1. Grace - I am addicted to this album and listen to it all the time. I teach junior high students and often play it in the morning as they drift into my classroom. It immediately calms them down and puts them in a ready and learning mode. Very calming. My own young children love it and my three year old goes around the house singing Ong Namo.

2. Grace by Snatam Kaur - when we heard "RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG" in the car and I look back to see the & year olds kind of relaxing into the meditation position, their feet folded in the carseats, with their hands very close to the correct position, I knew I had to have this song available at my disposal!!! One of the most hauntingly melodic songs I've heard in a long time. So nice to hear music that makes you think there is still hope out there for our human race and that small things can make a difference! Namaste!

3. VERY UPLIFTING - I just heard this artist music the other day....I was at my acupuncturist...he had it playing...and I felt almost like I had a spiritual moment while laying there with needles stuck in me. So I asked him who it was. I came home and downloaded three of her cd's...This is my NEW favorite artist...even thought I don't know how to pronounce her name. VERY UPLIFTING music!!!!!

4. a rare talent - snatam kaur has one of the loveliest voices i've ever heard. ever. the cover's not for everyone...but the music is. i'd heard this album several times, found it compelling and beautiful. when I saw the cover I was super glad i'd heard the music first. this is an amazingly beautiful album to listen to or chant with. the cd contains a great booklet that explains what the mantras mean and show a sitting position for the powerful healing chant "ra ma da sa".

5. powerfully beautiful - I found this album to be very powerful, transporting me to another place. I enjoy her spirit and that of the album. Recommended for those dedicated to peace and love. Long time sun and Thy Grace of some of the best I've heard. Ra Ma Da Sa is a meditative track that one can sink into.

1. An Immersive Experience. Divine. - Instatntly relaxing. Song one feels like immersing your tingling and receptive body into a warm bath after a good, satisfying yoga session. I recently started practicing Kundalini Yoga. See Maya Fiennes Yoga Videos if interested. 2. Blissed out! - I'm feeling blissed out writing this review from the deep and powerful meditation thanks to this album. Just listened to the first track again, chanting up the chakras, spending time sending energy to each one, infusing them with peace, love and OMmmmmmm. The energy is powerful and transformative. 1. must have - this is my favorite album ever purchased off itunes and I must say, it is worth every penny of the price. I unfortunately lost the last or so songs switching over my library to a new laptop but I am going to rebuy the album. I love it sooooo much and all songs are very heartfelt and spiritual. If you like indian classical vocals, you need to purchase the album, regardless of the lyrics. The musical genius in itself is worth it to buy the cd.

2. Awesome collection - Exhilirating music, a bargain at the price - Jasraj's latest is on the CD and recording quality is good. It is GB of bhajans. "Om Namo Bhagwate...", "Braje Basantam", "Bharat Bhai", "Nath Pavansut" are masterpieces. Adding Rajan & Sajan Mishra's best to it makes this invaluable collection.

Btw, for everyone out there, I don’t think His Holiness recorded specific for this album. I feel like it might have been extracted from multiple teachings he did over the years. 2. Good not Great - This is a peaceful album, and easy to listen to. I played it while meditating and found that it neither added nor negatively affected the session. I had hoped for more speaking/teaching from the Dalai Lama on the album, and selfishly, of course, had expected his teachings to be in English.

However, the one thing that would be helpful to all is that the Introductory commentary be available in as many languages as possible instead of just in English so that speakers of different languages have an opportunity to understand and appreciate the power of this Mantra. 2. Absolutely Awesome - Gayatri Mantra is a highly revered mantra in Hinduism and of all the vedic chants, its considered to be the most potent. Tha narration of Ratan Mohan Sharma is beautiful and his chanting of the mantra is soothing to the soul. The rendition of the mantra is good and coupled with an equally good background music makes it a complete package.

1. Wonderful - My mornings become fresh, afternoons enlightened and evenings rejuvenated as I listen to the Chanting of the Shri Gayatri Mantra. The Shri Gaytri Mantra is supposed to be very personal to a Hindu Brahmin but these recordings have brought the powerful and auspicious words to the common people and everyone on this earth. I highly recommend that every one listens to the Shri Gaytri Mantra, learns it and chants it for eternal bliss. PS: I am surprised that there is another album by Rattan Mohan Sharma in this store. That album is a % duplicate of this album. Either there is a mistake with this album or with this one.

1. Great, Joyful Kirtan Album - This is a wonderful album. I visited the Sivananda Ashram in Grass Valley last year and my favorite part was the music. 1. Wonderful way to experience Mantra Vibes - Mantras are groupings of sanskrit intonations used in the Hindu tradition for centuries. From the scientific perspective, mantras are clusters of vibrations that create a certain resonance in our bodies and the surrounding environment when intoned with proper pronounciation, cadence and in the right spirit. Most of us, even those that grew up in modern Indian households are not familiar with the right method of intoning a mantra. Shankar Mahadevan does an excellent job with his renditions. Anyone that wants to learn to chant mantras would benefit from listening to this album and learning from it. However, I find that the best way to use this album is to make a playlist of the right mantras and to play them over my stereo system. It does an effective space clearing as well as tunes the mind to the right vibe created by the mantra. I believe that this album could have benefitted from an explanation in English of the meaning of the names of these mantras. Knowing this information would be immensely useful to those that wish to use specific mantras to achieve the necessary outcome. For example, 'Rog mukti mantra' literally means 'freedom from disease mantra'. 'mansik shanti mantra' means 'peace of mind mantra' and so on. For those that are unfamiliar with Sanskrit, this kind of explanation would be very helpful. V

1. World Tour : Amma - One of the first, if not the first Album of Amritanandamayi's Bhajans, when she and her musicians were fresh and "hot" playing incredible "shakti" and moving bhajans. I met her in and was in a "dance trance" the whole night from their incredible music. These, to me, are some of the best and alive of her and her group's bhajans. 2. Wonderful concert at the World Famous RAH - A concert by the world famous musician in a well known concert hall. Nada Brahma who has more than years of experience with his modified Roland synthesizer which has the ability to play like any other instrument and in a hall which was construted way back in around . 3. It helped my recovery - when I had a car accident in , a friend brought this album to ICU and I listened to this for months continuously though my recovery process. This album helped my healing process and put me off the pain medication much sooner than everyone expected. This album just helps healing process. 4. A Keeper - I first listened to this cd when I was little. I still have this cd. Swamiji, with the support of LS, plays phenomenally. This is not the only CD by Swamiji, there are others as well. This one in particular has a very nice song called Shantirastu Tushtirastu. I also like Jai Jai Ganapati very much.

2. Very devotional and sublime - The bhajans in this album are scintillating at the same time tuning the mind into meditative mood. The album starts with Rajeswareem in Sanskrit language, with nice flute alapana in Raga Sriranjani. The lyrics are simply marvelous and poetic. The second track Durgilakshmi Devi is in a very rare -beat Mathya Tala, that is not usually used in bhajans. It is set to the Raga Kapi. You feel like singing along every time this song is played. It praises the mother Goddess in all three aspects of Trinity. HiranyaVarne he Harini is the third track praising the mother Goddess in the aspect of Lakshmi. This is another poetic master piece with great rhythm and five stanzas. th track Kameswareem is sung beautifully in Raga Vakulabhajaram takes the devotee to a totally meditative mood. The rhythm goes from beat on the pallavi to beat in the stanzas. The lyrics in Sanskrit language are simply sublime in praise of mother Goddess Rajarajeswari, and have great references to the very intricate philosophical aspects of devi worship from Devi Bhagavatham. Nee Paadalanu is the th track in Telugu language. In this bhajan set in very lucid language and very popular Raga Kharaharapriya, mentions the great benefits that many celestials got by associating with Mother Goddess and asks for the blessing of mother Goddess. Devi Vani Devi is the th track in Sanskrit Language, that has a devotee praying the mother Goddess for bestowing him with material and spiritual progress. The tone is reflected as one with "Aarthi" which is very well reflected in the Raga Lalitha. The first two stanzas pray for boons and the third stanza prays the mother Goddess, the forth stanza has the devotee praying for the spiritual progress. th track Sadara Saraswatee is a small line composition praising the Mother Goddess in the form Saraswati - the Goddess of knowledge. th track Yoga Siddhi De is in Hindi language praises the mother Goddess as various deities residing in various Yoga Chakras (energy centers).
