a good feeling of life in the rural areas of Alaska. Please make more episodes!

2. I would love to give this a better review - I can’t let my boy listen to this anymore. There seems to be a effort to include lgbtq scenes that are inappropriate for children. We used to look forward to new releases and now I have to either skip through or delete stories. Won’t be listening to it anymore

After a year of remote school, my kindergartener has become resistant to anything he interprets as a reading lesson. 2. Amazing! - I love this podcast as much as the kids do. Fantastic music! The songs are so creative and get stuck in your head- in a good way! Each letter has their own song, and they are adorable. I would totally buy a cd of all the letter’s songs? Please tell me this exists- I would totally jam out to it in my car with or without my kids.

3. Best New Podcast For Learning ‘Recovery’ - I can truly say that Noggin has done a service for every family with a young child. First of all the music is just beautiful— so catchy and fun for the whole family. And second of all— the learning is so strong in such a short time. My kids (and my entire family —adults and tweens too) love singing with the Alpha’s! So well done Noggin. Kudos.

5. Getting my boy caught up after this year - This is perfect for my YO who has lost a lot of the usual alphabet exposure being out of school this year. With an older sister at home we rarely sit down and work on the basics and this is a really fun way for him to engage with letters and their sounds. Looking forward to more episodes- maybe by the fall we’ll be ready to enter back into the real world!

4. Rating: - I'm years old and I have been listening from the beginning. I thought I would grow out of it as I got older, but I still listen to this day.
